If you’re a vegetarian, the veggie burger is pretty good for less than $10. The fried onions made it so tasty. My family ordered their own burgers and crinkle cut fries.
The server here was so sweet. She brought our food to the table and genuinely said, Welcome to Shake Shack. Another server came around checking on every table and even brought a baby seat to a family who just arrived.
I really appreciated the kindness, it goes a long way to make someone’s day.

We walk by Shake Shack a lot. The first time we entered there, Sarah greeted us kindly. We felt very welcomed and all the staff were friendly. Sarah worked diligently to guide us place an order and bring us our order.
The burgers and drinks were delicious. I appreciated the fresh vegetables on the burgers so my picky little eaters will eat veggies together with the tasty cheese and hamburger patties. The tables were clean. Definitely coming back for more.

This place is a fantastic burger 🍔 joint! Just like all of their spots in NYC 🗽, Shake Shack on the UWS serves a wonderful selection of delicious 🤤 burgers, sandwiches 🥪, fries 🍟, and more! Their crown 👑 jewel 💎 is definitely the shakes ! 🥤 Get the Vanilla Shake - it's absolutely amazing! 🤩 Service is super quick. ⏲️ I wish I came here more often!

This is a great Shake Shack. As soon as we entered the manager Natasha greeted us at the door and lead us to the kiosk to order our food. The restaurant is clean and the food was delicious. It was my birthday and Natasha made me feel very special. I will definitely be returning here, and I love this area.

Beautiful and delicate food, beautiful balanced flavours and authentic. Some of the most tender and tasty outside of Japan.
Cannot understand the negative reviews other than to think they don’t know what good quality Japanese food is.

The Chicken Teriyaki was perfectly cooked—definitely among the best I’ve had. The "Sushi Regular," with eight pieces of sushi and one tuna roll, was fresh and flavorful, though the wasabi inside was a bit unexpected. The seaweed salad was delicious and beautifully presented.
We were treated to complimentary Konacha tea, though I would have preferred it to be served during the meal rather than at the end. The service was attentive, and the ambiance was cozy, enhanced by beautiful wall art. The only downside was the limited dessert menu.

We have dined at Sushi of Gari on the Upper West Side twice, once in the restaurant a long time ago, and then again for takeout tonight. The sushi has been great on both occasions. It's not my favorite Japanese in Manhattan, but along with Sushi Yasaka, it is definitely the best Japanese cuisine on the Upper West Side. Gari is the more formal experience while Sushi Yasaka is more laid back. Both places are great.

*Okay granted this is partially our fault buttttt - we asked the waiter for a recommendation for sake. The waiter provided us 3 small samples to try but he did not offer to share the price of the bottle nor did we ask. When the bill came, we found out it cost us $220!!! I felt like this was dishonest and put a damper on our otherwise wonderful meal.
Ambiance (5/5): The establishment is pretty small but very organized and neat, clean, and welcoming! We were seated next to the chef's table and loved watching the preparation right in front of our eyes. The chefs worked together seamlessly to prepare the various dishes with special garnishes, sauces, and presentation.
Service (4/5): We were warmly greeted at the door. Warm towels for wiping at the beginning of the meal and during the middle course.
He went out of his way to ask us in advance if we wanted a birthday dessert since there was only 2 left in the back so he could reserve it. They came out with a sparkler candle for us! Free green tea with the dessert.
Food (5/5): We chose the combo omakase for $180 (4 sashimi & 8 sushi). Every single dish was fresh and delicious! Presentation was exceptional and the tastes were infused with art.

After nearly 20 years, Gari remains one of our family’s favorite omakase places! The fresh fishes, their rice and unique sauces make Gari’s sushi among the best. Service is impeccable.

We went here specifically to try the Californian style pizza, which was very delicious. Shared a medium size pizza between 2 people, it was pretty big and filling. We also ordered the Cobb salad to share- it was super tasty and the portion was huge! Our waiter Jeff was very friendly and helpful, we had a lovely time. In total we paid 70$ (including 12$ tip).

One of the few remaining UNO's that I found in New York state. Nice local, pub-like feel, with a small bar and plenty of tables. Deep dish pizza at UNO's has been one of my favorites for years and the food was consistently delicious once again.

Went for my mom's Bday, Sat in the back. They were SEVERELY understaffed and made it clear. Despite that, the server was so amazing and attentive. There were 2 people working the entire place and they worked so hard. Bless their heart. Please hire more people.
Food was amazing btw! Drinks were mehhhh. I wouldn't get more drinks but pizza was so good!

Went with a girlfriend I hadn't seen in a long time and they didn't rush us. The service was great and the food was delicious! I got the eggplant Parm and is was sooo good. My friend got the Sole and liked it but said it needed a break bit of salt. For dessert we got chocolate pecan pie and it was to die for!! Definitely recommend!!!

The food was delicious—loved the Bronzino, salmon teriyaki, iced coffee, and green salad.
Service was impressively fast, even though the place was packed. I did have a minor stomach ache afterward, though I’m not sure it was related to the meal. Regardless, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was great.

Our friend’s birthday Brunch this Sunday (3/16) was beyond what any of us expected! We had such an amazing experience from the food, (brisket hash, steak burger, chicken poppers and more) being all delicious, to the strong and tasty drinks! We had passion fruit margaritas the whole time and Sangria which was Perfection. The best part was Alan, the owner, coming over to check in and joking with us, making us feel very welcomed and special. Our server Junior was attentive and friendly smiling the whole time, putting up with all 9 of us Locas. We will definitely be back!

Delicious high quality food where everything is gluten free. I wanted to order everything in the menu.
I had the Baja salad with the crispy chicken and my boyfriend had the avocado toast. Everything tasted like it was made from scratch. The gluten free crispy chicken was crunchy on the outside and super tender on the inside. The salad dressing was very tasty. My boyfriend’s avocado and toast came with a delicious side salad, and the vegan brioche was tasty and substantial.
I would definitely be back to try other things in the menu. I really wanted to try the gluten free soft pretzel, but I was too full.

Where do I begin? Tonight we came in and sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered a few appetizers to split (Popcorn chicken, Mini Franks and the crispy Japanese potatoes). At first they said they were already out of the Mini Franks but the gods (and Alan) must have heard our pleas. Alan came by to check on us and heard my stories about how where I live, they don’t have the GF options and how I’ve been wanting to try this place. He was so generous and went above and beyond. Offered to send me back to Nebraska with a bag of bagels packaged to travel. Pics attached about the customer service. I will definitely be making this a regular stop when I’m in NYC!

Gluten-free soft pretzel, you have to try it! We came here for drinks and snacks. They let us sit in the restaurant for a while after it was closed. My only complaint would be the limited hours. It’s open. The staff was very nice. The drinks were great the Mezcal drink was the favorite. It is spicy! I would definitely come back for lunch or dinner. It’s pricey, but everything is gluten-free.!

Just had a great dinner here! Went here for a friends reunion, 11 ppl & had a lovely time! Service and food was great! Owner was very friendly and accommodating. Never felt rushed or puahed out. We were there from 5ish-830?. Portions were great, prices very reasonable, esp for kosher, yummy and creative drinks. Orderd a bunch of apps and mains. We had an amazing time! Definitely would come back!

Quick slice of pizza.
Good flavor, they heat it up well and have various toppings and extra herbs and spices like crushed red pepper flaked you can add.
A bit pricey at a bit over $4 per slice though.

Great pizza. I raised my eyebrow a bit since it was a bit more pricey than I expected but the pizza ended up being well worth it. I ate 2 slices and they were both very tasty. Chatted with the staff. They were knowledgeable about how to make the pie and the history of the restaurant itself. Walked outta there a happy and full guy.

Rays pizza feels like our second home! I go there with my toddler every day for lunch, and it’s always such a pleasure. The space is clean, spacious, and so welcoming—it’s truly amazing. We absolutely love Eliana, the pizza guys, and the entire team—Jose, Hanni, and everyone else make us feel like family. The food is consistently delicious, and my toddler loves it just as much as I do. There’s something special about this place that keeps us coming back. Love it, love it, love it!”

Found this place after visiting the AMNH. Could not figure out if this was a Mexican restaurant or an American fusion restaurant. There were burgers and sandwiches on the menu, a few taco options and plenty of fajita options. I opted for the Cajun Jambalaya which was delicious (there's more protein than rice so if you're looking for rice, order an additional side). The Cilantro Signature margarita was fresh and had just the right amount of alcohol (opt for the Tajin rim). Daughter had the chicken tacos and stated they were typical. She did, however, rave about the guacamole. Staff was attentive and service was quick.

They have a good menu if you come for brunch. Among our orders were eggs a la rachera, eggs benedict which was delicious and some nachos. The prices are affordable, they had good music, the food arrived on time and the service was good.
I loved that they have envelopes with wipes on the table so you can clean your hands, I thought it was quite original. The decoration of the restaurant made me feel comfortable.

Stopped by Cilantro NYC for some after dinner drinks, chips & salsa, and some takeout for our son. The decor here is really unique and cool. The service at the bar was great, and my son LOVED his takeout chicken quesadillas! We will definitely return for a full sit-down meal when mexican cuisine calls the next time.

This location of Starbucks is really nice - I stopped by this weekend while on Columbus Avenue to do some shopping on the Upper West Side, and I had a good experience!! The store is very clean + well-kept, and the staff were kind when I visited. My coffee was made exactly as I ordered it, and the bakery item I purchased was heated accordingly. On another note, this Starbucks is conveniently located by The Strand's Upper West Side location, which is a perk!!

Had made reservations for NYE which had a Prix Fixe menu with a decent split of vegetarian and meat selection across three courses. We went for the early seating and it was relatively quiet on a rainy last day of the year.
Alex, our server, was friendly and was kind enough to offer us a glass of wine on the house, after he felt bad having charged full price for our little one on the Prix Fixe menu.
Food overall was pretty decent. There was a Pappardelle pasta for our little one, and a few great options for meat lovers, including a Rib-eye steak which unfortunately lacked flavor, in spite of adding their rather heavy garlic and heavy cream sauce. The lobster tail was thoroughly enjoyed by the seafood lover on our table, and was enough to knock a person out on the table next to us, who possibly had a shell fish allergy. We were glad to see the person doing fine though, towards the end of the meal. Definitely not a nice way to end the year!
Noise levels were on the average end throughout our time there, and their menu and service were pretty good, definitely on the expensive end though. Will definitely visit again sometime in the near future!

A great little Italian restaurant. Fun and unique atmosphere, dishes that are suitable for vegetarians. The service is exceptional. Great food we enjoyed it. Perfect pesto gnocchi, excellent grilled cauliflower and a pasta dish with small meatballs in a particularly delicious sauce.

I went to Tarallucci & Vino today with my grandpa for a nice brunch, I had the delicious bacon quiche, one of my favorites from their brunch menu and our waiter Pasqualino suggested we pair it with a glass of Pecorino. The whole staff was warm and helpful, from the moment we stepped in the host Ari welcomed us with a beautiful smile! I highly recommend it both for brunch and dinner!

Tarallucci e Vino on the Upper West Side is a fantastic choice for a savory breakfast, offering both good food and an excellent dining experience. The cozy, inviting ambiance makes it an ideal spot for a relaxed morning meal, and the Farro e Quinoa is a standout dish—surprisingly good with its nutty farro and chewy quinoa, offering a satisfying. I opt for over easy eggs on top. Beyond that, the restaurant's Italian-inspired menu likely includes other options like avocado toast, quiche, French toast, and pastries. If you enjoy a tranquil, casual setting with good food, Tarallucci e Vino is an ideal choice for a breakfast on the Upper West Side. Whether you're a regular or a first-time guest, you can expect warm, accommodating service that enhances the overall dining experience.

From the very first time I visited Tarallucci, I was greeted by Martina’s warm smile and welcoming presence. She truly embodies the heart and soul of this wonderful place. Not only is the food and wine exceptional, but Martina’s kindness and hospitality make every visit special. Her reputation in the area is well deserved, as she consistently goes above and beyond to ensure an outstanding experience for every guest.
Even if it weren’t for the delicious dishes or the exquisite wine, I would return just to enjoy a delightful conversation with Martina. Her warmth and genuine care create an atmosphere that keeps me coming back time and time again. Tarallucci is a gem, and Martina is a big reason why!
Highly recommend!
