5 Star Rating An Absolute Gem! A Must-Visit for Any Occasion! Stepping into this place is like walking into a Pinterest board that came to life. The atmosphere is effortlessly cool and incredibly charming, with just the right amount of cozy and chic. The decor is a perfect blend of minimalist design and playful accents—think lush green plants around you and natural lighting that makes everything feel warm and inviting. Food was divine too, every dish I had - oyster, burrata salad, pizza and fish tacos - was absolutely delicious. What I love most is how versatile this spot is. It's perfect for a low-key cocktail date, an intimate dinner with a loved one, or a celebratory brunch with your entire crew. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu, which just adds to the wonderful experience. Whether you're looking for a new go-to spot or a place to celebrate, I highly recommend Gilligans!

5 Star Rating This place is so cute! It’s giving Hamptons. We got the oysters lobster roll and the corn and all were delicious! I absolutely loved the vibe and all of the greenery. It’s perfect for grabbing drinks during the day or having a dinner date and girls night in the evening. You need a reservation as it gets busy on the weekends.

5 Star Rating As everyone likes to say “hidden gem,” Gilligan’s truly fits the description. It has quickly become one of my favorite bars in NYC. The ambiance is absolutely incredible — relaxed yet full of character. I went during happy hour, which was perfect, but I imagine it gets quite busy at night, so I highly recommend making a reservation. It’s one of the best spots to spend and unwind during the short but sweet New York summer.

5 Star Rating Gilligan’s is a breath of fresh air! From the moment we walked in, we were transported straight to Montauk — breezy, relaxed vibes with a touch of coastal chic that makes you feel like you’re on a mini vacation in the middle of the city. The cocktails? Next level. The food was equally impressive! What really made the experience unforgettable was the service. Our server, Isaias, was truly spectacular — warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely taken care of. Also a huge shoutout to Stevie he was the definition of leadership in hospitality — professional, gracious, and clearly passionate about creating an outstanding guest experience. If you’re looking for a place that feels like summer with amazing drinks, delicious food, and top-tier hospitality — Gilligan’s is it. Can’t wait to come back!

5 Star Rating The decore is phenomenal with a lot of quality furniture. The menu and service, top of the line. I have been here several times now and Diego and Dino have provided nothing short but amazing service every time. The cocktail balance and selection is great, with a large variety from sweet to savory, there's something for everyone. The food was cooked perfectly as always, highly recommended the mussels and dumplings! Must visit bar of lower Manhattan

4 Star Rating I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Macao Trading Company in NYC, USA. A Chinese-inspired fusion restaurant drawing on the multicultural history of Macau, once a crossroads of Asian and Western influences. The concept explains the eclectic menu, ranging from Chinese classics to more Western-style dishes. We tried the pork dumplings, which were good though a bit lacking in subtle seasoning, and the porterhouse steak, surprisingly well executed for a non-steakhouse — nicely seasoned and cooked, with decent meat quality. The interior is elegant and artistic, with a dark, moody ambiance, and service was reasonably efficient. It feels like a place that may have lost a touch of its former glamour, yet still remains a solid dining option if you’re in the area. The restaurant was rather quiet during our visit, which perhaps says something about its current stage — but it’s still worth considering for dinner, as long as you keep expectations measured.

5 Star Rating This place is all about quality. Every ingredient tasted fresh and made to order, and the chefs truly know what they are doing. Service was excellent, the ambiance is gorgeous and cozy, and the mocktails were on point. Must-orders: oysters, shrimp dumplings, lobster noodles (star of the show), and malasadas. I really appreciate our waitress going above and beyond by offering to remove the lobster meat for us. Thank you Sofia! It can get a bit loud from 5–7 PM with the after work crowd, but it’s still absolutely worth it. 10/10. Add this to your list.

4 Star Rating Came here for dinner with a group of 8 to celebrate our birthdays. We made reservations 3 weeks in advance with Matt through email. 2 days before, got an email from Open Table that it was canceled. I emailed Matt right away and asked for the reason and he said it was an error and that our reservation is still confirmed for the 27th. Also called the night before the 27th to add a person to the party and the reservation was still confirmed. When we arrived, the host with the bob haircut told us it was canceled… 💔…. I showed her multiple emails as well as the Open Table confirmations , even from the night before. She just kept saying it was canceled and did not budge to try to accommodate us or find a solution. Danel (not sure if i spelled it right) came over and was very nice and professional. He told us that he will figure something out to accommodate us and apologized for the inconvenience and that this does not happen. He was kind enough to offer a round of cocktails (greatly appreciated) on the house while we waited for our table to be ready. Despite all of that.. The food was tea👌🏼The calamari was 10/10. The burger was fantastic especially the garlic aioli sauce that gave it a lil razzle dazzle ✨ The steak was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. S/O to Danel and the bartender for making our night better !

4 Star Rating I loved the atmosphere. The modern dimlit take on a testing company office transported me far away. The music could be quieter though. The food was a bit uneven. I really liked the ants climbing the wall because of their intense flavor and slightly spice seasoning, and the coquettes were a second favorite. The staff was something else, very tender and delicious when served rare. The chicken and pork dumplings were unfortunately dry inside, and the market vegetable salad had too much lettuce. The portion sizes are good to share many dishes even in a small party. That means, they are not particularly big.

5 Star Rating We knew it would be good when it’s 35 degrees F and the line is 45 min out the door. Because we had time to look at the menu already we were ready to order upon being seated. Food came out in 5-10 minutes. It was spectacular. Two of us shared the biscuits and gravy. Hatch chilies and fluffy biscuits, slightly in the sweet side, made for a great breakfast. The potatoes were loaded with onions and cooked perfectly. The praline pumpkin pie was smooth and light while the pralines were crunchy and the crust was on point. The hot chocolate was very rich, with a toasted marshmallow. Lovely. The music was a bit loud, but not enough to take away any stars from this great place. And I didn’t eat in one place that I thought the music wasn’t too loud, so I guess it’s a thing. Or I’m getting old.

5 Star Rating went to Bubby’s for breakfast, and although it was packed with about a 45-minute wait, it was absolutely worth it. The atmosphere was lively and cozy, the kind of bustling New York breakfast spot that makes you feel like you’re part of something special. I ordered the homemade home fries, which came Southern-style with sautéed onions and peppers. They were perfectly seasoned and had that crispy, golden edge that’s hard to get just right. The highlight, though, was the fried chicken and pancakes served with bourbon maple syrup. The pancakes were fluffy and rich, with a twist, there’s sour cream in the batter, which gives them a subtle tang and an extra tender texture. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference. I also sampled the cheese grits, and they were creamy, comforting, and full of flavor, a perfect side to round out the meal. Overall, Bubby’s delivered a fantastic Southern-inspired breakfast experience right in the heart of NYC. If you don’t mind the wait, it’s a must visit spot for a hearty and memorable brunch.

4 Star Rating Bubby's in Tribeca offers a very welcoming atmosphere with its rustic and cozy ambiance. We had the pleasure of trying the Pancake Flight and the Chicken and Pancakes. The chicken was prepared to perfection, being both crispy and juicy, while the pancakes were delightfully fluffy and flavorful, accompanied by a variety of toppings such as caramelized banana, walnuts, blueberry, Nutella, mixed berries, and whipped cream. I also enjoyed the refreshing Hibiscus Iced Tea, which included complimentary refills. The staff provided exceptional service; they were notably friendly and attentive. Although we were informed of an approximate 45-minute wait, we were seated much sooner. The host thoughtfully engaged with those waiting in line outside and checked on us periodically, which was a kind gesture. Our waitress demonstrated excellent knowledge and efficiency throughout our visit. Please be aware that the pricing is on the higher side, with an expected cost of $30-$50 per person. The location is easily accessible via the #1 train at Franklin Street, the 2 or 3 trains at Chambers Street, or the A, C, or E trains at Canal Street. It is conveniently situated near the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and other remarkable downtown attractions. We recommend visiting for the excellent food and staying to explore the rich history, arts, and culture of the area..

3 Star Rating Had to try it for its fame. My conclusion is, not worth it for what I ordered. Tried their sourdough pancakes with chicken. With black coffee. I personally love Sourdough but I did not like Sourdough pancakes. It was really too sour and was a weird combination with the syrup. The regular pancakes tasted much better in general. My biggest problem was with the chix and coffee. Chicken did not taste fresh. It had a gamey smell that old frozen imported chicken has when cooked. The coffee was extremely acidic but not like fresh brew acidic. It tasted like powder instant coffee. Overall, I wouldn't go back nor recommend it to others.

5 Star Rating Had a delicious breakfast here, so glad I came! Visited around 8am on a Tuesday - was able to sit at the bar. Service was great, very friendly and responsive. I got the Hibiscus Iced Tea - server gave me extra simple syrup on the side if I wanted it sweeter. The Chicken and Pancakes were PHENOMENAL. The chicken was piping hot and crispy, perfectly seasoned and a generous portion. The pancakes were thick but still light. The butter and syrup provided allowed me to customise to my preference. I broke up the rosemary stick over the pancakes and omg I am totally putting rosemary on my pancakes from now on, it was next level delicious. The vibes are great, the staff are all friendly and smiley and the food is perfection. 10/10.

4 Star Rating Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was not very busy, the food & service were very good and I would recommend it and would visit again. My only down side was the table placement next to a large party of 8 and next to the "bar" area which was not ideal but the upstairs looked inviting & with a better table location/atmosphere it could have been a 5 pretty easily.

5 Star Rating Came here for a late lunch as a party 1 and wanted to try their Restaurant Week lunch special. I was greeted by a lovely staff member and was free to choose any small table. The complementary tomato flan packed a surprising amount of flavor. Spreading it on the bread was a different but delightful experience compared to having a plate of sauce or oil. The top of the bread was brushed with some salt, elevating the overall taste. I had the Carpaccio di Manzo for my appetizer. The marriage of cured beef, cheese, and truffle was a wonderful salt fiesta in my mouth. The portion was also quite generous, so I'll definitely get this again in my future visits (unless I'm trying something new). For my main, I got the Polpettine Di Vitella (Veal & Ricotta Meatballs). The dish overall had a good balance between salt and savory, and a plentiful amount of salt and pepper. The meatballs had a semi-deep lingering taste from the ricotta, which was accompanied with several seasoned vegetables and a light tomato sauce. It was a good contrast from the strong carpaccio opener. In total, the dishes were definitely on the salty side. However, it was tolerable for me because it satisfied my appetite as an athlete. But I can see how this could be a turn off for some consumers, especially with the Carpaccio di Manzo. The restaurant week special is definitely a steal, but I will still come back to try more dishes, and recommend this to my friends and family

5 Star Rating From the outside Pepolino looks like a small restaurant but it's actually multiple floors and had a lovely decorated experience. We went after work with a group of 15 and they offer a fixed price menu that serves a 3 course meal of app, entree, and dessart for $60. The portions were a bit small but it with the 3 courses was a perfect size to be full at the end of the meal. The staff was very friendly and offered suggestions on food options. Food was delicious and not one of my party was disappointed with their choice. The restaurant was buzzing with families, couples, and large tables which shows they accommodate everyone. Very happy with this choice and if you are ever in the neighborhood or staying in a nearby hotel you should definitely give this one a try!

5 Star Rating Our Love Story (and Margaritas) Start at Lupe’s. It’s time to write a review for the most important restaurant in Soho NYC to me and my husband. Lupe’s isn’t just a place; it’s where our love grew, from dating to marriage. I’ll never forget how, when my husband was still my boyfriend, he’d always stop by before seeing me to grab a margarita. Three years later, it’s still his favorite bar,his ritual. After work, you’ll find him here, greeted by the kindest bartenders who treat him like family (and pour the most generous drinks). and of course the margaritas are the best in town!!! Period❤️❤️❤️ The corner spot, with its neon glow and lantern style lighting, feels like a secret hideaway romantic, cozy, and alive with energy. Summer nights on the patio under those red lights just so magic! We’ve ordered takeout many times, but tonight we sat at my favorite corner table outside and had a proper feast: the vibrant shrimp salad, crispy fish tacos, tender beef tacos, and the most perfectly cooked fish plate. And the flan? Hands down the best, tortillas are so yummy 🤤 😋 and authentic, the taste just can bring you back to Mexico! Portions are generous, flavors are bright, and everything tastes impossibly fresh, no surprise, since the entire kitchen team is from Mexico. But what makes Lupe’s special isn’t just the food or drinks,it’s the people. The staff radiates warmth, making every visit feel like coming home. You can always find the owner inside and make sure every dish and drink is perfect, so friendly to the customers. Lupe’s is the institution ❤️ Funny enough, if I ever can’t reach my husband? I know exactly where he’ll be: at Lupe’s, drink in hand, happy or (occasionally) mad at me. It’s his sanctuary. To the team: Thank you for being part of our story. Here’s to many more years of tacos, margaritas, and memories. If you love Mexican food, Soho charm, or just feeling like family, Lupe’s is your spot. It’s not just a restaurant—it’s a piece of our hearts.

3 Star Rating Beautiful restaurant, offering a wide selection of Mediterranean food, including appetizers to share. The food could get some extra care and attention. The chicken adana could be seasoned better. We couldn't tell what was in the baba ganoush, other than eggplant, of course. Definitely not an authentic baba ganoush. The zucchini rolls were undercooked and filled with a cheese spread, instead of a feta or similar cheese. The Greek salad was great. The restaurant has potential, but the food needs some improvement for those prices.

4 Star Rating Good food, I particularly liked the seafood with eggplant puree (begendi). I wasn't impressed by the rest, especially considering the high prices. The French cafe style sidewalk seating is charming, and the indoor space is very welcoming. The staff is very friendly.

5 Star Rating This place felt like therapy—relaxing, uplifting, and exactly what I’ve been missing. The elegant decor, calming atmosphere, and delicious Turkish food made for a perfect experience. Uğur Bey's hospitality was exceptional, and Gabriel provided top-notch service. Thank you both! Highly recommended. Don't miss out on the warm ambiance here. Next time, we'll definitely visit the other location to enjoy some jazz music. 🎶 🎷 🎶 🎷

4 Star Rating Great atmosphere with live music on a Saturday night. Surprisingly they had open seats and no line. The food was good but not as great as the space would make you believe. We shared the food family style, so I got to try quite a few different ones and I recommend the lamb skewer as it was the best option. The bread was also quite tasty. Would go back for the atmosphere.

5 Star Rating Wow what an amazing authentic Italian restaurant!! I ended up here with a birthday party for 10 and it could not have been better. We got burrata, salads, and a variety of pastas and other dishes. I was absolutely obsessed with the butternut squash ravioli it was fantastic. The service was so wonderful and we felt very valued as customers. They have a great wine list too. I love supporting a real family restaurant, we met some of the family that owns it and they were truly so warm and kind. My friends and I will definitely be back in the future!

3 Star Rating The first time we came here was over 10 years ago and we had such a bad experience, we figured it’s been long enough so let’s give it another shot. Outside of the grumpy old man who greets you at the entrance, who I think is the same one that was there 10 years ago, the service was very pleasant and friendly. The bread is absolutely delicious and the olive oil is good. That’s about it. The Caesar salad is drenched in oil, not even sure what that was. The pizza tasted like microwavable pizza with a fried crust. The Brodo with tortellini was average, perfectly OK and definitely needed the extra Parmesan and pepper added to it. The orecchiette was good, but tasted more like mac & cheese. The Bronzino was fine, unfortunately they do not debone the fish so that was a fun challenge. The wine was perfectly fine as well. It was a very average and underwhelming experience. The tables are right next to each other so you have about 6 inches of space between you and the person at the next table, which unfortunately is standard for some NYC restaurants. I certainly will not go back and will not recommend this restaurant. It wasn’t a horrible experience. It was just very average. and I believe it is a popular place because it is relatively inexpensive compared to other NYC restaurants. But you get what you pay for.

2 Star Rating Lovely wait staff but the food is average at best and because of that extremely overpriced. My bruschetta was uninspired plain and unseasoned, the chicken dish adorned with a wilted and slightly mushy arugula salad. I would say either the chef or the menu needs enlivening - perhaps both. Overall a dull experience.

5 Star Rating This is one of my favorite restaurants to dine at in NY! I have had so many memorable experiences here and the staff is lovely. The food is truly authentic and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking out a great authentic Italian meal and a cozy atmosphere. Ps.. the cheesecake is out of this world 😍

5 Star Rating Lovely ambiance, attentive service, delicious food. The wine selection was just right (and I’m not really a sweets person but the tiramisu was perfection). Can’t wait to revisit!
