This was my first time dining at Bryant Park Grill, and it was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, the experience exceeded expectations.
Our server Lena was a darling: attentive, warm, and made sure everything was perfect. We started with the jumbo lump crab cake and salad, which was fresh and flavorful. My friend had the cashew-crusted salmon (he swapped the potatoes for asparagus, great choice!), and I had the pan-roasted branzino, cooked to perfection. The blackberry nojito seltzer was a hit! We ended the evening with a chocolate brownie and vanilla ice cream that was the perfect sweet touch.
Despite the buzz of the city around us, the atmosphere felt calm and intimate. A little oasis right in the heart of it all. I guess when you have an amazing date and great food, nothing else really matters 😊
Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

We had a nice meal, seated in the covered patio. Temperature was nice and the holiday decor was so nice for early November event. Our server Jose was very attentive and nice. Lots of options for all food restrictions vegan, veggie etc. We will definitely be back!

One of my favorite places to take visitors for a NY brunch. The main attraction is of course the wonderful Bryant Park location
Chill in the park before leisurely heading to Bryant Park Grill to eat ! If you want to sit inside then a reservation is necessary with a phone call and a confirmation via text day of.
The indoor seating was spacious and classy with friendly service.
The food is about what you expect. Not great but not bad either.

A spacious and very pleasant restaurant, in a quiet location opposite Bryant Park, with a magnificent terrace for sunny days. The food is easily among the best in New York, and the service is very friendly, warm, and attentive (thanks to René!).
I highly recommend it! A very good place to eat.
I took the opportunity to continue reading my feel-good thriller Honesty Bar, which I found on Amazon (in English and French)—a plot for the whole family set in Paris, Warsaw, and the Seychelles!💕

This was my first time at this wonderful establishment. Arrived with no reservations on a Friday night with my best friend and we were seated within 5 min in a very quaint area. (NYASIA) was our server and she was extremely professional, knowledgeable and pleasant! Her recommendations were ALL ON POINT!! She checked on us just enough but not overly. The delicious good arrived fast, hot and well seasoned.
It was a great experience for me and my bestie said she has never been disappointed with any of her visits there!
Thank you for an AMAZING CULINARY EXPERIENCE 💙‼️💯

We stopped in for happy hour on a Thursday afternoon. I love that happy hour starts at 2:30 and the menu was so plentiful. With the exception of the hostess who was really welcoming, service was a miss. While waiting for the lounge tables to be prepped, we sat at the bar with one other couple. The bartender dropped off a menu but never returned. After waiting 15-20 minutes we decided to move to the lounge area. Although we were the first seated, the two parties who arrived after us were able to place orders and recieve their meals before us. Weird. The atmosphere was comfortable and chic. Our drinks were amazing. Which made the bites even better. In ranking order, we ordered the Corn & Crab fritters, Wagyu Meatballs, Short Rib Quesadilla, STK & fries, Lil' Big & Truffle Fries (slider was over cooked for its size) , and popcorn chicken (the meat was not appealing). I would recommend and return. Hoping to experience better service.

Tonight was a major turn around in every way to the wonderful waitress Alicia who was very attentive recommended excellent dishes to the delicious food and wonderful staff who was extremely friendly! Visited STK with a friend on my last night in the city. I was pleasantly surprised at the music 🎶 I heard coming out of the restaurant. It was a nice vibe. In the lobby of the restaurant they have a nice lighted signage and a stand that takes your picture. That is so cute to me. The waiter was cool. The vibes and food were great. I would definitely attend again.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful breakfast at The Lambs Club. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The service was top notch — the staff were warm, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect without ever being intrusive. The food was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The coffee was strong and perfectly brewed, just the way a morning should start.
The atmosphere truly sets The Lambs Club apart — from the elegant furniture to the historic photos on the walls, every detail exudes character and sophistication. You can feel the rich history of the place paired seamlessly with genuine hospitality.
A perfect breakfast experience in every way — highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and refined start to their day.

Absolutely delightful dinner at the Lambs Club NYC 🥰
The lamb (as expected) was exquisite. I also had the steak tartar with caviar. I have not had caviar in a while, so that was such a treat! 🥰
Special thanks to Lydia who has been very attentive and accommodating. Definitely a five-star experience!

Our reservation was at 7pm and was able to get seat on time. The staff were friendly and helpful. Once we ordered, food came in decent time. The duck was tender and melts in your mouth. The scallops were delicious but too creamy for my taste. Otherwise we enjoyed the food and experience.

This restaurant felt like a sexy scene out of a movie, or something you’d experience in Palm Springs. The fireplace is inviting, the leather “diner” seating felt luxurious not campy, and overall the restaurant was quiet enough to have a conversation without shouting (on a Wednesday night at 8 pm). The service made me feel like a celebrity and the food was impeccable. 10/10!

I had an amazing experience dining here, and a huge part of that was thanks to our waitress, Jayy. From the moment we sat down, she was incredibly attentive, responsive, and on point with everything we needed. She checked in at the perfect times, kept our drinks filled, and made sure we were comfortable without ever hovering.
The food was absolutely fire — fresh, flavorful, and came out exactly how we ordered it. On top of that, the music set the perfect vibe, making the whole experience even better.
Jayy’s energy and professionalism really elevated the night. If you come here, definitely ask for her. You won’t be disappointed!

This restaurant offers a warm, nautical-themed atmosphere with cozy booths and a welcoming staff. Manager Cindy ensures smooth service, while bartenders Dolly and Denise bring energy and friendliness behind the Bar Harbor Bar. The fresh lobster tank and maritime décor add charm, making it a great spot for seafood lovers. Spacious seating, both for groups and individuals, provides comfort. Overall, a pleasant dining experience with attentive service and inviting ambiance.

My visit to Red Lobster in Times Square was nothing short of excellent. Located right in the middle of New York City’s most famous square, the restaurant is just steps away from the flashing billboards and bustling crowds. As soon as I stepped inside, it felt like I had entered a different world – a calm and cozy escape from the noise outside. The seafood-themed décor, warm lighting, and comfortable seating immediately set the tone for a relaxing meal.
The service impressed me from the start. We were greeted with a warm smile, and our table was ready almost immediately. Despite the fact that the restaurant was busy, the staff managed everything so efficiently that we never felt like we had to wait. Our drinks arrived quickly, and before we knew it, our table was filled with fresh, steaming seafood dishes that looked and smelled incredible.
We had decided to order a variety of plates to share, and every single dish exceeded our expectations. The lobster was the highlight – perfectly cooked, with tender, sweet meat that melted in my mouth. It was served with butter that complemented its flavor beautifully. The fish was equally delicious, flaky, and seasoned to perfection. The fish and chips came with a golden, crispy coating that was light yet satisfying, and the fries were fresh, hot, and perfectly salted. The fried shrimp were crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside, without being greasy at all. The boiled shrimp were plump, flavorful, and cooked just right – simple, but full of that fresh seafood taste.
What made the experience even better was how attentive the staff were. They checked in at just the right moments – enough to make sure everything was perfect, but never in a way that interrupted our conversation or enjoyment. Our drinks were refilled promptly, and they made sure that everything on our table stayed clean and organized.
The atmosphere was surprisingly peaceful for a restaurant located in one of the busiest places in the world. Even though Times Square was right outside the window, inside it felt calm and comfortable. The tables were spaced well enough to give us privacy, and the background music was soft and pleasant. The entire dining area was clean and well-maintained, and the restrooms were spotless.
By the end of the meal, we were completely satisfied – not just because of the delicious food, but because the entire experience was smooth, relaxing, and enjoyable. For anyone visiting New York who loves seafood, I can’t recommend Red Lobster in Times Square enough. It offers a perfect combination of fresh, flavorful food, fast and friendly service, and a peaceful atmosphere in the heart of one of the most exciting places in the world. This is definitely a place I will come back to on my next trip to NYC

Be sure to ask for the vegan menu! It’s an actual separate menu & there are lots of options (starters, rolls, specialties, entrees, & sides) and do not miss the vegan dessert options! The smash sundae was SO GOOD!
We got the vegan scallops (made with daikon), the Garden cut roll (avo on top), the vegan dragon roll & edamame (not pictured). I was excited for the scallops and they were beautiful but they don’t taste fishy at all. I think they could add a bit more in that department slash good for those tho hate seaweed/fishy flavors. Garden roll was yummy and the dragon roll was my favorite. I loved the crunchies! Sriracha wasn’t listed on the ingredients tho and seemed to be drizzled underneath?
The real star of the show was the smash sundae. It look exactly the same as the non-vegan one so didn’t feel like we were missing out on certain components and was chocolatey goodness! Highly recommend checking this spot out near Bryant Park and good if you are dining with people who don’t eat vegetables 🤭

Really cool atmosphere and excellent service. Was here on a busy weekday afternoon after traveling in from out of town. Was expecting top tier quality food for midtown Manhattan. It honestly fell so short of my expectations as it was just ok with dry appetizers and sushi that was just meh. The prices reflected sushi that would have perfect rice and rich and bold flavors; unfortunately the reality was the opposite. The fact that their lunch specials were burgers kind of threw me off as I thought this was strictly a sushi restaurant. If this wasn't in one of the most competitive restaurant markets in the world I would give it another try but I don't think I will be back.

Stopped in here with my mom after a day in the city. The service was amazing, food is great, I can't wait to go back. Got a couple mocktails which were very refreshing. Everything was so fresh. Went downstairs to use the restrooms on the way out and there's a cool looking bar downstairs.

Delicious and fresh food - we've had a Himachi, a Crab Roll and Lobster Tacos.
We've also had Mochi balls for a sweet small bite.
Service was great and food was fresh and well seasoned.
The place could benefit from a redesign, though: the venue felt dated...
A good, though unremarkable, restaurant.

I recently visited Croton Reservoir Tavern in Manhattan with two friends and had a pleasant experience. I appreciated that the place was located on the first floor, making it easily accessible. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable, despite TVs displaying sports programs (they were on mute) and quiet background music. The sparsely populated venue allowed us to converse easily without having to raise our voices.
The staff were nice, polite, and friendly, contributing to the overall positive experience. The food menu wasn’t extensive, but it was adequate for a bar. The drink menu, on the other hand, was impressively long, featuring pages of various beverages. I particularly liked how the drinks were categorized by country, such as Japan, and separated into types like beer, gin, vodka, etc. Drinks were available both by the glass and by the bottle, which provided flexibility depending on your preference. The sizes of the glasses were standard. The prices were a bit on the high side, but that’s expected in Manhattan. My only gripe was with the high chairs and tables, which were uncomfortable for a shorter person like me. It would be great if they could add a few lower tables and chairs for more inclusivity.
Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would recommend Croton as a great spot to gather with friends or colleagues for a drink or a catch-up.

Looks like a typical cross town bar but has a great atmosphere and exceptionally well prepared food. Not a big menu but the selections provide for a nice lunch or an excellent dinner. Somebody in the kitchen is chef trained, a surprise in what you might think is just a small bar. Huge liquor selection and knowledgeable bartender.

I have been wanting to try this place for a very long time. finally pop in for a visit during lunch time on a weekday. it really exceeded my expectation. there are so many sichuan restaurants in NYC and it's already hard to top one another. but the food here is really unique and the service is a top notch. Love their old shanghai decor makes it cozy and quiet enough to be able to talk to each other without screaming. there are multiple floors even seats that best for solo as well.
The dish most wows me is the spicy soft shell crab. there are so much crab in it and loaded with flavor.
Tea Smoked Duck is very juicy with smoky taste.
Pork Dumplings in Chili Oil is one of the best flavor in NYC, it's very authentic taste with a little sweet and a little spicy.
the lucky cup sake is very easy to drink if you want to take advantage of their happy hour price for only $8
There are some lunch bento specials as well, if you are not a person to share. there are also plenty to choose from.

Authentic Szechuan food with a creative twist. Every dish we ordered was delicious and hit the spot with the right amount of spice and flavor. Surprisingly reasonably priced.
Even though we didn’t try the cocktails the menu and names looked definitely interesting.
Very cute and chic decor inside. The only downside is that it was very loud so we had to shout to each other throughout our meal.

We came for the braised pork with abalone, and it did not disappoint. The pork was fresh, tender, and perfectly balanced with just the right hint of sweetness. The abalone was delightfully tender and free of any fishy taste. The braised scallop was an unexpected highlight — paired with bamboo shoots and broccoli, it created a refreshing and flavorful combination. Even the watermelon at the end was pleasantly natural-tasting, not overly sweet. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we’d gladly come back again!

Came here mostly for their La Ma Ti Hua (老妈蹄花 pig trotter soup). This dish is unbeatable across Manhattan. The rest is decent as well, but not particularly impressive. Pretty solid traditional Szechuan cuisine, could be a bit spicier in my opinion, probably toned down to accommodate the general audience.
The fish and duck dishes are also great choices and I highly recommend anyone who hasn’t tried it give it a try here - they’re tender and flavorful, not too spicy and not too many bones. Worth giving it a shot

This is my no. 1 go to restaurant in midtown. I come often not only it closes to my office, and such friendly service, delicious food with affordable price in mid town is rare! I love to try new restaurants but I always come back to this one! They made me feel welcome all the times! Today, we ordered dry pot beef with griddle cook chili and cumin, braised fish fillet with cabbage and chili, Ming bean jelly salad, wok-tossed crispy lamb with chili cumin. These dishes have different spices and flavors, and perfectly combined together. I also recommend the water melon juice and the dessert. Again, they gave good impression to my friends from Taiwan and a Spanish guy new to Chinese cuisine. (Their food never disappointed me in a single time I went. I wish this restaurant will continuously doing great in the bad economic.)

Being originally from Kolkata—the birthplace of the kati roll—my standards for this dish are understandably high. I stopped by this spot on a weekend night, and the place was packed, with a line spilling out the door. After waiting quite a while, I finally got to order. The restaurant seemed heavily understaffed, with one person juggling both orders and wrapping rolls, while a few others worked in the back.
I ordered an anda chicken roll, which typically combines a paratha layered with fried egg, stuffed with chicken kebabs, onions, and seasonings. Unfortunately, this version fell short of the authentic Kolkata standard. The biggest letdown was the paratha—it seemed pre-made or frozen, thin, and lacking the signature flaky, layered crunch of a freshly rolled lachha paratha fried to crisp perfection. Since the paratha is the foundation of the roll, that missing texture made a big difference.
The chicken filling itself was decent, though not outstanding. The onions added some freshness, but the heavy use of green chutney was overwhelming. In Kolkata, rolls are usually finished more simply—with lemon, salt, pepper, and sometimes a touch of tomato and chili sauce. The chutney here made the flavor too one-dimensional, dominated by mint, without balance. The portion size also felt smaller than what you’d typically get back home.
That said, I do appreciate having the chance to enjoy a chicken roll in Manhattan, far from Kolkata. The concept is wonderful, and credit goes to the owner for bringing this comfort food here. But between the long wait, understaffing, and lack of care in preparation, the overall experience didn’t live up to its potential. With more attention to authenticity—especially the paratha—and a little more care in execution, this place could truly shine.

Recommend by many people, so we visited the place. I was amazed having kathi roll in New york.
I ordered achari panner roll, momos and chicken roll. I would say momos was really nice.
The roll was okayish as there was nothing achari in it. The filling was same for chicken roll as well. But the roll parantha was really authentic. The momo chutney was really like india momos chutney.
Overall a good place to visit!

After visiting Antwerp, Belgium, Vincent from Brasserie den Antigoon told me to visit a bar in New York City called BXL Café. So when I got back home, I made it a point to go. BXL Café has such a great vibe. It’s got that cool dive bar feel but with the charm and energy of a real Belgian spot. The space feels cozy and laid-back, the kind of place where you can just relax and hang out for a while without feeling rushed.
We came for the Monday night unlimited mussels special, which they also do on Sundays, and it did not disappoint. The special was $40 and worth every penny. The food was really good, and the mussels just kept coming. The beers were just as impressive. I had a few that brought me right back to Belgium, the same kind of flavors and vibe I got when I visited Brasserie den Antigoon in Antwerp.
The staff here made the whole experience even better. I met one of the managers and the bartender, and they were both awesome. Super friendly, easygoing, and full of laughs. It was one of those nights where you just sit back, have a good drink, laugh a lot, and forget about the stress of the day. I’ll definitely be back. 🍻🇧🇪

BXL is a go-to place for all occasions. It’s located in midtown Manhattan and easy to commute. We are the regulars here and we enjoy French-Belgian cuisine. We order steak frites which they serve with fries and salad. Their salad dressing is my favorite. We also order cheese balls and steak sandwich which is so juicy and served with caramelized onions. Their salad dressing staff is very attentive and friendly. They are happy to accommodate us with any requests.

I was looking for an open bar to have a manhattan in Manhattan and walk for several minutes until I came across a cozy place that was decked out in the color red. The door was open and I walked right into a welcoming place with excellent drinks. The owner was friendly and made a perfect manhattan! Decor was superb and ambiance was chill ! Highly recommend for anyone looking terrific drinks!

Walked in to BXL on a rainy day and was so happy we did! Absolutely amazing house BXL beer, our server Alfonso was great, and the food was incredible. Whether you're looking for a place to have a good beer, eat some fantastic food, or watch a futbol match, or do all 3 at once, this is your place! My wife and I shared the lamb sausage sandwich and fries and chicken wings and we could not have been more pleased! The menu had a wide selection and I think no matter what we ordered we would have been impressed!
