We had a reservation in the parlor and had a really great time. The bar is quite busy and sort of unpleasant to get in simply from the crowd - even with a reservation you will wait. Once you’re sitting down and enjoying yourself it’s a comfortable, quiet atmosphere upstairs. The cocktails were excellent and we enjoyed everything - we’d get more next time but we didn’t quite have the time!

Great place for food and drinks. The food is excellent. I really liked the Mini spice bag chicken rolls. It a combination of the Irish chicken roll and spice bag in a slider. It’s very good. Lots of Irish signs pics and more.

The Dead Rabbit was a solid stop on our trip, but for us, it didn’t quite live up to all the hype. Don’t get me wrong—it’s a good Irish bar with a great atmosphere, and the Guinness was poured well and went down easy. One thing I did enjoy was looking over the impressive selection of Irish whiskeys displayed on the top shelves. If you’re a whiskey fan, it’s fun just seeing the variety they have behind the bar. That said, nothing really stood out as being extraordinary. The drinks were good, the service was good, and the atmosphere was enjoyable, but at the end of the day it felt like a really good Irish pub rather than a must-see destination. I’d still recommend stopping in if you’re in the area or want to check an iconic New York bar off your list. Just go in with realistic expectations. For us, it was a quality Irish pub with great Guinness and a fantastic whiskey selection—not necessarily a place that completely lived up to the legendary reputation.

We visited the upstairs cocktail lounge. Phenomenal cocktails, I tried the Gilded Lady and it did not disappoint! The food was upscale pub food, good flavour. Specifically the side of veggies was a good portion and delicious.

The food was fantastic, generous portions of rice and meat. I tried lamb biriyani. The mango lassi is amazing. The staff are caring. They play soft karaoke of Hindi songs at the right volume. One improvement could be the noise from the kitchen. Other than that, highly recommend it. The food made me happy.

The place has aced the food for the soul. There is Americanized Indian food and then there is tonned down Indian food and this place has nailed the right flavor and texture that rekindles your memory when you sip the chai and take a bite of the samosa. Kudos to the team both at the the front end and in the backend. Would love to see this place prosper. Ps- If you badly want a pallet refresh with the overdosed cheese and spices , this is your next stop. Walk here right after the liberty visit

I Visited Indian Bombay Restaurant today and had a wonderful experience! The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. A special thank you to Limon for being so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. He made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for great food and excellent hospitality. Food was excellent, atmosphere is fun , service was pretty poor. Out waiter was grumpy when we asked for changes to an item on the menu (dietary restrictions) and huffed to start a new page, brought the wrong beer, didn’t come back to our table once we ordered food (the bust boy brought us our food/ to go box etc) and took 20 minutes to bring the check. We had to ask the other servers 3 times to get the check. I will say they had a large birthday party but we watched our waiter take drink orders for people at the bar for 15 mins after we had asked twice. Would still recommend simply because the food was good. Hibiscus sour, brisket cheesesteak sandwich and the Reuben. Fries are also crispy and well seasoned.

We searched for a place to eat in the area and this place looked pretty good. There was three of us and we all had something different. The food overall was really good. The service from start to finish was great. I would definitely recommend this place. Will eat here next time I am in the area

Totally my new hangout for anytime I’m down by the battery or headed to Governors Island. Apart from a deli, it’s hard to find decent and affordable food down in the Battery area. The people were sweet as hell, the music was loud, the burgers were great, and the price was perfect for this part of Manhattan. What else could I ask for?

Very well surprised! In this Irish pub the food is very well prepared, the burgers are with real beef, heinz ketchup and even the pickles are not industrialized. The prices were also fair.

We had a fantastic experience at the White Horse Tavern in New York! The atmosphere was warm, lively, and full of character. The sandwiches are good but I absolutely hate the layout of the restaurant. The counters are too high, you can’t see any of the vegetables yet or meat or bread options. In addition there’s an insanely loud oven so you also can’t hear any of the workers so they usually get your order wrong.

I had the prime rib sandwich and it was delicious with a generous amount of garlic aioli sauce adding to the flavor. I also had the churro milkshake and it had just the right amount of cinnamon, very tasty. Customer service was fast and the place was clean.

Was looking for a quick place to get some flavorful food near the Staten Island ferry terminal in Manhattan, and found this place online. Food was good - fresh & flavorful. No complaints. Service is the typical counter service - order your dish and they put it together for you. It was convenient and the food was tasty. Will keep it in mind for future trips to Manhattan.

I dined here a few days ago and tried their falafel bowl with rice and I really loved it! The falafel was very delicious, even though it wasn’t freshly made or warm. The bowl also came with a small pita bread on the side, which was a nice touch. The portion size was generous and filling. Overall, a great value and tasty meal. Highly recommend!

the attitude of some of the employees working there were honestly awful. i just asked if there was a restroom, he said no, i asked if he knows there are around in the building, he didn't care at all and said "i don't know, ask people". we came there as a group and my friends had similar experiences with him unfortunately. i liked the food, but if you care about halal food know that their beef is not halal.

A great place to get a salad. Best to pre-order on the app and there's all these deals with the reward program and you can treat yourself for a hard day of work. I got the Cobb salad which is around $16. They have sturdy forks and bright green paper bags. I love the green goddess dressing which is light and tasty. It's located in NY Plaza down below in basement food court after Water Street.

They make salads and wraps. I had the southwestern steak wrap. The wrap itself was packed, they did not skimp out on the ingredients. It was tasty with a a sweet spicy sauce that added flavor. Customer service was good and the place itself was very clean.

(Long review) I recently visited Fraunces Tavern, and the building itself is absolutely beautiful. It’s full of history and has a fascinating story behind it, which made the experience unique. A big part of my visit was to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations, especially considering the prices. The dishes looked delicious when they arrived, but the food was literally as cold as the dining area. The flavor was lacking, and the temperature was a major disappointment. We ordered the mac and cheese, and the cheese wasn’t even melted, it was literally sitting on top of the dish. The service was okay. Our waitress seemed busy, but the restaurant and museum are located in a very busy area and appear to have a steady flow of customers, so that was understandable. We did finish our meals and didn’t complain at the time because we didn’t want to make an issue of it. The portions were generous, which was a positive. Overall, I’m glad I got to experience the historic atmosphere and see the restaurant/museum, but I wouldn’t return for the food. It’s definitely worth visiting for the history and the visuals, but my dining experience was disappointing.

There are multiple rooms for different purposes so it’s nice to hop around before and after dinner. Downstairs feels more like an old timey pub whereas the piano room upstairs more a lounge with live music. It’s actually pretty easy to walk in on weekend evenings so reservations aren’t really necessary. The host acted somewhat nonchalant at first until she realized we had a reservation for the piano room, which we made ten minutes prior while seated at the downstairs bar because there were so many spaces available. The service upstairs was definitely more pleasant. The chicken pot pie was delicious and the cocktails were good. The menus are mostly shared across the rooms but some have minor pp minimums (eg $30) so if you’re planning to grab dessert anyway then I’d suggest grabbing it upstairs.

Amazing: historical significance and great traditional pub era dining made a great pairing! Johan made some excellent suggestions. If you're a Fish and Chips person you are in for a treat! Batter is perfectly crisper and the cod is light and delicate! Is you roll salt & vinegar don't make the mistake I did ordering the truffle fries (what on earth was it thinking 😆)! It's jist a weird pallet.

This place was recommended to me by a professor at my university for the museum, but we also knew we had to have dinner at the restaurant for a birthday celebration. It was best atmosphere we could’ve asked for. I’m a huge history buff and really enjoyed learning of this place’s history and its past, even if just through decor or small signs. The food was great— best fish and chips my boyfriend had had, and the lobster and shrimp mac and cheese was delightful. The chocolate peanut butter cake was a great way to end off. We came back to the museum the following day which we also very much enjoyed.

When arriving to pick up my online order they informed me that the drink machine was down so they would have to refund my drink, which was understandable but after getting home my entire order was made incorrectly. No lettuce in my salad, no black olives, the tomatoes were soggy and obviously past their line time. With it being a such a slow business day, you would expect the workers to be able to read a receipt and make an order correct.

The store itself is fine enough, the staff is the real problem. While they were decent with me they burnt the churro, the sandwich had a pitiful amount of meat, the sandwich price was ridiculous (tho I know that can be a Subway in general issue) and they were yelling at an employee for making the most minor of mistakes. It's an almost passable place to get a sandwich but with so many better options in the neighborhood (there's like 3 other better Subways in spitting distance) it's so much worse in comparison.

I am in the city twice a week and I come here for lunch both days every week. Food is solid for fast casual and Dieenah is the BEST. She always takes care of me and is warm, welcoming, and remembers my order. Not only that, she asks about how the week is going and upcoming weekend plans even if they are busy - she takes the time to do that. 10/10 .

Emmy is one of the most attentive, efficient, and engaging salad makers and counter attendants I have encountered. July 2023: Love the salad 😋🥗. Stopped by for lunch and tried the Tokyo Supergreens salad. I thought the flavors were excellent 👍. The ingredients tasted very fresh. Was very happy with the portions too. Service was very friendly. Really appreciated the workers serving up delicious food. I will definitely come back again for more delicious food when I am in the neighborhood!

A great quick stop for lunch. They have tofu and lentils as vegetarian protein options. The ingredients looked and tasted fresh at 1 pm. Build your own is a quick way to put together a decently priced lunch. There were plenty of indoor seating options with a table outside. The service was also friendly.

This was one of the best meals we had during our stay in NYC. We had the chicken tandoori which was so tender and well spiced, the mattar paneer also very well done, garlic naan and mango lassi. We were so happy w our meal and pleasantly surprised by the great prices and generous portions.

This is the second time I've been here because the amount of food you get for the price makes it worth it. It's decent food at an affordable price that will leave you feeling satisfied. The staff have been super friendly and attentive to my needs both times I have visited I went for the pre-fix lunch special and got an order of Butter Chicken with aromatic basmati rice, Cocktail samosa (veggie), Garlic naan, and Mango Lassi for under $25. Food: Butter Chicken: I told the waiter to make it on the spicier side when I placed my order but I received the opposite. It was on the sweeter side which was okay but just a little disappointing. The butter chicken was flavorful and had a nice creamy mouth feel. I did find it to be more on the tomato-y side which overpowered the rest of the spices. The chicken wasn't dry and had great flavors. It was pretty decent but again I wish it had a little more heat to it. The basmati rice - although fragrant and tasty it could have been a bit softer with a little more moisture. 4.5/5 Garlic Naan: By far one of the best garlic naan I've tasted in a very long time. The dough was fully cooked through, super soft with crispy pockets, and the garlic was not too overpowering. 5/5 Cocktail Samosa: The exterior was light, crispy, and golden to perfection. The insides were stuffed with lightly seasoned potatoes and peas. The stuffing could have used more seasoning, although I did taste the cardamon a lot of the other spices didn't come through. What really saved this appetizer for me was the mint sauce (hari sauce), it was bright, fresh, and brought it all together. The tamarind sauce was too sweet for me and just sort of sat there. 4/5 Mango Lassi: This drink was sweet, sour, and extra thiccc. It was creamy and delicious, but it did take me at least 10 minutes to get it all down. Luckily I had a glass of water near by to help it go down with ease. 4/5 Service: Very friendly staff that will check in on you once in a little while to make sure everything is to your liking. Decor: Dimly lit restaurant with a clean and cozy atmosphere. Plenty of space for large and small groups. The restrooms were cleaned and well maintained. Overall I did enjoy my food, I left with a full belly and satisfied with my order. The prices are affordable for the area and the food is decent. I'll def visit Aahar again!
