I ordered a brownie batter hot cocoa shake and French fries today.
The shake was decent. I did get a few small pieces of broken down brownie crumbs. The fries were pretty nice actually. It was crispy even when it’s cold. Delicious!
The staff were nice and friendly. The layout of the restaurant was kind of strange. Takeout was tucked in all the way to the back that I had to walk past all the people who were dining there. I just think I would like people constantly walking passing by when I’m enjoying my food.
This Shake Shack has wine. Maybe I’ll come back and try it next time.

If you’re a vegetarian, the veggie burger is pretty good for less than $10. The fried onions made it so tasty. My family ordered their own burgers and crinkle cut fries.
The server here was so sweet. She brought our food to the table and genuinely said, Welcome to Shake Shack. Another server came around checking on every table and even brought a baby seat to a family who just arrived.
I really appreciated the kindness, it goes a long way to make someone’s day.

The food taste really good!
I asked for my burguer with no bun and it came amazing prepared! Totally recommend! At the end the lady that works at the store (Madina) told me that my drink was refillable, what was a very good plus!!!

We walk by Shake Shack a lot. The first time we entered there, Sarah greeted us kindly. We felt very welcomed and all the staff were friendly. Sarah worked diligently to guide us place an order and bring us our order.
The burgers and drinks were delicious. I appreciated the fresh vegetables on the burgers so my picky little eaters will eat veggies together with the tasty cheese and hamburger patties. The tables were clean. Definitely coming back for more.

This place is so easy to miss..I’m actually not sure it has a sign out front. It probably does but I just went in without looking because my friends told me about it. Seems that that doesn’t slow down business. I went on a Thursday night an hour before closing and although the space
isn’t large, it was packed. Lots of energy. I sat at the bar and had my usual …uni and fatty tuna. Both were fabulous (although the uni was $24 each vs the $15 I usually pay at other sushi houses). Can’t say that it was better than those for the price. I had a salmon sushi and immediately noticed
that there were none of those white veins (the typical grain that you see normally). I’ve never seen such a uniform slice of salmon. And it was as velvety as it could be. Along with it I had the seared king salmon belly. Truly wonderful flavors along with the richness of the species. The slight char offered a nice flavorful accent. I had the salmon roe only because I’ve never seen such large beads. Not sure that the flavor was different from normal sized roe but the texture was enjoyable. Finally, I had the hijiki seaweed salad. It was unlike any seaweed I’ve had. Don’t know that I can describe it as it was a totally new flavor for me. Perhaps a little earthy. Again, hard to describe but worth the experience. Sitting at the counter where 6 chefs were actively plying their trade, I saw some very uniquely presented sushi and maki rolls that made me want to try EVERYTHING. But I didn’t. I wasn’t that hungry and I would have departed with a $300 bill just for me WITHOUT beverages. I will definitely return. It is not common to have a sushi menu absolutely replete with creative options as could be found here. Great staff too. Very attentive and informative.

The Chicken Teriyaki was perfectly cooked—definitely among the best I’ve had. The "Sushi Regular," with eight pieces of sushi and one tuna roll, was fresh and flavorful, though the wasabi inside was a bit unexpected. The seaweed salad was delicious and beautifully presented.
We were treated to complimentary Konacha tea, though I would have preferred it to be served during the meal rather than at the end. The service was attentive, and the ambiance was cozy, enhanced by beautiful wall art. The only downside was the limited dessert menu.

Beautiful and delicate food, beautiful balanced flavours and authentic. Some of the most tender and tasty outside of Japan.
Cannot understand the negative reviews other than to think they don’t know what good quality Japanese food is.

We have dined at Sushi of Gari on the Upper West Side twice, once in the restaurant a long time ago, and then again for takeout tonight. The sushi has been great on both occasions. It's not my favorite Japanese in Manhattan, but along with Sushi Yasaka, it is definitely the best Japanese cuisine on the Upper West Side. Gari is the more formal experience while Sushi Yasaka is more laid back. Both places are great.

*Okay granted this is partially our fault buttttt - we asked the waiter for a recommendation for sake. The waiter provided us 3 small samples to try but he did not offer to share the price of the bottle nor did we ask. When the bill came, we found out it cost us $220!!! I felt like this was dishonest and put a damper on our otherwise wonderful meal.
Ambiance (5/5): The establishment is pretty small but very organized and neat, clean, and welcoming! We were seated next to the chef's table and loved watching the preparation right in front of our eyes. The chefs worked together seamlessly to prepare the various dishes with special garnishes, sauces, and presentation.
Service (4/5): We were warmly greeted at the door. Warm towels for wiping at the beginning of the meal and during the middle course.
He went out of his way to ask us in advance if we wanted a birthday dessert since there was only 2 left in the back so he could reserve it. They came out with a sparkler candle for us! Free green tea with the dessert.
Food (5/5): We chose the combo omakase for $180 (4 sashimi & 8 sushi). Every single dish was fresh and delicious! Presentation was exceptional and the tastes were infused with art.

We went here specifically to try the Californian style pizza, which was very delicious. Shared a medium size pizza between 2 people, it was pretty big and filling. We also ordered the Cobb salad to share- it was super tasty and the portion was huge! Our waiter Jeff was very friendly and helpful, we had a lovely time. In total we paid 70$ (including 12$ tip).

I had an incredible meal at this fully gluten-free restaurant. It’s rare to find a place where you can relax and enjoy every bite without worrying about cross-contamination, but they truly deliver on both safety and flavor.
The menu was creative and thoughtful—everything from appetizers to dessert was clearly crafted with care. The [insert dish you loved] was a standout: perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Even my friends who don’t follow a gluten-free diet were impressed.
The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and well-trained in allergy protocols, which made the experience that much more comfortable.
If you’re gluten-free (or even if you’re not), this place is an absolute gem. Highly recommended.

Had a reservation for two and arrived early. The host was kind enough to sit us early. The ambiance was modern and nicely lit. My friend was impressed with the fact that they had Raspberry Margaritas, not many places offer this so a plus! He loved the Margarita and felt it was worth breaking his diet lol We ordered our own starters. I got the guacamole, pumpkin seeds with plantain chips and he got the Ribeye Skewers. The plantain chips were warm and the guac was simple (no onion, tomatoes), which I appreciated and it was still good. I didn’t try the Ribeye skewer but my friend certainly enjoyed it. They gave a good amount of guac. Since my friend didn’t have any I had some to eat with my main which I loved. I ordered the duck with green beans and Yuca. I was impressed with the cherry sauce and the duck. The Yuca was cold and I’m not sure if it was supposed to be, at first it was off putting but it was still good as I mixed it with the duck. I had a side of Salt & Vinegar Onion rings and they came out hot and fresh, loved that for me. The chipotle aioli was good too but I can’t handle any type of spice lol so I put the leftover guac on the onion rings and mixed it with my duck. My taste buds were having a party. My friend enjoyed their Chicken parm and scarfed it down in minutes. The owner (from what it seemed) was very kind and made sure to check in on us every now and then. When we left he was kind enough to give us free Saratoga water for our travels from their sister bakery Modern Bread and Bagel. I will definitely be coming back to this place as someone who has gluten sensitivity.

Our friend’s birthday Brunch this Sunday (3/16) was beyond what any of us expected! We had such an amazing experience from the food, (brisket hash, steak burger, chicken poppers and more) being all delicious, to the strong and tasty drinks! We had passion fruit margaritas the whole time and Sangria which was Perfection. The best part was Alan, the owner, coming over to check in and joking with us, making us feel very welcomed and special. Our server Junior was attentive and friendly smiling the whole time, putting up with all 9 of us Locas. We will definitely be back!

I had the chicken and waffles here and WOW, absolutely amazing! I haven’t had chicken and waffles since my diagnosis, and this was such a treat. Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with the waffle, comfort food done right, and in a way that fits my needs. The ambiance was cozy, the service was warm, and I left feeling full and genuinely happy. So grateful places like this exist in NYC. Will definitely be back!

Delicious high quality food where everything is gluten free. I wanted to order everything in the menu.
I had the Baja salad with the crispy chicken and my boyfriend had the avocado toast. Everything tasted like it was made from scratch. The gluten free crispy chicken was crunchy on the outside and super tender on the inside. The salad dressing was very tasty. My boyfriend’s avocado and toast came with a delicious side salad, and the vegan brioche was tasty and substantial.
I would definitely be back to try other things in the menu. I really wanted to try the gluten free soft pretzel, but I was too full.

Brought family from out of state before going to Natural History Museum. Just get off the B train uptown midtown and walk about 5 min. The pizza is out of this world I’ve been eating pizza my whole life and nothing compares. The staff is nice considering they probably get thousands of visitors they made us feel welcome.
There is plenty of space to sit and the air conditioning was nice and cold to get out on a hot summer day. Kids were complaining of hot day so this was perfect for getting out of the sun.
Did I mention the pizza is delicious.

Found this place after visiting the AMNH. Could not figure out if this was a Mexican restaurant or an American fusion restaurant. There were burgers and sandwiches on the menu, a few taco options and plenty of fajita options. I opted for the Cajun Jambalaya which was delicious (there's more protein than rice so if you're looking for rice, order an additional side). The Cilantro Signature margarita was fresh and had just the right amount of alcohol (opt for the Tajin rim). Daughter had the chicken tacos and stated they were typical. She did, however, rave about the guacamole. Staff was attentive and service was quick.

My favorites are definitely the orichetti and the lamb skewers that were just recently added to the menu, amazing! Oscar is truly incredible and makes the atmosphere very welcoming. He is so attentive and makes some of the best spritzes I’ve had in the city!! Highly recommend this restaurant and will continue coming back :))

Had made reservations for NYE which had a Prix Fixe menu with a decent split of vegetarian and meat selection across three courses. We went for the early seating and it was relatively quiet on a rainy last day of the year.
Alex, our server, was friendly and was kind enough to offer us a glass of wine on the house, after he felt bad having charged full price for our little one on the Prix Fixe menu.
Food overall was pretty decent. There was a Pappardelle pasta for our little one, and a few great options for meat lovers, including a Rib-eye steak which unfortunately lacked flavor, in spite of adding their rather heavy garlic and heavy cream sauce. The lobster tail was thoroughly enjoyed by the seafood lover on our table, and was enough to knock a person out on the table next to us, who possibly had a shell fish allergy. We were glad to see the person doing fine though, towards the end of the meal. Definitely not a nice way to end the year!
Noise levels were on the average end throughout our time there, and their menu and service were pretty good, definitely on the expensive end though. Will definitely visit again sometime in the near future!

Italian transported to the UWS! Get the Rigatoni if it’s your first time here. Get the Cacio E Pepe if you appreciate peppery dishes. I loved the intentionality of the pepper—it was clearly the main flavor yet it didn’t overpower the whole dish. A+

The food is so good. The waitress was very friendly. We ordered katsudon, unagidon, and tempura as a side dish, but she changed the tempura to appetizer because she thought it would be a lot. As she said, the food was a lot, so we packed the leftovers. Thank you very much.

This restaurant is NOT the same as the Raku that’s known for their udon. We only realised after we’d waited half an hour for our table and were given the menu.
The food was ok, nothing special. The bento box was good value for money, but there are definitely better options in the city for sushi. If you live in the neighbourhood, I can understand enjoying having this restaurant as your local, but as a tourist, it was a waste of a meal.
The biggest issue we had was that we were seated by the back of the restaurant where the toilet was located and we kept getting unpleasant smells every time the bathroom door opened.

The Milling Room is good, the decor is interesting enough, the staff attentive and the food well presented and cooked. It's sort of a "hearty meal" in that there's plenty on your plate and lots of meat. It's actually a very good restaurant and if you are nearby it's a worthwhile choice... In general the meat seemed more compelling than the salmon which is what I had.. In general though it wasn't very differentiated or creative...

From what I understand, they’re going to start a remodel on the interior of this restaurant and in the meantime, they have a pizza baked at the curb outside by some fantastic chef, but when we got there at 8:45 the pizza was off the menu as they ran out! That left us very few choices for us to eat. we had hibachi which was very good And peas on straciatella. They didn’t even have bread! the bread that they did end up bringing us after we complained a few times was hard as a rock. I hope the remodel goes well. I don’t wanna dash this business to bits, but you should not go there until they’re done remodeling mid July. We left very hungry.
