4 Star Rating Came here on a referral from a top Long Island steakhouse owner. The host greeted us warmly and accommodated our request to sit a half hour sooner than our reservation. Great table in the back in the pipe room. History of the place adds to the ambience. Lively atmosphere but not loud. Brenna and her team gave us great service and helped us celebrate my son's birthday. The filet mignon was cooked to order and tender. Same with porter house. Portions were generous. The Caesar salad was just okay. Same with the broccoli/cauliflower. Carrot cake is outstanding! Prices are on par with good steak houses.

5 Star Rating Keens is 110% worth the hype. The ambience is top notch where you can hear others you are with. It’s very elegant inside. The staff was very attentive to our table and we had an amazing waitress! I never got her name but she made our night one to remember! All cuts of meat were phenomenal, the mutton, t bone, prime rib, all amazing. I thought the prime rib was very standout and a must have. For appetizers, the calamari salad and bacon were perfect starters. Bacon is a must-buy! Overall, it’s definitely worth it. I recommend doing a Resy Notify and hope to score a good time. Otherwise, you will have to book far out. Regardless it’s super worth it!

5 Star Rating I recently had the pleasure of dining at Keen’s Steakhouse, and it absolutely lived up to its legendary reputation — especially when it came to their famous mutton chop. The chop was cooked to perfection — beautifully seared on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. The seasoning was spot-on: rich, savory, and expertly balanced to highlight the deep, hearty flavor of the meat. It’s a cut that commands attention, and Keen’s delivers it with confidence and tradition. Service was excellent — attentive without being overbearing. The staff clearly know the menu and the restaurant’s storied history, and it adds to the charm of the whole experience. What really sets Keen’s apart, though, is the atmosphere. The dining rooms are steeped in history, with thousands of antique clay pipes hanging from the ceiling — each one telling a story. You can’t help but pause when you spot the most famous names, like Babe Ruth and Teddy Roosevelt. It’s like dining in a museum of New York’s past. In all, if you’re a fan of classic steakhouses and want a bite of history, Keen’s mutton chop is a must-try. It’s an iconic dish in an iconic setting — and one I’d happily return for.

5 Star Rating Wonderful food, service and ambiance. We came for a birthday celebration and the staff made it so special. Made the reservation a month in advance for prime time Saturday night. We loved the prime rib, fabulous! They came and sang happy birthday with a slice of cheesecake that made it so special. The room itself is really cool to see the pipes on the ceiling. It’s a huge restaurant with lots of rooms. Definitely recommend for a special occasion!

3 Star Rating We visited Keens Steakhouse and honestly, from start to finish there was no “wow” moment — neither in the service nor in the steaks. We ordered lamb, a porterhouse for three, crab cakes, salads, and vegetables. Even the bread was hard as a rock and almost impossible to enjoy. I truly don’t understand how this place became so famous. The only surprising positive was their wine list — many bottle options under $100, which was appreciated. But overall, the food was mediocre at best, bite after bite. I probably won’t be coming back to try any more steaks here.

5 Star Rating This is a fantastic place in midtown NYC, right by Penn Station. They have around 20 draught beers, a long cocktail menu, and food menu. The food is the usual pub fare, plus some pretty nice salads, and other items. The food is good even if it won’t blow your mind, but the drinks and the service will. Gaston was my bartender; he was knowledgeable about beer, and genuinely interested in helping me find something I would love, not just like. The other bartender was also engaging. This place also has private rooms/spaces and outdoor street-level seating. Coupled with a fantastic location, this is one of my top picks!

5 Star Rating We've visited Stout near Penn Station many dozens of times over the years. This place and Feile next door are the two nicest pubs in the area, in my opinion. Stout, in particular, is always jam-packed full of people, and the food here is solid. If you're down near MSG for an event, Stout is an excellent place to visit beforehand.

5 Star Rating 📍 Stout NYC (right next to MSG) Just when you thought game night couldn’t get any better… 🤩 I dove into their Loaded Street Fries and WOW. Crispy fries piled high with tender beef birria, ooey-gooey Monterey Jack & sharp cheddar, zippy cherry peppers, tangy pickled red onions, and a drizzle of lime crema that ties it all together perfectly. Every bite = 🔥🔥🔥 And those Buffalo Wings? Absolutely next-level. Crisp skin, juicy inside, and that signature buffalo sauce has the perfect balance of heat and flavor. I may never order wings anywhere else again. 🍗💥 But wait—there’s more. Their Individual Wisconsin-Style Thin Crust Pizza is a revelation. Think ultra-thin, cracker-crisp crust loaded with melty cheese, tangy sauce, and just the right amount of everything. It’s NYC comfort food at its finest. 🍕✨ Whether you’re catching a game or just craving epic bar eats, Stout NYC is a slam dunk. 🙌 #StoutNYC #LoadedFries #BeefBirria #BuffaloWings #ThinCrustPizza #MSGEats #NYCFoodie #GameDayGrub #FoodieInTheBigApple2025

5 Star Rating Authentic Szechuan food with a creative twist. Every dish we ordered was delicious and hit the spot with the right amount of spice and flavor. Surprisingly reasonably priced. Even though we didn’t try the cocktails the menu and names looked definitely interesting. Very cute and chic decor inside. The only downside is that it was very loud so we had to shout to each other throughout our meal. Will be coming back.

5 Star Rating I’ve been coming to Café China for years, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently great. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever ordered something I didn’t like here. 4 Star Rating Been wanting to come here for a since they moved a couple of years ago. Their old space, now called Chili, has a lot of the same dishes. My favorite there is Mr and Mrs Smith. Curiously named, I thought, until I came to Cafe China and saw the exact same dish called Husband and Wife Special. Instead I ordered the smoked tofu cold dish. Lots of spicy oil and numbing peppercorns. Could use some more peanuts and scallions in the dish but still tasty. The Spicy Fish was fried, and comes with lots of dried red peppers, cilantro and 2 limes. Delicate flavor and lightly fried. The tea program is on point. This oolong tastes like a 2nd batch from a high mountain plantation. Very good

Since it’s family style, the split among four people landed us about ~$30-50 before tip. Space is pretty big for the location but you need a reservation for most days since it’s smack middle of midtown. Highly recommend!

5 Star Rating The Kunjip was the perfect spot to have dinner after a New York Rangers game. The fact that the walk is so close to MSG made it an easy choice to go to. The food was delicious, and the Korean Barbecue was some of the best food I've had at a Korean restaurant in a long time. The service was excellent, we got a table immediately and were able to place our order in a reasonable time. Our waiter was great, the food came fast, and our drinks were always full. Every time our drinks got low, the waiter asked us if we wanted more drinks and brought them to us. Which is appreciated, thank you for that. The Kunjip will be a place to visit again the next time we are in NYC.

3 Star Rating One of my go-to spots in Korea-town, NYC I love how every meal comes with 5–6 tasty banchan (Korean side dishes) — they are flavorful, and change often. I had the broiled mackerel, and it was amazing. The lunch special gives you half a mackerel with fresh-made rice and a hearty stew for $19.95, I also had the whole fish for $30.95. Truthfully, for the variety, flavor, and nutritional value, it’s hard to beat this place. Great portions, quick service, and a cozy, authentic vibe. Highly recommend. Tip: Talk slower and clear to the service attendant, I experienced their Korean much better than English.

5 Star Rating On a rainy day, took a walk to Korea town. Felt like eating something hearty and went to the Kunjip. Best decision of the day - I had the gam ja tang which was sooooo delicious. The meat was so tender and broth rich and flavourful. Paired with such lovely fresh rice and assorted ban chan. It was the best Korean food I've had. Lots of Koreans frequenting the restaurant, including more senior customers, which means the food is legit!

5 Star Rating We have been to kunjip maybe 30-40 times in past few years and it has never disappointed. Been here first with some Korean friends who took us and mentioned it’s an authentic experience, which is true and makes the place special. It’s not fancy place and simple one but clean and good food which is most important. We always like their japche noodles, pancake, budge chigae, beef broth chigae, bimimbob. Sorry for all the spelling mistakes, but you know what I mean. We also love their side dishes which come complimentary at beginning of meal. One thing- or sure why they stopped giving the tasty steamed egg as a complimentary starter which now only is for bbq customers- found that bit bad way to treat regular customers. Also some of the other complimentary starters are now downgraded also to cheaper stuff. So I took off one star in service for all this “cheapness” let’s say. We used to give a high tip anyway due to all the extras in past and it was nice perk but anyway rest of dishes are tasty still. It’s $25 per person if you don’t get any alcohol.

They are always extremely patient with my colleagues who have different kinds of food allergies and restrictions. My husband loved their Cajun burger - it’s ridiculously big with waffle fries. We always go for their happy hour for $10 mules. Perfect spot for lunch or relaxing time after work! The only downside is that they seem always short staffed. 4 Star Rating This showed up on various lists of best Korean spots in the city, with a Michelin Bib Gourmand as well, known for its fresh homemade tofu. And everyone else knows this too, so the waitlist at 6pm on a weekday was already 30 parties deep. Many parties do drop-off and it seemingly counts down faster than expected but we still waited an hour for a table for 3. Would suggest downloading the Minipass app and it seems you can put yourself on the wait-list earlier instead of when you reach the restaurant. The meal came with a starter tofu dish and a variety of banchan, which were all quite good. They do offer refills to the banchan. Service was also very attentive and friendly. We ordered a couple dishes: - Perilla seed tofu stew ($19) - quite unique and tasty, with some little rice balls and potatoes that added a nice texture. Though the overall dish was a lot smaller than I had expected. - Buckwheat soybean noodle ($20) - it was a hot day and thought a cool dish would be nice, but this was pretty underwhelming esp at this price point. - Seafood pancake ($19) - really enjoyed this one, good crispy texture and mix of seafood. Overall, I appreciated the freshness of the tofu but didn't quite live up to the hype and value for me at this price point.

5 Star Rating If you're looking for legit Korean comfort food in NYC, Cho Dang Gol is the spot. Hands down some of the best Korean food I’ve had. Food Let’s start with the stars of the show: •    Cod Roe Omelette – This thing was incredible. Soft, silky eggs wrapped around salty little pops of cod roe. It’s rich, savory, and slightly briny in the best way. •    Bossam – Perfectly tender pork belly, sliced thick and served with all the proper fixings. Everything else we ordered was solid too. Banchan was fresh and varied and the tofu dishes were especially comforting. For four people, we absolutely feasted and still only paid $160. That’s rare, especially for quality like this. Service They don’t take reservations, so prepare for a bit of a wait. You can hop on the Minitable waitlist, which helps, but expect to linger outside for a bit, especially during peak hours. That said, once you’re in, the staff is warm, efficient, and knows their stuff. Our server had great recs and was super patient. Ambiance It’s cozy and unpretentious. Wood tables, warm lighting, just the right amount of buzz from nearby tables. Final Take Cho Dang Gol is the kind of place you start recommending to friends before you’ve paid the check. It’s cozy, authentic, and surprisingly affordable for the quality. That cod roe omelette and bossam are must-tries. Just plan ahead with the waitlist and come hungry.

Second of all - the food. Wow. I got the Passera E Caviale which apparently has been on the menu for the past 10 years. I hope it stays on the menu for another 10 years. 5 Star Rating Certainly great experience with sleek interiors and attentive service. I started with the Tuna Tartare, which was both flavorful and full of subtle surprises. The green beans were pickled with a bold tang that reminded me of traditional Southern Chinese pickling techniques—unexpected but delightful. The peppers weren’t pickled, but still carried a strong, almost fermented complexity. The quail egg had a perfectly runny yolk—creamy and rich. The purple potato chips turned out to be crunchy and fun. The potato dice was especially impressive—smooth, tender, and almost buttery in texture. The tuna itself was fresh and cleanly cut, holding its own against the punchy accompaniments. For the main course, I went with the Fiori Burger, and it was a bit of a mixed experience. The beef patty itself was the highlight—expertly cooked, very tender and juicy, though leaning a little salty for my palate. The sun-dried tomato added a touch of sweetness that helped balance the richness, and the cheese was pleasantly thick and melty. The bun was quite underwhelming—texturally mediocre and didn’t hold up to the juicy patty. The fries, though crispy, were just average. It’s certainly a more refined take than average $10 burgers.

5 Star Rating Great place for a quick, budget-friendly Korean meal! The food was fresh and tasty with plenty of options to please everyone. Seating can be a bit tricky to find though.

5 Star Rating This is a convenient, grab-and-go Korean eatery where the food is pre-cooked and ready for quick service. It's a great spot to sample a variety of dishes, especially if you're visiting for the first time. The setup is cafeteria-style, with seat-yourself dining. While I believe it's kid-friendly, expect a lively and busy atmosphere.

2 Star Rating The tofu banchan was on point. The chicken however, is sickeningly sweet and did not appeal to my rather East Asian palate. The Jajangmyeon tasted exactly as it should— cafeteria grade—as the sauce came on top of the noodle so the noodles can’t soak up the flavor of the fermented bean. This is a popular stop and eat place by groups of loud salary men, and for the poor ambience and average food, it’s not worth the price and it’s not a place I will want to visit again.

5 Star Rating Ayza is not just a wine and chocolate bar but also a fantastic restaurant with the one of the best chocolate martinis in the city. Indulge in wine and chocolate pairings while sipping on martini and enjoying some of the best foods. Cozy and dimly lit lights brings out the vibe here along with their top notch staffs. Outdoor, patio, and indoor seating is available for your sweet experience. And trust me. You won’t be ordering just one martini but do save room for their amazing chocolate fondue and so you won’t regret it.

4 Star Rating The restaurant is a lot smaller than I expected, but it has an intimate ambience. The food and drinks were fine, the truffle pizza was the best out of them all, just absolutely delectable in that cheesy goodness🔥👌 Our waitress was also very sweet. I can only imagine how jam packed this place would be on the weekends though, so I’d recommend coming here on a weekday when it’s not as busy and take advantage of the happy hours as well!

5 Star Rating Came here for a drink voucher and omg is it an absolute gem! Host and server could not have been sweeter, drinks were amazing, its a gorgeous bar, our snack was divine…chicken hoisin lollipops with the bonus of seaweed salad, on the recommendation of our server. Would have been very happy to stay for an entire meal if we did not have dinner plans elsewhere.

5 Star Rating Azya was such a wonderful experience! Even though they’re best known as a wine & chocolate bar (and famous for their chocolate martinis 🍸🍫), we decided to try some of their food items — and everything was absolutely delicious. The filet mignon, in particular, is highly recommended — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. A spot worth revisiting!

5 Star Rating My friend and I have had this on our list for quite awhile, and, we also had some not in the pictures incl the truffle butter filet mignon & the cacio Pepe and there are other things I will have to go back for, soon! It was my birthday so we shared A LOT of food and it all was delicious along with the cocktails like the different flavored chocolate martinis and another, larger list of cocktails, and next time we will have to try the wine flights with chocolates but we all couldn't decide on what to share as there is a variation with white chocolate, milk chocolate and dark chocolate, and, I was the only one that would do any of them so there was no tiebreaker for my two friends, LOL! Great friendly service & caring staff who want to make sure you have the best time possible, THANK YOU‼️

5 Star Rating Stella is a restaurant in the heart of midtown Manhattan that features a variety of Italian-inspired dishes. The Shrimp is small but packed with flavor and a nice garlic sauce. The meatballs are huge and tender with a hearty marinara sauce with Parmesan cheese. The restaurant has huge windows that show a great sunset if you can catch it. It also has a great city view. Tables are intimate(read small) and try to get a booth so you’re the most comfortable. They have a great selection of dishes that are very popular and I personally recommend the eggplant Parmesan. Not the entree portion but the appetizer portion. Very nicely priced. Great for a date or a place to rest after shopping.

5 Star Rating I’ve been here several times, and I gotta tell you I love the food. The views are insane, I came today on a Friday afternoon, and they have happy hour, From 430 to 630. My drink actually came with a free personal pie. I would’ve never known that if it wasn’t because of Saleem The Bartender, who was amazing, very friendly, and recommended. The best drink I ever had.

5 Star Rating Sincerely, we were just looking for a drink and something to munch before going to the Empire State. What we found was: great service, best Italian food outside Italy and views of the city all in one place. The eggplant parmigiana was simply the best I've ever had apart from home made in an Italian home. The cheese and cold cuts platter was superb. The drinks were very good too. Service excellent. My friend forgot her credit card and the staff was so helpful when we went back to collect it. A hidden gem inside Macy’s.

5 Star Rating Nice space and service. A decent size meal and outstanding quality ! We had the LE COSTINE pork ribs with a cheese risotto (the best of the place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️), TAGLIATA DI MANZO a nice meat sandwich and a pizza! The Stella spritz cocktail wasn’t as good according to the food, but was ok. (Rather don’t ask for it) The view was beautiful!, you eat viewing the Empire State Building 🛕

5 Star Rating The most favourite Italian restaurant in New York, specifically the Macy branch. Mr. Dillon was a very expert in the content of the menu and guided us on what we had to try. We loved everything he suggested and the last thing we sealed and our meal with a tramiso cake. It was one of the most delicious cakes we tried here.
