This was my first time dining at Bryant Park Grill, and it was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, the experience exceeded expectations.
Our server Lena was a darling: attentive, warm, and made sure everything was perfect. We started with the jumbo lump crab cake and salad, which was fresh and flavorful. My friend had the cashew-crusted salmon (he swapped the potatoes for asparagus, great choice!), and I had the pan-roasted branzino, cooked to perfection. The blackberry nojito seltzer was a hit! We ended the evening with a chocolate brownie and vanilla ice cream that was the perfect sweet touch.
Despite the buzz of the city around us, the atmosphere felt calm and intimate. A little oasis right in the heart of it all. I guess when you have an amazing date and great food, nothing else really matters 😊
Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

We were very let down. Marked that we were celebrating a special occasion which was acknowledged by no one. Both hosts/managers hosting felt irritated and offered zero warmth or connection upon entering and being seated. Soon as we hit the table multiple parties near us were asking where there servers were, even getting up and going to the host stand to ask why a waiter hasn't come for their order. We experienced the same delay and decided to just order drinks given the obvious concerns from other patrons about the lack of attentiveness and concern for their business or their family's meals. Our waiter while doing his job, was just like the host stand, no real connection, no small talk, no how are you, thanks for coming. Just to the point and not attached to the vibes of his customers or engaging in any meaningful way. This is the last thing I expect from an icon that makes their money from hosting special occasions and charges what they do for dishes and cocktails. I'll pay the price for quality all day, but the service was truly horrible on Sat January 3rd when we visited around 7:00pm to the point we felt ripped off. The atmosphere was classy, warm, inviting... But the people running the business that evening couldn't match that expectation, and their impact brought the entire evening down. Dozens of experiences in NYC where restaurants are hyped up and deliver, not here. BP Grill should reevaluate who staffs a critical holiday weekends and I hope others don't walk away feeling so disappointed like we did.

Came here with a party of 9 after our original reservation somewhere else fell through and got seated right away! And this was during xmas week! They have a big outdoor (tented/heated) and cute seating area so there is a lot of seating, even during peak hours. I ordered the branzino and it was absolutely delicious! Someone else in my party ordered the salmon and loved it as well. Even though the menu items are on the pricier side, I would say it’s worth it since the food is great and this restaurant is in such a prime location!

Got seated within a couple of minutes despite all the dinner peak hour rush in a holiday season. Customer service was excellent - took care of orders and food delivery in a timely manner. Food was amazing - well cooked and perfect taste. Drink options were good. Not too noisy for conversations. Place appeared clean and well maintained.

For opening day of the Winter Village I was at Bryant Park. Although I walked to see the decor of another restaurant not liking the way I was treated, went back to Bryant Park Grill, which was not crowded at all. I was seated with courtesy and a smile. The lunch was excellent as was my cucumber refresher movktail. The Foccia bread was sublime. Served on a light layer of olive oil, with fresh butter topped with a sprig of rosemary. I was so happy to have walked back to the park for this.
Excellent,excellent service,servers and food

CHECK WHAT YOU ARE CHARGED FOR!
Extremely disappointed with my experience at STK Steakhouse.
Came for New York Restaurant Week (Sunday, 8 February) which clearly advertised a $30 lunch/brunch per person. I had confirmed this twice in advance, and again upon arrival. Despite this, when the bill came for two people, we were charged $100 instead of the expected $60.
When I pointed out the mistake, the server (review QR code had a name Bethany) repeatedly brought back the same incorrect bill insisting that we had to pay it, and was completely unable to explain why we were being charged more than what was stated on the Restaurant Week menu we were given, inventing some stuff to get rid of us (“it is still cheaper”, “because it is”, “because you ordered them”, “I was told so”).
This went on in circles, with different staff members coming to the table and asking us to pay the wrong amount, as if we were the problem.
It took more than half an hour, disrupted our schedule, and required intervention from two managers before the issue was finally resolved - and only after the top manager stepped in. This should never happen in a restaurant that positions itself as “top-notch.”
The whole situation was exhausting, unprofessional, and honestly left a very bad impression. I even regretted leaving a tip after the attitude and the process this was handled.
The food itself was good, and the waiter was polite only until it came to solving the problem.
I genuinely wanted to come back and recommend this place to others. But after this experience, I definitely won’t be returning anytime soon.
Customers should not have to fight to be charged the price that is clearly written on the menu!

Went out with my friends the other night for a fun girls night out, I love STK. They have always been very consistent and the atmosphere is fun with an upbeat vibe great music, excellent cocktails.
I had the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection. The shrimp cocktail was amazing and the shrimps were large. I love their bread with the dipping sauce. Our server Christian was amazing. He made sure we got everything we wanted and explained the menu and drinks very thoroughly. I found parking right out front, which was a plus can’t wait to go back. They even have a cool video Photo Booth at the front for your social media, which was awesome ! Oh and the bag of donuts with the dipping sauce or a must for dessert !!!

It is very rare to find bad steakhouse in the middle of most vibrant part of the Manhattan, but I managed to find one! Part of our order were 2 NY Strip Steaks, both was absolutely horrible! Steaks were completely overcooked, burned I should say, "medium rare" was completely "grey" with a paper thin pink line inside, the "medium" one was completely dark grey inside and corners was chewie and basically uneatable on both. The small container with peppercorn side sauce ("recommended" by the server) was very bad and kind of sweet, absolutely not match to steaks at all. And 2 teaspoons of sauce cost me $24... wow! But, my dog was extremely happy with my leftovers, he may write a better review. The food in general was mediocre and not very existing. Mini burger and prawns cocktail for appetizer were not too bad, but nothing special, so is the desert (mini doughnuts with the dipping sauces). Sides were not much different than other parts of the completely destroyed dinner experience. Tater Tots fail flat in flavor and Mac and Cheese not toooooo bad bud definitely way too much cheese on the top.
Very bad dining experience, will not recommend it. There are SO many great food options in Manhattan for any budget, so don't waste your time and money.

My boyfriend and I came here last night for a fancy dancy romantic dinner date just shy of Christmas 🎄 I was looking at steakhouses that had very nice reviews and the STK franchise was a fan favorite. The Midtown location was more convenient to commute to and had reservation availability for Monday evening. Upon entering, it was low lit and purple and there were plenty of people seated and a few waiting to be seated. The indoor decorations were holiday themed and pretty and the music playlist was great; I heard a lot of songs I knew and haven't heard in awhile in a nice remix 🎶 The service was splendid, I believe our waitress was named Corin (I hope I spelled that correctly!). She was very knowledgeable of the menu, very attentive and overall pleasant 🤗 We even met one of the general managers, Edwin, whom was very polite and professional too.
Now the food! I had the surf n turf with brussel sprouts and my boyfriend had the Australian flat iron wagyu steak with mac and cheese. As for the drink, I had the Dragon cocktail, it was very sweet, right up my alley 🍸 And the appetizers consisted of the lil bite burgers and the wagyu pot stickers. Everything was splendid, from the presentation, to the flavors and the portions. Of course nothing runs cheap here, but there are some nice menus for the holidays and the $69 per person fixed menu. There's also other options like Steak Night and such. I 100% recommend this place; the lobster tail and steak had me in a chokehold...and that lobster butter?? 😋🤤 take me back 🙏🏾 But yes! We look forward to going again in the future! ✨

Can't seem to get it together for uber eats orders. Half the time when I order from here my order is wrong and the majority of the time it's when I order the oxtail. Today they sent stew beef im it's place as if it's the same thing. Didn't bother to call me to confirm if I was ok with the substitution. Stew beef is much harder/chewier and CHEAPER cut of beef yet they thought I would just be ok with paying such a high price for a low quality of meat. Even worse , they sent me just 4 small pieces of meat. I promptly filed a complaint.

Food wasnt bad, but had the baked chcicken sandwich and one bite I had a bone. I stupidly thought that was a one off and the next bite had a bone that all but went through the roof of my mouth. So, if you get the chicken, careful...

I have been going to Sophie’s for years and the food never disappoints!! I got the shredded beef stew this time and it was just as good as always, especially with the green sauce, which is a little bit spicy (not too hot though). I will definitely come again.

Went here with my coworkers to get lunch. This is the second location I've been to and the line is a bit long during lunchtime but goes by quickly. Their green sauce is really good and def recommend getting a platter. The shredded beef was tender and was flavorful. The empanada esp the beef one hits every single time!

Be sure to ask for the vegan menu! It’s an actual separate menu & there are lots of options (starters, rolls, specialties, entrees, & sides) and do not miss the vegan dessert options! The smash sundae was SO GOOD!
We got the vegan scallops (made with daikon), the Garden cut roll (avo on top), the vegan dragon roll & edamame (not pictured). I was excited for the scallops and they were beautiful but they don’t taste fishy at all. I think they could add a bit more in that department slash good for those tho hate seaweed/fishy flavors. Garden roll was yummy and the dragon roll was my favorite. I loved the crunchies! Sriracha wasn’t listed on the ingredients tho and seemed to be drizzled underneath?
The real star of the show was the smash sundae. It look exactly the same as the non-vegan one so didn’t feel like we were missing out on certain components and was chocolatey goodness! Highly recommend checking this spot out near Bryant Park and good if you are dining with people who don’t eat vegetables 🤭

Stopped in here with my mom after a day in the city. The service was amazing, food is great, I can't wait to go back. Got a couple mocktails which were very refreshing. Everything was so fresh. Went downstairs to use the restrooms on the way out and there's a cool looking bar downstairs.

Koi is a sushi staple near Bryant Park, perfectly located for a pre‑show dinner in Times Square and a reliable place for midtown dinner.
The crispy rice with spicy tuna is an absolute must, and the walnut shrimp is another crowd favorite—both are exceptional. Just as memorable are the cocktails: creative, balanced, and crafted with the same attention to detail as the food. Together, they elevate the dining experience into something truly special.
Everything on the menu is delicious and beautifully presented. Service is professional and attentive, while the ambiance is open and airy, so you never feel cramped. The trendy vibe makes it a spot where you can dress up or down with ease.
For me it is on the expensive side, but the quality, presentation, and atmosphere make it worth it for a special meal. Reservations are recommended—enjoy!

Really cool atmosphere and excellent service. Was here on a busy weekday afternoon after traveling in from out of town. Was expecting top tier quality food for midtown Manhattan. It honestly fell so short of my expectations as it was just ok with dry appetizers and sushi that was just meh. The prices reflected sushi that would have perfect rice and rich and bold flavors; unfortunately the reality was the opposite. The fact that their lunch specials were burgers kind of threw me off as I thought this was strictly a sushi restaurant. If this wasn't in one of the most competitive restaurant markets in the world I would give it another try but I don't think I will be back.

Dining at Morton’s The Steakhouse on Fifth Avenue was a real pleasure from start to finish. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, with the perfect blend of classic New York steakhouse charm and professional service.
The porterhouse steak was cooked to perfection — juicy, flavorful, and beautifully seared. The French fries were crisp and seasoned just right, while the signature onion bread was warm and irresistible.
For starters, I tried the meatball with burrata and pesto, a surprising and delicious choice that felt both Italian and American in style. Everything was paired with a great selection of wines and cocktails; my dirty martini was perfectly balanced.
Overall, Morton’s remains a benchmark for high-quality dining in New York City — excellent food, attentive staff, and a timeless atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a true steakhouse experience.

It has become a little tradition for me — every time I’m in the USA, I have to visit Morton’s for their amazing shrimp! The food never disappoints — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and always fresh. The steak and sides were also excellent, but the shrimp is always my personal favorite.
The service is top-notch, as always. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made me feel genuinely welcomed. The atmosphere is classic and elegant, yet still relaxed — perfect for both a nice dinner or a special occasion.
Morton’s truly delivers consistent quality and an unforgettable dining experience every single time. Highly recommend it if you love great food, excellent service, and that timeless steakhouse charm.

Went for our anniversary and they couldn't have made us more welcome. Decorated our table and all the staff made a real fuss of us.
Food was excellent with plenty of choices. Watch out for the side dishes as they are pretty large so might only need one between two people.

Absolutely fantastic place! Great for anniversaries. The fillet mignon was tender. The mashed potatoes were excellent (get them loaded!!). I would skip the creamed spinach, it’s just average. The free bead is amazing but the bottom is hard and it makes it difficult to cut apart. Byron was absolutely amazing. He was detailed and thorough and made our night spectacular.

Their breakfast buffet is top-notch, and the wait is quick! This place runs like a well-oiled machine, thanks to the super-efficient staff. You can be in and out in under five minutes—perfect for busy mornings!
Lunch can get a bit hectic with the crowds, but the staff’s impressive speed keeps your wait time to pay under five minutes. It’s a lively atmosphere, and you’ll be ready to tackle your day in no time!
One suggestion: it would be even better if they offered sriracha sauce to spice things up!
However, a minor criticism is the pricing; for instance, a small box of sushi costs $7.50 but has jumped to $9. A little adjustment there would make the experience even better!

There is a station for freshly made sandwiches where you can get egg sandwiches
A station for prepared hot food, fruits, vegetables, oatmeal and a juicing bar. If you are there don’t miss trying their peanut butter wraps!

Amazing Asian Cuisine! By far some of the best Chinese food I have ever enjoyed. The duck was fabulous - crispy and moist. The orange chicken was by far the best I have ever had. It was not sweet, perfectly seasoned with veggies intricately sliced. The Chow Fun noodles were smoky and beef was tender and moist. The service was impressive. Overall, an excellent dining experience. Everyone walked away satisfied and happy!

Ordered the mapo tofu with egg drop soup and the General Tso’s chicken with wonton soup. Portions were on the smaller side, and the mapo tofu was a bit heavy on the chili paste, but the rice and egg drop soup were spot on. The service really stood out: the waiters were excellent and very kind. Overall, a pleasant experience 😊

The food was excellent! especially the Ma Paul Tofu (Mapo Tofu). The flavor was rich and perfectly balanced. I arrived a little before noon, so I was lucky to get a table immediately without waiting. The taste definitely lives up to the Michelin award.

Service really matters in a restaurant, and unfortunately this experience was disappointing.
When the food was served, no napkins or plates were provided. These are very basic things, and having to ask for them takes away from the dining experience. Even more frustrating, our dishes were cleared before we had actually finished eating.
Good service is not just about bringing food to the table — it’s about attention, timing, and respect for the customer. Tips are usually a reflection of the overall experience, and details like these do make a difference.
I hope the management can pay more attention to service standards in the future.

I have been eating at Kathi Roll since 2006 and enjoy the food every time. Very cool ambience and great service inspite of being super busy…. Get a feeling of being in India with old Hindi movie posters and pics of 70’s -80’s movie stars.
Always thumbs up for Kathi Roll !!

This is a pretty solid spot for cheap, reasonably quick Indian food including a decent selection of rolls and some dumplings as well. I got to try the chicken tikka roll and their chai.
The chai was just okay. Still very warm when it came out, so that was good. Flavor was a little bland and maybe watered down but it still tasted solid and was cheap so not bad.
The chicken Kati roll portion was good for the price, which was quite cheap (under $10). It was, however, quite a bit too spicy for me. There was a sort of green curry/seasoning/sauce on it that I just wasn’t the biggest fan of, but that’s just me.
The inside can get super packed very quickly so be aware of that. The line moves quickly though. If you do get a chance to sit down, there is some cool art on the walls although some is cracking/peeling off.

The restaurant was fully packed due to Christmas and New Year’s holiday season. Still the order was made pretty fast. The taste of both steamed chicken dumplings and chicken tikka kathi roll was average. But the amount of chicken in both the dishes was very high. It was very filling. Overall, would recommend for quick snacking if someone is around Bryant Park area.

I got 2 eggs over easy (came with two slices of bread) with a side of fries and chicken noodle soup, and my friends also got the western omelette sandwich, also with a side of fries. And a cup of joe. It was delicious, especially the soup. Perfect breakfast. The bill did come out to around $40 and i wasnt ecstatic to pay over $10 for two eggs but this is life. In terms of service, the servers were prompt to come over every few minutes to take our orders and refill our drinks, though I did feel they were kind of judging me, or at the very least not the friendliest. Though i was also high at the time and potentially paranoid, so who knows. A few other reviews cite unfriendly staff, so maybe im not imagining it. Dont know how much it really matters though- the food was great

Who doesn’t love an old-school coffee shop/diner breakfast?!?
I met up with a friend at the Red Flame in Midtown Manhattan. It was one my of go-to places when I worked in the Calendar Building, across from the main library and Bryant Park.

Their coffee was delicious (also has a kick to it) and comes with complimentary refills. Their tasty oatmeal is unquestionably the best in the Times Square surrounding area, it is at its best before 8:00 a.m, they open at 7. They will serve it with warm milk on the side if asked to. At breakfast, their scrambled eggs came with room temperature home fries on two different dines there. They offer a tasty egg salad sandwich (pictured) at any time of the day. For lunch there I have had their chicken soup which was decent, the broth's flavor was mild. Their hamburger ($14.95) was very ordinary, was dry, and had little flavor. It was cooked well done even though I ordered it cooked medium. They offer a 5% discount for cash payment, remind the cashier if she forgets, that has happened twice to me.

New York is goals when it comes to food. You want to try all the things that you don’t have access to. And obviously leave enough space for a slice of pizza. I found Kallari Tavern as I was exploring locations close to our Broadway show. It was a 10 minute walk and easy to make a reservation on Open Table. They also had a special theater menu with 3 courses. We made a regular reservation and arrived on time. The outside is very inviting with a lovely outdoor seated area and the interior as you walk in is very welcoming. A friendly face greeted us at the door and was prompt to seat us. It feels like we were in mini Greece with the decorations in the restaurant. Our friends arrived. We ordered a Greek Prosecco for the table. It was fresh, crisp and delightful. For our meal, we had a variety at the table. We got a few appetizers with the dip spread with tzatziki, cava and tyroslameti. The eggplant and mashed potato option seemed to be the additional options we considered. The tzatziki and the tyrsolsameti were amazing. The pita was soft, warm and pleasant with the dips. Our friend got the theater menu and had the calamari as an appetizer. For entrees we had a variety of things at the table. I had a the Greek salad which was amazing. It has all the colors of the rainbow, blocks of feta and a wonderful dressing. One friend got the sides of potatoes and asparagus which were satisfying. We had fried calamari at the table. And the friend doing the theater menu has lamb chops. The food was incredible, flavorful and tasty. It didn’t require additions. For dessert- since we had a birthday at the table we ordered pistachio ice cream which came out promptly. However, they also brought out a dish of Bakalava which was a nice surprise. It was soaked in the honey, had a lovely phyllo dough. The ice cream to go with it added a nice cooling effect. The meal was incredible. The ambiance amazing. Our server, Lefteris, who was kind and answered all questions ensured we made it out to our show in time. He brought us a night cap of a sweet wine to help us celebrate our friends birthday. This was hands down the best sit down dining experience in New York. Going to be on my list in New York because of this experience.

Nice place. I really liked the octopus. But spinach linguine had no taste; even though it said has lemon sauce, couldn't taste any lemon and it was very dry.
