The atmosphere really good and scenic. The server was patient and friendly. However she didn’t check the dishes before giving us a dirty glass of water. The crispy calamari with the banana peppers was ok including the mustard style sauce that came with it. The shrimp linguine was undercooked and seasoned-less however the presentation was good. The host was ok but unwelcoming. No smiles, no excitement. The food was definitely overpriced. The fish and chip was ridiculous for the sized verses the price. The fish tasted like it was cooked in old oil. One of the four of us didn’t eat after getting a dirty glass because it made us question if we were being served with dirty dishes and clean food. For a popular area it could’ve been better. We wouldn’t come here again.

I just had to share what an incredible experience I had here. As a visiting physician caring for COVID patients, this turned out to be the best dining experience I've had in the city. The ambiance and view were stunning, and the drinks were both creative and refreshing. The food was absolutely delicious!
What truly stood out, though, was the amazing service. Brian, my server, was so knowledgeable and attentive—he really made the meal special. Even Michael, the general manager, stopped by to check in on me a few times throughout the evening. Despite the restaurant hosting two large parties, I never felt overlooked. In fact, I felt more cared for than at any other place I’ve been to.
Everything about this spot was perfect. It’s officially my new favorite place in NYC! A big thank you to Michael and Brian for making the night unforgettable.

The ambiance and location paired with one of the remaining beautiful days of summer are the only reasons this place was lovely. (I don't hold the construction that blocked the gorgeous sunset against them. The City is always improving.)
And that's where the positive ends.
Unfortunately, the service was s-l-o-w. It was almost as if the place didn't get more staff to handle the wedding.
The host didn't remember that one of us was a guest, so she sent us to the "public" restroom. The salmon was greasy; more like oil with salmon than the reverse. My Americano had to be redone 3 times: brown water, warm brown water, hot reused grounds. I gave up and said it was good. The server who made it (yup) was super polite, obviously trying his best, and simply didn't know better. They didn't charge us for it.
In a line, come for the view; eat and drink elsewhere.

Nice location all the way around, with a view of Battery Park, World Trade Center and the Statue of Liberty across the water. Good food and the wine was lovely. Really recommend this restaurant, it definitely lives up to its name!

Food was good. I ordered the halibut with fingerling potatoes and green beans. My boyfriend ordered the streak with mashed potatoes and asparagus with avocado on the side. My fish was over cooked and dry. Since we were in a rush I didn’t send it back. The green beans were sent 5 minutes after the meal but was very good. The potatoes needed salt but once added was good. My boyfriend enjoyed his steak and potatoes.

As one of the best bars in NY, I was looking forward to this place. It’s packed, but I still was able to get a table and order food and drinks relatively fast. The Doctors Orders was amazing, a true fall drink, and their signature coffee drinks were all great. The food was good for a “pub”, unfortunately I dint get a chance to access the second floor, so have to come back for that. Staff was friendly and attentive.

I stopped in on a late Friday afternoon for a drink and was not disappointed. Friendly crowd a bit packed in, but everyone getting along.
Had a Taking Liberties and thoroughly enjoyed it. Followed that with a pint. Made some friends.
Came back the next day for a drink and a snack. Iced Irish coffee is perfect for a hot day.
I love, love that their TVs and be pushed up to the ceiling and lit if the way when there's no special game on. Perfect adaptation. No notes.

What a fun place! Great pub atmosphere, a full menu, with lots of cocktail choices. And of course plenty of beers. Excellent and cheerful bartender. And good food. We got the gem lettuce Ceasar which was great. Some oysters. And their version of the Reuben (Cole slaw instead of sauerkraut). I still prefer Sauron’s this was very tasty. Hard to get reservations but on a Friday at noon we were able to get seats at the bar.

I literally took a bite of this grilled salmon and just had to say it’s cooked to perfection! I am absolutely delighted and flabbergasted to have tasted such delicious salmon. The non-alcoholic cocktail were also really taste and not just some frizzy drink mixed. Place was packed but I was still able to find a place to sit. The waitress that helped me with my order was really nice. Would definitely come back again!

Yes they offer the best Irish coffee (and derivatives) on NYC. If you love tiramisu, the Irish coffee tiramisu is a must try.
This is one of my world top10bar.
Good food, good drink. Always cheers me up.
Parlor Room has a better quality in cocktail. Tap room is good for beer, as it sounds. Great service.

I recently visited the Chipotle near Battery Park in Manhattan and was disappointed with the experience. The portion size was noticeably smaller compared to other Chipotle locations, especially in California where I live. Even though it’s the same chain, the serving felt much less generous here.
Additionally, the soda machine wasn’t working properly — none of the drinks had carbonation. It felt like drinking sweet, flat water, which was very unpleasant. I mentioned it to the staff, but they didn’t seem concerned and didn’t take any real action to fix it or notify a manager. It gave me the impression that customer feedback isn’t taken seriously at this location.

Worst place to go! The serving person will ignore all what you are trying to say and just be in their own world to pack you for the bill.
They are like interns in office space with no experience. Attitude was at a different level. Start the serve and leave the customer in the middle of serving and ignore.
They packed my bowl with rice as if I had asked for more. No cream no salsa. Dumbo!! I wish I had got my money back as we get in California.

Went back and they replaced it.

The food here tastes really good and authentic – definitely gives you that desi flavor you’re looking for in the city. The restaurant is cozy and nicely decorated, with a decent seating area. However, the prices are on the higher side, and they charged us an extra $15 as a “party fee” even though we were just 5 people, which felt a bit unreasonable. Worth trying for the food, but just be prepared for extra charges.

Bombay’s Pearl Street in New York offers an exceptional dining experience with its blend of authentic Indian flavors and modern ambiance. The restaurant is known for its warm, inviting atmosphere, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions. Their menu features a wide variety of dishes, all made with high-quality ingredients and bold spices.
A must-try is the paneer tikka, a rich and flavorful dish with spicy, tandoori paste. If you're looking for something milder, the Butter Chicken is a crowd favorite, with its creamy tomato sauce and perfectly cooked chicken that’s both comforting and satisfying.
For those who enjoy vegetarian options, the Palak paneer is a standout—creamy spinach with cubes of fresh paneer, offering a delightful combination of textures and flavors.
The service at Bombay’s Pearl Street is consistently attentive, and the portions are generous. Whether you're new to Indian cuisine or a seasoned fan, Bombay’s offers a memorable experience with a mix of traditional and contemporary takes on Indian classics. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy flavorful, authentic Indian dishes in a lively setting.

This place is great for lunch and also catering orders. I ordered lunch for 60 people, they helped me well plan the menu, payment system is seamless and they give you a heads up call and got delivered sharply at 11.45am as per my instructions for 12pm lunch. Perfect! Highly recommend and will order again.
Also the lunch buffet is amazing

Staff was really friendly. I liked that they gave me samples. The kidney bean soup and multigatawany soup was good. Samosas and chana masala were just ok. I'm giving 3 stars bc I was told they could make the multigatawany soup vegan so I ordered it. I went back the day after and was told they only make it with chicken broth so I'm concerned about what I really ate the previous day.

Glad to say this was my first time having authentic Indian food and I was NOT disappointed. I had the shrimp curry and the curry paired very well with the white rice. The biggest surprise for me was definitely the mango lassi; I recommend it if you’re in the mood for a sweet smoothie like beverage. I was left obsessed with the spice combination of the chicken tiki masala! Great food combined with a kind and generous staff makes this a place I plan to revisit! ( They even gave us complimentary dessert! )

When I worked downtown, I used to love getting lunch at Flavors. They make amazing paninis, but they also have a salad bar and a pasta bar. They also have seating upstairs.
Today I had the Eggplant Frita (eggplant, avocado, pickled jalapenos and onions, oven dried tomatoes, queso fresco and chipotle spread). So different and a great flavor combination.

Fantastic, small, local owned tavern with great food and drinks. The burgers were great! The pita and hummus was good too! Very small but really delicious food and great service. They sat my family of 5 quickly and food came out quick!

I love visiting Irish pubs, especially those that have such a rich history, like the White Horse Tavern. When entering, you are greeted so warmly by the staff, and the overall atmosphere of the bar is very inviting.
Since I now work in the area, I stopped in just for a quick bite and drink, so I just ordered a Dark and Stormy, a Chicken Quesadilla, and the Onion Rings. Everything was really good and the prices here are very decent for this area. They have a good-sized food and drinks menu and plenty of seating on multiple floors. My server, who I unfortunately didn't get her name, was so nice and very attentive throughout my meal.
I will definitely make it a point to come back again in the near future for food and drinks.

Worth your time if you're in Financial District: excellent food, good service & pretty good prices. A lunch for 2 with 3 beers was about $45.
Tried: pot roast (excellent), knockwurst & sauerkraut (very good) paired with local draft Beer.
P.S. if you're visiting in Winter - Fall, go for house special: PBR & shot combo for $5.
PPS. This place has a music jukebox with access via cell - we had great time playing it. The cost is less than $1 for a song.

This fantastic spot is located downstairs in the New York Plaza building. It's one of the many food gems in this little food court, and I was really impressed by the quick service, welcoming staff, and relaxed vibe. I had the chicken shawarma bowl with rice, super greens, pickled turnips and cucumbers, fluffy garlic sauce, a yogurt-cucumber mix, olives, fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, and a kick of red sauce. It was so flavorful and satisfying!

It’s really not worth $14. The store manager was nice enough to add some rice but this is outrageous to have half a box filled up. When I asked them the first time, they confidently said that’s enough of chicken shawarma. Really disappointed as this used to be my go to place for lunch. Sadly won’t be returning here.

Amazing place, the beef shwarma they have is sensational. When I first walked in I thought it was going to be average, BOY WAS I WRONG. The service is great I asked for some extra pita bread and they gave me fresh Pita bread, free of charge. It's a very short wait from ordering to eating your food in about under 10-15 minutes. I couldn't praise this place more.

I am writing about the Naya in financial district near battery park. Food is fresh and good. You can get with meat or without meat and they have cauliflower and falafel for non-meat proteins. You can have a base of salads or grains or bread. You then pick your protein and you can get all the vegetarian add-ons that you want. You can customize it your way and have all possible combination you want. We tried their falafel salad and Chicken swharma wrap with the jalapeño sauce and was amazing. If you are in New York must try there wraps

As a big fan of Cava I have to say this place is a gem! I love a good competition, the beef shawarma is really tasty! A delicious bowl overall. The only downside is the place is kinda small to dine-in, but considering it's an "express" location I guess it makes sense.

A Fantastic Dining Experience!
I had an absolutely delicious lunch here! The truffle fries were outstanding—crispy, flavorful, and a must-try. The atmosphere was wonderful, blending charm and history seamlessly, and the service was just as impressive. This spot has deep historical ties to a few founding fathers it is a must-visit for any history buff exploring NYC.
On top of the great food and ambiance, the staff went above and beyond. My cell service was spotty in the city, and after my meal, the hostess kindly helped me with directions. That level of hospitality truly made my experience even better. Highly recommend!

An unforgettable experience at Fraunces Tavern in New York! The ambiance is truly one of a kind – you can almost feel the echoes of history with every step you take. The food was absolutely delicious, and we had the privilege of sipping on the finest whiskey I've ever tasted: Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Special Release Tennessee Whiskey. It was the perfect choice to complement the atmosphere.
What makes this place even more remarkable is its rich history. Imagine being in a place older than the United States itself – it’s not just a restaurant; it’s a living piece of history. This iconic spot has even hosted past presidents, most notably George Washington, who gave his farewell address to his officers here in 1783. You can really sense the legacy and the vibe of generations past that still linger in the air. It’s a place where history and culture meet, making it unlike any other. Truly a gem in the heart of New York!

Fraunces Tavern is a true gem for both history buffs and food lovers. As the city’s oldest bar, it has played a significant role in America’s past, having once hosted the Founding Fathers. I was seated next to the portrait of George Washington, which added an extra layer of charm to the historic atmosphere.
Beyond its historical significance, the experience here was fantastic. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive. Whether you're here for the history, the atmosphere, or just a great meal, Fraunces Tavern delivers on all fronts.
