4 Star Rating The concept behind the restaurant is very very cool, and walking through the bar area into the back room you really do feel like you’re about to get locked into a vault. There were tons of small details to give the restaurant an original bank feel, including a giant class that had shredded money in it. The ambiance was great, the food was just fine. We ordered the tuna and salmon tartar and hummus to start. Neither were anything original or out of this world. For dinner we got the wagyu burger and the duck risotto. The burger was a regular burger, and we have another place downtown that had a better quality, lower price so I wouldn’t recommend. The duck was quite nice, and the risotto had plenty of mushrooms in it, but the duck portion was a bit small compared to the risotto. all in all the dinner was fine.

5 Star Rating good food, good vibes, okay drinks. came here with someone who’s a regular here and he said the turkey burger > regular burger. turkey burger was pretty darn good (and not heavy at all) the cocktails were ok; i wouldn’t come back for them but not mad i tried them. the wall st sour (basically a whiskey sour) was decent, the rum drink (harvest something?) was weird, new amsterdam was also weird, and the spritz was ok

5 Star Rating Arrived 15 mins late to reservation but was still honored the table, for NYE it wasn’t packed. The food was prepared in great portion, the sides were sharable & everything tasted excellent. Hostess was quick, efficient & the restaurant is beautiful slightly dark but nice design.. overall great experience.

4 Star Rating The ambience and the service was great. The bread on the table is great too. However, the truth is the steak wasn’t so great. My friend ordered a filet mignon and it was both overcooked and dry. Surprisingly, it was the worst piece of meat when it was supposed to be the most tender. The two other pieces, a dry aged NY strip and the rib eye were average. They didn’t excel in their flavours and the rib eye was very chewy and fatty. The best piece of the table was the lamb chop, but this shouldn’t have been the case for a steakhouse. The seafood starter was not fresh. The lobster tails and the shrimps tasted out of season. I would not recommend ordering. I really wanted to try this restaurant and after this experience I have to sadly admit that it is bot worth spending for a fine dining experience if the quality of the food is fluctuating and leaning toward the lower end. We spent $120 per person.

5 Star Rating The level of service was excellent. Very polite and accommodating staff. Food was very tasty. Would recommend the clam chowder, crème brûlée cheesecake and Ribeye. The sides are excellent. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Not a fan of the bread, but I’m not a bread guy so that could just be me.

2 Star Rating For now I would say stay away from this restaurant. I think they are having staffing issues effecting all levels of service. For a finer quality dining place this was poor. The older man that was the host when we entered was the high point for service. The server was a waitress and not particularly professional. To order took far to long, the cooking of the food took to long, and when it was delivered it wasn't to the right people with sides spread throughout the table instead of to the people who ordered them. The manager is a tall black man who definitely needs work on his customer service. The table next to us had a harsh discussion with him when he arrived unexpectedly to tell them their policy is to group all checks and include gratuity since they sat together although only half had food. He refused to split their check except some drinks but would not let them choose their gratuity. He kept saying he was in charge instead of being professional. I paid for our table and after waiting for 20 minutes for our check people started to leave. I had to leave the table and find the servers station. I explained people were leaving and asked how much longer it would be for my check. Instead of her answering he stood up and said just tell them it will be five more minutes. Everything could have been more professional. It was more of an experience for fast food than fine dining regarding service. I know everyone is having staffing issues, but when the meal is expensive the expectation is a higher level of service which is not found here right now. I'd say check back in six months.

5 Star Rating I was blown away with the decor, the ambience and even the smell of this place lol. From the detailed walls to the bronze eagle statues throughout, it was breathtaking. I had the seared sea bass it was fresh, a thick-cut portion of the fish, was moist inside plus the top and bottom of the fish had this thin, flavorful crust that I will not forget. The staff were attentive, kind and were happy to serve you. The host that check me in came over to me while sitting to ask if the service is good. I really appreciated that. Cheers the my host Eden, she’s amazing! GO HERE!

4 Star Rating Great spot right across from our Sonder vacation rental apartment. Service was wonderful, good food. Nice mixed vibe. We did however let management know that the multiple wait staff were incorrectly UNDERcharging us, as we spent well over $100 in drinks and food. The first bill we got was $7. After telling the confused busboy/waiter(no clue where our original server went)all of our food items, 2nd bill was only $50. After telling him again he missed more items, 3rd bill was only $75. Still not right, but at this point it was time to check in to our room, so I just made up the difference with a really good tip. Great place, but staff needs to make sure they stop losing money on undercharging table.

4 Star Rating My friend and I came for dinner here and some drinks. Ordered the fish and chips, grilled lamb lollipops and a classic burger. The fish fillet was quite soggy and dry. Would be nice if it's crispy on the outside and soft juicy on the inside. The grilled lamb was definitely better the last time I came but this time was hard and dry, not juicy at all which probably was overcooked. The beef pattie on the burger was huge and well cooked though. Having drinks here is great though as the staff are polite and cool. No discrimination and they can be really fun too! Customers are also well behaved and it can be crowded when there's live games showing. Would love to go for their karaoke nights sometime soon!

2 Star Rating Tldr; decent price and convenient location, but food is mid and service is even more mid. - no instructions for where to order. It was empty and we asked and they didn't answer us, but instead shooed us over to other workers who didn't speak English? - eventually someone helped us, spoke English and took our order and payment - the menu is chaotic, the colours and pictures make it hard to read - only one pickle ): - got the pastrami sandwich, their mustard was very sweet and didn't taste good. The sandwich was warm and soft. The pastrami tender but just okay - the atmosphere is very sterile and kinda sucks, there was no one there and everything kinda hurt to look at - probably won't ever go back nor would I recommend it unless you're starving and around

The barista Stella was one of the rudest I've experienced. She talked poorly about everyone who was waiting. She talked about their drink choices, their attitudes and their audacity to order something complex. She then was passive aggressive about people not giving her attitude ;by thanking her for "being polite". Wouldn't come back here for the wait times and lack of customer service.

If you like your burger like this, it's a match, for me it was not. The service was friendly and kind. One highlight is clearly the decorations inside the pub. There are patches of all kinds of different Rescue/Police forces from all around the world pinned to the walls. I would not come to eat again here, just because the food did not match my expectations and for that the prize was pretty high.

4 Star Rating We visited from work for a weekday lunch during restaurant week. A thoroughly well run establishment - everything went smooth. Tables were ready for our reservation by the time we reached. Attentive service. Food took about 30 minutes to get to our table, but we were also a large group. I went with the meatball appetizer - delicious, particularly with the table bread to soak in the gravy. The 6oz filet minion was just the right portion size for me, and cooked to an absolute perfection. Tender, flavorful, pure. I went with the onion rings. The black truffle oil mayo was a tad too salty for my palate but super flavorful. We skipped dessert. One star taken because of a couple of fruit flies finding their way to our table in the basement dining area, a minor annoyance at worst. An old fashioned restaurant serving old fashioned food in a way that gets your tastebuds to remember and fetch you in the next time you are craving for steak.

Lobster bisque was excellent and poured hot right in front of me. The loaded baked potato was great too but I would have probably done less sour cream and stuff on top. And the filet mignon sliders were okay, kinda dry. I think I should have ordered a normal dish instead of the sliders, will do that next time. Would definitely come back though as they seemed to have other good stuff on their menu.

3 Star Rating The food was ok. My husband said his prime rib wasn't outstanding for $69. My lobster ravioli was just ok. I could only eat 3. The rest is in a doggy bag here at our hotel. We also ordered sides that were not that great. They were too cheesy. I guess we ordered the wrong sides. The dessert was good. Service was good, but tap water could have been poured more for my son. The waiters could have scraped away crumbs like they've done at other high end restaurants. We spent $300 here. The basement dining room is not impressive with its low ceilings. It was good to try Morton's for once in our lives, but this will probably be our last Landry's steak house. Gallagher's in midtown was much more impressive overall.

4 Star Rating The food here at Morton’s was very very nice. I was extremely pleased with how my steak was cooked (very difficult to find restaurants that cook to one’s liking) and the fries were the best I had in Manhattan since I arrived for this specific trip. It was pretty quite on the inside but the staff were great and attentive. Only issue we found was the beer was all bottled, no draft. Toilets were very cleaned and well taken care of. I would come back here to morton’s if I were in the area looking for a nice steak.
