5 Star Rating A very interesting place in the ground or underground level of Grand Central Station. Tried to go for cocktails at another place, but it was full. Oysters were great, went with chefs choice. Many to select from. Had a listing of cocktail options but we went with a general Negroni. Service was just OK. But would recommend, really cool looking place.

5 Star Rating Dinner? Reserve a table in the “Saloon” room. Love oysters but don’t know the difference between east and west coast shells? Order the chef’s medley. The servers are extremely knowledgeable- you’ll learn about bumpy and flat edge oysters. Hadn’t been here in a while and can’t recall exactly why I don’t come here more often. This place is not just for commuters. Beer on tap, freshest sea food, great service and an apres work buzz that is quintessential NY. Don’t yell at me please but I had the eggs Benedict over smoked salmon on English muffin🤤….for dinner, yum. Key lime pie is legendary. Next visit, lobster roll. Enjoy

4 Star Rating This place is a NY institution — I haven’t been back in about 15 years and I swear nothing has changed! From the lunch counter, to the menu, the waiters, the Saloon and those crazy leather mitt chairs near the bathroom. I love the fact that when you come here you are immediately transported back in time.

2 Star Rating I’m leaving this in real time because yeah… so to start the waiter was absolutely lovely 1 star but that doesn’t make up for the lack the food was. His oyster selection for the table was solid. So 1 star the other food was okay or nothing to write home about. The lobster roll is the saddest thing I’ve ever had in my life: the bread was good but what they called a pound of meat for nearly a $40 roll was lack there of. I’ve had better rolls in the city. The muscles, don’t even bother. It taste like they were cooked in water with a hint of wine and whatever pinches of seasoning. It took all of my will power to not send food back out of respect for my family visiting us. This was the most over priced disappointing experience. Stick to the New England clam chowder. The food has seriously gone downhill. Also the fact that we asked if we can sub onion rings for fries being a big deal is pretty sad and instead he brought us what is considered a side of onion rings for $10 🥴 this whole situation deserves this emoji 🥴🥴🥴 Kicking myself for not taking a picture of the sad lobster roll. But here we are. Good luck.

3 Star Rating The location is prime with plenty of seats. I heard a lot of good things about this place, however, my experience wasn’t great. The service was super slow and forgetful. They brought us breakfast menu and then we realized there is also a brunch menu and asked for it. It took forever until the brunch menu showed up. we were there around noon. I don’t know why they didn’t bring the brunch menu in the first place, I also asked for the lunch menu which never showed up on the table. I asked for the steak to be medium rare however, it came well done. I’ll give it another try next time since everybody talk good but as of now it’s 2.5 out of five for me by the way they also made mistake with our drinks. My bloody Mary went to my friend and her tomato juice came to me.

5 Star Rating I often grab lunch here and haven't yet tried their dinner, but I gotta say, this place nails it during lunchtime. The vibe is just right and the service is top-notch. Their burgers are a must-try, especially with those crispy fries. And don't even get me started on their Morton steak sauce - it's the bomb on a burger. Pro tip: ask for caramelized onions on top; it's a game changer. Heads up, their medium burgers are more on the medium-well side, so if you're a medium fan, go for medium-rare. Trust me, it's worth it!

5 Star Rating The Wife and I did our annual trip to NYC to check out the tree and all of the Christmas festivities the city has to offer. This year we wanted to try Morton’s. We first were given bread which was served with plenty of butter to go along with it. Next was our entrees, we wanted to save room for a number of sides so we held off on any appetizers. We enjoyed the 8oz Filet, the 16oz NY Strip complimented with bacon wrapped scallops, the creamed spinach, brussel sprouts and smoked Gouda & bacon Au gratin potatoes. The steaks were delish especially when doused with the truffle butter. The creamed spinach was incredible and so were the Brussels sprouts. I thought the potatoes were okay, but I was happy to give them a try. To finish off the meal we enjoyed a few coffees and a crème brûlée to share. It may have lasted 2 minutes. Very delicious. Our waiter was incredible and made the dining experience wonderful. Glad we stopped in and look forward to go back in the future!

5 Star Rating I visited Morton's The Steakhouse while in New York City. Two dear friends treated myself and another dear friend to dinner for our birthdays! The atmosphere was warm and inviting! The ambience was calm and soothing! Our waiter was good! I would have said great but he gave more attention to the table of folks that was spending more money. That's understandable! I'm sure he received a huge tip that night. I just think everyone should get the same service regardless of the money they spend. Morton's presented my birthday friend and me with an individual sized cheesecake with strawberries on top and lemon curd on the bottom. It had a lit candle in the middle! After blowing that out, and diving in, we immediately tasted the deliciousness of that dessert. Then they hand wrote us a nice card with a picture of all of us at the table. That was a genuine, heartfelt touch. Thank you Morton's for your excellent customer service!

5 Star Rating If you are looking for the ultimate steakhouse experience in New York, look no further than Benjamin’s. This place has it all: a cozy and elegant ambiance, a professional and attentive staff, and most importantly, a superb selection of prime USDA meat, dry aged to perfection. I visited the Times Square location with my husband for our anniversary and we were blown away by the quality and flavor of the food. We started with the jumbo shrimp cocktail, which was fresh and succulent, and the cold crab meat appetizer, which was generous and delicious. For the main course, we shared the porterhouse steak for two, which was cooked exactly to our liking and served sizzling on a hot plate. The meat was tender, juicy, and melt-in-your-mouth good. The sides were also excellent, especially the creamed spinach and the mashed potatoes. For dessert, we had the NY cheesecake, which was creamy and decadent. The portions were huge, so we ended up taking some leftovers home. The service was impeccable, from the hostess who greeted us warmly, to the waiter who was friendly and knowledgeable, to the manager who checked on us several times. The prices were reasonable for the amount and quality of food, and the wine list was extensive and impressive. Benjamin’s is not just a restaurant, it’s a destination. It is hands down the best steakhouse in the city, and I can’t wait to go back. I would give it 5 out of 5 stars.

3 Star Rating Came on a Friday night. It was the last Friday during restaurant week so was packed with people trying to take advantage of the sweet deal like ourselves. The tables were tightly lined up than usual and the server was rushing every dish. He brought the bill and dessert at the same time and as we were trying to have our first bites, he came back to see if we were ready to pay. I recommend going on a weekday or the first weekend if you want to try out restaurant week. The sirloin was great but smaller than normal.

3 Star Rating Ambiance (2/5): the establishment has a bar area to wait or dine. It is darkly lit with high ceilings, loud background noise. It's great for a fancy date night but was hard to converse with the noise. the tables are really tightly nested together. Be careful exiting your seat as the staff bustle around. Service (3/5): I felt like our waiter was not friendly, curt when we had requests, and felt like we were getting made fun of between the staff (in another language). They were speedy in getting us what we needed. Food (3/5): I've had better at other  steakhouses. I was greatly disappointed that I had to send my steak back. For the most part, the dishes were just okay. I'm glad I only spent a flat rate because anything more than what I paid would have been a letdown. We visited during restaurant week for $60 for their 3-course meal. The calamari was lightly battered, generous portions, and tasty! I ordered the ribeye for an extra $25. I asked for the steak medium-rare and it was incredibly rare! I ended up sending it back to the kitchen and it was *not* overcooked and instead cooked perfectly to my liking. I wish that the dry rub/seasoning was a bit more pronounced as I did not want to use their steak sauce which tasted like a shrimp cocktail sauce. The home fries were indeed cooked per my request of well-done with bits with a crunch. It was nicely seasoned, onion-forward and provided a nice side to the meal. For dessert, I had the cheesecake but the chocolate mousse is definitely the right move— it has a crunchy crust made of Oreo crumbles a top light but rich chocolate mousse.

5 Star Rating This is a nice place to eat. They called to confirm my reservation the day before. The staff were very warm and welcoming from start to finish. The lovely ladies at the front desk checked our coats. In regards to this, I highly recommend wearing a sweater because it can get chilly for some when you are seated in the back near the windows. Brian was our server. He was very attentive to us. The bread selection was versatile and good. To start, I had the roasted beet and goat cheese salad with crushed pistachios and citrus vinaigrette along with the creamed spinach, shrimp cocktail and seared tenderloin with butter poached lobster tails. My mom had the lobster mac n cheese. I really enjoyed the salad, shrimp cocktail and surf n turf combo. The lobster mac n cheese was okay, but I will say that there are other places that can cook this a little better though. My take on it is that it was a little dry and needed more seasoning. All in all, good food and great service. I hope they reopen the one in FiDi so I can eat there again soon.

5 Star Rating The Capital Grille is a world renowned upscale fine dining restaurant that offers guests first class service and top quality dishes ranging from steaks, lamb chops, chicken and salmon based meals. In February of 2024, I brought and treated myself and my wife for dinner at Capital Grill, specifically the branch based at the Chrysler Center, to celebrate our Happy Six Year Anniversary!!! We’d like to thank Capital Grill for making our anniversary truly special, and one in which we’ll forever cherish. We were warmly welcomed by the restaurant’s staff and were quickly provided with a very comfortable table. Throughout the evening, the staff graciously acknowledged and wished us a wonderful anniversary and thanked us for celebrating the occasion at Capital Grille. Our server, Corey O treated us with impeccable hospitality and made us feel very welcomed and right at home!!! He was kind, incredibly courteous, superbly addressed all of our inquiries and offered great insight and suggestions on the menu options. In addition to the great service, both my wife and I were impressed with Capital Grille’s elegant settings, especially the dark wood paneled interior, the tall glass windows, and the gorgeous art portraits spread throughout the restaurant. The playing of jazz music and classic hits sung by Billie Holiday & Louis Armstrong were also a great treat and enriched our romantic evening!!! Last, but certainly not least, my wife and I absolutely loved our meals. Everything from the appetizers to the entrees to our dessert was perfectly delicious!!! On a scale of 1 to 10, I would grade our meals a score of “ Infinity & Beyond.” My wife ordered and enjoyed her lamb chop based entree & her spinach side dish, while I ordered and loved my pan seared salmon based entree & my mash potato side dish. Our meals were superbly seasoned, tasty and wonderfully cooked. Our dessert, the Classic Crème Brûlée was simply off the charts and unquestionably delicious!!! We’d like to again thank Capital Grille for making our anniversary celebration truly special, and for providing us with an amazing dining experience!!! It definitely ranks among our favorite restaurants and we highly recommend for everyone to visit and dine at this outstanding steakhouse chain!!!

4 Star Rating Nice secret bar in Grand Central area. I just have few hours meeting up friend who works near by so it is not a lot of bar around because the area is mostly office. It took me walking 2-3 rounds to find this place but when I got in it was very crowded. No space to sit at that time so my friend and I just stand at the bar. Looks like lot of people don't want to go back home right after work so they just come to hang out here. Drink is good, confirm by my friend who is martini lover :) So I recommended.

5 Star Rating Forgot to bring lunch to the office today so what’s a girl to do? Check out the local eateries of which there are so many competing interests for your green backs 💰 I’ve had their bagels for breakfast but never lunch. Well they didn’t disappoint. First time trying Zucker’s tuna melt on a freshly made garlic bagel, topped off with Swiss cheese and I added a slice of beefsteak tomato. They put the “D” in Deelish on this one! Hand rolled, premium bagels, always fresh, always satisfying. The wait is never too long and the service is with a smile. They’ve made some renovations post COVID and have a wheelchair accessible entrance and dining now which is just awesome! Just shy of $13 bucks was over my lunch budget for some tuna but hey… a Girl’s gotta treat herself every now and then without feeling guilty about it. Like I could have bought 4 cans of tuna on sale for $13 bucks kinda guilt! How blessed are we? Cheers to the good life 🥂

2 Star Rating I'm really disappointed. I'm not sure if it was the staff in the back or what, but this place was a big letdown. A couple of people told me this place was amazing and it wasn't. The bagels were average, maybe even below average for NYC. The sandwiches were missing flavor. And the customer service is not there. One of the sandwiches I ordered was made wrong. I brought it back and politely explained the situation, and I got the meanest look. They made it on the wrong bagel, and when I got it back 10 minutes later, it was the old sandwiche on a new bagel. It was cold and and all messed up. Didn't bother eating it it seemed like they messed with it. Total waste of 70$

4 Star Rating Liked the food quite a bit, but the gluten free everything bagel was small and under seasoned. The texture of the GF bagel was actually really nice. Although it was a bit small, I did really enjoy the experience. I have attached pictures of my normal traditional, as well as my wife's gluten free traditional for comparison.

4 Star Rating Lovely place for breakfast in Madison Avenue! Their coffee is super delicious and always freshly brewed! I love the hazelnut coffee ☕️ as it always has amazing after taste. The place is great for families with children as there’re many options for different breakfast preferences! There is a station for freshly made sandwiches where you can get egg sandwiches A station for prepared hot food, fruits, vegetables, oatmeal and a juicing bar. If you are there don’t miss trying their peanut butter wraps!

5 Star Rating We came here when visiting NYC 5 years ago so made a special trip back there. Huge range of items to choose from and you pay by weight, great healthy options, very busy and seems to be popular with local workers. My photo is my mix of guacamole, fish, sesame chicken, cauliflower, broccoli

4 Star Rating This place is like a canteen. Nice, spacious, clean and neat and of course you need the vaccine card to stay in. They have many different kinds of food that you can choose Western and Asian as well. And I love the Smoothies Corner my favorites are Cucumber Protein (Juice) and Funky Monkey (Smothie). Their dumplings and shiumai are must try!

5 Star Rating Great service and food! My clients from Japan really enjoyed and impressed with the quality, presentation, and flavors of food. We had grilled Lamb special, Salmon, Greek salad with Chicken shashlik, also Spanish octopus as an appetizer. Perfect for business with convenient location. I'll definitely bring my other clients back there.
