Great place to watch F1 races live, do yourself a favor and book a table. We enjoyed beers, cocktails and tasty bar food. The Irish spice bag was a good snack (a bit salty but my partner really liked it) and the hot honey pepperoni pizza was nice and crispy. Neither of us could detect any hot honey so YMMV. I'd be interested to try the mushroom pizza next time or the wings.

Come for the sports, stay because the burger changed your life. Honestly, usually "NYC sports bar" = "standing in someone’s armpit," but Stout is actually beautiful inside? The layout is great and the flow makes sense—you aren't bumping into 50 people just to get to the restroom. Great location near the Garden. Love the cobblestone floors! If you have eyeballs and like sports, this is the spot. The TV setup is elite; there isn't a bad seat in the house. Definitely check out the downstairs area too, it’s a whole vibe down there. The staff were absolute legends—super friendly and fast. And whatever you do, order the smash burger. It was awesome. I might dream about it later. Highly recommend!

Where do I start. If you’re looking for an extra ordinary experience watching the Knicks from start to finish come here. You will be treated with love and care whether it’s being greeted at the door by Evelyn, Aijla, or being taken care of at the bar by Jessica, Thelma, Emmanuel, Jackie, Gaston. Let's not forget the hard working bar back Angel who also always stops to greet you as well with a "lets go knicks!" Always helps to have the very energetic and full of joy Briana there as well. The place is managed so well by yours truly, Freya, who will also greet you warmly with a smile. And let’s not forget the incredible bouncers who keep everyone safe, Lenny, Lou, and Raymond. Stout NYC is where you come and leave all your day to day gripes behind, and just come to enjoy and cheer on your beloved sports teams. This place will always be the go to spot for all sports watching, and enjoying with friends.

I had Jess and Cee as my bartenders, what a lovely crew! Did their oyster deal on Mondays, 1$ per oyster, such a good deal. A great spot for pre-drinks or post-drinks for an MSG game or concert. Been frequenting this spot for a few months now, and have to say all of the staff is stellar, and the food is on par with the service. 10/10 if you’re in the Penn station area, you gotta come here.

short: best customer service of any Krispy Kreme from Jeremiah long: placed an online order for a dozen to take to the office to share with coworkers. I usually go to the one on 23rd Street but it's farther and the staff is on the rude side so I decided to go on the obstacle course to find this location. I looked at the map a few times and still had to ask an NJ Transit employee for directions. I finally made it, and the customer service of Jeremiah was very refreshing. The big dozen box is awkward to carry, so I took three bags to remove them from the box to carry in my backpack. They saw me doing this and asked me if I'd like a half-dozen box or 3 donut box. I was caught by surprise. I didn't even know how to respond at first, so I responded that I didn't want to inconvenience them, so whatever is easiest for them. They even transferred the donuts over to the smaller boxes. I'm very happy with their level of customer service. Highly recommend this location.

Got the original glazed and tried the cinnamon roll. Never had krispy kreme before and it's ok, didn't blow me away with all the hype I've heard about them. The original glazed was good and the cinnamon roll tasted like a honey bun, would say it could used more cinnamon filling. Tried the Cookie Biscoff flavor, was pretty good flavor and good mix of textures.

Whenever I go to Penn station , I always end up buying atleast 6 or a dozen donuts from Krispy Kreme.. my kids just love this .. after having really mediocre donuts from other shops, these donuts have that extra taste .. of course it’s a bit expensive.. it’s kinda ok , once in a while . Conveniently located inside Penn station. Service can be a little more quick . Otherwise love this place … thumbs up 👍

Best place to get fresh, tasty donuts. Their donuts start from $2.19 which is worst it for the way these donuts taste. This is a great place to get your donuts from since its usual not busy so there’s no wait. They bring out special new ones for each holiday and season which is really something to be exited for. Overall if you’re looking for a great donut go to any krispy creme but go here if you don’t want to wait in a line.

It was a very funny experience. I’ll start with Steve, out server: he understood my order even if it was out of the menu and I was inventing it in the moment. Food was great and the price is fair. Atmosphere is typical of a diner. We really enjoyed a lot our time there and we will definitely go back.

We went with a group of friends for brunch. The place is roomy and there is a lot of space. That said it is better to make a reservation. The food is good. It is a dinner so you should order the diner specialtiea or the dishes diners are best know for. Any more healthy or elaborate dishes are always a bit of a gamble. The staff was really helpful and nice. Very convenient location and easy to get to.

I got the griddle deluxe and it was so delicious! The pancakes were fluffy and tasty. My husband got the oatmeal and side of bacon which was also delicious. It was a nice diner for brunch. Would definitely recommend.

Very fast service during breakfast rush. It's so cool though to see wait stuff show attention, be calm, yet get your coffee refills multiple times yet not to feel the crazy rush of NYC. It's fast and slow paced at the same time :) The food was delicious and good value for the $, especially since you end up paying almost the same at counter serviy places around.

During the Road Scholar's "American Mosaic - An NYC Exploration" program from Jun 22 to Jun 27, 2025, we had one dinner and five breakfasts at Tick Tock Diner located inside the New Yorker Hotel. Access was through its indoor entrance located next to the "Butcher & Banker" entrance, which was located to the left of the hotel's elevator hall. Since we were part of a tour group, we got vouchers that listed what we could order. No standard menus for us. The sole exception was Day 1 dinner. We relied on an oral menu recited by the waiter. Since I don't have a photographic memory, I asked him to repeat the entrees. For appetizers, I had chicken noodle soup, and wife had salad; for entrees, I had steak (medium rare) with onion rings, Wife had grilled chicken with veggies. The chicken noodle soup was salty, easily the saltiest chicken noodle soup I ever tasted. It was also the smallest in portion size, slightly larger than a Chinese tea cup. As for the entree, the steak was slightly bigger than my hand, and served well-done instead of medium rare. I did not see any red inside the meat. The onion rings tasted like they came straight from the fryer and without any seasonings. The ones at Burger King tasted better. Wife remarked that her chicken looked pan-fried than grilled. Dessert was a scoop of vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup, which wasn't bad. Clearly, Tick Tock's specialty is breakfast, not dinner. Rating: 2.5/5. For Day 2 breakfast, I had (scrambled) eggs with hash browns, two sausages and two slices of toast. (The vouchers called the hash browns "potatoes".) Wife had waffles with two sausages. According to her, the waffles tasted like flour and eggs than real waffles. For beverage, everyone was provided with a tall glass of water and a small glass of orange juice. The waiter misunderstood the order for coffee and brought two cups when we specifically requested one. Since Wife didn't drink coffee, that extra cup was mine. My order had a generous portion size, so much so that I still felt full at lunchtime. Like Day 1's dinner, the food was served plain without any seasonings, giving a bland taste. Thankfully, excess pepper compensated for that. Comparatively speaking, IHOP's version of the order was better. However, it was good enough for me to order it again for Day 6 breakfast. Score: 3/5 For Day 3 breakfast, I had Greek omelet with hash browns and tea. The omelet had tomatoes and sour cheese. The portion size was almost as large as Day 2 breakfast's order. I didn't like the strong taste of sour cheese, which made this the worst of the breakfast experiences. Score: 2.5/5 For Day 4 breakfast, I had western omelet with hash browns and tea. It was served at the same portion size as Day 3's Greek omelet but with more ingredients - such as bell peppers, onions and ham – and tastier. It was the best of the breakfast orders, so much so that I ordered it again for Day 5 breakfast. Score: 4/5 Of the four entrees, eggs with hash browns, sausages and toasts had the largest portion size, while steak with onion rings had the smallest. In terms of taste, western omelet was the best and Greek omelet was the worst. Service was consistently good, and the booths had sufficient legroom and comfort. Every time we were there, the TVs were set to local news but the muted sound level was conducive to making ourselves heard. Tick Tock was never crowded during all our visits. In all the breakfast visits, we showed up before 8am and were immediately escorted to our tables. Not once did we ever had to wait. I'm glad that all the meals were covered by the tour program. If it was up to me, I wouldn't visit Tick Tock Diner, or wouldn't come back after the first visit. For what it was worth, it was alright.

great experience! my friend and I ate here before phoebe bridgers at MSG on 7/4. we sat at a high top and just had apps and drinks. was surprised that the bavarian pretzel was actually just three soft pretzel rods, but honestly appreciated because it was way easier to eat that way. really decent prices for midtown, and conveniently located for MSG event-goers. would come back here before a show!!! tvs played sports. we had EXCELLENT service. I did not catch our server’s name, but he was very attentive without being overbearing. perfect balance!

This is definitely an Irish pub and a NY Rangers hangout being across from MSG. I liked the atmosphere as we were there on an off night. The service was great. I like that we had a bottle of water at our table. My daughter was relieved that her Guinness was poured correctly (even in an Irish bar, the little Irish tempest will reach over and pour it herself to make sure it is correct). She had the Shepherds pie and it was perfection. I had fish and chips. One of my pieces wasn't great. I don't know what happened to it. It seemed like it was more mush. My other piece was nice and flakes. We skipped dessert. My daughter had another Guinness and I had a Baileys. Would I come here again? Yes.

This was our first stop after we left our hotel near Madison Square Garden. The service was kinda slow, but they were busy. We shared an order of fish n chips, and it was amazing. It had nice and crispy batter, and they had proper chips. The tarter sauce was good also. We shared an order of pretzel sticks, and the honey mustard was so good. This is definitely a place we will be trying again before we leave Manhattan.

7/10/24 Had not be here for some time. But went for lunch today with a friend. Sally our waitress greeted us with a beautiful smile and was very friendly and great! Ambiance food deco music is really nice. Thank you for making our stay a good one. Went to Tír na Nóg for the first with a friend. It was not empty there were only two servers. Food was good, Ambience was nice. Service was slow. When we finished we had to wait because one server was on the business call and the other on the other side attending others customers. When I signaled her to pay she signaled back so that I could get the attention of the server that was on the phone. So, I signaled both of them. I was a bit disappointed with the service. But, we try it another time to see if the service is better.

We didn't realize until after we booked a reservation that this is inside Macy's. However - it was delicious! Our server was very attentive and friendly, the food came out quickly and was really good. A few of us split a margarita pizza, calamari, and the burrata & asparagus salad and we loved it all. The cocktails were also fantastic!

Travelled from Athens, Greece to NY two weeks ago. Not for the first time. Nice food, beautiful view (Empire State building nearby, One Vanderbilt), yet not crowded. Minimal, light-color decoration. Last but also important: polite, accomodating staff. Jacklyn is a very good server! 👏

A friend introduced me to Stella restaurant. An Italian restaurant with a huge beautiful marble bar and view of the Empire State Building on top of Macys department store?! Yes, please! This peaceful restaurant is a wonderful respite from the crowdedness of the street below. I come here frequently and the bartender Saleem is always attentive and friendly. The food is excellent with homemade pastas and brick oven pizzas. I’m not a salad person but I love the ones here. I’ve taken family and friends here. We are always seated immediately and usually with a view. They consider this an “insiders spot” and who am I to argue?

Great atmosphere and excellent service! We really enjoyed the food quality and the overall vibe of the place. However, a few pricing issues held it back: the fried calamari appetizer was a very small portion for the price, and charging nearly the same price as the dish just to add chicken or steak to the nachos—bringing them close to $30—is a bit ridiculous. Also, $4.50 for a soda felt steep. Solid spot, but the upcharges for basic add-ons are definitely excessive.

Went during a basketball game, Great food! Well presented meals, waiter was very friendly and helpful! Thank you Sean! The only hicup was the hostess, she denied my entry in assumption I was only there to watch the game. After I asked twice to a second to another hostess, if I can be seated to have dinner, she seemed clearly annoyed, side chatted in front of the guest,very unprofessional and lack of hospitality Aside from this, it was a pleasent experience.

Pulled up after a hockey game at MSG. Excellent location in midtown for a meal/drink pre-event or post-event after the garden. We were seated within 5 minutes. I was concerned, given the crowd after a game, that service would be slow. That was the opposite. We were given menus and seen by a server all within 2 minutes of being seated. The full sleeve of sliders, wings, and disco fries had my table watering over the savoriness. Washed it down with some cocktails to cap the night. 9.7/10

Happened upon the place several years ago when walking by and looking for a place to eat, the owners recognised my accent and they knew where I was from! Food, beverages and staff have all been 5 star on my many visits to Mustang Harry's!

From the time we entered we were welcomed by a fine gentleman didnt get his name. He sat us told us when we were done he would see us to the door for MSG. We finished early and had to wait to get in. We sat outside he gave us water and sent one of his girls out to tell us we should come back in to use the door. He took such good care of us. Food was delish. John was our waiter.. excellent. Then we saw JBJ concert. So thank you to that nice caring man. So sorry I didn’t get his name

The appetizers were good (BBQ Shrimp, Calamari) however all of our steaks were over cooked. So if you ordered medium rare, you got a medium. I ordered medium and got a mostly well done steak…which ruins it. The steak is supposed to be the star of the show. The frustrating part is I made a great medium stake at home the night before. So to come out and pay $90 for a steak to be overcooked spoiled the experience a bit. Especially at a Steakhouse. I’m expecting the temperature to be accurate if you ask me “how would you like your steak”. The staff didn’t check to see how our entrees came out either. Besides that…everything else was good. The old fashions were great (I had 2).

The atmosphere was great. Took my Beautiful Girlfriend there for Valentine’s Day. The food was good and we were surprised that the bill only came up to only $160 . We decided to tip about 22% which is $35 so in total I spent $195.

Nick + Stef's is an excellent steak house. Even though I dined as part of a large group we were still very well attended to. My steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare and my wife really enjoyed her salmon as well. The sides were excellent as well. However, what I didn't I expect was for the vanilla cheesecake that was served for dessert to be the best example of the dish that I've ever enjoyed. We had planned on passing on dessert and checking out another local spot, but there was no need to do that after what we received. If you're in NYC and looking for a great non-chain steakhouse, it's hard to go wrong with Nick + Stef's. If you enjoy your meal early enough, you could also swing right next door and catch a Knicks game too.

Long line but moves quick and fast. This might be my 2nd time being here and it's still great. The bagel is huge, like they say almost the size of a kids face. I wanted a breakfast but it was lunch time when I got here. Bagel was great and huge. I only finished half and I took the half back to my hotel for dinner. Definitely worth the price for two meals (lunch + dinner) under $15. Seats were already taken but a block away, i remember there was public seats on Herald Square. I did the same awhile back many years ago. I can't believe i still remember it but for those who wants to enjoy their bagels there like i did. NYC is always a vibe. I love it here 🫶🏽

When I tell you this is the best bagel I have ever had I mean that, I visited New York about 7months ago and when I tell you I think about this bagel2-3 times a day I mean that. I didn’t know the name of this place and just spent 20min looking for it in my Google Maps to just look at it and be reminded of the experience I had there. We had to sit outside because there were no tables but that meant NOTHING to me because the second I took a bite of this bagel every worry I had melted away. I’m not being dramatic it was so so good. I am planning on coming back to New York and I’m booking my hotel in relation to this place IM NOT JOKING when I say this is better and significantly cheaper then other more “mainstream” places especially for the amount of food you’re getting. I am a 18-year-old girl who truthfully could care less about Google reviews. I understand how much they can help with business and that is why I am leaving this review because I would rather die then book another trip to New York and this bagel place not be there. Trust me I will go into millions of dollars of debt and buy this place myself before I let it close down. Don’t miss this place guys go and get this bagel. There’s millions of options to choose from the people that work. There are so nice and the food is so good. Thank you for your time. That is all.

We had a great experience at Best Bagel & Coffee. The location is excellent, and the service was impressively quick considering how packed the place was. We tried one bagel with salmon and one with eggs, and both were delicious, fresh, and very satisfying. A great spot for breakfast or a quick meal, especially if you want a tasty bagel without spending too much time waiting. Highly recommended!

Best bagels I've ever had! This place is the GOAT when it comes to NY bagels. There are no bad bagel options on the menu. All of NY seems to know about this place, as there is often a line outside and it's rare to not see the place packed. It takes a long time but strictly because of how popular it is. They are a well oiled machine in there between taking your order/paying and getting you your food, so they do the best they can. There are a few small tables to dine in but again, it's always packed so don't expect to get one. If you have the time it's definitely worth it.

Definitely got the New York experience here! We came around 8:30 AM and there was already a line, but honestly, lining up with everyone first thing in the morning gave me that New York vibe right off the bat. I ordered an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, lox, tomato, capers and red onion, while my husband got the SoHo on an everything bagel. Even with the lineup, service was surprisingly quick and the line moved fast. Both bagels were really good, fresh and generously filled. As expected, though, they are very heavy and filling! I could only finish half of mine and saved the rest for later. A great first breakfast in NYC and definitely worth trying if you want that classic New York bagel experience. 5/5 for us!

We went to DK's before the Knicks game on a Saturday night. The food, owner, staff, and atmosphere were amazing. We started with an old-fashioned for me and an espresso martini for my wife. For starters, we both ordered the sweet potato puree soup with creme fraiche. For the main course, my wife had the sea bass, and I had the salmon. We shared the apple tart for dessert, and it was the perfect ending to a fantastic dining experience. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was outstanding! This will be our regular dining spot before all MSG events!

I haven't been to DK in 10 years, but happy to report it's still a place where you can get an amazing steak with a side in under 100$ Just don't make the same mistake as me, and start eating the steak as soon as it comes out. Let it rest a bit, it will get even better. I also forgot that if you order ribeye in US, you will get a huge piece. Highly recommended!

absolutely incredible, never had anything like it. A bit on the pricy side but definitely worth it. A lot of variation in different dishes as we had a seafood tower as a starter, a big steak with fries and asparagus and a chocolate cake. All perfectly done. Also the waiters are very nice and like to make small talk.

Ate here for the first time prior to a game at MSG. Meal was outstanding. Service was excellent. Good feel to the place. Owner were there and very friendly and welcoming. Very good dinner though. Menu had a nice variety to it with plenty of seafood options. Will be back!
