4 Star Rating A huge, beautiful space. Good simple food. I would stick to beer and wine and forgo the cocktails next time. Portion sizes were very large. My clams had sand in them. The mignonette for the oysters was a bit overpowering. Overall, glad we tried this classic spot.

2 Star Rating I like how I tend to follow establishments drawing noise on social but tend to get underwhelming results. The same thing happened here, at the famous oyster bar at the grand central terminal. It turns out it is but a rumour and just the mere fact that it's an intended visit at the reputable terminal. Other than that, it's basically like any other communal eatery. Filling she-crab soup but not exceptionally good. The New England chowder ran out that night so that must be really good. The grilled sea bream special was also the same, filling but not exceptional. What's interesting is the menus are dated but the freshness is questionable, at least for the sea bream I had. Despite that, I've only really tasted a fingernail off of their entire, massive menu (see attached photo). Staff service was at bare minimum. "Professional" niceness is too obvious, nothing wrong but not impressive. They do not correct customer's mistake and just assume to take heed for preference like I said to choose the supposed white wine to my fish but mumbled out a red. I can actually return it but why bother.

5 Star Rating Fantastic vibe, fresh oysters, and classy dirty martinis! My husband and I loved it here. The servers explained everything from a to z about the oysters we got and the rest of the menu. Cheesecake and oyster stew were also great 🦪

4 Star Rating The overall atmosphere is bustling and noisy due to the large crowd, but it’s a great restaurant to enjoy a variety of oysters at reasonable prices. The only drawbacks are the lack of a good wine list and the other dishes that don't match the quality of the oysters. However, it's definitely worth visiting at least once, especially for the delicious Belon Wild oysters. 🦪🍷

3 Star Rating An incredible architecture & design within Grand Central Station, The Oyster Bar is to bee seen. Part of its history, it unfortunately lacks a sense of welcoming its clientele. The waiters are rude except at the Food bar. Our pleasure is diminished to spend time and money when and where you don’t feel welcome. Could develop but not worth it.

3 Star Rating The location is prime with plenty of seats. I heard a lot of good things about this place, however, my experience wasn’t great. The service was super slow and forgetful. They brought us breakfast menu and then we realized there is also a brunch menu and asked for it. It took forever until the brunch menu showed up. we were there around noon. I don’t know why they didn’t bring the brunch menu in the first place, I also asked for the lunch menu which never showed up on the table. I asked for the steak to be medium rare however, it came well done. I’ll give it another try next time since everybody talk good but as of now it’s 2.5 out of five for me by the way they also made mistake with our drinks. My bloody Mary went to my friend and her tomato juice came to me.

5 Star Rating 1- Food = 4.5 /5. Very good. Prime Ocean Platter and Bacon were both well prepared and of good quality. Dry Aged Porterhouse which was on the special menu was definitely prime steak but lacked the dry aged flavor that I’m accustomed too. Steak was still very good and I’d order it again. All 3 sides were tasty and sharable. Martinis 🍸 were good. Almost forgot about the very good fresh bread and soft butter they serve while you wait for your food.😋😋. 2- Service = 5/5. Excellent cerebrating our anniversary we were greeted with happy anniversary as soon as we checked in. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, but not pushy and always smiling. 😊. Thanks Sara. They actually took an amazing Photo of myself and my wife in which they handed to us in a happy anniversary card which we both loved and appreciated. 3- Ambiance = 5/5. Excellent. Classy modern design. 4- Reservations = 5/5 Excellent. Booked with OpenTable the day of. 5- Value = 5/5. Food was excellent as expected given this is a high end Steakhouse, but the service and the staff were extra special. We would definitely recommend and will 100% return.

5 Star Rating I felt the need to share the excellence of Morton’s Steakhouse. Matt, our server was invaluable— his professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail were beyond expectation. The food was a journey of on its own as my eyes almost popped out as I embraced the notes and layers of flavors that danced in synchronous notes like a performance at an orchestra! I will definitely love to visit again! I had the scallops wrapped in bacon and the dry-aged steak for main course.

5 Star Rating I have nothing but overwhelmingly positive and remarkable things to say about this Morton’s location. My server Hayday was very attentive to crumb and clear my table after each course. The meatballs came out warm and generously garnished. With the shrimp appetizer, the shrimp were ginormous and came with a very crunchy and almost spicy bread. Outside of the photo was the bread which came out perfectly hot and crispy. The restaurant itself is smaller than I expected, making the setting intimate. I did not feel rushed by staff despite being the last diner while the restaurant was closed. All around the board I left highly satisfied. It is evident the staff run a good show here!

5 Star Rating I often grab lunch here and haven't yet tried their dinner, but I gotta say, this place nails it during lunchtime. The vibe is just right and the service is top-notch. Their burgers are a must-try, especially with those crispy fries. And don't even get me started on their Morton steak sauce - it's the bomb on a burger. Pro tip: ask for caramelized onions on top; it's a game changer. Heads up, their medium burgers are more on the medium-well side, so if you're a medium fan, go for medium-rare. Trust me, it's worth it!

4 Star Rating An exclusive club in Midtown Manhattan across the street from Grand Central Station for Yale alumni and faculty. I was honored to attend a networking event hosted by my High School in the Trumbull room. It was a nice event with great ambiance, but I was disappointed with the hors d'oeuvres. They seemed like quick easy to make items with little to no effort.

4 Star Rating Fantastic steakhouse! The appetizers were mouth-watering, and the steaks were juicy! However, while the steaks were juicier, I felt that they were more bloody/raw than Benjamin Steakhouse Prime. This is somewhat understandable as Benjamin Prime primarily focuses on the grill, while Benjamin Steakhouse focuses on everything equally. If you want thick, juicy steaks, then come on in. If you want the steaks to be more focused on tenderness, then check out Benjamin Prime. What I really enjoy is the atmosphere. The lighting is not too bright nor too dim. Also, while there are several patrons in business-casual clothing, it is not too many that makes you feel out of place. If you have any questions about the menu, definitely ask your waiter/waitress as ours was extremely helpful!

5 Star Rating The Benjamin Steakhouse is OUTSTANDING! Cool vibe entering the venue. Staff friendly and very informative. The menu is extensive and expensive. The appetizers were well seasoned and absolutely delicious 😋. The main course dishes were superb. Steaks and the salmon were perfectly cooked. This was by far the best grilled salmon I have ever had. The lamb chops were AWESOME! Their desserts, if you have any room, will leave you completely satisfied and prepared for your bill!! Worth every penny!

5 Star Rating If you are looking for the ultimate steakhouse experience in New York, look no further than Benjamin’s. This place has it all: a cozy and elegant ambiance, a professional and attentive staff, and most importantly, a superb selection of prime USDA meat, dry aged to perfection. I visited the Times Square location with my husband for our anniversary and we were blown away by the quality and flavor of the food. We started with the jumbo shrimp cocktail, which was fresh and succulent, and the cold crab meat appetizer, which was generous and delicious. For the main course, we shared the porterhouse steak for two, which was cooked exactly to our liking and served sizzling on a hot plate. The meat was tender, juicy, and melt-in-your-mouth good. The sides were also excellent, especially the creamed spinach and the mashed potatoes. For dessert, we had the NY cheesecake, which was creamy and decadent. The portions were huge, so we ended up taking some leftovers home. The service was impeccable, from the hostess who greeted us warmly, to the waiter who was friendly and knowledgeable, to the manager who checked on us several times. The prices were reasonable for the amount and quality of food, and the wine list was extensive and impressive. Benjamin’s is not just a restaurant, it’s a destination. It is hands down the best steakhouse in the city, and I can’t wait to go back. I would give it 5 out of 5 stars.

5 Star Rating 240417 Wonderful steak experience. Top notch dishes. Friendly and professional service. Lovely bread basket with delightful soft salted butter. It’s hard to save space for the meat! The Benjamin Salad is healthy and refreshing, with lots of crab meat and apple. I like how it doesn’t have too much greasy or heavy dressing but maybe a little more vinegar will work better here. Baked clams are lovely too. Plump clam meat covered in creamy sauce, without being overpowered. Hot plates before steak. Legit. NY Sirloin bone in. The crust is insane. 🔥 Every crispy without being burnt. Beautifully buttery, fragrant, yet not greasy at all. Crunchy to the last bite!! The center is gorgeously pink, tender, and juicy. Perfectly medium. Surf and Turf is of great value, filet mignon (allegedly of the same quality as above) and plump pieces of lobster, shrimp, and crab leg. The sauce is tasty and not too heavy. I even enjoyed dipping my bread in it. Asparagus side is also wonderful. Robust, fresh, tender, perfectly steamed. Pity that we didn’t have any more space for dessert (esp cheesecake). 🫄Maybe next time! NYC is competitive with many traps as well, but this place still exceeds my expectation, guaranteed delicious. The space is bustling and can be quite loud/crowded/not intimate enough. For us it’s alright, elevated old school decoration without being pretentious. Thank you Edmond and the chefs in the kitchen for making our day
