Came here for happy hour with my coworkers. I appreciate that this place was dog friendly but the food was a little lackluster despite the presentation. Our server Bobbie was SLAMMED but we never felt neglected and our orders were taken promptly for our rather large group. Food was a 3 but in giving a 5 just because of our experience - Bobbie was funny and friendly and made the rushed happy hour better!

The drinks and food were amazing and the happy hour is great! The overall vibe of the restaurant is very nice and very clean despite being outside. Our server Bobby G was very attentive and fun and definitely made the experience even better! I don’t love mezcal and accidentally ordered a drink with it in it and didn’t end up finishing it and Bobby and who I would assume is the manager Shannon came over and asked if I wanted them to make me any other drink for free and also took the initial drink off our bill. Which was totally unexpected but very appreciated! Definitely a hidden gem in SoHo and so perfect for the summer!

Gilligan’s was such a great find! I ordered the limoncello piña colada, and it was honestly one of the best cocktails I’ve had. It was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and absolutely delicious. What really made the experience special, though, was the incredible hospitality. I brought my dog (Thomas Jefferson) , and the manager immediately came over with a bowl of fresh water and was so genuinely kind and welcoming. It’s rare to find people who go out of their way to make both you and your pup feel at home, and it made such a lasting impression. The atmosphere is beautiful. It’s thoughtfully decorated with lush tropical greenery and has a relaxed, vacation feel that instantly transports you. It almost makes you forget you’re in the city and feels like you’ve escaped to a little island paradise. It’s also incredibly stylish and definitely Instagram-worthy without feeling overdone. Great drinks, wonderful people, and an amazing atmosphere. I’ll absolutely be back and highly recommend stopping by!

We loved this place, we came back twice! Ariana was our bartender. Absolutely the sweetest and made a great drink. Thank you Shannon as well for the great warm welcome. The principal bartender was great, super welcoming and friendly. The happy hour food menu was delicious. We went with a group, sat at the bar and tried all the happy hour menu items. I loved the ribs! Cool vibe in the place, it was fairly slow on a Sunday night, but made it great for conversation and chatting with the bartender. It felt like a personalized experience!

From the same people that brought you employees only. It’s a very cool concept and bar. Mixing western European in Chinese influenced food. The interior design as well thought out. I did only stay for one cocktail. It wasn’t anything amazing it’s exactly exactly what you would expect for any cocktail bar in New York. Presentation was nice. The service was OK. It wasn’t anything outstanding. Overall, had a pretty good experience. Didn’t try any of the food. I would be interested to come back.

This is a great place for "Trading Hour" from 5p-7p. Large bar accommodates small and large groups. Great place for business dinners and for couples alike. Menu has a great selection of options, delicious appetizers and entrées will satisfy even the pickiest among you. We absolutely love the Mushroom & Truffle croquettes, and the Porterhouse for two. The Coconut Panna Cotta is divine, and the doughnuts we had last year were amazing!! If you haven't yet, definitely check out Macao Trading Company, located in the center of everything!!!

Macau Trading Company in Lower Manhattan is a really solid, lowkey spot with a unique twist. The menu is inspired by Macanese cuisine, so you get that blend of Chinese and European flavors that you don't see everywhere, which makes it stand out. Everything came out fairly quick and was executed really well. The fish was super crispy, cooked perfectly without being greasy, and the black rice with coconut and edamame was put together really nicely great balance of flavor and texture. Overall, a cool place if you're looking to try something a little different without all the hype. Definitely worth checking out.

Macao Trading Co. nails the mood better than almost anywhere in TriBeCa. Walk down to the basement bar and it’s all dark wood, low light, and a wall of bottles that goes on forever. The cocktails come correct; had a tall one over crushed ice with about a whole basil plant sticking out of it, and it drank as good as it looked. Macanese food upstairs, secret-bar feel downstairs. Bring a date or a small crew and post up. Easy repeat.

We had heard a lot about Bubby’s pancakes, so after trying the ones at Golden Diner, we had to check them out. They’re good, but nowhere near the best in the city. We ordered the pancake flight, which includes three James Beard pancakes: caramelized banana with toasted walnuts, blueberry, and Nutella with macerated strawberries and whipped cream. The pancakes themselves are quite good—fluffy and light. However, they didn’t taste as freshly made to order as the ones at Golden Diner, possibly because this is a much larger restaurant. But then again, they weren’t on the same level as Golden Diner in terms of fluffiness. As for the toppings, they were good but not very generous. The whipped cream was fine, but nothing particularly memorable. The pancakes didn’t really absorb the toppings. If you can get a reservation, it’s worth trying, but personally, I would still prefer to wait in line for Golden Diner. Overall, we were slightly disappointed with the experience.

A bit overrated in my opinion. The food is tasty, the portions are generous, and you'll definitely leave full, but there's nothing particularly memorable or unique about it. One thing that stood out was how quickly the food arrived. It was almost suspiciously fast, which makes me think much of it is prepared in advance due to the restaurant's popularity. That said, everything came out hot and tasted fresh, so I can't really complain about that. The biggest downside was the service. The staff came across as cold and somewhat condescending, and it often felt like we were bothering them whenever we needed something. To make matters worse, getting the check took an unreasonably long time. We waited, tried to get someone's attention multiple times, and were simply ignored. Eventually, we got up and walked to the register to pay because we just wanted to leave. Overall, the food is good, but the service made the experience much less enjoyable, and I don't think it lives up to the hype.

The salad was surprisingly good (just as good as what you’d get at a dedicated salad spot). The turkey sandwich was also good, and I liked that it had onions inside. The staff was super friendly and made us feel really welcome! The peanut butter pie was good. As a huge peanut butter lover, it basically tasted like pure peanut butter in a good way. The pancakes were soft, fluffy, and exactly what you want from a classic pancake. The portions were huge tho! The two of us ordered a sandwich, a salad, and one pancake to share, and we still couldn’t finish the pancake. We added chocolate chips and whipped cream, and adding the chocolate chips was definitely the right call. My favorite pancake flavor was the Nutella, while my friend’s favorite was the banana. We went on Saturday, July 4th and the wait was about 30 minutes, which wasn’t bad considering the holiday. My only wish is that they had an Americano instead of just cold brew!

Great brunch spot and the food is always comforting! It’s usually a less wait if you’re a larger party. We’ve been multiple times now and we’ve waited no more than 5 minutes when we have larger parties of 6 or more. Wait times can get longer if you’re a group of 2 or 3. Their fried chicken is some of the best I’ve had. The pancakes are always fluffy and very filling. I prefer the sourdough pancakes only because they’re thinner and not as heavy. They have great fresh oj as well. The vibe inside is always fun and good energy in the mornings.

Food and drinks were amazing!! Atmosphere was full of energy. You can definitely tell its a local favorite and favored by tourist. 25 to 30 dollars per entree. If your a family on a tight budget I do not recommend. If thats not a concern I definitely recommend it.

Came for Lunch and was surprised at how nice and cozy the restaurant is. The Ambiance is pretty good and the service as well. The food was pretty good. The appetizer I had was really good especially when paired with thier bread. The calamari is also pretty good and well portioned. For the main course the pasta was cooked well and the sauce and seafood was excellent. All in all it was a true tuscan delight, I highly recommend this place.

Best Italian food ever! We had the grilled eggplant with smoked mozzarella, lamb and beef meatballs, and homemade pasta with boar ragu. All were delicious! The homemade ricotta cheesecake was the best dessert I’ve ever had! So light and not too sweet, filled with vanilla buttery goodness! The service was excellent!

Went for a friend’s birthday party, the service and the food were superb. The setting is a little rustic and traditional but for me that is part of the charm of the place. The endive salad was very good. The truffle panna cotta and the branzino were great. The espresso coffee was fine but not great. The ricotta cheesecake was one of the best I’ve tried in New York. Highly recommended.

After leaving several spots in SoHo due to long wait times and tiny seating areas, we stumbled upon this delightful gem. It’s classic old-school Italian with jazz playing in the background. The food and service were both excellent. We’ll definitely be back on our next visit to NYC.

Came here for a late lunch as a party 1 and wanted to try their Restaurant Week lunch special. I was greeted by a lovely staff member and was free to choose any small table. The complementary tomato flan packed a surprising amount of flavor. Spreading it on the bread was a different but delightful experience compared to having a plate of sauce or oil. The top of the bread was brushed with some salt, elevating the overall taste. I had the Carpaccio di Manzo for my appetizer. The marriage of cured beef, cheese, and truffle was a wonderful salt fiesta in my mouth. The portion was also quite generous, so I'll definitely get this again in my future visits (unless I'm trying something new). For my main, I got the Polpettine Di Vitella (Veal & Ricotta Meatballs). The dish overall had a good balance between salt and savory, and a plentiful amount of salt and pepper. The meatballs had a semi-deep lingering taste from the ricotta, which was accompanied with several seasoned vegetables and a light tomato sauce. It was a good contrast from the strong carpaccio opener. In total, the dishes were definitely on the salty side. However, it was tolerable for me because it satisfied my appetite as an athlete. But I can see how this could be a turn off for some consumers, especially with the Carpaccio di Manzo. The restaurant week special is definitely a steal, but I will still come back to try more dishes, and recommend this to my friends and family

heard great things about Walkers. Unfortunately the bar area was full and we were seated in the next room over. No one’s fault but it’s not as fun of a vibe. We ordered the bruschetta, meatloaf and french dip with french fries. Also got a side of spinach. Our appetizer came after our entrees which makes me not want the appetizer but we ate it and it was ok. The meatloaf and french dip was very good. Our server was ok not great.

The atmosphere & staff were great! The Burger & steak were just ok. My boyfriend didn't like the bun the burger was on & the steak had a large piece of connective tissue running through the middle that made it difficult to eat. We did both really like the fries!

Great after work spot for bar seats or a table. A bit loud for a date. But the wings are some of the best I've had. Jumbo 12 for 14 bucks. And some great drink choices!

Mediocre food, Small Portions, Overpriced. Hosts at the front were extremely kind a welcoming. Service was good but they kept pushing for the family style menu. Drinks were extremely strong and not balanced at all. The menu is hard to follow and needs to be revised. There are no ingredients or preparations for the dishes so you have to ask your server about every item. The food came out extremely quick, 10 mins or less. You can tell that everything is pre-prepared and plated to order. This is further aided by the fact that the food was lukewarm/borderline cold. The steak had good flavor and the velvet chicken was interesting but lacked proper presentation. 2 drinks 2 entrees and 1 side equated to $202. Not worth it at all.

I’ve been coming to Mr Chow Tribeca since I was 18, and it truly feels like a second home. The team treats me like family and consistently goes above and beyond in every way. “Classic Chow’s” has become our go-to for girls’ nights — it’s a ritual at this point. The food, the energy, the atmosphere… always a 10/10. There’s a reason this is a true NYC staple. I am in NYC several times a year. This is my absolute favorite place to go. The staff, from owner to cook, are friendly and welcoming. I live in NC and, while there for my birthday in January, they brought me a slice of cake and had the entire bar sing happy birthday to me. Paul is the absolute best bartender of all time. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Plus, they have excellent food. Thank you to the Broome Street family for welcoming me and always making me feel like a local.

I came here with four other for dinner before a comedy show nearby on a Friday in mid July on a gorgeous day. My friend made the reservation a few days in advance. The restaurant was not full but most of the tables were occupied so I’d recommend a reservation. The restaurant is not large, but also not cramped. I loved everything about this restaurant. I think it is delivering on everything it is selling. The staff were lovely and attentive. The food was delicious as were the margaritas. I really enjoyed the nachos as well as the spinach enchiladas. Everything tasted very fresh. I also found the prices and portions to be reasonable. The five of shared a variety of starters and entrees which was perfect. I throughly enjoyed this experience and would fully recommend. I cannot wait to go back.

Loved my Mexican themed brunch at this 35 year old SoHo Institution last week. Everything is super fresh and homemade. Absolutely devoured the shrimp fajitas and quesadilla The vibes are super chill and the menu is East L.A. themed with an assortment of brunch classics and some of their house specials like the fajitas and an array of tacos and burritos.

Our Love Story (and Margaritas) Start at Lupe’s. It’s time to write a review for the most important restaurant in Soho NYC to me and my husband. Lupe’s isn’t just a place; it’s where our love grew, from dating to marriage. I’ll never forget how, when my husband was still my boyfriend, he’d always stop by before seeing me to grab a margarita. Three years later, it’s still his favorite bar,his ritual. After work, you’ll find him here, greeted by the kindest bartenders who treat him like family (and pour the most generous drinks). and of course the margaritas are the best in town!!! Period❤️❤️❤️ The corner spot, with its neon glow and lantern style lighting, feels like a secret hideaway romantic, cozy, and alive with energy. Summer nights on the patio under those red lights just so magic! We’ve ordered takeout many times, but tonight we sat at my favorite corner table outside and had a proper feast: the vibrant shrimp salad, crispy fish tacos, tender beef tacos, and the most perfectly cooked fish plate. And the flan? Hands down the best, tortillas are so yummy 🤤 😋 and authentic, the taste just can bring you back to Mexico! Portions are generous, flavors are bright, and everything tastes impossibly fresh, no surprise, since the entire kitchen team is from Mexico. But what makes Lupe’s special isn’t just the food or drinks，it’s the people. The staff radiates warmth, making every visit feel like coming home. You can always find the owner inside and make sure every dish and drink is perfect, so friendly to the customers. Lupe’s is the institution ❤️ Funny enough, if I ever can’t reach my husband? I had to swing by Lupe's while I was doing some Mr. Robot related sight seeing. The food was fantastic and the portion size was great. House marg was nice, too! By the time I was done with my meal there were a bunch of people waiting to be seated, so I'm guessing it's a local fave. I can see why! Luckily for me, the Dark Army was nowhere to be found. RIP Cisco.

We randomly stumbled into Antique Garage SoHo on a Sunday afternoon while walking around SoHo. Unfortunately, I wish we had kept walking and eaten somewhere else. The ambiance is what convinced us to sit down. It truly is beautiful inside! The artwork, vintage frames, and chandeliers give the restaurant a unique atmosphere. I'd love to give this spot another try since I have heard many positive things about their dinner service and live jazz nights. To start, I typically order tap water at any restaurant I visit and have never had an issue at any other restaurant in the city. The tap water here had a very unpleasant aftertaste. For an appetizer, we got the Tirokafteri, which had spicy Greek feta, roasted red pepper spread, breadcrumbs, and extra virgin olive oil. It was good but very spicy. The Durum Kebab Sandwich was very good. We originally chose chicken over lamb until our server told us twice not to get the chicken, and they said it a little rude. We ended up taking the recommendation and were glad we did. The lamb was flavorful and tender. I also ordered a burger and it was okay, but nothing I would ever order again for $28+. Overall, the food did not live up to the beautiful atmosphere. I'd be willing to give this spot another try for dinner, but I'm not rushing to come back.

If I could give a million stars, I would. We had dinner tonight at Antique Garage, and I am still thinking about how incredible the food was. My husband is from Türkiye and even he said it was better than any Turkish restaurant we have tried in the United States. From the appetizers to the main courses to dessert, every single dish was spectacular. The flavors were authentic, rich, and perfectly balanced. My relatives were genuinely shocked at how good everything tasted. At one point we were all just looking at each other saying, “Wow.” The hospitality was just as impressive as the food. The hostess Paulina was so gracious. We had a reservation for six, arrived late, and ended up with seven people, and she still accommodated us without hesitation. She even came over with hot tea and checked on us throughout the evening. The servers were attentive, warm, and made the whole experience feel welcoming and special. The atmosphere is stunning. It’s rare to find a place that is both aesthetically beautiful and serves truly exceptional food, but this restaurant absolutely delivers both. If you are looking for an unforgettable Turkish dining experience in New York, this is the place. We will absolutely be back.

Come for the vibes, not necessarily the food. They converted a mechanic's garage in a really cool way.. dripping with chandeliers, mismatched antiques, and candlelit charm. Very SoHo without being too try-hard 12 of us went in for weekday lunch. They did a stellar job of accommodating us. The Mediterranean food (mezes, kebabs, grilled octopus) was solid and tasty.. didn’t blow our minds, but no complaints Good spot if you want to chill, grab a drink and people watch
