5 Star Rating The Dead Rabbit has a great name and an even more interesting setting.....once inside. The deco of the place speaks to the history of the area. The lobster devil eggs were unbelievable. I ordered the house drink "Doctors Orders" and it was amazing....I had 3. Melissa was our server and she was great. I highly recommend this place and its a must visit!!

5 Star Rating Is it one of the best - yes. Big hype about the Guinness, and it really didn’t disappoint. Love the sawdust and the total vibe. Staff were great - and we have a brilliant time, make sure you take a dollar bill so you can write a little note and the team will staple it to the wall for you. They sad they never ever take these down, so it’s a nice thought to return some day and see the note you might have written years ago. ENJOY!

4 Star Rating Definitely an iconic place and super busy no matter when you go. The food was good. Our party ordered multiple different drinks and all were good--Dr's Orders is the one to try. It was made clear we had 2 hours to sit, eat and drink because reservations are stacked, so not a place to lounge and take your time with friends. Was fun to try.

5 Star Rating The Dead Rabbit is hands down my favorite bar in NYC. The bartenders are incredible—knowledgeable, friendly, and always professional, even when the place is buzzing. And trust me, it does get busy, so be prepared for a lively crowd. I usually hang out in the Tap Room, which has the perfect pub energy, but the Parlor upstairs is an absolute must-visit. Definitely make a reservation for the Parlor—it’s worth it. The Dead Rabbit is all about great Irish pub food, top-tier cocktails, and one of the best pints of Guinness you’ll find anywhere in NYC. A classic for a reason. 🍀🍺

4 Star Rating Bombay’s in New York is a great place to visit if you are craving authentic Indian flavors in the city. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that feels both casual and comfortable. The aroma of Indian spices hits you as soon as you walk in, which immediately sets the mood for a satisfying meal. For vegetarians, there are plenty of good choices on the menu. Dishes like paneer based curries, vegetable curries, dal, and freshly baked naan breads are flavorful and well prepared. The spices are balanced nicely so the food feels authentic without being overly heavy. The portion sizes are also generous which makes it a good value for the price. The service is friendly and attentive. The staff is usually happy to recommend dishes or adjust spice levels depending on your preference. It makes the experience feel more personal especially if you are trying something new. Parking in Manhattan can be challenging, so taking the subway or public transportation is usually the easiest option. The restaurant can get busy during dinner hours and weekends, so making a reservation in advance is a good idea if you are planning to visit with a group. One helpful tip is to try a combination of a vegetarian curry with garlic naan or plain basmati rice so you can enjoy the rich flavors of the sauce. Overall Bombay’s is a solid choice in New York for flavorful Indian cuisine and a pleasant dining experience.

5 Star Rating The place has aced the food for the soul. There is Americanized Indian food and then there is tonned down Indian food and this place has nailed the right flavor and texture that rekindles your memory when you sip the chai and take a bite of the samosa. Kudos to the team both at the the front end and in the backend. Would love to see this place prosper. Ps- If you badly want a pallet refresh with the overdosed cheese and spices , this is your next stop. Walk here right after the liberty visit

5 Star Rating Totally my new hangout for anytime I’m down by the battery or headed to Governors Island. Apart from a deli, it’s hard to find decent and affordable food down in the Battery area. The people were sweet as hell, the music was loud, the burgers were great, and the price was perfect for this part of Manhattan. What else could I ask for?

5 Star Rating This is without a doubt the greatest bar in NYC. I work close to White Horse and my coworkers and I usually make our way here a couple of times a month. The staff is incredibly friendly. Especially KP and Aimen on the second floor. At this point they know all of our names and orders and make us feel truly welcomed. They have a AIM system and a couple of dart boards which are fun to use. The food is delicious and extremely affordable for the location. The price of the drinks is also very reasonable and one of the reasons we always end up here. They have a beer shot combo for $6 which gets you a 16oz PBR and a shot. I can almost guarantee you that you will not find a better drink deal on the island of Manhattan. The White Horse Tavern is truly a gem in NYC and haven’t found another place like it.

5 Star Rating NAYA is a popular fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant in New York City known for its fresh ingredients and customizable bowls. The concept is simple: you choose your base, protein, toppings, and sauces, creating a meal that fits your taste perfectly. The space is modern and clean, designed for quick service while still feeling comfortable. The chicken shawarma is tender and flavorful, and the falafel is crispy on the outside with a soft, well-seasoned interior. Fresh vegetables, hummus, and garlic sauce add balance and brightness to each bowl. Portions are generous, making it a satisfying option for lunch or dinner without feeling overly heavy. Service is usually fast and efficient, especially during busy hours. Overall, NAYA delivers healthy, flavorful Mediterranean food at a reasonable price, making it a reliable go-to spot for a quick and tasty meal in the city.

3 Star Rating I’ve been getting lunch here at least twice a week for the last 4 months or so through the app. On the app, they give you a $9 coupon when you hit 100 points. Every time I order using the coupon, I get double meat because it’s basically free. On every occasion (about 4) up until now, they’ve never given me the double portion. I know this to be true because I often do a falafel bowl with extra beef shawarma, yet there’s no shawarma in the bowl. Just extra rice and veggies. The food is good, but if you are going to order extra portions through the app, be aware that you may not get it.

2 Star Rating It’s really not worth $14. The store manager was nice enough to add some rice but this is outrageous to have half a box filled up. When I asked them the first time, they confidently said that’s enough of chicken shawarma. Really disappointed as this used to be my go to place for lunch. Sadly won’t be returning here.

5 Star Rating Party of 2 coming for the history. I loved the proximity to Wall Street, easy walk. We got seated quickly around 6pm on a Friday but missed the museum closing at 5. I had the Chicken pot pie & it was really great, it had large tender veggies inside & a perfect croissant type top. I also got the brussel sprouts which I felt weren't worth the extra $, not tender enough & a little short on flavor. The service was great but the bar side area was a little loud & tight with the 2 seaters being so close.

4 Star Rating Stopped in for lunch and to enjoy the history. Unfortunately, our waiter disappeared mid meal and never even let us know. The white wine was good and the chicken pot pie was average. The atmosphere was amazing, and we eventually flagged down someone to take over our table. He was very nice and apologize for our person leaving for the day. Someone should really organize that type of thing better because it was a bit ridiculous to just be sitting and waiting forever. Historic place and I’m glad we stopped in, but probably will not go back again.

4 Star Rating Great food, great whiskey, and zero reservations, literally. This tavern is NYC's oldest and it ended up being a surprisingly wonderful birthday lunch spot. We walked in with no reservation at peak lunchtime and somehow still got a table for five. We also had no idea it was the anniversary of Evacuation Day (November 25, 1783), when British troops finally left NYC and Washington paraded in and had dinner at there, so we accidentally walked straight into reenactors, demos, and a whole crowd reliving history right outside the door. Inside, the tavern has that historic wood-and-holiday-decor charm without forcing anyone to romanticize colonialism. We sat in the Independence section and ordered from their online menu which is section-specific. The food was great, especially mine. My Oysters were fresh and sand-free. My Irish Coffee was hot, strong, and blessed with whiskey that could fix anyone's mood. Then my Chicken Pot Pie was easily the best version I ever tasted. Hubs' Reuben had great flavor even if the meat was a little chewy. He still finished it, so that says something. Service was friendly and checked in often. NOTES/TIPS: **Consider touring the Fraunces Tavern Museum which right next to it. ~$10 fee. Revolution-era artifacts, paintings, documents, and recreations. **Wheelchair-accessibility is mixed.

2 Star Rating The store itself is fine enough, the staff is the real problem. While they were decent with me they burnt the churro, the sandwich had a pitiful amount of meat, the sandwich price was ridiculous (tho I know that can be a Subway in general issue) and they were yelling at an employee for making the most minor of mistakes. It's an almost passable place to get a sandwich but with so many better options in the neighborhood (there's like 3 other better Subways in spitting distance) it's so much worse in comparison.

While it’s primarily a convenient location for my work, the quality of the food and the service is excellent. Fresh ingredients and tasty dishes are what bring me back a few times a week. Two employees, in particular, deserve a shoutout: Kayla and John. They’ve been there for quite some time, and I really appreciate their professionalism, speed, and friendly demeanor. No matter how busy it gets around lunchtime, they always make time for small talk. If I could change one thing on the menu, I would bring back black beans. We were so happy w our meal and pleasantly surprised by the great prices and generous portions.

5 Star Rating The food was great, the best I had of Indian food. It was very tasty with a variety of options. The service was also exceptional. We plan on going again. Thank you, Christopher.

4 Star Rating This is the second time I've been here because the amount of food you get for the price makes it worth it. It's decent food at an affordable price that will leave you feeling satisfied. The staff have been super friendly and attentive to my needs both times I have visited I went for the pre-fix lunch special and got an order of Butter Chicken with aromatic basmati rice, Cocktail samosa (veggie), Garlic naan, and Mango Lassi for under $25. Food: Butter Chicken: I told the waiter to make it on the spicier side when I placed my order but I received the opposite. It was on the sweeter side which was okay but just a little disappointing. The butter chicken was flavorful and had a nice creamy mouth feel. I did find it to be more on the tomato-y side which overpowered the rest of the spices. The chicken wasn't dry and had great flavors. It was pretty decent but again I wish it had a little more heat to it. The basmati rice - although fragrant and tasty it could have been a bit softer with a little more moisture. 4.5/5 Garlic Naan: By far one of the best garlic naan I've tasted in a very long time. The dough was fully cooked through, super soft with crispy pockets, and the garlic was not too overpowering. 5/5 Cocktail Samosa: The exterior was light, crispy, and golden to perfection. The insides were stuffed with lightly seasoned potatoes and peas. The stuffing could have used more seasoning, although I did taste the cardamon a lot of the other spices didn't come through. What really saved this appetizer for me was the mint sauce (hari sauce), it was bright, fresh, and brought it all together. The tamarind sauce was too sweet for me and just sort of sat there. 4/5 Mango Lassi: This drink was sweet, sour, and extra thiccc. It was creamy and delicious, but it did take me at least 10 minutes to get it all down. Luckily I had a glass of water near by to help it go down with ease. 4/5 Service: Very friendly staff that will check in on you once in a little while to make sure everything is to your liking. Decor: Dimly lit restaurant with a clean and cozy atmosphere. Plenty of space for large and small groups. The restrooms were cleaned and well maintained. Overall I did enjoy my food, I left with a full belly and satisfied with my order. The prices are affordable for the area and the food is decent. I'll def visit Aahar again!
