4 Star Rating We had a private dining room for a corporate dinner. Good selection of drinks. We had a set menu. I had Salmon and salad - tasted good. Had a cappuccino at the end - which was good as well. Ambience was really nice

4 Star Rating Amazingly unique great tasting pizza!! They have the best Sauce!! We found this place by accident and figured we give it a shot. The wait was about an hour long but it was worth it. We had the best pizza I could have ever imagined.

Miguel Martin - 1 month ago

5 Star Rating The best sit down pizza experience I've had in this city. I'm blown away each time I go! I would 100% recommend the Tie Dye pizza. The others are good and enjoyable but the Tie Dye is why this place deserves 5 stars.

4 Star Rating This Italian hipster cafe boasts style and flavor. From their modern open and exposed kitchen to their vintage photos and classy old time music, this place definitely has a vibe. What is that vibe? Lunch with friends or a first date dinner... this place is definitely also hits you with some great modern Italian flavors. We definitely tore through the menu by ordering three of their five salads, 3 pastas and dessert.

5 Star Rating Staff was very friendly and the pizza was amazing. I got the vodka pizza and it didn't disappoint. The pie is like paper thin, so you can actually eat it all by yourself. The highlight was the sauce. It is the best sauce I have ever had in my life. The tomatoes tasted so fresh and naturally sweet. Would definitely recommend.

5 Star Rating Score ! Walked in to seats at the bar! It's busy but really worth it. Missed the brunch breakfast pizza, but dinner is just as great. Staff is unbelievably accommodating with the combo regular / tourist diners.

5 Star Rating The meal, the atmosphere, the experience was amazing. Highly recommend this place. The food was so tasty, great quality, fresh and one of the best meals I had in NYC while visiting. If you want to eat a great Italian meal stay away from those touristy spots in little Italy....this is the place you want to eat at.

5 Star Rating A truly exceptional dining experience! I’ve been to 3-star Michelin restaurants before, and I can gladly say that this is most worthy of this achievement. Service is excellent. Food (as you can see) is beautifully plated, and has flavours that boggle the mind and inspires. It’s not a cheap dining experience. But if you ever find yourself there, once you experience the food, you’ll quickly forget the cost!

Jim Heck - 17 days ago

4 Star Rating Wasn’t sure what to expect when looking at the menu but the four dishes we tried were all delicious. The burrata was amazing and we loved the crunch of the fried black rice with squid - it’s similar to a paella. The lamb was flavorful but also fatty. Tables are squeezed in tight to the small restaurant, but wait staff was pleasant and attentive. All in all, a very good experience.

Megan Anderson - 20 days ago

4 Star Rating Estela was good food at a decent price point, particularly for a tasting menu. Portion size was small though. Liked the sandwich and the lamb rib dish, though could have used larger servings. Other courses were all decent. Casual atmosphere in the restaurant.

Leon Lin - 3 months ago

4 Star Rating Location great, service great, wine great, but some of the food was weird. I appreciate unique flavors and trying new things, but the dried shrimp reminded me of cat food. The plates are also all tapas, so if there are more than two of you you need to order A LOT to feel satisfied. More vegetarian options would be nice. It was also a bit tight in the restaurant, the tables were quite close together. Overall, recommend!

Victoria Ragan - 4 months ago

5 Star Rating Service was amazing, drinks were great. But the food... the food was a whole other level. First of all, I will admit that the price tag is significant, especially since you are going to be ordering like 2-3 of these tapas-style dishes per person. But nobody will be complaining, because by the second dish you're going to wish you had just gotten on of everything on the menu. Since everything was an ace I'll stick to the surprises. First if all the endive salad. Anyone who hates bitter will not like this, but if you're a dry wine/dark chocolate/black coffee type, do it. The presentation is phenomenal and the balance between the leaves and the filling is like a narrative experience for your mouth. The burrata was another surprise win, just a big old gob of cool, creamy cheese served on a thick slab of charred bread soaking up gravy from a shallow bowl.

4 Star Rating Food: 7/10 Environment: 6/10 Price: 8/10 Cozy little cafe with decent food. The seating is like a restaurant and you can reserve tables but ordering is like a cafe and you have to go up to the counter and put in your orders. You don't get waited on by servers and when your order is ready they just call out your name. I ordered a burger and fries and the wait time wasn't too bad. The food was alright, not quite my taste but not terrible. They have amazing sweet potato fries. They also have their own house made ketchup that I personally can't stand but my wife loved so it's definitely got it's merits and could be a solid 8 if that's your taste.

Free Dortch - 15 days ago

5 Star Rating I'm in here at least once a week. Out of all of their locations this one is my favorite. The staff is cool and I find the food is cooked best here. Kind of bummed to find out their pricey juice I was paying for was nothing more than bottled juice from the grocery store lol... but I love this place so much I'll overlook it and stick to water.

Aria Smith - 10 days ago

5 Star Rating The new stuff on the menu is amazing, especially the fried chicken sandwich. Also, the guy who runs their kitchens is super hot. Is he single?

Nathalie T - 13 days ago

5 Star Rating These guys know how to run a busy cafe. There was a line going out the door, but we had a table ready for us by the time we ordered (thank you to the guy manning and the door AND running food to the tables). Pancakes we're good (blueberry butter was tasty) and the granola + fresh fruit was delicious. My bloody mary was the right level of spicy. Definitely recommend you stop by.

4 Star Rating Not bad but not wow either. I was recommended this place by a fellow Aussie and it didn’t disappoint but didn’t impress our socks off for 5 stars. Bowls here were decent and fresh, but the bill came to about $26 a pop which is way overpriced for what you get here. We wanted to go Banter NYC but they close at 6pm so Ruby’s it was... it’s a safe choice but not my first choice.

4 Star Rating Food was good. We were seated in a timely fashion. Our waiter (Mike) was cordial and attentive. Food came out quickly and was warm. In a city of a million options you'd do well to consider this one.

5 Star Rating Ruby's was the first Australian cafe I have ever been do. In my opinion, they make the best chicken burger in NYC, hands down. In addition, the fries they serve are nothing less but legendary. My wife loves the salads they serve. We always have a wonderful time here. Thanks!

5 Star Rating Superb Italian food with great service and delicious wine choices. The service was super friendly. It's homey but still sophisticated enough for a romantic night out. Try the grappa flight. You won't be disappointed!

Nick Drochak - 5 days ago

5 Star Rating Osteria Morini is always a safe bet if you're looking for solid Italian food. Their brunch offers delicious bloody Marys, pastas, and typical brunch fare. The large pancake was the perfect mix of savory and sweet. In addition to brunch, I highly recommend trying their ~120 day dry-aged steak which is offered on the first Wednesday of every month. Other must-try dishes include the fusilli and squid ink pastas. In short, I do recommend this and will be returning.

Ashlee Hon - 1 month ago

4 Star Rating Pretty good seems to sum it up well. Food was tasty but not overwhelmingly so. Wine list is interesting and pretty extensive, but the grapes are fairly unknown, which can make it difficult for most to pick out a wine. The atmosphere is nice and servers were mostly helpful. Not a bad option overall.

Nick Dyslin - 3 months ago

4 Star Rating Good service, good food, excellent menu that get updated often with new and exciting dishes. no rush, relax and enjoy. a bit expensive but worth the quality.

Clarissa Redbird - 1 month ago

5 Star Rating An Italian place like few others. The menu and wine list are over the top. Be sure and not miss the antipasto course. The first course offers more variety than most Italian places. Reservations nay be difficult, book early. If the party is larger than 4 an early booking is a must.

4 Star Rating This was an overall very pleasant dining experience. Great service, really good fettuccine Alfredo, clam chowder. The salads were a little lacking though. I'd try this place again and check out the am seared fish dishes- they looked really amazing.

5 Star Rating Great place with great food and great service! We had dinner here on a Saturday night. The place is small and cozy. We got lucky to get a table fast but I would recommend to do a reservation for just in case because the place was packed. But despite of that the service was fast and the food was very delicious. Especially I recommend to try their eggplant - I think it is the best eggplant in NYC area - it’s tender, slightly crispy, light and absolutely delicious. We also had crab cakes, kebab, mussels and fries. Everything was very good. The drinks were good as well (especially their Freda’s old-fashion). They also have crayons and stickers for kids to keep them occupied. Great place and we are looking forward to come back here again.

Sveta A - 9 days ago

4 Star Rating Literally a hole in the wall. Super tiny. Food are fantastic. There are outdoor seating during the spring and summer. RSVP is needed with a group of at least 6 or more. Sugar packets has super cute messages. Their cantaloupe fresh juice are very refreshing. Ask for their spicy sauce, very similar to the green sauce.

Zerlina Lin - 2 days ago

3 Star Rating Food was good, though small servings and limited menu. Made a reservation for a group of 6, we were missing one person and ended up having to wait almost as much as the people that get written up on the spot. I enjoyed the meal, and service was pleasant, not rushing us even though they have little space and long lines. Not sure it's worth a long wait considering all the other great choices in the area.

5 Star Rating Whoa.... just whoa. Next level place. Awesome vibe. Have to be willing to get cozy with your neighbors, but it’s worth it. Food is excellent

5 Star Rating We came by this place accidentally, looking for a good breakfast. This was one of the best places I have ever been to for breakfast, the wait time during the week without reservation is around 15 minutes. They serve fantastic coffee but the best is the food. For example waffles with rose water. I can only recommend coming here for a breakfast or brunch. Cozy atmosphere, good prices and fantastic food.

5 Star Rating Awesome French restaurant. Their menu is just great, lots of variety. Their onion soup is super tasty, so are the mussels with fries. Their wine menu is great, they have Chablis. They also have daily specials. Prices are high but worth the portions and taste. Venue is super nice, cozy, like an authentic French bistro. Reservations are encouraged. A must in New York City.

4 Star Rating Delicious little fresh bistro. Lobster pasta was amazing but I was really surprised no branzino. Nice fresh breads. Downside is the tables are crammed together so no privacy

Lisa McDermott - 1 month ago

3 Star Rating I have had breakfast here several times over the years, and I always enjoy the ambiance and charm of the restaurant along with the attentive service. Breakfast is somewhere on the scale of above average to fair to middling. There are many better places to have breakfast in NYC. However, Balthazar's is still a place one can return to time and again to enjoy decent food in a charming and memory-filled setting.

Mark Unverzagt - 7 days ago

3 Star Rating Really just not worth the price. The food is okay-good and is served in medium to small servings. The staff is nice and very professional, but the restaurant itself felt more like a casual cafe than a fine dining restaurant. I don't really see what Balthazar has to offer to pretend to legitimately demand its prices. Not that it was bad. NYC just has waaay more to offer.

Dwitiya Neethi - 17 days ago

4 Star Rating One of the best seafood restaurants in the city. The decor is reflective of an actual boat, which sets high expectations of their seafood. Fortunately, they deliver on each expectation! The choice of oysters are all great and the wine list is broad yet well thought through. Plenty of entrees to choose from and all delicious. I spent some time at the bar while i was there too. They make excellent drinks. Wish the bar wasn't as crowded. The staff was also very considerate and worked hard for us. Overall great dining experience, would totally come back.

anthony giardina - 3 months ago

4 Star Rating I liked the food very much. I recommend the fried calamari it was scrumptious. We also had Lure signature rolls and Hellfire rolls. Both were delicious. I suggest to make reservations in the back of the restaurant, because the part by the door and the bar is too crowded and noisy. It was hard to talk to each other. Also we ordered octopus but it didnt come. Kitchen was busy i think. But the waitress was so nice to bring complementary ice cream, which made us happy.

5 Star Rating A wonderful wonderful date night! I took my boyfriend here for a date night for restaurant week and we had an amazing dining experience. The setting was amazing, looks like the inside of a fancy yacht! The food was rich and flavorful. I had the miso crusted salmon cooked to absolute perfection. And the service was so kind, helpful, and attentive. Our waiter, George, was no nice and made our dining experience above and beyond. He deserves a serious raise! Overall great night!
