4 Star Rating We just had a couple of drinks during lunch time here. The place looks absolutely beautiful with all the plants you feel like you've been transported to a vacation spot. Service was slightly slow and didn't match the amazingness of the place. Hopefully that'll improve shortly!

5 Star Rating Really beautiful place, has a tropical feel to it. The service was good but did decline towards the end when it started getting a bit more busier. The food was delicious, minus the shrimp pasta it was a bit on the bland side. But everything else was so great. The menu is very minimal, which was perfect for us because we got to basically try almost everything in the menu. The drinks really were the highlight! The drinks were refreshing and just right for a nice summer day. Would definitely be back again.

5 Star Rating WATERMELON MARGARITA is a must try when you come here!!! They have really good skirt steak with chimichuri. Bartenders and waiter are very friendly. Overall, recommend this place for a date, family/friends dinner. Would go back to try more on the menu! Note: They are open all summer and closed during the cold season.

4 Star Rating This place was so beautiful and we were so excited to try it. The front receptionist was clearly in a bad mood but was not excited to see customers. Kinda dampened the vibe but we looked past it. Demetrius was the most helpful. Food was okay, vibes and service were excellent. I would go back. Thanks for having us!

5 Star Rating Overall rating: 4.65 Initially this place was a bit hard to find. I got it kind of confused with Soho diner. I was kind of expecting the worst experience ever based on the terrible reviews, but I liked it! If you’ve read any of my other reviews, you know by now I love anything with plants. And this, was a rainforest 😍😍 My friends were running late and the service was very friendly and patient while I waited for them. I didn’t drink but the juice was very good. My friend had the salad and I had the granola which were both great. Things got a little rocky soon after when a 3rd friend came. The service dropped significantly. They took forever to get her order, bring out food & close the check. Like 20+ minutes of waiting. We’ve even tried to wave multiple people down a few times, but they were so busy and so crowded. I don’t think that’s an excuse when it’s a $$$ place in Tribeca though. As much as I love the space and the environment, it’s more of a one-time visit for me. As 3 people, I can’t imagine how it is with a party of 4 or more. It has to be better other times? Maybe a happy hour after work? Definitely not brunch for me. I recommend coming at a different time, unless you enjoy or wouldn’t mind waiting.

5 Star Rating Interesting place to have a meal. The atmosphere is very nice, cozy and secretive kind of. With the decoration very well thought and put together. The service is on top. Nothing to be said. All good. And food wise, it was really good. We got the dumpling fried as a starter and the strip steak. Excellent. It’s a little bit expensive, but we had a great evening.

Service was good and the vibe of the restaurant was similar to an upscale speakeasy—very laid back and cool. I also enjoyed the music selection. 5 Star Rating Overall rating: 4.8 Absolutely obsessed with this place! I went on a Monday around 7:30pm. I was surprised at the low rating and saw most of them were due to sitting at the bar or bar service related. I went for dinner with my friend and our service was great! Our server was super friendly and provided great recommendations. I didn’t realize Macao was an actual location before I went but they had a great description on the menu which was very informative. The food was so good! I’m obsessed with their croquettes! So much that I ordered a second round to go 😅 The dumplings were good but still can’t stop thinking about the croquettes. The fish soup was really good and flavorful too. I highly recommend giving it a try. A tad expensive but it is in Tribeca and I feel like it’s worth it in my opinion. 🤤

4 Star Rating I enjoyed a great brunch here. I came on a Sunday in spring on a fairly warm day. Outside seating and indoor seating is plentiful but there was a very long line for both. Even though it started raining we stayed on the line for outdoor seating due to the line being 1/3 of the length compared to indoor seating. We waited around 45 minutes. It’s nice that they let you use the bathroom if you need to during your wait in the line. I ordered the chicken and pancakes (I substituted the fluffy pancakes for the thin). The chicken was extremely juicy and well-cooked, a bit mild in flavor (I preferred more seasoned meats). Pancakes were well made and tasty, since it was drowned in syrup I didn’t actually get much of the flavor from the pancake itself. The syrup was tasty and not too sweet which I like. I ordered the house old fashioned which I enjoyed. My friends enjoyed the nonalcoholic beverages that they ordered- I believe an array of lemonades. My friend enjoyed the biscuits and was unwilling to share. My other friend ordered the crab eggs Benedict- she mentioned the muffin was soggy but overall she enjoyed it. I’d probably return- overall it was with the wait. I want to try the dessert.

5 Star Rating We really enjoyed this place! Stopped by at 9 am on a Monday and got a good table without a reservation, shortly after that it was a great line. Popular place! The pancakes are huge and should be shared. They are soo fluffy and moist! The atmosphere is perfect for breakfast or brunch. We thought the price was decent for the amount of food we got.

5 Star Rating This was a positive surprise! We were looking for a typical American food brunch and to our delight we came acroos this place. Staff was welcoming, the place was not crowded on Monday lunch time. The grain bowl is an excellent vegan option if you order without cheese. I loved it. My husband is still talking about the fried chicken with the fluffy pancakes.

4 Star Rating Solid spot for brunch. The menu's got a lot of options, I tried the Pancake Flight ($26). Portions are very generous, so you won't leave hungry. Plus, they've got some drinks to go with your meal, like mimosas and Bloody Marys. The staff are helpful. Prices are fair for the quality and quantity you get. For brunch on weekend, it gets very crowded, expect a 30 minutes waiting line. Atmosphere is a little bit chaotic when is crowded. They accept credit cards.

5 Star Rating Very romantic and off the path place. Service was fantastic, singularly bested by the quality of food. I had the grilled octopus on a crustini which, to be honest, is probably the best meal I have had this year. Cooked to perfection. They also have the tomato based olive for your bread, something I have never had before, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

5 Star Rating What a cool spot. The food and drinks here are amazing. I had the best pear vodka with sage syrup, lime juice and martini. Fabricio is a master at making them. The ricotta cheese cake is out of this world. Showed up to Pepolino a third time and make a mistake with reservation. I booked Saturday but showed up Friday and Jada was kind enough to save the night. I was visiting with a guest and wanted to share one of my favorite restaurants and was mortified to find out if showed up on the wrong night. Thank goodness for Jada. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. I would give it ten stars if I could.

5 Star Rating I had their grilled asparagus with shaved Parmesan and toasted shaved pecans which was spectacular! It's such a simple dish but their preparation and ingredients were absolutely top notch. The different textures came together remarkably well. Their burger was wonderful too. It was perfectly seasoned, the American cheese was perfectly melted and slightly creamy just like I like it and the bun was super fresh and pillowy. The meat was hot with just the right amount of decadence but it still had the simplicity of what seemed to be a simple salt and pepper seasoning. I asked for medium well and it was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere here was relaxed with a bit of rustic charm and the service was attentive and friendly. Their outside area seemed to be really popular during my Sunday afternoon visit but I was quite happy eating inside. This place is a gem and I look forward to visiting again when I'm in the area. I took a picture after my first few bites of the asparagus dish so it might have ruined the art of the presentation but it was so good I wanted to keep a visual memory of it.

4 Star Rating A sudden rain storm and hungry bellies had us heading for a place to escape. As we read the menu outdoors, a woman passing by said “best burgers in New York”. That was enough of a testament for me. I felt like I’d stepped back in time to pubs in England and Australia. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with colourful chalkboards spelling out the food and drinks plus the cosiness of the wooden chairs and tables. We were immediately seated when we walked in and we endeavoured to dry off. They do hamburgers differently here - in pita bread. I asked for “chips” with mine when I should’ve said “fries” a common mistake we Australians make in the USA. The burgers were flavoursome with a texture I’m not used to, yet still tasty. To go with our burgers we had margaritas. Service was very good. Decor inviting. Outdoor dining available - which would be lovely hadn’t it been raining. Toilets antiquated yet somewhat charming. We will return.

5 Star Rating Had a really nice date here. I hadn’t been but it seemed to have nice low lighting and chill vibes so I knew I’d be able to score a kiss at the bar, a great think to do in New York City. I picked this bar with confidence and pretended I’d been before. And I heard ( which was true) they play movies on a projector, so I was confident I could comment on that if the conversation lulled. Bar tender was great a nice young lady

5 Star Rating This place is the last remaining stronghold of old Tribeca. The music is incredible, you are transported back to the glory days of 80s Manhattan and yet it all feels fresh. Could’ve just been a bad night for the bartender but I’d definitely try to greet customers a little more warmly next time.
