5 Star Rating I love eating hot dogs 🌭, but I usually hold back for weight control reasons. However, coming to this iconic place, I finally gave in. The all-beef wiener was a big plus for me. It was easy to see why this establishment is so popular. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.... eating, taking pictures, and soaking in the beach breeze and sunny weather. I was also pleasantly surprised by the prices. I honestly expected them to be more expensive, and the service was definitely fast. Definitely a place that creates good memories.

4 Star Rating Quite famous restaurant but honestly nothing special. Hot dogs were great, but I definitely ate better ones. Service was perfect, I didn’t have to wait that much and someone immediately took care of me. There’s really nice beach nearby so that’s a bonus!

4 Star Rating My son and I went for the experience. The food was WAY overpriced rivaling ballpark prices, and there was barely any place to sit and eat. Service was helpful, but nothing special. However, it is the original Nathan's Famous. We're glad we ate there, we appreciated the experience, but it's a one and done for us.

5 Star Rating Had to visit the original location of my favorite chilli dogs! Love those classic fries as well. Great snap to the dogs and the famous chilli recipe did not disappoint. Fries were on point as well. Very quiet because I went during the off-season, but it was a Birthday treat and did not disappoint! 😁

5 Star Rating The world in general is a rough place, and Brooklyn is just as rough. But it’s made all the better by the likes of Gargiulo’s. I had their Caesar salad and risotto. And to put it simply, it was all authentic in an age of authenticity. And our server was also a really cool cat. I don’t know if I’ll ever end up in Coney Island again, but if I do, I wouldn’t mind making another trip to Gargiulo’s for some authentic Italian food and friendly service.

5 Star Rating Gargiulo’s Restaurant was a wonderful venue for a christening celebration. We had the pleasure of capturing both photography and video there, and the experience was excellent from beginning to end. The staff provided great service, the food was delicious, and the space had a warm, elegant feel for a family celebration. One of our favorite details was the beautiful natural light on the dance floor, which made the moments feel even more special and photographed beautifully. A great location for anyone planning a christening, family event, or milestone celebration.

5 Star Rating We had just arrived in town and needed a nice meal. Wow, did we hit the jackpot! Greeted at the door by the owner, atmosphere was gorgeous yet comfortable, food was amazing, Emilio, our server, was not only professional, but friendly, and made our dining experience that much more special. Very reasonably priced for this quality of food and level of service. On the way out we spoke to George, the bartender, I can’t wait to come back and try one of his espresso martinis! Thank you!

2 Star Rating Hate being a hater. All I can say is this is the first time I’d DIDN’T finish a chicken parm (and not because it was too big or I was too full). Granted I was there for a big event and catering things is tough but wasn’t what I wanted it to be.

5 Star Rating Woooow such an amazing experience! Stepping into this restaurant was like going back in time 60 years to a bygone era of the godfather and goodfellas. Tuxedo clad waiters and a dress code with classy 1960s era of fine dining was such a cool experience. Our waiter Jerry was soooo classy, funny, and friendly! He was able to explain everything in the menu with detail and gave us awesome recommendations. The food was spectacular 60s era Italian dining with baked clams, veal Parmesan, and an absolutely massive seafood pasta platter that they served on still in the pan. Absolutely spectacular gargiulo’s is a must visit when you come to Coney Island, grazie mille!

5 Star Rating Totonno’s in Coney Island is a true NYC classic. The pizza is excellent — you can really taste the quality ingredients and the care that goes into making it. The staff are wonderful, straight-up authentic New Yorkers, which makes the whole experience even better. The old-school atmosphere feels like stepping back in time, and you can sense the history in every corner. This place is a real gem and such an important part of New York’s pizza story. Definitely worth the trip.

5 Star Rating Visited Totonno’s Pizza today. Located in Coney Island, this institution is only open on Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 5 PM. There is a lot to love about this pizza.   The crust was baked just right. Each bite you heard a satisfying crunch unlike other pizzas that are doughy. The end/crust was puffy and not flat. Lastly, the sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese round out your sensory overload! Coal fired pizzas take on a different flavor vs. wood and gas stoves. If you are in the area, you must try one of the few remaining coal fired pizza restaurants in New York City. Recent regulations have made it extremely costly for these restaurants to remain in business.  They only sell one size starting at $27 for a margarita. Visit them and check out Coney Island along the way.

3 Star Rating I wanted to love this place due to its history, being on Somebody Feed Phil, and being walking distance to home. However, it’s very expensive for what it is, 2 pizzas (one white and one pepperoni with a few vegetables) was $60. They were between 12 and 14 inches. The pizza is good but not enough for the price. The owner at first can be a bit rough around the edges but I stood in there and chatted with her and the staff with everyone becoming friendly. There is no inside seating anymore, takeout only.

4 Star Rating We visited at a pretty off-season, odd time, so it was nice and quiet. The bartender was incredibly kind and accommodating to my little one, which we really appreciated. While it’s not the most typical family lunch spot, the food totally exceeded expectations. The burger was absolutely delicious, and my son loved both the space and his grilled cheese. The place has that perfect sports bar/dive bar vibe—great if you’re in the neighborhood and looking for something casual. I only had a beer, so I can’t fully speak to the drinks, but the service was solid overall. What really stood out was the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food—we’d definitely come back for that alone. There are plenty of other options nearby, but the price point here is hard to beat. We spent under $40 and left completely satisfied. It was empty when we went, but honestly, more people should give this spot a try.thank you to our bartender 03.18 around 4pm we didn’t catch his name but he understands hospitality and def appreciate his service !

5 Star Rating Probably come once a year here, and have been doing so for over ten years. Usually after spending the day at Coney Island, we'll go to this place to unwind. It's low-key. The food is decent. I like that it's not too crowded. Don't get much, the typical order is a beer and some snack. Think the main reason is because they have an AC.

2 Star Rating This has to be the worst Popeyes experience I have ever had. There was vomit on the seats in the restaurant, a customer was openly vaping at a booth while they waited for their food, the wait was insane and the food itself was a disaster. The red beans and rice was not fully cooked, the sauce content on the chicken was laughable and the "wings" were not even wings as there was no bone in the chicken which I asked for. Also, I am quite sure that there was only one guy working both stations (register and food). If that is the case then I don't blame him, there is only so much one guy can do. But honestly that is the manager's fault for not hiring enough staff. The overall experience was not worth the $25 that I paid for the order. I normally have a decent experience at this place so I am quite surprised that the quality has gone down so much. I hope this changes really soon. Otherwise, I am never coming back to this location.

5 Star Rating This was my best experience with IHOP so far. I always have the same few things that I've tried and love: the hot chocolate, the chocolate milkshake, and the 2x2x2 combo (2 buttermilk pancakes, 2 eggs any style, and 2 bacon strips or sausages). We also ordered a side of fresh strawberries. Although that is not my usual experience, this time, the service was very fast (they are always nice, though! Just it usually takes some time to get a server to notice you). The bathrooms were spacious and clean. I love the food. The pictures show the 2 combos and a strawberry & banana French Toast, but the friend who ordered it wasn't too happy with it.

The tiki area is chill and this year I noticed they have some flatscreens , weather is nice, and I love that they have games like Jenga and Uno while you hang out and have drinks. Margaritas are always good, the atmosphere is fun, and bartender Alexis is my favorite! 5 Star Rating I just visited NY and one of the main things I wanted to do on my trip was to have REAL Brooklyn pizza. I had a couple of slices in Times Square and was disappointed, so I was getting worried that it wasnt gonna happen. We decided to spend the day at Coney Island and I asked several police officers where to get real pizza and they sent me to Surf City. When you enter, it is very unassuming and you can tell its a beach place.(You woukdnt expect it to have the best pizza of your life) The staff were friendly and due to them not having pepperoni, I got a slice of meat lovers with peppers and onions on it! Let me just tell you my life is forever changed by this pizza. The toppings were great, but I can in no way do justice to this crust!!!! It is such a great mixture of soft and extra crispy that it must be magic, because I've never experienced pizza crust like this!!! From the moment I took a bite, I literally did not put it down. (In fact I walked down the street eating it) I can tell you, hands down the best pizza ever! I will make a trip back just to eat this again. Please have pepperoni next time though.

5 Star Rating I absolutely adore this place. I’ll go on record to say it’s the staple that holds Coney Island together. They have an amazing team that is always ready to accommodate you and treat you with hospitality. I have NEVER received bad service here. I’ve spent some of my BEST spring/summer nights stopping in here. What I love most about Pete’s is the ambiance. The simplicity amazes me year after year. There’s “no self-serve kiosks” or menus on a TV screen, everything is real, personable and authentic. You can come with family and friends, or you can come alone and just chat with the employees. A couple of beers, some calamari, clams, oysters, a fresh fruit punch, hot dog and cotton candy for the kids. It’s a tradition at this point! Great people, great music, great vibes. Every year I’m sad when they close for the season, and ecstatic when I see the gate reopen in the spring! Today, I was told I ordered the FIRST Brooklyn Summer Ale of the season 🥇. Come and get you one today! 😊
