5 Star Rating I couldn't resist stopping by the iconic Nathan's Famous. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere had a cool, nostalgic vibe. The hot dogs were spot-on, with a satisfying bite and a crisp finish from the casing. The onion rings were fresh, perfectly golden, and light. I'm not usually big on milkshakes, but when I indulge, theirs is a must—sweet, thick, and absolutely delicious (no pun intended—thanks, Kelis!). The corn dogs and buffalo fries were also fantastic.

5 Star Rating I had a fantastic experience at this fast food café. Despite being around for many years, the interior is impressively modern. The food is delicious, and I treated myself to some clams this time—they were outstanding. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food in a contemporary setting.

5 Star Rating I don’t care what negative things people have to say this place is an institution. It’s perfect because it’s Nathan’s. You can have a bad experience here, it’s still 5 stars. You think it’s overrated? It’s still 5 stars. You don’t like hot dogs? You got overcharged? You hate fun? Still 5 stars. Chili cheese dog once a year is what the doctor actually ordered. Orangeade is also a move. Good washrooms too. This place is like everything your inner child could dream of. Oh you want liquid cheese and bacon?? The answer is yes. 5 stars.

4 Star Rating Hot dogs are good as always but I think the price is a bit high. Coming to Nathan’s for many years. It draws a big crowd during the summers. I try to make it annual pilgrimage on my bicycle from Long Island. I come more for the vibes than the food. If you haven’t been, then I do recommend it. 👍

4 Star Rating Nathan's Famous on Coney Island is an iconic institution that truly lives up to its reputation. The atmosphere is vibrant and full of energy, reflecting the rich history and tradition of this legendary hot dog stand. The hot dogs are simply unbeatable - juicy, flavorful, and topped with all the classic fixings that make for a wonderful dining experience. They also offer a variety of sides and sandwiches. Definitely a legendary destination all foodies should visit.

2 Star Rating "If you watched a show, like I did—‘Somebody Feed Phil’ on Netflix—and you wanted to experience it firsthand, prompting you to visit this place, you made a ‘glamorous mistake.’ At first, I felt angry and then very disappointed, but as the place grew on me, I started to feel the ambiance, almost as if I were looking at a painting. It was no longer about the food; it was about experiencing what we always run away from. No matter how great you were, time can change everything. The glamorous people you see on TV could be sitting in a broken booth, taking orders, and getting frustrated with every ring of the phone. The place is a wreck; it’s not for food, it’s just another roadside eating joint. You can’t sit inside and eat; if you’re not local, I wouldn’t recommend going there at all. I took an Uber to this place at four times the cost of the food and had to stand outside to eat this pizza. If you love to see a part of history, go there. If you have an arrogant boss or colleague, take them there; show them that power and greatness don’t last forever."

4 Star Rating Still one of the best in NYC but take out only means the pie goes in a box where it loses some of that amazing texture you get when eating it right of the oven brought to your table fresh and hot. I fear those days are gone. It was kind of sad picking up our pies with all the old tables and chairs stacked in the corner. Different times for the place that was always my NYC favorite.

5 Star Rating Death, Taxes and Totonno’s is the best pizza in NYC. These are three self evident truths I know are indisputable and irrefutable. I do not say this in a vacuum, this is not some cheap hyperbole. I’ve eaten at the great pizza shops in the NYC area, I’ve been where you’ve been! This place is truly number 1 and worth the visit. The sweet Nonna who’s taken care of so many patrons is at the helm of this establishment. She will take your order, she will ask you if you need plates and napkins, she will double check if you need more and give you more just because she knows you’ll probably need more. That’s what a Nonna does! Let’s talk about the pizza, all I have to say is GARLIC. It’s the GARLIC, they microplane that stuff into the sauce. It’s practically floating on top. The lip of the crust is being kissed ever so gently by that sauce with the consent of that garlic and sprinkling of Pecorino Romano cheese. It’s the perfect bite. This pizza is what you need and you didn’t know it. It’s weep worthy. In conclusion, it’s a 10 outta 10, 5 stars, an A+, with a 4.0GPA, it’s the valedictorian, the Rhodes Scholar, it earns the U.S. Medal of Honor for its service, it’s the Commander in Chief of all pizza forces.

5 Star Rating In late 2022, I recently visited IHOP and had a delightful experience that truly captured the essence of the holiday season. I tried the Ginger Snap hot chocolate, which was rich, spiced, and incredibly comforting—perfect for getting into the Christmas spirit. Accompanying this festive drink was a plate of thick and fluffy French toast that was simply irresistible. Each bite was a warm, indulgent treat, with the toast cooked to perfection and topped with just the right amount of sweetness. The cozy atmosphere and holiday decorations added to the festive vibes, making it feel like a special Christmas morning. It was a memorable visit that left me with a smile and a bit of holiday cheer.

3 Star Rating IHOP in Coney Island offers a decent dining experience with good food options that cater to a variety of tastes. While the food itself meets expectations in terms of quality and taste, there is room for improvement in other areas, particularly in terms of service. One area where IHOP could enhance the dining experience is by improving their service standards. Being more attentive to customers' needs, maintaining cleaner tables, and having more efficient waitstaff could greatly enhance the overall experience for diners. By making these improvements, IHOP could elevate its dining experience from mediocre to memorable, ensuring that customers not only enjoy their meals but also feel well taken care of during their visit.

5 Star Rating Strong management. They turn any issues around and make any bad staff member be good or else. Indoors if rain and outdoors area. Great prices for Coney Island on beer. They seem to mave some specials on jumbo margaritas but you need to ask. Food prices what you expect for coney island. But for NYC not over the top. Well now have $3 drafts today 4/Aug/2024 so maybe every sunday. During the week they have Margarita and Beer specials. One bartender only thinks beer specials only for draft but another bartender is for all beers of bottles plus cans as well as drafts. 23/Aug2024: All was going well until eay evening when a aggressive African American backed into me a few times crowding me and when I turned around she said "do not touch me, alright" which is aggressive behavior plus race baiting taunting to me. The bouncer also African American tried to calm her down but did not let the manager kniw as a fellow African American and their "bro code".

5 Star Rating Surf City is the best restaurant after a half marathon!! It has been my 3rd year eating here after Brooklyn Half and it does not disappoint! Location: It is located in Coney Island. Right in front of Cyclone. There a lot of seatings inside and outside! Service: the staff were nice, they are very attentive and give us recommendations. Food: The food is always good! 3 years I have been going here and everything was delicious. PENNE ALA VODKA with SHRIMP: it is probably my favorite! The pasta is cooked al dente and the sauce was just delicious! They topped it with grilled shrimp and it was the perfect addition to the sauce! MARGHERITA PIZZA: best type of pizza here for me! The crust is crispy and cooked properly. The sauce and mozzarella is delicious. 1 slice and I’m already full. SPAGHETTI with MEATBALLS: very authentic! The meatballs is juicy and flavorful inside. The sauce is af course tomato base and tangy. The pasta again is cooked al dente! Price rating: 6/10. To be honest the price is not bad for authentic Italian food. I will definitely come back here to try other food!

I had to cut my own mozzarella cheese up and essentially remake the order. If I wanted to make food at home I could have saved my money and just bought the raw ingredients at the Super Market a few blocks down. Will not be returning to this restaurant for Pasta. This is not a knock on their other dishes.
