Marc Forgione always delivers a memorable experience. We’ve been coming here for 8+ years and have never had a bad experience. Getting a res can be challenging, but it’s usually pretty easy to get seats at the bar and sometimes this ends up being even more fun! Menu items not to be missed are the Hiramasa (you’ll dream about this dish), Chili Lobster (ask for extra toast to scoop up all of the broth), and Chicken under a brick. This time around for mains, we opted to try something outside of the Chicken and went for the Duck and Oxtail pasta, both were delicious! We always enjoy our time at Forgione and look forward to the next one! **Final note: the bartender was truly fantastic and was killing it the whole night while making cocktails for the entire restaurant and servicing guests at the bar, truly impressive. Wish we got her name!!

I don’t give 5 stars. This Tribeca mainstay is one I would recommend for any occasion, from the fanciest to an easy night out. The staff is friendly and professional with a sommelier who knows their wines and a customized menu by Marc Forgione himself. Over the many years of coming here, I have my faves which include the hiramasa, the lobster, the chicken, the proposal sauce and anything on that dessert menu. On this particular day, I had The Egg. Wow! Go!

Romantic, cozy, and dimly lit Michelin starred restaurant in Tribeca that fires on all cylinders! From the ambiance to the suave service, from the starters to the dessert, everything was top notch! With a small seasonal menu, the chef doesn't fail to disappoint on any item. The ravioli were tasting many quality, savoring every bite. The duck with cherry sauce was among the best duck dishes we've had, and the chicken under a brick was 120% something to write home about. Absolutely elegant in its simplicity! I love to cook at home and it got me thinking how I could recreate something this amazing with beautiful ingredients! The "egg" dessert is a surprise, but it's like something out of a Netflix cooking show, spectacle and flavor in every bite!! Don't hesitate to splurge on an evening here!!

great LPQ! there's a lack of staff but the people who do work here were so nice, attentive, and the food came quickly! everything was absolutely delicious, i especially recommend the all of the soups, the ancient grain bowl, and the cauliflower and cheddar frittata! it was the perfect place to have a good meal with family :)

The mushroom quiche was very tasty and the staff were friendly. We recommend this place. Nonetheless, the mini carrot cake and the mini banana chocolate cake we ordered were extremely extremely small (not worth the 3$ each).

Irina is my favorite server, but every server is awesome. My favorite dish is the warm grain bowl. The service is by far the best part of the experience, which says a lot because the food is fantastic.

Location and atmosphere is perfect for work or a nice sit down with a friend or family. It’s Big and open. also good for food to go. I was surprised I liked their quiche.

Had the avocado toast. It’s good. The seasoning is a little bit different in that they use cumin which pairs well with avocado. It looks a bit plain and unexciting compared to how others do avocado toast. They like to spread a thin layer of avocado spread and then top with sliced avocado. It’s makes for a less messy eating. If you’re looking for something light but filling I recommend the avocado toast.

I did not explore the menu as I was only waiting for my guess I started with the the Buffalo Chicken Dumplings and complimentary table bread and soft butter. My waitress stayed closed and served my needs on a level 10. The Buffalo Chicken Dumplings came out very quickly. This was my brunch meal and it hit right on point in my guts.

A true New York experience with really good food. Split a salad and the Odeon burger with my friend, which was plenty filling (plus some bread). Definitely sit at the bar if you can (if a small group). The burger was basic but perfectly done and really good. I am usually a bourbon drinker and usually don’t like martinis, but I had their cucumber martini and it was SO refreshing and delicious. They had a solid spirits menu, I chose the martini because I wanted to branch out. Very glad my friend took me here, a great dinner spot if you’re in the area.

Came in for a quick lunch after a photoshoot. We didn’t have reservations, but they were kind enough to seat us :) Didn’t have much time to look over the menu. Most of us went for the burger. It was a pretty damn good burger. Next time I’m in the area I would like to check out the rest of the menu

My last meal here was more than 25 years ago. Amazing that the venue has stood the test of time, and that the kitchen continues to serve excellent light meals. This spot is a ‘must do’ at night when the authentic Art Deco woodwork and mirrors create a kind of ‘time machine’; the large red neon CAFETERIA sign on Thomas St., the clock on the right hand side of the bar and the Telephones sign near the steps to the loos set the mood. Food quality is good but doesn’t overreach- my pasta primavera with artichokes was delicious without pretension. Highly recommend the timeless profiteroles though the macchiato tasted bitter. Overall a cultural institution which carries the best of the Modernist period forward for new generations to enjoy!

We just love this Tribeca staple. Long standing French bistro. excellent selection of wines and competent and quick service. it has gotten wildly popular since I first started coming here back in early 2000's, but it's still worth it. Get a reservation and leave room for dessert.

10/10 This is my favorite spot to get wings and a burger in this area. Food: It has great buffalo wings, and the burger and fries are absolutely delicious. They have Pat LaFrieda patties and it hits every time. My friend had the Chicken Bites and loved them too. I need to try other things on the menu. Will report back 🫡 Atmosphere: Cozy, classic pub vibe, but feels newer and super clean. It gets pretty busy for all sorts of sports game, and they have great outdoor seating in the summer. Service: The wait staff has always been super friendly whether it’s busy or not. They also make great suggestions on the menu.

Came here and sat outside. They have happy hour specials from 3-6 from Tuesday to Friday. We started off with cocktails which were a good amount of sweet and refreshing. We ordered brussel sprouts, wings, and mac and cheese to share. I also got the fried chicken sandwich and we got chocolate chip cookies with the bill. The meal was good and the service was prompt.

Mudville9 is awesome! The salads are crisp, the burgers are juicy, the beer is always cold (and they have a HUGE selection), wings are never disappointing (iykyk), and the service is unbeatable. Mike, the general manager, is a gem and always ready to go above and beyond for his patrons. I frequent here after work for Happy Hour, and really love the atmosphere. It's cozy and warm, and really fun to meet friends at! Don't skip the wings, fried pickles, seasonal beers, and signature cocktails!!

Expansive beer list with interesting offerings on draft. The staff were attentive and friendly and the space was well laid out: plenty of varied seating (high tops, regular tables, a long bar). The food is normal Americana pub fare with wings and such and the prices were reasonable. I didn't notice a happy hour special but would definitely return.

Exceptional Italian food and excellent service. Highly recommend if you enjoy Italian cuisine with some great collections of wine. The vodka pasta is the best I have tried ( it’s a little spicy). The sorbet was very refreshing.

I like the environment, service and food. I like the lobster head-on shrimp pasta, signature egg york ravioli with black truffle, salmon entree with mushrooms and onion sides. Nice desert. Chocolate soufflé is good. A little sweet for me. Best pistachio gelato I have ever had including in Rome and Florence.

Scalini Fideli never disappoints. We came here 3 years ago after I proposed to my now wife and our experience then was memorable. The food here is delicious and the food presentation is beautiful. The chef goes above and beyond with his amazing cooking skills and presentation. I highly recommend this place if you love good Italian food and a romantic place to bring your wife, husband or significant other. This time around yet again a romantic memorable two year anniversary that my wife and I enjoyed with great food, ambiance and top notch service. We will definitely continue to come here and always make it a memorable time in this romantic Italian restaurant.

Celebrated two of my besties birthdays here for brunch and it was the perfect spot for a cozy catch up. The waitress even surprised us with their signature Kit Kat cake and two candles! The food was yummy and the menu offers a great variety making it easy to accommodate different cravings. The decor and vibe made it feel intimate. The waitress was even sweet enough to show us the third floor which they offer for private parties. Had heard a lot of great things about this spot and happy I finally checked it out. Will definitely be back.

We enjoy having their cocktails. They are so good. However, the food is just average. You could find those in anywhere in New York City. Their oyster is a little bit expensive.

This place was super cute and the food was really good. However, the drinks were not made very well and they took almost 45 minutes to come. The staff was also rushing us and in a hurry to get us to leave. Would try again for the food and atmosphere, but probably not order any cocktails.

I am a regular at Saffron and dining here is nothing short of exceptional. All of their dishes are rich in flavor The staff is always kind and friendly. Its hard to find a Indian restaurant in NYC that is consistent and genuinely cares about your dining experience.

A very typical Indian restaurant in Tribeca. The problem with Indian food is that the chicken is always dry. Same here. But the service was great. A narrow restaurant layout. Buffet style but not self service. The lunch special with nan and a coke ended up being $18.

Ordered Chicken Taco Today Along With 2 Samosas! I usually get full meals here. I'm not too happy with the $8 ticket for a single chicken taco. It tasted ok, a bit on the sweet side with a savory twist & not very fulfilling overall taste wise & definitely not satisfying enough for the price. Samosas are typically smaller than normal, but flavors + spice make it acceptable enough. Samosas are $ 5 per.

Best yet underrated fast food in NYC. Close to both City Hall and the 9/11 Memorial, small place but excellent food. Burger was superb, drinks o' plenty, and to top it all off, the fries are the best of all fast food places. Imagine the churros at a beach fair, but smaller and salty, with a pinch of parsley and coriander. Just divine. Would go there instantly.

Got the 4 for $5 deal that included a cheeseburger, French fries, apple pie and a fountain drink. The cheeseburger and French fries were very good. Can’t complain about a warm apple pie. Fountain drink is small but you get unlimited refills with it. Staff was friendly and cleanliness of this place was decent as in any other fast food place.

We stopped into Zucker's after our visit to the 9/11 Museum and WOW. Just WOW. The bagel sandwiches were one of the highlights of our day and the service was outstanding. The two guys making the sandwiches were super friendly and nailed our order. We actually talked about this place several times during and after our trip. I will absolutely come back here if/when I'm ever in the area.

The food was good and it was relatively quick. Price to taste to worth it ratio was not high but it was worth it. The food was pretty good. Got the bagel and coffee which was pretty good. The washrooms were mediocre but then again it’s in the busy area of NYC Service there is hit or miss. When I went up for my first bagel I was met with staff who just wanted me to order. Unsure of the menu, I asked what was good and some options and the reply was to “just get the original” just a little more cold service. Can’t complain about the atmosphere. The window front of the store was nice and had let in a good amount of sunlight as well as seeing outward.

TLDR: Bagels are above average. Service is great. Got lucky walking in at 9 to no line at this spot. Ordered a whole wheat bagel with everything, scallion cream cheese, lox, capers, onions, tomatoes and a small black coffee. (Photographed, half eaten - I don’t even feel bad) The Order came out to ~$21. The gentleman taking my order responds saying, we’ve got a special and I’m going to pretend you knew about it. New cost: ~$17. The gentleman saved me $4. I’ve come across very few spots with this level of care, and his charisma made the experience just that much better. I didn’t catch your name Sir, but thank you - you made my breakfast that much better. 5 stars for service.

Picked up a breakfast sandwich this morning and man it was delicious! The quality of bagel is on another level from the other ones in the area. It was def one of the most amazing bagels I've ever had. Crusty on the outside soft and fluffy on the inside. The eggs were cooked so well. The ordering process was nice and easy and the staff was super friendly. It's about double the price from other options in the area but def worth it!
