This place is really loved by my kids. They really love birthday parties here. The staff is amazing at making a party simple for parents. On a different note: It is hard to understand how they pass health inspections, there is a really big Rat that hangs out with the kids and dances. I guess the rat doesn't do much in the kitchen? He is a good dancer, so maybe that's how? I think he works there.

We had a great birthday celebration for my 6 yo here.. The staff were fantastic (thank you Lou & others!) and super fun & kind. It was really sweet to share the space with other celebrants but we also had plenty of space! The kids loved the games & prizes & goodie bags and all went home tired and happy! A great value too.

We celebrated our kids’ birthday just a few days ago. Special shout out to Lou and Skyy (sorry, if I misspelled the name), but they were amazing. Skyy was there for us all the time, so friendly and helpful. Kids had a blast and I didn’t have to worry about anything. Space was spotless, I saw staff cleaning areas constantly. Loved everything! Customer service 100 stars!!!

Favorite German beer hall in the area! Good selection of beers and wine, fun atmosphere, great service and food! They have trivia night every Wednesday, board games to play, fussball table, big comfy loungey couches, communal tables etc. Fun bar! I also LOVE that they have vegan sausage option on their menu!! I’ll definitely go back next time I’m in the area!

Great atmosphere and menu. My partner is German and vouches for the authenticity. Not too crowded on a Sunday afternoon, relaxed, considerate and on the ball service, good variety of beers and sausages. Vegan options as well. Reasonable prices for NY, not exactly a steal but not marked up.

This was one of the few places still in Fort Greene after being away 9 years. I wasn't really into it. But the stand up comedy that I attended for was fantastic. I would definitely go back for that.

Stopped in for a bite before a game at Barclays. Service was slow with only one server who seemed to be covering all the tables. Beer orders came quick, ordered an appetizer that took about 30 minutes to get. We would’ve ordered entrees but server never came back to table to get order. Would go back for casual beers, but if you are looking for a quick spot for dinner (we had just under an hour, I’d go somewhere else.

Late night hunger pangs were deliciously satiated with finger lickin' tocos: eggplant al pastor (stuffed with cilantro, pinapple, guac, & homemade salsa roja) and grilled shrimp (stuffed with cilantro, guac, chipotle mayo, pico de gallo, & homemade salsa roja). Black means were passable but needed a shot of hot sauce for enhancement. Only gripe was the line which was not excessively long but moved pointlessly slow.

The food was ok, you place your own order. (Like a regular bar ). Spent $70on 4 regular tacos and 2 drinks. Hopefully this helps.

We had brunch here. I would give 2.5 stars. Why not anymore? The atmosphere was pleasant. But as soon as we sat down, it was noticeable how milky the glasses and cutlery were. It took quite a long time before we could order. We had poached eggs (eggs in purgatory) and a brisket sandwich. After a very, very long wait, the plates arrived. The poached eggs were so hard I had to give them back. On the second attempt, at least one egg was still liquid. The meat in the sandwich was super dry. Think if the brisket was pulled and topped with a good sauce, the sandwich would be perfect. The drinks were good. In my opinion, there are better quality brunch places in Brooklyn.

We showed up here on a Monday with no reservations expecting no wait. Instead there was a crowd at the front waiting for a table. We learnt that reservations can be made for indoor seating only and outdoor is first come first served. We had an artichoke falafel dish for appetizer which I wasn’t too crazy about. Our entrees were delicious - Branzino and lamb dishes were authentic tasting and flavorful. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Will be back.

Really delicious Mediterranean food in a lovely setting. I just have to start by saying they need another server! Two waiters for a whole restaurant is crazy We ordered the feta-labneh dip, the goat cheese croquettes, the artichoke hearts, and the Greek paella. Definitely recommend the feta-labneh dip and the goat cheese croquettes!

I felt the $13 maroulosalata and $10 tzatziki dip were slightly on the small side portion wise. Nevertheless I liked the dip with pita and endive -- the salad slightly less so. Giving 4 ⭐ for food and overall since I ordered delivery. On that note, delivery was relatively quick: 25 minutes after placing my order, the food arrived (though I was only one mile from the restaurant). This was noon July 4th. Delivery fee 5.37$.

Great food and a comfy atmosphere. Stopped by during the afternoon at happy hour and was presented with unique dishes that had great flavor. It gets a bit busy, but the service remains excellent. Their ingredients were fresh and local. Cocktails were well crafted. The raspberry sorbet ice cream was creamy and sweet!

We stopped by here because our initial plan didn’t pan out and good thing because we discovered this gem! The food was on point and service was great. My only ish were the drinks. I didn’t taste the requested flavor and it was more rum than what I expected. They tried to fix it though but I guess I had different expectations. It was the painkiller. The mojitos were okay but I’ll leave the drinks out lol because the food was everything! Desert was on point, the mosaic and it was shareable! We had the Branzino and seafood linguini and man! Was it everything and then some. The pictures don’t tell it all. The side rice and salad complemented the pan seared Branzino and the linguini was packed with a lovely variety of seafood like shrimp, calamari, salmon and tilapia. Now the pan seared Branzino was well seasoned and a lovely size. I have eaten Branzino at a few restaurants and this was top notch. Service was friendly, decent, accommodating and professional. We had a lovely time and we recommend for singles, couples and large groups! Cheers!

We came here after my graduation, conveniently straight behind the Barclays. For an occasion to remember; the food was spectacular!!! Everything was well cooked and seasoned to perfection. From the calf liver, hummus, to the platters to even the RICE and HOUSE SALAD. Every meat items was tender soft and juicy. ESPECIALLY THE LAMB CHOPS, so good we ordered another after everyone was done. Never had such great lamb like this before. But for really everyone was impressed with the amount of flavor with everything included the rice and salad which we also had to take home. really recommend if you want Turkish food. THE STAFF AND SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT, for they even accommodated my Dad to have a prayer space during Asr and Isha time. Deniz is something to talk about everytime we’ll talk about my accomplishments of graduating

The food was good but overpriced imo. I was looking forward to the stuffed cabbage but it fell flat. Their turkish custard dessert is delicious though, and the staff is so nice and very attentive. The interior is large and well decorated.

My overall rating is 4.5 stars for this restaurant. I'm taking off 0.5 star due to the high prices considering the fact that it's located all the way in Brooklyn. I don't think that it is fair to charge Manhattan prices there. Other than that, both food and service quality were good. They do have an outside seating available although we sat inside.

I made a reservation here earlier in the day, and they got us seated real quick. The service was super friendly and efficient. We started with buffalo wings where pretty big and tasty. We also got the beef shish and adana kebab platters with no rice and extra salad. All the food is halal and it was a good meal, but a bit too pricey for what you get.

10/10 would recommend and a great option if in Brooklyn. I LOVE Turkish food, but hadn’t eaten much of it since moving to NYC. I have found my place! The crust on the pizza is just delicious. The salads taste so fresh. And the lamb! I never clean my bone but had to with the lamb chops

My brother and I dined here tonight for the first time since the sun decided to come out! We had been wanting to come to this spot for a while and I’m so glad we did. We sat outside at the picnic benches and our server was Abby. Abby completely made our experience 5+ stars! He was full of energy, smiling, and attentive. For starters, we had the hummus and pita. This was the freshest hummus I’ve ever had! The pita was amazing too. We had the mixed grill and chose the chicken souvlaki, chicken gyro, and the lamb for our meats. Similar to the starters, the three meat plate was delicious. It came with rice and a side salad. To finish, we had the rice pudding. I couldn’t recommend Black Iris enough and make sure Abby is your server. He’s the best!

Lovely little Mediterranean restaurant with a bar inside. The mezze plate is a must to try it all! We also got the zaatar bread which was unreal. Almost like an olive oil pizza. The last picture is of the cheese spanakopita. 10/10. I would gotten three more of those. The service was a bit slow even though we were only one of two tables and there were about 3-4 servers available. We also had the spicy lamb sausage plate which was a great deal. Would definitely come back!

What an experience! OMG, it was so tasty, with so much flavor! Every time I eat something vegetarian or vegan and it’s this good, I really reconsider my habit of consuming meat. This meal was a solid 10 out of 10. I could have done with one more piece of bread, though (lol). But yes, the portion was huge, and everything was nice and tasty. There were a few items I had never tried before, and I am definitely having them again. I even plan to try cooking some for my friends when I get back home. Thank you so much! And a special thanks to the lovely attendant who handled my pickup order.

I have ordered from here quite a few times. I ordered 4 pies today & they were ready quickly. One of the pepperoni pies was barely cut... not a big deal. What I can't ignore is the fact that a whole cheese pie was burnt. There is no way that pie should've been served. I am disappointed...

Hot piping, fresh, delicious, NY slice right here in Fort Greene. How lucky are we to live close nearby. As my Mother-in-law said about this place: "I don't know how I would survive living next to a pizza that is so good". After trying all of their slices, we have a favorite: White Pesto. Yum! 2nd place: Stuffed meat pizza. See you soon, dear pizza.

I had 2 sandwiches and 2 seltzers, and the total was 38$. They're just normal deli sandwiches Totally basic on a roll. I feel like these sandwiches would have been 8$ each 4 years ago. Not every business can charge "luxury prices" Just because. If you want to Charge 16$ For a sandwich, you need to try to make it at least a little bit artisanal. Not normal new york city deli boar's head on a roll with shaved iceberg. context is everything. If this was priced like a bodega sandwich, I wouldn't be complaining.

I like this bagel place. They have a lot of bagel and cream cheese options. There are also a bunch of tables to sit and eat at. The staff is friendly and nice. There are a lot of good bagel places in NYC but if your near Atlantic Barclays area this is good place to go.

Always a normal experience here, I’m never fully obsessed with the bagels. Decent service and plenty of seating - good location too. This just wouldn’t pop up on my radar or extraordinary bagels in NYC.

I'm rounding up from 2.5 stars to 3 here cause it's Friday and I'm feeling generous. The coffee was good, the food here is fine, but at the price point it should be better. Two unfancy breakfast bagels and a coffee cost me $20. Actually it cost me over $30, and I had to point out that seemed excessive before they rang me up again and found the error. The queue to order and wait for food is a jumbled mess. There is no rhyme or reason to who's order is ready first. People I know have raved about the deliciousness of everything here, but when I finally opened my 20 dollar bagel... it had the wrong toppings on it. I vote: it's fine but overrated.

Ok, this is a great neighborhood spot with affordable drink and good music ( r&b, hip hop etc) currently there’s no kitchen but they allow you to bring in your own food. At night a taco food truck comes at night as well. Great watering hole to meet up with friends. Bartenders are friendly and mix the drinks well.

This place was a one and done spot for me. I liked sitting outside better then being inside this spot. As it got later in the night I wondered how anyone living above this place could enjoy their apartment with the super loud music and voices from this bar. I guess you have to be a regular customer to enjoy.

Went there last night for the first time. They have a great selection. I got a very thick peanut butter milkshake and it was excellent. But the calories are another thing so I’ll not make it a habit of coming here too often. 5/5 stars.

We ordered 2 pints of Chocolate Devotion using a b1g1 deal on Uber eats. Ended up being ~$30 delivered. Chocolate Devotion was exactly what we wanted - chocolate with chocolate and more chocolate. The ice cream came a little soft so one went directly in the freezer and we started on the other. Still delicious and satisfying though! Would definitely buy it again especially with b1g1.
