5 Star Rating Really beautiful place, has a tropical feel to it. The service was good but did decline towards the end when it started getting a bit more busier. The food was delicious, minus the shrimp pasta it was a bit on the bland side. But everything else was so great. The menu is very minimal, which was perfect for us because we got to basically try almost everything in the menu. The drinks really were the highlight! The drinks were refreshing and just right for a nice summer day. Would definitely be back again.

5 Star Rating Overall rating: 4.65 Initially this place was a bit hard to find. I got it kind of confused with Soho diner. I was kind of expecting the worst experience ever based on the terrible reviews, but I liked it! If you’ve read any of my other reviews, you know by now I love anything with plants. And this, was a rainforest 😍😍 My friends were running late and the service was very friendly and patient while I waited for them. I didn’t drink but the juice was very good. My friend had the salad and I had the granola which were both great. Things got a little rocky soon after when a 3rd friend came. The service dropped significantly. They took forever to get her order, bring out food & close the check. Like 20+ minutes of waiting. We’ve even tried to wave multiple people down a few times, but they were so busy and so crowded. I don’t think that’s an excuse when it’s a $$$ place in Tribeca though. As much as I love the space and the environment, it’s more of a one-time visit for me. As 3 people, I can’t imagine how it is with a party of 4 or more. It has to be better other times? Maybe a happy hour after work? Definitely not brunch for me. I recommend coming at a different time, unless you enjoy or wouldn’t mind waiting.

4 Star Rating This place was so beautiful and we were so excited to try it. The front receptionist was clearly in a bad mood but was not excited to see customers. Kinda dampened the vibe but we looked past it. Demetrius was the most helpful. Food was okay, vibes and service were excellent. I would go back. Thanks for having us!

5 Star Rating WATERMELON MARGARITA is a must try when you come here!!! They have really good skirt steak with chimichuri. Bartenders and waiter are very friendly. Overall, recommend this place for a date, family/friends dinner. Would go back to try more on the menu! Note: They are open all summer and closed during the cold season.

2 Star Rating The patio is really beautiful, lots of interesting plants. We just stopped in for a drink and were told we could sit at the bar or high tops (even though it wasn’t busy at all). They had a lot of staff working who were just walking around. We waited for almost 20 minutes only to be told that we had to order at the bar and then go back to our table. Not a great experience, and probably wont be back.

5 Star Rating Interesting place to have a meal. The atmosphere is very nice, cozy and secretive kind of. With the decoration very well thought and put together. The service is on top. Nothing to be said. All good. And food wise, it was really good. We got the dumpling fried as a starter and the strip steak. Excellent. It’s a little bit expensive, but we had a great evening.

5 Star Rating Overall rating: 4.8 Absolutely obsessed with this place! I went on a Monday around 7:30pm. I was surprised at the low rating and saw most of them were due to sitting at the bar or bar service related. I went for dinner with my friend and our service was great! Our server was super friendly and provided great recommendations. I didn’t realize Macao was an actual location before I went but they had a great description on the menu which was very informative. The food was so good! I’m obsessed with their croquettes! So much that I ordered a second round to go 😅 The dumplings were good but still can’t stop thinking about the croquettes. The fish soup was really good and flavorful too. I highly recommend giving it a try. A tad expensive but it is in Tribeca and I feel like it’s worth it in my opinion. 🤤

5 Star Rating I have been raving about the DJ that played last Saturday to anyone who will listen. Disappointed my gfs wanted to leave because I would have happily danced until 4am. I can't remember the last time I've experienced such a perfect set. Hit after hit after hit after hit. The vibes are always great in the basement but had the time of my life. As usual the drinks and service were great!!

5 Star Rating The atmosphere is welcoming and very open. The high ceilings really make this place cozy, and all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The lights are great, and so are the prices! They have strong drinks, so no complaints. There's room for a beer pong table and I think they also had a pool table. I definitely recommend this place whether you're going out or catching up with friends.

5 Star Rating This is pretty cool lounge in the downtown area. I came here for NYC dance week and had a blast dancing with my friends. They play all the current pop songs and the vibe is pretty upbeat. The bar is situated in the middle of the room and there is seating all around as well as plenty of space to dance in the middle. A nice place to chill!

5 Star Rating Recommended by friends and this was really worth a visit! I ordered a cherry pie and English breakfast tea as afternoon tea. My friend, by contrast, ordered grilled chicken breast and fries for some small bites. The cherry pie was a must-try. Though it was too sweet for me (and I am not a big fan of cinnamon), it still tasted great with my English breakfast tea. Grilled chicken breast and fries also tasted good with a fair proportion. Love the country style of the restaurant and it seemed to be pet-friendly ( I saw a dog dining in while having my meal).

5 Star Rating Was looking for somewhere for breakfast near Tribeca and a helpful passer-by directed us to Bubby's. So lucky! This is one of the finest breakfasts we've had! There was a bit of a queue for larger parties, but as there was only two of us we managed to be quickly seated. The food and service is phenomenal and the buzz of the restaurant is vibrant. 4 Star Rating I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bubby’s Diner, a spot that has long been on my bucket list. First and foremost, the food was absolutely delicious. I indulged in their spectacular pancakes and bacon mac & cheese, both of which were prepared to perfection and left my taste buds thoroughly satisfied. The flavors were rich and the portions were generous, making for a truly satisfying meal. The ambiance of the diner was also noteworthy, with a fun and lively atmosphere that added to the overall experience. The highlight for me was the photo booth in the bathroom area, which added an extra element of entertainment to the day. While the food and atmosphere were exceptional, the service fell short in some areas. Unfortunately, our orders were not delivered in the order we had requested. Despite the kitchen's claim of closing soon, it seemed as though other tables that were seated after us were still able to place their orders. This inconsistency was disappointing and left a slight blemish on an otherwise enjoyable day. I rate my experience at four stars, primarily for the wonderful food and atmosphere.

5 Star Rating Great location for breakfast or brunch. Don’t let the line in front scare you as we didn’t have to wait more than 15-20 minutes even though the line was huge! Their food is fabulous and super filling. The pancakes are a must. My recommendation is to order a main dish and a double stack with banana and pecans + berry compote with Nutella, rather than ordering the pancake flight as it’s quite big. This way you get to try multiple items on the menu without wasting food! Over all an easy 5 star from me!

5 Star Rating What a cool spot. The food and drinks here are amazing. I had the best pear vodka with sage syrup, lime juice and martini. Fabricio is a master at making them. The ricotta cheese cake is out of this world. Showed up to Pepolino a third time and make a mistake with reservation. I booked Saturday but showed up Friday and Jada was kind enough to save the night. I was visiting with a guest and wanted to share one of my favorite restaurants and was mortified to find out if showed up on the wrong night. Thank goodness for Jada. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. I would give it ten stars if I could.

5 Star Rating AMAZING Italian restaurant!! I came here on a Saturday for lunch and the place was practically empty. I sat outside in their beautiful outdoor patio area. The waiter was very kind and gave us some phenomenal suggestions. To start the bread and the Suppli’ di Riso we’re fantastic. I really enjoyed the tomato paste that the bread came out with. And the Suppli di Riso was fantastic. The tomato sauce it was in was beautifully made and had rich depths of flavor. The Maltagliati al Ragu’ di Vitella was also fantastic. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the veal ragu tasted amazing. We finished off with the Pollo Agli Agrumi. This dish was to die for. The mix of the citrus and the chicken was delicious. It actually might be one of my top chicken dishes ever as it was such a great combination of flavors. The chicken was also cooked perfectly. Overall, this restaurant was amazing and 100% recommend!

5 Star Rating I had their grilled asparagus with shaved Parmesan and toasted shaved pecans which was spectacular! It's such a simple dish but their preparation and ingredients were absolutely top notch. The different textures came together remarkably well. Their burger was wonderful too. It was perfectly seasoned, the American cheese was perfectly melted and slightly creamy just like I like it and the bun was super fresh and pillowy. The meat was hot with just the right amount of decadence but it still had the simplicity of what seemed to be a simple salt and pepper seasoning. I asked for medium well and it was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere here was relaxed with a bit of rustic charm and the service was attentive and friendly. Their outside area seemed to be really popular during my Sunday afternoon visit but I was quite happy eating inside. This place is a gem and I look forward to visiting again when I'm in the area. I took a picture after my first few bites of the asparagus dish so it might have ruined the art of the presentation but it was so good I wanted to keep a visual memory of it.

4 Star Rating A sudden rain storm and hungry bellies had us heading for a place to escape. As we read the menu outdoors, a woman passing by said “best burgers in New York”. That was enough of a testament for me. I felt like I’d stepped back in time to pubs in England and Australia. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with colourful chalkboards spelling out the food and drinks plus the cosiness of the wooden chairs and tables. We were immediately seated when we walked in and we endeavoured to dry off. They do hamburgers differently here - in pita bread. I asked for “chips” with mine when I should’ve said “fries” a common mistake we Australians make in the USA. The burgers were flavoursome with a texture I’m not used to, yet still tasty. To go with our burgers we had margaritas. Service was very good. Decor inviting. Outdoor dining available - which would be lovely hadn’t it been raining. Toilets antiquated yet somewhat charming. We will return.

3 Star Rating Great burger, but serving it in a pita bread... not so great. You should give client option for bun, pita, or lettuce wrap. There aren't many good burger places left in the area, so would be nice to have an option for a traditional / classic burger. The patty is high quality, now the rest just needs to follow. In addition, serving it with Lays chips or salad? Another fail. Great vibe, service was also great. Just add buns and you'd be gold. Cheers!

2 Star Rating I often come to Starbucks to enjoy my lattes but I must say that this morning’s visit was very disappointing. It’s 9:30 am I came in with my son to enjoy our morning latte and apple cider and by the counter I encountered two young men being very loud and having more like a bar conversation. Totally inappropriate for a morning coffee shop. It went on for quite some time, then one of the young men left and the other one got behind the counter. Very disappointing that one of the men was actually an employee on break without regard to guests around.

2 Star Rating Not a great Starbucks. Unfriendly staff who got my order wrong in spite of the guy repeating it back to me. Not a great vibe in the store at all. :( But the (wrong) coffee and the yogurt was pretty good.

5 Star Rating Update #3 (11/10/21): Thank you so much for keeping up the barriers during this season & keeping dining in safe, selling the ASL Starbucks product alongside of the classy holiday goodies, being gender affirming, as well as making me the prettiest holiday drink I've ever seen & with such warmth. I will be in gone for a while, so this is such a sweet treat after many hard days. You are my safe place. Much love & Happy Holidays & Happy New Year! Update #2 (10/25/21): I have been not going to any Starbucks near me lately (due to local law) but this one, in NYC, I adore. For one, they take the safety of their patrons seriously, since they adopt NYC law where you MUST have proof of vaccination against COVID-19 in order to dine in & that they require you where a mask indoors regardless to protect those who are dining in safe unless you are fully vaccinated. That means a lot to the immune compromised like myself. And more over, once again, the Baristas and staff are very friendly & treat you & your order kindly & with detail, even if something goes wrong in the app! You can also trust me since I'm a soy milk guy (due to good ol' lactose intolerance). This is the only Starbucks that has earned my trust solidly after a long absence & look around. Thank you everyone! Update #1 (March 2021): Baristas and staff are friendly & patient. Even though you can't dine in at the moment (for obvious reasons), the staff and well-crafted drinks bring me back. :) Original Review: Nice Starbucks. Always get the drinks right. Just don't try to go to the bathroom unless you want to wait for 20 minutes lol. That's a pretty consistent thing.
