Had a large group happy hour here after work and it was a blast.
This super cool setting made for great conversation as we admired the old bank vault doors.
Drinks were well made and food looked decent although we didn’t order anything.
This place is also across from a beautiful little park making it for a very cool place to hang out in the city.

Dinner try-out ! The Trinity Place Bar & Restaurant in New York City has a unique ambiance (a former bank vault, a dine-in bank), friendly staff and good food (we had 3 different main courses). A popular spot to recommend in the Financial District for both drinks and dining, with a bustling bar area and quieter back dining room.

Cool chill atmosphere inside of an old bank. Located near Trinity church and walking distance from the 9/11 memorial and World Trade. The service was excellent but the actual food wasn’t anything to write home about.

I recently had dinner at Trinity Place, and overall, it was a great experience!
Food: The menu offered a fantastic selection, and everything we tried was flavorful and well-prepared. The highlight was definitely the steak, cooked to perfection.
Service: The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we were well taken care of throughout the evening.
Atmosphere: The vibe was lively yet comfortable, making it a nice spot for a meal with friends or a date night.
I would definitely recommend Trinity Place and look forward to returning!

Capital Grille at Lunch: Leisurely Luxury Without the Nighttime Noise
The Capital Grille proves that lunch can still feel like an occasion. From the moment I arrived, Jeff, the greeter, set the tone—welcoming, polished, and effortlessly professional. The kind of greeting that immediately lowers your shoulders and raises your expectations.
My server, Marlenny, was outstanding. Warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, she mastered the art of attentive lunch service without ever making the meal feel rushed. Everything flowed smoothly, calmly, and with care.
Now, the food—because this lunch came to perform.
The Field Greens Salad was crisp, fresh, and restrained in the best way. A light, elegant opener that refreshes rather than fills, setting the table for what’s coming next.
The Butternut Squash Bisque with Curried Apples, Mint Gremolata, and Honey was silky and layered, balancing sweetness and spice beautifully. Comforting without being heavy—exactly the kind of soup you want at lunch when you still plan to function afterward.
The Maine Lobster Salad with Citrus Vinaigrette, ordered as a main, was a standout. Generous chunks of lobster, bright citrus notes, and a refreshing lightness that somehow manages to feel both indulgent and appropriate for midday. Luxurious without being overwhelming—this dish understands lunch etiquette.
The Burrata and Tomatoes delivered creamy freshness and balance, cutting through richer flavors like a palate-cleansing intermission.
The Honey-Crusted Double Cut Lamb Rib Chops were rich, tender, and confidently executed—sweet, savory, and undeniably indulgent. Paired with creamed spinach that was velvety and decadent without crossing into excess, it was steakhouse comfort done right.
The steak with Capital Grille’s signature sauce was exactly what you want it to be: perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and enhanced—not masked—by the sauce. Classic, reliable excellence.
And the lemonade deserves its own nod—bright, refreshing, and clearly not an afterthought. A small detail that quietly reinforces the overall quality of the experience.
Final Foodie verdict:
Capital Grille at lunch delivers elevated dining without the heaviness or formality of dinner. With Jeff setting a welcoming tone and Marlenny guiding the experience with grace, this was a lunch that felt indulgent, relaxed, and impeccably handled. My faves were the tomatoes and burrata, the butternut squash bisque with curried apples and the steak with the signature Sauce. It's the kind of midday meal that makes you slow down—and honestly? That’s the real luxury in the City that Never Sleeps.

I am a very big fan of Capital Grille locations. Anytime I have a chance. I always go and visit one no matter where I'm at if it's available I'll go. Decided to go on a Friday night with some friends. We ordered the porterhouse, au gratin potatoes, sauteed mushrooms and some drinks. The reason for the 4 on the food, was the steak just wasn't done correctly. The first time and then went sent back unfortunately wasn't still done correctly, but it was perfect to taste everything else was wonderful. Our server was absolutely amazing. She was so great, and the dessert was great and the drinks were great.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
I had the absolute best experience at The Capital Grille thanks to our server, Amy. From the moment she approached our table, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. She explained everything on the menu to a T — from recommendations, to how each dish was prepared, to flavor notes I wouldn’t have even thought to ask about.
Her timing was perfect, her professionalism was outstanding, and she made the entire meal feel elevated and effortless. You can tell she truly cares about giving guests a great dining experience. Amy is the kind of server who makes you look forward to coming back.
If you dine at Capital Grille, ask for Amy. She turned a great dinner into an unforgettable one!

I had an amazing dining experience at the capital grille . The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, perfect for both a special occasion and a relaxed dinner. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection — juicy, flavorful, and tender. Side dishes like the mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus complemented the main dish beautifully. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, and their wine recommendations paired wonderfully with the meal. Prices are on the higher end, but the quality of food and service makes it absolutely worth it. Highly recommend for steak lovers!

New York, early September 2001, I was heading into the office and I decided to give Subway's new breakfast menu a try. I was a little weary of it, as I was a Dunkin's man, as was my father, and his father before him. Like my father, I'd come from a broken home and breakfast wasn't really a priority. Most mornings my mom spent cleaning up the smashed dishes from the evening before. I never really understood what had occurred until I was much older. I ordered the ham and swiss egger. Looking back I wish I got it toasted. The bread was fresh and still warm and the toppings plenty. I decided to take it to go and head into the office. On my way in, I ran into the most delightful street musicians, I decided the to sit down and enjoy my sandwich and thought my colleagues at Fiduciary Trust wouldn't mind if I skipped the 9:30 meeting.
Regardless it was a morning I will never forget, and Subway helped make that happen. 5 Stars would recommend.

Best seller in the financial district to break for food knowing there is a restroom available for customers who don't work in the city and MUST conduct activities for daily living. The proprietor answered the phone in the busy rush hour to answer my question. Keep talk fast as this location is busy but efficient and friendly. Seating is available. 👏👏👏👏👏💯

Thanksgiving fixed price menu service for party of 5 was provided with near flawless execution by the team at Irish American. 3-4 menu options for 3 courses and our family tried them all. They were delivered with such care and quality preparation that we were uniformly delighted with our holiday meal. And the staff and management knew how to stay on top of the meal flow and assure a positive experience for every diner.

Looks and sounds exactly like an Irish pub should be. We went on a Tuesday evening for dinner and there was a healthy after work crowd having drinks. I had the Guinness short rib which was absolutely divine. My husband had the chicken pot pie and the cauliflower starter. He had some food envy.

Relaxed atmosphere, friendly service and appropriately attentive - responsive and not hovering. Crisp fish and chips, loved the mashed peas and the coleslaw- wished there was more of both if them. Buffalo wing were excellent. Definitely a great place to escape the heat and have some excellent pub food.

This is a great food court with freshly prepared international and regional food choices, providing options for almost any taste. This is not typical fast food, but is served up fast. There’s also a registered food self-serve section where drinks and pre-prepared food can be purchased.

A great little high end food court where you can get everything from sandwiches and pizza to sushi. They also have a little market hiding in the back that has ever kind of drink or snack that you could need if you are just peckish. Overall, good portions for a reasonable New York price.

A great place to grab a bite during lunch in between work. So many options which dont compromise on quality.
I got sesame chicken, teriyaki chicken a spring roll and some fried shrimp veggies and noodles.
Shibi Umesh - 2 months ago
I ordered five pieces of chicken strips with fries and Sweet chili sauce to go with it. They took two pieces of chicken breast, over salt it, butchered it, then fry. They placed it over the fries and poured the sauce all over it drenching the fries with the sauce. When I got to work and sat to eat, the fries were too sweet and soggy plus the chicken was too salty to consume. What a waste of my money.

Service was super quick to take our order and get us out our sandwhiches.
Menu was hard to read since there was so many items on it, but Google reviews directed me to the pastrami — this was very good.
Italian was also good !
Atmosphere was very much an nyc deli, but cleaner than most.

As soon as we walked in, they directed us where to order and pay. I got a bagel with strawberry cream cheese (I think it was plain cream cheese with strawberry puree and it was delicious). I picked up a banana and juice too, and it was under $10. We ate in and it was very comfortable in there. Would highly recommend. We went around 8:30am on a Saturday and it wasn’t busy.

This deli is elite. Open 24 hours, and they’ve got the whole operation down to a science. I pulled up late, expecting a wait, but they had my sandwich ready fast as heck. The menu is stacked—so many options that it almost feels impossible to pick just one.
I went with the corned beef pastrami loaded with coleslaw and Russian dressing, and wow, that combo hit hard. The bread was fresh, the meat was stacked just right, and that sauce pulled everything together. It was messy in the best way possible.
You can tell they’ve been doing this for a while—everyone behind the counter moves with purpose. It’s that perfect mix of chaos and efficiency that only a real New York deli can pull off.
Crushed it right before walking across the Brooklyn Bridge, and it hit the spot perfectly. If you’re ever in the area and need something quick, hearty, and legit good any time of day (or night), this is the move.

Just wow! If you are looking for a good smash burger here is your place! Burger was huge, tasty, and so filling I couldn’t even finish it. Instead of fries, I wanted to try their Caesar salad and my goodness I’m glad I did. I have tried lots of Caesar salads but this one was REALLY good. I had nothing less than a great experience here and will for sure be back to try something else! If you are in the financial district stop by this location!

We really enjoyed our visit to Bill’s Bar & Burger. Sometimes you just want a proper, no-nonsense burger, and this place delivers exactly that.
We tried The Bill’s Burger and the South of the Burger, both served with crispy French fries, plus some Buffalo wings to share. The burgers were juicy, full of flavor. What we especially liked is that they’re not overcomplicated, just classic, well-balanced burgers where you can actually taste the beef, with toppings that complement rather than overpower it.
The wings were spot on too, nicely sauced with just the right kick. To top it off, we had a few cocktails, including a classic Margarita and a Blue Hawaiian, which were refreshing and surprisingly well made for a casual burger spot.
The atmosphere was relaxed and lively, perfect for Midtown, and our waiter was genuinely friendly and attentive, which always makes the experience even better.
Overall, Bill’s Bar & Burger is a great place if you’re craving a solid, tasty burger in the NYC, simple, satisfying, and exactly what you want after a long day of walking around the city. Definitely worth a stop

Came here with my husband since we had a Marriott Credit. Delicious food! I had the chicken sandwich and the ranch was amazing. Pretty nice portions, but you have to order sides separately, instead of them coming with the entreé, which I didn’t like. I would come back and recommend!

A chain (the worst thing I'll say). Great new server yesterday from Rhode Island (Feb 20) introduced us to Manhattan Moonshine in the afternoon. We came back after our show (staying at Marriott Downtown) decided on a $20 Hamburger not expecting much....typical high priced NYC....but we were SO WRONG! Best Hamburger we've had in ages.
Partner got the Keto Keto My Heart bunless, beef patties, shaved ham, brisket, bacon, vermont white cheddar, avocado, caramelized onions, red onions, chipotle aioli, fried egg, ltp
I got The Rock 9oz triple decker, brisket, vermont white cheddar, onion rings, bacon, caramelized onion, ltp, rock sauce (OMG the brisket!)
Highly recommend!

This place has so much personality, it’s a really good option around that area, they have burgers, sandwiches and many other things. I loved it. Service is great and prices are fine too. I’d definitely go back. Beers are good but lemon juice not so much, not natural juice. We ordered the sliders and fries, the shepherds pie for two and the chipotle chicken wrap. They were all very good. Fries are not the best but they are ok.

No better place to go immediately after visiting the WTC area and Museum than O'Hara's! It was a rumor, I believed it, tested it and it was, in fact, true! You feel like you are almost walking into a time capsule the moment you see the door and I won't spoil the surprise by telling you what happens AFTER you open the door.
It is a beautiful spot with so much personality, friendly service and the biggest burger I have ever seen. I couldn't even finish HALF. I think there was an entire pack of pack on it. ;) It was SO good.
Not to mention, really reasonably priced, especially considering it would have fed me three times. I was able to swap out reg fries for sweet potato fries (always a win). The photos of the HAND-WRITTEN menu will tell you everything about the vibe of this unique place..... And the prices are on them. Those portions are HUGE, people! Enjoy!
Will definitely be back!

My husband and I were just leaving the observatory and found this pub on the map and decided to give it a try. We definitely came across a gem. We find out this pub is a memorabilia for first responders. The history of this pub during 9/11 is just wow. The staff is so friendly, sharing stories with us and even letting us see their scrapbook of 9/11. The atmosphere was just the perfect vibe we were looking for. When we come back to NY, we are definitely stopping at O'Hara's.

I have to admit, being a farmer's daughter from Louisiana, I can be a bit of a sweet potato snob because well I am used to homegrown. Y'all this place came closer than any other place to matching my momma's sweet potatoes! They just melted in our mouths - we ordered a 2nd order they were so good! The rest of our food was also great!

The flavor was okay, but the matcha wasn’t blended well. You can still see clumps of matcha powder at the bottom, which affected the texture and overall experience. It would be much better if the matcha were mixed more thoroughly. They’d better train the barista well.

Great place for an exceptional steak! My husband had the shrimp cocktail and the 14oz. Wagu ribeye (medium) and I had the dry aged ribeye (medium-rare). The complimentary bread before the meal is addictive, so pace yourself or you won't have room for the main course! Same with the Parmesan & Truffle Matchstick Fries - you get more then enough to share with several people They were wonderful and the broccolini was cooked perfectly. The cocktails and wine selection was top notch and it was rather quiet that night (mainly because maybe folks were heading out of the city to visit family for Thanksgiving...), which made the meal even better. The server was great and she treated us especially well because we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. She comped our dessert, took a photo of us and placed it in a folder commerating the night. Very sweet! It's a great date night spot and easily can accomodate a large family or group. It was a great experience and we look forward to returning next time we visit the Big Apple!

We came specifically for the steak and it was totally worth it. Cooked to absolute perfection, seasoned just right — honestly one of the best steaks I’ve had in NYC.
Also ordered the truffle butter and it was amazing, highly recommend getting it.

We went to Morton’s for our anniversary, and everything was truly wonderful from start to finish. We were greeted with genuine smiles, and when we were seated, our table was beautifully decorated for the occasion. We were even given a sweet card wishing us a happy anniversary, which made the night feel extra special and truly appreciated.
Our server, Betsy, was incredibly attentive - she answered every question with precision and offered excellent recommendations. The food was outstanding, especially the shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad, and the A5 Wagyu, which is an absolute must. The Wagyu was perfectly marbled, rich and fatty, and melted right on the tongue with incredible depth of flavor. The lobster I had was crunchy on the outside, juicy inside, and seasoned to perfection. The drinks were just as impressive, and the presentation of everything was remarkable.
The ambiance was warm, cozy, and intimate - exactly what we were hoping for on an anniversary night. The only minor downside was that the steaks came out slightly undercooked, but they were still delicious nonetheless. To top it all off, the restaurant surprised us with a chocolate lava cake sundae for our anniversary, and it was absolutely remarkable - we couldn’t leave a single bite behind. The menu itself was beautifully presented, with detailed descriptions and plenty of eye - catching options. It it hadn’t just been the two of us, we definitely would have ordered much more.
Thank you Morton's for creating a memorable experience for us :)

I had an absolutely outstanding experience at Morton’s Steakhouse! From the moment we sat down, our server Tevin made the night unforgettable. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Tevin gave excellent recommendations, made sure our drinks were always full, and perfectly timed each course so we never felt rushed. His professionalism and friendly personality truly elevated the entire dining experience.
The food was just as impressive. The Dry-Aged Ribeye was cooked to perfection tender, flavorful, and exactly as ordered. The sides were delicious and generously portioned, and dessert was the perfect finishing touch. Every bite reflected top-tier quality and attention to detail.
Between the exceptional service from Tevin and the incredible food, this was easily a five-star experience. I can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful celebration dinner at Morton’s The Steakhouse after the successful end of AUSA 2025 Week. Everything about the evening was perfect — from the warm welcome to the impeccable service throughout our meal. The staff were professional, attentive, and made sure every detail was taken care of.
The food was exceptional. The lobster bisque was rich and velvety, the shrimp cocktail fresh and flavorful, and the steak was cooked to absolute perfection — tender, juicy, and beautifully seasoned. The sides, especially the grilled asparagus and sautéed mushrooms, complemented the meal wonderfully.
The atmosphere was elegant and inviting, making it the ideal place to unwind and celebrate after a busy week. The cocktails and wine selection were excellent and paired perfectly with the dishes.
Overall, it was an outstanding dining experience — refined, delicious, and memorable. A perfect way to wrap up AUSA Week in style. 🍷🥩✨
