5 Star Rating Artichoke Basille’s Pizza has some really delicious pizza. I had the margherita pizza, and it was so flavorful and fresh. I also tried the artichoke pizza, which was so good and creamy. I honestly didn’t think I would like the artichoke pizza at first, but it ended up being really delicious and my favorite. This place is very popular and gets packed, even around 1 PM. The good thing is you can either sit inside or order it to go.

5 Star Rating It’s an amazing place for their speciality artichoke pizza. There are other options which was good too I personally liked the crab pizza. Street parking available but don’t count on it. Walkable from Washington square park , there are couple of seating available for dining in but best bet is takeaway. Would def recommend and come back.

5 Star Rating Worth every penny of the $7 and some change artichoke slice. Insanely good. Somehow smooth creamy but not runny. Tasted like the best part of artichoke dip on top of delicious pizza crust. Ten out of ten would never walk by a location and not get a slice. Crazy good in a city with good cheap slices already.

4 Star Rating I went to Blue Note with four friends to see a jazz band, and the performance was incredible — a true New York jazz experience. I had booked bar seats because I knew they were the more affordable option. My friends entered a bit earlier, and the waiter seated them at a table, saying it was better than the bar. When I arrived, we were told we could keep the table for an extra $20 per person, plus a $25 minimum. The view was great, but the extra charge felt unexpected. The drinks were excellent, and the music was outstanding. The only downside was that the room was quite cold — we kept our jackets on during the show. Overall, a memorable night with fantastic music, but a few details could be improved.

4 Star Rating Blue Note has long ago secured it's place in Jazz history internationally, and continues to showcase the best of the best. There is a $20 minimum at the bar, which is limited and also all the way to the side, so don't expect to get good views. The sound system is excellent, though, and the food good. If you love the artist you're going to see, spring for a table, get your tickets early, and get there early, as all seating is first-come first-served!

5 Star Rating If you want to enjoy a good jazz show definitely purchase the tickets for the tables but try to get there early like 1 hour before the show so you can eat and get the best seats for the show. It gets crowded but all the servers move fast. The tables are shared, so keep it in mind. The drinks were really good! The food was just ok. The live music was awesome. And by the end of the show everyone was dancing and enjoying themselves.

3 Star Rating The music was absolutely fantastic — truly top quality. If I were rating only the performance, it would easily be 5 stars. The musicians were incredible, and that’s honestly the only reason I’m giving 3 stars instead of less. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t match the level of the music. After paying $77 per ticket, we were seated extremely close to strangers — it was so crowded that it was hard to even breathe comfortably. There was barely any space to move. On top of that, there is a $20 per person minimum spend, which would be fine if the drinks were good — but the cocktails were very disappointing. The margaritas were honestly some of the worst we’ve had. I understand this is a popular venue and tickets will always sell, but a little more consideration for guests would make a big difference. Selling slightly fewer tickets or adding extra show dates with the same bands could create a much more enjoyable atmosphere. Live music should feel special and comfortable, not overcrowded. Again, the music was amazing — I just wish the overall experience matched the talent on stage.

4 Star Rating The renowned Blue Note has intimate seating for those who reserve tables. The atmosphere was charged. The sound was great. The service was amazing and efficient. My food was delicious. My only gripe is that they squeeze people in. Really, there should have been only six people to a table, not 8. Other than that, I truly enjoyed Louie Vega, the Elements of Life and Lisa Fischer. 🙌🏽🙌🏿🙌🏾

4 Star Rating Staff was wonderful - super friendly and helpful. And as a solo diner I was made to feel especially welcome which I always appreciate. The ambiance/vibe is a little too old school/corporate for me but I'm sure this is going to be a very popular spot for business/client dinners etc. I ordered the fish crudo (3 types), the vongole pasta, the zabaglioni and I had two glasses of wine. It was good but not remarkable. The highlight for me was the cheese served with the bread at the start of the meal. I believe it was mascarpone and it was absolutely scrumptious.

3 Star Rating The atmosphere here is elegant and sophisticated — exactly what you’d hope for from a restaurant of this caliber. The olive oil ice cream was a standout: creative, unique, and genuinely delicious. The pasta was also well-executed and satisfying. That said, three stars — and here’s why: the hostess who seated us was remarkably unfriendly. Not a single smile, no warmth, no basic courtesy throughout the entire interaction. For a restaurant at this level, that kind of coldness from the first person you encounter sets the wrong tone entirely. If management allows this to continue, it will tarnish the reputation this place has worked hard to build.

5 Star Rating One If by Land, Two If by Sea was absolutely spectacular. Walking in felt like stepping into a storybook—the soaring ceilings, glowing chandeliers, and beautiful holiday décor created the most magical atmosphere. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The escargot was perfectly prepared, the Beef Wellington was exceptional, the French onion consommé was rich and comforting, and the chocolate soufflé was the perfect ending. Every dish felt special. They offer both a three-course prix fixe and a seven-course tasting menu, which makes the experience feel even more elevated. Yes, it’s expensive—but absolutely worth it for a special occasion or a truly memorable night out. The pianist sat right in front of us and played so gently it felt like the music was floating in the background—elegant, intimate, and unforgettable. The service was impeccable, the cocktails were just as wonderful as the food, and the entire evening felt incredibly romantic. A truly unforgettable dining experience and easily one of the most romantic restaurants in New York.

3 Star Rating SUPER OVERPRICED! I overall like the restaurant! Dim lighting, piano, tables are so nice. Price is super high though! They force you to order 3 course meal which is 160$ for each person and at the end of the night we ended up paying 500 dollars for 2 people. I think it’s way too much for the food, service and experience we’ve received. It’s super overpriced. And our waiter smelled stinky.. he definitely needed a shower..unfortunately.

4 Star Rating Probably the most romantic restaurant we have been to in NYC. Recommend asking for the window seats overlooking the garden - so pretty. The food was good - we went for the 3 course fixed menu ($165 each) but the beef wellington was so large. Felt like we were paying for such a unnecessary portion that we ended up leaving half which felt so wasteful. We weren't coming away raving about the food and as everywhere in NYC it was expensive. You are more paying for the vibes and how romantic it is. There is live music which really added to the ambience. The service was good but felt over the top with multiple servers per table.

5 Star Rating This was undoubtedly one of the best Italian meals I’ve had since living in NYC! Highly recommend the carciofi fritti (fried calamari), arancini (risotto balls), ravioli Cacio e Pepe (very rich) and Candele Spezzate alla Genovese with GF pene (INCREDIBLE)!!! The La Vie en Rose cocktail was refreshing and the Brunello was delicious. The atmosphere at lunchtime was lovely and the staff were are super friendly. 5 Star Rating An Absolute West Village Gem! We just had the most magnificent lunch at Palma and I am still dreaming about it! This restaurant is a true destination. The design and decor are super charming—it feels like stepping into a sun-drenched Italian villa. We were lucky enough to dine in their outdoor covered patio space, and I highly recommend it. It was incredibly romantic and intimate, perfect for a special meal with my partner. We started by sharing the delectable tomato tart along with the radicchio and fig salad. Both were light, fresh, and beautifully executed, proving that even the simplest dishes here are crafted with care. For our main courses, the kitchen really shined: * My partner’s Chicken Milanese was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, and wonderfully moist and juicy inside. * My fresh cod was divine! It was served atop a rich hazelnut cream sauce and complemented by fresh, earthy chanterelle mushrooms. Every bite, from start to finish, was pure joy. Adding to the wonderful atmosphere was the welcoming and friendly hospitality of the staff, which made us feel completely at home. We loved our experience so much that we are already planning a return trip before we leave the city! We can’t recommend Palma enough for a delicious and memorable dining experience.

4 Star Rating I stopped by the Blind Tiger on a Thursday earlier in December and had a great time. I only had drinks, so I can’t comment on the food, but the bar itself was buzzing. It was absolutely packed and standing room only, and the bar was easily two to three people deep. Despite that, the bartenders were on point and had me a beer in under five minutes, which honestly exceeded my expectations. The hardest part was choosing what to drink because their beer list is massive. I started with a Tilted Barn Kölsch and followed it up with a Captain Lawrence Liquid Gold. I originally planned on just one beer, but there is a two beer minimum when using a credit card, and I had no complaints. I enjoyed some good music and caught the Knicks game on TV while enjoying the music. Next time I am in this part of NYC, I will definitely be back to explore more of their impressive beer menu, hopefully with a little more elbow room!

5 Star Rating My favorite bar in NYC, hands down. I came here for the first time a few years ago when I was getting big into craft beer, and had heard that one the best tap lists in the world was here. It has never disappointed, and I’ve been back about 15 times. The variety and selection is always incredible. Maine Beer Company, Grimm, The Alchemist, Other Half, Hudson Valley, you name it. And tons of more niche microbreweries, local and otherwise. The bartenders are always super nice. I’m a Mets fan and they put on the games sometimes. There’s a family tree of beers on the wall that I could stare at for an hour. And they give you a plaque on the wall if you ask a bartender to join the connoisseur club and drink 50 beers over time. Still on my way in that regard! Be aware it can get extremely crowded at peak hours. Usually it’s not too bad for happy hour or later at night, and any non-weekend day is pretty spacious, but 10pm on a Friday can be pretty slammed. Regardless, if you find yourself in the neighborhood and have the time, stop by and try a couple new beers!

5 Star Rating Really great little slice. We got a pepperoni with cherry peppers(phenomenal, sweet, pickled, nice spicey kick), and black olives. Crust, the crust was cooked to perfection with the right amount of char for a brick and charcoal oven. Our waiter Chris M was fantastic, fast and accommodating, had our water out within seconds, and grabbed me some parmesean with a smile on his face. The atmosphere was dimly lit(a plus) and had photos of famous people headshots adorning the walls. The tables were well weathered, with names of years worth of patrons lovingly carved into the top. What a great little spot.

The crudo vegetables had a lot of inherent extra flavor, almost as if you took a normal vegetable, dehydrated, and rehydrated, but somehow didn't lose any of the texture. There's one dish that was some scallop and beet thing, I can't remember the details, but ooh boy that had good punch to go with the seafood's depth. I'd never seen shellfish with I think sweet potato, that was a tremendous change. The salinity and meatiness of the mussels were better than other proteins for the sweetness of the sweet potato. The leeks were well known to be good and same for the potato with its crispiness and inside creaminess. The service was excellent, especially for being last meal of the night. They took care of us without bothering us, the right balance. I think everyone knows to go here, but the way I would put it is that this is a two Michelin star restaurant unless you are biased to sharp and novel canapes

3 Star Rating The place has a beautiful and cozy ambience and the service was great. The first course of our meal was fantastic and set high expectations - the crème fraiche and buckwheat soil was so delicious I could eat that everyday. Unfortunately the later courses were a bit of a let down for us. The leeks were too tough, the raw chicory was too bitter and not sufficiently complemented by the sauces, the turmeric ice cream was interesting at best. The focus was on featuring the fresh produce and I think they did a good job at that.

4 Star Rating Farm to table executed with confidence. Haven’t had so many raw vegetables in one meal in a while and it was all great. Surprisingly filling by the end they did a great job portioning each course to ensure no one walked away hungry. Haven’t been to the actual farm but heard it’s quite an experience. Service was professional and attentive. Vibe was fine but nothing really unique about the feel of the venue. Final verdict: would return to try a new menu and recommend!

5 Star Rating This has to be one of the best Michelin-starred meals I've ever had in NYC. I randomly went for lunch because I'm trying to visit every Michelin spot in the city, and honestly I don't know why it took me so long to finally get to Blue Hill. The restaurant is tucked away in the cutest neighborhood, and the interior has a Scandinavian-meets-farmhouse vibe that feels clean, calm, and cozy. As soon as I sat down, it felt warm and homey in the best way. Lunch is $85 for a three-course menu, and I highly recommend it. There's no printed menu; they simply bring you what's in season, which I loved since I'm in my veggie era. Leave the thinking to them. First Course: We started with a plate of raw radishes, baby turnips, rye crisps, and an herbed crème fraîche dip topped with dill. Simple but so fresh. The only thing I didn't love was the crackers, which had a bit of a cardboard-like mouthfeel. Then came a seasonal vegetable broth with squash, greens, and a dollop of crème fraîche. It was genuinely one of the best soups I've had anywhere Second Course: The main course came with a perfectly balanced little gem salad, roasted carrots, the creamiest mashed potato purée, slices of homemade whole-grain bread, and a flaky, crusty meat pie that was rich and comforting. Everything tasted super seasonal and thoughtful. Dessert: We finished with a warm apple crumble topped with a silky, tangy cream. The perfect ending. Blue Hill completely exceeded my expectations. The food is incredibly clean, seasonal, and well-executed, and the space is beautiful. I'd absolutely come back, especially at such a reasonable price point.

5 Star Rating This is also New York trip. Love New York because there are many great restaurants there. Hubby took me here to celebrate my bday. It wasn’t disappointed. Restaurant was very cozy inside, also there was an outdoor patio as well, full bar, food and veggies were fresh. This restaurant was featured on Netflix for the Chef’s Table Series and the Chef on this restaurant was on there. Staffs were nice, the whole dining experience was nice. Flavor was very different than I have tasted anywhere else. Unique. There are streets parking, but like I said we uber everywhere in New York. We always make rsvp so there wasn’t a wait for us. It’s a prefixed menu with just $150 per person and with wine pairing was additional $95. Very decent for New York

5 Star Rating Every New Yorker has a pizza opinion, and today I went straight to one of the legends. 🍕 Joe's Pizza in Greenwich Village has been serving up authentic NYC slices since 1975, and after one bite of their original plain slice, I understood why tourists and locals keep lining up. The plain slice was everything a New York slice should be—simple, crispy, cheesy, and absolutely perfect. Then my sons convinced me to step outside my comfort zone and order a mushroom and sausage slice. Not gonna lie, I was skeptical. One bite later, I was wondering where this combo has been my entire life. Outstanding. Lesson learned: Sometimes your kids actually know what they're talking about... but don't tell them I said that. 😂🍕 #JoesPizza #NYCPizza #GreenwichVillage

5 Star Rating The real deal: New York pizza at its absolute best Joe's Pizza is as close to a New York institution as it gets. Open since 1975 and still going strong, this is the benchmark by which all New York pizza should be judged. The slices are perfectly proportioned: thin, foldable crust with just the right amount of chew, a rich and well seasoned tomato sauce and cheese that pulls exactly as it should. Simple, unpretentious and executed to perfection every single time. The line moves fast and the whole experience is quintessentially New York. Grab your slice, fold it and eat it on the street like a local. Cash is king here so come prepared. Prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality and the location makes it easy to combine with a walk around one of Manhattan's most charming neighbourhoods. No frills, no gimmicks, just the best pizza slice in the city. An absolute must.

5 Star Rating Tried Joe’s Pizza in the West Village for the second time and honestly, really solid New York style pizza. It’s that classic NYC slice: thin crust, slightly crispy on the bottom, soft enough to fold, simple tomato sauce and melted cheese. Nothing fancy, just done right. There are definitely better pizzas out there if you start comparing top spots, but for around $30 for a large pie, it’s a very good deal, especially in Manhattan. What makes this location stand out for me is the vibe. Way better than Times Square, less touristy, more chill, you can actually enjoy your food without chaos around you. You grab a slice basically instantly, and even if you order a whole pizza, it comes out in under 8 minutes, which is impressive. Came back here for a second time and that says a lot. It’s consistent, quick, and just hits the spot when you’re in the area. It’s the kind of place where you don’t overthink it, you just walk in, order, eat, and leave satisfied. Perfect for a quick stop while walking around West Village. Definitely worth visiting. Just don’t go in expecting some life changing, gourmet pizza. It’s more about a very solid, classic slice and the whole New York experience.

5 Star Rating Joe's Pizza 7 Carmine st, NY NY 10014 Joe's is undoubtedly a staple Pizzaria of Greenwich Village. Thin & flavorful and almost always open! Joe's, being open at 10am til 3am- you can enjoy Joe's for breakfast at 10am, Lunch at 3pm & dinner at 8pm and repeat! They have real glass coke bottles ready to add to your slice for the perfect combination! It can get very busy but they have a commando team of Pizza pros hammering out pies served by the slice or box! Parking can get a little tricky but it's worth the trip!

3 Star Rating Cash only, $5.50 for pepperoni slice and $4.50 for regular. Customer service is apathetic, no greetings. I did take out and they barely had the pizza in the oven for a minute before handing it to me. No napkins. The pizza is ok, not a bad pizza, nice cheese to sauce ratio. Sauce is slightly sweet and tangy. Good crust, it was a good pizza, just not $5.50/$4.50 worth in my opinion.
