5 Star Rating What a wonderful meal and experience; a lovely modern dining room, attentive staff and meal. The tasting courses were perfect. They were sorting out their liquor license during our visit, but even if still the case, do not let that deter you. It almost did for me and I’m really happy that I didn’t change my plans. Will eagerly return!

5 Star Rating Every dish exceeded the previous dish. The savory food was so good, I found myself asking for more flavors despite being satiated by what was served to me. Pete Wells gave it 1 star knowing he was under rating the restaurant; I give it 5, knowing it is a sleeper hit waiting for the public to catch up. In a year people will be saying Pete Wells was crazy for giving it only 1 star.

5 Star Rating A neighborhood restaurant that sets some pretty high goals, and pretty much achieves them. Excellent service - and a larger waitstaff than you'd expect for a restaurant this size, pleasant, uncluttered vibe and food to write home about. It will be interesting to see what their wine pairings are when they begin servicing alcohol

5 Star Rating The experience was incredible. Toya and James helped make our time there amazing. The food was delicious with unexpected yet incredible flavor. Definitely going back many times.

Ethan Wieselthier - 1 month ago

5 Star Rating The trout was exceptional and the rest of the food was very good. Even dishes that used ingrediants I don't particularly like were done in such a way that I wanted to keep eating them. An unqualified recommendation.

5 Star Rating Cozy, clean, cool (but in a restrained kind of way.) Great service. The owner is a good duded. One of the best places in a neighborhood that already has quiet a few great restaurants. Don't miss the po'boy or dollar oysters. Go on a weeknight.

5 Star Rating Shane's is an awesome breakfast restaurant. The fish and grits are so tasty and their omelets are the best. I love watching their oldies soulful videos as I'm eating. This is my favorite breakfast and brunch place in Brooklyn!

5 Star Rating Man this is some good food! The king fish is really good! They also make their own ginger beer in house. I'm a huge fan of ginger beer. I'll tell you this one is very very strong (gingery) but still very good.

5 Star Rating I tried this place for the first time on Saturday night (9/22) at about 8:30pm. I ordered Oxtail and Jerk Chicken. The Jerk Chicken was juicy, spicy, and delicious! I also asked for jerk sauce on the side, and the attendant graciously filled a few small containers of the sauce. The Oxtail was tender, a little sweet, and very delicious! This will be my preferred spot for Jamaican takeout.

5 Star Rating A very cozy place to have a breakfast in Brooklyn. The staff is so good with the customer service that you will feel well attended and tentative..... definitely worth a visit for at the least for a cup of coffee. It was raining in Brooklyn and this place saved my morning. I would definitely come back. Just so you know u can’t just walk in as this place is so good it’s a good 20- 30 min

Nancy Designs - 2 months ago

4 Star Rating The crispy fried chicken sandwich was delicious. The french fries were amazing. The biggest spoil was the seating and a big curtain closure to block the cold air that we had to sit near. Plus a entry way doormat everyone kept tripping over it was old curled and needed to be remove and replaced with a very new one. But as always the food never disappoint me and the atmosphere otherwise was great. I love Cheryl Global Soul the food is delicious.

5 Star Rating This is one of the best restaurant i tried in NYC. I love this place! The owner and his staff are super super nice, there's a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the mornings. The food is divine! The place is small but cozy, especially in autumn and winter. Coffe is super good! I visit it every time i have a chance to go to NYC

5 Star Rating Tom's has the best home cooked breakfast/brunch I've ever had. This family owned business is Brooklyn's best hidden secrets. Be prepared to wait on line since this is a very popular spot for brunch on weekends. It's worth the wait. You won't be disappointed.

Spencer Casseus - 1 month ago

5 Star Rating Tom's is cash only so be prepared. The lines can be a little long to get in but the food is well worth the wait. They will offer you an orange slice as you wait in line to be seated and the oranges are fresh and juicy. I had the classic diner breakfast two pancakes, bacon and scrambled eggs. The food was great.

Robert Moran - 1 month ago

2 Star Rating So disappointed. Had heard such good things but the actual experience was so far off. The "fresh strawberries" were moldy, pancakes were fine but not great. Bacon was awful, hard to imagine how that even happens. Potatoes were undercooked and cold. Waited 15 minutes to get coffee, then another 5 for cream and never got a refill. I love diner food but this was such a bummer. The fries they served us in line were delicious, but not worth the wait.

4 Star Rating I haven’t been able to stop thinking about the faux chicken Bahn Mi! This place has great portions, prices, and quality. It’s only a couple blocks walk from The Brooklyn Museum, so a great place to have lunch when you’re visiting. My daughter also had a pork platter, which got high marks from her. The Bun bowl was excellent, tasty spring rolls as well. I can’t wait to go back!

5 Star Rating I love Ogliastro! Their pizza is great (chewy, thin crust) and they also have delicious salads and drink options. It’s a cozy vibe in the main part of the restaurant and they also have a back “porch” that’s heated and a beautiful garden for the warmer months. It has a friendly, neighborhood feel and the staff is warm and service fast. Highly recommend!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

4 Star Rating Very very good pizza. They have a ton of options and a nice wine selection. The arugula pizza was one of my favorites. The marinated olives come in a very generous portion.
