Tanoreen is a Palestinian restaurant, if you are familiar with middle eastern food then you will definitely recognise a lot of the dishes served here. From the starters like the leafs in rice, humus, and the levantine rice to lamb chops and there go to the lam shank. The flavour was good and the food was all well seasoned and spiced. We didn't make any reservations however Tanoreen was kind enough to give us a table. I really liked the vibes here and the atmosphere was very chill and relaxed. I would recommend this restaurant, if you haven't tried Palestinian food before and want a high end dining experience here, the staff are super cool and friendly. Just remember to make a reservation.

Very good Middle Eastern cuisine. If you like this cooking then this is a "must try" in Bay Ridge.

100% halal!!! The food service was extremely fast! The customer service was excellent! The hummus, cauliflower, tahini, portobello, the spinach, feta cheese, and meat pie were excellent. The bread was just regular pita and dried up pita. The baby squash was just okay. The french fries were delicious. The bar was open, and they have outdoor seating. 10/10 would recommend!

Divine!! This place lives up to its reputation. I already can’t wait for my next visit so I can try the rest of the dishes. The bread basket itself and pickled veggies were a treat. My friend didn’t really like the halloumi z’aatar bread but I did! Wish there were more pomegranate seeds though. The grilled platter for $34 was a bit smaller than we thought but the flavors made up for it especially the lamb kebab and the rice. Ambience is cozy and welcoming. Staff is nice and efficient. See you after every tennis session this summer!

Hands down, THE BEST PALESTINIAN FOOD IN NYC! Everything on the menu cannot be missed. But we loved the lamb shank, was so flavorful. Hummus, falafel, baba mezze is a must for starting up. Don't forget about the salads too! Cheese knafah and walnut dessert are served best with thier house cardamom spiced coffee ☕️ 😋

Such a lovely experience! I was walking, looking for a place to grab a quick bite, and found this restaurant. It looked so good (also, Italian food 🤌) that I decided to come inside. The music playing was so good! On a Tuesday at 12 pm it wasn't crowded. All of the staff was really nice.
I ordered a delicious peach cocktail 🍸 that was amazing, it was $14. They brought amazing and warm bread with some olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and herbs, free of charge. That might have been my favorite part. Then I ordered the meatballs (appetizer), $8. It was a pretty good serving for one person. Between that and the bread, I was full. But I decided to order some dessert. I went for the chocolate mousse ($7) and I have no regrets. So delicious! Overall, a great experience!

The fried calamari and pizza are the must try. Pasta is a bit salty. We love the valet parking. Overall experience is great and price is pretty affordable. Will definitely go back.

Beautiful place but super crowded. It has a family atmosphere. Almost like you are in a movie. Food was delicious and service was good

The salad and the cocktail were the only things I didn’t took a photo, and were the only things I liked… The veal, the chicken rolatini and the boneless chicken were meh at best. The potatoes on the side were absolutely disgusting, they had a strange taste to them, probably due to the place they were stored or maybe where they were cooked was not completely out of soap… The lights are too bright, but the restroom and the music are good… It wasn’t the worst experience of my life but Im not compelled to come back…

Disappointed to see a neighborhood place continue to go down on value of food service and price.
Taste of China bowl used to be my go to but now they made portions significantly smaller barely any broccoli and meat and as very low quality cuts. Also extremely salty now.
The plate of basically just rice for $25
Either charge accordingly or make your portions of value to price not sure what happened to this place but this is probably my last visit

My friend/roommate goes here often for their peanut butter smoothie that she loves. I've not tried their other foods, but they have a pretty eclectic and varied menu. I always see a lot of deliveries going in and out, and they look like the service has always been good.

Large portions. A good selection of healthy foods to choose from. I had the salmon rice bowl which was delicious. The service is attentive and prompt. The juice is fresh. The place definitely keeps busy, lots of pickups and people in and out in the short time I was there. The atmosphere is upbeat for a small place.

The renovation made less seating with outlets, and less seating in general is problematic. There is no more rear high seating by the old pick-up area, I think it's office space now. The front has no longer couch, I think it was turned into office space or storage. All in all it looks better but not great for people who want to use laptop.

For this Starbucks, the drink was on point. I ordered mocha cookie crumble Frappuccino. The cashier was quick, and the barista got my drink within 5 minutes. Inside the Starbucks feels like it's lacking a bit of space. Otherwise, it's good.

It was very delicious. Portions are very big and satisfying. When you go for a lunch employees are always smiling and giving the best service. Price also affordable. Definitely worth it. Overall a great place to stop in for a drink or a bite. The food is above average for bar fare with both typically indulgent options and healthier ones like salads and wraps with a variety of side choices. The salmon wrap was excellent! Very flavorful and not at all dry. service is spectacular and the atmosphere is friendly.

Layout/atmosphere
*Old converted firehouse with firefighter paraphernalia; bar area with high tables; about 20 TVs; tables and booths in the back
Service
*Fine
Food/drink
*Four Alarm Chili (slow cooked Angus short rib with classic chili sauce & melted cheddar cheese) - Good; meat cooked properly; some spice but not overwhelming; not served at scalding hot temperature
*Combo Sampler (buffalo wings, potato skins, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks & jalapeno poppers) - Good

I'm a Bay Ridge transplant from Eastern Long Island. I knew nothing of the area when I got here 10 years ago.
That's how long I've been going to Salty for. I love it.
Wonderful atmosphere for watching any sporting event or just grabbing dinner. The staff is great and the food is sneaky good. I love Brooklyn Buffalo sauce.
Even if I do move from Bay Ridge, I will come back for Salty. Thankful this place is right around the corner.

This place never fails to amaze me. We went on a day it was so busy (rangers). There was one guy doing it all, cleaning the table, taking checks and giving top notch customer service. The host at the front was so friendly she sat us down as soon as possible. The food is phenomenal and the drinks are amazing. This place is on the top of my list!.

We ordered food and a couple of drinks for the game. There was a country band playing for most of the duration of the stay super loudly. But people seemed into it. The food was your typical bar food. Not the best, not the worst. Service was mediocre. They cheeked in on us, and were nice when they did. Just kind of slow. Had a pleasant experience overall.

If you want the best old school Brooklyn slice it's at Bay ridge Pizza. I've been going there for years and it's like I'm family. Casper (the owner) and the rest of the boys are nice, funny and overall great guys and that really translates into the food. I can go on and on on how good the pizzas, the garlic knots, how good the dinners are but you have to truly go there and experience it. Whenever you're in the Bay ridge area come out grab a slice, a hero or a dinner and I promise you you will not be disappointed!!!

Great mozzarella sticks! The trip to BROOKLYN from JERSEY with my son Ale was EVERYTHING! Bay Ridge Pizza’s pig in a blanket had a dough that just melts in your mouth; reminds you of a pastry but still gives you the kick of pork. And— I will NEVER have a SICILIAN SLICE in Jersey again!!!

THIS IS THE BEST PIZZERIA IVE EVER BEEN TOO.
10/10 Recommend. 😋
Anything and everything you eat here is the best, the quality in every ingredient, the portion size, the variety, etc.
This place is a very inviting and welcoming atmosphere, and is wonderful for people with food allergies such a gluten intolerance and other allergies.
They care for their customers, are very cleanly, and so much more.
In the pictures are: potato croquettes, Sicilian slice, mozzarella sticks, and a grandma slice. ❤️

The food was average. The pizza was O.K. Hero size is good. I ordered a fish entree with pasta. The fish and pasta came together in one tray with a tomato sauce. I requested garlic and oil but they do not offer this typical option. The pasta amount was basic.

Food was delicious at party I went to a couple of months ago.
With that being said...Unfortunately the people they have working the parties aren't that professional or have much experience for the amount of tip people are forced to pay when having an event there. Their uniforms were stained and looked dirty. People had to keep asking to clear the tables, for utensils or drinks. If people are gonna pay $60-65 a person please.give them great service.
The guy Peter/Pedro isn't so friendly and he is rude. He acts more like he thinks he owns the place. Not even the owner behaves the way he did. The owner is much nicer. Perhaps the owner should.have a.talk with him on how to treat the customers.
Please renovate your bathrooms and have more experienced waiters working the parties.

We got slices to go but did not sit down to eat. Wished we did because the place is huge. Has a beautiful outdoor space out back that reminds of a vacation affair. It has nice seating inside as well. Somewhat of a romantic place but also family friendly. Pricey but that is expected. The lady at the counter was so nice, gave her suggestions and told us which ones have alcohol since we were obviously Muslim. Appreciated that.

Came for coffee and dessert. Got the coffee with tia maria, baba rum. Drink was delicious. The dessert was a bit too sweet for me. It was soaked in syrup but way too much. Service and atmosphere was nice. They do have a lot of choices for dessert. Will have to try something else next time.

I had a chill waiter, brought me exactly what I wanted, didn't smother me. A unique ambient, I have to say.
I only ordered the soup of the day, chicken soup for lunch and a cocktail. Both were delicious. The soup a bit salty for my taste, but I had a big breakfast so I was full--and everything else there looked delicious!

I really enjoyed the berry berry napoleon cake. It tasted almost same as the one at Martha’s Bakery ! My family also got strawberry shortcake which was not as good as it looked unfortunately. I wish we had more time to enjoy their outdoor sitting area! It was so pretty with trees and vines above your head.

It’s a diner, but a cozy diner. My friend and I came here early Saturday morning after our walk. I was hungry which is all the time and my friend said this spot isn’t bad for a diner. She order the egg and pepper jack on a roll and I got the Spanish omelette with home fries. It was cheap and fulfilling. I really enjoyed it for a diner and that’s hard to come by where diners make decent food.

Our group came for brunch on a Saturday and felt well looked after. We had children and the staff were very accommodating. We loved the booths and the food was delicious. Our group had a combination of breakfast and lunch options and all dishes were very tasty. The pancakes were our favourite, so light and fluffy! Our server looked after us, making sure our coffee was topped up and we felt very relaxed. Can’t wait to return.

I stopped by yesterday for the first time for a quick breakfast. Since this restaurant has recently changed its name to Mike's Royal Diner, I could see that they are making modifications to the inside of the restaurant. The waitstaff is friendly and the food came out pretty fast. I was amazed on the large portion size of my Italian Omelette. I really got my monies worth with that meal since it filled me up for breakfast and lunch! They are making changes to the prices on the menu, but from what I see it is pretty darn reasonable. The only thing is that the bathroom is a tad small and there really isn't too much room. Overall, I would definitely come here again the next time I am passing through the area.
