Wonderful service from when you walk in. We sat all the way in the back dining room. It was nice lighting and felt like a private atmosphere. The bar area was a bit more lively. We were there at 5:30 pm on a Friday. The food was delicious!! We will definitely go back here.

Great food and drinks. Atmosphere is awesome since it’s styled as an old bank. Service wasn’t bad but wasn’t fast, was also lunch so understandable. Definitely recommend

This place is a hidden gem! Aside from its historical charm(used to be a vault for a bank), food was excellent. I got ahi tuna noodles and my coworker got a burger. Both excellent! Everyone is friendly at this place and the service is great. I plan to come back regularly!

5 stars for atmosphere, quality of food, portion sizes, drinks, happy hour and customer service! I had a great experience here last night. I was helped by multiple employees and each one was just as kind and hospitable as the other so I cannot name anyone specific. Wagyu burger and happy hour menu were all delicious and extremely affordable for that area in Manhattan. Oh and most importantly, they have extensive GLUTEN FREE options!!! Burgers, warm bread - you name it! Highly recommend and I definitely plan on returning!!

The concept behind the restaurant is very very cool, and walking through the bar area into the back room you really do feel like you’re about to get locked into a vault. There were tons of small details to give the restaurant an original bank feel, including a giant class that had shredded money in it. The ambiance was great, the food was just fine. We ordered the tuna and salmon tartar and hummus to start. Neither were anything original or out of this world. For dinner we got the wagyu burger and the duck risotto. The burger was a regular burger, and we have another place downtown that had a better quality, lower price so I wouldn’t recommend. The duck was quite nice, and the risotto had plenty of mushrooms in it, but the duck portion was a bit small compared to the risotto.
all in all the dinner was fine.

Consistency is what makes this place unique. Thanks Chris for taking care of us. The porcini rubbed steak was softer than butter 🧈 😋, so was the lobster 🦞 mac n cheese 🧀. Definitely worthwhile.

Long awaited reopening of the much loved Capital Grille. Amazing steaks, fish, salads and sides. Great wines and cocktails. The place is consistent so if you are willing to shell out the dough you can be assured of an excellent meal and service.

Really glad they reopened. When it was closed temporarily, I realized this was not only the best steakhouse in the area, but my favorite restaurant, too. The steaks are always sizzling hot and the service very professional and quick. But I think what I like most is the ambiance since there are few places like this one with the high ceilings and 2nd level. Just a magnificient place to enjoy dinner and/or drinks. I come every week.

Arrived 15 mins late to reservation but was still honored the table, for NYE it wasn’t packed. The food was prepared in great portion, the sides were sharable & everything tasted excellent. Hostess was quick, efficient & the restaurant is beautiful slightly dark but nice design.. overall great experience.

Good location, in direct proximity to the 9/11 memorial.
The burger was rich in flavour but the bread dry. The fries were good and crispy. Calories were uncountable. Good for a quick lunch.

Well what can i say. It is a fast food chain like every other one but to be honest Wendys tastes pretty good and is cheap in comparison but the atmosphere and mesiness in that place is just outrageous. I recommend to not eat inside and find a nearby Park like the Bryant Park to eat there

Food was good (although I didn't know it would be that spicy 🥵)
There were lots of seats, so easy to dine in.
However it's a shame that the restrooms were closed .
I don't understand why most american restaurants in NYC dont provide restrooms for their customer. Can't even wash my hands properly after taking the subway and before eating...

Great spot right across from our Sonder vacation rental apartment. Service was wonderful, good food. Nice mixed vibe. We did however let management know that the multiple wait staff were incorrectly UNDERcharging us, as we spent well over $100 in drinks and food. The first bill we got was $7. After telling the confused busboy/waiter(no clue where our original server went)all of our food items, 2nd bill was only $50. After telling him again he missed more items, 3rd bill was only $75. Still not right, but at this point it was time to check in to our room, so I just made up the difference with a really good tip. Great place, but staff needs to make sure they stop losing money on undercharging table.

One of my favorite bars to go to in lower Manhattan. The staff is welcoming and offers great service. I recommend this establishment if you're downtown by Broadway in the financial district of Manhattan. I didn't try the food but what I saw looked and smelled good. Ask for Babu or Shawn; they understand hospitality and know their stuff. Great suggestions on drinks and food. Everyone there seems to be happy about the atmosphere and attentive service.

Came here for lunch. Ordered the Chicken Pot Pie 🥧 😋. NOT DISAPPOINTED AT ALL!!.
As like most places I visit, I really like the local feel, u can hear the chatter at the bar, lol everyone is a sports expert here 😉.
It's 1155am, so crowd is all at the bar counter 😆. I have a few hours b4 heading to the airport.
Great ambience great staff. 👍

My friend and I came for dinner here and some drinks.
Ordered the fish and chips, grilled lamb lollipops and a classic burger. The fish fillet was quite soggy and dry. Would be nice if it's crispy on the outside and soft juicy on the inside. The grilled lamb was definitely better the last time I came but this time was hard and dry, not juicy at all which probably was overcooked. The beef pattie on the burger was huge and well cooked though.
Having drinks here is great though as the staff are polite and cool. No discrimination and they can be really fun too! Customers are also well behaved and it can be crowded when there's live games showing. Would love to go for their karaoke nights sometime soon!

Exceptionally clean and comfortable seating area. Quick service. I got the pastrami on rye - reasonable portion size. Mine came with two pickle halves and a bag of Utz chips. I got a Dr Browns Cream Soda and a cup of ice. The total bill (May 2024) was $18.50, which seems pretty reasonable considering the tourist area. I would definitely come back.

Went to see the trade center and it was super rainy. We were gonna go to BK to get a chopped cheese but the weather said otherwise. Stopped at this place and ended getting a chopped cheese. Was pretty good! Fries were crispy and right too. They have a lot of options. Stop in if you're in the area. From what I saw, you can't go wrong. They serve beer there as well!

A hidden gem in the Financial District!! We stumbled in this Deli when looking for somewhere for some breakfast.
A massive choice of different food, not just breakfast!
We had pancakes, bagels and coffee. It was all very fresh and very good sized portions.
I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a quick bite, in a nice relaxed environment with friendly people serving.

This place has been here for a very long time. The food is consistently delicious! For the area the prices really aren't bad at all. I have eaten here a bunch of times over the last decade and the sandwiches are some of the best I've ever had. The staff is always friendly and respectful. The coffee is pretty good too, I find it much better than some of the small coffee spots in the area.
Wanted to give a small update. Tried the pancakes today and easily one of the best I have ever had! The consistency and quality of this place is so good!

Had a roll with scrambled eggs, sausage and cheese - didn't care for the sausage they used, but the sandwich was good. Service was really good. Was a bit worried because everyone says that you need to know what you want because they'll yell at you. We found the staff very friendly and helpful in explaining what the process it. Highly recommend, great stop before you head to one world trade or 9/11 memorial.

We arrived at the Marriott later than planned, so we just decided to have dinner at Bill's Bar and Burger (can be accessed directly through the hotel). Burgers are huge! I had South of the Burger and could barely finish it. My husband and I later realized we should have shared a burger. There are lots of options for kids. Kids are provided with a colouring page and crayons to keep them busy. However, our meals came pretty quickly. Our waitress was very friendly.

First night in NY after a long day travelling and found Bill’s on Google. The reviews were great and it lived up to expectations. We were welcomed very quickly by Tylan and shown to our table. He also served us for the night and could not have been made to feel more comfortable. When stuck on deciding between two shakes, he gave a great recommendation. The food tasted great and shared the 5 sliders with my wife. Perfect amount of food for two if you don’t have a massive appetite. The beers were also good and having sports play on multiple TVs around the restaurant provided good entertainment and atmosphere.

Good place for a good burger and cocktails! This place is reasonably priced for the area and has some great burgers on the menu. I'd have to come back to try the shakes next time but they look delicious! All in all, really good food with great portions!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. been ordering for a while. Good chili cheese fries. Ordered the chili app. If I wanted 2 spoon fulls of chili I would have opened a can of hormel. I can’t believe I paid $12 for 20 stale tortilla chips and 2 maybe 3 spoon fulls of chili. Is that a joke? Scott the GM doesn’t feel that way. What a clown. Save your money and order from places that treat their people and not cheat them.

This is the American burger experience. A good variety of burger choices in a friendly atmosphere. I had the 3 mini burgers (“mini B’s”) and they were perfect. Caesar salad was fresh and not too saucy. Fries were average... but the Coney Island Pilsner was the perfect beer for the meal. This burger bar is clean, lively, and very well managed with attention to detail. Excellent service from my man Chris and all of the staff were friendly. Just walk past the front desk of the Marriott New York Downtown and you’ll find Bill’s.

Had a not-so-great experience. The line was short but the wait for lattes was .... 14 minutes and the wait for Cold buster coffee was 15. The barista Stella was one of the rudest I've experienced.
She talked poorly about everyone who was waiting. She talked about their drink choices, their attitudes and their audacity to order something complex.
She then was passive aggressive about people not giving her attitude ;by thanking her for "being polite".
Wouldn't come back here for the wait times and lack of customer service.

This pub is a must-visit place in NYC’s Financial District as it has great vibes and friendly staff, specially at the bar. It’s spacious with so many booths, tables, high chairs and bar seats. Many comfort food options and of course good selection of beer on tap.
It also has a lot of history to it; they have even created a story book for 9/11 tragedy and all the firefighters who came to help and how this pub was damaged and the story of repairing and bringing it back to life.

O'Hara's Restaurant and Pub is hands down my favorite spot in New York City, and it's become my go-to place for almost every weekend outing. Located in the heart of the Financial District, this gem is more than just a restaurant or a pub – it's a place brimming with history, warmth, and some of the best drinks you'll ever have.
The moment you step inside, you're greeted by an incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They always make you feel like part of the family. The owner is often around, mingling with guests and making sure everyone is having a great time. His friendliness and genuine interest in his patrons are a huge part of what makes this place special.
Now, let's talk about the drinks. They offer a fantastic selection of beers, cocktails, and spirits that cater to every taste. The bartenders here really know their craft. Whether you're in the mood for a classic Guinness or something more adventurous, they’ve got you covered. I've tried many places in the city, but the drinks here are simply on another level – consistently top-notch and expertly made.
Beyond the drinks and the welcoming atmosphere, this place holds a significant spot in the community’s heart due to its deep connection with 9/11. The walls are adorned with badges and memorabilia from first responders, making it a poignant and respectful tribute to the heroes of that day. It’s impossible not to feel a sense of reverence and respect as you sit among these tokens of bravery and sacrifice.
One of the best kept secrets here is the "Album." If you ask the staff about it, they'll bring out a book filled with photos, letters, and memories from people who have visited over the years. It’s a touching collection that adds a personal and historical depth to your visit, reminding you of the community spirit that thrives in this place.
It is more than just a pub for me – it's a place where memories are made and shared. I've taken all my friends here, and every single one of them has fallen in love with it just like I did. The combination of great service, outstanding drinks, and rich history creates an experience that is hard to beat.
If you’re ever in New York City, do yourself a favor and stop by. Enjoy a drink, soak in the atmosphere, and be sure to ask about the "Album." You won’t regret it.

The place gets busy for lunch service but they’re pretty good about getting you a seat quickly. Nice interior adorned with emergency service badges and flags from all over the country. Friendly service. Crafts beers, beers on tap. Usual pub food with some specials—Shepard’s pie, Irish stew. Surprisingly good burgers. Simple garnishes of tomato and lettuce and usual sesame bun but despite the simplicity, the beef patty really shines. Overall, good place to stop for pub food.

Great drinks and good food, near the 9/11 memorial. Highly recommend coming here. Personally my favorite bar in the city, I always come here when I’m in need of a drink. Highly recommended!
Patrick Bullard - 2 weeks ago
The burger I got was $17 and it is truly a CRIME that it cost that much, even by New York in 2024 standards. My expectations are not even that high and I was still appalled. Same with the wings (no pic) but they looked like they came out of a bag of Tyson chicken strips...and you only got like 6... I mean it tasted fine for a roadside diner where the food was less than $7 a plate but $17 for this actually hurts my soul. Truly a price gouged tourist trap. Don't go. We need to stop allowing businesses to pull this. (The patches all over the walls were cool, and I understand it's a historic place and that's great they were able to rebuild, but at what cost?!?)

This charming restaurant boasts a delightful ambiance. The onion bread is simply irresistible; we almost indulged in another serving! Their lobster bisque is equally delectable. Our server was exceptionally friendly, taking the time to answer our questions and recommending perfect pairings that enhanced our experience.

A cut above the rest 🔪 This iconic Morton’s location delivers on serious steak. The above dining area near the bar is more open with windows and feels more laid back. If you go downstairs, it’s more fine dining with white table linens. Either way, the food is top notch. We started off with baked bread and a cobb salad 🥗 which is shareable between two people. The waiter recommended the sliced potatoes au gratin with melted gouda; it’s very rich. We ordered a side of mushrooms 🍄🟫 which goes extremely well and compliments the steak perfectly. Order mushrooms on the side and eat each one with a bite of steak. Pairs perfectly. We ordered the filet mignon, bone-in rib eye, and the NY strip. All medium rare. All incredible!!! The portions were filling! Amazing dinner 💯 Highly Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We visited from work for a weekday lunch during restaurant week. A thoroughly well run establishment - everything went smooth. Tables were ready for our reservation by the time we reached. Attentive service. Food took about 30 minutes to get to our table, but we were also a large group. I went with the meatball appetizer - delicious, particularly with the table bread to soak in the gravy. The 6oz filet minion was just the right portion size for me, and cooked to an absolute perfection. Tender, flavorful, pure. I went with the onion rings. The black truffle oil mayo was a tad too salty for my palate but super flavorful. We skipped dessert.
One star taken because of a couple of fruit flies finding their way to our table in the basement dining area, a minor annoyance at worst.
An old fashioned restaurant serving old fashioned food in a way that gets your tastebuds to remember and fetch you in the next time you are craving for steak.

Great, chill, quiet restaurant to enjoy a good meal. Absolutely pleasant service, with attentiveness to refill my water or iced tea. Lobster bisque was excellent and poured hot right in front of me. The loaded baked potato was great too but I would have probably done less sour cream and stuff on top. And the filet mignon sliders were okay, kinda dry. I think I should have ordered a normal dish instead of the sliders, will do that next time. Would definitely come back though as they seemed to have other good stuff on their menu.
