5 Star Rating Great bar atmosphere. VERY LOUD!!! Food was awesome. Wife had the Fish and Chips, daughter just had the chicken strip app, and I wanted to try something.....Irish.....so of course Shepherds Pie! Never had it before but it was the best. Great seasoning and potatoes fluffy and browned ever so slightly on top!

5 Star Rating A darling Irish tavern in the heart of the theater district. Lunch was outside in the comfortable rooftop dining area which was inviting, airy and spacious. We had a crisp salad with jumbo shrimp and a nicely done chicken sandwich platter. The waitstaff was friendly, professional and attentive to every need, including providing ice for an earlier foot mishap. Connolly's made our NYC visit all the more enjoyable!

5 Star Rating Our favourite bar during our entire stay. We visited every day after our first visit was so great, and it became our local! The food was delicious and the service impeccable. Special shout out to Darren the legend. He made us feel so welcome every visit, especially with how busy this bar is and he remembered us and our drinks order and even the football team my parter supported so the bar felt very homely. Would 10/10 recommend. Get yourselves to Connolly’s guys. Will be back next year

5 Star Rating We came here for my wife's birthday and had a great overall experience. We had reservations, arrived a little early, and were seated in less than a minute. My wife ordered the 3 oz A5 Wagyu, and she said it was excellent. I had the lamb chops, which were cooked perfectly and were one of the highlights of the meal. The lobster mac and cheese was delicious, and the creamy spinach was honestly the best we've ever had. The VIP cocktail was also outstanding and is something I would highly recommend. The bread was decent, and the crab cake was good, but for $29, I thought the portion was quite small. The only dish we didn't enjoy was the lobster bisque. It had a tangy flavor that wasn't to our liking. My only other critique is that the food came out extremely fast. We never felt rushed by the staff, but every course arrived almost immediately after the previous one. For a high-end dining experience, I would have preferred a little more time between courses to enjoy the meal and atmosphere. Overall, everything was very good, and despite those minor criticisms, I would definitely come back.

5 Star Rating This experience was simply fantastic. It’s a beautiful restaurant and the staff were very attentive and helpful in making our time memorable. We made reservations so for us there was no wait! I recommend making reservations since this place gets packed! The food. Oh my gosh. So good! I got the Surf & Turf Filet Trio which is the Filet Medallions Topped With Mini Crab Cake, Half Lobster Tail, Jumbo Shrimp. It was so delicious and worth the price, I know it says filet medallions with the s so plural but for some reason I thought it was just one filet, so it was a lovely surprise to see that there were three filet medallions! The whole meal was delicious and enjoyable. The lobster macaroni and cheese was simply divine, I can’t eat fish due to allergies but I can eat shellfish so my waiter ensured me there was no fish by product in the dish. It was lovely and I truly enjoyed my time. I highly recommend this place!

3 Star Rating Booked this restaurant for my birthday dinner before a Broadway show. We were greeted immediately by the Hosts. They wished me happy birthday and were very kind. We were sat at a half circle table that overlooked the street & Radio City. Daniel was our server. I was really hoping they were able to make a Pina Colada as it’s our favorite mixed drinks. They stated they weren’t. Offered the margaritas that were on special but unfortunately I didn’t like tequila. I would have liked some other rum based recommendations. Ended up getting Coke instead. I didn’t really appreciate some of the remarks our server made. He made a brother joke toward my husband thinking we were brother and sister. It didn’t sit well with me. We ordered steaks while my parents split one. As we were ordering, I ordered a side and my husband told him his meal and then the server didn’t ask him about a side. Just kind of skipped over him. Knowing now how big the sides are, that would make sense to share it. We didn’t know how big the sides were and an explanation on how the sides are shareable would have been helpful. Steaks were cooked very well and sides tasted great! Rolls were amazing! They also brought out a cube of cheesecake that tasted really good. I wouldn’t probably come back due to service.

5 Star Rating The Capital Grille in Midtown is where I go when I need a reliable business dinner that never disappoints. The dry-aged porterhouse is consistently excellent with a deep beefy flavor that comes from proper aging and a kitchen that respects the process. The lobster mac and cheese is indulgent in the best way creamy rich with chunks of lobster that justify the price. The wine list is extensive and well-curated with an emphasis on bold California cabs that pair perfectly with the steaks. What sets Capital Grille apart from the trendy steakhouse scene is consistency. Every single time I walk in I know exactly what I am getting and it is always good. The service is professional without being robotic they know their regulars and they treat first-timers with the same attention. The bar area is ideal for a pre-dinner drink or a meeting that does not need a full table. The decor is classic dark wood and white tablecloths but it never feels dated it feels intentional. In a city where restaurants come and go faster than taxi cabs Capital Grille has maintained its standard year after year. That reliability might not make headlines but it builds a loyal clientele and I am one of them. When the deal matters and the dinner needs to be right this is where I go. It never lets me down.

3 Star Rating We came as walk-ins and were very grateful that we were seated right away. Our server, Maria, was very sweet; however, overall the wait staff was not at the level expected of a fine dining establishment. Their English was quite poor. The service itself was excellent, and thanks to Maria for her food recommendations. One thing I would point out is that the hostesses do not seem to have a proper dress code for a place like this—it’s really not appropriate to see a hostess wearing UGG boots and a gray T-shirt.

5 Star Rating I had dinner here on a Friday night before a Broadway show and the place was packed. I had reservations and got seated fast. Fun vibes with live band playing salsa. I ordered Rice with Shrimp and plantains , Empanadas sampler and Pork. The entrees came with black beans and the portions were generous. The empanadas were delicious and I chose shrimp, beef and ropa vieja. Happy Hour is from 4-7pm and you can order the HH drinks from the table but if you want to order HH food, you have to be at the bar. Overall it was a great experience and I’d definitely go back. This is perfect for a bite and some drinks before your Broadway show. Follow me on Instagram @nj_4_fun

5 Star Rating A really cool spot for some Cuban food in Manhattan. The restaurant had some cool Cuban vibes. The pictures and art work were a nice vibe. We started out with the assortment of three empanadas (beef, chicken and cheese) my personal favorite was the chicken. For my entree I only wanted a small plate, so I ordered the masitas de cerdo which were served with tostones. It was a perfect side (appetizer size) with a side order of avocado. My girlfriend had the white rice with black beans. Both dishes were good. As we were leaving, a small band was setting up to play. The service and decor were really nice. The waiter was quick to take care of all or dining needs. I recommend you do reservations in order to get a table.

4 Star Rating There’s a certain kind of New York afternoon that calls for Havana before you even realize it—especially when it’s timed just right. A block away from The Lost Boys, Havana Central becomes the perfect pre-show ritual: lively, warm, and effortlessly indulgent. The experience begins above you. A glowing marquee “HAVANA” sign casts a nostalgic, golden light over the room, setting a tone that feels equal parts theater and escape. It’s the kind of place where lunch doesn’t feel rushed—it feels like part of the outing. The menu reads like a love letter to Cuban comfort, polished for a Manhattan crowd. Start with the empanadas—golden, crisp, and unapologetically satisfying. The shell gives way with a delicate crunch, revealing a rich, savory filling that pairs perfectly with a bright, herb-forward dipping sauce. Then comes the surprise standout: the salad. Generous chunks of avocado, briny green olives, black beans, and bursts of tomato create something far more compelling than a side dish. It’s bold, textured, and fresh—the kind of plate that resets your palate while still holding its own. The entrée leans into comfort with confidence: mango salmon resting over yellow rice, finished with a bright, slightly tangy fruit salsa. The fish is tender and buttery, the sweetness of mango balanced by citrus and herbs. Corn adds a soft sweetness, while pickled onions bring a necessary snap—it’s vibrant, layered, and quietly the star of the table. And the drink? A mojito—icy, refreshing, and alive with mint and lime. It’s clean, crisp, and exactly what you want before heading into a show, the kind of cocktail that resets the palate and disappears faster than expected. But what truly defines the experience is the service. Daniela moves through the dining room with a calm, intuitive rhythm—attentive without interruption, warm without pretense. She reads the table effortlessly, guiding the meal so it flows as smoothly as the afternoon itself. The Verdict: Havana Central isn’t just a meal—it’s the perfect prelude. One block from The Lost Boys, it delivers Cuban classics with energy, polish, and just the right sense of occasion. With Daniela at the helm, lunch becomes part of the performance.

3 Star Rating Esthetically it’s a very pleasant looking restaurant, spacious with plenty of options where to be seated. The service is very good, and pretty quick, however our reservation was pre after work crowd. As for the food, appetizers of oysters and calamari were good, as were the sorbet and parfait desserts, the main course of hanger steak was not. The dish lacked seasoning and the meat was chewy for both my friend and I. I mentioned that to both the servers and the manager. Also $11.50 for a 16 oz plastic bottle of flat water is a bit ridiculous.

5 Star Rating I can honestly say that Oceans is the best seafood restaurant I have ever experienced. From the moment we walked in, everything felt exceptional. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed — refined without being stuffy. There’s a real buzz in the room, but it never feels overwhelming. The space is beautifully designed and creates the perfect setting for a special evening. The service was outstanding. Attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being overbearing — the staff clearly take pride in what they do. Every recommendation was spot on, and we were made to feel genuinely welcome throughout the entire meal. As for the seafood, it was simply superb. Fresh, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. Every dish tasted premium and thoughtfully prepared. It’s definitely on the expensive side, but in this case, you truly get what you pay for. The quality of the food, the impeccable service, and the atmosphere make it absolutely worth the cost. A memorable dining experience from start to finish — I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The Del’s salad was fresh and delicious, and the green sauce made it even more flavorful and appetizing. 3 Star Rating I recently went to Del Frisco’s Grille and honestly… the food was very mid. I didn’t realize this was a completely separate restaurant from Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse— I thought they were the same. That was my mistake. It definitely feels like an off-brand version😩…. The salmon was dry and lacked flavor. The appetizers weren’t bad, but nothing impressive either. The only thing I truly enjoyed was my boyfriend’s crab lump cake appetizer — that was actually pretty good. We both ordered the same entrée, and overall it was just very average. The macaroni and cheese was especially disappointing — watery and tasted like boxed mac. I was so shocked I asked the waiter about it, and that’s when she explained that it’s a different concept and that a different owner took over this location. The sides were also the smallest portions I’ve ever seen at a restaurant in this price range. Overall rating: 4/10. 5 Star Rating Yesterday my partner and i went to Del Frisco's for dinner. Immediately met with the hostess who was extremely pleasant. We were seated immediately. Our waiter, forgot his name, was really nice and patient. He checked up on us consistently but not overbearing. The manager, Marcus, also stopped by our table to check in, and we had a small chat about the snowstorm that was hidden NYC the next day. You can tell that he cared about the restaurants customers by the way he spoke. The food was excellent, especially the cheesesteak eggrolls. We were celebrating an anniversary and we were bought a cheesecake, two shots., and a lovely card. This was a memory that will always remain. Thank you Del Frisco's for a wonderful experience. 3 Star Rating Can't seem to get it together for uber eats orders. Half the time when I order from here my order is wrong and the majority of the time it's when I order the oxtail. Today they sent stew beef im it's place as if it's the same thing. Didn't bother to call me to confirm if I was ok with the substitution. Stew beef is much harder/chewier and CHEAPER cut of beef yet they thought I would just be ok with paying such a high price for a low quality of meat. Even worse , they sent me just 4 small pieces of meat. I promptly filed a complaint.

2 Star Rating This was my first time dining in at this location. I’ve tried their chicken fried rice several times as takeout and always enjoyed it, so I went in with high expectations. However, the dine-in experience was disappointing. There was a private party happening, and while the noise wasn’t an issue at first, the loud music and the crowd at the entrance made the entire space feel congested and chaotic. It felt like we were seated inside the party, and no one acknowledged or apologized for the inconvenience. The tables were extremely close together, to the point where it felt like I was sharing a side table with another group. As for the food, the flavors were good, but my chili garlic noodles (ordered vegetarian) had no vegetables at all, which was unexpected. I wouldn’t call it a bad experience, but it definitely fell short. At the very least, the staff should have informed us about the private party and potential disturbances before seating us. I’ll likely continue ordering takeout because the food is reliable, but I wouldn’t choose to dine in again, it simply wasn’t worth the time or discomfort.

5 Star Rating Today was a hectic day — spent almost an hour driving around just to find parking , but dinner at Utsav completely made my day. A special thanks to Gilifton for the warm hospitality and great service. We ordered biryani and fried rice, and the fried rice was honestly outstanding — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and really satisfying. The biryani was delicious too. Great food, great service, and a perfect ending to the day. Definitely looking forward to coming back again!

3 Star Rating We returned to Utsav for a second time, primarily because the fried rice left such a great impression during our last visit. Located right in the heart of NYC’s tourist hub near Times Square, the layout features a bar on the first floor and a more spacious dining area on the second. The ambiance is decent—not overly fancy or extraordinary, but comfortable enough for a mid-city meal. The Food: From Highlights to Heartbreak Shrimp Egg Fried Rice: Hands down the best of the four dishes. Each grain of rice was distinct and perfectly amalgamated with fried egg and shrimp. It’s a dish that truly encourages your taste buds and offers great value for the money. Kolkata Fish Fry: I suspect they used Basa rather than the traditional Bhetki fish. The fish was not well-marinated defying moisture retainment. However, the fish fry accompanying Kasundi mustard sauce was the perfect touch to enhance the overall experience. Having been spoiled by the pioneer of the Kolkata fish fry, my taste buds remain loyal to Mitra Cafe; no successor has been able to eclipse that original experience Chilli Garlic Fish: A solid starter made in the Indo-Chinese style. The sautéed onions, chilli peppers, and spring onions provided a nice kick and a great texture to the fish. Butter Chicken: Unfortunately, this was the worst part of the meal. It felt like they didn't know how to make a proper Butter Chicken. If you’ve never had REAL Butter Chicken in India, you might find this acceptable, but it was far too sweet—likely amplified with sugar. It completely lacked the balance of sweet, tangy, and spicy that defines this mighty recipe. Final Verdict Utsav is a conveniently located spot with a decent atmosphere, serving mouth-watering fried rice and descent Bengali/Indo-Chinese options. However, the Butter Chicken failed to excite my taste buds entirely. If you want the real deal, I’d suggest trying Chatpata Delhi in NJ instead. Taste is subjective, but for me, this was a mix of good, average, and disappointing.

5 Star Rating Olive Garden has always been my family’s go-to restaurant whenever we want to enjoy a comfortable, relaxing dinner together. The highlight for us is definitely their complimentary salad and warm breadsticks, honestly, those two items alone make the visit worthwhile! The salad is always fresh, crisp, and perfectly dressed, and the breadsticks are soft, buttery, and served hot. No matter what main course we order, we end up enjoying the salad and breadsticks just as much, if not more. Whenever I’m visiting Times Square for work or leisure, I make sure to stop at this Olive Garden location for at least one meal. It’s spacious and welcoming, which is a nice surprise given how busy this area usually is. The atmosphere feels lively but still comfortable, making it a great spot to unwind after a long day of sightseeing or meetings. The food is delicious, consistent with Olive Garden’s known standards, and always served hot and fresh. The service here is friendly and prompt, and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to enjoy classic Italian-American food in the heart of New York City. In this visit I had their special item Chicken shrimp Carbonara … loved it. Tasty and good portion.

5 Star Rating The best thing about this place is the unlimited salad and breadsticks. And if you sit by a window, you can look down on a nice view of times square from the second floor while you enjoy a good meal. The portions are the right size and it leaves you satisfied. And the menu has a good gluten free section. As a local in the city, I usually avoid suburban chains like this, but Olive Garden is always great.

5 Star Rating Olive Garden is a very beautiful Italian restaurant. I really enjoy spending time there. We often go there with my children because it is very child-friendly and comfortable for families. We especially love their food — everything is delicious, fresh, and well prepared. The service is also very good, and the prices are quite reasonable. This restaurant is located in Times Square, right in the center of Manhattan where there are always many people and a lively atmosphere. The view there is beautiful, and the whole place has a wonderful vibe. For our family, it’s one of our favorite places to visit.🤍

3 Star Rating First and last time at Olive Garden. The food was pretty good, but the service needs serious work. When we arrived up the escalator we didn’t immediately realise the hostess desk was a sharp left and left again, and the attitude of this particular staff member appeared to be annoyance based on her facial expression, rather than understanding of the confusion. This set the tone for the entire meal. Our waiter was friendly but not attentive, he delivered our starters but we had no cutlery, and it took five minutes to get anyone’s attention to resolve the matter. It could have been solved quicker if staff were not continuously on their phones or chatting to each other. One staff member was on their phone 50 minutes out of the hour, they were in my line of sight and it was hard to ignore the unprofessionalism. Then, when our food did arrive, one of the orders was incorrect, but it was resolved quickly. Finally, when our bill came, I was asked directly what % tip I would be giving, when I said 20%, the particular staff member rolled his eyes, as I assume he wanted more. This place needs a serious management and staff overhaul, it should be the flagship store and be setting that standard. Service charge should be for good service, not whatever this was.

3 Star Rating The hostess is not very welcoming. The fish tacos and fish n chips were good. The cheeseburger was just ok…heavy thick bun(supposed to be signature), thick, dry patty. I would not order it if given another chance. All in all, a good place to have a drink and average bar food if you have had a few drinks.

4 Star Rating This was a really cool Irish Bar, situated right in the middle of downtown Manhattan. We sat on the rooftop, which despite not having a great view, was very interesting! The food was great, the drinks were good enough, and the staff was alright. This restaurant took me back in time a little bit, which I mean in the best way possible. If they can get the service part down a little bit better, it'd be a can't miss place! Would recommend.

4 Star Rating A pretty standard Irish Pub fare. The food quality is decent and pretty much what is expected of an Irish pub, nothing extraordinary but satisfying enough. Price point is reasonable for NYC tourist trap area. Seating on the 2nd floor is quiet, which is nice. Food came out quick and service was good.
