4 Star Rating This place was there on my list for a while and finally went there to celebrate my birthday. We drove down from Philly and called a few hours in advance and made the reservation. It was easy to find street parking. We were seated promptly and the food arrived quickly too. Food was good but not outstanding. Service was great and the owners were very warm. Definitely worth a try.

5 Star Rating Just went for restaurant week and it was great! The food was delicious and plentiful. Loved the fried cauliflower. It was tender in the inside and crispy on the outside. The sauce was also very flavorful and creamy. I ordered the lamb shanks was tender and paired very well with the yogurt dip. Finished it off with the infamous kunefeh. Very cheesy, hearty and super filling. Ate a bit but had to take most of it home. Very large portions. Thumbs 👍

5 Star Rating The best kanafeh in NYC - worth the trek to brooklyn - you should go! Other dishes that were great include the grilled meats, Fetti with extra harissa, and musakhan. Get the labne it's also so good! But the cocktails are not it - but really this is a Palestinian restaurant...they're not cocktail experts.

5 Star Rating I love to read reviews and see real pics of food and Gino’s did not disappoint!! The food was so flavorful and I was debating between the Filet of Sole but glad I got scallops with the spinach risotto! Tasted amazing and hot out the skillet! The calamari was delightful and I splurged to do a drink and desert! Only hate half of all but the taste that day and leftovers were delicious! Will be back for the Sole! My server was delightful as well. The whole place gave me that “Nonnas” from Netflix vibe.

5 Star Rating Gino’s is a well-established restaurant in Bay Ridge, renowned for its authentic classic Italian cuisine. As a popular dining destination, reservations may be advisable due to potential wait times, but the exceptional quality of the food makes it well worth the wait. The creamy penne vodka, in particular, was a standout dish.

5 Star Rating Been to this place twice for both my birthdays back in 2019 once and 2 years later 2021 again. So 6 years ago I first went and 4 years ago I last went there lol. But overall this place is so good no doubt at all. Outta ten the food and service a straight ten outta ten no doubt at all. Their chicken parmagiana is so good including their calamari which is my no 1 favorite Italian appetizer I “MUST HAVE” whenever going to an Italian restaurant lol. But once again this place straight ten outta ten again and definitely recommend it.

5 Star Rating Gino’s is everything you want in a classic Brooklyn Italian restaurant. The food was outstanding — I had the baked clams (perfectly seasoned, crispy on top and juicy inside) and a veal parm that was spot-on, cheesy and saucy in the best way. Portions are generous and the flavors taste straight out of an old-school Italian kitchen. The service was warm and attentive without being rushed, and the atmosphere feels like family — lively but comfortable. You can tell this place is loved by locals and visitors alike. Definitely one of the best meals I’ve had in Bay Ridge, and I’ll be back again for sure. Highly recommend!

3 Star Rating I was recommended to this location by a friend, food was great, but when I got home and look at my receipt I was charged a POS technology fee. I don’t understand why I was charged that when I paid cash. They charged me $1.36 POS technology fee. I can only imagine how many other customers they did this too. I’ve eaten at numerous restaurants and never had a POS technology fee . That’s not right.

5 Star Rating Had some lunch at Nature's Grill and it is one of the better restaurants in Bay Ridge. I like going here, even though the items are a little pricier, because they truly taste better and fresher. Not sure how much of that is the marketing or the way they present themselves, but the food definitely tastes healthier! I ordered the El Mexicano wrap, which is more of a burrito. It tastes better than most of the burritos you can get from any Mexican restaurant. I always order this item, since it hits the spot of being filling without feeling fast food-y. The wraps come with a side of bluecorn tortilla chips and a grapefruit slice, which also feel last fast food-y. The meal is pretty filling and with some hot sauce, the flavor is delicious. They also have a nice kids menu offering of a chicken and cheese wrap, that comes with the same sides and a fruit smoothie. The smoothie is a big hit with my family and the chicken and cheese wrap is simple, but delicious. I recommend coming here if you want something above the normal fast casual fare.

2 Star Rating The renovation made less seating with outlets, and less seating in general is problematic. There is no more rear high seating by the old pick-up area, I think it's office space now. The front has no longer couch, I think it was turned into office space or storage. All in all it looks better but not great for people who want to use laptop. The refill mugs are dirty, disgusting! They give you a "clean new" mug but, I suggest you really look at the mug before you sip, wish I knew before risking hepatitis A.

4 Star Rating I've been here a few times in the past 3 years and I went today with my mother for lunch, and I was not dissapointed. We both ordered the lentil soup and chicken adana special and it definitely hit the spot. The soup was delicious and the kebab was cooked well and it was juicy. I just wish that they would update the interior of the restaurant. It looks very outdated and even a little run down in my opinion. It doesn't help that they have competition in the neighborhood, such as Istanbul Bay on 80th Street and Ay Kebab on 86th Street. Both of them also have renovated interiors and serve food that is up to par with Hazar. But if I'm being honest, the employees at Ay Kebab acted like they didn't want to be there the last time I ate there. Speaking of employee attitudes there was a cashier/waiter at Hazar that was extremely friendly and courteous so they have that over Ay Kebab. I haven't been to Istanbul Bay in Bay Ridge in over three years but I remember the workers being friendly and their lamb and rice tasting great. Sorry for rambling so much but my point is you should definitely give Hazar a try, especially if you're craving turkish food on a budget.

2 Star Rating Honestly, one of the grossest things I’ve eaten in the neighborhood. I had two “OK” experiences with this place, so today, I decided to try ordering online for delivery. Their online menu is incomplete, and I mistook the pie I wanted for something else. I took ownership of that and prayed it wasn’t terrible. It was. The business called me to confirm the size of the pie, so it got off to a bad start. When I realized she said “Buffalo chicken,” I immediately called her back and said, “listen, I think I put the wrong thing through because the menu appears incomplete. I want a chicken, bacon, ranch.” She puts me on-hold, angry arguing in the background, and she comes back on the line to tell me it would be an additional fee to change the order they hadn’t even started. I let her know it was the same price and I wasn’t paying a fee. Well, I got it, and the chicken tasted awful, the pie was doughy, and I threw it in the trash and wrote it off to a bad time. This probably could have been avoided if they just switched my order over to the thing I’d had before and trusted, but here we are. I definitely won’t be back.

4 Star Rating I’ve visited this spot on several occasions, and it never disappoints when it comes to food! For breakfast, I love ordering their omelette with a fresh croissant and coffee or sometimes I treat myself to their fluffy pancakes. Everything is made to order and always delicious. Lunch is just as satisfying—the chicken panini is flavorful, the burger is juicy. And don’t even get me started on the cakes… rich, moist, and beautifully presented. I’m giving four stars instead of five for a couple of reasons. Sometimes there’s a bit of a wait at the cashier either to place an order or be seated, which can be a little frustrating if you're short on time. And lately, due to construction on the upper floor, I haven’t been able to sit at my favorite table under the chandelier. It’s a small thing, but I do miss that cozy corner. Still, the food and atmosphere make it well worth the visit.

I popped into Omonia Cafe on Broadway for a mid-afternoon treat and was immediately charmed by the warm, retro vibe—complete with hanging lights and relaxing outdoor seating that felt like a mini escape. The staff were genuinely friendly and quick to offer suggestions, which is always a plus when the menu is this vast. I ended up ordering a slice of baklava cheesecake (rich, creamy, and fabulously indulgent), plus one of their berry mousse cakes—which wasn’t overly sweet and had a lovely, delicate texture. Both hit the spot perfectly.
