This restaurant impressed us with its huge size and extensive menu. Excellent selection of oysters and seafood - everything was fresh and delicious. Service was outstanding, and prices were very reasonable. The place was packed even on a weekday, which says it all. An unexpectedly great experience for a station restaurant. Highly recommended.

I have been wanting to try this place for years and I finally made it. We just happened to come on a Thursday which is the only day they offer a happy hour special. Well worth it waiting till Thursday if you just want to check it out have a few items and enjoy the historic location. We have oysters clams and new England clam chowder. The soup was really good just the perfect balance of clams, taste and thickness of the soup. Calamari was also fresh, tender and included a nice red sauce for dipping. And of course the little neck clams and bluepoint oysters were amazing especially at $1.25 and $1.55/ea respectively. If you want the happy hour special you have to eat at the saloon bar in the back or the lounge area. Probably have to ask for the happy hour menu as they do not tell or offer it to you by choice.

Grand Central Oyster Bar & Restaurant This place is a true New York classic. You can feel the history as soon as you walk in. The raw oysters here are incredible, so fresh and full of flavor. The Oysters Rockefeller are rich and delicious, and the New England clam chowder is everything you want it to be, creamy, comforting, and loaded with clams. My server Mary was that girl. Fast, friendly, and really knows her stuff. She took the time to explain the different oysters and helped me pick exactly what I’d like best. You can tell she cares about giving you a great experience. If you’re in Grand Central and craving amazing seafood, this is the spot.

Can’t believe I lived in New York for almost my whole life went never went here, I surely missed out. We have a lot of similar places in Vegas but for this one feels a little different in a good way. The location is great, the atmosphere is fantastic and the the staff were all extremely attentive. I absolute loved my fried oyster po boy, and the squid risotto (which i forgot to photo) was just the right texture and that a dish you can mess up the texture in all sorts of ways 🤣. I would go back if I were in New York especially for the lunch specials. It’s not the most amazing seafood place but it’s extremely solid with fresh ingredients, and the ambience really pushes it over the edge, I have to give it 5 stars.

Glad that we can have this restaurant just right next to the hotel we are staying at. Food quality is good and match its price. Service is excellent. They have a wide variety of raw oyster choices and they are very knowledgeable and willing to answer your questions before taking your order. Vibe is warm and casual.

My first time at Pershing Square and I was not disappointed! I ordered the fettuccine pasta with vegetables in a pesto sauce for lunch and it was amazing. The portion was generous and I ate the whole thing! Food baby! The service was great. As a matter fact, we had several servers and they were all very polite, friendly. Decent prices too. My entreé was $22. The only thing I didn’t care for was how loud it was! Overall, I highly recommend Pershing Square for a business lunch, out with friends, maybe not a first date if you want to talk and get to know each other.

Great place to eat and visit grand central station opposite. Food was not cheap but then neither was the quality of the food and service - so we felt it was worth the money and experience. Lovely cozy and old world feel but very busy and fairly noisy. We manage to time it right with a visit around 830 as it was starting to fill up by the time we left. I would recommend and visit again should we get the opportunity to visit NYC again.

Long-time breakfast/brunch spot that I never miss. The blueberry pancakes are just delicious! I also had the Eggs Benedict and hubs had a waffle with bacon and eggs. We both found the food prepared with care. Service was friendly and responsive to any special requests. Nice location when you're near Grand Central Station. Have been here many times and always look forward to going back.

Stopped at Pershing Square for dinner and had a NY Strip with mashed potatoes and a glass of Riesling. The steak was cooked perfectly and topped with a rich red wine sauce. The mashed potatoes were creamy and just right. The staff was attentive and quick, and they made sure to check in to see if everything was to my liking, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere was great, intimate, moody, and not too loud.

Beautiful space and great service. I’ve been here for breakfast several times because I often have morning meetings nearby. Today came for lunch with my wife and we had vegetarian chili, avocado salad, and creamed spinach to split. The chili was frankly awful. Just a lot of canned tomatoes and overcooked onions with chili powder. The salad and spinach were great. The service was wonderful as always and the space is beautiful. So, while this is not in my top 100 best restaurants in NYC, I do recommend it—especially for breakfast.

It has become a little tradition for me — every time I’m in the USA, I have to visit Morton’s for their amazing shrimp! The food never disappoints — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and always fresh. The steak and sides were also excellent, but the shrimp is always my personal favorite. The service is top-notch, as always. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made me feel genuinely welcomed. The atmosphere is classic and elegant, yet still relaxed — perfect for both a nice dinner or a special occasion. Morton’s truly delivers consistent quality and an unforgettable dining experience every single time. Highly recommend it if you love great food, excellent service, and that timeless steakhouse charm.

Absolutely fantastic place! Great for anniversaries. The fillet mignon was tender. The mashed potatoes were excellent (get them loaded!!). I would skip the creamed spinach, it’s just average. The free bead is amazing but the bottom is hard and it makes it difficult to cut apart. Byron was absolutely amazing. He was detailed and thorough and made our night spectacular.

I eat here frequently. The service is top tier. The food is exquisite. I try to frequent atleast once a month since I work in the Financial District and it's on my way home. The ambiance is elegant and classy. There is literally nothing negative, I could possibly say about this establishment. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. I highly recommend for any occasion of importance or if you want to treat yourself. Oh and don't forget The Onion Loaf, *chef's kiss*. 10/10

Went for our anniversary and they couldn't have made us more welcome. Decorated our table and all the staff made a real fuss of us. Food was excellent with plenty of choices. Watch out for the side dishes as they are pretty large so might only need one between two people.

Spend so much time here that I think I’ve tried everything on the menu - especially love their calamari, tuna tartare and duck! Gym is always crowded around rush hour but is mostly empty during the day and on weekends. Rooftop has great seating with views in the summer and tap room is great for getting work done in the winter. Largest club of all the university clubs in NYC and has by far the best interior designs.

This is the first time I had the opportunity to experience The Yale Club and enjoy a nice lunch there. It had a renaissance style interior design and a beautiful view of the city. The food was delicious specially the cheese cake. I would highly recommend anyone that have the opportunity to go and experience it.

The dress code may seem strict but I walked through the lobby with a sweater over my tank top and a skirt and none of the employees said anything! You are not allowed to use your computer in the lounge but you are in the bar room.

I had an enjoyable evening. Service was impeccable. Atmosphere was nice, lighting was a little too dark. I enjoyed the oysters and shrimp cocktails as a starter. It’s nice you can order by piece. Caesar salad was fine, maybe too many hard end pieces of lettuce. The filet was cooked to order, slightly over seasoned but it was enjoyable. Cocktails were well made. Will go again the future.

came to this restaurant for dinner today, and I felt so much happiness in so many ways—from the food to the service. The food was absolutely delicious, and every staff member was so kind. I truly felt like I experienced perfect service tonight. I don’t think I’ll ever forget this evening. I’m leaving with only happy memories, and I can honestly say this is the best steakhouse I’ve visited in New York! In particular, I’ll never forget the kindness and service of our server Marlin and manager John. There are many great steakhouses in New York, but this one is my strongest recommendation. You absolutely won’t regret coming here!❤️❤️❤️

We had dinner at this restaurant for the first time during US Open (NYC restaurant week). The place was very busy, very dimmed light and tables were close to each others. We liked the bread basket. We tried fried calamari and buffalo mozzarella entrees. The fried calamari looked to be fried in old oil and the calamari itself is small. The mozzarella is good. The main course USDA prime dry-aged NY sirloin was perfectly cooked medium rare as requested and meat was tender. the portion of steak was very generous and we couldn't even finished. We also had grilled salmon (no picture here) and it was very good. The sides, mashed potato was basic and home fries was not really what we expected, ordinary. The desserts, which we took home, cheesecake was great but chocolate mousse was not as good. Overall, the steak is definitely the specialty here and we'd definitely come back for it but the rest is average.

Unforgettable Steak Experience at Benjamin Steakhouse! Last December, my best friend and I visited New York, and one morning we woke up with an intense craving for steak. By pure luck, we found ourselves at Benjamin Steakhouse, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the wonderful manager John Martinaj. Even though it was breakfast time, he kindly offered us the steak menu. We decided on the rib-eye, not realizing it’s nearly 1 kg per person. To our surprise, we devoured every bite. It was that incredibly delicious. The cheesecake was also amazing! Months have passed, yet we still talk about that meal and the experience with huge smiles. This review is long overdue because moments like this deserve to be remembered and shared. A heartfelt thank you to John for making our day so special and giving us a taste of happiness we’ll never forget. We can’t wait to come back on our next trip to New York!

We absolutely love The Capital Grille in New York! The food is always exceptional, perfectly cooked, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere and vibe are just wonderful — elegant yet warm, making it a great spot for both special occasions and family dinners. We often go with our son and always have a fantastic time. The only thing that would make the experience even better is if they had a changing table for babies. It can be a bit difficult to change him there. Other than that small issue, everything about our visits has been amazing. We’ll definitely keep coming back. It is one of our favorite restaurants in the city!

An absolutely exceptional dining experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, my girlfriend and I felt genuinely welcomed and well cared for. We were celebrating her birthday, and it was clear that the staff had been informed in advance — a thoughtful touch that made the evening even more special. While the food easily earned a five-star rating, the service we received from Corey exceeded all expectations — truly deserving of ten stars. Corey was outstanding. He remained fully engaged throughout our meal, sharing thoughtful conversation and personal stories, and demonstrating genuine enthusiasm for what he does. He was, without a doubt, the highlight of our visit. As for the food — if I have one complaint, it’s that the flavors were simply too good to resist. Each course was expertly crafted and left us eager to see how the next would possibly surpass the last. Some reviews mention the pricing, but in our experience, the quality of both the cuisine and the service more than justifies the cost. If you're fortunate enough to be served by Corey, your visit will be nothing short of unforgettable. Massi He Asked Me Where’s Your Guest? I Told Him That She Couldn’t Make It. He Immediately Told Me Don’t Worry About It! I Got You Beautiful! It’s Your Day It Doesn’t Matter That Your Guest Isn’t Here! I’m Going To Take Care Of You! I Got You! Is Something That He Repeated To Me Throughout The Evening. I’ve Never Felt So Taken Care Of In A Restaurant Before! That Was All Due To Massi! He Brought Me Champagne As Soon As I Sat Down. He Was Very Attentive, Thoughtful, Caring And Professional. My husband and I make it a tradition to visit this restaurant every year, and this time was extra special—our first visit as a married couple. As always, the experience was amazing, and a big part of that was thanks to our wonderful waitress, Britney. She was warm, welcoming, and made everything feel so comfortable from the moment we sat down. Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor really elevated the night. The food never disappoints. The crab cake is hands-down our favorite—perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. We also can’t get enough of the creamed spinach and the lobster mac and cheese; they’re rich, flavorful, and always hit the spot. This restaurant continues to be one of our most cherished spots, and we already can’t wait to come back next year. Hopefully, we’ll get lucky and have Britney again!

Nice secret bar in Grand Central area. I just have few hours meeting up friend who works near by so it is not a lot of bar around because the area is mostly office. It took me walking 2-3 rounds to find this place but when I got in it was very crowded. No space to sit at that time so my friend and I just stand at the bar. Looks like lot of people don't want to go back home right after work so they just come to hang out here. Drink is good, confirm by my friend who is martini lover :) So I recommended.

So the menu is more interesting than the food and surprisingly the sushi (crispy salmon roll) was the standout. Nice touch serving salted edamame w drinks. The wine list is ok, tho I'd steer clear of the craft cocktails..too sweet. Nice service, very loud until the after work crowd dissipated a bit.

Solid bar. Basically a bar that is connected to Bobby Van's. Very convenient location right next to Grand Central. Decent draught list and solid cocktails with the prices you would expect for the location (not cheap) . Service was exceptional. We were a large group there during happy hour and all of our drink orders were fulfills in under 3 minutes.

I had the Classic Bec, and if you love bacon you must try it! They have honey on the sauce in napkins and ketchup session, and I added honey to my bagel, just perfect! And they have gluten free bagels and vegan salmon, as my friend had it and loved it!

OK. Old person here. Manhattan resident in the '70's through '90's. Not that long ago. I found my recent experience just meh. Two bagels with salmon and a coffee were $40. OK, with a schmear would'a been $6 or so. Portion barely acceptable, overall quality OK, value fakakta. Young ones, this is the world YOU live in now. Don't like it? Stop spending.

Needed a break from walking and a snack while visiting NYC. Large selection on the buffet, tea, coffee,etc. Exceptional cleanliness in bathroom and seating area. Ask for code for bathroom upstairs at register. They were incredibly pleasant.

We had a great team lunch at Pera Mediterranean Brasserie—terrific staff, a welcoming ambiance, and definitely a spot worth considering for events or business meals. Here’s how our meal went: Starters • Grilled octopus: Cooked well and crisp at the edges, but I felt it could have used more seasoning to truly stand out. • Hummus: Creamy, smooth, and flavorful—a strong start that I enjoyed. Main Course • Beef shishlik: Tender and well executed in terms of cooking technique; however, it lacked a bit of seasoning punch. A delightful spot for lunch and impressive ambiance. Cocktail No. 5 is now absolute favorite. The soujouk were the undeniable best way to start a meal but the lamb adana on top of the watermelon heirloom tomato salad stole the show. Easily top 5 lamb preparations I’ve ever had. Welcoming and higher tier staff. Beautiful open kitchen. Finely curated spot that is definitely worth a visit.

We visited this place for a happy hour nightcap, and it was absolutely beautiful! You could actually hear yourself think and the person next to you! Their happy hour offers a drink with some appetizers, but I believe they should have a separate happy hour with just drinks, as you’d otherwise have to order from the regular menu. Regardless, I’ll definitely be returning to try their food! Their wine was incredible!

I had a phenomenal experience at Pera! The ambience was incredible—soft lighting, pleasant music that was at the perfect low volume so that we could all hear each other clearly, and a beautiful interior. The service was fast, yet at the same time we never felt rushed and that was super nice. The staff was super friendly and professional. And best of all, the food was immaculate! We got the trio dip and calamari to start, both of which disappeared instantly, and I got the chicken as my main, which blew me away with its depth of flavor despite being a very simple dish. Perfect portion sizes too—not too much, not too little. Everyone in my group was praising their food, and we all left full and completely satisfied. Thank you to the lovely staff at Pera, I will definitely be coming back soon!

Food are amazing. Adana kebab is the best in town, definitely. But tables are so close each other and We literally couldn't hear each other at the table. We asked them to change our table, but they were not interested. They have no raki BTW.
