4 Star Rating This is clearly a more takeout focused restaurant (at least to me), so the interior dine in area was relatively small and the lighting was a little bit jarring. As for the food, it was overall pretty good. My only complaints would be that the samosas were a little dry and the mixed meat biryani lacked a bit of seasoning, but it's something the complimentary condiments could easily fix. The lamb tikka masala was delicious and perfectly spiced, and the basmati had a hint of coconut and paired well with the tikka masala. The garlic naan was very well made and was flavorful as well. Service was good, the man working there was friendly. Overall, a good experience with good food.

5 Star Rating Best restaurant in PLG, and here’s why: It’s never too busy in here - because so many people order this food to their homes. The service is always so welcoming, you feel like you’re visiting with family. There is so much good food to choose from, and they never disappoint. One time I was there and asked for a special side to come with my main course - which wasn’t on the menu, and they just cooked it for me in the spot. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

2 Star Rating Got vegetable biryani from here for $13. Price wise it’s a deal. It was a takeout. By the time the biryani reached its destination the plastic bag was full of oil. On top of that it tasted sweet and non-spicy with cashews, resins, big piece of cucumber and carrot. I have never tasted any biryani so bland and oily. Won’t recommend this place to vegetarians.

5 Star Rating Delicious! We got the curry special dinner for 1. It was a fun way to try multiple menu items! We also split the one between two people and it was enough for us and extremely affordable. The Mulligatawny soup was the best soup I’ve had in a long time—a must get! Naan was soft, hot, and delicious. The do-piaz curry was also very good. Comfortable indoor seating. Update: Forgot my card here and they held onto it safely and gave me free soup! 10/10 would recommend!

5 Star Rating Ever since Gandhi restaurant closed in our neighborhood (RIP), this has been our go-to Indian place. While we usually do take out, we’ve dined in before and the staff is professional and kind. Love their chicken biryani and the samosas are great as well, but everything we’ve ordered from KOT has been delicious.

5 Star Rating Hidden Gem! Worth the trip! Came for the steamed whiting , fried rice and plantain. The dish was made to perfection. Best place in brooklyn for seafood on the go! They have healthier like veggie rice and mixed veggies as a side. Order for pickup it takes a while they look short staffed but worth the wait.

2 Star Rating First time ordering from here. It was from ubereats. I liked the variety in the sides they give you. I ordered salmon, fried rice and rasta pasta. The fried rice didn't look and taste like any I ever had. The rasta pasta was also dry. The food also was bland. However I did like the sauce they put in the bag which made it stand out. I'm curious as to what it was. It's not the pepper sauce.

4 Star Rating This was very satisfying. Oversized fries, jumbo shrimp season to perfection with dipping sauce and hand made hot sauce. You won't be disappointed. They would have gotten five stars but their efficiency needs fine tuning. The spot is small so you can forget dining in. The payment system is on par with today tech so you can print a receipt or have it emailed. Call ahead of time to help expedite your orders, because the place is business.

4 Star Rating I wanted to try something different from what I usually order out for delivery. This hit the spot. Stuffed grape leaves were nice and fresh. The beet salad was also fresh and tasted good as well. Loved the humus and tahini sauce, which added a nice flavor to the chicken swarma plate. Only criticism is there wasn't enough rice. However, food is very tasty, and I would reorder these food items again.

5 Star Rating The best falafel I've eaten in this neighborhood. They no longer have indoor seating, so it's kinda awful to dine outside while it's so cold out. I'd recommend ordering ahead or get a take out. Service is relatively slow since they always seem to have orders coming in.

5 Star Rating The most wonderful experience today. I showed up with my hungry visiting family and although they were still 30 min from opening, the owner and chef did his best to get us set up outside in the lovely outdoor area as soon as possible. The friendly chef/owner personally took our orders and was so helpful in helping every person get what they wanted. Everything we ordered was spectacular, and very generous portions too. We got the chicken shawarma platter, 2 sabikh/borekka orders, a falafel pita, shakshuka with merguez and a side of cheese borekas. All were amazing and I would easily order any of them again, and the various members of the group who are pickier were also happy, a miracle. I eat a lot of Mediterranean food so was expecting something more standard, but the chef did some fun spins on the traditional and really excelled. Flavors and quality all exceeded expectations, and in a pleasant atmosphere with the best service. I don't live nearby, but definitely plan on making a special trip to come back. Thank you once again for being so helpful and accommodating and for making such wonderful food!!

5 Star Rating Ordered some chicken skewers for pickup and the food was fantastic. I can't remember the last time I had such big white meat skewers that weren't dry. I love how it was flavorful but not too salty. You definitely get a lot of food. The cucumber salad was on the salty side. Looked like there was several tables in a cute outdoor space on the street as well.

5 Star Rating This charming little cafe offers delicious Asian fare, perfect for takeout. While seating is limited, the quality of the food makes up for it. The rolls were flavorful and the drink was refreshing. However, the dipping sauce portions were a bit on the small side, making it difficult to thoroughly coat the rolls. Additionally, a little more wasabi and ginger would have been appreciated. Overall, a delightful option for a quick and tasty Asian food fix, but consider requesting extra sauce and condiments if you prefer a more generous dip.

4 Star Rating We've gotten delivery a few times. I always get the Pollo Inferno which comes in a super good and weird (in the best possible way) balsamic vinegar and cherry pepper sauce. It also comes with mashed potatoes and broccoli sides. My partner gets caprese salad with a side of meatballs which is good too. I'm taking off one point because the fried Zucchini had a bunch of lemon wedges shoved on top in the take out container so that when that dish came, a lot of it was soggy and had an overwhelming lemon taste. Still, I totally recommend this Gino's (which taste-wise I prefer to the much more famous Gino's in Bay Ridge)

2 Star Rating They refused to acknowledge their credit card machine malfunction at first. After repeatedly charging my card 3 extra times (refunded me for 2 of those times, I didn’t want to come in again to pick up the last cash refund) it finally worked. The manager apologized for an employee blatantly yelling at me “don’t play with me ms.” for the credit card issue. I was shocked, appalled, disrespected, and understandably frightened by this behavior. I will not be returning to this establishment.

5 Star Rating First time trying doubles, got regular and shrimp with everything on it, $8 total, $2 for the regular I believe. Amazing stuff. First time Trinidadian food also, glad I came here after a day at the gardens!!! If I lived close by I'd get 2 or maybe 10 to bring home! Chickpeas were fresh, sauce had a little heat, the shrimp tender and everything tasted great! Highly recommend this place, 10/10. No experience with any other Caribbean food and was gonna eat elsewhere so couldn't really order the rotis, but that also looked great!

3 Star Rating One of the best places to get doubles. However, their customer service is terrible. I wasn’t aware that certain add ons were extra and instead of letting the customer know that. They just added it on without telling me. When I went to pay my total was $5 more than I expected so I told them I’ll just take two doubles off my order. That created a big problem and the treatment I received was disgusting especially being that I’ve came here many other times in the past. I will no longer be spending my money here until the Indian man and lady learn to have better customer service. That’s not how you treat loyal customers. The black man there too needs to learn that as well. Without your customers you don’t have a business just remember that.

2 Star Rating I cannot tell you the amount of times I have ordered on the website or Uber Eats and got wrong orders. I either got someone else's order, or staff does not follow dietary instructions, or a few items are missing. Ineptness occurs pretty often. I don't know if certain items are out of stock and they just don't include the item or staff is just not great at fulfilling orders. And it seems the same issue happens in person. ALWAYS thoroughly check your order before leaving no matter how simple it is. Even if it's just a beverage you asked for, check it to be sure they fulfilled the order correctly. The staff need to work on fulfilling orders accurately. Rating for Food is a 2 because they could possibly mess up your order (missing/wrong items, missing ingredients or wrong ingredients altogether). Rating for Service is a 3 because while staff are nice in person, they lack skills to fulfill delivery orders. That is a big deal considering there are customers who were looking forward to what they had requested. Rating for Atmosphere is a 5 because the establishment seems to be kept fairly clean.

5 Star Rating I have lived in the neighborhood for 26 years and have know this restaurant from then to now the food has always been delicious the lady is very nice and she remembers who you are even if you call on the phone I have seen her kids grow up when they would be here the menu now has many new and exciting dishes my person favorite has been the house special fry rice you get a bet of pork, chicken, shrimps and beef you add some soy sauce and hot sauce and it's an instant plate for dinner or shrimp fry rice I personally pay for the large shrimps rather than the small. My husband likes the fry pork chops and yes I have taken a few bites from him, but my new thing now is the steam shrimp dumplings oh boy and with the sauce they give you its oh la la but my secret is before I add the sauce I cut them in half so it really soaks up the sauce. Look if you're in the mood try any of my favorites or seek out what you like as I said the menu has new dishes and their food is delicious they also do delivery or if your like me and live close by its and easy pick up.

5 Star Rating A Transformative Journey at Gaia Nomaya Salt Cave and Yoga Spa Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️ (5/5) I recently had the pleasure of visiting Gaia Nomaya Salt Cave and Yoga Spa, and I must say, it was an experience like no other. From the moment I stepped foot into the spa, I knew I was in for something truly special. The journey began with an enchanting cacao ceremony led by a knowledgeable and compassionate instructor. The ceremony served as a beautiful introduction, allowing us to open our hearts and connect with ourselves and those around us. The guided meditation and breathwork exercises were truly transformative, and I found myself releasing a flood of emotions that had been bottled up for far too long. It was a cathartic experience that left me feeling lighter and more connected to my inner self. The salt cave at Gaia Nomaya is a true sanctuary of tranquility. As I entered the cave, I was immediately enveloped in a sense of calm and serenity. The walls, made entirely of Himalayan salt, emitted a soothing energy that seemed to cleanse both my body and mind. I spent time meditating and practicing yoga in this serene environment, and it was a truly rejuvenating experience. The combination of the salt-infused air and the gentle sound of flowing water created a peaceful ambiance that allowed me to fully relax and let go of any stress or tension. The spa also offers a range of other services, including various yoga classes and holistic treatments. The instructors and therapists are highly skilled and passionate about their craft, ensuring that each session is tailored to the individual's needs. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, there is a class for everyone at Gaia Nomaya. The yoga studio itself is spacious and well-equipped, providing a comfortable and inviting space to practice. In addition to the exceptional services, the staff at Gaia Nomaya are warm, welcoming, and attentive. From the moment I arrived, I felt like a valued guest. They went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Overall, my visit to Gaia Nomaya Salt Cave and Yoga Spa was a truly transformative journey. The cacao ceremony, the salt cave, and the yoga classes all contributed to a profound sense of relaxation, healing, and self-discovery. I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and with a renewed sense of inner peace. If you're looking for a unique and transformative spa experience, I highly recommend Gaia Nomaya Salt Cave and Yoga Spa. It is truly a hidden gem that will leave you feeling nourished in mind, body, and soul.

5 Star Rating I went to Gaia Nomaya for their spa experience, which included the salt cave, infrared sauna, red light therapy and steam sauna. I had the most relaxing and healing time! I went on a Friday afternoon, so it was empty and I had the whole place to myself. Meditating in the salt cave was a lovely experience and I really enjoyed the different saunas. Unfortunately the cold plunge pool wasn't working when I went, but it was still a great experience. The service was excellent, everyone was super kind and friendly, I loved the vibe, and I walked away glowing and feeling like I was floating on air! Thank you for the much needed self-care day. Looking forward to coming back and trying out the restaurant as well!

2 Star Rating I don't like to write negative reviews but it's time. I've been to a handful of events at GN and have each time been baffled by the space. It looks great in pictures and attracts awesome musicians, etc. but it's just not a functional business. The first time I attended an event here there were no lights in the bathrooms and everyone had to use phone flashlights to see. Another time I ordered a cacao and the person behind the counter had no idea how to make it. They have cacao ceremonies regularly so you'd think the people would know how to prepare it. There were other nit-picky issues but I let it all pass in favor of having access to the types of events they host. Yesterday broke me. I showed up to attend an all day, $250 workshop. We were ALL locked out. It wasn't just the people attending the workshop and its organizers but also the folks attending a yoga class at the same time. I talked to one of the yoga folks who said that the person who leads the class is often late leaving them standing outside the venue. For the workshop, the organizers booked the space starting at 9 am. We eventually got into the space at almost 10 for something that was supposed to have begun at 9:30 and then had to wait an additional 30 minutes while the organizers setup the space. Logistics aside, the space was dirty. There are carpets over much of the floor in the event space. People wear shoes, sweat, have food and drink on those carpets and it shows. Every event I've attended there necessitated sitting or lying on the dirty floor and has resulted in dirty clothes. Also, the sinks are designed so that you get soaked with water from the waste down unless you stand totally to the side while washing your hands. I didn't have any of the food or drinks because I tried them in the past and wasn't thrilled with either the quality, service or price. Yesterday I brought my own lunch and ate in the park during the break. I wish GN was half of what it presents itself as. It's really too bad.

5 Star Rating Love this place. I ate full of energy Lentil soup, magically Portobello Mushroom Empanada and wonderful Cilantro dip. You can see how yummy it was. Highly recommend this place for people who have a good taste.
