5 Star Rating I am so thankful I found this restaurant for our trip. The food and service was wonderful. It was very nice dining outside in this beautiful unusual weather. These were the best frites I have ever tasted. I love French fries❤️ The wine list is very extensive.

3 Star Rating Balthazar is definitely a Manhattan staple for the ambience and experience, but the food is not as good as it was a few years ago. We were able to make reservations for Sunday brunch on the phone on the day of, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the egg dishes were forgettable. The bread and pain de chocolate were cold and not toasted. We did enjoy the escargot. Overall, it’s worth a visit once or twice, but if you want a really great brunch, I would look elsewhere.

5 Star Rating Both the bakery and restaurant are superb. Breakfasts are the best on weekdays as there’s just enough people without being too noisy. Baked eggs are a must plus the bread. Took home some pastries too coz you just have to. Staff is always nice and attentive.

3 Star Rating No lines if you stop in for dinner on a Saturday afternoon at 5pm like we did. After a late brunch, it was a little early so we only ordered 2 entrees. Their presentations were good, but both were underwhelming. The halibut was under seasoned, thin, overdone and dry, The braised short rib was very fatty, also overdone, braised to the point that the beef became stringy and no longer "beefy", could've been a hunk of braised pork, but mostly fat and less flavorful. Service was good, water was refilled frequently and the bread was very good, probably the best food we had here. The tables are tiny and inches apart. If you enjoy tight quarters that make you feel like you're in a cozy brasserie in Paris, Balthazar's your place.

5 Star Rating This review was long overdue. My husband and I came here by accident. We were looking for a place to have dinner and we saw Lure Fishbar. We were like let try this, and that was the right decision. We came in the little early, around 5:30pm which was perfect time for us. As you can see from the pictures, we had some oysters, couple drinks, and some sushi. Perfection!

5 Star Rating I frequent Lure often, and always have the most amazing time and great food, but last night Lure particularly went above and beyond to accommodate a birthday group for 12 people last minute at 10:45 pm. We had originally hosted a surprise party at Soho House, and because of the no photo policy, we went to Lure to cut the cake and have a round of drinks. They set up a BEAUTIFUL 12 person table for us, were so attentive to the party (even though they were nearly closing), kind to our table and so sweet to the birthday girl, and did not rush us with ordering food. We lingered in the restaurant for a long time after, and no one tried to rush us out, but rather said happy birthday again to the birthday girl when we left. I think more restaurants need to take note of the quality of service that Lure provides. They go above and beyond to make everyone feel at home, and it is noticeable! Thank you so much to Victoria and Cici, our servers, who were so fun to talk to and so incredibly helpful with cutting the cake, taking photos and delivering our food. Thank you to Judy the hostess who so kindly seated us and helped to prepare a wonderful table scape! Y’all all go above and beyond!!

3 Star Rating Interesting bar in the lower level of the building, inside of shaped like the cabin of a boat. Definitely get the seafood here, and definitely go for the specialty oysters as those are much better than the regular oysters. I particularly like the wasabi one. The steak was too salty, and the arugula salad was a bit weird. The beet salad was good, though, and a lobster always just so-so compared with Luke's lobster roll. The seafood tower was a good mix of different pieces, though a little light on some of the sauce. Uni pasta was great, a bit spicy. Service was really good, at least to start until it became busy. Then it took a while to get any refills on drinks and water other than when they were bringing food to the table.

5 Star Rating Wow e wow wow love the atmosphere and I loved all of the food. Cocktails were great too but the vibe…not a place to bring non NY elite. A little snobby snob snob? Yeah a bit. I brought my parents and wanted to treat them to some great seafood. You did not disappoint but the lack of welcome from any one of our three servers and the concierge attitude was a bit much for me. I’ll be back because the food was extraordinary but I won’t be bringing out of towners. Whomp whomp.

5 Star Rating Had been hearing about here for a long time and even put my name down a couple of times but the wait was so long so I finally got to try it out and it didn’t disappoint at all. The pizza was so good and one of the best thin crusted pizzas in NYC for sure. We had the arugula and Caesar salad too and they were good. In the end we had the bread pudding desert and that was average in our opinion. The pizza we got were the ones in the picture. Tie dye was my favorite.

The pizza was excellent, especially the sauce, which had a delicious flavour and great depth. The pizza had an authentic New York-style thin crust, which I enjoyed. I am looking forward to trying the other flavours on my next visit.

4 Star Rating Went on a hot date Saturday night to celebrate my birthday. I love pizza so I was really excited. Ambiance was nice but this place was super packed...Wait time was two hours, even to sit at the bar you need a reservation! We got lucky and got seated after a few minutes 😁 service was great, calamari was amazing ! It's a must, hot and crispy with a hint of spicy. Marinara sauce was perfect. The pizza was okay, it was super thin (not my fave) my friend tried to fold it, the way we true new yorkers eat pizza but it cracked from being so crispy and thin, at least it was really flavorful, we enjoyed it. The drinks were really good and strong. I had the Irish mule and I was happy with it. The server gave me a tiny pizza box with chocolate for being the birthday girl, I thought that was really nice. Overall had a great time and I would go back🙂

3 Star Rating The location is good, and the menu looks decent, so we decided to step in for lunch. Unfortunately, all three different meals we ordered were really bland! It is surprising, as pasta in general is not a difficult dish to make, at least to make it average level. The pricing is pricey, but that comes with the location, I guess. Not sure what the problem is here - perhaps too much is pre-prepared? Nevertheless, it is definitely not a place I'd return to. Absolutely no complaints about the staff, who is friendly and attentive.

And of course a bottle or two of wine. The gelato parmigiana (spelling?) is so good. Whipped up spreadable cheese. Prosciutto is cut when you order.

3 Star Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Visited Osteria Moroni in SoHo, drawn by its fusion Italian menu. The food we ordered was decent - it hit the 'okay' mark but didn't quite dazzle the taste buds. However, the high price tag, especially for the wine and drinks, felt a bit steep. Considering the location, some premium is expected, but just a few blocks away, there are spots offering more authentic and value-packed Italian experiences. A fair choice if you're nearby, but there's more to explore in the area for Italian cuisine enthusiasts. 🍝🍷📍

Popular Among Locals and Visitors: Its popularity is evident from the bustling atmosphere and multiple locations spread across the city. Generous Portions: Grey Dog offers consistently delicious food with generous portion sizes, ensuring diners leave satisfied. Seating: The restaurant provides ample indoor and outdoor seating, making it an ideal spot for gatherings with friends. Things to keep in mind: Peak Hour Challenges: Snagging a table during peak hours can be challenging, if you prefer walking into a restaurant without reservations for a leisurely brunch experience then this place isn’t for you. Bathroom Queues: With only a single bathroom, customers need to exercise patience during busy hours, as lengthy queues can occur.

Little bit too crowded for me though, it felt like we basically shared a table with our neighbors even though we had separate tables. 3 Star Rating We received many recommendations for this restaurant and decided to make a reservation for a table of 8 on Saturday eve. We arrived on time but had to wait for an hour as the restaurant had forgotten to keep the table reserved for us. Instead of apologizing, they blamed us for the mistake. The service was terrible and the heat inside the restaurant was unbearable due to the overcrowded seating. Despite all of this, the food was good. We believe that if we had received our table on time, we would have had a great evening there.

I give a 4 because the hostess legit gave us looks all night and made us feel uncomfortable for being a group of 9 sat in the bar area (which we were told we could be sat there without a reservation). 5 Star Rating The wife and I were looking for a quick bite before our flight back home, and we found this neat tacoria in the lower east side. The service was fast and kind. Prices were cheaper than most places we've been to, but the flavors delivered greatly. Their horchata and Agua de jimica are so refreshing and reminsent of what I've had in Mexico. We both had the esquites, which were phenomenal, especially for the cold weather. It was almost 100% traditional if it wasn't for the sweet yellow corn, but the chipotle mayo really gives it a good kick. Lastly, the cod taco was a perfect light finisher for lunch. Flakey golden goodness with crunchy cabbage and a lovely tangy sauce to go with really wrapped things up. When you are ever nearby, stop on in for a great bite.

5 Star Rating In this area, there are many cafes targeted at tourists, but the service and the taste of the food often don't quite live up to expectations. Initially, we had similar thoughts as we decided to step into this café for a beer and maybe some chips. The staff inside warmly showed us to our seats and took our orders with big smiles. While I wished the beer had been a bit colder, the Lobster Bacon Sandwich we ordered was incredibly delicious, pleasantly simple, meticulously prepared, and even had a cute Swiss flag decoration. The lobster was fresh, and its pairing with avocado was spot on. Eating the sandwich, it became evident that this café puts a lot of care into their food, making us confident that choosing this place was the right decision. Later, we ordered warm Apple Strudel, Prosecco, and Hot Coffee. At $3 for drip coffee in this area, it's very reasonable! The taste was delightful and rich. The warm apple strudel was made with great attention, not overly sweet, with a crispy crust and a melt-in-your-mouth filling—arguably the best apple pie in New York! I'll definitely come back here, aiming to try the Lobster Bisque that everyone praises. Until next time!

5 Star Rating Out of the many restaurants I’ve been a patron to, this is definitely top 10 experiences! From the moment I walked in the manager was extremely friendly. The soup was poured table side and the nachos (to order) came with three fresh sauces. The churros were warm and crispy and came with three sauces. The server, who I cannot remember his name, was the best server ever! He gave me fresh sauce to go and was very polite and attentive. It’s on the pricier side but well worth it.

5 Star Rating Amazing Mexican food in NYC, we ordered tacos, chips and guac. Everything tasted fresh and citrusy, the fish was soft and the veggie tacos were well cooked. Wish we can go back however it was quite expensive, but I assume this is relative to the area it’s located in.

4 Star Rating We tried the pricly pear margarita, it had a synthetic taste to it that I didnt like. However the service was very good, they changed it as soon as they realized I didnt like it . The nachos tasted great. And to top it, when they realized it was my birthday they brought surprise churros :) it was very kind, thank you :)
