some of the best pancakes i have ever had in my entire life… i’m not exaggerating. we also got the reuben which was to die for. they bring special sides of butter (including strawberry butter) and the ambiance inside is that of the perfect, classic, breakfast diner (the way it should be). This is a great place to stop before going to BBG (that’s what we did)

Old school diner with great selection of pancakes, 11 different ones, and sandwiches. Great service in a no frills place is always a treat. Bring cash or hit the ATM inside as no credit cards, which good for them, keep the money in the restaurant!!

My second time in, after a disappointing first time I figured I'd give it another try. No wait this time, despite the holiday.
Like last time, the staff were very friendly and the vibe was old school. Unfortunately, like last time, the food was inconsistent, with an eggs Benedict that somehow managed the double whammy of being both cold and overcooked solid. The cheesy grits were just bog standard grits with two slices of American cheese slapped on top.
On the plus side, the coffee was decent and filled again one during the meal, the bacon was crisp and plentiful, and the pancakes were fluffy and delicious. Stumped for the cinnamon roll on the recommendation of a friend, and it came with a couple of different compound butter which were good too.

First time visiting here. I'm from the bronx but came to Brooklyn to see family. So I stopped in here with my aunt for some breakfast. The service was good and we were greeted by everyone in the restaurant. The food came out pretty quick. The pancakes were the best I've had at an establishment in a very long time, they were soft and very flavorful. I ordered. Pancakes, eggs, bacon and Grits. When I got my grits as they came out last they had hair in it. That kind of messed up the whole meal. They took it off the bill but you have to pay attention when you are cooking and presenting food in a restaurant.

Our family’s favorite place for brunch and dinner. This is it. The Chicken with pancakes is my favorite for brunch and I have not changed my order in years. My husband loves the French toast. For dinner get the burgers its good and the fries are fresh. We love the chill relaxing vibes here. Definitely visit.

its been a while since ive ate at a spot that hit every mark on the food. I was able to enjoy their dinner menu with the fried calamari with chili sauce which was crispy, seasoned and served with their scotch bonnet hot sauce. The jerk roast pork bowl was delicious with tender pork and pickled carrots and onions (I wish there was more!!). And we finished with a brownie sundae and by the end of the meal I was stuffed and I had leftovers. I def want to come back to enjoy their brunch menu!!

First and foremost, the food here is amazing. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes with mixed berries. These pancakes were fluffy, buttery and had the perfect amount of sweetness. The berries and cream on top made it even better. I can rave on about these packages, so good. On the side I had 2 eggs scrambled with cheese and it was softly scrambled and just the right amount of salt. We had the homemade gingerade which was tasty and refreshing.
Now to the service…it was subpar. Our waiter never introduced himself. He came over and asked what we wanted to drink no greeting at all. We put in our order to drink and sat around for more than 10-15 minutes waiting to place our order. When he did come around the area he took the order of the table beside us who were seated 20 minutes after us. He did not ask if we were ready first. Some time passed and the table beside us got their food and the fired chicken smelled really good, so I called the waiter over to place an order. My friend also placed another order for the gingerade. Then, we got our meal and when I got to my last pancake I saw the waiter walking over to the table with the bill, but he then turned back. Almost 5 minutes had passed of finishing my pancake and the waiter swiftly came over to place the bill on the table and walk away. We wanted to use Apple Pay so he stopped to tell us go over to the bar to pay. When we looked at the bill it had an item called “open food” included in the total that was $8. We assumed it was the fired chicken we never got. I called him over and he said “I can remove it from your total.” There was no option of waiting for the chicken I had ordered 30 minutes ago, he just offered to take it off the bill. I was really disappointed because I did want to try it and I ended up just saying okay. He brought a new bill over we paid and left. The host was kind and did a great job checking in everyone
Atmosphere: today was one of the hotter days in Brooklyn, but the inside of the restaurant was extremely hot. Other costumers were fanning themselves or using a handheld fan as well. I noticed an overhead fan by the bar but none where costumer were sitting. As I continued to eat I became increasingly hot. I think it’s best to sit outside if you are heat intolerant

Such a great atmosphere and service! I had a simple breakfast and chai latte but next time I’ll try the fried chicken and home made hot sauce. I say out back and it was beautiful even with the rain.

Came here to try the broccoli ricotta sandwich and was not disappointed. At first bite it just seems like ricotta cheese and broccoli surrounded by a bun, but with each additional bite you discover new subtle flavors that merge together into something unique, something you’ve never tasted before. Highly recommend this one for anyone in the area.

The Lincoln Station is a wonderful neighborhood cafe located in Brooklyn, New York and one that has been open and proudly serving customers for over a decade. It offers guests a wide selection of freshly made cookies, cakes, delicious salads and sandwiches and beverages ranging from beer, coffee, soda, and wine.
In February of 2019, I brought and treated my wife and myself for dinner at the Lincoln Station and we loved our dining experience!!! We were warmly welcomed and treated very well by the restaurant’s staff and we enjoyed our meals. Both my wife and I found our sandwich meals to be well cooked, seasoned and delightfully delicious!!!
What guests will also love about the Lincoln Station is its location. The cafe is very close to many of Brooklyn’s prominent attractions, ranging from the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, the Brooklyn Museum and Prospect Park.
When visiting Brooklyn, my wife and I highly recommend that you visit and dine at the Lincoln Station!!! You’ll very much enjoy their service and menu options!!!

Pros:
- Friendly workers
- Sunny, variety of seating (high stools, semi booth, circle low tables, outdoor)
- laptop friendly (saw 2 people with one but not everyone)
- cute family friendly vibe
- people reading/eating solo on the bar tables
Food:
Got the Rotisserie chicken sandwich, which was almost $16 It was good, would be great if it came with fries (you have to order separate, if expect it included for that price) and or more leafy greens to balance the protein
Cons:
- Very narrow bathroom (wouldn’t fit a bigger person or wheelchair)
- pricy for what you get
- Crowded, might not be able to find seating especially on a wknd

This review is about sustainability only! 😌
I really love this coffee shop, as it is a warm and welcoming environment. But I was disheartened to see how much single use plastic was being used by patrons who were enjoying their meal at the shop, for here.
By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. Plastics are made from fossil fuels, and leach chemicals into humans, wildlife, and our ecosystems alike. Each one and the same.
Brooklyn is a waterfront city, and it is a shame that so many local establishments contribute to its local plastic pollution crisis, not to mention the global crisis at large.
I think it is wonderful that you indeed have real mugs that you offer, signage by the bins, and even compostable cutlery. But it seems like over half of your patrons, have no idea that they can order their meal to stay. And of course, just because utensils are compostable doesn’t mean they get composted, especially when there is no actual Compost receptacle. Off to the landfill!
Perhaps your barista’s could ask more explicitly, if customers will be enjoying their meal to stay. They could even say, would you like your coffee and a reusable mug to stay. You could even feature customers on social media who are enjoying their meal more sustainably..
Unfortunately, we are not going to see much on the policy front regarding the mitigation of plastic use and consumption. So it is up to our local vendors to help patrons do better by this planet.
Thank you for your consideration to put up more signage or ask your customers more explicitly what they want.

Overall the place wasn’t bad, I came for girls brunch and the food was edible. The flavors are there for sure, but my food was overcooked. The chicken was very dry but the cinnamon waffle was delicious enough to get over the dryness. Loved my waiter, he was a joy. My friend very much enjoyed her grits.
I tried to be generous with the atmosphere but the downstairs had no service, hated that.

A major shout out to whoever’s funk/disco mix that was.
Grilled shrimp and grits were a 3/5: rubbery and overcooked shrimp, but decent buttery grits. I did request a side of seasoning, but that’s really more a reflection of how much i love old bay than the dish itself if we’re really getting down to it
Cinnamon donut waffle was a 5/5: super sweet and exactly what it sounds like

Me and my best-friend stopped in on a Sunday and did not have a reservation, but they were kind enough to accommodate us. The wait time was roughly 15 minutes. Once we sat down we were greeted, and served water. We order the chicken and churro waffles and the veggie omelet with potatoes. The food was so good! I can’t wait to come back.

A good choice for a quick bite. Just 2 minutes walking distance from the Brooklyn museum. We stopped by after the museum visit, luckily got the table as seating is very limited. Good grilled pork Banh Mi and Vietnamese coffee. Efficient service.
Sangeeta Joshi - 3 weeks ago
Delicious banh mi at a great price. I had the classic sandwich, and it was packed and tasty. I will say that the medium spice level was mild, so when they ask what spice level you want, I'd go a level up. Also had a tasty hot Vietnamese coffee - solid, but not mind-blowing. Three small tables and three stools with counter service make it toght in there. There is brisk pick-up and delivery business. It felt like there was a mini-army behind the counter, cranking out the sandwiches and drinks, but each and every person was nice and friendly!

What a meal! After a bowl of my grilled pork pho, I was ready to go to bed! So filling and flavorful! The young lady that took my order was such a sweetheart! She was very attentive and welcoming. She really added to the restaurant's experience! My only con is a place like this deserves a bigger space, it's a small spot. Definitely will be back!

I had the tofu pho and vegetarian fish and let me tell you, it was delicious! You can taste all the flavors, the broth is delicious. The vegetarian fish flavor and texture is something else. Shoutout to the lemonade with lime! Really good! I’ll be back for sure!
Vegan options!
Edit: went back for the banh mi and the sandwiches were extremely disappointing.

One of my favorite places for comfort food. Mexican restaurants run by Chinese people are somewhat of a NY staple for an affordable, tasty take on Mexican cuisine. I gave it 3 stars for atmosphere which is how you know it’s authentic lol

This may be the restaurant I frequent the most. Their food is nothing fancy but wholesome and tasty. It can get a little too hot in the summer to eat in (or cold if particularly nasty out). The people are kind and caring, if I'm having a rough day and just hold up a couple of fingers they know my order and it's ready super fast. I'm often there twice a week.

A Mexican place run entirely by Asians.
Welcome to New York.
I had the chorizo burrito. The food inside was ok, the chorizo perhaps a little dry and the tomatoes were watery and flavorless.
What pissed me off was the lack of knowledge of how to wrap a burrito (see picture). I would love to watch a Millennial blogger from the Huffington Post lecture these people on cultural appropriation.
I paid $8.50 for the burrito and a 20oz coke. A decent price point for this area of BK given the proximity to the park, BK Museum, and income level of the local residents.
CASH ONLY - ATM Fee = $1.79

Greetings, yes, when first start buying the food from this restaurant. I would travel all the way from the Bronx, but. I've haven't been in a while. I was loving the Lo main and the vegan pepper stake. So, in a few months down the line, I returned back to buy the meal I really loved. But something is wrong with the food it lost its taste or flavor of the pepper and Lo mein. By adding cabbage and plantings to it, i guess it done work for me. It ifell off no gravy for the pepper stake at all a d the I bought the BBQ Ribs the sauce was too sweet and salty my taste. Lighting up on the sugar and salt 🧂cut back a little. I'm not sure if I will return because twice for me. To come back tasting food, I don't support unpleasant food. I will think about later on down Road if I make that trip again.

They serve all vegan food with healthy smoothies. We walked up from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, had lunch, and then headed to the Brooklyn Museum. The black bean burger and side of lasagna were tasty but salty. The dining room was spotless, as was the outside seating in the back.

Absolutely delicious new Chinese restaurant near Eastern Pkwy - Brooklyn Museum stop. A few of the best dishes to highlight:
Szechuan Roast Pork Stir Fry
-Sweet & smokey roast pork with a five spice and brown sugar blend is perfect for any meat lovers. Plus, the charred red peppers, onions and jalapeños are yummy!
House Special Peking Noodle
-Sweet dark soy sauce base with salted pork and ginger to be mixed with noodles. The balance of sweet and salty is perfect and the soy sauce egg was surprisingly delicious too.
Salmon Tuna Poke Bowl
-Big portion of fresh fish with mild Sriracha and kewpie mayonnaise. The kids really liked this one and finished the whole thing.
House Special Fried Rice
-Highly underrated! The roast pork again is amazing here, and the shrimp and fried eggs really support the fried rice.
The service here was quick and friendly. The ambiance is quiet and good for families and kids. They mostly do take-out and delivery and have some tables inside.

I did a carry out order and was pleasantly surprised. This place is newer so I thought I would give them a try. Im happy to say they had some of the better Chinese American takeout in this area of crown heights/prospect heights which tend to be subpar. If you want actually decent Chinese American this place hits the spot. Haven’t tried their other Asian dishes like sushi or poke yet but if it’s as decent as their Chinese food it must be worth it to try. Prices are a little higher than other comparable restaurants but the quality/flavor seems better and portions are reasonable in my opinion. This review is totally based on the food. Did not experience the full service or atmosphere of the restaurant.

Called in to order some delivery and food came hot in 25 minutes! Had the orange chicken, lo mein, and pork buns! (I have also tried sesame chicken, beef and broccoli, soup dumplings, and scallion pancakes in the past!). The food is fresh, flavorful, and delicious!! Each order also comes with a free soda and a fortune cookie :) Classic Chinese takeout prices but with higher quality ingredients! It is definitely our new go to Chinese delivery!

Because it was only about a two minute ride away and also had good reviews, we stopped by Crown Garden for a late Sunday afternoon lunch after visiting the Brooklyn museum.
Although predominately a takeout/delivery restaurant, there are a few tables at which to eat and the dining area and bathroom were very clean and a step above the dining areas you often find at small Chinese restaurants.
We were greeted by two friendly women who when we remarked that the dish we wanted, cold sesame noodles, was not on the menu said no problem, we can make it for you! So we ordered the noodles and sesame chicken. Portions are generous and our food tasted fresh and flavorful. By the way, they use white meat for their chicken dishes and offer both dim sum and sushi as well as the standard Chinese takeout dishes.
Prices are very reasonable. Two thumbs up for Crown Garden!
