This review is just a bit long overdue. March 21st, 2013, was the first and only time I visited this establishment before moving out of NYC. Today, my son and I worked on a salmon recipe a little out of the ordinary, and I was recounting to him and my wife that the last time I tried salmon this outside the box was at this restaurant. It was an unexpectedly pleasant surprise, and I always remember this salmon dish because it was like nothing I had ever tasted before, nor since. The ambiance of the restaurant was unique and cool from what I recall, and next time I’m in Manhattan, I hope to try it again. Regarding the timeliness of the review, I guess better late than never.

This is an old bank vault converted to a restaurant. The risotto was great. The duck was slightly over cooked, but still good. If you are in the financial district this is a great place to stop for a drink. The bar and drink prices were reasonable.

I’m really happy with my experience at Trinity Place! The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable about gluten-free options. They even have a separate gluten-free menu with a great variety of starters and main dishes. I had the tuna tartare and the salmon — both were absolutely delicious! They come with gluten-free bread, but can also be served with regular bread on the side for those who don’t need to eat gluten-free. For the main course, I had the duck risotto, which was spectacular. They also offer gluten-free drinks like beer. Everything was incredibly tasty, and best of all, my stomach felt great afterwards!

We went with 2 friends to enjoy Happy Hour at this place that is incredible for its history and preservation, the drink and food options for Happy Hour are very limited, the woman at the bar was very rude, not friendly at all, we ordered 2 cocktails and told her that later we would have beer to accompany the mini hamburgers and nachos with guacamole, this bartender served all the drinks together and uncorked all the beers, when we asked why she had uncorked them she was very rude responding that she didn't care if we hadn't finished and that it was a rule of the place, we had to cover the mouths of the bottles with a napkin so they wouldn't lose flavor, the male waiters and the other bartender were very friendly, I congratulate you guys for your excellent service.

My employer rented out the bar and restaurant for our annual holiday party, and it did not disappoint. First, the entrance is right across from Zucotti Park, which was lit most beautifully for the holidays. The entrance can be. Bit ticky to find but is about mid way down on Cedar by the park. The decor is definitely unusual, with large bank vault doors, a lot of dark woodwork, gleaming fixtures, and low lighting. We have a fixed menu that was spectacular. Unfortunately I don't know if the menu was comprised of fare that they normally serve or not but if our options were comparable to other offerings on the normal menu, then you'll definitely have a.spectacular meal waiting for you. Also, given that my employer was paying, I have no idea of the overall costs, but given the quality of the food, bar, and service, I would think that the prices would reflect that.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience since I've always wanted to check out this place after it reopened. The steak was definitely top quality, and the server was also very attentive. However, I don't think this place is exceptionally special. It’s just a nice and sophisticated place to enjoy the steak, but nothing too special. Also, the price of the steak is pretty expensive. It's a good place for special occasions. Honestly cesar salad was the only dish that I'd recommend lol and still Cesar salad was too expensive as well

The experience was truly amazing 👍The steak boasts a tender and rich flavor that I find incredibly satisfying. I favor it cooked medium-rare, and this restaurant nails it perfectly. It practically melts in my mouth! The appetizer options are also really impressive. The vibe of the restaurant is fantastic, and the service is top-notch. I will certainly return!🫶🏻💕

Great dinner at The Capital Grille — the steak was perfectly cooked and soft as butter, tuna tartare was full of flavor, sides and salads etc all fresh and tasty.
Great service too!

What says "I love you" more than going to a steakhouse with your person? I figured that this would be quickly booked for Valentine's Day so I booked a month or so in advance. We were seated in a lovely secluded booth and the service was amazing! Loved the atmosphere, ambiance and it wasn't noisy.
For starters we ordered the Tuna Tartar with avocado, mango, and sriracha, which was phenomenal! It really set the bar up there. It was the best tuna tartar I've ever had! For the entree's we had the Porcini-Rubbed bone in Ribeye with the 15 year aged Balsamic, and the Double cut Lamb Rib Chops with mint Gremolata and honey crusted, served with a white wine and shallots jus. We also enjoyed the Au Gratin potatoes and the Creamed Spinach. We also enjoyed the Mango Royale for the drink! It was lovely!
The Ribeye was great, I've never had a steak with a 15 year aged Balsamic, so we were curious ... A little over priced for my taste but, it's all about location. The Lamb was a little overdone for me personally, but otherwise I enjoyed the flavor. We loved the creamed spinach and the Au Gratin... Amazing! We finished off our meal with the Creme Brulee, including raspberries, black berries and blueberries.
Our servers really made us feel welcomed, took pictures of us and were very accommodating. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.
I would love to try them in a different location! I will definitely be back!

As a chain Steakhouse, Capital Grille continues to deliver more or less. Everything was AOK, very good service and good food at your atypical NYC steakhouse prices (not cheap). This was our first time at this location which has an old school classic feel, oak wood, high ceilings, laid back, etc.. We got your typical steakhouse fare, sides - fries, asparagus, lobster mac and steaks of course, lol. It was good though to be honest nothing to rave about.
The acoustics are not the best and where we were seated might as well have been sitting with the table next to us with how loud their conversation was; doubt they even realized it. Not sure why they felt the need to seat us right next to a full table when the section was practically empty. The Female staff and servers were all friendly, professional and more than efficient; really outstanding. No regrets on the visit, but doubt will visit again anytime soon.

My first time going it was great! I got the berry bowl as the worker recommended it to me. I was actually craving something with coconut but they said they didn’t have it so I asked what bowl they recommend. I liked it so i decided to come back and this time I got the Hawaiian bowl. I was really excited to try it, but I got disappointed. I saw them making it and they handed to me melted. I wasn’t going to mind it until I found big and froze pieces of the coconut blend. I couldn’t eat it. It was so hard that the plastic spoon was bending when I tried to break it down. I asked the worker if this was normal because it’s really hard I can’t eat it! The worker said they didn’t have more of the coconut blend so they wouldn’t have to remake me a new one, so they just took my bowl and try to blend it into the blender again but it was still melted but also had big frozen chunks. i didn’t know it was possible to make something melted but also frozen at the same time. I couldn’t eat it and had to throw it out. There were also not a lot of people in the store so I didn’t understand the rush the worker had. If you come here, don’t get anything with coconut unless you like to bite rock like pieces

The froyo is properly good!!! I love self serve frozen yogurt and this is a good spot. There’s taro, coconut, and chocolate sorbet were all awesome.
I HIGHLY recommend combining the taro with fruity pebbles. Surprisingly amazing.
There’s space to sit.
Not terrible prices, too. Very expected.

After a look through the menu a few weeks ago, I noticed they had a Strawberry Energizer fruit smoothie. It is advertized as containing strawberries, banana, yogurt, and "energy boost". I decided that that would be a perfect refreshment if I felt very tired after work. So the other day I finally went here after a very long day at work to revive myself with the Strawberry Energizer!
Unfortuntely, they didn't have any of the aforementioned "energy boost" left to add to the smoothie. Deeply disappointed, I opted for the Berry Banana smoothie instead, which has strawberries, blueberries, banana, and yogurt. It was alright, but it wasn't what I came for, and it did not refresh me the way I imagined a smoothie with "energy boost" would have. If I want a proper energizing pick-me-up from now on, I'll just get a coffee somewhere instead.

I don’t know why the froyo craze ever died down but they’re my favorite! My classic toppings are usually kiwi, almonds, dark chocolate chips. They didn’t have kiwi so replaced them with strawberry slices. First spoonful and it brought me back to the 2010s!
The lady in the store was nice and accommodating but she could’ve been just by herself tending to the store?
Anyway, I was enjoying my froyo in the street and a group of friends asked if it was good evidently with my reaction. Anyway, there were eight of them and they went to Red Mango to buy.
You’re welcome :)

Very good experience!! The froyo is self serve, meaning you get to choose how much froyo you want, put it in, choose toppings and decorate it completely how you want. Pricing is also based on weight which is pretty fair. There’s a good variety in toppings and syrups. I wish there were more yogurt flavors because, when I went, there was only vanilla bean, mango, dark chocolate, and Nutella. But I understand that it’s difficult to have a lot of yogurt machines. There’s also a lot of seating which is great.
I ordered mango and vanilla bean with white and milk chocolate chips, coconut, caramel, and a brownie.

The building itself is pretty nice, and the upstairs seating is well kept. However, this particular order was for breakfast, and it didn’t go well.
I think the language barrier might have been an issue because I specifically asked for unsweetened tea and received enough sugar to give my family tree diabetes. The patty was burned, and the ketchup—questionably unsanitary—was put directly on top of the fries.
The place wasn’t particularly busy, and the staff seemed content, which gave me a nice Washington Heights vibe. But based on this experience, it’s 2 stars at best.
Troy Gordon - 4 months ago
The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because the food was good. Fresh fries and nuggets. The store was incredibly dirty. People was sitting on the floor waiting for food. They only had 3 staff working and a line through the door. I felt bad for staff.

The burger was rich in flavour but the bread dry. The fries were good and crispy. Calories were uncountable. Good for a quick lunch.

Great Food, but Service Needs Improvement
The pub has a cozy atmosphere and serves excellent food. The quality of the dishes was impressive, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. However, the service left something to be desired. The waitstaff seemed more engaged with each other than with the guests, which made it difficult to get their attention. A bit more attentiveness would greatly enhance the experience. Overall, if you’re looking for great food and don’t mind a laid-back service style, this place is worth a visit.
Michael Preiss - 3 months ago
While exploring the area, I stumbled upon this bar and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was, with plenty of seating available. I really enjoyed the open and comfortable vibe. This is an English-style pub, so they offer a great selection of traditional English dishes and beers. We ordered nachos and calamari to share, and both were delicious with generous portions at reasonable prices.
However, one downside was the service. Our server wasn’t very polite. After we placed our order and asked to keep one of the menus, they tossed it onto the table without a word and walked away. Throughout our two-hour stay, the server’s attitude remained unfriendly, which made it feel like they were having a bad day. While the food and ambiance were great, the service could definitely use some improvement.

We had a private lunch for 60 ppl but ended up with 34 extra at the last minute and the kitchen and service was spectacular and was able to manage the extra guests. Mike was great with the IT and setting up the tvs to advertise our sponsors. Maire was running the show and I loved how she organized 2 buffets and the tables and atmosphere was very welcoming! The food is great too as always! Successful luncheon event!

We stumbled across this little foodcourt while walking back to our hotel room near the world trade center, and got soft korean tofu stew + brown rice for takeaway dinner. The meal was delicious, and the portion was huge and hearty, especially since it was raining outside the whole day. Not too spicy, well seasoned, and pretty balanced with tofu, beef, egg and veggies! The price was also quite reasonable, so nothing to complain there. Highly recommended!
The location also has other food variaties available — japanese, poke bowls, mexican etc, and can cater to most dietary restrictions and budget. There’s also plenty of seating areas! Good for groups to hang and have a quick meal.

I ate breakfast here when staying at the hotel and it was good. The food was cooked well for the most part, but the eggs were a little inconsistent day by day. Portion sizes are also on the smaller side. The selection is pretty standard as far as breakfast goes.

5 stars for the avocado toast. There was a good atmosphere and zero waiting time during breakfast hours.
Minus 1 for service unavailability and minus 1 for an invalid charge on another day.
We kept calling the restaurant for three hours, including multiple transfers from the hotel. As a result, a hotel staff member took our order.
We had a USD 100 credit applicable for dining and other on-property charges. After we left the country, an unknown transaction appeared on the card bill. We sent emails and contacted the card company (there has never been any direct email for the hotel available), but we have never received a response.

I went here once over 10 yrs ago for a networking event. So it felt nostalgic to go again. My friend ordered the steak, medium rare and it was cooked exactly as ordered. I ordered the Caccio de Pepe and it was absolutely amazing. I added more grated Parmesan because I’m an addict, but it would be great as is for most people. I rarely eat pasta, so this was a wonderful indulgence. We also had wine and martini’s (dirty/twist) they have a great wine list, except for the house rose, in my opinion, much too sweet for my dry preference taste buds. We also ordered the tiramisu which I thought was perfect. Hint of coffee, perfectly was ladyfingers, light and fluffy, so good. If you get this for the review, we came here after going to the Turkish bathhouse on the corner of Fulton and Gould Street, which I will also review.

Service on F,S,S was amazing-Actually popped in because the barista over the past couple of days was awesome. This morning, Monday, the one barista making coffee was more interested in sharing her texts with another barista- it's Monday, 830am people and mobile orders piled up and they had higher priorities. I usually only share great reviews and never complain about NYC but this was ridiculous, especially for a week day when people are obviously in a hurry.

I stopped by O'Hara's for a quick drink on a Saturday afternoon. It was around 12 PM and it was already pretty busy.
Fortunately I found a seat at the bar, and immediately felt at home. The staff here are very warm and friendly. The walls are filled with police and firefighter patches, along with tons of 9/11 decor. This isn't surprising since O'Hara's is literally next to ground zero.
I'll definitely return and try the food. It looks delicious!

Dropped in around midday for some food and drink after spending some time around lower manhattan and ground zero. Plenty of space, family friendly, simple food that all in the party will eat. Service was efficient and courteous.
Lots of firefighter / emergency services patches and memorabilia here with it being next door to ground zero and the firefighter memorial wall.
Overall an ideal place for a quick snack and a pint for you and the family when mooching about in NY.

The O'Hara's is not just an Irish pub, it is an institution that served as the HQ for man forces that came here to help in the aftermath of the 9/11 event.
Here you will find lots of memorabilia as lots of Fire men, policemen, army force, etc brigades from all around the world send their badges.
The place is literally covered from floor to ceiling in memorabilia.
This is well worth a visit and the food was also really good. We would definitely come back here if in the region.
