The concept behind the restaurant is very very cool, and walking through the bar area into the back room you really do feel like you’re about to get locked into a vault. There were tons of small details to give the restaurant an original bank feel, including a giant class that had shredded money in it. The ambiance was great, the food was just fine. We ordered the tuna and salmon tartar and hummus to start. Neither were anything original or out of this world. For dinner we got the wagyu burger and the duck risotto. The burger was a regular burger, and we have another place downtown that had a better quality, lower price so I wouldn’t recommend. The duck was quite nice, and the risotto had plenty of mushrooms in it, but the duck portion was a bit small compared to the risotto.
all in all the dinner was fine.

Super cool venue - Excellent service, young lady server was absolutely delightful
Wagyu burger was fantastic - not so keen on my potatoes...
Tasty bottle of wine accompanied the meal perfectly
Great place and would definitely visit again

I can highly recommend this place if you want to have dinner in a special location! The food is also really good. The menu is not that big but perfectly fine. Also the dishes are not super big but the taste is outstanding!
The service was perfect! I would recommend a reservation if you want to go there with a bigger group

For the price, this is a great place. The decor is gorgeous, and the menu affordable yet high class and well-done: high-quality ingredients cooked well. The only real criticism I have is the fries were mediocre.

Mexican is not one of my favorite genres, and it's primarily because the combo of my texture-based palate and the crunchy shizzle that hangs out in a lot of the food isn't an ideal fit. If I like a Mexican place, it's usually because it's very, very simple/no frills, and that's Tajin in a nutshell. I came here with my Skipper for lunch on Friday, which was a miserable rainy day, the kind where you're venturing out MAYBE one or two blocks from the office. The walk from the office took approximately three minutes, and we were able to get inside with minimal dampness.
I don't think it would be fair to call Tajin a dive; (the Skipper might disagree based on her recounting of a horrendous bathroom visit) but it's a pretty basic interior, with some sugar skull-esque art on the wall, and almost a diner vibe when it came to some of the tables/seating. We sat towards the back, which had a view of the bar area where the waitstaff lingered, making it very easy to get someone's attention for a drink, the check, etc.
This might not be a selling point for a ton of people, but I was THRILLED to look over, say, the quesadilla section of the menu and see two or three ingredients per item. You start to lose me at a certain point when the items are covered in peppers, onions, etc., so when I saw that the chicken quesadilla contained nothing but chicken and cheese, I didn't hesitate. The quesadilla showed up within a few minutes, and hit the spot. As you can see from the attached, it came with a small pile of guac on the top, which I spread around the top. The guac was a LITTLE crunchy for my taste, but was relatively smooth. Definitely some solid comfort food on a day where I barely remembered what the sun looked like.
I also ordered a few passion fruit margaritas; the Skipper is far more educated about these matters and recommended I get the tajin rim (I of course obliviously went into this place not knowing what Tajin meant) which jived perfectly with the drink - nice little nip to go with the sweet. I'm pretty ambivalent about margs, having had a ton of bad ones that practically sent me into insulin shock, so it's always a pleasant surprise when someone mixes them properly and you don't end up crashing later. It was light and tasty, and I'd absolutely get it again.
This is probably two or three blocks from a pretty hardcore touristy area, but it certainly gets some of that foot traffic. As a result, they could definitely charge more for the food/drinks but I thought it was very reasonable for the neighborhood. The Skipper had a glass of wine that was $9, the margs were $12, and my quesadilla was around $13, I believe. Given that there are nearby restaurants that unhesitatingly offer $40/$50 entrees, you could do a lot worse to your wallet if you wanted to.
We're adding this one to the list for future visits. Convenient, cheap and tasty.

Lovely little spot with plenty of character! We stopped in for brunch and left very satisfied. Fair prices and the workers made me feel welcomed from the minute I stepped in. The girlfriend is vegan which can be a nightmare when eating out. However, they are very accommodating with the menu and she was able to eat. The meal was worth every dollar. Ivan, our server, was wonderful and very helpful. Do yourself a favor and stop by if you're in the area!

Authentic Mexican food!! This restaurant is around the corner from the 1 Train and R/W stop off the Rector street stop. The food is pretty authentic. I ordered take out but I have dined her before. This has been around for some time so they are doing something right! Service was quick and very friendly! Definitely highly recommend this place!! Check them out!!

Stopped by on a friday evening for a small bite. The guacamole and chips were good, and so was the Sangria. The waiters stopped by several times to make sure we were OK. The music playing(salsa) was great. The restaurant was crowded and that made the experience a plus.

A no frills restaurant run by lovely people that we were happy to chance upon having exited the subway on our way back to the hotel 23rd Dec. I'm generally ambivalent to Mexican food but thoroughly enjoyed this. Lovely owners.

This is, in my opinion, the best restaurant south of Chambers Street. We live nearby and it has increased our quality of life more than we can say. We go all the time now. It is comfortable, the food is EXCELLENT - every time! The service is always very attentive. Even the music is great - when we go in the morning it's Frank Sinatra, when we go in the evening it's this great mix of 80's New Wave. The atmosphere is fun, but with cozy booths. There is even an outdoor area if you want to eat outside. The brunch here is OUTRAGEOUSLY good. Try the eggs benedict or the french toast. For dinner they have an aged burger that can't be beat and the ravioli is to die for. We love it!

The food and ambience are really excellent. We sat on the 2nd floor and our service was really good. Starting from the bread to the entrees to the drinks, everything was perfect. We came for a corporate dinner and all of us were really impressed. Try the mashed potatoes with jalapenos, it was so smooth and rich in flavor. Actually all the food is really well prepared. Try this place and you won't regret it one bit.

I had previously eaten at BLT steak, so I knew I was in for a good meal when I came here for lunch. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful blue cheese burger, with mac and cheese, and steak frites respectively. Even though the food was delicious the lunch menu could use a little bit more variety in the appetizer department. Service and decor were just fine as well, but definitely come here for the food.

We had a work outing with a group of 10. We made our reservation ahead of time, had virtually no wait. Never had to wait for drinks or service, decor was very modern. I tried the special which was the Delmonico steak with grilled bone marrow- one of the best meals I have ever had, I highly recommend BLT Bar & Grill to anyone looking for a great meal in the financial district.

Somewhat upscale not snooty. The portions are generous. The menu items are traditional American bar & grill items, but they are cooked and served well. **The complimentary popovers are to die for!!** Crispy on the outside, hot and buttery on the inside. A detail like this makes BLT Bar & Grill worthy of a 5th star!

My fiance and I decided to grab breakfast at George's yesterday before our visit to the Statue of Liberty, and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. We were seated promptly upon arrival.
The diner certainly had an authentic New York City vibe, and it was bustling with locals, which added to the charm. I opted for one of the classic egg dishes, while my fiance had the the red velvet pancakes. Both dishes were not only fantastic value for money but also tasted delicious. We were thoroughly satisfied with our choices.
While the potatoes served with the breakfast were something I hadn’t tried before, I would say I personally prefer the more traditional hash browns. However, this was a minor preference, and it didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of our meal.
The service was excellent, and the staff made us feel welcomed and attended to throughout our meal. Without a doubt, the food was great, and we would highly recommend George's to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic NYC breakfast experience.

Me and my husband visited George's while on our trip to NYC. It was super busy, we probably waited to be seated for about 25 minutes. The waiter took a while to order our food but once he did, the food came out pretty quickly. The breakfast was pretty good compared to some other locations we've gone through in NYC. But outside of NYC, there are better locations, such as Cracker Barrel. I would recommend it for the experience but in my opinion, it's just a once-and-done. The waiters were pretty sweet though, especially for them to be super busy.

It was my first Chipotle,
and I was struggling with selecting the ingredients...
A friendly staff came to help and he waited and explained everything patiently until I got through the payment.
I don't remember his name but I visited around 5 to 5:30pm on Thursday.
Thank you so much for the pleasant experience!
The ingredients and the food is nice as well.

This place is a huge must to visit on a date, hangout or just to have fun with a group. We came here for restaurant week and the food is amazing, the waiters are super nice and they have games for you to play while you eat and wait! They have a swings area, and huge games outside of the restaurant, while inside the restaurant you can play board games and card games they have for you! Definitely a huge must for this place. Their food was also huge in portions and we got full really fast.

We absolutely adored this bar, super fun lots of fun games to play inside and outside the bar. The drinks were great and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend this bar if your looking for something different as this is fantastic.
Even if you don’t drink your allowed to come here and play games for free which is amazing!

My friends and I got the Oktoberfest pretzel platter, and it was very mediocre and did not come with all the ingredients listed on the menu. Felt like we could have made the same by slicing up some store-bought sausages and scattering them around a plain pretzel. Definitely not worth $40. The waiters were very nice and atmosphere was great, though. They have various board games you can play and the TVs were broadcasting different sports games.

Such a hip location in the center of City to socialize away. It has a lot of space, and certain areas have been redone imaginatively. You'll find numerous options for table games. There is a good variety of food and beer, although not many vegetarian alternatives are offered.

This is a true 5 star steak house in the heart of the big apple . Our server Sophia was excellent and gave great menu recommendations!
We had the The 16oz wagyu New York strip ! It was butter soft and so flavorful , it was cooked medium ( best way to have it) . Sushi is on point here ! For dessert we had the Hazelnut praline cake ( it was divine )
Highly recommend this for anyone who likes superior quality and great taste .
Atmosphere is very chill and the interior is gorgeous .

High end restaurant in the middle of the Wall Street. If you didn’t know this place is Kosher you would never guess, the ambiance, the setting and the service is up to par and it’s definitely worth every penny. My favorite dishes were: tuna truffle sushi roll, crispy rice tuna, wagyu steak, assorted mushrooms and garlic mashed potatoes as a side. Wine selection is beyond any average kosher restaurant, you can tell that a professional sommelier worked on it. Last but not least, this restaurant has the best chicken tenders and fries for the kids. We had to take an extra order to go for their late snack.

They have a great deal from 4pm-7pm on certain days where some appetizers are half off and the milkshake is $5. My milkshake was really yummy and had real strawberries. The quesdillas were nicely seasoned and there were generous portions of sides, although there are only four. The slider burgers were out of this world, cheesy and greasy. The manager Johnson and staff are all very friendly. I will definitely be returning!

This is the American burger experience. A good variety of burger choices in a friendly atmosphere. I had the 3 mini burgers (“mini B’s”) and they were perfect. Caesar salad was fresh and not too saucy. Fries were average... but the Coney Island Pilsner was the perfect beer for the meal. This burger bar is clean, lively, and very well managed with attention to detail. Excellent service from my man Chris and all of the staff were friendly. Just walk past the front desk of the Marriott New York Downtown and you’ll find Bill’s.

Keto fans.. please come here and satisfy your burger cravings. Hard Rock Cafe style decoration and servers. Pleasing experience from start to finish. The burger was sufficient for a big eating male and the ingredients are superbly fresh. Even took away a cobb salad for my flight later. Will and must come back next month.

We ate out and drank here a good few times on our trip to New York. We managed to have 2 dinners (each time the burgers were lovely and very filling) and a breakfast (very large portions). The fries were extremely large portions at dinner time, could be shared by two people and alright to eat.
The atmosphere in the bar is fun, lots of sports on and different people around the bar.
Drinks weren’t overly expensive and for the good burgers and nice atmosphere i’d definitely recommend trying out bills if your in the area :))

Vegan Breakfast - Oatmeal w/ Berries, Fresh Fruit side, Breakfast Potatoes.
I don't know if this is strictly vegan because the oatmeal could have been made with dairy milk. But at least they offer a breakfast a vegan can order and be reasonably sure they're ok. If in doubt, ask. Sometimes potatoes aren't cooked vegan-style either. But this is the best I could do, and it was tasty and filling. The night before I did go in there for a take-out Beyond Burger. There was no one at the hostess stand, but I saw a group of servers further in just standing around. So I went up to them to ask for a take-out order, and one told me to go back and wait at the hostess stand. So I did and after a few minutes someone came around. The Beyond Burger was very good, so were the fries. Just be sure to order it vegan-style so they take off the dairy.

I adore this cafe! Every time I'm in the FiDi area, I make it a point to stop by. The staff is super friendly. Food options are well thought out and tasty (prices are in line with other local options). Plus I love the nostalgia of being in an old bank :)
But the best part is their coffee is ethically sourced and individually selected by the mother + daughter owners, who also are Q graders. You can feel great about the coffee you get here and know it has the highest bar for quality. Such an great story!
