This is my favorite Indian restaurant in all of Brooklyn! From the moment I walked in, everyone was super friendly and welcoming.
I ordered the beef curry lunch special and it was absolutely delicious! I asked for it to be a little spicy and they made it perfect. The garlic naan was phenomenal too — fresh, soft, and full of flavor. 👏 👏 👏 🤤😚
After I finished everything, I tried their coffee and even that was great. I walked out feeling like a champion 🥳🏆😎
If you want real comfort food that tastes like it was made with love, check this place out. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤩😋

The food was fresh and absolutely delicious! It hit the spot and I will come back for sure to try more of their menu. Great service, too!

This is clearly a more takeout focused restaurant (at least to me), so the interior dine in area was relatively small and the lighting was a little bit jarring.
As for the food, it was overall pretty good. My only complaints would be that the samosas were a little dry and the mixed meat biryani lacked a bit of seasoning, but it's something the complimentary condiments could easily fix.
The lamb tikka masala was delicious and perfectly spiced, and the basmati had a hint of coconut and paired well with the tikka masala. The garlic naan was very well made and was flavorful as well.
Service was good, the man working there was friendly.
Overall, a good experience with good food.

This place is consistently good. Their butter chicken, biriyani & tikka masala are always a must. They also have great mango lassy. You can take out or dine in. For take out, they are often busy so the wait can be around 30 minutes but its worth it.

A friend recommended King of Tandoor, and I was a tad doubtful it would hit my spice preference. It’s a cozy, ‘typical’ NYC Indian spot, and while I was right about the spice level for the chicken vindaloo, my friend was right to recommend this place. I don’t read menus at Indian spots. I just order Chicken Vindaloo spicy and if I’m hungry, I get samosas and garlic naan. I got it all today. And when I asked the waiter about the spice level, he told me it wouldn’t be spicy enough. I asked if he could give me something to make it spicier like green chilies and he just smiled and said, “I got you”. Wow did he. He brought out a jar of his personal favorite spicy sauce (Mr. Naga - I’m buying this as soon as I can!) and some green chilies. The spice level was absolutely perfect (which would probably be way more heat than most people enjoy). The waiter was so kind and helpful. He turned my experience into a great moment. Would highly recommend. And talk to your waiter! Ask questions. You’ll be happy you did.

Oh boy, look, if you're in the mood for that Cajun taste, go to Popeyes and set your taste buds alive with flavor. This Popeyes has friendly workers and is clean with a few tables and chairs for if you want to hide and eat so your family won't know you without them (😊) or you can take it home either way go and enjoy. I am happy that I went and decided to go through the app, so I got 6 wings combo plus 6 wings for $1.00 extra +tax as usual.

The chicken sandwich was very tasty and crispy. The bun was good and the sauces work well with the chicken and toppings. The cajun fries are just delicious! The place was very clean and tidy, yet with a slight smell of frying that sticks to the cloths.

I have dined at Kulushkat since they’ve opened in my neighborhood and they continue to satisfy and impress me every time. The food is delicious and the service is warm and friendly. I can honestly say I have never been disappointed. Kulushkat is consistently delicious and in my opinion, the best restaurant in the Prospect Lefferts Garden neighborhood.

As some other reviews noted, delivery time was longer than it probably should’ve been.
Food was delicious though. It must be noted that the “seasoned fries” are hotter than buffalo wings, I’m sweating as I type this.
Matt Tompkins - 4 months ago
I wanted to try something different from what I usually order out for delivery. This hit the spot. Stuffed grape leaves were nice and fresh. The beet salad was also fresh and tasted good as well. Loved the humus and tahini sauce, which added a nice flavor to the chicken swarma plate. Only criticism is there wasn't enough rice. However, food is very tasty, and I would reorder these food items again.

Spicy salmon roll, seaweed salad..it’s all amazing. Nice vegan/veg options (Green Day bowl is great) sometimes I grab a daifuku..

First time here, sat down at the counter. The service was excellent. As soon as we sat down the food came immediately. We ate the 100% real crab California roll and the spicy salmon roll and the dumpling miso soup. The food was incredible. My little brother advises for little kids to avoid the wasabi and ginger. They held the vanilla ice cream with sprinkles until after we ate our sushi. It was still cold (rock solid) but it was fantastic. The sprinkles were perfect.

wow. Okay new sushi place I love. The food was fantastic. It felt small when the order arrived from delivery, which was really quick on Caviar/DoorDash, $36 for 3 rolls b4 taxes & fees, but really it was a significant amount of food just three rolls quite filling and incredibly tasty. I ate half before I thought to take a picture because really it was incredibly delicious.
Sept 1: ordered again tonight and very disappointed with the Oyako roll. Almost no salmon roe. See attached image from seamless menu & compare it to what I just got.

Silver Rice has totally won me over. Tucked away in Lefferts Gardens, this little takeout-only spot doesn’t try to impress with flashy decor or over-the-top service—it just quietly delivers some of the freshest, most satisfying Japanese-inspired food around. The vibe is no-frills, the service is efficient (they’ve got to keep up with a nonstop stream of delivery orders), but the food? Pure gold.
I started with the Harvest Bowl, which they describe as “a bountiful harvest of all your favorite ingredients,” and that’s exactly what it felt like. Unagi, Spicy Tuna, Salmon, Ikura, Crab, Avocado, Tamago, Red Pickles—it was like a greatest hits lineup, and every single bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. It’s the kind of bowl that makes You pause and appreciate how good food can be when it’s done right.
Then I tried the Piri Camote Roll—a vegetarian roll that’s absolutely packed with flavor. The sweet potato pomme purée, spicy mayo, crunchy red pickles, avocado, and cucumber all work in perfect harmony. It’s hearty, comforting, and somehow still feels fresh and light. Super delicious.
I also got the Exclusive Veggie Combo, which includes the Sunshine Slaw Roll and the Vegan Eel Roll. That Vegan Eel Roll is a standout—fried tofu with eel sauce and sliced cucumber? Brilliant. It’s rich and savory, and I genuinely didn’t miss the fish.
Even the Shrimp Dumpling Miso Soup impressed me. It’s a classic done right—warm, savory, and super comforting with tender little dumplings that soak up all that miso goodness.
Next time I go, I’m definitely getting one of their Silver Rice Cups (SRCs). They look like beautiful little mini chirashi bowls—layered with rice, vibrant toppings, and just packed with flavor. And I’ve already got my eye on their two mackerel dishes, which look seriously tempting:
• The Negi Saba Roll, with vinegared mackerel, scallions, and sesame, looks like a perfect balance of rich and fresh.
• The Saba Bowl, which adds ginger paste to that mix, seems like the kind of meal that hits all the right notes—savory, clean, and super satisfying.
Silver Rice may fly under the radar, but it’s got soul. If You love fresh, creative Japanese food made with care and attention to detail, this spot is a must. I’m already planning my next order.

This charming little cafe offers delicious Asian fare, perfect for takeout. While seating is limited, the quality of the food makes up for it. The rolls were flavorful and the drink was refreshing. However, the dipping sauce portions were a bit on the small side, making it difficult to thoroughly coat the rolls. Additionally, a little more wasabi and ginger would have been appreciated. Overall, a delightful option for a quick and tasty Asian food fix, but consider requesting extra sauce and condiments if you prefer a more generous dip.

We had a great experience, stopping in here to grab a pizza. We got a half pepperoni half cheese pizza and it was a figure around $17. The pizza came out within 1015 minutes and we were able to eat it on the tables that were inside the shop. There is not a lot of seating so it’s not a great place to sit down and eat but definitely a great spot if you wanna grab something and take it with you.

The best Dunkin in Brooklyn. I drive out of my way to come here. They’re consistent and fast. And the workers are so NICE. I don’t know why all Dunkins can’t be like this. Look at how much cookie crumbs they put on my coffee. Other Dunkins aren’t like this. Only this one.

Best Golden Krust in Brooklyn!
When I’m craving oxtail, I only want it from this location! I’m bratty about my food, especially authentic Caribbean food. This Golden Krust is hands down the best in the Brooklyn franchise. THE BEST FOOD EVER!!!!!
They’ve renovated their space to a cleaner, warmer and more inviting ambiance; added some technological advancements in the ordering and checkout process; and lead with the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced at any Jamaican take-out spot.
I don’t need attitude with my Jamaican food for it to be authentic. Matter of fact, I prefer good energy with my food. You are guaranteed the best service and they often exceed your expectations. Now, if perhaps you do get some attitude, I would suggest an internal check. Because this team is top notch!
Do you see how they wrapped my food in plastic to avoid spillage and the extra gravy?!?!?! C’mon man!!! This is Heaven!
Ask for Devon and tell him Jay sent you!
Get the oxtail! TRUST ME!!!!

Hit and miss; great food and all but they NEVER WANT TO GIVE EXTRA GRAVY ALWAYS HAVING AN ATTITUDE. LIKE DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW DRY THE RICE IS? MIND YOU THE WHOLE PAN DEM HAVE MORE GRAVY THAN MEAT ! I PREFER THE ONE IN THE CITY; THEY’RE FRIENDLY AND UNDERSTAND THE NEED FOR GRAVY.

I’ve enjoyed a many meals from this location. My favorite part about this restaurant are the employees. These are some of the calmest, caring and gentle workers I’ve met in the food industry. They always appear polite and ask for clarity. If they ever make a mistake, they apologize and make it right. My recommendation for management is to utilize the glass covers (transparent ) for the food. Having the food in the open leaves room for microorganism to enter as well as dry the moisture out of the food. There is a barrier between customers and the food, which is a great addition. The restaurant is always clean and calm. I see great things for this location. All the best.

TL;DR version- Some high highs and some very low lows. Hot Figs was a fun app. By a mile, the soups were the favorites, so I would recommend the Pepián or Caldo Tlalpeño Rojo. Nice happy hour and a large chocolate drink selection. As per usual, removed some of the extra things in this review from the start due to space
There were a few nice hot sauces on the table, with the red one reminding me of salsa macha as it had a smoky kick and a spicier green sauce reminiscent of ají verde. They gave us some complimentary blue corn chips and a very mild black bean dip, which was tasty enough and hard to complain about, as it was free.
From the appetizers, we got the Hot Figs for $15.95, consisting of honey goat cheese, corn tortilla chips, and plum + pumpkin seeds. This was a unique and fun blend and reminded me more of something you would find in a wine bar. The mix of sweet and salty, with a bit of crunch from the seeds, was nice. This was good, and I would recommend it for a table rather than for a solo diner. There was also The Zingy Salad for $21.95, featuring zucchini spirals, yuzu, tomato, onion, cilantro, pumpkin seeds, and a jalapeño infusion. $18.95. The salad was fine with a bit of crunch and a mild spiciness. It was fine, though a bit wet, for lack of a better word.
The best dishes of the night were the soups, which each had its own distinct flavor profile. My sight presence went to the Pepián for $21.95, consisting of chicken, pumpkin/sesame seeds, green tomatillo, cinnamon, cumin, black pepper, carrots, chili coban/pasta/guaque, and potato + rice. There was plenty of tender chicken inside, with the soup having a nice roasted flavor with some spice and a bit of sourness. The potatoes and rice on the bottom added more sustenance to this dish.
Almost equally delicious was the Caldo Tlalpeño Rojo for a dollar more with shredded chicken, tomato, black pepper, garlic, onions, peas, chickpeas, corn, achiote, chipotle, Monterey jack cheese, and crunchy blue corn tortilla chips. By comparison, this was a bit heartier, with the melted cheese and shredded tortilla chips inside, similar to soups found in Mexican cuisine. While I also liked the mix of veggies a bit more in this one, as it added a bit more texture, I still slightly preferred the flavor of the other soup, as I usually prefer a bit more spice.
The rest of the food was fine. The TPC sandwich for $19.95 with chicken, peanut butter, coconut cream, ginger, cilantro, pickled carrots, and lime was fine. For the number of ingredients, I found it a bit sweet, likely from the cream and the peanut butter mix. The bread was nice, but it also fell apart. It came with a nice side salad with a good vinaigrette. The most expensive at $24.95 were the Slow Cooked BBQ Ribs, consisting of baby back ribs with rice and beans. The ribs were almost a bit too tender as they lacked any bite, which was nice, but the sauce was a bit too generic tasting, reminding me of Sweet Baby Ray's or something similar. The rice and beans were standard. This was also OK.
Next came some dessert. There was first the $12.95 Rosemary Churros served with dulce de leche & chocolate dips. While I'm not sure if it worked, the rosemary did add a unique smell and a bit of flavor, and at least it wasn't generic. The churros themselves were hot, and the sauces were standard, with my preference being the dulce de leche. I also ordered a Champurrado for $7.95, which was fine. It wasn't as thick as I expected, though perhaps the style is a bit different than the champurrados I rarely buy from Mexican street carts. The chocolate flavor was very nice, though, and I like that it wasn't too sweet. Another person got a $4 Alfajor, which I got a bite of, which was standard.
This place is a bit hard to rate. The two soups were wonderful, I liked the appetizers, and I found a couple of the other dishes just OK. Overall, it was a good meal, but I'm not craving to go back. This would be the perfect 3.5, but I'll round up as that doesn't exist.

We were supposed to go somewhere else on the same street but the line was long and we ended up at IX. I’m so glad we stayed, ate and weren’t rushed. Had amazing service even though it was a busy evening. Our server was Ricardo, he was so kind and gave us information about the food and the restaurant. Will definitely be back!

Ordered Pepian which tasted alright, but there were not enough tortillas or rice to properly accompany it. So, I am docking for the quantity of tortillas...2 thin blue tortillas per person. I went with a Guatemalan and he was not impressed with the amount of tortillas. :(
So, don't do there without your own extra tortillas.

Amazing spot right between Flatbush and prospect park! Service was absolutely amazing - the team went above and beyond to make us happy & comfortable! Stews and sandwiches were top tier. The appetizers were our absolute favorite - crazy corn and tortillas with a garlic cheese dip. Coffees and desserts are a must after your meal!

If you’ve always wanted to travel to Guatemala, IX Restaurant serves truly authentic Guatemalan food that will make you feel like you teleported to Guatemala with every bite.
As soon as I walked in the vibes, music, and energy put me in a good mood.
What really sets IX apart, though, is the service. The staff is incredibly warm, attentive, and welcoming. In just my second visit they truly make you feel like part of the family. Between the authentic food, the energetic atmosphere, and the top-notch hospitality, [and the fact my food arrived quickly - I prdered El Patron Burrito] IX Restaurant is a place that inspires you to come back to try every dish. I'm already scanning the menu to plan my third visit.

Aquí Excellent bar and restaurant; the food is very good, and the service is friendly, respectful, and attentive. But the best part is the bar—the bartender is very friendly and always serves you with good humor and a helpful attitude, and he makes delicious cocktails. I love them! I always prefer to let him surprise me with one because I never know which to choose; they’re exquisite.
The atmosphere is super cool, especially on karaoke and live music nights.

Had a work holiday party here. The service was great and so is the eclectic atmosphere. We split chicken nachos amongst six people and they were pretty good and very loaded with pico, sour cream, and guac. I’m not dying to go back but I wouldn’t have ordered differently. We also split some wings but they were cold and not that great.

got the taquitos, azteca tacos with barbacoa , and el patron burrito. food was good but wasn’t outstanding. the taquitos were my favorite out of the three but the shell was a bit hard to chew. the burrito was MASSIVE and could feed 2 people easily. the tacos came with a green sauce which was amazing, but the tacos were wet? not really juicy, or saucy, just wet…
we arrived near opening and there was only one person serving as host and server. this wasn’t an issue for us at all but our food did take a long time despite the restaurant not being too full
