Had a large group happy hour here after work and it was a blast.
This super cool setting made for great conversation as we admired the old bank vault doors.
Drinks were well made and food looked decent although we didn’t order anything.
This place is also across from a beautiful little park making it for a very cool place to hang out in the city.

Cool chill atmosphere inside of an old bank. Located near Trinity church and walking distance from the 9/11 memorial and World Trade. The service was excellent but the actual food wasn’t anything to write home about.

We were there for dinner. We ordered salad, salmon, pork chop, noodles and a bottle of wine, Cabernet Sauvignon. Everything, food and wine, is delicious and perfect. The only drawback is the service, but I’d still recommend.

Absolutely amazing experience. I wasn’t expecting much but the food was delicious and so was my server - Adam Hakim !!! Which is why I am posting this review. I ordered a Veg Barley Soup and it was the best I have ever had at a restaurant! Hands down. The Pan seared Scallops were soooo delicious too with fried leeks on top - and so flavorful and fresh. The Madame Lavender N/A drink was good too - and thanks to my server- customized as a Martini!!
The front room attendant was not great, forgot to inform the server about me so I had to wait for 15 mins before anyone came to serve. However when my server arrived- he Made sure I got everything fast! and excellent service. — Thank you Adam Hakim!

I had an amazing dining experience at the capital grille . The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, perfect for both a special occasion and a relaxed dinner. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection — juicy, flavorful, and tender. Side dishes like the mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus complemented the main dish beautifully. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, and their wine recommendations paired wonderfully with the meal. Prices are on the higher end, but the quality of food and service makes it absolutely worth it. Highly recommend for steak lovers!

If you decide to impress and enjoy a good meal the capital grille is the spot. My wife and I enjoyed this elegant establishment in lower Manhattan in the evening which makes it more romantic or just special. The clams were amazing and steak yum . It's dimly lit for great ambiance. And has a old bank safe inside . The special occasion for us was my birthday 🎂

Overall, it was a pleasant experience since I've always wanted to check out this place after it reopened. The steak was definitely top quality, and the server was also very attentive. However, I don't think this place is exceptionally special. It’s just a nice and sophisticated place to enjoy the steak, but nothing too special. Also, the price of the steak is pretty expensive. It's a good place for special occasions. Honestly cesar salad was the only dish that I'd recommend lol and still Cesar salad was too expensive as well

The experience was truly amazing 👍The steak boasts a tender and rich flavor that I find incredibly satisfying. I favor it cooked medium-rare, and this restaurant nails it perfectly. It practically melts in my mouth! The appetizer options are also really impressive. The vibe of the restaurant is fantastic, and the service is top-notch. I will certainly return!🫶🏻💕

As a chain Steakhouse, Capital Grille continues to deliver more or less. Everything was AOK, very good service and good food at your atypical NYC steakhouse prices (not cheap). This was our first time at this location which has an old school classic feel, oak wood, high ceilings, laid back, etc.. We got your typical steakhouse fare, sides - fries, asparagus, lobster mac and steaks of course, lol. It was good though to be honest nothing to rave about.
The acoustics are not the best and where we were seated might as well have been sitting with the table next to us with how loud their conversation was; doubt they even realized it. Not sure why they felt the need to seat us right next to a full table when the section was practically empty. The Female staff and servers were all friendly, professional and more than efficient; really outstanding. No regrets on the visit, but doubt will visit again anytime soon.

Tajin is a Mexican restaurant next door to George’s, an American restaurant, both very near the Rector Street stop on the 1 train. There is indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the chicken enchilada platter (2 enchiladas) with yellow rice and black beans with extra green sauce on four occasions ($18.95). All four experiences were positive. The two enchiladas are large and filled with shredded white chicken meat and a bit of pimento and are covered liberally in melted cheese. The portions are generous and completely fill the plate. I had ice water to drink. The meal was very tasty. I added some habanero green bottled hot sauce that was on the table which added a pleasant heat. There is a complete bar available.

The menu was a lot, and it was hard to pick so many options.
I opted for pancakes. They had a texture similar to Disney's Mickey waffles, my absolute favorite! What I enjoyed the most was that they weren’t overly sweet, and the fresh fruit was delicious. The coffee was great, and so was my scramble egg.
My husband ordered the Mediterranean kabobs, and the meat was incredibly flavorful. I wasn’t a fan of the rice, but overall, the dish was still delicious.
If you get seated upstairs, be mindful the stairs are quite narrow, but overall, it’s a great spot for a family Sunday brunch.

Was able to sit right away outside. The menu like others have said has alot. I mean a lot. It takes a bit to look through it all. The Philly cheesteak was not good at all. Lots of fatty hard chunks. Grilled cheese was simple. We did order the same time as the gentleman next to us. His food came out immediately and our order didnt show up until he was finished eating and paid. Didnt get refills, almost like we were forgotten about cause of our seats. I would not go here again

WOW soooo good. I was craving an omelet for lunch and it was fantastic. See pic for their potatoes as I wasn’t sure what they would be-one of the best meals in NYC. Huge menu and authentic food. Cute diner. We went on a weekday late afternoon after seeing Ground Zero and service was speedy.

New York Diner with something for everyone. We had a couple of sandwiches from the deli, two hamburgers, one order of spaghetti, and one gyro wrap! Service was quick and it was the perfect meal after spending the morning and early afternoon touring the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island. We walked to location passing the famous bull in front of the NY stock exchange on Wall Street. After a late lunch we walked over to the 9/11 memorial. Great place!

Slow and understaffed! I was there at about 12:30 on a weekday. One person behind the counter was running around dealing with drink orders. Another kept appearing and reappearing, but nobody was at the register. I waited a couple of minutes with several people ahead of me, but seeing no movement in the line and nobody even at the register, I put my sandwich back on the shelf and left.

I stopped by Pret a Manager at 5:00 pm, which apparently is equivalent to arriving at a party after the music has stopped and the snacks are gone. I mean, I've seen more extensive menus on a fridge magnet.
But hey, I wasn't entirely unlucky! I scored a delicious yogurt without sugar - because, let's be real, who needs sugar when you're already feeling bitter about the limited options?
In all seriousness, I'm sure Pret a Manager is a great spot...in the morning. Maybe I'll try my luck then. Until next time, I'll just have to pretend I'm on a sugar-free, option-less diet.
P.S. If you're a morning bird, go for it! If you're a afternoon snacker like me...well, may the odds be ever in your favor.

I love their balsamic chicken and mozerella sandwhich. You can taste the freshness of their baguettes in every bite. Their caesar dressing with their chicken salad taste very good as well. I LOVE their caesar dressing, I can honestly drink that stuff! Their lemonade is good as well.

Best lunch special in the city! $10 for a perfectly cooked cheeseburger (at least a third of a pound ) with tomato, lettuce and special sauce. And it was great! More cross-cut fries than I could eat. My friend had a kale salad with grilled chicken and a pretzel roll. Two thumbs up as well. They're definitely making their money on selling drinks, but no pressure to purchase. You can even get a can of beer with the lunch special for $4. There's a huge outdoor dining area covered by a massive construction shed, but they've hung chandeliers, ceiling fans and televisions for sports. It's the nicest construction shed around.

I love coming here every now and then to try their new selection of draft beers which never fail to satisfy! The food (especially the burgers) are some of the best i’ve had hands down. Yesterday I came in with my cousin and he isn’t the easiest to take out to eat or drink (very indecisive and asks too many questions) but the bartender Alex was very patient and helpful the whole time. Excellent customer service and kind!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An unforgettable anniversary dinner
We came here to celebrate our anniversary, and the entire experience was incredible from start to finish. The staff went out of their way to make the night special, and we truly felt taken care of.
Andrew, our server and Ariana, the head captain, deserve special recognition. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely focused on making sure everything was perfect for us. Their service elevated the entire evening, and we’re so grateful for the effort they put in.
The food was outstanding. The Golden age burger was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, the crispy beef was absolutely delicious, and the wine selection paired beautifully with everything. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and exceeded our expectations.
Thank you for making our anniversary such a memorable night. We can’t wait to come back!

The steak was phenomenal—perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and presented with real attention to detail. Every bite was unforgettable. The service was top-notch, with staff who were attentive, professional, and genuinely made me feel taken care of.
Everything about this place felt refined and high-class, from the food to the ambiance. It was truly a crazy good experience, one that stood out above any other steakhouse I’ve visited.
I will say, the prices are a bit on the high side, but honestly, aside from that, everything was absolutely perfect. If you’re looking for the best steakhouse in Manhattan, Reserve Cut is it.

Bills Burger, highly recommend! The food and service was wonderful, but without a doubt the ridiculous large pretzel is fabulously delicious a must try worth the experience by itself... As a stand alone shared around the table event. A crisp shell encapsulates the most fluffy dough that is to die for! We will be taking one to go and coming back again and again. Thank you for a core memory maker we will be talking about for years to come. Cheers !

What an amazing “hotel” restaurant! I don’t normally eat in the hotel restaurants but I was exhausted and hungry so Bills worked. I was blown away. The menu was vast and everything was tasty! I had the chicken Sammie’s, fries, and water. The service was incredible too.

Food was great. Good burgers and cheese fries. One of the worst servers I've ever had. Don't operate as a team. One server will look at your empty glass and walk by instead of giving a helping hand. Could use some serious guidance on the service side

From the moment I walked in, the customer service at Bill Burger was top-tier—courteous, prompt, and genuinely welcoming. The burgers? Absolutely delicious. Juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It’s rare to find a place that nails both hospitality and food quality, but Bill Burger does just that.
In short: I came for a meal and left in a committed relationship—with the burger. 10/10, would dine again

☕️💬 Bean & Bean – Had potential, but didn’t quite warm our hearts
Today my husband and I were walking through the Financial District 🏙️, enjoying the day, and looking for a quiet place to take a break and have a coffee. We found Bean & Bean, and while it looked promising from the outside — simple, a bit nostalgic — the experience inside left us feeling a bit disappointed.
When we walked in, the first thing we noticed was how old and untouched everything felt — from the front doors to the furniture. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, and I understand some might call it “vintage charm,” but to us, it felt more like the café hadn’t evolved in years. Even the cups were the most basic takeout kind — no brand, no detail, no personal touch 🥤
We ordered our drinks and took a seat. But then… nothing.
❌ No one asked for a name.
❌ No one explained the pickup process.
❌ No one let us know our coffee was ready.
We just sat there, unsure of what to expect. I eventually went up to ask, and our drinks were already sitting there — cold. No one called us, no one brought them over, and no one checked in. Even though it was clear we were waiting.
It may sound small, but these moments matter. When you go for coffee, especially in a city like New York, you’re often craving not just caffeine — but a little kindness, a bit of energy, some warmth.
The coffee itself? Honestly, forgettable. Just… okay. And that would’ve been fine, if the experience felt more connected. But it didn’t.
💡 So if you’re just grabbing a quick caffeine fix and don’t mind an impersonal vibe, this might do the job. But if you’re looking for atmosphere, care, and attention — you may want to look elsewhere.
⭐️ Rating: 2/5 — we wanted more than just coffee
👉 DO NOT RECOMMEND 🚫 (Personally mine)
Maryna Stupak - 3 months ago
Bean & Bean on Wall Street is a rare quiet pocket in the middle of the Financial District rush. The coffee is overall fine although the temperature of the cappuccino was not optimal. Staff are friendly without overdoing it, and service moves alright. Seating is limited, so it’s not ideal for lingering, but for a thoughtful cup of coffee and a short pause, it really delivers.

No better place to go immediately after visiting the WTC area and Museum than O'Hara's! It was a rumor, I believed it, tested it and it was, in fact, true! You feel like you are almost walking into a time capsule the moment you see the door and I won't spoil the surprise by telling you what happens AFTER you open the door.
It is a beautiful spot with so much personality, friendly service and the biggest burger I have ever seen. I couldn't even finish HALF. I think there was an entire pack of pack on it. ;) It was SO good.
Not to mention, really reasonably priced, especially considering it would have fed me three times. I was able to swap out reg fries for sweet potato fries (always a win). The photos of the HAND-WRITTEN menu will tell you everything about the vibe of this unique place..... And the prices are on them. Those portions are HUGE, people! Enjoy!
Will definitely be back!

Great find on the way from 9/11 Memorial. Good selection of drinks, friendly service and great atmosphere. Fantastic choice of rock music. I've been living in London for the last 18 years and I have to say none of my favourite bars there have such a great music. I know, it's very personal but... Going to visit again at the nearest opportunity.
