A friend recommended King of Tandoor, and I was a tad doubtful it would hit my spice preference. It’s a cozy, ‘typical’ NYC Indian spot, and while I was right about the spice level for the chicken vindaloo, my friend was right to recommend this place. I don’t read menus at Indian spots. I just order Chicken Vindaloo spicy and if I’m hungry, I get samosas and garlic naan. I got it all today. And when I asked the waiter about the spice level, he told me it wouldn’t be spicy enough. I asked if he could give me something to make it spicier like green chilies and he just smiled and said, “I got you”. Wow did he. He brought out a jar of his personal favorite spicy sauce (Mr. Naga - I’m buying this as soon as I can!) and some green chilies. The spice level was absolutely perfect (which would probably be way more heat than most people enjoy). The waiter was so kind and helpful. He turned my experience into a great moment. Would highly recommend. And talk to your waiter! Ask questions. You’ll be happy you did.

This is clearly a more takeout focused restaurant (at least to me), so the interior dine in area was relatively small and the lighting was a little bit jarring.
As for the food, it was overall pretty good. My only complaints would be that the samosas were a little dry and the mixed meat biryani lacked a bit of seasoning, but it's something the complimentary condiments could easily fix.
The lamb tikka masala was delicious and perfectly spiced, and the basmati had a hint of coconut and paired well with the tikka masala. The garlic naan was very well made and was flavorful as well.
Service was good, the man working there was friendly.
Overall, a good experience with good food.

When I was a kid, I went to school a couple blocks away from this place and would come here with my mom. I have been eating here since the 4th grade. Almost everytime we came, they would turn on the most amazing Bollywood videos on at my request which has contributed to my love for Bollywood and Indian art, cuisine and culture. I will never ever forget this place, as they are the only restaurant I know that makes the best Shrimp Tikka Masala, with THE best Naan and THE BEST chutney on the planet. I will definitely be visiting you guys again soon and I wish I could put you in my pocket and bring you everywhere with me specifically to have on-demand Shrimp Tikka Masala.

I order from this place a fair amount because it’s close by and it’s the only Indian place in the area. Certain things will hit the spot if you are really craving Indian, and I recommend sticking to those things. Naan, Chana saag, samosas, papadam, chicken curry—the basics—are all okay. Like others have said, their biryani is bad. Flavorless, oily, and if you get the salmon, it honestly didn’t taste or look like salmon at all to me.
The other thing about ordering from here is the wait time, I’m assuming it’s because it’s the only Indian place in the area, not because the food is extraordinary. I live four blocks away and it will still take an hour for the food to be ready for pickup or delivery.
If you order delivery, don’t get your hopes up. They “forget” something almost every time I order, from something as small as the chutneys or drink, to an entire appetizer.
On top of that, the prices are high for the quality, compared to other places like Joy Indian in prospect heights.
Unfortunately I think because they’re the only ones in the area and they have high delivery orders, they just sacrifice on quality and service, which is a shame.

Best restaurant in PLG, and here’s why:
It’s never too busy in here - because so many people order this food to their homes.
The service is always so welcoming, you feel like you’re visiting with family.
There is so much good food to choose from, and they never disappoint. One time I was there and asked for a special side to come with my main course - which wasn’t on the menu, and they just cooked it for me in the spot.
Couldn’t recommend this place more.

Oh boy, look, if you're in the mood for that Cajun taste, go to Popeyes and set your taste buds alive with flavor. This Popeyes has friendly workers and is clean with a few tables and chairs for if you want to hide and eat so your family won't know you without them (😊) or you can take it home either way go and enjoy. I am happy that I went and decided to go through the app, so I got 6 wings combo plus 6 wings for $1.00 extra +tax as usual.

These cheap owners need to hire more employees. They're obviously understaffed, forcing people to use the self service kiosk whether they want to or not. Sandwiches were cold and soggy. Could not be more disappointed. Spent $30 on two terrible sandwich meals. Don't waste your money here.

I haven't had Popeye's chicken in over 5 years. It was late Friday night 5/23/25 and one of the only places opened so we stopped. We were NOT dissapointed. That chicken was thorougly cooked and moist and soft and tasted sooo good.
Our server was very nice and accomodating. There was a little wait but the food made up for that. Their drinks are VERY sweet but we added water to our taste.
I/we were all satisfied with the service and the foor

The chicken sandwich was very tasty and crispy. The bun was good and the sauces work well with the chicken and toppings. The cajun fries are just delicious! The place was very clean and tidy, yet with a slight smell of frying that sticks to the cloths.

First time ordering from here. It was from ubereats. I liked the variety in the sides they give you. I ordered salmon, fried rice and rasta pasta. The fried rice didn't look and taste like any I ever had. The rasta pasta was also dry. The food also was bland. However I did like the sauce they put in the bag which made it stand out. I'm curious as to what it was. It's not the pepper sauce.

Hidden Gem! Worth the trip! Came for the steamed whiting , fried rice and plantain. The dish was made to perfection. Best place in brooklyn for seafood on the go! They have healthier like veggie rice and mixed veggies as a side. Order for pickup it takes a while they look short staffed but worth the wait.

This was very satisfying. Oversized fries, jumbo shrimp season to perfection with dipping sauce and hand made hot sauce. You won't be disappointed. They would have gotten five stars but their efficiency needs fine tuning. The spot is small so you can forget dining in. The payment system is on par with today tech so you can print a receipt or have it emailed. Call ahead of time to help expedite your orders, because the place is business.

I decided to try this place because my other favorite was closed. I was blown away. This place has the best home cooked, italic food I ever had.
Masks are required within. Food is cooked and ready with-in 20 mins.
I ordered mines To-Go & it was so good I had to come back the next day and order another plate.

Walked in and thought we were at the wrong place.
It’s a super small shop with an open kitchen.
Food was excellent, everything tasted incredibly fresh and you could tell it was being made right then and there from the salads to the meat.
Mon-Thur they also had a 20% off for dine in.
10/10 would go back for meat platter and salad

I order takeout often. The food is always great. I’ve never eaten in the restaurant. It’s a small cozy space, looks fine and they’re always playing good music, I just prefer takeout since I’m around the corner and usually solo. I do think they get tons of delivery orders and wait times tend to be a bit long but I just factor that in when I order. I think if you’re eating in they probably would prioritize your order but don’t really know.

We were there on a Wednesday night and we're the only ones dining in (though there were plenty of delivery pickups). Service was excellent and attentive. The vibes were impeccable.
The hummus was silky smooth and rich with tahini and the pita was thick, fluffy and warm.
My friend ordered the beef & lamb kebab, and it was stunning. It's a mix of minced breast with spices, but the Moroccan roots are strong. The texture and flavor reminded me very much of kebabs I had in Fes.
I ordered the salad sampler. The red cabbage salad was very well dressed and yummy. The Eggplant a la Yufa was every but as good as I had hoped - it managed to be lightly charred and soft whole also sliced thin and attractively presented. The chopped salad was simple buy very fresh. And then the pickles were just sliced arabic pickles, and they ended up actually complementing my friend's kebabs particularly well.
We both cleared our plates and had a wonderful time in process.

I wanted to try something different from what I usually order out for delivery. This hit the spot. Stuffed grape leaves were nice and fresh. The beet salad was also fresh and tasted good as well. Loved the humus and tahini sauce, which added a nice flavor to the chicken swarma plate. Only criticism is there wasn't enough rice. However, food is very tasty, and I would reorder these food items again.

Silver Rice has totally won me over. Tucked away in Lefferts Gardens, this little takeout-only spot doesn’t try to impress with flashy decor or over-the-top service—it just quietly delivers some of the freshest, most satisfying Japanese-inspired food around. The vibe is no-frills, the service is efficient (they’ve got to keep up with a nonstop stream of delivery orders), but the food? Pure gold.
I started with the Harvest Bowl, which they describe as “a bountiful harvest of all your favorite ingredients,” and that’s exactly what it felt like. Unagi, Spicy Tuna, Salmon, Ikura, Crab, Avocado, Tamago, Red Pickles—it was like a greatest hits lineup, and every single bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. It’s the kind of bowl that makes You pause and appreciate how good food can be when it’s done right.
Then I tried the Piri Camote Roll—a vegetarian roll that’s absolutely packed with flavor. The sweet potato pomme purée, spicy mayo, crunchy red pickles, avocado, and cucumber all work in perfect harmony. It’s hearty, comforting, and somehow still feels fresh and light. Super delicious.
I also got the Exclusive Veggie Combo, which includes the Sunshine Slaw Roll and the Vegan Eel Roll. That Vegan Eel Roll is a standout—fried tofu with eel sauce and sliced cucumber? Brilliant. It’s rich and savory, and I genuinely didn’t miss the fish.
Even the Shrimp Dumpling Miso Soup impressed me. It’s a classic done right—warm, savory, and super comforting with tender little dumplings that soak up all that miso goodness.
Next time I go, I’m definitely getting one of their Silver Rice Cups (SRCs). They look like beautiful little mini chirashi bowls—layered with rice, vibrant toppings, and just packed with flavor. And I’ve already got my eye on their two mackerel dishes, which look seriously tempting:
•	The Negi Saba Roll, with vinegared mackerel, scallions, and sesame, looks like a perfect balance of rich and fresh.
•	The Saba Bowl, which adds ginger paste to that mix, seems like the kind of meal that hits all the right notes—savory, clean, and super satisfying.
Silver Rice may fly under the radar, but it’s got soul. If You love fresh, creative Japanese food made with care and attention to detail, this spot is a must. I’m already planning my next order.

This charming little cafe offers delicious Asian fare, perfect for takeout. While seating is limited, the quality of the food makes up for it. The rolls were flavorful and the drink was refreshing. However, the dipping sauce portions were a bit on the small side, making it difficult to thoroughly coat the rolls. Additionally, a little more wasabi and ginger would have been appreciated. Overall, a delightful option for a quick and tasty Asian food fix, but consider requesting extra sauce and condiments if you prefer a more generous dip.

Love Silver Rice. Their spicy salmon cups are so good and affordable. I’ve tried a lot of their menu and every dish is so high quality and tasty — rolls, soup, bowls, even the desserts. We also buy their soy sauce and keep some in our fridge because it’s so tasty. The staff are also super friendly, overall 10/10.

wow. Okay new sushi place I love. The food was fantastic. It felt small when the order arrived from delivery, which was really quick on Caviar/DoorDash, $36 for 3 rolls b4 taxes & fees, but really it was a significant amount of food just three rolls quite filling and incredibly tasty. I ate half before I thought to take a picture because really it was incredibly delicious.
Sept 1: ordered again tonight and very disappointed with the Oyako roll. Almost no salmon roe. See attached image from seamless menu & compare it to what I just got.

Don’t be deceived by the size and lack of ambiance of this pizzeria ! The food’s very good which is what really matters. Large fresh clams not canned, came with olive focaccia. Only thing missing in my take out order was the grated cheese, under $20.Cash only

Have lived in Brooklyn for 29 years and this is hands down the best pizza I've had in all my time in the city. The red sauce they have tastes housemade and is rich as all get out, and it makes everything from their plain and margherita slices to their red pastas👌 Speaking of pastas do not sleep on their blackened chicken alfredo or your less headass selves in all the parallel universe will be shouting at you!
The service at the pizza counter is just okay which makes sense bc they're busy as shit and they don't need you, iykyk. They have a sit -down part next door with a bar where you can go when the two (2) tables in the pizza part are in use, and the lady behind the bar is nice.

Accidentally I stumbled on to this place,my mom is the one that goes here. She constantly buys doubles for the family whenever she visits. My wife came here also a week ago.Today I was just in area and decided to get the family 7 doubles, and a chicken Roti for myself.I was surprised the chicken Roti tasted real good. The doubles as always was tasty and delicious. So if you're in this area, they are not to far from Prospect park, where Empire Blvd and Flatbush Ave intersect.

 Best Golden Krust in Brooklyn!
When I’m craving oxtail, I only want it from this location! I’m bratty about my food, especially authentic Caribbean food. This Golden Krust is hands down the best in the Brooklyn franchise. THE BEST FOOD EVER!!!!!
They’ve renovated their space to a cleaner, warmer and more inviting ambiance; added some technological advancements in the ordering and checkout process; and lead with the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced at any Jamaican take-out spot.
I don’t need attitude with my Jamaican food for it to be authentic. Matter of fact, I prefer good energy with my food. You are guaranteed the best service and they often exceed your expectations. Now, if perhaps you do get some attitude, I would suggest an internal check. Because this team is top notch!
Do you see how they wrapped my food in plastic to avoid spillage and the extra gravy?!?!?! C’mon man!!! This is Heaven!
Ask for Devon and tell him Jay sent you!
Get the oxtail! TRUST ME!!!!

I’ve enjoyed a many meals from this location. My favorite part about this restaurant are the employees. These are some of the calmest, caring and gentle workers I’ve met in the food industry. They always appear polite and ask for clarity. If they ever make a mistake, they apologize and make it right. My recommendation for management is to utilize the glass covers (transparent ) for the food. Having the food in the open leaves room for microorganism to enter as well as dry the moisture out of the food. There is a barrier between customers and the food, which is a great addition. The restaurant is always clean and calm. I see great things for this location. All the best.

I have lived in the neighborhood for 26 years and have know this restaurant from then to now the food has always been delicious the lady is very nice and she remembers who you are even if you call on the phone I have seen her kids grow up when they would be here the menu now has many new and exciting dishes my person favorite has been the house special fry rice you get a bet of pork, chicken, shrimps and beef you add some soy sauce and hot sauce and it's an instant plate for dinner or shrimp fry rice I personally pay for the large shrimps rather than the small. My husband likes the fry pork chops and yes I have taken a few bites from him, but my new thing now is the steam shrimp dumplings oh boy and with the sauce they give you its oh la la but my secret is before I add the sauce I cut them in half so it really soaks up the sauce. Look if you're in the mood try any of my favorites or seek out what you like as I said the menu has new dishes and their food is delicious they also do delivery or if your like me and live close by its and easy pick up.

NEW Review - Reduced my review after visiting. Restaurant needs a deep clean overhaul. It's shockingly glum and filthy. Not a restaurant I would trust or patronize from walking by. When ordered delivery, food was always delicious and fresh. However, seeing how unsanitary and gloomy the place feels, won't order again.
OLD Review - A relative ordered delivery, so can't attest to the condition or smell of restaurant. I had brown fried rice, broccoli, and sauce ($7.50). Delivered quickly and tasted delicious - fresh and nicely flavored.
