short: best customer service of any Krispy Kreme in Manhattan, from Jeremiah & Harouma (sp?)
long: placed an online order for a dozen to take to the office to share with coworkers. I usually go to the one on 23rd Street but it's farther and the staff is on the rude side so I decided to go on the obstacle course to find this location. I looked at the map a few times and still had to ask an NJ Transit employee for directions. I finally made it and the customer service of Jeremiah and Harouma (sp?) were very refreshing. The big dozen box is awkward to carry so I took three bags to remove them from the box to carry in my backpack. They saw me doing this and asked me if I'd like a half dozen box or 3 donut box. I was caught by surprise I didn't even know how to respond at first so I responded that I didn't want to inconvenience them so whatever is easiest for them. They even transferred the donuts over to the smaller boxes. I'm very happy with their level of customer service. Highly recommend this location.

The classic glazed donuts are my favourite of all donuts. So good to have them here directly at the station.

Donuts were fresh and extremely good as always. I cannot say the same for the service. Very blunt and rude during rush hours.

The food was really good. Loved the lamb lollipops. We usually love salty food, but felt like the onion soup was way too salty. On the flip salt, the short rib tasted like there was no salt in it at all. Both still very good and not a big deal. The steak was very chewy though. I don’t think I ever had a steak in a restaurant before that was that chewy. They did send out an email the next day checking in, which was a nice touch.

Whilst the menu does lack some healthy options, the food is very tasty and the serving team very friendly. Enjoyed a very nice dinner on my stay from the UK. Good vibes.
The corned beef sandwich was served on soft, tasty bread and the fries crispy.

Nice pub to get away from the hustle & bustle, reasonably priced for Manhattan.
Good quality food, huge portions, fast service.
Attentive staff, clean restrooms, no riff-raff.

Mustang Harry's has been my go to place for well over a decade and I'm never disappointed. Stopped in for a snack and drink while waiting for family to come into town and was once again wowed by the yummy drinks and amazingly delicious truffle fries. The staff here are the kindest people you'll meet in all of New York City!

Great atmosphere and great food. Went on a Saturday night and it wasn't too packed in the back where the tables are but the bar area was packed. Service was timely for the most part. I recommend the LAMB 3 WAYS!!!! It was plated much nicer, but I couldn't wait to dive in so I messed it up a little bit. It was a " wow this is soo good" then " oops forgot the picture" lol

This was our first stop after we left our hotel near Madison Square Garden. The service was kinda slow, but they were busy. We shared an order of fish n chips, and it was amazing. It had nice and crispy batter, and they had proper chips. The tarter sauce was good also. We shared an order of pretzel sticks, and the honey mustard was so good. This is definitely a place we will be trying again before we leave Manhattan.

Came here for a Knicks game and it was very lively without being too crowded which was great! Had their Magners cider on tap which was fine and the bottled pear cider which was good.
Food wise, tried the chicken quesadilla which was kinda disappointing. Felt like it was just chicken in a tortilla with barely any cheese, some bites had like no cheese in it and the chicken itself wasnt very flavorful. I wouldve appreciated some dipping sauce to go with it too.

I found this bar a few years ago and I don't go anywhere else in the neighborhood. It's a great spot to have a pop or two before your train across the street at Penn or pre game before the Rangers/Knicks games or the endless concerts at MSG. The food is pretty damn good, I go for the NY Rangers burger or one of the flatbreads. The service is great the barmaids are amazing! Karen is super nice she's usually there for the after work pop. Ashlynn and Katie are there later on and are just great people to have a chat with. Also have to mention Danny he's a good lad for sure. All in all I would recommend this place to everyone. Lastly the Guinness is always fresh and poured perfectly!!

As a Nottingham Forest fan living in NYC, how I’ve only discovered this bar is beyond me.
Decent selection of European draft beers and food, ordered the bacon sarnie (kudos on calling it that btw), I also kept seeing pretzels the size of a small car being served which was impressive in its own right, so even if you don’t like sports but like massive knots of dough this is a sight to behold in its own right.
Atmosphere wasn’t obnoxious and plays all the important football matches with a scheduled and well organized setup, TV’s are labelled with what game they’re playing and they have a calendar on their website with what games they’re showing in advance. Although they should be more active with their instagram but hey?
So congratulations Smithfield Hall, you’ve successfully managed to drag me from the depths of Brooklyn all the way into the city to what football. I look forward to coming here more often.

As a family of Nottingham Forest fans in NYC we were obliged to attend the Boxing Day game against Spurs. The bar has several teams who use the location of which Forest being the biggest 😉😂 Arrived at 9am for a 10am KO, greeted by the landlord (top guy from Louth) and settled down with a Guinness. Food was really good , we had the Irish and American breakfasts which were quality. All the Premier League games were on with one end of the bar Forest at one end and West Ham the other, both who rolled out winners, it was a great atmosphere.and a great place to watch the football

Came here with friends and tried the duck nachos which was different from my norm but I enjoyed it. The smoked wings in chili sauce would be my first recommendation with sweet potato fries and honey mustard sauce. The staff is friendly. The music was good. We had a great time. I would come again and highly recommend especially on a game night.

American Whiskey is the place to be if you’re looking for an electric atmosphere, amazing drinks, and the perfect setup for sports fans. It’s proudly a Georgia Bulldogs bar, and the energy during game days is unbeatable—tons of fans, great vibes, and a community feel right in the heart of NYC.
Even if you’re not a Dawgs fan, it’s an awesome place to catch any NYC sports team game or to pregame before a show or game at Madison Square Garden—just steps away and super convenient.
The food here is way above typical bar fare. The wings are phenomenal, the burger is juicy and flavorful, and everything pairs perfectly with their deep whiskey selection. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to help you find your new favorite pour.
Whether you’re in town for an event or just looking for your new go-to Midtown hangout, American Whiskey delivers every time. Can’t recommend it enough!

Eagle is a rare thing in the concrete jungle of NYC. I rarely see it. 🦅 Eagle 🦅 rare is one of my favorite whiskeys I tried a few years ago and like it a lot. Also Johnny and Evan William. I have a new whiskey drinker palette 🎨 but I'm specific about what I like. Much more to discover and I know this is a place I can taste American brands to like.
Nice place. Spacious and aerated with just the proper light for a cozy ambiance.
Friendly staff. Kaitlyn went above and beyond to provide great service. I tried an eagle 🦅 rare old fashion. It was delicious.
Ten years anniversary today and I want to congratulate you 🎉👏 on a decade milestone and wish you many more decades to come.

This was across the street from our hotel and we tried it because our kids love the cheap ramen from the store and we thought we'd show them what more authentic ramen is. It did not disappoint! The kids and adults were blown away at how delicious everything was. The spring rolls, the fried rice, and ramen were all outstanding.
I had the spicy beef which wasn't overly spicy but there were seasonings on the table to spice it up more. Two in our party had the braised rib ramen, and two had the seafood ramen. Everyone left full and very satisfied. For one of our kids it was one of the highs of our trip😂
Our waitress, Ash, was very kind and polite as well.
If you're hungry and in the area, this is a terrific spot to eat.

This place is a gem. I ordered the chicken katsu curry. The chicken was fried PERFECTLY. I would have liked if the curry was a little spicier, but it was still tasty.
The 2 servers were very timely in filling up my glass of water. I'd definitely come back here the next time I'm in the area.

The ramen here was great. Went here with two other friends and we all enjoyed it. I got the deluxe with extra noodle and it was a great amount of food. The broth was delicious as was everything else. Great pricing, especially considering the area too, and staff was friendly. Food came out relatively quickly. Definitely recommend this place.

This is my favorite ramen place. The broth is rich and hearty. I also had the passion fruit bubble tea which was the perfect level of sweetness (without tapioca pearls) and the fried chicken. The portion is decently large for the ramen and everything is definitely worth it for the price.

We were at Ajisen in Chinatown a few days before and we loved it. Later we discovered there was another branch closer to our hotel and we didn’t doubt in trying this one. Very good! Delicious ramen, nice service, it was calm when we went and we really enjoyed that calmness after a noisy morning walking Manhattan. Recommended!!!

My mobile order is always ready before I arrive. The staff are super friendly and I also enjoy their playlist. I even leave with cute little things like this on my cup hehe!

The morning I was here, one of the ovens wasn't working. This caused a bit of a back up in orders, but the staff handled it so well. As I ate I watched them placate customers, and support each other in a steady flow of tasks as all of the orders came in from mobile and register customers.
I tipped as much as I could in the app (admittedly, I could've missed where I could tip more), and I hope their pillows are always cold and their coffee hot.

Original review can be found below; however, due to the Store Manager’s response I cannot in good conscience leave a single lousy star as representative of what the Store Manager did to change my opinion about this establishment.
Leaving a lasting impression is critical in the world of customer service. My last impression is that if you are not satisfied with your experience here, they will make it right.
It was a tough hurdle to overcome. Changing my original impression wasn’t going to be easy, but it happened. Customers want to be heard when their expectations aren’t met and in my original review that never occurred. Starbucks reached out after complaining and they addressed our concerns with kindness, humility, and understanding. This isn’t always the case and it’s a shame when it isn’t, because it’s not that difficult.
Thank you Devon. Looking forward to coming back and I’ll be sure to encourage others to do the same.
—————————original————————
Not only is their online inventory/menu inaccurate, they literally have the worst customer service of any of the hundred Starbucks I’ve ever been to. If a morning rush is too much for this staff, they should retrain our rehire.
Maybe she can work in the back where she doesn’t need to interact with people.
With dozens of options surrounding this black hole of service you have no reason to waste your money here or you’re likely to be following me with your own 1 Star review.
Less attitude, more coffee please.
