5 Star Rating Don’t be intimidated if there’s a line, there is a lot more seating than there appears to be. You should be in after 10-15 minutes tops. That being said, I ended up getting the Danish pancakes, I was expecting it to be a little cheesier, but I would liken it to a blueberry tart in pancake form. It was really good, I also got a strawberry milkshake which was good too. I would recommend splitting with someone if possible as they give a lot more food than you think you will get. I saw most people around me leave food on the plate, I know that is a good problem to have.

5 Star Rating Disclaimer: This is my personal experience. If something doesn’t go as expected, I always believe in giving the restaurant a chance to make it right. Most places will, and Tom’s definitely did. I stopped in craving something specific — an open-faced beef sandwich — even though it wasn’t on the menu. I asked, and they made it happen without hesitation. The beef was tender, layered over toast, and smothered in rich brown gravy. Total comfort food. Nothing fancy, just honest flavor that hit the spot. It’s the kind of old-school hospitality that makes you feel like more than just another customer. Major appreciation to the team for saying yes when they didn’t have to. Sometimes the best dishes are the ones made off-menu with a little heart.

5 Star Rating I love every time I eat at Tom’s. The staff is incredibly efficient and the food exactly satisfies the “classic diner” craving. We arrived around 2:30 on the Sunday, were sat at a table in 15 minutes, and our food came our way a little more than 7 minutes after we ordered !!! My favorite place to meet old friends for a substantial meal 🤌🏼

5 Star Rating Weird the line is not as long as it used to be. It was about Saturday around 11am and the wait is 20 minutes for a table of four. Food is delicious as usual. I had the Mexican omelette and definitely get the fries. They have the best fries in America to be honest. We got pancake, egg Benedict and something else. Coffee is like a good old diner coffee in the familiar cup. Service can’t be better. The waiter is full of energy and love the smile. We got our order fast and correct. He gave us extra sauce and refill on coffee. It’s very tight spot and I would just have one person wait inside until the table is ready.

5 Star Rating Might’ve found my new breakfast/ brunch spot and I will be back for dinner to confirm that this is my new spot all around. My food was delicious and my wife was pleased with her meal as well. The drinks were great as well. It was small inside but not too cramped. I like the homey feel. Our server, Sage, was amazing. Really attentive and explained a lot about the restaurant and how they cook their food. I took his suggestion on my meal and was very happy. I will definitely be back and refer this place to everyone who’ll listen!

2 Star Rating Saw the reviews and thought to give this place a try. I honestly felt the food was underwhelming. Two of us ordered the pancakes with fried chicken and my vegetarian friend ordered a side of eggs, potatoes and pancakes. All of the food was severely under seasoned, all of us were adding lots of salt and pepper on everything. The fried chicken wasn’t crispy but it was juicy and I felt it was a good portion size, one nicely sized boneless piece of chicken for each pancake. The creme that came with the pancake was very tasty as was the mustard syrup. The pancakes were fluffy. Two if us had the house cocktail rum punch, which I felt was on the weaker side, overpriced at 14 dollars. Would’ve tried another drink had they come to our table and ask before we all were fully done with our meals. The service was okay. Friendly as we entered and were seated but they don’t check on you after the food is delivered. Food came fast which was nice, the restaurant overall was pretty empty. Outdoor and indoor seating available as well as a patio I believe.

5 Star Rating The Lincoln Station is a wonderful neighborhood cafe located in Brooklyn, New York and one that has been open and proudly serving customers for over a decade. It offers guests a wide selection of freshly made cookies, cakes, delicious salads and sandwiches and beverages ranging from beer, coffee, soda, and wine. In February of 2019, I brought and treated my wife and myself for dinner at the Lincoln Station and we loved our dining experience!!! We were warmly welcomed and treated very well by the restaurant’s staff and we enjoyed our meals. Both my wife and I found our sandwich meals to be well cooked, seasoned and delightfully delicious!!! What guests will also love about the Lincoln Station is its location. The cafe is very close to many of Brooklyn’s prominent attractions, ranging from the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, the Brooklyn Museum and Prospect Park. When visiting Brooklyn, my wife and I highly recommend that you visit and dine at the Lincoln Station!!! You’ll very much enjoy their service and menu options!!!

5 Star Rating Just a walk away from the Brooklyn museum and upon arrival we’re able to get a seat downstairs which resembled like an underground speakeasy! The items on the menu were fairly affordable. I got the big breakfast; very filling and eggs with cheese scrambled. Also tried the chicken fingers which was very tasty and seasoned. There is a service charge towards the bill so for two people we payed a lil less than $90. Great service, and music playing in the background. They did have a wide range of options but I’m basic so stick to what I like and it did not disappoint.

3 Star Rating Overall the place wasn’t bad, I came for girls brunch and the food was edible. The flavors are there for sure, but my food was overcooked. The chicken was very dry but the cinnamon waffle was delicious enough to get over the dryness. Loved my waiter, he was a joy. My friend very much enjoyed her grits. I tried to be generous with the atmosphere but the downstairs had no service, hated that.

4 Star Rating I am a native SF Bay Area woman with specific needs - and Banh Mi Place hits. Over the last 4+ years, I consistently enjoy the classic and braised beef as well as a grilled pork sparingly. Their summer rolls are filling and the peanut sauce is close to perfect. I don’t often order pho from here, however I will pick up a side of broth almost every time I order. Staff is attentive, communicative, and sweet.

5 Star Rating Delicious banh mi at a great price. I had the classic sandwich, and it was packed and tasty. I will say that the medium spice level was mild, so when they ask what spice level you want, I'd go a level up. Also had a tasty hot Vietnamese coffee - solid, but not mind-blowing. Three small tables and three stools with counter service make it toght in there. There is brisk pick-up and delivery business. It felt like there was a mini-army behind the counter, cranking out the sandwiches and drinks, but each and every person was nice and friendly!

5 Star Rating Absolutely delicious new Chinese restaurant near Eastern Pkwy - Brooklyn Museum stop. A few of the best dishes to highlight: Szechuan Roast Pork Stir Fry -Sweet & smokey roast pork with a five spice and brown sugar blend is perfect for any meat lovers. Plus, the charred red peppers, onions and jalapeños are yummy! House Special Peking Noodle -Sweet dark soy sauce base with salted pork and ginger to be mixed with noodles. The balance of sweet and salty is perfect and the soy sauce egg was surprisingly delicious too. Salmon Tuna Poke Bowl -Big portion of fresh fish with mild Sriracha and kewpie mayonnaise. The kids really liked this one and finished the whole thing. House Special Fried Rice -Highly underrated! The roast pork again is amazing here, and the shrimp and fried eggs really support the fried rice. The service here was quick and friendly. The ambiance is quiet and good for families and kids. 5 Star Rating Because it was only about a two minute ride away and also had good reviews, we stopped by Crown Garden for a late Sunday afternoon lunch after visiting the Brooklyn museum. Although predominately a takeout/delivery restaurant, there are a few tables at which to eat and the dining area and bathroom were very clean and a step above the dining areas you often find at small Chinese restaurants. We were greeted by two friendly women who when we remarked that the dish we wanted, cold sesame noodles, was not on the menu said no problem, we can make it for you! So we ordered the noodles and sesame chicken. Portions are generous and our food tasted fresh and flavorful. By the way, they use white meat for their chicken dishes and offer both dim sum and sushi as well as the standard Chinese takeout dishes. Prices are very reasonable. Two thumbs up for Crown Garden!

The mapo tofu I ordered was NOT the one I was so excited about when I first came here. It was incredibly bland and had zero meat. Worst mapo I have ever eaten bar none. Great chinese food. Peking noodles are great. Beef short rib is great. General Tso’s is perfectly crispy — not too hard or soft. Even the brown sugar boba was really good.

5 Star Rating I did a carry out order and was pleasantly surprised. This place is newer so I thought I would give them a try. Im happy to say they had some of the better Chinese American takeout in this area of crown heights/prospect heights which tend to be subpar. If you want actually decent Chinese American this place hits the spot. Haven’t tried their other Asian dishes like sushi or poke yet but if it’s as decent as their Chinese food it must be worth it to try. Prices are a little higher than other comparable restaurants but the quality/flavor seems better and portions are reasonable in my opinion. This review is totally based on the food. Did not experience the full service or atmosphere of the restaurant.

5 Star Rating We LOVED our dinner experience in their cutest backyard, super peaceful and memorable! We also really enjoyed the food, the butter was out of this world, the baguette was amazing, the eggplant sesame dip was delicious, the smoked date provolone farinata was insane, the Caesar salad was perfect, the cabbage dish was soooo mouthwatering and my favourite dish of all, followed by the bean purée and the crazily yummy sourdough bread next to it as rank two! I didn’t try the rib chops but my friends were dying for it loool The only thing I didn’t like (but the rest of tbh party did) was the trout crudo, for which I blame Theodora for shooting my expectations for crudos to the roof! Also I couldn’t get my head around the price for that little amount of harissa, which wasn’t even that special, neither were the fries (and this one, everyone else was on the same page as me) Oh and there was this empanada shaped dumpling bread dish that we loved but don’t recall the name. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and we will be back :)
