5 Star Rating friendly service the Spanish waiter and her daughter made my day ❤️. Le Pain Quotidien at the intersection of West Broadway and Warren Street stands out as a refined retreat in the civic core of Lower Manhattan. Just one block from City Hall Park, the NYC Municipal Building, and the New York City Council chambers, it sits at the nexus of government, commerce, and community life. The café is steps away from major subway lines, including the 1, 2, 3, A, C, E, R, and W trains, making it one of the most conveniently located spots for downtown meetings, coffee breaks, or focused work sessions. The space offers more than proximity—it delivers atmosphere. The scent of freshly baked croissants, tarts, and espresso greets you before you reach the door. Inside, warm wood tones and natural lighting soften the city’s intensity, creating a setting that balances utility and comfort. It’s a known haunt of local officials and city staff, many of whom stop in for a quick espresso or a quiet moment between sessions. During a recent visit with my service dog Brooklyn Meeko, I was welcomed by Juana and the team with their usual grace and precision. Juana’s espresso remains unmatched—deeply aromatic, technically clean, and served with care. The pastries are textbook-perfect: croissants with a crisp shell and tender interior, tarts layered with balanced acidity and sweetness. This café functions as both a public refuge and a civic lounge—where elected officials, neighborhood regulars, and visitors coexist over expertly crafted food and drink. 10:54 PM hanging out with my friend Meeko the Bernadoodle he is a 2 year old male, who loves to say hello to pretty girls. I’m getting an espresso maybe avo toast for brunch. Then we will pick up woody the Catahoula Male 7 year old. From there we will probably be going to the dog pool at Sirius Back with Woody Juana is not here 🥺

4 Star Rating The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, making me feel welcome right away. I ordered a matcha latte with almond milk and an avocado toast. The avocado was wonderfully fresh, though the bread was a bit on the stiff side. On the other hand, the croissants were fresh, flaky, and absolutely delicious. Overall, it was a great experience.

5 Star Rating Since 2016, we have had the pleasure of dining at your original location on Reade St. This visit marked our first experience at the new location, which is truly breathtaking. Our friends from Ireland, who joined us for dinner last night during their honeymoon, said it the finest dinner they had ever had. We wholeheartedly agree. The cuisine was absolutely exquisite! The service, food, and ambiance were, as always, exceptional and consistent. Our server, Molly, was outstanding and charismatic. She kept us laughing throughout the evening and was on top of asking about food allergies, which was very important since I recently developed allergies to hazelnuts. The entire team, including the lovely hostesses that greeted us with a warm welcome, Mez, Griffin, Darren, and Robert, provided attentive service, ensuring our every need was met. Your team is truly exceptional. We eagerly anticipate our next visit. Excellent job, Chef Forgione!

5 Star Rating My experience at forgione was pretty good. I believe my waiter was in training but the service was still excellent. Virgin Cantaloupe Daiquiri was nice. The duck in a jar was delectable, one of the better pates I’ve had. Laotian sushi was missing that green sauce underneath on the first piece but was otherwise delicious. The hiramasu was a work of art and I enjoyed the presentation and flavors. The sichuan flower was a great touch. Chili Lobster was more of a thin bisque but had great flavor, lobster was cooked perfectly. Enjoyed the garlic butter toasted bun. I only wish there was more. Chicken under a brick was also delicious. Chicken was juicy, skin was crispy. Potatoes were nicely cooked and absorbed a good amount of flavor. Unfortunately, two of my broccoli rabe pieces were burnt and that messed up the start of the dish. Mille Feuille was good enough, pastry was nice and soft, with a solid shell. I should have picked a different dessert. Would recommend, will try again with another person this time.

5 Star Rating We had an amazing experience at Forgione. From the moment we walked in, the host set the tone with a warm welcome and great service that carried through the entire evening. The food was outstanding; the ravioli and spaghetti were perfectly prepared, the steak was cooked beautifully, and the egg dessert was one of the highlights of the night (creative, delicious, and memorable). Every dish felt thoughtful and elevated, and the atmosphere was relaxed yet special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for incredible food paired with genuinely attentive service.

2 Star Rating The food was decent, I would just say they are trying to be more sophisticated than they can. Duck pate was incredible, really rich and delicious, unfortunately the bread portion is not enough for the amount of pate, so just put one more slice which would be great or serve less pate to reduce leftovers. The lamb didn’t have much taste, the sauce wasn’t correctly ligated and the gnocchi was flavourless and the artichoke tasted like canned artichoke. The mille-feuille potato wasn’t crispy, just had a good butter taste. I loved the burnt flavor on the mini onions and the hanger steak was ok but It definitely needed more salt. Presentation on the plates were really bad on my opinion. So overall for a 200$+ dinner I would expect or less fancy stuff and more correct flavors, or something better. Hope they take this to improve, because on a Saturday night most of the tables were empty.

5 Star Rating Unique dishes that pack flavor. Their signatures such as the lobster and chicken under brick are worth sticking to regular programming. Didn’t love the notkitori as it was on the saltier side. The Egg dessert is worth saving space for. Pretty good wine list here too.

5 Star Rating My husband and I love turkey burgers (which are not that easy to come by in restaurants). The turkey burgers here are out of this world! So packed full of fresh herbs and garlic. Occasionally my husband gets the chicken sandwich and he says it is really good, too. We always receive fantastic service and food at Mudville. We really enjoy having Camilla as our server & the manager (I believe, Brian) spent several minutes at our table making sure everything was great (plus other "food talk"). Mudville is our kind of neighborhood bar!

2 Star Rating Very disappointing experience, both food and service. I came in with high expectations based on reviews, but the reality didn’t match at all. I ordered the steak and fries: the skirt steak was over-seasoned to the point of masking the meat’s flavor, and the cooking was way off. I asked for medium rare, got something close to well done, with no sear/no Maillard reaction, the steak felt almost boiled. The Caesar salad was just sad: plain lettuce with some parmesan, nothing more, for $19. That’s the same price as a pepperoni pizza or chicken sandwich, and $2 more than short rib sliders but felt like a bland side, not a real dish. I’m not even upset about the prices, cuz I understand NYC is expensive, and I work in the industry but when the food lacks care, that’s where the real problem is. What made things worse was the service. Our server checked on us literally 10 seconds after the food arrived, while I was still cutting the steak. The overall vibe felt like forced friendliness aimed at the tip, not genuine hospitality. We politely shared our feedback with the manager, who barely reacted with a flat “I’ll let them know.” Then, when paying, both the server and manager were hovering around us to see how much we’d tip and we even overheard the manager whispering to the server about it as we walked out. I did leave a tip out of respect for the kitchen staff, but overall, the experience was far from what it should have been. A restaurant’s reputation is built not only on food, but on how customers feel when they walk out the door.

From the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left it was an exceptional dining experience. 5 Star Rating Such an enjoyable experience…the food was so nice, especially the egg yolk truffle ravioli, one of the best I’ve ever had. The sorbet was very good and refreshing as well. A little suggestion would be that the pork chop(the really thick one) is a bit dry and tasteless, would be so much better if accompanied with some sauce. However other dishes are really delicious. Service is nice as well. Servers are professional and polite, but also friendly, feels like home. Nick greeted us by the end of the meal and we had a very enjoyable chat. Love the atmosphere, really nice decor, brings me back to my Europe trip.

4 Star Rating The food and service at this restaurant was excellent. The menu is a 3 course fixed price or you can order Chef’s tasting menu. We went with the 3 course. There were also numerous two-bite tastings compliments of the chef. My guest had pappadelle veal and pork ragu with a hint of orange as first course and pistachio encrusted lamb chops as the entree and I had the Ecuadorian shrimp and lobster tail as first course and filet of sole Franchese as entree. Delicious! For desert I had the chocolate raspberry caramel tart and my guest had panino pistachio hazelnut caramel wafers layered with hazelnut gelato. Amazing! The waiters and servers were very attentive and friendly. I would easily give this restaurant 5 stars however, I realized as I was leaving that there was no accessible restroom. The restrooms were down a long flight of stairs in the basement. I know this is an old building but it is the law to have ADA accessible facilities. I encourage the management of this fine restaurant to correct this situation. If you or your guest has mobility issues you may need to pass on Scalini Fedeli.

4 Star Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 4.5/5 We visited Tiny's and the Bar Upstairs on a Wednesday evening, and it was a lovely spot. The outdoor space was inviting, perfect for people-watching, and the upstairs area was warm and cozy, ideal for winter. We didn't have a reservation, but our hostess was kind enough to find us a seat. The service was a bit spotty, likely due to the crowd, but our experience was still enjoyable. We ordered the orange wine, which was delicious, and some appetizers - citrus ceviche, Tony's tater tots, and burrata with peach. Everything was fresh and well-made. And for dessert, we got the Kit Kat chocolate cake( forget the name!) , which my friend with the sweet tooth thoroughly appreciated. It's a great spot for a date night or a group of four. We'll likely be back for the drinks, food, and ambiance, but might try to avoid peak hours.

4 Star Rating Cosy townhouse with a kitchen downstairs and bar upstairs. Thursday night was a full house and the service was good. The beet and goat cheese salad was ok. Very bitter but not offset by any sweetness via dressing or beets, which were plain and not pickled (would have helped). The steak was pretty well cooked and the chimichurri was on point. The duck was a little bit of a let down. Slightly chewy with the skin not quite crispy enough. It also had a bland undressed side of plain arugula and some slightly roasted cherry tomatoes. Dessert was their Kit Kat. We enjoyed this but not sure if we really found any resemblance to a Kit Kat 🙂. Cocktails were nicely crafted. My partner enjoyed hers. Overall a decent experience but prob won’t return for the food.

It was very hyped everywhere so I decided to try it, but won’t be back. I’ve had very good bagels in NY, just like this one, but at 1/3 the price. An extra point for having the “gluten free” option for the menu, plus a special green bagel made for St. Patrick’s day.

5 Star Rating I've been a student around here for only a week so I haven't explored the area a lot. But I received a flyer for student deals as long as you have ID. Not sure how long the promotion will last but I hope I can get it again when I need a quick meal near school. You can get a BEC with tax for under $6! (I needed to get it without cheese) Tip: use their spice seasoning by the pick up counter before you take the bagel to go! (Love the red one) Maybe they can help you add it before packing the bagel.

5 Star Rating Im a bagel snob. These are some if the best bagels I've had. Add a great staff and nice atmosphere and you have a 'must go' in NYC!!! Don't get me started on the orange juice. FANTASTIC!!!!
