4 Star Rating Overall, solid experience but nothing to call home for. Standard pub with the conventional selections, exactly what you’d expect. Went on a Saturday after 5pm and was seated promptly for four people. Most of the tables were packed by that point so we lucked out. Food: Not a huge menu but they have what you’d expect: fish and chips, sheppard’s pie, chicken pot pie, burgers, corn beef, etc. We got nachos to start, and mains: the Reuben sandwich, fish and chips, and turkey burger. All were fine- not the best and not the worst. Prices were a bit high for the quality, but you’d expect as much in Times Square area. Drinks: The noticeable difference is that they have over 40 beers on tap. We got the Connolly’s Red Ales and they were pretty good. Service: Pretty good for a packed house. Prompt to sit, drinks came within reasonable time, food came fairly short after too. Atmosphere: Exactly what you’d expect for an Irish pub. They have funky door handles so that was an interesting difference.

5 Star Rating This is a really cool spot. It is aesthetically pleasing and exciting to see. They have draft handles as faucets in bathroom and kegs as a sink - that IS really cool and creative. The staff was welcoming and everyone went above and beyond. The serve was kind, professional, efficient and he and the rest of the servers and bussers continually checked on us and other tables. They work as a team. The ambiance is lovely. They okay music but we went during a championship game so game was playing which was the reason for us going in the first place. TVs everywhere. The prices are reasonable. There is a great selection of menu items and plenty of Irish dishes. We ordered the spicy wings, pot pie and fries. The fries are amazing! Nice and airy and crispy and cooked to perfection. The pot pie was good but I personally like a more chicken knorr or poultry seasoning flavoring which I felt lacked. Overall just okay for my liking. The fried were good. Fresh and piping hot. Great place just off time square (one block) wit a great vibe. We settled on their roof top bar that’s closed off with AC but there’s an outdoor are for smokers. I highly recommend this place.

2 Star Rating I've had a terrific time here at St. Patrick's Day, but not good on a recent trip where the place was practically empty. If I didn't know to ask for upstairs seating, I would have been relegated to the dark downstairs. Thankfully, someone overheard and interceded because the front of house folks were not communicating well. I initially had a wonderful server upstairs, but a big party was coming in so I was moved and forgotten. I had to track someone down to remind them I had asked for water on this blazing hot day. I appreciated that they found a spot for me near a TV as requested. The Margarita flatbread had some sauce on it, absolutely no crushed tomatoes as described, and just little bits of shredded basil. No one ever came back to check and I finally found another server so I could pay and get out of there. I had asked the server if something had gone wrong between moving my heat and also commented that the food was not as described and was just told she was sorry for my experience. Never again.

5 Star Rating After almost 10 years, it was great to get to experience this fine establishment with my family and I'm so glad we did. The service here is brilliant with its friendly staff and flowing coffee. Bernie made a fuss over my niece each time we came in and gave her some Connollys merch, he ever got her to be posted on their Instagram page. The breakfast was a hit every time. I highly recommend the French toast. It comes with fresh fruit and a bowl of maple syrup and it tastes so good. The best French toast I've ever had.

5 Star Rating Great Irish pub for the season of St.Patrick. location is great, a block from time square. The potatoes leak soup was amazing as was the Shepards pie. The service was great too, very quick and attentive without being overbearing in any way. Give traditional Irish pub vibes and great selection of beer and whiskey Hoghly recommend!

5 Star Rating Alejandra was our server and she made our experience amazing. The food was delish but she really made our mother daughter dinner extra special. We will definitely recommend this establishment to others and to request Alejandra for their server. Unfortunately I only got a picture of the salad because when our dinner came it looked so delicious we couldn’t wait to dive in.

4 Star Rating I came with a friend for dinner and we were greeted politely. We had a table reservation, but chose to sit at the bar for drinks and happy hour oysters which were good and fresh. The Prosecco we were served was flat however the bartender reacted promptly and opened a fresh bottle for us. The place was empty for a Friday night and it was extremely hot compared to the freezing weather outside. The staff explained the hotel above controls the temperature inside so there wasn’t much they could do. The food was good, I loved the lobster bisque, my friend loved the salad, the filet and the salmon, both served with mashed potatoes & asparagus, were good but nothing out of the extraordinary. The creme brûlées were fine, a little bitter for my taste, probably the top sugar coat was too burned or they overdid the vanilla extract. I don’t know if I would comeback during the winter season (too hot to bare inside), but maybe I would give it another shot summertime or early fall.

4 Star Rating We went to Blue Fin on a Thursday afternoon. There was no wait but the restaurant was pretty busy. The service was good, nothing exceptional and food took a while to come out but they were friendly. The food we had was edamame and two sushi rolls. Both rolls were very good, they did not have a huge selection but they all looked great and were very fairly priced. We enjoyed the magic dragon roll and the Godzilla roll. The ambiance was very ince, the restaurant decor was fitting and pretty. The only reason for 4 stars is the bathrooms were not very clean, and the service and attentiveness was not all there. We would recommend a visit though. Thank you!

5 Star Rating I would give this place 6 stars if I could. The staff is incredibly accommodating even though we reserved the afternoon of our visit, and had 4 kids in tow. We were taken care of by the most amazing staff who anticipated what we wanted, and what the kids needed. For a high end steakhouse to accommodate 2 families on a last minute reservation, we were both impressed and were highly appreciative. The steaks are absolutely amazing. If you're splurging on a nice-in-a-lifetime visit, go for the dry aged steaks. The dry aged boneless ribeye is worth the price, and order it rare!

4 Star Rating This is a stellar food destination, with a few rough edges. I love the location, across from Radio City Music Hall, near Times Square, and I love the decor, which is lots of wood and leather without being too retro. Our tuna tartare appetizer was fabulous, and surprised my wife with Indonesian prawn crackers, just like her home! The cocktails were “stiff!” No skimping on booze there! My dry Manhattan was killer! The bread basket was a delight! Had to stop myself at 2 of the buttery soft buns! Gerard our waiter was attentive but not excessively so, and Caesar the manager couldn’t have been nicer. Sweet guy! Gerard doubled as a sommelier as well, and steered us truly into some great California Zin. The sides were well executed!! So what are the rough edges? Unfortunately it was the very reason we went to a steakhouse! It was the steak! Granted, it was cooked to spec, but the ribeye was so salty that it numbed the tongue, and lacked any semblance of nuance. We politely made it known and they politely took note, all the while saying that it’s been an issue for years. I hope this reaches the right ears and eyes because we love the place in spite of that. As for the other rough edge? It’s a pet peeve of mine. Fine dining deserves a fine atmosphere. The steakhouse clearly has in writing that there’s a dress code. My wife actually spent a few hours shopping because we thought our vacation wardrobe was too casual! Looks like sales trumped the rules again as it so often does. I saw the very same sneakers, crocs, shorts and T shirts they say they expressly forbid. After we made every effort to turn up nicely dressed (which we like doing)Add to that, that the people at the next table decided to have a loud and raucous face-time call with relatives which definitely was an intrusion. A word to them by management would have been appreciated. Anyway, that’s it! We’ll be back!

5 Star Rating Absolutely loved this experience. It was so much fun watching these talented performers. We were there for about an hour and the performances were back to back. I was surprised. I thought maybe we'd see one or two. Nope. Nonstop entertainment. The food was good. My Ceasar salad was perfect and my husband enjoyed his Philly cheese steak. The waffle fries were delicious and so was the IPA. Thank you for the experience!

5 Star Rating Wow! Five star supreme experience. First: you queue up outside in a line which can take you an hour (or more) to get colected from. Come prepared for that. Then you are collected and taken to your table which could be on the ground floor or gallery level. All the time, live performers are strutting their stuff and giving out the best vocal performances from Broadway hits or famous songs! Really good, friendly, helpful and thoughtful service from the singing waiters and your food is brought to your table on giant trays by the servers. Toilets/bathrooms aren't the biggest but that's not why you come, right? There's also a gift shop. Awesome experience. Highly - HIGHLY recommend!

4 Star Rating Came as a party of 4 on a Saturday around 11am and waited ~40 min. While there's a wait, the line moves! Some groups get picked off the line if a booth opens up for a larger party - the entire party must be present to be seated. We were escorted upstairs + seated towards the wall. Unfortunately, it was a bit hard to see some performances on the main fl, but there's a TV feed that broadcasts live and half of the time, the servers sing upstairs before moving to the main fl. As for the food - typical overpriced diner classics, but you're here for the entertainment. They cover a lot of classics from Broadway Musicals, to Disney, to pop culture songs. They also have a tip bucket, so bring some cash if you're feeling charitable! Overall, a fun time! And the wait wasn't AS long as I thought. No bathrooms while waiting, however you can go to Urban Hawker food hall nearby for emergencies!

5 Star Rating Caution: the line to get into this diner can be VERY long but we got there as soon as we got out of our matinee performance. We waited about 40 minutes and were seated by the front. The waiters are not really focused on the service part (which is honestly fine, I was there to watch them perform anyway!) but the performances were super fun and the talent is amazing. They are also huge advocates of supporting the talent performing and supporting the fact that sometimes you need a survival job and that's ok! Not sure I would go back but a great experience!

3 Star Rating Most people go here because the wait staff are singing hit songs and sometimes original songs the whole time. I had The Ruby sandwich. It looked great, but it made me sick later. The food handling seemed to be lacking. My coffee was not fresh and tasted burned from sitting on a warmer too long. The service was very slow. The singing was pretty good, Some were excellent singers and others were amateurish, but not terrible. My wife had the bagel with salmon. She really enjoyed that.

2 Star Rating First time in NYC! Traveling with some friends who had ate at previously and highly recommended The View. They had attended prior to the epidemic and experienced the revolving floor that added to the dining appeal. Sad to say that the floor no longer turned and menu was set, everyone eats the same thing, so hopefully you liked everything being served on the menu because there are no substitutions. In exchange for the revolving floor, you got a “show” of a miniature chef preparing each course that they bring out to you. While the staff was friendly and attentive and the meal presentation was cute, we were stunned and less than impressed by our enormous bill. For two people the bill was well over $400 which was more than our round trip flights to the city!! We were totally shocked and thrown off by this, as was our friend who had been a patron there before! She said that every about this experience had changed and was nothing like she remembered and wanted to share the experience again with us. Beware before booking your reservation as this is NOT budget friendly and you will want to make sure your taste buds align with the menu. This is not something I would recommend to a friend as I am sure there other nice eating establishments that would cost far less!

4 Star Rating This was our second time here with our family, but the first since Covid and the first since La Petite Chef. The bottom line is while still a superior restaurant, the price does not reflect much more than the payment to restore the spinning restaurant mechanism that makes "the view" worth it in the first place. Please note, and if you've seen our other reviews, you know that, at All Set Vacations, we pride ourselves on providing true and transparent editorial content based on all my years as a journalist and educator. We paid $1200 for this experience. Definitely arrive early. We shared drinks a snack in one of the lower floor restaurants first because we read that it might not be enough food, it definitely was enough food and the wine at dinner was also enough alcohol to suffice anyone. By arriving early, we enjoyed three different appetizers. They were ok, but mostly breading, so, nothing special. The show is cool, but, as a photographer and cinematographer/media person myself, felt a bit dated. Essentially, there is a ultra high resolution projector above your table with four specifically placed circles that mark your plate. That way the projector can the two-dimensional animation at the same time to all four place settings. It's a simple two-dimensional cartoon chef that runs around and you enjoy his antics for a few minutes as he prepares what you're about to eat and then the food is served right afterwards. That's pretty much it. It was cool but nothing that was mouth dropping or eye opening other than just being a novelty. It would definitely be worth a look to do it once but not sure if it warrants the heavy price tag. I'm not sure if I would recommend coming here just for this part alone. However, the food, plus this experience, depending on your preference for something different could make it worth it. Now for the food itself at dinner. The food was amazing, but, heavy! How anyone can say they didn't feel they ate enough is beyond me! The cream base on many dishes filled us up and we definitely felt it! The portions are fine. I did a little digging and looked up each one of the pairing wines individually. They are all very highly ranked and we're all delicious. We have more of a preference for red and we know a bottle of stag sleep alone is a $100 bottle. So having two glasses of that was wonderful. Put that together with all the other ones and if you're a wine person, this is like having a high-end flight. I also included a picture of the menu to see all food and beverage offerings. The dinner courses were fantastic, fresh, and served perfectly. The lobster included a portion of a tail and one claw (would have loved more of that for the price like half of a normal 8 oz tail or skip the rubbery claw even though it helps the presentation). The beef short rib was very tender as well. The first course, again, solid, and the desert was complex and balanced. So....let's lay it out and see if it gets an 'All-Set' seal of approval.....-after the breakdown. Let's be generous and assume each wine glass costs $20. For my wife and I, that would be $160 total. Let's give the first course a $20 price on a normal menu, that's $80 for all four of us. Second course $30 each normally, $120 total. Let's assume each main entree of short ribs would be a max of $50 each- $200 total. And dessert, $20 each or $80 total. So... for 4 people, 2 adults and 2 kids: That's $640 for a really wonderful dinner for the four of us at a decent high view of the other tall buildings in the area. ( remember, it's not spinning currently). Add in a tip of 130 and that's $770. That's essentially a markup of $430 that is likely paying for the projector and, from what we learned, management to save up to turn the spinning motor back on! Final thoughts: if you can rationalize the extra costs for the experience, do it once but, without the spinning view, the view ( name of the restaurant)! isn't great. But, the food, drinks ,and service is worth $640, but not $1200!

5 Star Rating My boyfriend took me there for fine dinning experience and without a doubt it’s one of those one time experiences you need to have. Since it was a surprise I had no idea that it was a virtual reality show that needed to start at the same time for all guests. Nevertheless I called the restaurant because we were running 10min late with all the traffic in Times Square. And they were waiting on us to start the show. The view was amazing, the service was amazing as well. And the food was very good too. I was too full to finish my third course but I wish I could of eaten it all. The dessert was the best I have ever had and they added a special message for our anniversary which was a nice touch. They also offer you a wine to pair with every course so three glasses of wine. The whole experience is very unique and outstanding. The pictures doesn’t do justice to what we experienced.

We ordered the I Rigatoni and the Linguine alle vongole. Both were incredibly tasty and delicious. The clams were fresh and full of flavor. We were very happy with our meal here.

5 Star Rating Always a great meal here. I really enjoyed the fresh baked bread and butter and my pasta dish was fresh and served hot. I topped off the meal with a delicious cannoli.

5 Star Rating As a Cuban and coming from Miami, I recommend this restaurant for its food and drinks, best mojito I’ve had! Also, I want to thank Luiza, our server, who made the experience so much enjoyable. They truly made our experience super special, including the special chicharrones the cook made for us and the happy birthday son at the end in Spanish for my daughter’s 12th year old birthday. Thanks! We are definitely coming back to NYC for your mojitos!!

4 Star Rating The food was okay the rice needed a little bit more understanding. The broccoli was okay the ribs were okay. The carribean chicken wings were good. The food came out like warm . I didn’t care for that too much . The server was good it wasn’t his fault he’s not the cook. Lots of people inside. I don’t like Luke warm food and I was not sending nothing back neither .. the end. Just ask for your food to be hot and not just sitting there

5 Star Rating We had a very positive experience at Havana Central even though the restaurant ended up being packed. The servers were friendly and accommodating. The food made us happy and full. We throughly enjoyed the tostones, empanadas and ropa vieja. The black beans and the arroz con pollo were devoured. The flan was good but the tres leches was outstanding, do not skip it. The restaurant is also a good value especially for the Times Square area.

4 Star Rating I took my parents out here last Saturday. And we had a great waitress by the name Gabriella which was phenomenal. My mom ordered the grilled swordfish as my stepfather order the filet mignon steak with sides of brussel sprouts. For dessert we wound up getting a vanilla cheesecake which came with green pistachio gelato as well as pistachio nuts. That's pretty cool was when you get coffee they give you granulated cubed brown sugar as well.

5 Star Rating This place served the best seafood I've ever had. It's definitely pricy (our bill was almost $200 with tip) but I would love to get the opportunity to dine here again. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice dinner before seeing a broadway show. Definitely get the cheesecake for dessert if they still have it.

5 Star Rating Wanted a nice seafood dinner before a show and this mainstay came recommended. We were not disappointed. The service was great, the food was excellent and the pre-show dinner option is a great value. (If you're having a couple cocktails the price will climb right back up there though). I mentioned it was a birthday celebration on the reservation and they were kind enough to bring us a dessert with a lit candle to celebrate.

4 Star Rating Elegant simple decor, very large. Stopped by for lunch and was a little bit the outcast as I was a party of one. They questioned whether they had room in the restaurant and decided they did so I was seated there (while it did fill up while I was there it was certainly not full). This is more of a pet peeve for me, but when they ask if you want sparkling or still, particularly if you are a party of one I wish they would tell you that you are purchasing a bottle. It’s not the cost but the waste that bothers me. Bread was delicious, pillowy and full of garlic with a touch of salt on top. Calamari appetizer was one of the best I have had. Perfectly crisp and I have never had it served with tartar sauce before and i like it (it helped that it was a very nice tartar sauce). Burrata shrimp salad was tasty. Menu states sunflower seeds, but there were none in my salad. Not sure if they forgot or if the menu is outdated. The quinoa was sprinkled throughout the salad and added a nice bit of texture to each bite. The burrata was very creamy and almost acted as additional dressing. It was dressed nicely, not to much but absolutely enough. The shrimp was rather bland ( honestly probably my perception, not sure what I was expecting) but good. Croutons were great, so crispy. Meyer lemon parfait was delicious. The curd was extremely tart ( which I loved) but as the parfait is served you can make your own perfect bite because all items are separate. Service was also great.

5 Star Rating Excellent. My wife and I love to travel and try new places to eat. She had the Lobster and Crab Cake with Lemon Basil Aioli. I had the Filet Mignon. Both were excellent. The Filet was one of the best I've ever had. The service is exceptional. I highly recommend making plans to have a nice dinner here.

5 Star Rating I typically only give reviews when things are excellent... Well, this time, the entire experience exceeded excellent! From the ease of making a reservation to the greeting and atmosphere upon entering Capital Grille to the exit with a sincere thank you from the hosts on our way out the door. This dining experience was fantastic! Colton was our server and he had the amazing ability to deliver a fine dining level of service along with a friendly and comfortable delivery that our 6-year old granddaughter felt seen, heard and valued as a guest. The food, well, it was incredible! Crab cake, Bone-in filet, lobster mac and cheese, lamb chops, and the flourless chocolate cake. Superb! Fairly expensive and worth every penny!

3 Star Rating My first visit to this particular outpost of the Capital Grille. I'm a big fan of the one attached to Grand Central Terminal, previously in the Chrysler Center. I went for a late lunch and chose to eat at a hightop table in the bar area. Both the bar and the dining room were deserted. The server promptly offered drink service, but I wanted to pair a glass of wine with my meal, She returned quickly with the lunch menu and a glass of ice water. I made my selections, and she took the order, delivering my glass of wine quickly without first offering a sample or showing me the bottle from whence it came. That was a serious faux-pas, and I should have mentioned it on the spot, but I was taken aback and satisfied with the wine upon immediately sampling it pn my own. The first course was delivered soon after, but not announced by name, as is the custom in most all fine dining establishments. Instead of saying, "...the French Onion Soup and your NY Strip medium rare," it was announced as your soup and your steak. Perhaps I'm being picky, but that is how my dishes are almost always delivered. It's a way to ensure you're receiving what you actually ordered. Other service fails included not asking if I wished any condiments with either my truffle fries or my steak, nor performing a check back to ascertain my satisfaction with the meal. I had to flag the barman for appropriate condiments as none were proactively provided. The quality of the food was very good, but the level of professionalism and attentiveness in an empty venue was subpar, especially compared to my experiences with the Grand Central Terminal branch. I hope this was a abnormality, and not a lowering of the service standard at the Capital Grille chain.

5 Star Rating I feel super grateful to have the wonderful dinner with Superman! The lamb was incredibly tender, and the clam chowder was creamy and delicious. We chose a very healthy Spanish dish, and it was absolutely yummy. Thank you for the memorable experience! And there is a bar outside of the dinning room. Highly recommend if you prefer fine dinning at the quiet environment. 10/10 rating.
