Good spot for a quick bite. The burgers are tasty and consistent with other Shake Shack locations, and the shakes never disappoint. Service can be a bit slow during peak hours, and seating inside is limited. Staff are generally friendly, however when I asked for a drink without ice, the woman at the counter reacted rudely, which made the service feel less friendly.

I ordered a brownie batter hot cocoa shake and French fries today.
The shake was decent. I did get a few small pieces of broken down brownie crumbs. The fries were pretty nice actually. It was crispy even when it’s cold. Delicious!
The staff were nice and friendly. The layout of the restaurant was kind of strange. Takeout was tucked in all the way to the back that I had to walk past all the people who were dining there. I just think I would like people constantly walking passing by when I’m enjoying my food.
This Shake Shack has wine. Maybe I’ll come back and try it next time.

Food was good! The only sad thing is was litteraly fighting other people for the table. There is no real system for it and I was on my own so couldn’t wait for my food and get a table at the same time.

Thank you for being kid, friendly, and offering coloring pages and pencils for kids to draw and we’re having baby seats in the basement area room. Very nice to see family, friendly places, especially next to a museum and park.

Really enjoyed the burgers! The strawberry lemonade was too sweet for my taste but other than that, the flavor was spot on. It’s a great stop before or after the Natural History museum for hungry adults or kids.

Visited this establishment based on a recommendation. The quality of the food is really good but the portions are relatively small for the price.
Service is decent and the servers are friendly and attentive. Took a bit for them to take my order.
I ordered a roll and requested to add avocado. I wasn’t aware the avocado would cost me $2 on top of the price of the roll. I wish they would have shared that piece of information with me.
This is a relatively small spot, great for a quick bite and conversation since the ambient music is soft.

A hidden gem I am so glad I found. The service was pleasant and the food was delicious. The chicken pad Thai was one of the most flavorful I have had in a while and the sushi was so fresh. The Panko Chicken Buns were a great starter! I can’t wait to come back for more.

Wow! I can’t think of a better word. Small, intimate, and really delectable offerings. Nothing too complicated and nothing too ordinary. We ordered the Trio Sashimi and it came with a rice melange that was unexpected with mushrooms and other savory bits, and the Pink Lady that was so fresh and a perfect balance of flavors. I started imagining if I could ever have a private party here. It is so lovey!

Amber on the Upper West Side has been one of our go to spots for many years. We probably order take-out more than we dine in but the sushi and service is absolutely fantastic in either setting. Amber is definitely our favorite sushi spot in the surrounding area. We have never really had a bad experience here in the 10 plus years that we've frequented the place. Highly recommend.

Didn’t have a reservation on a Sunday night, so had to sit at the sushi bar. It was actually wonderful to see so many chefs working to create the beautiful dishes here. Very delicate sushi with interesting toppings, like a horseradish sauce. Our order was quite simple, but I was able to see firsthand some of the creations being prepared. Be warned: this place is not inexpensive. But the sushi is a notch above. Our kind waitress was very well informed, so ask questions! Bonus: Japanese toilets in the restrooms!

Always my neighborhood go-to. The best sushi in the area by far. Always consistent, authentic, comfort food, fresh fish, a New York classic. Not stuffy like all the omakase spots popping up all over, but much more high end and elegant than the other Japanese restaurants around. It’s the perfect in between, and the quality is always there!

This place is so easy to miss..I’m actually not sure it has a sign out front. It probably does but I just went in without looking because my friends told me about it. Seems that that doesn’t slow down business. I went on a Thursday night an hour before closing and although the space
isn’t large, it was packed. Lots of energy. I sat at the bar and had my usual …uni and fatty tuna. Both were fabulous (although the uni was $24 each vs the $15 I usually pay at other sushi houses). Can’t say that it was better than those for the price. I had a salmon sushi and immediately noticed
that there were none of those white veins (the typical grain that you see normally). I’ve never seen such a uniform slice of salmon. And it was as velvety as it could be. Along with it I had the seared king salmon belly. Truly wonderful flavors along with the richness of the species. The slight char offered a nice flavorful accent. I had the salmon roe only because I’ve never seen such large beads. Not sure that the flavor was different from normal sized roe but the texture was enjoyable. Finally, I had the hijiki seaweed salad. It was unlike any seaweed I’ve had. Don’t know that I can describe it as it was a totally new flavor for me. Perhaps a little earthy. Again, hard to describe but worth the experience. Sitting at the counter where 6 chefs were actively plying their trade, I saw some very uniquely presented sushi and maki rolls that made me want to try EVERYTHING. But I didn’t. I wasn’t that hungry and I would have departed with a $300 bill just for me WITHOUT beverages. I will definitely return. It is not common to have a sushi menu absolutely replete with creative options as could be found here. Great staff too. Very attentive and informative.

Beautiful and delicate food, beautiful balanced flavours and authentic. Some of the most tender and tasty outside of Japan.
Cannot understand the negative reviews other than to think they don’t know what good quality Japanese food is.

I did a pizza-making class at Pizzeria Uno’s and honestly had a great time. Our instructor, Joe, was awesome, super knowledgeable but also really funny, which made the whole experience relaxed and fun instead of feeling like a formal class. He explained everything clearly and kept everyone engaged the entire time.
They had so many toppings to choose from, way more than I expected, and it was fun being able to make a personal pan pizza exactly how I wanted it. The whole thing felt hands-on and easy to follow
We got the class through Groupon, and it was definitely worth it for the price. Good food, good atmosphere, and a fun experience overall. I’d absolutely do it again and would recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different.

Me and my lady came in on a very wet stormy day after visiting the American Museum of Natural History. We were in a bit of a rush to make it to our next attraction and Mr. Joe Torres was incredible. Got a seated and comfortable with a drink in front of us and only a couple minutes. He was right there if we needed anything and so was the rest of the staff. We grabbed the manicotti and a small deep dish, which were both excellent. We wanted to make it known that Joe was above and beyond and so friendly and personable. He made the experience so much better. Thanks Joe, staff, and UNO’s!

The food was amazing. My kids loved their meals. Everything was properly prepared. The customer service was good. It wasn’t a long way for the food and the order was correct and it was served hot wonderful staff at this restaurant. Very good Chicago style pan pizza with lots of toppings on pan bked pizza. Numerous Uno is what I always get at every Uno restaurants. Dice tomatoes, sausage, pepperoni, mozzarella, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, parmesan, Romano cheese. Highly recommended. 10" deep dish was too much for 2 people, recommended individual size to share instead.

—Best service I’ve ever received in a kosher restaurant in New York City—
Came to this location is walk-ins for a spontaneous lunch. Two people.
We’re looking for a good kosher eats around West side of Central Park and thank God, we found this place.
We were sat down within half a minute of entering the restaurant.
Server was phenomenal at her job. She literally heard us talking about things we’d like and came back with them immediately. No questions asked.
We ordered a pizza filleti de Pomodoro was great.
Got the gluten-free penne Rosa Rosa sauce was amazing
Got white sangria with passionfruit extract and red sangria with cinnamon both were a little lacking of alcohol in my opinion, but were great for the middle off the day.
Shared the stuffed mushrooms- would be an excellent choice for people who love eggplant Parmesan style food
Highly recommend
Will be back bh!!!

I was disappointed with how long food took to come out and restaurant was not as busy. Service could had been more on point instead of us asking for status on food, being seated next to the cold entrance when back of the restaurant was open. Food wasn't that great. It felt very much like take out. Grilled chicken was more rubbery and hard. Enchiladas were not even spicy as it was suggested by waitress and menu. Steak request was not acknowledged. I believe this couldn't be a way better experience for almost $200 priced amount.

Super chill spot in the middle of the hustle to kick back and grab authentic Mexican food for a decent price. I enjoyed the skirt steak and curry shrimp. The avocado dip was mad refreshing and lite on the stomach. Love the layout and vibe of the restaurant. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Drinks were lively, sprite and refreshing!

I love Mexican food. This restaurant had promise. The host was friendly, we sat outside, and despite the heat it was lovely. We were excited to try the corn knowing it is in season and I looked forward to the birria tacos because they are not on every menu. The corn tasted like it was previously frozen which was a big disappointment. The tacos were decent. Service overall was good - food was served quickly and we never had an empty glass.

Had made reservations for NYE which had a Prix Fixe menu with a decent split of vegetarian and meat selection across three courses. We went for the early seating and it was relatively quiet on a rainy last day of the year.
Alex, our server, was friendly and was kind enough to offer us a glass of wine on the house, after he felt bad having charged full price for our little one on the Prix Fixe menu.
Food overall was pretty decent. There was a Pappardelle pasta for our little one, and a few great options for meat lovers, including a Rib-eye steak which unfortunately lacked flavor, in spite of adding their rather heavy garlic and heavy cream sauce. The lobster tail was thoroughly enjoyed by the seafood lover on our table, and was enough to knock a person out on the table next to us, who possibly had a shell fish allergy. We were glad to see the person doing fine though, towards the end of the meal. Definitely not a nice way to end the year!
Noise levels were on the average end throughout our time there, and their menu and service were pretty good, definitely on the expensive end though. Will definitely visit again sometime in the near future!

The Milling Room is good, the decor is interesting enough, the staff attentive and the food well presented and cooked. It's sort of a "hearty meal" in that there's plenty on your plate and lots of meat. It's actually a very good restaurant and if you are nearby it's a worthwhile choice... In general the meat seemed more compelling than the salmon which is what I had.. In general though it wasn't very differentiated or creative...

From what I understand, they’re going to start a remodel on the interior of this restaurant and in the meantime, they have a pizza baked at the curb outside by some fantastic chef, but when we got there at 8:45 the pizza was off the menu as they ran out! That left us very few choices for us to eat. we had hibachi which was very good And peas on straciatella. They didn’t even have bread! the bread that they did end up bringing us after we complained a few times was hard as a rock. I hope the remodel goes well. I don’t wanna dash this business to bits, but you should not go there until they’re done remodeling mid July. We left very hungry.

My wife and I have both worked in the service industry, so it takes a lot for us to leave a negative review. We go out for Thanksgiving dinner every year in New York, and unfortunately our experience at The Milling Room this year was the worst we’ve had.
The service was the biggest disappointment. We were never offered bread, which we only realized at the end of our meal when we noticed other tables receiving baskets. Our pre-dinner cocktails were never cleared, even though we had finished them well before our entrées arrived. We actually wanted to order wine with dinner, but ended up having to flag down a server halfway through our main course just to get someone’s attention. Even our table was missing a light—small detail, but noticeable in a dim room where every surrounding table had one.
The food itself was good, but we were surprised that the $115 Thanksgiving prix fixe didn’t include traditional sides. The turkey came with only potatoes, and we were charged an additional $45 for stuffing, brussels sprouts, and cranberry sauce. The portion sizes—especially the tiny serving of cranberry sauce—made the $14-per-side pricing feel unreasonable. It’s hard to understand how a Thanksgiving prix fixe can consist of turkey and a spoonful of potatoes unless you pay extra for basics.
In total, we paid $450 for two people and left feeling deeply disappointed. We’ve had far better Thanksgiving meals in NYC for less—and with far better service. As neighborhood residents and longtime customers of The Milling Room, we expected a memorable, well-executed holiday dinner. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short.

I found The Milling Room as i was searching for somewhere to carry my wife for her birthday. Usually, when I give a review, I speak firstly about the sights and the sound, but this time, I need to mention the chef. I had the steak. It impacted every one of my senses. The aroma is intoxicating, and it tastes superb. All in all, it's one of the best, if not the best, steak I have ever had. Complimented by romantic setting and the professional staff. You made our visit an experience. Thank you

Milling room is a very underrated gem tucked away in UWS, right across from the museum. I've gone for both happy hour (every day from 4:30-6:30pm) and dinner: both are excellent. Happy hour is in the front at the bar, the menu is solid and the bartenders are always on their A game. Dinner is in their majestic, large dining room in the back and is one of the most visually appealing places to dine in the city (in my humble opinion).
For happy hour, get yourself a $10 cocktail and pair it with their burger and fries combo. The cocktail is super high quality and a great deal considering that an equivalent elsewhere runs for $15 or higher. The burger is up there with the greats. Will def back back here many more times.
