As one of the best bars in NY, I was looking forward to this place. It’s packed, but I still was able to get a table and order food and drinks relatively fast. The Doctors Orders was amazing, a true fall drink, and their signature coffee drinks were all great. The food was good for a “pub”, unfortunately I dint get a chance to access the second floor, so have to come back for that. Staff was friendly and attentive.

I stopped in on a late Friday afternoon for a drink and was not disappointed. Friendly crowd a bit packed in, but everyone getting along.
Had a Taking Liberties and thoroughly enjoyed it. Followed that with a pint. Made some friends.
Came back the next day for a drink and a snack. Iced Irish coffee is perfect for a hot day.
I love, love that their TVs and be pushed up to the ceiling and lit if the way when there's no special game on. Perfect adaptation. No notes.

What a fun place! Great pub atmosphere, a full menu, with lots of cocktail choices. And of course plenty of beers. Excellent and cheerful bartender. And good food. We got the gem lettuce Ceasar which was great. Some oysters. And their version of the Reuben (Cole slaw instead of sauerkraut). I still prefer Sauron’s this was very tasty. Hard to get reservations but on a Friday at noon we were able to get seats at the bar.

I literally took a bite of this grilled salmon and just had to say it’s cooked to perfection! I am absolutely delighted and flabbergasted to have tasted such delicious salmon. The non-alcoholic cocktail were also really taste and not just some frizzy drink mixed. Place was packed but I was still able to find a place to sit. The waitress that helped me with my order was really nice. Would definitely come back again!

Yes they offer the best Irish coffee (and derivatives) on NYC. If you love tiramisu, the Irish coffee tiramisu is a must try.
This is one of my world top10bar.
Good food, good drink. Always cheers me up.
Parlor Room has a better quality in cocktail. Tap room is good for beer, as it sounds. Great service.

I recently visited the Chipotle near Battery Park in Manhattan and was disappointed with the experience. The portion size was noticeably smaller compared to other Chipotle locations, especially in California where I live. Even though it’s the same chain, the serving felt much less generous here.
Additionally, the soda machine wasn’t working properly — none of the drinks had carbonation. It felt like drinking sweet, flat water, which was very unpleasant. I mentioned it to the staff, but they didn’t seem concerned and didn’t take any real action to fix it or notify a manager. It gave me the impression that customer feedback isn’t taken seriously at this location.

Worst place to go! The serving person will ignore all what you are trying to say and just be in their own world to pack you for the bill.
They are like interns in office space with no experience. Attitude was at a different level. Start the serve and leave the customer in the middle of serving and ignore.
They packed my bowl with rice as if I had asked for more. No cream no salsa. Dumbo!! I wish I had got my money back as we get in California.
—————— Update. ———-
Went back and they replaced it.

Great Indian spot in Fidi! Nothing fancy just good, solid food and nice service. Their garlic naan was incredible and the chicken curry was juicy and flavorful. There was no wait when we arrived (albeit early dinner on a weekend) but the place definitely filled up as we got into the 6/6:30 range.

The food here tastes really good and authentic – definitely gives you that desi flavor you’re looking for in the city. The restaurant is cozy and nicely decorated, with a decent seating area. However, the prices are on the higher side, and they charged us an extra $15 as a “party fee” even though we were just 5 people, which felt a bit unreasonable. Worth trying for the food, but just be prepared for extra charges.

One of the best Biryani. My trip to NYC made memorable by Bombay’s food and hospitality. Crew were very accommodating to our food requirements.

This place is great for lunch and also catering orders. I ordered lunch for 60 people, they helped me well plan the menu, payment system is seamless and they give you a heads up call and got delivered sharply at 11.45am as per my instructions for 12pm lunch. Perfect! Highly recommend and will order again.
Also the lunch buffet is amazing

Bombay’s Pearl Street in New York offers an exceptional dining experience with its blend of authentic Indian flavors and modern ambiance. The restaurant is known for its warm, inviting atmosphere, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions. Their menu features a wide variety of dishes, all made with high-quality ingredients and bold spices.
A must-try is the paneer tikka, a rich and flavorful dish with spicy, tandoori paste. If you're looking for something milder, the Butter Chicken is a crowd favorite, with its creamy tomato sauce and perfectly cooked chicken that’s both comforting and satisfying.
For those who enjoy vegetarian options, the Palak paneer is a standout—creamy spinach with cubes of fresh paneer, offering a delightful combination of textures and flavors.
The service at Bombay’s Pearl Street is consistently attentive, and the portions are generous. Whether you're new to Indian cuisine or a seasoned fan, Bombay’s offers a memorable experience with a mix of traditional and contemporary takes on Indian classics. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy flavorful, authentic Indian dishes in a lively setting.

When I worked downtown, I used to love getting lunch at Flavors. They make amazing paninis, but they also have a salad bar and a pasta bar. They also have seating upstairs.
Today I had the Eggplant Frita (eggplant, avocado, pickled jalapenos and onions, oven dried tomatoes, queso fresco and chipotle spread). So different and a great flavor combination.

I love visiting Irish pubs, especially those that have such a rich history, like the White Horse Tavern. When entering, you are greeted so warmly by the staff, and the overall atmosphere of the bar is very inviting.
Since I now work in the area, I stopped in just for a quick bite and drink, so I just ordered a Dark and Stormy, a Chicken Quesadilla, and the Onion Rings. Everything was really good and the prices here are very decent for this area. They have a good-sized food and drinks menu and plenty of seating on multiple floors. My server, who I unfortunately didn't get her name, was so nice and very attentive throughout my meal.
I will definitely make it a point to come back again in the near future for food and drinks.

What a great hangout type bar.. Some would call it a dive bar... not me.. it's not fancy or new... it's a step back in time when a bar was a bar... it's not pretending to be an Irish pub or some hipster horsesh!#.
I LOVE IT and so will you.
More than fair $$ too...

I’m happy to say I’d be doing business with Potbelly for every office event that requires catering! My team and I hosted an event today and I had the pleasure of organizing the perfect Luncheon thanks to Shanta and Claire! This Location has a great team. They packaged our Large bundle for 10 perfectly with ample condiments, and a great assortment of chips and cookies. A 10/10 experience, I highly recommend for your next office gathering, charitable event or conference meeting!

I visit this location every single day and i must say reading these reviews i really think people just don’t appreciate this staff here, the management team itself amazing you can tell that Shanta makes sure she sets her team up for the day. I speak to her everyday when I’m there and she’s always smiling and putting her team on point, her managers under her you can tell they have the up most respect for her because when she’s out it still feel like she’s there. Everyone at this location deserves a raise and some more. Day after day they manage to handle huge amount of catering, i one time spoke to Shanta and she stated she was in at 3-4 am and her shift didn’t start until 8am and was not off work til 7pm i don’t know about anyone else but that’s dedication. Please get to know the staff before you judge them you don’t know the day they may have had. People should understand “CUSTOMERS ARE NOT ALWAYS RIGHT” the food is always fresh, hot and tasty. Don’t listen and read the reviews people lie when they don’t get their way. I’ve witnessed customers get nasty and rude for no reason and i bet it’s because people read these reviews. The shop is always clean from the walls to the floors and restroom by far the cleanest location out of all of the I’ve visited. All i can say is keep up the good work. If i was to ever walk in and hear Shanta or the others no longer work there ill stop eating at potbelly for good.

I dined here a few days ago and tried their falafel bowl with rice and I really loved it! The falafel was very delicious, even though it wasn’t freshly made or warm. The bowl also came with a small pita bread on the side, which was a nice touch. The portion size was generous and filling. Overall, a great value and tasty meal. Highly recommend!

This fantastic spot is located downstairs in the New York Plaza building. It's one of the many food gems in this little food court, and I was really impressed by the quick service, welcoming staff, and relaxed vibe. I had the chicken shawarma bowl with rice, super greens, pickled turnips and cucumbers, fluffy garlic sauce, a yogurt-cucumber mix, olives, fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, and a kick of red sauce. It was so flavorful and satisfying!
Joe Donald - 3 months ago
It’s really not worth $14. The store manager was nice enough to add some rice but this is outrageous to have half a box filled up. When I asked them the first time, they confidently said that’s enough of chicken shawarma. Really disappointed as this used to be my go to place for lunch. Sadly won’t be returning here.
Neha Sardana - 10 months ago
Food is good, Falafel and Shawarma bowels, close to Battery Park.
One draw back is they don’t serve regular/tap water to its customers even on a request, you need to buy bottled water, if I know I would have choose Chipotle over this place, which is just next door to it, where at least they have water for customers.

Had to try Chipotle after the many recommendations. Had the Burrito Bowl with everything. Not the biggest fan of their hot salsa. The portion was huge and the food was okay. Lots of options for vegetarians at budget friendly prices and decent flavors. Also lots of branches of Chipotle across NYC. Definitely makes for a great meal option, while on the go!

My recent visit to Fraunces Tavern was both enlightening and satisfying, greatly enhanced by the exceptional guidance of Melissa, the tour guide. Her knowledge and passion for history made the museum tour an unforgettable experience. Melissa expertly brought the Revolutionary era to life, ensuring that each exhibit and artifact was both informative and engaging.
Following the insightful museum tour, I stayed for dinner. The restaurant delivered a delightful dining experience, with classic American dishes that were well-prepared and flavorful. The historical ambiance of the tavern added to the charm, creating a perfect setting for a memorable meal.
Overall, Fraunces Tavern provided a seamless blend of educational enrichment and culinary satisfaction, making it a must-visit for those interested in American history and great food. Special thanks to Melissa for making the tour truly outstanding!

Fraunces Tavern in NYC is a true gem, a historic restaurant older than the United States itself! Knowing that George Washington dined here added such a special vibe to our meal. The chicken pot pie was a standout—hearty, flavorful, and a must-try, just as George Washington reportedly enjoyed. My only disappointment was the limited oyster selection; they only offer one kind, which was a bit of a letdown for an oyster lover. The service was warm and the atmosphere steeped in history. Don’t miss the upstairs museum, where you can stand in the Long Room where George Washington said farewell to his generals in 1783—it’s a fascinating glimpse into the American Revolution. If you’re looking for a historic restaurant in NYC with great food and George Washington history, Fraunces Tavern is a must-visit!

The oldest building in Manhattan, erected in 1719. They have an in depth museum on the upper floors that highlight the 300 year history of the building. The food is also delicious. The clam chowder was great — a bit of an unorthodox decision to serve it with bread instead of oyster crackers, but it worked. The NY strip was also very good, just a tad bit too chewy at times. The whole vibe is very rustic in the building, and they have several dining rooms. But I would still recommend making a reservation because they always fill up quickly.

A Fantastic Dining Experience!
I had an absolutely delicious lunch here! The truffle fries were outstanding—crispy, flavorful, and a must-try. The atmosphere was wonderful, blending charm and history seamlessly, and the service was just as impressive. This spot has deep historical ties to a few founding fathers it is a must-visit for any history buff exploring NYC.
On top of the great food and ambiance, the staff went above and beyond. My cell service was spotty in the city, and after my meal, the hostess kindly helped me with directions. That level of hospitality truly made my experience even better. Highly recommend!

Spectacular setting for history buff tourists in New York. Unfortunately, the museum was closed when we arrived, so we decided to eat at the Whiskey Bar for dinner instead. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful. I had the Organic Chipotle Bison Burger, which was one of the best bison burgers I’ve ever had. The drinks were flawless. If you want a quick, memorable dinner in the Financial District, this is the best place to be.
