I am so thankful I found this restaurant for our trip.
The food and service was wonderful. It was very nice dining outside in this beautiful unusual weather. These were the best frites I have ever tasted. I love French fries❤️ The wine list is very extensive.

Both the bakery and restaurant are superb. Breakfasts are the best on weekdays as there’s just enough people without being too noisy. Baked eggs are a must plus the bread. Took home some pastries too coz you just have to. Staff is always nice and attentive.

No lines if you stop in for dinner on a Saturday afternoon at 5pm like we did. After a late brunch, it was a little early so we only ordered 2 entrees. Their presentations were good, but both were underwhelming. The halibut was under seasoned, thin, overdone and dry, The braised short rib was very fatty, also overdone, braised to the point that the beef became stringy and no longer "beefy", could've been a hunk of braised pork, but mostly fat and less flavorful. Service was good, water was refilled frequently and the bread was very good, probably the best food we had here. The tables are tiny and inches apart. If you enjoy tight quarters that make you feel like you're in a cozy brasserie in Paris, Balthazar's your place.

My go to restaurant! EVERYTHING is good here. You can’t have bad experience. The bakery next to it is so convenient if you can’t get the seat. A French experience in NYC.

Balthazar is definitely a Manhattan staple for the ambience and experience, but the food is not as good as it was a few years ago. We were able to make reservations for Sunday brunch on the phone on the day of, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the egg dishes were forgettable. The bread and pain de chocolate were cold and not toasted. We did enjoy the escargot. Overall, it’s worth a visit once or twice, but if you want a really great brunch, I would look elsewhere.

Beautiful yacht-vibes atmosphere. Very classy and upscale without being stuffy or pretentious. Lively and fun, fit for young people and older folks alike. The cocktails were very good and the service was excellent. I had the Asian snapper for two and it was absolutely delicious and unique. It’s on the pricier end but definitely worth it. Great for dates, special occasions, dinners with family from out of town. Definitely would return.

High on the Hog brought us here. The food was fantastic - can’t recommend the red snapper enough. The crispy rice sushi wasn’t aesthetically pleasing, but was delicious. The only complaint was that the restaurant was incredibly loud. We ate in silence, because we literally had to shout to hear each other. The decor is great, but sound dampeners definitely need to be fitted.

This review was long overdue. My husband and I came here by accident. We were looking for a place to have dinner and we saw Lure Fishbar. We were like let try this, and that was the right decision. We came in the little early, around 5:30pm which was perfect time for us. As you can see from the pictures, we had some oysters, couple drinks, and some sushi. Perfection!

I frequent Lure often, and always have the most amazing time and great food, but last night Lure particularly went above and beyond to accommodate a birthday group for 12 people last minute at 10:45 pm. We had originally hosted a surprise party at Soho House, and because of the no photo policy, we went to Lure to cut the cake and have a round of drinks. They set up a BEAUTIFUL 12 person table for us, were so attentive to the party (even though they were nearly closing), kind to our table and so sweet to the birthday girl, and did not rush us with ordering food. We lingered in the restaurant for a long time after, and no one tried to rush us out, but rather said happy birthday again to the birthday girl when we left. I think more restaurants need to take note of the quality of service that Lure provides. They go above and beyond to make everyone feel at home, and it is noticeable! Thank you so much to Victoria and Cici, our servers, who were so fun to talk to and so incredibly helpful with cutting the cake, taking photos and delivering our food. Thank you to Judy the hostess who so kindly seated us and helped to prepare a wonderful table scape!
Y’all all go above and beyond!!

Wow e wow wow love the atmosphere and I loved all of the food. Cocktails were great too but the vibe…not a place to bring non NY elite. A little snobby snob snob? Yeah a bit. I brought my parents and wanted to treat them to some great seafood. You did not disappoint but the lack of welcome from any one of our three servers and the concierge attitude was a bit much for me. I’ll be back because the food was extraordinary but I won’t be bringing out of towners. Whomp whomp.

One of the best sit-down pizza places in NYC. You can never go wrong with their tie-dye pizza. The crust is thin and the sauces are a unique flavorful combo. Also they have a large mock-tail menu (which I hope to explore on my next visit)

Great NYC pizzeria not to be missed over the social media hot spots. Thin crust pizza with wonderful flavor. We had 14" with vodka sauce with mozzarella and added a couple extra toppings. Enough for 2 plus we had leftovers to take home. I would love to try some of the pasta dishes but pizza only this time.😥 Service was attentive and all the staff were friendly!

Very authentic New York restaurant, service was friendly and the pizza is thin and crispy (just the way I like pizza!) Our server was really laid-back and friendly, we appreciated his nice presence. I’d recommend going for the half-and-half option with the pizza, then you get to try more than one flavour. We got tie-dye and honey pie, both absolutely delicious. Honey pie is a perfect balance of sweet and savoury. I also recommend asking for the pizza to be extra crispy. Also, the arugula salad is a large portion, so good for sharing, and was a great complement to the pizza.

Rubirosa in SoHo is a solid choice for pizza. We walked in for lunch on a Thursday and only waited about 20 minutes. The restaurant was busy, which made sense given the quality of the food. Our waiter, Brian, was friendly and attentive. We had the garlic knots, which were excellent, and a half/half pizza with Tie Die and Hot Honey. I preferred the Hot Honey as the pesto on the Tie Die wasn’t to my taste, but overall, it was a good experience. The atmosphere and food made for an enjoyable meal. Worth a visit.

The location is good, and the menu looks decent, so we decided to step in for lunch.
Unfortunately, all three different meals we ordered were really bland! It is surprising, as pasta in general is not a difficult dish to make, at least to make it average level. The pricing is pricey, but that comes with the location, I guess. Not sure what the problem is here - perhaps too much is pre-prepared? Nevertheless, it is definitely not a place I'd return to.
Absolutely no complaints about the staff, who is friendly and attentive.

The food was very good. We had a board of meats and cheeses cut on the spot. The paste was fresh and yummy and the same for the meatballs. The service was not so friendly or nice. And the vibe is ok but don't go in for that.

I’ve been coming here for over a decade and love sharing this spot with friends. The food is always so good. Typically get a charcuterie board, steak and 1-2 pasta dishes for 4 people. And of course a bottle or two of wine. The gelato parmigiana (spelling?) is so good. Whipped up spreadable cheese. Prosciutto is cut when you order.

Our dinner soooo good I’m so happy we went for my birthday. Our server Brahim was attentive and very friendly. We had a meat and cheese board as an appetizer which was 10/10. The parmesan Reggiano and goat milk blue cheese were so good and the meat we chose was very fresh. I had the cappelletti pasta entree which was over the top amazing, never had anything like it, and it came out super hot! My fiancé had the veal, amazing as well and a great portion. I can’t wait to go back here.

Gorgeous Italian restaurant that serves great food! While I did see possibilities for large groups, the setup seems more inclined towards groups of 4 or less. Before 7 p.m., it was still a quiet ambiance. As the night went on, the restaurant became more lively and busy. Our server was great, citing the specials and giving recommendations. My friends and I ordered tortellini, fried artichoke, burrata, and chicken eggplant to share family style and finishing with a tiramisu. My personal favorites were the burrata and tiramisu! I might come back someday to try their cocktails at the bar.

Finally got to eat here without having to wait. I went during dinner time and I really enjoyed the old-school diner vibes. This place is small, but adorable. I got the two most famous pastas. The garlic bread is a must just spend the extra three dollars and make it a deluxe! You get like a bowl, full of marinara sauce and ricotta. The pasta definitely lived up to its name. I can’t speak about anything else on the menu but willing to try again if I’m ever able to. They’re typically super busy .

OH MY GOD! This is my favorite place in the city right now and I do my best to introduce it to all my friends and family. Parm on Mulberry St. is a tiny restaurant that serves some of the best italian cuisine in big portions at a reasonable price. Although their menu is on the smaller side, each of their dishes come out fresh, hot, and very tasty. I usually enjoy their pizza garlic rolls and mozzerella sticks for appetizers and eggplant parm platter for dinner. The best part is that all the platters come with a side of spicy rigatoni that is very similar to the one at Carbone. Basically, you get a 2 in 1 deal when ordering a platter.
Seating is very limited and it is crammed in the restaurant so be prepared to enjoy a hearty meal on a small table while bumping elbows with the person next to you. There are a couple tables in the restaurant and outside. There is also bar seating.
The staff is very friendly and attentive. They are good at making conversation and make you feel at home while you enjoy your meal.
This place is a must try!

The seeded garlic bread with ricotta and marinara was amazing! The wines were decent, the carbone spicy rigatoni was delicious, and so was the Caesar. My chicken parm was a little dry/chewy, but overall a good experience. We were able to walk in and get a table on a weekend around 8pm, so that was a win.

Best chicken parm sandwich in nyc. Italian fries were good as well. The service was kinda blah but the food was amazing. I also heard that they have a really good Cesar salad and I believe you add chicken or shrimp to it. I would definitely go back. Outside seating is avaliable also

Things I love:
Prime Location: Situated in the heart of Manhattan, Grey Dog is conveniently accessible for both locals and visitors.
Popular Among Locals and Visitors: Its popularity is evident from the bustling atmosphere and multiple locations spread across the city.
Generous Portions: Grey Dog offers consistently delicious food with generous portion sizes, ensuring diners leave satisfied.
Seating: The restaurant provides ample indoor and outdoor seating, making it an ideal spot for gatherings with friends.
Things to keep in mind:
Peak Hour Challenges: Snagging a table during peak hours can be challenging, if you prefer walking into a restaurant without reservations for a leisurely brunch experience then this place isn’t for you.
Bathroom Queues: With only a single bathroom, customers need to exercise patience during busy hours, as lengthy queues can occur.

This place is outstanding. A perfectly pleasant and high-energy atmosphere. That screams Bohemian. I loved this place and the food is amazing. The drinks are awesome. It is absolutely the place to go. It made 6 more worth a trip, and Kayla, the manager, was an outstanding people leader. Her team was efficient and professional service-oriented. And in her direction was in comp you control of their surroundings. I never felt more welcome in a place.

Avocado toast and grey dog breakfast.
I chose French toast for the grey dog breakfast and it was very good. It was paired with a sweet sauce and some blueberries.
Avocado toast was disappointing. Eggs wasn't done correctly.

Last week, I ate here and, contrary to a past experience of mine at this location, I really enjoyed it! I got the kale caesar salad and tomato soup; starting with the former, the salad tasted extremely flavorful, and the chickpeas were a great touch as well. Likewise, I loved the tomato soup. I definitely recommend coming here for anyone in the area!

My husband and I both really enjoyed our food. The tacos were great and so was literally everything else that we ordered. I also loved my spicy cocktail, cant recall the exact name. The waiter was very sassy, but I wouldn’t say he was rude. I found the vibe to be great as I really enjoy people watching. We paid around 300 usd which isn’t little for a street place like this but I think it was worth it 🍹

Just dropped by La Esquina again after a few years – yup, that was my second time there. I just chilled at the counter this time, grabbing some fish tacos and a beer that the super nice lady there recommended. Seriously, everything was top-notch. The fish in those tacos? Fantastic! And the beer? Just hit the spot. It was the perfect pick-me-up for my afternoon munchies, keeping me going until dinner. Can’t wait to swing by again for another round. If you’re around, definitely give it a try – you won’t regret it!

Great food, great atmosphere. We were seated in the basement which has a great vibe. Little bit too crowded for me though, it felt like we basically shared a table with our neighbors even though we had separate tables. The music is a bit too loud as well, which makes it kinda hard to talk. The food compensates a lot though. We had cauliflower tacos, brisket tacos, plantains, guacamole and ceviche.

We were in New York back in June and are here. Enjoyed it so much so we came back for a second time. Just as delicious and enjoyable. The wait staff all works together as a team and they are very polite and courteous. Food is delicious!! I had the shrimp taco….super delicious. I must note, we are super picky about our food, both times very happy.

The wife and I were looking for a quick bite before our flight back home, and we found this neat tacoria in the lower east side. The service was fast and kind.
Prices were cheaper than most places we've been to, but the flavors delivered greatly. Their horchata and Agua de jimica are so refreshing and reminsent of what I've had in Mexico. We both had the esquites, which were phenomenal, especially for the cold weather. It was almost 100% traditional if it wasn't for the sweet yellow corn, but the chipotle mayo really gives it a good kick. Lastly, the cod taco was a perfect light finisher for lunch. Flakey golden goodness with crunchy cabbage and a lovely tangy sauce to go with really wrapped things up.
When you are ever nearby, stop on in for a great bite.

In this area, there are many cafes targeted at tourists, but the service and the taste of the food often don't quite live up to expectations. Initially, we had similar thoughts as we decided to step into this café for a beer and maybe some chips. The staff inside warmly showed us to our seats and took our orders with big smiles. While I wished the beer had been a bit colder, the Lobster Bacon Sandwich we ordered was incredibly delicious, pleasantly simple, meticulously prepared, and even had a cute Swiss flag decoration. The lobster was fresh, and its pairing with avocado was spot on.
Eating the sandwich, it became evident that this café puts a lot of care into their food, making us confident that choosing this place was the right decision. Later, we ordered warm Apple Strudel, Prosecco, and Hot Coffee. At $3 for drip coffee in this area, it's very reasonable! The taste was delightful and rich.
The warm apple strudel was made with great attention, not overly sweet, with a crispy crust and a melt-in-your-mouth filling—arguably the best apple pie in New York! I'll definitely come back here, aiming to try the Lobster Bisque that everyone praises. Until next time!

A must visit if you are in the SoHo area and looking to get some desserts.
The cute cupcake sized Cheesecake look amazing and taste delicious when you bite into it .
The Salted Caramel is my personal favorite here . The Chocolate Mocha from the special menu was a wonderful addition to the cheesecake menu. The blueberry is another that I have tried multiple times here .
Try any flavor you like and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
Priced reasonably and doesn’t feel guilty like devouring a whole regular sized one 😂.

Delicious cheesecake. I got strawberry and Oreo. Oreo is usually my go-to wherever I get cheesecake but I actually liked the strawberry more here which was delicious. The place was small, it’s a grab-and-go joint. The line moved quick and we were in and out in no time. I’d go back. It was good but I wouldn’t make it a must-visit type place.

10/10!
There were many wonderful options. When walking in, we were greeted quickly and the worker was very polite and welcoming.
We got 2 strawberry cheesecakes, a banana cheesecake, and a pineapple (? Not sure can’t remember) one.
Total was in the $20s for all four. I think about $25.
I loveeedd the strawberry cheesecake! My partner ranked them as #1: banana, #2: strawberry, and #3: pineapple (?).

It's a small cheesecake shop, but the cheesecakes were incredibly delicious. We initially ordered two different flavors just to taste, but they were so soft and tasty that we ordered another one. I chose the crème brûlée, while my husband enjoyed the strawberry. I could have eaten more after trying three, but I had to stop for my dinner reservation. Highly recommended!

Quick service and DELICIOUS cheesecakes! I love how they come in small sized cups! These cheesecakes are light and airy and come in many flavors. My personal favorites were the mango, blueberry, strawberry, and dulce de leche.
What's amazing about these cheesecakes is that they are still very flavorful while being light and not overly sweet like cheesecakes you might get at cheesecake factory. I find those cheesecakes overwhelming and a bit heavy after eating them, where you get a bit sick of their decadence after a couple bites. The cheesecakes at this shop are sort of like Costco cheesecakes, but a little less sweet and with more flavors to choose from. Even though I had my favorites, I thought allt he flavors were well-executed. My least favorites were the chocolate-inspired ones.
Service is excellent and quick. We got our bites immediately. The staff was very considerate and helpful in giving us recommendations.
