Went there yesterday for dinner and don’t regret it. The service was good and welcoming. The server and the others were friendly. The food was delicious and warm. After a few bites I was too stuffed probably from breakfast and could not finish my meal. Each dishes were good size too. They packed my food to go in a well sealed bag. I enjoyed my time and would recommend the place 10/10.

We were the only dine in customers. They brought us water immediately. The appetizers were excellent, though I feel the staff is not good at explaining the dishes. The Lamb saagwala is good. I wanted to try new things, so the only known thing I ordered was garlic naan. I can't handle hot spicy food, so I deliberately asked before choosing my food choices.

I normally order delivery from this spot but I went there for the first time to eat at the restaurant. Everything was yummy per usual. The interior is cozy, intimate, and the music was very relaxing.

The decore, the warm ambiance, the wonderful host/server… The Food… OMG the food was amazing! So tasty and wonderful! Some of the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten and I was a front end manager of an Indian Restaurant in my past! Pearl truly is an excellent Indian restaurant! If you are visiting or live in Crown Heights, this is definitely worth the stop!!

My wife and I happened to stumble into this spot right before the J Cole Barclays concert. Man, Incredible ambiance and overall vibe in this hidden gem. There’s so much more than what initially meets the eye when you first enter. This spot has a vibe for everyone, multiple indoor, bars, outdoor, cozy, sexy & intimate and such. Very grateful of the vibe and Hope the bartender is extraordinary as ever in her food and drink suggestions. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a vibe! Oh and they have trivia night and music as well so it’s lit!

First time in last night and had an incredible experience. Yesterday we moved to the neighborhood and after a long day of moving, just needed some classic bar food, cold beer, and good vibes. This was the perfect spot for all of those things in more. Our server Ryan was incredibly kind and provided seriously some of the best service I have ever experienced at any kind of establishment. I absolutely love this place! From the moment I visited, I had a great experience and couldn’t stop thinking about coming back. Their cranberry lemonade is amazing and easily one of the highlights. It is refreshing, flavorful, and the perfect drink to enjoy with a meal. The food service is also excellent—the young man who usually brings out the food is always friendly, positive, and seems to genuinely enjoy helping customers. His great attitude makes the experience even better. The waitstaff is wonderful as well. Everyone is kind, welcoming, and attentive, which creates a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. The customer service really stands out and makes you feel appreciated as a guest. The truffle fries are absolutely incredible and definitely worth trying. They are packed with flavor and easily became one of my favorite items on the menu. Honestly, this place is so good that I’m already planning another visit. After thinking about the food again, I’m getting hungry just writing this! I can’t wait to come back and enjoy another great meal.

One of my favorite places in all of Brooklyn. Vibe is always great, tons of space for large groups (the outdoor area is such a vibe in the summer and fall). Food is always tasty and reasonably priced. Staff is always friendly and diverse. DJs on the weekend too. What more could you ask for?!

Good friends of mine have been recommending Chavela’s for a while, so I was glad I finally had the opportunity to try it — and it definitely lived up to the hype. I was honestly surprised by how busy it was for a Sunday night, but that only added to the energy. The vibe inside is great: dim, cozy atmosphere with really comfortable booths that make you want to stay awhile. The food and service were both wonderful from start to finish. We started with the nachos and guacamole. I’ve never had nachos served in a disc shape before — they were excellent and really unique, though I’d be lying if I said I didn’t still slightly prefer traditional nachos. The margaritas were awesome and paired perfectly with the meal. For my entrée, I had the carnitas dish, which was absolutely out of this world. It came with tacos, refried beans, and salsa, and every part of the plate was packed with flavor. We also tried the carnitas taco, shrimp quesadilla and the steak and shrimp fajitas — everything we had was incredible. I’ll definitely be back. And if you go, I’d also recommend stopping at Ample Hills Creamery across the street afterward for dessert.

8/10 times when I am deciding where to eat on Franklin Avenue, I pick Chavevla’s! I have been coming here for years. It is one of the most consistent restaurants on Franklin. Their service and food is always top notch. My favorite drink is the La Diabla, adding sugar on the rim. The margarita and sangria mixed drink is also really good. The Camarones al Ajillo is my favorite appetizer. The Sopa Azteca is really good. My favorite main dish is the fajitas Mixtas! Everything is good. Their holiday specials are always on point. I was here on Valentine’s Day and had amazing dishes. Make this a stop on your Franklin Avenue restaurant crawl!

The place has spectacular interiors and an insipid menu. The quessabirria was underwhelming. It was very mild and I had to look long and hard for the cheese part. The margarita was tiny and all ice cubes. The salsas were white people salsas. Delicious but no spice. The restaurant is GORGEOUS though. A beautiful mixture of Brooklyn and Mexico. Kitsch and antique. Mexican pastels and Brooklyn neutrals. Come for the decor! Bring your white friends.

I found this place on Google looking for a Mexican restaurant with vegetarian options with a high rating. I was excited that it was so close to The Brooklyn Botanic Garden. It was everything that I hoped for! We were greeted by very lovely and professional hosts that sat us immediately. I am sure we were just lucky with timing because it filled up quickly afterwards. The server was super awesome and knowledgeable about my dietary guidelines. The food was delicious and generous portions. Beautiful presentation as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I visited this place on a Friday afternoon. I arrived when it opened at 5 p.m. and didn’t leave until 10 p.m. The atmosphere was great, and the live DJ was exceptional. The drinks and food were also excellent. You can reserve your seating in advance. .

I have visited this place twice .the first time I walked in with a group of about 5 it was fairly early and no one approached us so we sat down at the booth. We waited about 10min when someone told us that the booth was reserved but we could stay for a while and eat. The food was good and we left. The second time was for a friend's birthday party. This was sort of a after party . I was the only man in a group of women and we ordered drinks and food . Not really my speed but if you want to dance on Franklin this is the place to be. But outside it's sometimes rowdy and the double parking is a issue. Recently there was a skirmish I never bothered to look back to see who were the participants but I know the crowd wasn't coming from the canary across the street. 95 south has been here a lot longer than the canary and I wish 95 only the best.

I absolutely love this place. Its my go to for good food, off the chain drinks and excellent food! I visited on a Sunday, and the wings, which I love were horrible! They were B wings that were broken and bruised. I was so disappointed as I had my family with me and I had been talking about the place so much that we left Harlem and took a Lyft back to bk for Catfish and Wings. Yeah, no! Wings! Not a good look! But as I said I love this place and will definitely return. Just not on Sunday!

Went here with some friends for brunch and was a bit disappointed. For starters upon arrival the restaurant looks closed for the outside , luckily one of the staff members were outside and invited me in. Upon entering, the restaurant is very spacious and clean.( I can easily see this as the perfect venue to throw an event) . I ended up getting there way ahead of my two friends and the bartender took pity on me and offered me a mimosa on the house, which tasted amazing. Once my friends arrived, we ordered a plethora of food ranging from chicken and waffles, steak and eggs, fish and grits along with a picture of mimosas. my friend seem to enjoy their food. However, I thought the food was a bit underwhelming (I had the chicken and waffles). please know this is personal preference and also know that I’ve brunched quite a bit, and this was very underwhelming to me simply on taste. My friends seem to have enjoyed their food and didn’t make any complaints. The service was great and not too long after my friends arrived, so did the DJ. Pros: Very nice vibey atmosphere, especially once the music is going. The staff are very nice and accommodating as they needed to be a few changes made to one of my friends order because she is vegetarian. Although I did not like my food, the portion sizes were really good, especially for the price and they have vegetarian options. CONS: when they have brunch, that is the only thing available to order which sucks because the brunch menu is very limited in comparison to their dinner menu. I do think I’ll return as I do think they’re done the menu is much more appealing to me. It seems like the night scene is where it’s at up in there lololol. So for now until next time as I’ll definitely be back..

I thought I came over to my family's house to have dinner the way the service was so homely. Even the customers who came in after us I thought were friends with the owner due to the comfortable conversation they were having. Amazing place to have something healthy to eat late in the evening. Intimate, warm, cozy, and full with love and gorgeous plants. Mix max colorful caribbean-style decorated spot. We were going to take it to go, but decided to stay and enjoy the lovely atmosphere. It's not a place for large groups, but a romantic date or hanging out with a couple of friends would be fitting. We can't wait to return and try other dishes on the menu.

Michael (the owner) is the NICEST. Lovely eclectic decor, lots of seating for a small place. Food was uniformly great: tender, moist, well-seasoned. The veggie jerk chicken was particularly awesome! Also, don’t miss the “Yes I” smoothie.

This cozy restaurant was like stopping by a family members house for a good home cooked meal. In this case sooooo good. We ordered the Ital Veggie Jerk Chicken and the Thai-Fi Stew. Absolutely delicious, seasoned well, and made with a whole lot of love. Then we ordered the carrot cake. It was so good that we ordered another piece and it was the last piece of cake. We will be back.

Got the marg and pepperoni slices to-go, they were pretty good! I think the margarita slice may have needed some more salt in the dough, but still nice and fresh with the tomatoes. Crust was nice and thick, some chew and crunch. The pepperoni slice was a step above, good chew, a little thinner dough, crisper bottom and nice crunch. I'm definitely coming back for the other slices.

Got the bolognese with linguine & it was $14 but look at the picture! It’s like 2-3 meals worth of food. Not only that but it tasted great. Comes with a little loaf of sesame French bread. Did a pick up order & the spot was busy but they were fast. Lots of pizza slice options & they looked yummy too. Will be back to try some of their other pastas & pizza!

First time I came here got like 4 specialty slices for about $6.50 each plus tax. Little bit expensive but nonetheless good today. I came in to get a regular pepperoni slice priced at $4.50 & this what it looked like. I expressed that I wasn’t happy with how this slice was looking & he told me they all look like that 🤦🏾

The pizza is excessively doughy and lacking in flavor. Also not enough sauce. Maybe we just came on an off night because some of the pizzas shown in other people's pictures look a lot better, but our experience was poor. We did take-out, but there is also limited inside seating.

Thanks to Joseph and the Joe & Sal team for catering this weekend's Women's Empowerment event at Grace Gathering Place. I tried the pizza recently and when my sister asked for a place to provide lunch, I immediately reached out to Joseph. I asked for some recommendations for about 20 people and he provided some ideas. I am SOOOO happy that I went with Joe and Sal's Pizza. They truly make their food with love and that is evident with each bite. Everyone could not stop talking about how good the food was. I ordered Margherita Pizza, Mixed Green Salad, Rigatoni w/ Pesto and Chicken Caprese Salad. For the vegetarian and dairy restriction, Joseph included some sautéed broccoli and a vegan marinara pizza. I'm a big boy (6'5, 320) and I have had my share of pizza. Joe and Sal's Pizza has rocketed to the top as one of my favorite pizza joints in NYC! While the food is great, I can't say enough about the incredible warmth and kindness of the owners. Customer service is top-notch. I HIGHLY recommend trying one of their 2 locations here in Brooklyn. Thank me later! ;-)

Since their change of their menu, it’s really changed. Their bagels have been inconsistent over the past 6-8 months. Some bagels are huge and soft, some are smaller and drier. It’s also the prices have changed dramatically and things like adding tomato, lettuce, onions are like $3.50 each. Would love if it was just more transparent. Historically, I have asked for split cream cheeses where one side has like veggie tofu, the other tofu scallion- one price. But today, they not only charged me an extra $3.50 but the person ringing me up did not let me know they were doing that now. I was surprised. It was too late to change it so it’s fine. But if you’re making these changes, the person taking your order should just say something real quick. My bagel came out quick. However, I ordered ice coffee and ended up waiting 10 mins and had to ask them to make it. They had like made 4 or 5 espresso drinks ahead of me so some wait time in between. Took 30 seconds. $16.50 for this, not really worth it. Where It’s changed a lot over the past few years and just sad that with the new changes: it’s just 😐

This bagel shop is fantastic. The bagels are fresh and flavorful, the bagel sandwiches are excellent, and the cream cheese is amazing. The smoothies are also very good. The line can be long at times, but it moves fairly fast. The quality makes it worth the wait and I would definitely recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

Two bagels with flavored cream cheese from the same order. I guess I could give 5 stars for a generous portion of cream cheese (maybe even too generous) or 1 star for barely a swipe - so we'll call it 2.5. For around $9 a bagel, you would at least expect some consistency, especially if the same person made them.

Went at 3pm on a weekday so it was pretty dead and easy to order. The menu is massive so I needed time to decide anyway lol. They have so many varieties of cream cheese, much less sandwich combos! For my gluten-free friends, they offer a plain and everything gf bagel. I ordered the everything gf bagel and it was delicious! Would definitely go back for another bite and to try another sandwich!

I stopped into this restaurant to get lunch and when I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into a small cute restaurant. I was sat and ordered with Sean. I had: Manhattan Old Fashioned Duck Roti Wraps Spicy Basil Fried Rice with Shrimp Misc Pho with Brisket Beef The food and drinks were great! I really enjoyed the Duck Roti Wraps the most! It was so flavorful especially with the sauce. All in all a really good experience!

Solid Thai spot right at the borderline of Crown Heights and Prospect Heights. Relatively spacious interior with a decorated front of the house and cozy back room. Extensive menu with plenty of noodle, rice, curry, and all other in-between Thai options! What we got: - Rock Shrimp (app): Perfect shareable dish between 2 people! The sauce is a bit sweet, but it goes well. Overall, tasty! - Duck Roti Wraps (app): Another great starter! | really liked the sweet sauce that was drizzled on the plate, yum! - Fried Rice with Crispy Pork (entree): Classic Thai dish that was very good! Prob my FAVE of the things we got! Slight spice, but very tolerable and it doesn't take away from the great flavor! - Pad Thai with Cod (entree): This one was a bit of a miss for me. The noodles were a bit sweeter than l'd like and I would've loved if they added egg and bean sprouts to the noodles to dress it up a bit more. My least favorite dish, but huge portion size! Overall, we enjoyed our time at Misc! Staff were friendly and very attentive as well. Next time I return, l'd love to sit at the front of the house for a brighter, livelier space!

Priced on higher side but then again it’s a pricier part of Brooklyn. Good portion size. Very cute environment they have a nice seating area in the back. Food came out quickly. I really hate places the enforce a %tip and this place does that. I guess they’ve gotten burned before but feel service can lack given the guaranteed %. Just roll it into food price if you’re going to do that. Empty plates and water refills could have been quicker given there weren’t so many diners at the time.

Three of us spent a few hours at the Botanical Gardens loving all the cherry blossoms. We were a little past prime but there were still lots of blossoms. Before we left home, we researched the restaurants in the area and made a reservation at MISC, a Thai restaurant. We arrived on time and got a table in the middle. The restaurant was full so glad we made a reservation. Plus they have a rather small dining area. We each ordered different dishes and shared. Overall, we thought each dish was well made and tasty. Service was pretty good even though the restaurant was very busy,

We had an early dinner here. I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken, my friend had the basil stir fry with tiger prawn. We also ordered the lychee mocktails and the sticky rice with mango dessert. Everything was delicious. They are very strict here with the rules though, on the menu it states that they don’t do any exchanges and that food items are final sale, meaning if you get something that you don’t like and return it, you still have to pay for it. The waiter, Sean, was really nice, but there was another guy that had blush on his nose, that was a bit rude and not patient when we asked about the menu. The place is decorated nicely and the ambiance is nice.

I absolutely love this Chinese restaurant! My go-to order is the General Tso's Chicken Lunch Special with either chicken or pork fried rice. The fried chicken is crispy, and the sauce has just the right balance of flavors. (They are not stingy with the sauce!) The chicken mixed into the rice is smoky and perfectly seasoned. I've been a loyal customer here for four years, and Happy Wok consistently provides delicious food with generous portions. Their lunch special even includes a choice of soda or soup, and the price is around $21.25 after tax for two lunch specials.
