This place is so cute! It’s giving Hamptons. We got the oysters lobster roll and the corn and all were delicious! I absolutely loved the vibe and all of the greenery. It’s perfect for grabbing drinks during the day or having a dinner date and girls night in the evening. You need a reservation as it gets busy on the weekends.

As everyone likes to say “hidden gem,” Gilligan’s truly fits the description. It has quickly become one of my favorite bars in NYC. The ambiance is absolutely incredible — relaxed yet full of character. I went during happy hour, which was perfect, but I imagine it gets quite busy at night, so I highly recommend making a reservation. It’s one of the best spots to spend and unwind during the short but sweet New York summer.

Gilligan’s is a breath of fresh air! From the moment we walked in, we were transported straight to Montauk — breezy, relaxed vibes with a touch of coastal chic that makes you feel like you’re on a mini vacation in the middle of the city.
The cocktails? Next level. The food was equally impressive!
What really made the experience unforgettable was the service. Our server, Isaias, was truly spectacular — warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely taken care of. Also a huge shoutout to Stevie he was the definition of leadership in hospitality — professional, gracious, and clearly passionate about creating an outstanding guest experience.
If you’re looking for a place that feels like summer with amazing drinks, delicious food, and top-tier hospitality — Gilligan’s is it. Can’t wait to come back!

This hidden gem is an absolute favorite!!!!
You must have a watermelon margarita!!! Or 2!!!!
I love bringing friends here because it’s such a tucked away hidden gem. So unexpected. Staff was delightful!!!!

If you’re in the SoHo area and looking for a cool spot to grab drinks and bites, Gilligan’s is it! The vibe is super chill—gives major Tulum energy—and it’s quickly become one of my favorite hangouts.
Me and my girls are obsessed with their Aperol spritz —it’s a must-order. You can totally come here just for drinks too. Just know that when the weather is nice, the crowd shows up, so expect a wait and slightly slower service. But once you’re in, it’s totally worth it.

Loved this spot in Tribeca! I’m all about a fun food experience - not just great dishes, but the whole vibe - music, ambiance, service. This place really has character. It’s a Portuguese-Chinese concept with a menu with lots of seafood options and a pretty good cocktail list.
Everything we ordered was great, but the standout for me was the steamed mussels - the coconut broth was so flavorful and delicious. Also, definitely recommend getting the BBQ short ribs with the vegetable rice. They compliment each other so well, though the rice lacked sauce.
I didn’t get a chance to try their famous lobster noodles, but this is why I’m coming back. Perfect spot for a night out with friends or a fun date - just a heads-up, the music can be loud.
Mary Grant - a month ago
I loved the atmosphere. The modern dimlit take on a testing company office transported me far away. The music could be quieter though. The food was a bit uneven. I really liked the ants climbing the wall because of their intense flavor and slightly spice seasoning, and the coquettes were a second favorite. The staff was something else, very tender and delicious when served rare. The chicken and pork dumplings were unfortunately dry inside, and the market vegetable salad had too much lettuce. The portion sizes are good to share many dishes even in a small party. That means, they are not particularly big.

Food, service and atmosphere are great. I love decorations so much, pretty cool design and idea. When it comes to noodles, I found the minced pork one better than the lobster one, expected the lobster to have more of a buttery flavor. Dumplings are better steamed than fried, fried it just tastes like an empanada. The salad is also really good, recommend to order. I didn’t try the croquettes as I don’t like croquettes, but the table said they were really good. Skirt steak is very tender and lots of flavor, not your regular skirt steak. The drinks are good as well. I recommend the place.

The restaurant offers a really unique menu (both food and cocktails). Upon being seated, I was greeted right away and put my order in pretty quickly. Everything was fantastic! The charred octopus and African chicken were great and looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu.

Had a PHENOMENAL experience with a few girlfriends. 10s across the board: drinks, food, vibe, service. Make sure to ask to be seated in Josh’s section. He was fantastic and made the experience all the more special by being very knowledgeable about the menu, creative about cocktail options, and very attentive throughout the night. We will be back!

Tried the James Beard pancakes, specifically the Pancake Flight. This consists of three different toppings. If you are not a huge fan of sweet, then forgo this. These pancakes were thick, but so light and fluffy. Would definitely go back for this alone. The other two dishes were the Cheese Grits Breakfast and Bubby's Breakfast. Nothing notable, but the cheese grits were good. Pro tip, I went for Sunday brunch and the line was LONG but the three of us opted to sit at the bar. Waited only 10 minutes and the service was excellent. It was also interesting to watch the bartenders in action during peak capacity.

Booked a table at Bubby’s whilst we were in New York as a friend recommended it.The food was absolutely delicious.
I had the pancakes with berry compote and the pancakes were incredibly fluffy. Despite the bigger portion size, it wasn’t too much and not too sweet which was great! My friends enjoyed the breakfast and banana pancakes.
It took a while to be seated despite having booked in advance. However, this was made up by incredibly fast service. Our food came before our drinks! I don’t think I’ve ever been served so quickly.
The restaurant was very busy so maybe not one for people looking for a quieter breakfast spot.
It is expensive in comparison to a similar meal in the UK but I would say it’s worth a visit. I wish I could get pancakes like this in Scotland ☺️

It is alright. Classic breakfast spread with a southern lean.
Good drink selection too.
The sandwich was too oily and the drinks were too sweet. If you like classic American fare, this place might work for you.
Also, $25 for anything (yeah even 3 pancakes) is too much for the quality and taste you get.

Fun rustic eatery in the heart of Soho. Presentation was gorgeous, never had a stack of pancakes so beautiful; coffee plentiful and flowing. Server was friendly and so polite. Average prices for the area, crowded and with a happy vibe, not too noisy. Kid friendly. Bathrooms all the way downstairs. Photo booth for added fun.

Fantastic vibe, amazing food, and top-notch service!
We ordered the Bubby’s Burger, the Pancake Flight, and the Fried Chicken with coleslaw and a biscuit—everything was absolutely delicious and perfectly portioned.
Yes, the prices are on the higher side, but the quality and generous servings make it well worth it.

Came here for a late lunch as a party 1 and wanted to try their Restaurant Week lunch special. I was greeted by a lovely staff member and was free to choose any small table.
The complementary tomato flan packed a surprising amount of flavor. Spreading it on the bread was a different but delightful experience compared to having a plate of sauce or oil. The top of the bread was brushed with some salt, elevating the overall taste.
I had the Carpaccio di Manzo for my appetizer. The marriage of cured beef, cheese, and truffle was a wonderful salt fiesta in my mouth. The portion was also quite generous, so I'll definitely get this again in my future visits (unless I'm trying something new).
For my main, I got the Polpettine Di Vitella (Veal & Ricotta Meatballs). The dish overall had a good balance between salt and savory, and a plentiful amount of salt and pepper. The meatballs had a semi-deep lingering taste from the ricotta, which was accompanied with several seasoned vegetables and a light tomato sauce. It was a good contrast from the strong carpaccio opener.
In total, the dishes were definitely on the salty side. However, it was tolerable for me because it satisfied my appetite as an athlete. But I can see how this could be a turn off for some consumers, especially with the Carpaccio di Manzo. The restaurant week special is definitely a steal, but I will still come back to try more dishes, and recommend this to my friends and family

From the outside Pepolino looks like a small restaurant but it's actually multiple floors and had a lovely decorated experience. We went after work with a group of 15 and they offer a fixed price menu that serves a 3 course meal of app, entree, and dessart for $60. The portions were a bit small but it with the 3 courses was a perfect size to be full at the end of the meal. The staff was very friendly and offered suggestions on food options. Food was delicious and not one of my party was disappointed with their choice. The restaurant was buzzing with families, couples, and large tables which shows they accommodate everyone. Very happy with this choice and if you are ever in the neighborhood or staying in a nearby hotel you should definitely give this one a try!

Fabulous! This spot will transport you straight to Italy. The atmosphere is charming & rustic and the service was attentive & wonderful. Had a light lemon pasta that made me feel like I was dining in Sorrento. My mom had the trout special and it was wonderful. We left with full bellies and high spirits.

Came here with some colleagues for dinner while at meetings in SoHo and loved it. We sat on the 2nd floor and the view is great. Excellent ambiance, classic decor, and wonderful people. The server was great, and the food was awesome. Homemade pastas were great, definitely recommend the boar ragu and the porcini tagliatelle, both were delicious. The sausage crostini appetizer was great too. Would definitely recommend.

Thanks to our server for fitting us in on a very busy Friday night. It was really loud in the main room luckily we were led to the second much quieter room.
Service was excellent. Our food arrived quickly & we were provided with crayons & a paper table cloth to have some fun whilst we waited. I had the Mac and cheese which was comfort food.

After seeing the Ghostbusters HQ across the street, my friend and I were hungry. We had walked over 20K steps in the city, so food and drink were next on the list. I saw Walkers across the street and we made our way over there. We sat at the bar and the very lively bartender, Steve, was such a great person to assist us. My friend ordered the Shrimp Scampi; she was ate every last bite. The guy next to us ordered the side of fries; they were cooked to perfection! I went with an order of chili cheese fries; side of fries with chili + cheese. I was surprised by the neat of the chili! The 2 Gents who were next to us at the bar gave us a new list of things to see in the city, since they are both natives of the area. Overall, we will be stopping by this place when we are in the area.

The bartender John is a top shelf old school bartender. Great conversationalist, very friendly, and great at his job.
I can only attest to the burger since this is what I ordered, and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, but the food I saw going out generally looked great. This place is a homerun!

Blackened red snapper on pumpernickel is a good choice, not much spice could use a bit more. Turkey sandwich is also good, plenty of turkey on toast. Wings are OK, and the pita hamburger is an also ok. All in all the blackened snapper was the best choice.

Craft beer and wine bar on the edge of Tribeca and Soho.
Great range of craft lagers IPAs sours and ciders perfect for a quick drink to start an evening. Had about 6 or 7 tables outside and the place filled up quickly. Very popular with locals. We watched many come to the bar to meet with friends. (We got there about 5:30pm)
I had a guava sour beer which was so refreshing on a hot day and my husband had a local Brooklyn IPA style beer. They promote local breweries and rotate their range. The service was friendly knowledgeable and happy to talk through their range and give tasters to ensure you got the drink you wanted.
Can see why this spot was so popular

I almost wanted to write a worse review because I enjoyed the owners response to others. Nice schtick
We only had beer so this review is about this. The beer selection is solid, the tap lines could use a little attention. Beer is not supposed to taste metalic and I don't think I have a tumor... But if I do, I'll edit the review.

We enter this place about 40 minutes before closing. Bathrooms has been already closed (we couldn't even change our kid's diaper) and coffees, which we ordered to drink them on a spot, were served in takeaway mugs only because the stuff could leave working place at 7PM and not even a minute later. It never happened to us in Poland!

Was early for work by about an hour so I decided to stop here and load up on caffeine. The place itself is well taken care of and they care about TV the customers as you can see from the pictures of the signs. The manager I was told has hobby of collecting coffee mugs but unfortunately they are not for sale. The coffee is good and fresh especially in the morning. Was able to charge my phone without an issue and they do ask for proof of vaccinations before dining in which reasonable because it is a private business. Would recommend and come back here again

I have realized that Starbucks is just a scam. Maybe they have amazing drinks and amazing service but why should we come if we are just wasting money? I saw a video on the internet about how if you order a venti pink drink and a venti cup with only ice, you are getting two grande drinks. Even today, I ordered a venti pink drink with light ice and they still gave her so much ice. We need to fix this issue IMMEDIATELY.

Our Love Story (and Margaritas) Start at Lupe’s.
It’s time to write a review for the most important restaurant in Soho NYC to me and my husband. Lupe’s isn’t just a place; it’s where our love grew, from dating to marriage. I’ll never forget how, when my husband was still my boyfriend, he’d always stop by before seeing me to grab a margarita. Three years later, it’s still his favorite bar,his ritual. After work, you’ll find him here, greeted by the kindest bartenders who treat him like family (and pour the most generous drinks). and of course the margaritas are the best in town!!! Period❤️❤️❤️
The corner spot, with its neon glow and lantern style lighting, feels like a secret hideaway romantic, cozy, and alive with energy. Summer nights on the patio under those red lights just so magic!
We’ve ordered takeout many times, but tonight we sat at my favorite corner table outside and had a proper feast: the vibrant shrimp salad, crispy fish tacos, tender beef tacos, and the most perfectly cooked fish plate. And the flan? Hands down the best, tortillas are so yummy 🤤 😋 and authentic, the taste just can bring you back to Mexico! Portions are generous, flavors are bright, and everything tastes impossibly fresh, no surprise, since the entire kitchen team is from Mexico.
But what makes Lupe’s special isn’t just the food or drinks,it’s the people. The staff radiates warmth, making every visit feel like coming home. You can always find the owner inside and make sure every dish and drink is perfect, so friendly to the customers. Lupe’s is the institution ❤️ Funny enough, if I ever can’t reach my husband? I know exactly where he’ll be: at Lupe’s, drink in hand, happy or (occasionally) mad at me. It’s his sanctuary.
To the team: Thank you for being part of our story. Here’s to many more years of tacos, margaritas, and memories. If you love Mexican food, Soho charm, or just feeling like family, Lupe’s is your spot. It’s not just a restaurant—it’s a piece of our hearts.

Good for for a good price, really fast service. We came on a Saturday night and it was relatively quiet. We ordered the chicken mole enchiladas and the beef enchiladas. They came out so quickly! Our favorite was the beef enchiladas. Server was friendly and efficient. Overall good experience and at a great price!

Delicious! All the flavors of Mexico on top of fresh food, Mezcal, wine and beers. Salvador is amazing behind the bar and hosting. I got the Baja salad with grilled shrimp along with a Mezcal cocktail finished with a tasty Mexican hot chocolate. This spot has a very cheery fun colorful vibe. Highly recommend and I’ll be back again. Cheers to the head chef, staff and Salvador!

Rica comida Mexicana. Authentic Mexican restaurant with delicious, rich flavors. I ordered the fish tacos and beef—they were big and delicious. My friend had the spring tacos and fish tacos—she loved them. We had a spicy mezcalita. The service is very friendly, like a good old Mexican service. We sat outside and had such a good time. Inside is such a vibe.
