🍔 Quick, tasty, and full of little surprises!
We stopped by Shake Shack in the Theater District for a casual dinner — and it turned out to be a really great choice. The service was fast, and what’s nice is that they actually bring the food right to your table, which makes the experience more relaxed and enjoyable. 🙌
I ordered one of their classic burgers and was surprised by a fun little twist — crispy fried pickles in batter! 🥒✨ It was something different and added a nice crunch to the meal. Everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor.
There’s plenty of seating, which is a big plus in this area, and it didn’t feel cramped or noisy even during the dinner rush. Tables were clean, and the vibe was welcoming.
✅ Great for a quick bite before or after a Broadway show
✅ Fun menu twists (fried pickles, yes please!)
✅ Enough space to sit down and enjoy your meal
If you’re in Midtown and need a fast, delicious, and hassle-free dinner — I definitely recommend this location of Shake Shack! 🍟🍔

Classic American indulgence – in the heart of the Theatre District
Shake Shack in the Theatre District delivers exactly what you’d expect – juicy burgers, crispy fries and a cold beer to wash it all down. It's a full-on American calorie bomb, but if you're in the mood to treat yourself, this is the place. The atmosphere is casual and lively, perfect for a quick bite before or after a show. Just don't come here counting calories – this is unapologetic comfort food at its best.

Love their burgers! I always get them well done. They are nice and juicy and the best with lettuce tomato and onions. My baby had a mix of ice cream chocolate and vanilla with Oreo topping and he loved it. The staff was very accommodating attentive and friendly.

It was my first time trying Shake Shack. I did ask at the counter to help me decide the burger but was faced with I dont have time to help you make a choice…
However cheeseburger decision was very tasty

Decent food, but the place could really use a clean.
The burgers and chips were tasty as expected – classic Shake Shack quality. However, the inside of the restaurant was quite messy, with dirty tables and overflowing bins. It definitely took away from the overall experience. Shame, because the food itself was spot on.

I wasn’t aware this was a family style restaurant, which means massive portions meant for sharing
I had the lasagna and it was delicious, massive but delicious. I ended up giving half my lasagna to the table next to me.
I had the cheese cake and again that was unbelievably huge as well
I found everything to be reasonably priced given the portion sizes
The service was great, and the server took the time to give me great recommendations.
Highly recommended this dinning experience. If you’re going by yourself prepare to take leftovers with you.

Review – Carmine’s (Times Square, NYC)
Carmine’s is a classic Italian restaurant right in the heart of Times Square, and it’s absolutely a must-go if you’re in the area. The place has that old-school Italian charm —bustling, lively, and full of energy— perfect for groups or family-style dining.
The portions are enormous. Seriously, one dish can easily serve three to five people. We were two and ordered a lasagna, which could have fed four hungry diners without a problem. The flavors were rich and comforting, exactly what you’d expect from a great Italian spot.
The service is outstanding —friendly, efficient, and perfectly coordinated, even though the restaurant is huge and always busy. I’d recommend making a reservation, but even if you don’t, the staff handles everything very smoothly.
Prices are extremely reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes and location. We were so full we couldn’t even think about dessert —a rare thing!
📍 Conclusion:
Carmine’s is an NYC institution that delivers big flavor, big portions, and great service. Ideal for sharing and enjoying a true Italian-American dining experience.
⭐ Overall rating: 9.5/10
🍝 Best: massive portions and excellent service.
🍰 Worst: impossible to save room for dessert.
💸 Price: amazing value for Times Square.

We ventured here for lunch while on our trip to NYC. After doing a Google search, we decided upon this because I wanted authentic Italian food. I’m so glad we decided on this establishment. From the hosts to the server, Justin, to wait staff that assisted with our dishes, we were greeted with friendly faces and superior customer service. We had the lasagna and it was absolutely delicious. The portions are very generous and filling. The bread basket was filled with various types and all that we tried were tasty too! I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in the vicinity of it. If we happen to ever get back to NYC, we definitely will be back

Great food. Huge portions. Best if you are in a large group since each entree feed 3 people. We loved the calamari and chicken parmigiana. Very generous bread baskets. The titanic ice cream dessert was delicious. It’s a little loud so you have to speak loudly for conversation.

Would definitely encourage anyone visiting New York City to dine at Carmine’s-Times Square. Great food, service, and atmosphere. This was my first time dining at this restaurant. The restaurant came highly recommended. Make sure you understand they serve family size portions. I was part of a party of four and had enough food to serve six people.

We booked a table to watch the UFC fights on Saturday night. They have plenty of TVs. When we arrived, they sat us in front of one that wasn’t currently showing what we came for, and it took them 20-ish minutes to switch it over. By the time the main fights were on, almost every TV was playing UFC. Service was great. Food was okay. Of the two finger foods we ordered (Philly egg rolls and boneless wings), they were mildly overcooked, dry, and overpriced. You’re paying for the space, not the food.

Booked here to catch up with friends and grab some lunch before heading to the airport. This dinner had a great selection of drinks and hearty classics at good value. Would recommend the burgers and golden fingers. Great service from the staff with recommendations that we tried and enjoyed.

From the moment I walked in, this D&B in Times Square stood out. And I've been to many across states. It is spotless, vibrant, and one of the best-looking locations I’ve been to. When our server was delayed, Kenrick immediately noticed, stepped in without hesitation, and provided attentive, professional service that set the tone for the rest of our visit.
Desmond, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure our experience was flawless. He was friendly, approachable, and took the time to carefully walk me through the bill, answering every question with clarity and patience. His professionalism and leadership truly shine, and it’s clear he sets the standard for excellence here.
The combination of Desmond’s management and Kenrick’s attentive service made this visit memorable. I would recommend this D&B any day, especially with a team like this running the show. Outstanding people, outstanding service, and an overall wonderful experience.

A great place for $5.00 happy hour daily from 4:30 to 7:00 pm daily for five different type of drinks from a 22 ounce light beer to Long Island iced tea.
The floor area adjacent to the restaurant is for those who love to play a large variety of games for all adults and children.
I would have liked to see appetizers added to happy hour instead of filling in a receipt survey on the back of your bill payment.
This will get you a free $20.00 appetizer with purchase of a main menu item when you return.

This Dave & Buster’s is great! We came for my birthday party back in July and there was great service and food. Very good arcade atmosphere as well. We had to come back for fun because we had a few cards left over. Two employees named John and Kiari gave us great service and made our experience even better. It’s another plus that John’s a singer!

We got here when it was not busy at all. The first person we come in contact with was checking us in and asked for my phone number or first and last name so I decide to just put my phone number. I begin typing it and he decided to get mad and proceeded to get loud and tell me he asked for my name and not a phone number. I had three others in my group who heard him ask for a number. Do better. Don’t like your job then leave. Then we went to a second person who gave us a slip with my name and party amount. Then we went to a third person who took my ticket and sat us down. Why do you need three people just to get a seat?! Seems like a waste of money and time?? We finally got seated. Two other tables around us got seated after us and got drinks right away while we waited 20 minutes just to get a server. By time we got a server we had waited so long that we knew our orders and just did them with our drinks because we didn’t want to have to wait again. Our server was very friendly and helpful afterwards though. The food was pretty decent but you do pay NY prices.

We had such a great time at Hard Rock! Our server, Lanita, was absolutely phenomenal — super friendly, attentive, and made our visit so enjoyable. She checked on us often, made sure we had everything we needed, and had such a great attitude the whole time.
The food was amazing — we ordered wings, a burger, and a chicken sandwich, and everything was cooked perfectly. The flavors were spot on, portions were generous, and everything came out hot and fresh.
The whole experience was fun, upbeat, and full of great energy — exactly what you want from Hard Rock. Between the awesome food, fun atmosphere, and Lanita’s fantastic service, it was a 10/10 visit. We’ll definitely be back!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this iconic cafe. I can’t say I enjoyed the food and the queue for coffee was too long and they ran out regularly but I wouldn’t have missed the experience for the world. The memorabilia on display is so impressive and all the staff were very pleasant. My son and grandson will love the T-shirts I bought them. If you enjoy what we call in Australia ‘Pub style food’ you will love it! 🎸❤️🎸❤️🎸

Firstly, the people who make this place what it is are amazing. The front desk staff were so polite and welcoming, setting a great tone from the moment we arrived. The venue itself is a goldmine of pleasure, filled with guitars, clothing, and memorabilia from pioneers in their respective fields — including notable names like The Bettles and Elvis Presley.
We were lucky to visit on a day when the restaurant was offering a retro-themed throwback menu. We enjoyed delicious crispy chips, burgers, and a classic Coke and vanilla float — a real treat!
However, I did have a disappointing experience in the merchandise and shop section. I had a receipt from the restaurant that offered a discount upon completing a questionnaire. Despite submitting it and being confident that all my details were correct, I never received the promised benefit or a follow-up email. The manager in that section could have been more helpful. I’d suggest revisiting this process, as it left a sour note in an otherwise fantastic visit — and is the reason for the missing star in my rating.
All in all, a wonderful experience that I’d definitely recommend.

I had an amazing experience dining here, and a huge part of that was thanks to our waitress, Jayy. From the moment we sat down, she was incredibly attentive, responsive, and on point with everything we needed. She checked in at the perfect times, kept our drinks filled, and made sure we were comfortable without ever hovering.
The food was absolutely fire — fresh, flavorful, and came out exactly how we ordered it. On top of that, the music set the perfect vibe, making the whole experience even better.
Jayy’s energy and professionalism really elevated the night. If you come here, definitely ask for her. You won’t be disappointed!

This restaurant offers a warm, nautical-themed atmosphere with cozy booths and a welcoming staff. Manager Cindy ensures smooth service, while bartenders Dolly and Denise bring energy and friendliness behind the Bar Harbor Bar. The fresh lobster tank and maritime décor add charm, making it a great spot for seafood lovers. Spacious seating, both for groups and individuals, provides comfort. Overall, a pleasant dining experience with attentive service and inviting ambiance.

My visit to Red Lobster in Times Square was nothing short of excellent. Located right in the middle of New York City’s most famous square, the restaurant is just steps away from the flashing billboards and bustling crowds. As soon as I stepped inside, it felt like I had entered a different world – a calm and cozy escape from the noise outside. The seafood-themed décor, warm lighting, and comfortable seating immediately set the tone for a relaxing meal.
The service impressed me from the start. We were greeted with a warm smile, and our table was ready almost immediately. Despite the fact that the restaurant was busy, the staff managed everything so efficiently that we never felt like we had to wait. Our drinks arrived quickly, and before we knew it, our table was filled with fresh, steaming seafood dishes that looked and smelled incredible.
We had decided to order a variety of plates to share, and every single dish exceeded our expectations. The lobster was the highlight – perfectly cooked, with tender, sweet meat that melted in my mouth. It was served with butter that complemented its flavor beautifully. The fish was equally delicious, flaky, and seasoned to perfection. The fish and chips came with a golden, crispy coating that was light yet satisfying, and the fries were fresh, hot, and perfectly salted. The fried shrimp were crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside, without being greasy at all. The boiled shrimp were plump, flavorful, and cooked just right – simple, but full of that fresh seafood taste.
What made the experience even better was how attentive the staff were. They checked in at just the right moments – enough to make sure everything was perfect, but never in a way that interrupted our conversation or enjoyment. Our drinks were refilled promptly, and they made sure that everything on our table stayed clean and organized.
The atmosphere was surprisingly peaceful for a restaurant located in one of the busiest places in the world. Even though Times Square was right outside the window, inside it felt calm and comfortable. The tables were spaced well enough to give us privacy, and the background music was soft and pleasant. The entire dining area was clean and well-maintained, and the restrooms were spotless.
By the end of the meal, we were completely satisfied – not just because of the delicious food, but because the entire experience was smooth, relaxing, and enjoyable. For anyone visiting New York who loves seafood, I can’t recommend Red Lobster in Times Square enough. It offers a perfect combination of fresh, flavorful food, fast and friendly service, and a peaceful atmosphere in the heart of one of the most exciting places in the world. This is definitely a place I will come back to on my next trip to NYC

Extremely reasonably priced food, açai bowls that were filled to the brim, only four very small tables was a huge drawback. The food was very tasty and the assortment was enough to take care of the varied taste in my group. There are snacks that are very healthy and plant-based and a drink selection. That’s also very mindful of one’s diet.

Tiny but mighty! You can tell the owner knows what he is doing. If I remember correctly, the guy there is the son of the former owner. My second visit was today and it didn’t disappoint! The owner and the staff were very helpful and nice.
I had the Zen Mandu Bowl (totally a Star Wars sounding name-lol). It has all vegetarian steamed potstickers, plenty of veg, kimchi with a lovely sauce; cool and refreshing. I could only eat because I also had a delicious shake made out beets and other yummy things ($9.25). So refreshing! Prices at pretty typical for NYC and so many options.
They also have a few hot and cold chicken and turkey options today. Wraps and Turkey meatballs…looked delicious but I wanted fresh vegetables. They also have veggie friendly cookies, chips, Ollipop, and other things.
They also had lentil soup, chicken soup and I forget what the third soup was. My friend had the chicken soup.
Sadly, the lovely sorbetto that was here earlier in the year! Next time , I’ll have to ask about it!

Amazing experience! Saw a big band play. Loved every minute of it! You can order a full dinner while you’re there plus drinks. Huge portions but a bit heavy. But hey, you’re there for the music right? Service was pretty good - coming by between sets.
Definitely worth making the effort to stop by. Decent bathrooms.

Such a wonderful place with great vibes and tasty food. The live performance by the drummer, pianist, and double bassist was fantastic!
I left my clothes there by mistake, and even though they were busy, a kind lady took the time during the performance break to find them for me. I really appreciated her kindness. I’d love to come back again someday.

Incredible live jazz with classic New York vibes
Birdland Jazz Club delivers an amazing performance — the musicianship and energy are top-notch, making it a must-visit for jazz lovers. The atmosphere is classic and intimate, though seating is first-come, first-served, so arrive early if you want the best spot. Book your tickets in advance, as shows can sell out.
There is a $20 per person minimum spend on top of the ticket price, and while the food and drinks are okay, the real highlight is unquestionably the music. The crowd adds to the lively, authentic New York jazz experience.
world-class performances in a quintessential jazz setting.

We went to Dallas BBQ in NYC around Thanksgiving, and overall it was a pretty good experience.
The place was packed, like, really packed, but they still found a table for us almost right away, which was impressive. The restaurant is huge and lively, and despite the crowd, the service was quick and friendly. 👍
I ordered the Smokehouse Special with an extra beef rib, and the portions were absolutely massive:
• Cornbread was honestly amazing. Soft, warm, and one of the best parts of the meal. 🌽
• The meat itself was good, but the sauce was way too salty, and it kind of took over the whole plate. A bit disappointing because you could tell the meat was well-cooked, but the sauce just overshadowed everything.
• The fries were solid, but I really missed something fresh on the plate. Even a little salad or some veggies would’ve helped balance things out. For a dish that’s around $30–40, it would’ve been nice to have something green on the side. 🥗
Portions are huge, so you definitely get a lot of food for the price.
Despite the salty sauce, Dallas BBQ is still a good spot if you’re craving big BBQ plates in a fun, busy atmosphere.

The place has a fun atmosphere, especially with all the Halloween decorations. The food and service were both okay — just as expected from a busy Times Square restaurant. Fried chicken, steak, and burgers were decent and portions were generous. A solid spot if you’re in the area and want a casual meal in a lively setting.

Eating in this place is awesome. In my experience, the food and the service never have let me down. Prices very nice and affordable specially considering this place is located in NY city!!! The drinks are very nice and not expensive at all. If you want to relax and have a nice time after touring the city this place is highly recommended. However, I would recommend that you can call and make a reservation before you go just to make sure because there are days where to place is full and it is better be safe than sorry 😌.

We had the pleasure of dining at Dallas BBQ three times during our stay in New York. Twice in the restaurant and once with takeout, and every experience was fantastic!
The food is absolutely delicious, with generous portions that are perfect for sharing or satisfying a big appetite. I especially enjoyed the Frozen Margaritas, which were consistently excellent whether enjoyed in the restaurant or taken to go.
Our kids ordered the hot dogs twice and were always pleasantly surprised by their impressive size and taste. The salads were another highlight, large, fresh, and full of flavor, making them a great option for a lighter yet satisfying meal.
Overall, Dallas BBQ delivered a consistently great experience with tasty food, fun drinks, and generous portions. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a lively and satisfying meal in NYC!

Joined the “Better Off Bowling” social league (that plays on Sundays) with a buddy several months ago. I’d recommend it & think of it as a success! The alleys are in good condition & the staff are always friendly & helpful. The league is about $100 for a season (4-7 weeks depending on the season) and allows you to play for a bit more than 2 hours with discounted wine/beer as well as beer games after bowling concludes. It’s a good time is the bottom line.

Nestled in the heart of Manhattan’s chaos and charm, this isn’t your average bowling alley — it’s a full-blown vibe.
Let’s talk about a game-changer: the Sweet Chili with French Fries. Yes, you read that right. This dish alone is worth the visit. Imagine golden-crisp fries tossed in a sticky, spicy-sweet chili glaze that hits all the right notes — savory, sweet, with just the right amount of heat. It’s the kind of flavor bomb that makes you pause mid-bite and say, “Okay…WOW.” Every fry is coated to perfection, with crispy edges soaking up that bold sauce like they were made for each other. It’s indulgent, addictive, and oddly gourmet for a bowling alley. Pair it with an ice-cold drink, and you’re not just eating — you’re experiencing something different.
The atmosphere at Bowlero? Electric. Neon lights, modern lanes, good music, and an upbeat crowd make it feel like a party whether you’re with friends or on a date. Service is fast and friendly, and the whole place feels polished yet playful.
Bowlero Times Square isn’t just a place to bowl — it’s where food, fun, and energy collide. And seriously, don’t leave without trying those sweet chili fries. They’ll haunt your cravings in the best way possible.

This was one of my favorite restaurants that I tried to visit every time I got to New York City.
Yes, it is Forrest Gump-related and you'd better review the movie before the visit so that you understand what it is all about - the references are everywhere there!
Starting with photos on the walls to license plates with Run Forrest, Run! and Stop Forrest, Stop.
You just use one of these plates if you want waiters to come by or to stop and get you something.
The service is absolutely adorable - everyone is so positive and helpful. I was one alone and the waiter just asked me some questions, some small talk - so that I don't feel alone -)
And, definitely, the food, which is absolutely impeccable.
This is the best restaurant with shrimp meals I have ever been to.
Location is also great - the very downtown of NYC.
Nothing is more central in the city than Times Square -)
So, a great restaurant with great food, great service and great location.
Five stars on all fronts!

My wife and I had lunch at this “Forrest Gump” themed restaurant. Most of the dishes in the menu are shrimp related. In general the food was good, but the chicken tenders and fries my wife ordered wasn’t that good. The service was excellent and the atmosphere very interesting.

In the middle of Broadway, overlooking to the street. Loved the seafood. Some of the servings were massive, had to take out half of my plate. The ooey gooey box of chocolate was amazing. Must try! Braxton, our server, was great. Will visit again.

Went there with a very dear friend. Both of us have never been there before. The service and atmosphere were perfect. I had the shrimp combo, and she had stuffed shrimp. Both meals were right on point. Our server, Brandi, was one of the best we had the pleasure of waiting on us. I must say that for being in Times Square, the pricing was reasonable. Definitely a go back place had a fun.
One question for the restaurants name, Bubba Gump, is that there is nothing on the menu carrying that name 😋

Visited after having been here many years ago.
Couldn't believe it was half empty and very quiet, considering it's Times Square.
No reservations, just turn up.
The food was hot and service friendly and swift.
The Kids menu was great and arrived in a boat, which my son liked.
Free refills on drinks.
The food was great, so there no complaints.
We did get charged an adult drink instead of 99c for a child's drinks, but the waitress did reluctantly change it. He is 7 and drunk a quarter of the glass. I didn't appreciate being overcharged.
We didn't get offered a dessert menu and was instead given the bill. We were too full for dessert anyway.
If your a Brit, it's worth noting you'll get the bill, then need to give them your bank card to take away. You then sign a slip and write how much tip your giving.
They charge your card twice, once as a holding amount and the a final amount.
