This restaurant recently had a change in management and I’d say the quality of the food is around the same. It is a solid spot for Chinese food in midtown.
The food has gotten more expensive though. The steamed fish was delicious but $40 is a bit much for a very simple dish.
In short, this is a good place to go get lunch specials and quick dinners, but probably not for anything special.

I can't rave enough about this hidden gem! This place truly deserves all five stars for several reasons. Comparing to other Chinese cuisines in Manhattan, its prices are incredibly affordable, making it a perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic meal without breaking the bank. Despite the low prices, the quality of the food is outstanding. Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection.
The service was equally impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations, ensuring we had an unforgettable dining experience.
Speaking of the menu, the selection is enormous! There's something for everyone, from classic favorites to unique specialties.

Went there for lunch lately. It is good for the price. Food is great. The only thing is their menu's spicy level is spicier than I expected.

Delicious Chinese food at Herald Square. The prices are fair. There are much cheaper offers at lunchtime. The team was very friendly and quick. The easiest way to pay is by credit card directly at the place.

Better than expected. Authentic and solid ingredients. A neighborhood I usually visit for Korean food just walked in for a quick noodle. I tried the spicy Szechuan beef noodle soup for a quick fix and ended. up savoring each bite and sip. The right balance between hot and Szechuan pepper. All the right amount of texture in brisket, tendon, and membrane done just right. It's been years since I last had something this orignal… and it was in Asia. I look forward to going back and trying other dishes.

Went back to try more dishes. Enjoyable! Great food.

Great spot pre game or to watch. The kitchen is very efficient. The food is bar and grill at it's 'best'. No complaints here with large orders and tight time frames.... Great for game day! Highly Recommended.

Very nice bar, the beer was good, beautiful in the back room. It could have used a few more bathrooms but they might have been spread out it was hard to tell. It was a little crowded before the game but the atmosphere was nice.

Delightful experience! Visited for a business meeting mid-afternoon and the place was surprisingly empty. The staff was incredibly attentive, It was a nice change from other places I've been in NYC. The good was tasty, bright and colorful. Fairly inexpensive and I'd say a great spot for a meeting, date or hang out with a few friends. Recommended.

We went there for game 7 of NY Knicks as the played away. Fantastic atmosphere during the game. Felt like in MSG at some point when crowd cheers for the team. Food surprisingly good. I had a burger which was very good and good size for me, however might be small for some. A friend enjoyed a dozen of wings, spectacular. Guinness well poured, did not feel watery, creamy. Service relatively fast. They ask you to pay with an app at the table, which is a novelty for a European who I am.

I so wish we had found this place sooner. We stopped for breakfast and there were great GF options (including bread) for my husband with celiac. I had the keto energy bowl and it was GREAT!! I wish I had taken a picture because it was a beautiful dish. This was also the cheapest place we ate and everything was so fresh. GF options are more difficult than we anticipated in NY so I highly recommend this place!.

I ordered the chocolate iced creme filled donut and it was alright. I didn’t enjoy the filling too much, perhaps the custard is better. The dough was good and the icing too.

My wife loves Krispy Kreme, so we visited this location to get her fix. It is not as deluxe as the Times SQ location, but the coffee is good, and the service was quick.

Whenever I go to Penn station , I always end up buying atleast 6 or a dozen donuts from Krispy Kreme.. my kids just love this .. after having really mediocre donuts from other shops, these donuts have that extra taste .. of course it’s a bit expensive.. it’s kinda ok , once in a while . Conveniently located inside Penn station. Service can be a little more quick . Otherwise love this place … thumbs up 👍
Raj S - 7 months ago
The reason I give 3 star is the terribly unhealthy nature of these donuts. Why can’t you guys come up with healthier ingredients? The smell of the donuts was amazingly delicious. the atmosphere in the store was exciting, fun, and joyful! The line to pick up was little bit jammed but I attribute that to the busy location at Times Square. If you are in NY at midtown and don’t have problems eating 1000 calories donut, stop by this store to experience it!
R.I. Mar - 3 months ago
Awesome Krispy Kreme! Even though it’s underground where the train station is, there is always a large selection of donuts available.
Even if the line looks long, don’t be discouraged - it’s very fast moving. Donuts have always been fresh and it’s a very clean storefront!
Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re starting, finishing, or even mid-way through your commute!
Note: On National donut day, they DO give free donuts. Nothing beats their classic glazed donut.
Pros:
-Amazing donuts, super fresh and warm
-Wide range of donuts available
-Friendly staff
Cons:
-Sometimes a long line - but it does move relatively fast

Giant thick pancakes x3 and eggs cooked exactly how you like them. This was our perfect breakfast destination. Super polite and gracious staff who obliged me with a take-away container (it was more than you’d get for $AUD16 anywhere in Sydney). Coffee wasn’t too bad when you ask for Americano either.

Yes, it's safe to visit this place. I didn't get what I ordered, but you'll get something that won't poison you. If you're going for a good meal, don't. If you're going for a classic diner experience, yes, you'll get it. Hopefully, that will be enough for your knowledge base to realise that you can spend less and get actual food.

I was extremely pleased by everything about this diner. We were greeted by friendly staff (at least 6 different employees) and I couldn’t believe how nice they were. The fruit bowl, Oreo pancakes, PASTRAMI BURGER 🤤 and everything on their breakfast menu so far.. are incredible. One thing I need to stress about this place as well, is that the food arrived to our hotel room literally within 10-15 minutes 🤩 oh; and the food was very hot! So many other restaurants deliveries end up being lukewarm 😑 Tip the staff because they don’t get any better than this. I forgot to mention the cheesecake ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Such good food here. Burger was great, so were the pretzels. My husband got the roasted chicken which was incredibly good. They also had good non alcoholic drink options which is nice for a change.

Nice Irish bar, but the food wasn’t great as I had before in other Irish bars, we had fried calamari and they forgot to bring the marinara sauce with it. They were okay but not great,
We had the beef sliders and I think the bread was kinda hard and dry 😅.
Guinness was great 👍🏻
Paulina De Santiago - 5 months ago
A warm and friendly atmosphere greets you as you walk in the door. All the staff were helpful and pleasant. A well kept Guinness in a 20oz glass is always good. The other cocktails were well made too. My first time at this location (did love the other- such a shame it’s now closed)
Graham Short - a year ago
It's a cozy and comfortable place to enjoy a nice drink and food. The low lighting is fairly relaxing, and the booths were comfortable to sit in.
I came for a short stay but got to try out the pan roasted chicken, which was served with some nice assortment of vegetables (See Pic). The chicken had a nice crust to it, but overall, it was on the drier side, especially towards the middle. It's not that big of a deal as the vegetables and light sauce that came with it made up for the dryness.
I came early I'm the day so I can't speak much on the nightlife scene.

I came here for a co-workers retirement dinner, and I will be honest that I had very low expectations dining here since the restaurant is located on the 6th floor in Macy's. But, to my surprise, the restaurant is very lovely and the food, in my opinion, tasted great. We got the bread for the table, calamari, and seared prawns as appetizers to be shared. My main course was the roasted chicken, and it was cooked perfectly, and it was moist and juicy. My cocktail of the Spicy Blood Orange Margarita gave me a nice buzz. The only issue was the service, which was a tad slow. We were way done with our appetizers and drinks before our server came back to get our main course orders. Don't get me wrong, the young man who waited on us was very friendly and took our orders correctly, and made sure that he addressed my co-workers' food allergies with the kitchen. They have a decent sized food and drinks menu, but it can seem rather expensive...then again it is located in Macy's. In spite of the slower than usual service, I really enjoyed my meal here and would dine her again in the future.

My friend and I ate dinner there. I ordered an artichoke risotto with limoncello spritz and my friend got the paccheri with a glass of prosecco. While the food was edible, it was mediocre. The fennel on my risotto tasted salty and soaked in oil, and the ragu sauce on my friends pasta was watery. The limoncello spritz was quite refreshing though.
Other than that, the vibe was bougie and the service was friendly. It is located in the Macy's building.

Restaurant located inside Macy's (one below level). I went on Saturday, around 1.30pm, and I found a very small queue (just two couples waiting before us). I don't know if it is possible to make a reservation, but it would be a good idea to check. I went because it was a rainy day, and after shopping in Macy's, it was the best place to stay and have lunch (in the meantime the rain stops a little). We got a place very quickly, but because we chose the bar, however, other people who wanted a table had to wait more (very strange because I saw several empty tables). As a tip, if you order a club sandwich, try one for two people, because the portion is quite big. Being in the bar, the attention was good and kind.

Hector was our Bartender ! Hector provided great service and that was a pleasant surprise! It’s so challenging to get superior service or someone who enjoys their job! The chicken wings were great thanks to the cook. It’s also challenging to find properly cooked and seasoned food!
My friend and I were at Rowland Bar and grill for 4 hours while our wives enjoyed Macy’s department store. Oh by the way, it was the best way to wait for our wives as well as walk around New York! Great Afternoon!

We went mid afternoon and the food was undercooked and the staff were inattentive. The guy who served us seemed like he didn't want to be there and seemed in a rush for us to order. Then after we got our food, a little later, a waitress just said "ready for the check here" and didn't even ask us if we wanted anything else or any desserts. They used boneless chicken thighs for the chicken sandwich but the meat was undercooked and didn't taste right. French fries were good🍟. Wouldn't go back.

Really enjoyed the food! The burger sliders and sweet potato fries were amazing. Typically, I don’t enjoy buffalo wings, but the ones from here were pretty good. I wouldn’t recommend getting any of their beverages besides water or soda. The peach iced lemonade I got had no taste at all.

Stopped in for dinner after work with some family who recommended Mustang Harry’s and was delightfully surprised by the elevated atmosphere with the food to match.
Get rid of any preconceived notions you have regarding typical “pub fare” because this place far exceeds those expectations. They make a juicy hamburger but the wide selection of entrees ranging from Tuscan salmon to braised short ribs truly caught my eye. The entire meal was delicious and I can easy see why this place is so packed.

Wanted to try a steak sandwich in New York and this place was in my neighborhood; a sports bar, with a very long bar (which I loved!), giving a classic American vibe. I had the Grilled Ribeye Sandwich. Although it was definitely not bad, the taste was a bit blend in my opinion. Further, it took some time before I could place my order, but overall service was ok.

We were looking for a place to take our lunch break so we ended up here. As you enter there is a long full bar on your right side. I was impressed of all the different brands that this place carries. The vibe is cool and energetic. We sat all the way to the back and we ordered three of the Harry’s burger and a chicken burger. I couldn’t wait to try their signature burger (Harry’s). The portion was great, blue cheese was a little overpowering, the burger tasted good but I think there a lot of different flavors mixed up in there. It came with fries. I paired it with beer like everyone else. The service was really good and our waiter and the busser were on top for their game. Good job guys

The food was awesome. We had the prime rib for two, and it was incredible. We had the calamari as an appetizer. It was tender and yummy. The service was great. I gave it a 4 for atmosphere because it was a little cramped and noisy, but that's what you get in most places in the city. They try to squeeze in as many tables as they can.

Reservations for 1 px are not feasible online... seriously?
The place had such a good rating that I gave it a shot. I went early and got a table. The atmosphere is nice, cozy, a bit loud because of the reflections of the low ceiling.
I ordered a steak with creamy blue cheese sauce and fries. And a glass of wine.
I don't know if my order had choked the person who poured the wine, but it was spilled all around. Ok, this can happen, but it should not arrive at the customer. I asked for it to be cleaned (as I am not so fond of red wine stains on my clothes), and ... nothing happened. I then asked the person who appeared to be the maître d'hôtel for a PAPER napkin to clean the mess. So he did what I had avoided and used the fabric napkin... well, ok, I
had tried to be Nice.
The steak came - the plate was cold, which is not a good idea if you order rare meat. The cooking was perfect, meat was excellent but unfortunately, it could not make up for the rest. Fries were ok - let's say Mcdonald's level. The sauce did not deserve the name and the wine was way below the $17/glass.
In a nutshell, the excellent meat saved the 3*

Food was good however did feel very rushed. Tables entirely too close. Noise level unbearable not able to have a conversation at your table. Then we ordered 2 different wines a little surprised when waiter smelled one to differentiate. Was there many years ago and was much better. Convince to MSG is a plus

My job organized someone's retirement here and it's often a difficult place to make a reservation with generally, as we tried afterwards for other functions with no luck. The fixed price menu was full of general stuff, and most people went with the Burgers and fries, which were good- not amazing. They served our party quickly since it wasn't too busy in the early afternoon. The best thing I ate was the dessert. That cheesecake was moist and creamy.
