5 Star Rating friendly service the Spanish waiter and her daughter made my day ❤️. Le Pain Quotidien at the intersection of West Broadway and Warren Street stands out as a refined retreat in the civic core of Lower Manhattan. Just one block from City Hall Park, the NYC Municipal Building, and the New York City Council chambers, it sits at the nexus of government, commerce, and community life. The café is steps away from major subway lines, including the 1, 2, 3, A, C, E, R, and W trains, making it one of the most conveniently located spots for downtown meetings, coffee breaks, or focused work sessions. The space offers more than proximity—it delivers atmosphere. The scent of freshly baked croissants, tarts, and espresso greets you before you reach the door. Inside, warm wood tones and natural lighting soften the city’s intensity, creating a setting that balances utility and comfort. It’s a known haunt of local officials and city staff, many of whom stop in for a quick espresso or a quiet moment between sessions. During a recent visit with my service dog Brooklyn Meeko, I was welcomed by Juana and the team with their usual grace and precision. Juana’s espresso remains unmatched—deeply aromatic, technically clean, and served with care. The pastries are textbook-perfect: croissants with a crisp shell and tender interior, tarts layered with balanced acidity and sweetness. This café functions as both a public refuge and a civic lounge—where elected officials, neighborhood regulars, and visitors coexist over expertly crafted food and drink. 10:54 PM hanging out with my friend Meeko the Bernadoodle he is a 2 year old male, who loves to say hello to pretty girls. I’m getting an espresso maybe avo toast for brunch. Then we will pick up woody the Catahoula Male 7 year old. From there we will probably be going to the dog pool at Sirius Back with Woody Juana is not here 🥺

5 Star Rating Beautiful and cozy spot for breakfast or brunch in the city! Le Pain Quotidien has a warm, rustic atmosphere that feels both relaxing and stylish. The organic breads and pastries are fresh, flavorful, and perfectly baked. I especially loved the croissants and the avocado toast — simple but delicious. The service was friendly and efficient, and the space is very clean and comfortable for dining in. Great place to meet friends, work on a laptop, or enjoy a quiet meal. Prices match the quality and location. Definitely a place I will return to!

4 Star Rating The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, making me feel welcome right away. I ordered a matcha latte with almond milk and an avocado toast. The avocado was wonderfully fresh, though the bread was a bit on the stiff side. On the other hand, the croissants were fresh, flaky, and absolutely delicious. Overall, it was a great experience.

5 Star Rating I’m not sure why the signage & menu’s say Forge & online it’s called Forgione. I know it’s the owners name. This was really the only hiccup I had. I decided to meet up here upon advice, and with a close friend who, like me are pseudo foodies with a carnivorous appetite that day. I’ve read great reviews and was impressed that this chef has/had Michelin Star ratings. You’ll spend serious green back here, so be prepared. Although some plates are in the triple digits, it’s really not that uncommon…at least with steakhouses. For some it included several pairing dishes. This would make great location for a power lunch during the day or date night. This lower Manhattan location is well kept and quite close to other sites. I found the pacing & some typical etiquette slightly off key in some cases. It’s really not a big deal, but it stuck out. Food wise a lot of detail went into plating & rich savory dishes that were certainly bespoke. The Tomahawk steak shareable was impressive as it was timed well and rendered in a nice blend of butter, oil, & spices…memorable. We didn’t order a lot of dishes, but enjoyed what we had. The menu selection is small, yet offered a nice balance of poultry, beef, & fish. It’s a bit comical as the food section felt hidden amongst the drink selection. Note, you’ll find an wider, higher end range of spirits to pair or enjoy solo. Would I go here again and recommend? Yes. I’m no Andrew Bourdain, however like him I’ve traversed the globe several times, trying to savor the taste of the different regions. This isn’t my first Michelin-esque eatery. I’ll say this, impressive. Enjoy.

5 Star Rating Since 2016, we have had the pleasure of dining at your original location on Reade St. This visit marked our first experience at the new location, which is truly breathtaking. Our friends from Ireland, who joined us for dinner last night during their honeymoon, said it the finest dinner they had ever had. We wholeheartedly agree. The cuisine was absolutely exquisite! The service, food, and ambiance were, as always, exceptional and consistent. Our server, Molly, was outstanding and charismatic. She kept us laughing throughout the evening and was on top of asking about food allergies, which was very important since I recently developed allergies to hazelnuts. The entire team, including the lovely hostesses that greeted us with a warm welcome, Mez, Griffin, Darren, and Robert, provided attentive service, ensuring our every need was met. Your team is truly exceptional. We eagerly anticipate our next visit. Excellent job, Chef Forgione!

5 Star Rating We had an amazing experience at Forgione. From the moment we walked in, the host set the tone with a warm welcome and great service that carried through the entire evening. The food was outstanding; the ravioli and spaghetti were perfectly prepared, the steak was cooked beautifully, and the egg dessert was one of the highlights of the night (creative, delicious, and memorable). Every dish felt thoughtful and elevated, and the atmosphere was relaxed yet special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for incredible food paired with genuinely attentive service.

5 Star Rating My experience at forgione was pretty good. I believe my waiter was in training but the service was still excellent. Virgin Cantaloupe Daiquiri was nice. The duck in a jar was delectable, one of the better pates I’ve had. Laotian sushi was missing that green sauce underneath on the first piece but was otherwise delicious. The hiramasu was a work of art and I enjoyed the presentation and flavors. The sichuan flower was a great touch. Chili Lobster was more of a thin bisque but had great flavor, lobster was cooked perfectly. Enjoyed the garlic butter toasted bun. I only wish there was more. Chicken under a brick was also delicious. Chicken was juicy, skin was crispy. Potatoes were nicely cooked and absorbed a good amount of flavor. Unfortunately, two of my broccoli rabe pieces were burnt and that messed up the start of the dish. Mille Feuille was good enough, pastry was nice and soft, with a solid shell. I should have picked a different dessert. Would recommend, will try again with another person this time.

3 Star Rating Dear Odeon, in your reply to my comment, you noted that you appreciate constructive feedback, and I think that’s totally fair. When I left the two-word review “Yassified McDonalds” to describe my dining experience at your restaurant two weeks ago, what I meant is that when I looked at, smelled and tasted my meal, which was a hamburger and french fries, I had the experience of eating a familiar meal—often served at McDonald’s—that had been glamorized. Indeed, you improved the quality of the burger: higher quality meat, fresher bun, bespoke remoulade instead of special sauce, a tidy pedestal for my fifty five french fries—literally elevating the cuisine. As I ate, I experienced roughly the same essential combination of fat, carbs, protein, etc., that I would have at McDonald’s for about half the price. My body processed the nutrients and transformed them into caloric energy that I expended to audit and traverse our beautiful home, New York City. And for that I am grateful. “Yassified McDonalds” is not a poor review. I enjoyed the food at Odeon; I enjoy the food at McDonald’s; I enjoy yassification; what’s not to like? It just wasn’t a five-star experience for me, and honest appraisals of experiences are the mortar that secures the very foundation of our burgeoning online review culture. If anything, the review is a reminder to myself about what I pay for when I go out to eat, and how atmosphere and location and service are built into the cost, and how sometimes I’d rather just have next to no hospitality and enjoy a more affordable burger in the comfort of my own hovel. I appreciate how the wry pithiness of the original review may have been hard to parse initially, and I hope you’re able to garner some more concrete information from this longer comment. At the end of the day, I think we can agree that any dining experience that doesn’t end with a grimace or a visit from the Hamburglar is a successful one. With warm and sincere regards, Daniel Stainkamp

4 Star Rating I try not to go off a restaurant based off a pickup order but the food is decent. Portioning for the price is a bit off but the hot honey sauce on the wings had a nice spice to it. If your heat sensitive, one or two fries will do the trick. Service was excellent and I really want to try their desserts out next time I go. This is an establishment that would be good for a meeting, date, or after work wine down.

5 Star Rating Such an enjoyable experience…the food was so nice, especially the egg yolk truffle ravioli, one of the best I’ve ever had. The sorbet was very good and refreshing as well. A little suggestion would be that the pork chop(the really thick one) is a bit dry and tasteless, would be so much better if accompanied with some sauce. However other dishes are really delicious. Service is nice as well. Servers are professional and polite, but also friendly, feels like home. Nick greeted us by the end of the meal and we had a very enjoyable chat. Love the atmosphere, really nice decor, brings me back to my Europe trip.

5 Star Rating This place is a big break from all the trendy, hard to get, crowded italian places in NYC. It's old school, you get treated like royalty, anything you order I'm sure is going to be top notch, and you get complimentary small bites from the chef all the time. If you want to impress your in-laws, this is the way to go. The butternut squash ravioli was to die for, and the tiramisu is probably the best I've had in the city. I bet the pre-fixe menu is great, but we ordered a la carte and had the best time too. We didn't feel rushed to get up and leave, and we just had an amazing evening overall. Would definitely come back soon, thanks for the impeccable service and food!

5 Star Rating Tiny's & The Bar Upstairs, nestled in a distinctive three-story, literally tiny townhouse in Tribeca, offers an intimate and fabulous atmosphere. The cool design of this historic 1810 townhouse is truly fascinating. The setting itself is the star, creating a distinctly warm and romantic vibe with its rustic Americana styling. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy, making it an ideal spot to spend an evening. The aesthetic, from the weathered brick and framed 'little things' to the 'dirty' pink wallpaper, contributes to a highly visual and charming environment. We were there only for drinks, and the bar experience was unparalleled. The barman was absolutely fabulous, providing exceptional service that felt personalized and attentive. I ordered a cocktail (don't remember the name as I was there some time ago and forgot to write the name of the drink in my notes ;) ), that was pure perfection, a truly standout drink. If you're looking for an atmospheric, cute and cocktail spot, Tiny's & The Bar Upstairs is highly recommended 💛

4 Star Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 4.5/5 We visited Tiny's and the Bar Upstairs on a Wednesday evening, and it was a lovely spot. The outdoor space was inviting, perfect for people-watching, and the upstairs area was warm and cozy, ideal for winter. We didn't have a reservation, but our hostess was kind enough to find us a seat. The service was a bit spotty, likely due to the crowd, but our experience was still enjoyable. We ordered the orange wine, which was delicious, and some appetizers - citrus ceviche, Tony's tater tots, and burrata with peach. Everything was fresh and well-made. And for dessert, we got the Kit Kat chocolate cake( forget the name!) , which my friend with the sweet tooth thoroughly appreciated. It's a great spot for a date night or a group of four. We'll likely be back for the drinks, food, and ambiance, but might try to avoid peak hours.

3 Star Rating Really nice and dark environment. Our server (didn’t get his name) was really attentive and helpful. Drinks were really nice. Unfortunately two of the dishes were cold and had to be sent back. The burger was okay but quite bland. We then found that some of our party’s plates were being cleared before everyone had finished which just felt a bit odd. We were then being rushed to finish and pay towards the end. Our server who was rushing to take payment, got the money and then sat down to eat a meal. It was clear she was rushing us so she could eat after her shift on the bar. Overall, it was fine but some staff need better training and the food needs more attention.

5 Star Rating Today was my first time here even though I have worked in the area for a while. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. The server made great suggestions and the food was delicious. What I liked best was the spicing of the food was perfect. I had The Feast, one chicken dish, one veggie and rice. I find Indian cooking is a real art. All the spices blended well so the rice, eggplant and chicken tikki created explosions of wonderful experiences in my mouth. The price is amazing! $13.75 for a tasty and extremely satisfying meal in this neighborhood is exceptional. Especially since we are in inflationary times. I was too full to have dessert. Their dessert menu looked so tempting. I will have to go back to try other dishes and leave enough room for dessert. Can’t wait to try their Moong Dal Halwa - sweet lentil pudding with nuts and ghee! Yummy! I highly recommend this place if you want reasonably priced, delicious food while feeling welcomed by the friendly staff.

5 Star Rating If you’re in NYC, you cannot miss Zucker’s Bagels. You simply cannot. Do yourself a favor and try them. Zucker’s is THE bagel institution of nyc. My favorite ever. Will always come back.

4 Star Rating Zucker’s Bagels & Smoked Fish is a true New York gem. The bagels are everything you want them to be—crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and always fresh. I had the classic lox with cream cheese, tomato, red onion, and capers on an everything bagel and it was perfection. The smoked fish is top-quality, and you can tell they take pride in their ingredients. Service was friendly and efficient, even during the busy morning rush. Great spot for a legit NYC bagel experience!

4 Star Rating This place is good, but totally overpriced and the staff is not friendly at all. Indeed, the bagel was delicious, but not worth 20 dollars. It was very hyped everywhere so I decided to try it, but won’t be back. I’ve had very good bagels in NY, just like this one, but at 1/3 the price. An extra point for having the “gluten free” option for the menu, plus a special green bagel made for St. Patrick’s day.

5 Star Rating I've been a student around here for only a week so I haven't explored the area a lot. But I received a flyer for student deals as long as you have ID. Not sure how long the promotion will last but I hope I can get it again when I need a quick meal near school. You can get a BEC with tax for under $6! (I needed to get it without cheese) Tip: use their spice seasoning by the pick up counter before you take the bagel to go! (Love the red one) Maybe they can help you add it before packing the bagel.

5 Star Rating The open face was definitely worthy. The staffs were also helpful and friendly. They were so knowledgeable of bagels.
