The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, making me feel welcome right away. I ordered a matcha latte with almond milk and an avocado toast. The avocado was wonderfully fresh, though the bread was a bit on the stiff side. On the other hand, the croissants were fresh, flaky, and absolutely delicious. Overall, it was a great experience.

friendly service the Spanish waiter and her daughter made my day ❤️.
Le Pain Quotidien at the intersection of West Broadway and Warren Street stands out as a refined retreat in the civic core of Lower Manhattan. Just one block from City Hall Park, the NYC Municipal Building, and the New York City Council chambers, it sits at the nexus of government, commerce, and community life. The café is steps away from major subway lines, including the 1, 2, 3, A, C, E, R, and W trains, making it one of the most conveniently located spots for downtown meetings, coffee breaks, or focused work sessions.
The space offers more than proximity—it delivers atmosphere. The scent of freshly baked croissants, tarts, and espresso greets you before you reach the door. Inside, warm wood tones and natural lighting soften the city’s intensity, creating a setting that balances utility and comfort. It’s a known haunt of local officials and city staff, many of whom stop in for a quick espresso or a quiet moment between sessions.
During a recent visit with my service dog Brooklyn Meeko, I was welcomed by Juana and the team with their usual grace and precision. Juana’s espresso remains unmatched—deeply aromatic, technically clean, and served with care. The pastries are textbook-perfect: croissants with a crisp shell and tender interior, tarts layered with balanced acidity and sweetness.
This café functions as both a public refuge and a civic lounge—where elected officials, neighborhood regulars, and visitors coexist over expertly crafted food and drink.
10:54 PM hanging out with my friend Meeko the Bernadoodle he is a 2 year old male, who loves to say hello to pretty girls. I’m getting an espresso maybe avo toast for brunch. Then we will pick up woody the Catahoula Male 7 year old. From there we will probably be going to the dog pool at Sirius

The food was good . One of the dishes we ordered was the warm grain bowl: I was expecting it to be warm - but it was cold (it was still good, though)

This was a cute little place I had to suck into for a meeting when I didn't have wifi available. The things is, THEY DIDN'T HAVE WI-FI EITHER! 😂 Anyhow, I ended up using my phone as a hotspot and stayed because it was nice and relatively convenient. It's a Bit noisy with clinking glasses and plates, etc. but also really pretty inside. The staff was very nice and sorry the wifi didn't work. Plenty of cool seats And table options. Vibe is #aight.

HUGE shoutout to the manager for helping us out and getting us in last minute right before a Knicks playoff for a table of 12!!! Service was great, very attentive. The food was pub food , yummy and everyone was full by the end. Great beer selection. Can’t recommend enough for the service alone.

10/10 The vibes and atmosphere are chill with a little classy thrown in. It’s giving modern sports bar vibes and the food and drinks were OUTSTANDING. I will remember this burger for the rest of my life. Mudville’s martini game is fire and Stephanie my server gave impeccable hospitality. Great place to end the day, watch sports, eat, drink then repeat.

Returned for lunch after a long absence. Had the steak sandwich and Jerk Chicken Wings along with a Greenport beer. The guys I went with had a spicy chicken sandwich and a burger. The burgers and sandwiches come bare so we ordered a side of cheese fries to share. We all agreed that the wings and fries were fantastic and the sandwiches & burgers were great. Caught up with a little Euro cup while we ate. Very positive experience.

Greate place to stop by at lunch, friendly staff. Miguel is the best person to discuss lunch options.
Attractive price for special menu between 11 and 3 during weekdays.
Thank you.

More like Mid-ville...
Came here hoping for a decent neighborhood spot but left underwhelmed. The name fits, unfortunately – the food was generally mediocre, especially considering the high prices. The real issue was the chicken sandwich; it wasn't just spicy, it was so excessively hot it was nearly inedible. Just overwhelming heat that destroyed any other flavor. Burger was a bit overdone and mac and cheese was chunky and dry (tough to accomplish).
Good beer selection and available 22oz servings, if you can stomach the prices. Definitely not worth the walk for 'mid' food and one painful miss. Plenty of better options in Manhattan.

They are great for what they are. Service is quick and attentive. Perfectly cooked rice, veggies and chicken. They have lunch specials but Spacing gets a bit cramped during lunch hours.

The sushi is very good and the service is fast and friendly. It is packed inside. The other dishes like chicken and white rice are also good. The sushi rolls and miso soup are very good and better than nearby places especially for the price. The rolls are better than Whole Foods and about the same price.

This is surprisingly affordable and fresh sushi. I should say we ordered vegan dishes for all eight of us, so I cannot comment on the sashimi or other sushi that there are other mixed reviews on. We enjoy the miso, avocado cucumber and sweet potato tempura rolls. The food was delivered quickly too! If you have a big family to feed and want to have sushi, this is a great option for vegans/vegetarians.

Very good lunch specials for the price. Place gets busy during this time, noticed that a lot of take out orders were slamming the 3 sushi chefs but they seemed to be handling it we. Still got my lunch special, 3 Maki rolls, relatively quick. Very tasty and satisfying.

Went to Akimoto Sushi with 4 friends and the 5 of us could barely fit into the restuarant. It is scarce on space, almost claustrophobic, so don't plan on staying too long. The food was pretty good. We got the lunch Salmon and Chicken Teriyaki bento boxes, crab salad, spicy crunchy shrimp rolls, tuna sushi, miso soup, salad, and green tea. 🍣 The establishment seems to be family owned as the waiters were two young boys, both between the ages of 11-15. We paid about $80 to feed 5 people which is a bargain in my book. All in all, it's a no frill Sushi spot. The food is good, the portions are decent and the prices are extremely affordable. Do not expect stellar service but do expect to leave quite satiated with change to spare.

We came in for an evening tea and were pleased with the quality of Chai. Saffron Cardamom Chai was absolutely amazing. Together with some Bhel Puri and Veg Samosa, couldn’t ask for a better evening snack in downtown Manhattan near the Brooklyn Bridge.
There’s no guest restroom in here though.

Best Nutella pizza I ever tried before! I had the opportunity to try several appetizers and they were also outstanding: coconut shrimp, whipped ricotta, antipasto swekers😍, mini calzone is 10/10, don’t miss out the cannolis and the cheese cake 😋 they offered me my favs cocktails; lychee martini, expresso martini and aperol without expecting it. Exceptional manager and waitress, made my family feel like home (my moms favorite was the chicken taco, that was delicious innovation)😁
Definitely will to come back soon! I noticed they are doing catering and private events now, I great idea to keep in mind for my future gatherings😋

This is a solid little restaurant for good fire grilled pizza in Manhattan!! The smaller pizza is 6 slices and the larger one is 8 slices. Crust is thin and crunchy. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a Hawaiian. Both were delicious! Air conditioned inside. Bathrooms available. No changing station for little ones - just FYI. Great find!

Food was okay and we got our orders fairly quickly. I would say the server gave a non-friendly vibe with our group but then we saw how he interacted with another patron and we were like oh I guess he doesn't like us lol. The chicken on my penne was a little dry. Pizza was freshly made. Overall service was just mediocre, nothing special to make us come back.

We visited this wonderful place and were absolutely delighted! We ordered homemade lemonade, pizza, and dessert — everything was just perfect! The pizza, baked in a wood-fired oven, was especially good: thin crust, an amazing garlic sauce as the base, and fresh ingredients. The lemonade was refreshing, and the dessert was the sweet finishing touch to the evening. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back again!

New Yorker here born & raised. Queens to be exact. This spot is hands down my favorite pizza right now. I honestly haven’t had a slice this good since I was a little girl. I only wish my Papa was still here to be able to enjoy a slice from here w/ me. Nonetheless, my loved ones are all getting a slice from here.
The dough the sauce the fast service classic & delicious NYC pizza.
I suggest this spot for a delicious slice of pizza (OR PIES🙃🤤😍) to anyone who loves good food…or snack. I do not judge! Get here early as possible cause it does get real busy. Like line out the door busy. If you got the time it’s def worth the wait.
Enjoy! & thank you. Little Italy pizza!! Please don’t ever change.
Sincerely,
A hardworking New Yorker 🩵

Location : 154 Church Street NYC 10007. I
never had potato flour pizza before and it wasn't bad. It's not like the real pizza but for a quick bite it was pretty good. Seemed undercooked, nope that's the pizza itself. Pizza is chewy and elastic feeling. The sauce is hard to identify and the cheese is an average grade cheese. I compare this pizza to Papa John's.

Classic NYC slice spot — quick, crispy, and no-frills.
Little Italy Pizza hits the spot when you’re in Manhattan and craving something fast and satisfying. The slices are big, cheesy, and have that thin, crispy crust that folds like it should. Perfect for a quick lunch or late-night bite.
The place is always buzzing, so expect fast service, not small talk — which honestly adds to the city vibe. Prices are typical for Midtown, but the portions make it worth it.

The staff was super friendly, which I really appreciated. But honestly, the pizza just didn’t work for me. It felt undercooked - the crust was still kind of doughy - and the flavor was pretty flat. I was hoping for a better experience, but it just fell short. Maybe I caught them on an off day, but I’m not sure I’d come back.

Saw this on Here Be Bar on YouTube. We were in the area, so we went to check it out. Food was blah. Crust was flavorless. Wasn't very clean. Owner was kinda rude. There are much nicer places for pizza in the city.
BlueBox Media - 6 months ago
This pizza was quite delicious. It was thin and very soft at the crust. The bottom had kind of a rough feeling, which is different for pizza, but I actually enjoyed it. The sauce was not overpowering and it was just right for a pizza party. Of course this is Manhattan so it is a bit overpriced, but it is good for the pizza place. The service was quick and we were able to get the boxes of pizzas as soon as we came in.

We had an amazing experience working with Benares for catering on our film shoot. They helped us organize food for a 30-person crew, and everyone was thrilled with the delicious spread.
We served butter chicken, white rice, and vegetable samosas—everything was flavorful, comforting, and super satisfying.
The staff was incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating throughout the process.
Highly recommend Benares for any event catering or to dine in! Great food, great people, great experience!

Absolutely delicious Indian and Southeast Asian Cuisine! The butter chicken is moist and flavorful. The samosas have a flaky yet tender crust with a fresh and well seasoned potatoes & peas filling. The garlic naan is so fragrant and soft, the perfect vehicle to dip in the butter chicken. Oh and their sauces are freshly made and among the best we have tasted. Don’t forget their mango lassi, it’s a winner every time.

Benares has become one of our favorite places to dine, and every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. My partner and I have been several times, and each experience is just as special as the last.
The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and intimate. Would be perfect for a date night or a quiet evening out. The staff is always welcoming, attentive, and professional. Their hospitality truly enhances the experience.
The food is phenomenal. Every dish is beautifully presented, perfectly spiced, and full of flavor. Whether we stick to our favorites or try something new, the quality is always consistent and impressive.
The drinks are just as memorable. The cocktails are creative, balanced, and pair so well with the food. You can tell the bar program is thoughtfully curated. We’ve enjoyed everything from their signature cocktails to the well selected wines.
Benares continues to impress us each time we go. It’s a place that never disappoints, and we always look forward to our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates amazing food, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere.

The food was great and so was the service! Everything seemed very cozy and comforting. We got misal pav, kachori, naan, methi malai matar, laal maans, lassi, and fresh lime soda. Kolhapuri misal pav didn't really hit the spot but everything else was delicious and I would recommend it! We just probably made a mistake of going there when the owners had their own party ongoing. It distracted the staff and they understandably felt like they had to reprioritize their services to cater to the party. Would definitely visit if I am in the area.

I fell in love with the Mediterranean sandwich. it's so flavourful. Sometimes, I add chicken, but it's good as it is. The price is about the same as everything else in the area $12-$16 a sandwich. There is a seating area. They have pick-up options, which i usually prefer. My only issue is had was that one time they served me a Mediterranean sandwich with icy cold vegetables. My teeth were not happy to bite into ice. I told the casher, and they gave me another Mediterranean sandwich. But the vegetables were still cold. I eventually removed the vegetables from the sandwich.

Some of the new staff at this location are rude, treating you like a child for being at the counter before it's your turn to ask about extras. And then roll their eyes because you ask questions about the extras. Maybe they don't like people with an accent? Always kinda slow, but I never minded till experiencing rudeneness. Avoiding the place going forward.
