My wife and I had oysters, recommended by the waiter, clam chowder and red snapper with rice. The oysters were excellent and so good. They seemed little smaller than I expected but oh boy they are good. “White” clam chowder was another beauty!! The red snapper was super. The service was excellent.

We didn’t expect much in the beginning but what we received from here was way beyond. We saw this from Jung Hae-in’s NY travel vlog and his reaction made us curious about this place. We’ve never had any oysters from their menu so we asked the staff to help. The staff were very helpful and kindly selected the oysters for us. We had total 20 oysters and found some favorite. If you’d like the salty-creamy balanced oysters, go with Kumamoto or Wellfleet.

Glad that we can have this restaurant just right next to the hotel we are staying at. Food quality is good and match its price. Service is excellent. They have a wide variety of raw oyster choices and they are very knowledgeable and willing to answer your questions before taking your order. Vibe is warm and casual.

I finally made it! And it was easy!! Walked in midweek and allowed to stake my place at any of the counter seats - and there are many. The oyster bar held my attention for a LONG time. The wall board is helpful. Organized by state and locale. The 28 year veteran server briskly and efficiently helped me discover new oyster varieties previously unavailable to this west coast native. I made room for superb scallops and the in-house Key Lime Pie. All the while my counter mates and the server enjoyed a repartee that helped make the experience personal and memorable.

My first time at Pershing Square and I was not disappointed! I ordered the fettuccine pasta with vegetables in a pesto sauce for lunch and it was amazing. The portion was generous and I ate the whole thing! Food baby! The service was great. As a matter fact, we had several servers and they were all very polite, friendly. Decent prices too. My entreé was $22. The only thing I didn’t care for was how loud it was! Overall, I highly recommend Pershing Square for a business lunch, out with friends, maybe not a first date if you want to talk and get to know each other.

The food and service were amazing. This restaurant never disappoints. This is a wonderful brunch spot in NYC that is just steps away from Grand Central Station. My 7 yr old daughter loves this spot! You can also grab lunch and dinner here, too. It works great for a quick lunch if you only have a little time in between meetings.

Beautiful space and great service. I’ve been here for breakfast several times because I often have morning meetings nearby. Today came for lunch with my wife and we had vegetarian chili, avocado salad, and creamed spinach to split. The chili was frankly awful. Just a lot of canned tomatoes and overcooked onions with chili powder. The salad and spinach were great. The service was wonderful as always and the space is beautiful. So, while this is not in my top 100 best restaurants in NYC, I do recommend it—especially for breakfast.

Good quality breakfast in the Grand Central area. The location is ideal for a business meeting or catching a good meal before or after traveling. I ordered the poached eggs with quinoa and lentils, and it was just the right healthy and filling meal I needed. The restaurant is pricier than most breakfast locations but it also offers a high class environment and service. I enjoyed my visit.

Spend so much time here that I think I’ve tried everything on the menu - especially love their calamari, tuna tartare and duck! Gym is always crowded around rush hour but is mostly empty during the day and on weekends. Rooftop has great seating with views in the summer and tap room is great for getting work done in the winter. Largest club of all the university clubs in NYC and has by far the best interior designs.

Been a member of the Yale Club for 30 years. Going there is like coming home as you know almost all the staff for a long long time. What’s better is they know you and it just makes it the most welcoming place. Over the years I’ve watched the dress code become more and more relaxed, which is helpful sometimes if you’re not wearing a suit or tie, but if you’re going there, please understand that, although they allow sneaker-like soles ,track sneakers, and sneakers like that and gym attire, etc. etc. are absolutely prohibited and collared shirts are a must and please check your coats and bags. Specially this time of year when it’s very busy and the lounge on the second floor gets crowded. And finally, it’s a very special place, so try and dress and act accordingly and you’ll have the best time!

Stayed two nights and had lunch on the roof. Rooms are clean, but a bit worn (isn’t everything in NYC). Staff are incredibly professional and prompt. Lunch on the roof was wonderful and the view was amazing. Great experience

This is the first time I had the opportunity to experience The Yale Club and enjoy a nice lunch there. It had a renaissance style interior design and a beautiful view of the city. The food was delicious specially the cheese cake. I would highly recommend anyone that have the opportunity to go and experience it.

This review is for the Tap Room. Service here is impeccable. We have been here for dinners and lunches. Every time we were treated with polite staff who are professionals and attentive. Unforgettable Steak Experience at Benjamin Steakhouse! Last December, my best friend and I visited New York, and one morning we woke up with an intense craving for steak. By pure luck, we found ourselves at Benjamin Steakhouse, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the wonderful manager John Martinaj. Even though it was breakfast time, he kindly offered us the steak menu. We decided on the rib-eye, not realizing it’s nearly 1 kg per person. To our surprise, we devoured every bite. It was that incredibly delicious. The cheesecake was also amazing! Months have passed, yet we still talk about that meal and the experience with huge smiles. This review is long overdue because moments like this deserve to be remembered and shared. A heartfelt thank you to John for making our day so special and giving us a taste of happiness we’ll never forget. We can’t wait to come back on our next trip to New York!

I had an incredible dining experience at this steakhouse! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and perfect for both a special night out or a relaxed dinner. Absolutely perfection. The ambience is really nice. And the food just superb. Service was excellent The crab cake was very delicious. And the porter house steak cooked to perfection. The lobster mac and cheese was good and it’s a huge portion. They have a very extensive wine selection. This a must visit for steak lovers. And of course the desserts are amazing as well.

An absolutely exceptional dining experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, my girlfriend and I felt genuinely welcomed and well cared for. We were celebrating her birthday, and it was clear that the staff had been informed in advance — a thoughtful touch that made the evening even more special. While the food easily earned a five-star rating, the service we received from Corey exceeded all expectations — truly deserving of ten stars. Corey was outstanding. He remained fully engaged throughout our meal, sharing thoughtful conversation and personal stories, and demonstrating genuine enthusiasm for what he does. He was, without a doubt, the highlight of our visit. As for the food — if I have one complaint, it’s that the flavors were simply too good to resist. Each course was expertly crafted and left us eager to see how the next would possibly surpass the last. Some reviews mention the pricing, but in our experience, the quality of both the cuisine and the service more than justifies the cost. If you're fortunate enough to be served by Corey, your visit will be nothing short of unforgettable. My husband and I make it a tradition to visit this restaurant every year, and this time was extra special—our first visit as a married couple. As always, the experience was amazing, and a big part of that was thanks to our wonderful waitress, Britney. She was warm, welcoming, and made everything feel so comfortable from the moment we sat down. Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor really elevated the night. The food never disappoints. The crab cake is hands-down our favorite—perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. We also can’t get enough of the creamed spinach and the lobster mac and cheese; they’re rich, flavorful, and always hit the spot. This restaurant continues to be one of our most cherished spots, and we already can’t wait to come back next year. Hopefully, we’ll get lucky and have Britney again!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and elegant—perfect for a special night out. The food was absolutely phenomenal, with every dish cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. What truly made our experience memorable, however, was our waiter, Emit. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Emit struck the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness—offering excellent recommendations, answering our questions with patience, and ensuring we were comfortable throughout the meal. His timing was impeccable, and he made us feel like valued guests without ever hovering. Nice secret bar in Grand Central area. I just have few hours meeting up friend who works near by so it is not a lot of bar around because the area is mostly office. It took me walking 2-3 rounds to find this place but when I got in it was very crowded. No space to sit at that time so my friend and I just stand at the bar. Looks like lot of people don't want to go back home right after work so they just come to hang out here. Drink is good, confirm by my friend who is martini lover :) So I recommended.

So the menu is more interesting than the food and surprisingly the sushi (crispy salmon roll) was the standout. Nice touch serving salted edamame w drinks. The wine list is ok, tho I'd steer clear of the craft cocktails..too sweet. Nice service, very loud until the after work crowd dissipated a bit.

Solid bar. Basically a bar that is connected to Bobby Van's. Very convenient location right next to Grand Central. Decent draught list and solid cocktails with the prices you would expect for the location (not cheap) . Service was exceptional. We were a large group there during happy hour and all of our drink orders were fulfills in under 3 minutes.

I had the Classic Bec, and if you love bacon you must try it! They have honey on the sauce in napkins and ketchup session, and I added honey to my bagel, just perfect! And they have gluten free bagels and vegan salmon, as my friend had it and loved it!

It's honestly not as good as I thought it would be. I was going on a hike with some friends early Saturday morning and needed a quick and filling bite beforehand. I got a salmon lox and egg everything bagel, but it was weirdly not that tasty and had barely any cream cheese. $15 for a bagel sandwich too! Even in this economy, it's a little overpriced. Granted it's right outside Grand Central, but still. It's fine if you're in a pinch, at least they got everything out fairly quickly.

The bagels were good and what you expected of a NYC bagel. I'm giving 4 stars for the Bagel and service but 3 stars for cleanliness. It wasn't clean, lots of crumbs all over the place. The table was sticky. Overall, will probably just stop by for a take out next time.

It’s a lively atmosphere, and you’ll be ready to tackle your day in no time! One suggestion: it would be even better if they offered sriracha sauce to spice things up! However, a minor criticism is the pricing; for instance, a small box of sushi costs $7.50 but has jumped to $9. A little adjustment there would make the experience even better!

Lovely place for breakfast in Madison Avenue! Their coffee is super delicious and always freshly brewed! I love the hazelnut coffee ☕️ as it always has amazing after taste. The place is great for families with children as there’re many options for different breakfast preferences! There is a station for freshly made sandwiches where you can get egg sandwiches A station for prepared hot food, fruits, vegetables, oatmeal and a juicing bar. If you are there don’t miss trying their peanut butter wraps!

We had made reservations for a table of 6 and this review is specifically for NYC Restaurant Week (2021). We got outside seating on a Friday evening for 6:30 pm on a relatively warm day. We arrived on time and were seated right away. The place was empty inside at that time and outdoor seating was slightly busy with 2 other tables occupied. We ordered a few cocktails and some beer on tap and it took longer for us to get our drinks to us, including repeat orders for beers, which our waitress forgot to put it. We ordered from the $39 per person NYC Restaurant Week menu, which included Assorted Dips Platter, Portuguese Calamari, Hand Rolled Grape Leaves, and a Maroul Salad. The Grape Leaves and Maroul Salad were absolutely delicious and were the best appetizers on the table. For mains, we got Lamb Adana, Organic Beef Burger, and Black Pepper Ricotta Gnocchi. We all cleaned out our plates, and I can confirm that the Gnocchi was absolutely filing and delicious! Our waitress was not attentive at all, but service other than that was absolutely top notch... so giving a 20% gratuity at end did suck a little bit! We might visit again for lunch or dinner!

Bobby Van’s is a solid after-work spot—perfect for drinks or dinner. The bartender was super attentive and made excellent cocktails. The food was all really good: the shrimp, steak, garlic mashed potatoes, and homemade chips hit the spot. For dessert, we had what I think was the chocolate mud cake—it tasted like a rich brownie sundae and was absolutely perfect for a sweet tooth.

Harry the manager/host was so friendly and welcoming. The bar was full. He offered a table for us to have drinks and appetizers. Now this is old school charm. We had a great time! Bobby Van’s is now our go-to spot for lunch, dinner and drinks. Thanks Harry! Food was great! The crab cake was a bit too fishy tasting.

This is just hands down and amazing restaurants great for lunch for big meetings everything cooked to perfection the staff is amazing. The decor they MUST renovate. Its not a place I would take a date or a client from out of town. They need to do some remodeling.
