Absolutely loved this place! It’s easily one of the restaurants I’d recommend to anyone visiting Bryant Park.
I ordered the Wild Mushroom Ravioli, and it was honestly one of the best ravioli dishes I’ve ever had. It was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked. We also had the Steak Frites, which was delicious as well. The steak was tender, lean, and full of flavor.
The portion sizes were generous, and the atmosphere was beautiful. It’s such a lovely spot to enjoy a meal, especially with the park right outside.
The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the lobster soup. It was a bit too thin and didn’t have much flavor. But honestly, the main courses more than made up for it.
If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. I’ll definitely be coming back! ⭐️

We've been to the BPG many times and have rarely been disappointed. The setting inside Bryant Park is always gorgeous and it's a pleasure to dine in the covered outdoors patio in the summer. The menu, while not exactly groundbreaking, is always varied and satisfying. We would recommend the crab cakes, the grilled octopus and the mussel toasts. For dessert, the olive oil lemon cake was delicious.

Great spot for dinner. The hen of the Woods appetizer was delicious. My entree was well seasoned, but could have been warmer. The apple dessert was OK - crust was too dense. Service was great and good size pours on the wines!

They had Australian Lamb Rack on the menu, I couldn't resist, even though it was the most expensive dish. It didn't disappoint, although it comes with lentils, which I requested not be served! The lamb was very tasty and tender and it was a good serve. I also enjoyed a very nice glass of Malbec. The waitress from Brazil was very helpful and friendly. Overall, a very pleasant meal while watching the passing parade of people at Bryant Park

What an amazing spot - my fav meal in NYC. Steak frites were perfect, alongside delicious cheesecake and sangria cocktail. Great views of the park. Was lively without being too loud or overwhelming. Server was super lovely and attentive. Would absolutely recommend!!

We were invited back to STK for a Chef's Tasting by management to make up for the poor first experience we had. The menu wasn't that thrilling but it was definitely a better experience than our last. The mushroom tagliatelle was delicious. The sea bass was good but it was also sweet which wasn't expected. Both sides were delicious and that cloud cake was beautiful visually and tasted delicious. Suggestion for those visiting with children- they use Rum to melt thru the cotton candy so maybe don't get this because you do taste the rum. They also gave us a complimentary bottle of wine- we chose the Rose. Our server Darija was absolutely wonderful and attentive. Thank you to Darija and the STK management team for offering to make our second visit to STK a great memorable experience.

The staff here is incredible BIG SHOUT OUT TO KARIN!!!! 🩷 she was so warming and welcoming and really set the tone for my first time coming here. The first thing I noticed was the ambiance. (Lots of photo oops!!!) STK somehow manages to feel upscale without making you feel like you need to whisper. The lighting, the music, the energy 🥹🤩 it felt like the perfect mix of date night, girls night, and “I just got paid” night.
Now let’s talk service, because customer service can make or break a restaurant. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and somehow always appeared right when we needed something. My water glass never got below half full. Big thanks to Karin’s attentiveness 🩷
As for the food, the filet was cooked beautifully😋, the truffle fries were addictive😋, and every course felt intentional rather than just something filling space on the menu.
Overall, STK delivered on all three things I look for: great food, great atmosphere, and great service. I will definitely be back again 😇🙌🏽

My girls and I had such a great time at STK Midtown! We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, and especially the amazing service from our server, Raheim.
Raheim was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the entire night. What really stood out to us was how considerate he was about my friend’s sesame allergy. He took it seriously, paid close attention to what she could safely have, and made sure she felt comfortable while dining. We really appreciated that level of care.
He definitely helped make our girls’ night even more enjoyable and memorable. If you’re dining at STK Midtown, ask for Raheim—you’ll be in great hands! We had an amazing time and will definitely be back. ❤️🥂

This was our first time at this location and I have to say the vibes, the energy, the service all 10/10. They had a great dj for Saturday night! our server koren was amazing and so attentive! she constantly made sure to fill my water, ask us if things were okay. We came here for my birthday and I have to say I enjoyed! I do wish the food had a little more flavor but that is just a personal preference. Would definitely return back here to enjoy the great service and dj. And if you do book a reservation be sure to ask for koren

My boyfriend and I both ordered the filet mignon (medium) with truffle fries, spinach and a Caesar salad. The fries were good, the spinach was very salty and only one of our steaks was good (my partner’s steak had tendons running through it - very chewy and inedible). The music was very loud and we couldn’t hear each other. Service was good. The manager came over to say hello at the beginning which was a very nice touch. We enjoyed the free shots when the servers gave the them out to the entire restaurant! The dessert wasn’t very good (very dark chocolate dense lava cake - not sweet at all). For two people, we spent $350.

Can't seem to get it together for uber eats orders. Half the time when I order from here my order is wrong and the majority of the time it's when I order the oxtail. Today they sent stew beef im it's place as if it's the same thing. Didn't bother to call me to confirm if I was ok with the substitution. Stew beef is much harder/chewier and CHEAPER cut of beef yet they thought I would just be ok with paying such a high price for a low quality of meat. Even worse , they sent me just 4 small pieces of meat. I promptly filed a complaint.
Privacy Joy - 6 months ago
I have been going to Sophie’s for years and the food never disappoints!! I got the shredded beef stew this time and it was just as good as always, especially with the green sauce, which is a little bit spicy (not too hot though). I will definitely come again.
Robert Reynolds - 2 years ago
Went here with my coworkers to get lunch. This is the second location I've been to and the line is a bit long during lunchtime but goes by quickly. Their green sauce is really good and def recommend getting a platter. The shredded beef was tender and was flavorful. The empanada esp the beef one hits every single time!
Nicole Kim - 2 years ago
I was extremely disappointed with our visit, the lines were long, so we thought we had hit the jackpot. There’s a few things I would change number one the lunch specials none of which include an actual meat with rice and beans. For example, one lunch special was a Cuban sandwich with a side of rice and beans which makes no sense. The way they organize the food was bad. They had rice, meats, beans, sides, all intermingled in the same section and they have two carts of food. Because the staff rush you through the line, we unfortunately ordered our food, while we were in front of the first section, so we missed out on other sides and meats available in the section closest to the register.
The food was rather bland for Cuban food, I love Caribbean food and this did not hit the mark. We ordered 2 meals, 2 sodas, an empanada and stuff potato and paid over $50 way more than I expected to pay for such small portions of food.

Went to Koi New York for dinner with my family. Was recommended by the Byrant Park Hotel. We were greeted by the hostess and seated right away. Atmosphere was great, and noise level was low. My wife had the Miso Soup, which she enjoyed. We shared the Kobe Style Potstickers, which was delicious. My wife had the Peppercorn Filet Mignon with Toban Yaki Shishito Potato Purée. Which was cooked to perfection. My daughter and I had the Wagyu Style Skirt Steak Shiso with Chimichurri sauce and Ginger Shitake Fried Rice. Servers were consantly coming to us filling our water and manager was presently on the floor.

I absolutely love this place! I go to Koi every time I’m in town and have such a great time. Servers are always incredible and very nice. The food is UNREAL!!! You have got to try the salmon tartar, or tuna tartar. (Hack - grab chopsticks and chop up the Chips and mix it up all together) then eat with chopstick. AMAZING. Crispy rice spicy tuna is a must. The Aka roll is my favorite sushi roll. Honestly, you can try everything here and it’s amazing. Absolutely love this place in the ambience is great too. Highly recommend trying it out.

Even on a weekday lunch, this spot is busy due to business lunches. Pricier and louder spot, but the ambiance is cozy and the food is amazing. Raw seafood like the toro and scallops melt in your mouth!!! The salmon carpaccio is a dream. If not for business, I would come here again for a dressy and special occasion.

Food was excellent! Service 11/10! I had the best server (look for Kyle) and the manager Diamond (she touched the table a few time). Very professional and gave really great suggestions on the food. Overall experience was superb!

Koi is secretly one of the most vegan-friendly spots in midtown. They have a separate vegan menu with sushi as well as hot dishes. We loved the garden cut roll and the grilled tofu and vegetable entree. The avocado hand roll was in an unusual format but was tasty. Overall, the food felt a little bit expensive, but everything was great and fresh with good attention to detail. We also appreciated how seriously they took allergies - they said everything vegan was made in a separate space so there would be no cross-contamination with shellfish etc.

Our first visit to Morton’s was nothing short of exceptional.
From the moment we arrived, Peter, the Regional Manager, made us feel like VIPs. He took the time to personally check on us throughout the evening and made us feel genuinely valued. Our waiter was fantastic as well, and while I unfortunately can’t remember his name, his service was top-notch.
One member of our group has a black pepper allergy, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate her. The chef created a special sauce for her steak on the fly, and it was absolutely phenomenal. That level of attention and care did not go unnoticed.
The Moscato was the best I’ve ever had, and the offer of a discount on a second bottle to take home was such a thoughtful touch.
What stood out most was how everyone treated us. We weren’t just another table—we felt like honored guests. The hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care from Peter and the entire team made this one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had.
Thank you for making three ladies from Chicago, Detroit, and Wisconsin feel so special. We may have come from different cities, but we’ll all be talking about this experience for a long time.

Love love love their onion soup! Mac and cheese was also delish. Bread, steak, and molten cake were okay average.
Went for our first anniversary dinner 🍽️ Our server was good but, lack of knowledge with wine.
Nonetheless we had a great time.

I eat here frequently. The service is top tier. The food is exquisite. I try to frequent atleast once a month since I work in the Financial District and it's on my way home. The ambiance is elegant and classy. There is literally nothing negative, I could possibly say about this establishment. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. I highly recommend for any occasion of importance or if you want to treat yourself. Oh and don't forget The Onion Loaf, *chef's kiss*. 10/10
*Update*
I have recently gone to Morton's on 5th and when I say I am in love with this place. The manager is top tier. I love how he goes table to table to engage with each and every customer from the waiting area to the bar and table. He brought out our entrée and even assisted with navigating tge menu to find our favorite side Au Gratin potatoes. We did not do restaurant week but did do their Steak w/ Truffle Butter & Lobster, Chicken Christopher & Lobster w/ Truffle Butter, Wagyu Beef Dumplings, Casino Oysters, Lobster Bisque, Caesar Salad, Creme Brulee and Chocolate Lava Cake. The menu has expanded and I love the new additions. Still the same level of excellence and professionalism. I recommend everytime.

What a wonderful elegant experience at Morton's steakhouse. My wife was given a Xmas gift to this establishment and from the time we entered and until we left it was all about us and the customer experience. My wife entered first and I was on my way , the staff was great and ensured her it would be a good time. When I arrived the staff again showed great appreciation for our time. The steak was great and we enjoyed the dessert and wine. 2/14 my wife and I returned to this wonderful restaurant and enjoyed everything including our lovely waitress raeanna can't wait to return. Customer service is incredible. 2/15/26 update : its unfortunate but I discovered a extra 55 dollar charge on my card . I was vigilant and reported it to my credit card company . My credit card company cleared my 55 dollars and returned it to me I also contacted the parent company of mortons steakhouse and no one has responded to me ? I'm disappointed and don't feel comfortable returning. 2/26/26 update: today Peter a general manager at this location responded and assured me that it was a honest mistake and I'm pleased with the answer. And look forward to returning.

I love the manager here at lunch service. Coby is amazing. The bartender Elvin makes a great drink.
I have to knock this down a star. Nueske Bacon has been changed and this is no longer worth my visit.
The half of half of slice was today's visit and the photo is what it use to be early in the year.
No longer worth the price. I can get a full piece of thick cut bacon from Benjamin Steakhouse for $10.
It use to be the highlight of the menu. To be changed so drastically from two steaks to one steak which now includes rice was not a good corporate choice. Especially for those who can't have rice. Having a staple changed is disappointing.

Lovely place for breakfast in Madison Avenue! Their coffee is super delicious and always freshly brewed! I love the hazelnut coffee ☕️ as it always has amazing after taste. The place is great for families with children as there’re many options for different breakfast preferences!
There is a station for freshly made sandwiches where you can get egg sandwiches
A station for prepared hot food, fruits, vegetables, oatmeal and a juicing bar. If you are there don’t miss trying their peanut butter wraps!

Their breakfast buffet is top-notch, and the wait is quick! This place runs like a well-oiled machine, thanks to the super-efficient staff. You can be in and out in under five minutes—perfect for busy mornings!
Lunch can get a bit hectic with the crowds, but the staff’s impressive speed keeps your wait time to pay under five minutes. It’s a lively atmosphere, and you’ll be ready to tackle your day in no time!
One suggestion: it would be even better if they offered sriracha sauce to spice things up!
However, a minor criticism is the pricing; for instance, a small box of sushi costs $7.50 but has jumped to $9. A little adjustment there would make the experience even better!

I usually work remotely at Essen — a peaceful place where I can spend the whole day working. The musical atmosphere is inspiring, the tables are comfortable, and there’s a great variety of food options. I’d only wish for a stronger Wi-Fi connection to call it perfect for me.

Had yummy Kathi roll and chai after a long day at NY, it was so fulfilling to get chai in NYC! I would love t go back again to this place , although they can improve the interiors! It’s a self service , but the cost is very affordable, you wouldn’t find something so tasty at such reasonable rates in NYC. So
If you are not looking for a posh restaurant and looking to grab a quick bite, this is the place!

This place has very good kathi rolls! We have been here a handful number of times, over 15 or so years, when visiting the city! This time, we tried the egg paneer ones - delicious, a bit too lemony for me. The Chana masala Kathi roll, not my favorite, as could taste only the overwhelming masala. Would certainly revisit for a quick Indian snack.

The food is the highlight of this place if you can ignore the rest, you will come back again and again. We have tried every roll and momos, Mind Blowing is just right word to describe it. Shami roll with eggs is my personal favorite. A must go place on every NYC trip. 5 stars all the way.

The roti roll!!!! Had both a lamb mince roll and a paneer (cheese similar to haloumi) roll. Both were amazing!!! I went with roti because it's more like a tortilla, the paratha roll is a little more bulky and flaky. If you're new to Indian cuisine this is the place to stop and give it a try - go with the chicken tikka. If you love Indian and want a quick bite then stop! While you're there check out the amazing pumpkin bathroom - decorating at it's finest!

This street food is certainly worth trying. It is flavorful and rich in spices. However, the tea did not meet expectations and was not to my liking. Despite this, the overall value for the price of the rolls was excellent. In contrast to numerous comparable establishments, they prepare the roti fresh.

During my stay in New York City, I visited this restaurant several times for breakfast.
The food is quite simple, but tasty and easy to enjoy—overall a solid choice.
On the first days, the service was friendly and pleasant.
However, on the third day, I had a less positive experience: the server seemed unmotivated and brought the bill with the tip section already marked.
I usually tip and am happy to do so, but this felt a bit uncomfortable.
That said, the other staff members were friendly, so overall the experience was still okay.

My husband and I were here for a pre-theater meal a few weeks ago. We come from the excellent eating city of Chicago(!) and have often had mixed experiences trying to get a "great" meal in a "time crunch" situation.
Kalleri Taverna is THE spot. I'm stunned that this restaurant is not just 5 stars across the board. Maybe it's history? I don't know. I can tell you that everything we ate was superb. The calamari appetizer had the light breading and delicious crunch you are looking for. The salad was bright with a light dressing. The halibut special was outstanding. Portions were large. We split everything.
A particular shout out of appreciation to our waiter, Leo. Delightfully professional. Endlessly knowledgable and attentive.
Just go here. You'll see what I mean. Excellent across the board.

Wow! Fantastic truly elegant Greek restaurant centrally located between Fifth and Sixth Aves, down the street from the Algonquin Hotel, Harvard Club and Sofitel. A block from Grand Central.
The food was so amazing, every single dish we ordered was perfect.
Greek salad, large chunks of fresh, crisp and very sweet tomatoes, peppers, red onions... Spanakopita-- really hearty...
Whole Lavraki-- a Mediterranean seabass-- with a delicate lemon caper sauce that perfectly complemented the tender filleted whole fish... Kellari Chips-- thinly sliced eggplant and zucchini chips served with tzatziki (yogurt) sauce.
Prices are reasonable for the excellent quality...
We dine in and order out often, and the quality is always the best and our number one go to for Greek or seafood... forget Milo's, Avra, and Molyvo's. Kellari is our new favorite.

We took a recommendation from the firefighters at FDNY 65, and they absolutely nailed it. Kellari Taverna offered one of the most wonderful dining experiences we’ve had in the city.
We tried the pre-theatre menu, and every dish was mouthwatering—fresh, authentic, and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is beautiful, striking that perfect balance between elegant and welcoming with its bright, airy feel. It truly is a great spot for a special night out or a pre-show meal.
Beyond the food, the service was truly exceptional. The staff was attentive and timed everything perfectly for our show. It was more than just a meal; it was a wonderful memory made. Highly recommend!

Met an old friend tonight and he recommended this spot for Greek. Good food and excellent wine. Service was mixed but I'll blame much of that on the noise. I'd give the music and ambient noise level an "energetic" so take that as you will... The dishes were beautiful, food was all good, and the portions were perfect. Definitely recommend.

A true local gem just steps from Grand Central. The service strikes that perfect balance~attentive without ever feeling rushed~so you can actually relax and enjoy your meal. The food was delicious, and beautifully prepared. It’s one of those places you keep coming back to, A great experience.

We visited this place for a happy hour nightcap, and it was absolutely beautiful! You could actually hear yourself think and the person next to you! Their happy hour offers a drink with some appetizers, but I believe they should have a separate happy hour with just drinks, as you’d otherwise have to order from the regular menu. Regardless, I’ll definitely be returning to try their food! Their wine was incredible!

We hosted our wedding dinner at Pera this January, about 120 people on a Friday night, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The space is beautiful, especially in the winter, and it barely needed any extra decor. Being right next to Grand Central made it incredibly easy for guests coming from all over.
Before choosing Pera, we looked at a lot of NYC venues and kept running into the same issues: places that were too expensive, too small, or technically fit our guest count but were broken up into weird rooms, alcoves, or hallways. Pera stood out because it was reasonably priced, had true restaurant-quality food, and offered one large, continuous event space right in the heart of the city. We were able to do a cocktail hour, a seated dinner, and speeches all seamlessly.
From the start, Pinar and Emi were kind, responsive, and patient as we asked a million questions. They really worked with us to make sure the night felt right. Communication was strong throughout, and we always felt heard.
We booked about a year in advance, and during planning there were some natural adjustments as menus and pricing evolved. What mattered most to us was that when it came time to lock things in, they worked with us thoughtfully and collaboratively so we could land on a menu we were excited about. That flexibility made a big difference.
The food was excellent. Multiple guests told us how delicious everything was. The service during the night was smooth and professional.
Overall, Pera delivered a great evening for us. It’s a beautiful space with strong food, a solid team, and a very convenient location, and we’d recommend it to anyone looking to host a large dinner or event in the city.

We had a great team lunch at Pera Mediterranean Brasserie—terrific staff, a welcoming ambiance, and definitely a spot worth considering for events or business meals. The space feels polished yet approachable, and other reviewers have noted how it shines for group dining and upscale gatherings.
Here’s how our meal went:
Starters
• Grilled octopus: Cooked well and crisp at the edges, but I felt it could have used more seasoning to truly stand out.
• Hummus: Creamy, smooth, and flavorful—a strong start that I enjoyed.
Main Course
• Beef shishlik: Tender and well executed in terms of cooking technique; however, it lacked a bit of seasoning punch. I’d rate it about 3.5 out of 5—good, but left a little room for improvement.
Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves. With the strong service, atmosphere, and overall experience, I’ll definitely be returning to try more dishes. If you’re planning a lunch with friends or colleagues and want somewhere that balances style and comfort—this is a solid choice.

A delightful spot for lunch and impressive ambiance. Cocktail No. 5 is now absolute favorite. The soujouk were the undeniable best way to start a meal but the lamb adana on top of the watermelon heirloom tomato salad stole the show. Easily top 5 lamb preparations I’ve ever had. Welcoming and higher tier staff. Beautiful open kitchen. Finely curated spot that is definitely worth a visit.
