I’ve live my life working in New York City! I always pass by this place going to work almost every single day! I’ve dreamt of having to dine here with my family.
Until the other day, got a chance to have a dinner with my BFF - well first the surroundings is pretty much decent outside, inside dine in is just normal. Too bad the second roof area closed.
The bar tender serve my bloody orange with strong kick with too much rum or vodka, which is not impressing unlike the drink i got my Blossom restaurant. So I rated the cocktail drink (2/5 for $22) is a bit too much!
Let’s rate the Seafood Pasta (5/5) for the price is reasonable, it is big portion to share on of at least 3 people, so I would order that for my family.
When it comes to Lamb Chops wow!!! I would say you nailed it, who ever the Chef making it I would rate 10/10. Lamb is my favorites…whenever I dined in the finest restaurant, if lamb is in the menu, I always want to try…
Additionally, the customer care is exceptional!!! very flexible to their customer.

Nestled in the heart of Bryant Park, this restaurant offers a perfect blend of convenience, charm, and culinary excellence. The ambiance is inviting, the service impeccable, and the food was outstanding. I had for the Cobb Salad, a beautifully presented dish with fresh, well-balanced ingredients and a generous portion size. Our server was the perfect balance between attentiveness and discretion, ensuring a seamless dining experience. As we enjoyed our meals, the picturesque view of the park added to the atmosphere. Without a doubt, this is a place we would return to.

I have passed by this restaurant several times and had to check it out. The location alone was worth it. Right in the corner of Bryant Park. We were seated outside in the clear tent so we could take in the view of the park. The twinkle lights added a special effect to the experience. Dinner was excellent, the salmon was cooked to my liking and served with plenty of vegetables. A nice serving size.
Soup and salad were flavorful and fresh. I especially loved the bread and butter.
Server was friends, answered our questions, and very attentive. I love this place! A must visit.

I loved this place. First of all the staff was incredibly friendly and the food was top notch. The fried cauliflower sits on this sauce that is to die for. The mocktail was phenomenal. Seating was plentiful. Great ambiance.

A real winner in midtown, whether for a corporate expense account lunch (it's pricey) or a romantic date night. Buzzy businessy bar scene, elegant large dining room with picture windows overlooking Bryant Park and a well heated tent overlooking the spring park plantings. We went in jeans and hoodies so they sat us in the tent with several other tourists, but the meal was equally good. Had grilled duck in a balsamic glaze with cherries and a creamy polenta. Skipped the crab cakes and the Moroccan lamb skewers with dips, and went straight to a quinoa platter with roast vegetables. As good as the duck! Had delicious Blackberry Mojitos too.

This is my first review ever and I’ve been in the industry for 25 plus years. I have been in center of the plate food sales for the past 10 years, and an Executive Chef for 14 years in different parts of the country. I have dropped a dime on dinner numerous times knowing everything that goes on from sourcing the product, costs, to the food runners responsibilities when bringing the dishes I’ve ordered. From the moment I walked into STK, I fell in love with the ambiance and vibe, which is what I expected from viewing the website and menu. I can say the food was excellent, atmosphere was amazing, but the service just didn’t meet the standards the price tag called for. I still auto tipped 22% in which my total bill was almost $400, and my wife and I did not have any drinks. Oysters did not have utensils and lack of detail and attention to us left us eating the other apps while we waited 20 minutes for two little spoons. At least they were on ice! Our server was knowledgeable of the food and menu itself, but we didn’t see him much or the trainee who was shadowing him. Overall I loved our experience, but other than a 12 top right next to us, there were only 2 other tables in the “dinner section” at 3:30 PM on a Saturday. I would definitely go back as there was just not room for any more food. Sometimes we have bad days too.
Sincerely Michael

Absolutely incredible experience at STK Steakhouse! We started with the burrata, which was fresh and delicious. The bread they bring out is unbelievable — served with chive oil and blue cheese butter, it’s seriously addictive. For the main course, we shared the tomahawk steak, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, along with potato gratin, mashed potatoes, and seasonal vegetables. Every dish was spot on. Service was attentive and the atmosphere had a great vibe. A true 5-star experience — can’t wait to come back!

Came here for an intimate birthday dinner with my partner. Our server , the beautiful Kayla was warm and very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us the perfect suggestions. The food, music , ambience and service were stellar. Both my partner and I agree that this was hands down one of the most enjoyable evenings we’ve ever had. Thank you Kayla! We’ll definitely be returning to this location.

I LOVED my first time at The Lambs Club! It’s the classic old-school Manhattan experience done right. The food and service far exceeded my expectations. I had the white asparagus soup and carbonara and both were sensational (it’s hard to find a proper carbonara anywhere these days, but they nailed it). One of the few Theatre District staples that lives up to the hype; can’t recommend it highly enough!

My daughter made reservations for three of us on the recommendation of a friend. We were seeing & Juliet nearby and I was a bit anxious, having read some of the recent reviews. Let me preference by noting that I do not give high scores easily. However, every single Experience of our dinner was a 10 out of 10. Our waiter Sudip Asked us whether we were seeing a show and kept tabs on the time. He was very attentive, but not too attentive if you know what I mean. A true professional in every sense Our meals, the atmosphere and the service were exceptional. I will absolutely return and highly recommend my friends eat here as well.

Wanted a nice fancy meal before a Broadway show and found lambs club. The service was fantastic, as well as the drinks. The food was tasty but not amazing and for the price a bit disappointing. The steak was good but the sauce lacked, and the potato was quite small, being smaller than the onion! The desert was quite in my taste with a berry jelly.

I L-O-V-E Koi New York! Koi made my birthday dinner so very special, which unexpectedly coincided with the restaurant’s 20th birthday too! Regardless, this is my absolute favorite restaurant ever! Impeccable service, amazingly delicious food and desserts, and beautiful atmosphere… every visit is truly memorable! My favorite dish, you ask? The Black Miso Cod with the green beans, but the Skirt Steak and Fried Rice ain’t shortstopping either 🤤

Pros: Great atmosphere, beautiful restaurant great for casual drinks or a romantic date. Service was solid. Attentive servers and staff. Folded my napkin when I got up, changed my plates often, etc. Was able to get a reservation right away on a Friday night. The restaurant wasn't very full by 7:30. Food was very nicely plated.
Cons: Food was mediocre and egregiously overpriced for the quality. I DO NOT mind paying for quality here in NYC. But honestly, this seemed like a trap for lost tourists in Bryant Park.
- Spicy tuna crispy rice: tuna looked old and greasy and the rice was stale unfortunately. Flavor was fine but uninspiring
- Dragon roll: baked crab made me feel sick while eating it. But that was just me. My partner enjoyed it. Though it was unexceptional.
- Miso cod: fine. Tasted like cod with miso with some vegetables on the side. Not noticeably fresh and a bit average.
Overall I wouldn't come back for the food. Maybe if they had a lunch special since I work across the street. I'd maybe come back for some drinks with friends.

Food was great—sushi & entrees were delicious. For starters and shared plates, we ordered the Kobe Style Potstickers, all flavors of the Koi Crispy Rice, and Salmon Carpaccio. Lobster tacos were good, but didn’t stand out to me. For entrees, we ordered the Roasted Duck Breast, Miso Bronzed Black Cod, and and Grilled Lamb Chops. All tasted great, but I think my favorite was the duck breast. Our server was great, he kindly asked if we wanted them to cut up the lamb for us & they did a fantastic job cutting it into pieces so the whole table was able to easily share it. For sushi, we ordered the signature Northern Lights Roll, Double Tuna Roll, Hamachi Yuzu, and classic roll I forgot the name of. My favorite was the hamachi yuzu roll! It was a Thursday night so it was super packed and pretty hectic. I also wished we had gotten a bigger table for 6 people because I felt squished in a small booth table.

Very popular for business dinners and date nights. Excellent roll selection. Good choices of Japanese beers, sakes, and mixed drinks. Waitstaff is very helpful. At a business dinner, we had the staff bring recommendations after we explained our preferences, and the overall meal was terrific. The double tuna roll was a favorite. The mochi was okay, a bit to hard and dry inside but still fun as it was cut for the table to enjoy.

Recommended by a colleague, Koi did not disappoint. I dined with a group of friends and shared a couple of appetizers and rolls. Our waitress' recommendations were spot on. To start, she recommended the Koi Crispy Rice and the Edamame Dumplings. The Koi Crispy Rice is one of their most popular dishes, prepared with spicy tuna on a crispy rice base. It was outstanding. We also ordered the Grilled Skirt Steak, the Northern Lights roll, the Hamachi Yuzu Rolls, and the sweet chili shrimp roll. The Hamachi Yuzu was a standout roll, the tuna just melts in your mouth.
The service was outstanding, our waitress was highly attentive but not overbearing. The waitstaff kept the table clean and bussed. The ambiance was warm an enjoyable too. Definitely high on my list to revisit the next time I'm in Manhattan.

Been wanting to come here for a since they moved a couple of years ago. Their old space, now called Chili, has a lot of the same dishes. My favorite there is Mr and Mrs Smith. Curiously named, I thought, until I came to Cafe China and saw the exact same dish called Husband and Wife Special.
Instead I ordered the smoked tofu cold dish. Lots of spicy oil and numbing peppercorns. Could use some more peanuts and scallions in the dish but still tasty.
The Spicy Fish was fried, and comes with lots of dried red peppers, cilantro and 2 limes. Delicate flavor and lightly fried.
The tea program is on point. This oolong tastes like a 2nd batch from a high mountain plantation. Very good

I’ve been coming to Café China for years, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently great. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever ordered something I didn’t like here.
The scallion pancakes, in particular, were a standout on my most recent visit — perfectly crispy, flaky, and packed with flavor.
Overall, just a reliably great spot that continues to deliver.

Delicious and filling! Would go back.
We had a reservation and were promptly seated. Ordering was smooth, drinks were delicious, food flavorful and filling, and service was attentive. Since it’s family style, the split among four people landed us about ~$30-50 before tip. Space is pretty big for the location but you need a reservation for most days since it’s smack middle of midtown. Highly recommend!

Favorite Chinese restaurant by far!! My Chinese friend brought me here for the first time because of its authentic Chinese cuisine. It’s not Americanized if you will. Simple decor, very attentive service and delicious, wide selection menu. While my company enjoyed many meat dishes, I am vegetarian and had plenty of options to select from as well. Definitely recommend. Restaurant has multiple floors, nice bar and clean bathroom.

I got the spicy beef noodle soup and the dumplings in chili oil. I thought the soup was decent. I would have preferred it spicer and there wasn't a ton of beef in it. The broth wasn't super rich, but still had decent flavors. One of my favorite things about the soup were the pickled(?) bamboo shoots. It was actually probably my favorite thing in the soup! The dumplings were really good! The chili oil was another star of the meal and I ended up added some into my soup for more spice and flavor.

Szechuan Gourmet is a long-standing Sichuan restaurant, and its decor and atmosphere reflect its storied history. Initially, I was concerned it might lean towards Americanized “Sichuan” cuisine, but after tasting the food, I was pleasantly surprised by its authenticity.
The presentation of each dish is thoughtful, showing the restaurant’s effort to stay visually appealing and up-to-date. The cold appetizer, Garden Diced Chicken in Spicy Sauce, features tender chicken immersed in rich red oil that enhances the flavor without being overly spicy. However, the chicken itself was a bit loose in texture and could have been firmer. The Beef with Silky Tofu is a bold, spicy hot dish, perfect for pairing with rice. Although the flavors are spot on, the beef itself was rather ordinary.
The Trotter Soup, unfortunately, didn’t impress me. The broth lacked depth and authenticity, missing the herbal notes typically associated with traditional Sichuan soups, and the dipping sauce was just basic doubanjiang, adding little to the experience.
The biggest highlight was the Roasted Chili Spiced Broth (Mao Xue Wang). This dish stood out due to its impressive variety of ingredients—fish, pork intestine, luncheon meat, beef tripe, and vegetables—all served in a beautifully designed vessel. The sheer diversity of ingredients makes it one of the most abundant versions of Mao Xue Wang I’ve had, and I highly recommend it.
Overall, while Szechuan Gourmet has some areas for improvement—such as a more coordinated serving order and slightly higher-quality meats—the flavors are genuine. For a restaurant with such a long history, it’s commendable that they’ve maintained a level of authenticity in their Sichuan dishes. A satisfying experience overall.

Szechuan Gourmet never disappoints! The flavors are truly authentic—every bite bursts with that signature numbing spice, yet balanced enough to savor every dish. The service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance strikes a perfect blend of modern comfort and traditional charm. A must-try for anyone seeking the real taste of Sichuan in NYC.

The food is great, might be the most authentic Szechuan food you can get in Manhattan. I'm allergic to mushrooms and the waiter checked multiple times to make sure our foods do not include any mushrooms.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Seafood and Atmosphere!
My friend and I visited the Red Lobster at Times Square while on a trip from Montreal, and it was amazing! The location is perfect, right in the heart of NYC, which gave us an exciting vibe as soon as we walked in. The seafood was fresh and delicious—especially the lobster and shrimp dishes!
Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The famous Cheddar Bay Biscuits were a highlight, and we kept asking for more. It was a fun and memorable experience, and we both felt it was the perfect spot for a seafood feast while exploring the city.
Highly recommend for anyone visiting Times Square who wants great seafood and a lively atmosphere

I’d been to Red Lobster many times in Florida, Colorado, and recently at Time Square, NYC. Everything here was yummy as always. My favorites are the bacon wrapped sea scallops and of course “the garlic butter lobster”. Will visit again whenever I crave for good seafood.

The food is really really good. The lobster linguini is also so delicious but costs 30$. The service was also somewhat questionable, since there were 3 floors in this restaurant, our waters did not get refilled once. Most likely have to request for refill. they did give free scones at the start of the meal though, and we were seated as soon as we got there which was very helpful.

We experienced a great meal with tasty lobster with nice staff. No rush with a bill on the table directly after you swallowed your last bite of food. Food was great and the drinks were very nice. My hands were very sticky so I asked if I could use the shower to clean myself, staff have never heard this before and laughed out loud. I can recommend this restaurant if you visit New York!

This is my first time visiting the restaurant, and I’m already enjoying both the food and the atmosphere. Like typical Indian cuisine, the dishes are flavorful and delicious. I especially love the bread—it’s chewy and tender. It’s a self-serve spot, and you can choose to dine in or take your food to go; there’s a seating area in the back.

I love this place. Visited from out of town in 2018 originally and have talked about it since then, so we had to go back. It was just as good as I remembered! The chicken tikka roll has so much flavor, and the pan-fried chicken momos were tasty, too.

Kati Roll place on 39th Street, right next to a Sichuan spot we often go to, might seem hidden but the long line says otherwise. My Indian friend introduced me to it two years ago, praising its authenticity. It truly feels genuine—you know it’s the real deal when you’re the only foreigners in the crowd!
The cooks whip up rolls in an open kitchen that’s super clean, and you can watch everything they do. We tried the unda paneer roll and the shami kebab roll, along with mango lassi and masala chai. The unda paneer was a bit of a miss for us, maybe we’re just not used to the authentic flavors yet, but the shami kebab was tasty. My son absolutely loved the lassi, and I enjoyed the chai of the right level of tea and milk flavor.

A really good place to grab some handheld lunch in midtown. The overall shop is a bit small and can get hot in the summer, but it usually smells amazing with the authentic spices that they use on all their rolls. It can be a bit pricy, but the rolls are very filling even without meat. They also serve their own Chips and drinks like lassi. Due to the bulk of their orders, please do have some patience when it is lunch rush.
Yani Ed - 3 months ago
I can’t stress enough how incredible this food is—you have to experience it firsthand. You won’t regret it! The rolls are small but packed with hearty, flavorful fillings and wrapped in a perfectly cooked paratha. I had the Chicken Tikka Roll (9/10), Aloo Masala Roll (8/10), and Shami Kabob Roll (9.5/10), all of which were delicious, though a yogurt sauce would have been perfect to balance the spiciness. Come for lunch—it’s very busy, but the line moves quickly. There isn’t much seating as most people are picking up, but the outstanding food and efficient service make it absolutely worth visiting!

Let me start by saying that the food was pretty good and flavourful but the service on the other hand was really bad. One of the server was obviously drunk and wasn’t paying attention to the customer. Took him more than 10 mins to take our empty plate. At the end we ask for the bill and after 15 mins we still haven’t received our bill another server had to give it to us cause the first one obviously forgot and was to busy talking and taking shot with his friends.

Nice cute bar. Went in here for a drink and a quick snack before our show started. Greeted by a friendly server who went above and beyond to give us our order in a timely manner.
I had the margarita (think it was strawberry) and my friend had the passion drink. The frites were amazing and that mayo was out of this world.
Will definitely be back again

Their coffee was delicious (also has a kick to it) and comes with complimentary refills. Their tasty oatmeal is unquestionably the best in the Times Square and surrounding area, it is at its best before 8:00 a.m, they open at 7. They will serve it with warm milk on the side if asked to. At breakfast, their scrambled eggs came with room temperature home fries on two different dines there. For lunch there I have had their chicken soup which was decent, the broth's flavor was mild. Their hamburger ($14.95) was very ordinary, was dry, and had little flavor. It was cooked well done even though I ordered it cooked medium. They offer a 5% discount for cash payment, remind the cashier if she forgets, that has happened twice to me.

A true American diner, middle of Times Square reminded me of the time I lived in states. Never ending menu. Fast service. Coffee refills! And my favorite cheddar and crunchy onion omelette! We had our breakfast 3 out of the 5 mornings here at NYC!

This is the very typical and quintessential diner experience. A diner shouldn't be overly opulent or nice, neither is this one. It's the perfect blend of Old world diner aesthetic, friendly staff, huge menu etc. The French toast, lattes, and eggs benedict were excellent. But excellent in that way like good Chinese food or good Mexican food shouldn't be gourmet and that's what you expect. I love the place we'll be back!
