Overall, it was a pleasant experience since I've always wanted to check out this place after it reopened. The steak was definitely top quality, and the server was also very attentive. However, I don't think this place is exceptionally special. It’s just a nice and sophisticated place to enjoy the steak, but nothing too special. Also, the price of the steak is pretty expensive. It's a good place for special occasions. Honestly cesar salad was the only dish that I'd recommend lol and still Cesar salad was too expensive as well

The experience was truly amazing 👍The steak boasts a tender and rich flavor that I find incredibly satisfying. I favor it cooked medium-rare, and this restaurant nails it perfectly. It practically melts in my mouth! The appetizer options are also really impressive. The vibe of the restaurant is fantastic, and the service is top-notch. I will certainly return!🫶🏻💕

Great dinner at The Capital Grille — the steak was perfectly cooked and soft as butter, tuna tartare was full of flavor, sides and salads etc all fresh and tasty.
Great service too!

What says "I love you" more than going to a steakhouse with your person? I figured that this would be quickly booked for Valentine's Day so I booked a month or so in advance. We were seated in a lovely secluded booth and the service was amazing! Loved the atmosphere, ambiance and it wasn't noisy.
For starters we ordered the Tuna Tartar with avocado, mango, and sriracha, which was phenomenal! It really set the bar up there. It was the best tuna tartar I've ever had! For the entree's we had the Porcini-Rubbed bone in Ribeye with the 15 year aged Balsamic, and the Double cut Lamb Rib Chops with mint Gremolata and honey crusted, served with a white wine and shallots jus. We also enjoyed the Au Gratin potatoes and the Creamed Spinach. We also enjoyed the Mango Royale for the drink! It was lovely!
The Ribeye was great, I've never had a steak with a 15 year aged Balsamic, so we were curious ... A little over priced for my taste but, it's all about location. The Lamb was a little overdone for me personally, but otherwise I enjoyed the flavor. We loved the creamed spinach and the Au Gratin... Amazing! We finished off our meal with the Creme Brulee, including raspberries, black berries and blueberries.
Our servers really made us feel welcomed, took pictures of us and were very accommodating. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.
I would love to try them in a different location! I will definitely be back!

As a chain Steakhouse, Capital Grille continues to deliver more or less. Everything was AOK, very good service and good food at your atypical NYC steakhouse prices (not cheap). This was our first time at this location which has an old school classic feel, oak wood, high ceilings, laid back, etc.. We got your typical steakhouse fare, sides - fries, asparagus, lobster mac and steaks of course, lol. It was good though to be honest nothing to rave about.
The acoustics are not the best and where we were seated might as well have been sitting with the table next to us with how loud their conversation was; doubt they even realized it. Not sure why they felt the need to seat us right next to a full table when the section was practically empty. The Female staff and servers were all friendly, professional and more than efficient; really outstanding. No regrets on the visit, but doubt will visit again anytime soon.

This review is just a bit long overdue. March 21st, 2013, was the first and only time I visited this establishment before moving out of NYC. Today, my son and I worked on a salmon recipe a little out of the ordinary, and I was recounting to him and my wife that the last time I tried salmon this outside the box was at this restaurant. It was an unexpectedly pleasant surprise, and I always remember this salmon dish because it was like nothing I had ever tasted before, nor since. The ambiance of the restaurant was unique and cool from what I recall, and next time I’m in Manhattan, I hope to try it again. Regarding the timeliness of the review, I guess better late than never.

This is an old bank vault converted to a restaurant. The risotto was great. The duck was slightly over cooked, but still good. If you are in the financial district this is a great place to stop for a drink. The bar and drink prices were reasonable.

I’m really happy with my experience at Trinity Place! The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable about gluten-free options. They even have a separate gluten-free menu with a great variety of starters and main dishes. I had the tuna tartare and the salmon — both were absolutely delicious! They come with gluten-free bread, but can also be served with regular bread on the side for those who don’t need to eat gluten-free. For the main course, I had the duck risotto, which was spectacular. They also offer gluten-free drinks like beer. Everything was incredibly tasty, and best of all, my stomach felt great afterwards!

We went with 2 friends to enjoy Happy Hour at this place that is incredible for its history and preservation, the drink and food options for Happy Hour are very limited, the woman at the bar was very rude, not friendly at all, we ordered 2 cocktails and told her that later we would have beer to accompany the mini hamburgers and nachos with guacamole, this bartender served all the drinks together and uncorked all the beers, when we asked why she had uncorked them she was very rude responding that she didn't care if we hadn't finished and that it was a rule of the place, we had to cover the mouths of the bottles with a napkin so they wouldn't lose flavor, the male waiters and the other bartender were very friendly, I congratulate you guys for your excellent service.

My employer rented out the bar and restaurant for our annual holiday party, and it did not disappoint. First, the entrance is right across from Zucotti Park, which was lit most beautifully for the holidays. The entrance can be. Bit ticky to find but is about mid way down on Cedar by the park. The decor is definitely unusual, with large bank vault doors, a lot of dark woodwork, gleaming fixtures, and low lighting. We have a fixed menu that was spectacular. Unfortunately I don't know if the menu was comprised of fare that they normally serve or not but if our options were comparable to other offerings on the normal menu, then you'll definitely have a.spectacular meal waiting for you. Also, given that my employer was paying, I have no idea of the overall costs, but given the quality of the food, bar, and service, I would think that the prices would reflect that.

This restaurant is right next to where I live super convenient. I came with work once and decided to take my family here (it's their first time in NY). It was the hottest day in NY 100f and we forgot about the dress code (pants) but they were super nice about it and let us sit without going back to get changed.
The service was super great here. Our server was very nice and made sure our water cups were always filled and paid very close attention to how we wanted to order (since we had 6 ppl and wanted to share some of the food we got)
The Delmonico steak my brother ordered medium rare was overcooked (compared to the same medium rare Delmonico my husband got). Our server immediate took it back to the kitchen and took it off our bill (since we didn't want a new one). That's the only complain I had but they resolved it well.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place if you want a good steak. The portions were big so sharing one between two people is good. All the side dishes were delicious as well. The crab cake and baked Alaska is a must try

Finally — a steakhouse in NYC that gets it right. Perfectly cooked, beautifully seared, and properly seasoned steaks. And no salt and pepper on the table, for good reason: you won’t need it!
The regular signature cut, wet-aged, is more tender than what you’ll get at Morton’s; cut with butter knife. Both sides had that flawless, crusty black sear most steakhouses fail to deliver on.
The lobster, unfortunately, was a huge miss — chalky texture and a fishy taste; just not fresh. Skip it. Stick with the steak and you’ll leave happy.
The roasted chicken was surprisingly excellent: moist, well-seasoned, and far from the afterthought it usually is at steakhouses.
The Caesar salad was solid, though it still doesn’t dethrone the one at Iron Gate in Belmont, CA. Golden Steer in Las Vegas comes close, but nothing has topped that Caesar yet.
If you're coming here, stick to what they do best: Steak. You won’t regret it!
P.S. delicious, creamy butter for bread.

Excellent !! I highly recommend it. We tried few dishes and they were all tasty. The STAR was the Porter House and Ribeye. Salads were delicious and the side dishes as well. Wine selection was just huge for different tastes and budgets. Service was friendly and very professional. The ambiance is just great with beautiful decorations and acceptable noise level which give a nice energy to the place .

What an incredible and beautiful spot. This forerunner for ALL fine dining in America is a must while making one reservations within the isle of manhattan. The wedge salad was so well presented and the kind staff that accompanied it. So many kind people and everyone knew the menu inside and out. I recommend THE Delamonico’s Burger (Medium Rare) while paired with a solid Syrah. I recommend ending the meal with one of this restaurants inventions. A Baked Alaska. Which was formerly known as a Hawaiian Alaskan due to the heated flambé exterior and frozen interior celebrating both climates of both at the time newly acquired states to the Union at the time. Delmonico’s is also responsible for creating Chicken A La Keen, Lobster Newburg and Eggs Benedict. Also, a smart hack is to get the right-when-they-open 12noon Lunch Reservation, this way you an be in this beautiful dining room before its gets buys and honor all the art and decor throughout. Next time I would love to see the wine cellar if they will let me. Such history and one of the reasons dining in our amazing country is phenomenal. Enjoy! and Bon Appetite!

Food impeccable- giant prawns, Caesar salad, surf n turf, ribeye and filet mignon, with asparagus and creamed spinach, baked Alaska, scoop of ice cream, glass of wine. Service by support staff excellent- never an empty water glass or napkin not folded and placed on the table when one in our party went to the bathroom. Our waiter Phillip provided excellent individualized service when he had fewer tables. When the table of 6 was added to his table of 5, our table of 3, and another couple of tables of twos he had, he could only do so much. His service was still very good - he provided a celebratory scoop of ice cream plated with message for our graduate/ birthday person. The time between the later courses and reengagement with Phillip was greater than expected. We still had a delightful experience.

The restaurant is small, but the staff is friendly and the food tastes great! During my visit, we had the Carne Asada and the Chicken Enchilada. This is a ground floor establishment with no stairs at the entrance, making it wheel chair friendly. There are vegetarian options on the menu, and the staff is accommodating. Their Pina Colada also tasted great.

Lovely little spot with plenty of character! We stopped in for brunch and left very satisfied. Fair prices and the workers made me feel welcomed from the minute I stepped in. The girlfriend is vegan which can be a nightmare when eating out. However, they are very accommodating with the menu and she was able to eat. The meal was worth every dollar. Ivan, our server, was wonderful and very helpful. Do yourself a favor and stop by if you're in the area!

We had breakfast here on most of the days we were in NYC as it was a great spot, serving honest simple food which tasted great and set us up for busy days of sightseeing.
Classic American refill drip coffee was plentiful and good quality.
Even when it was busy the service was efficient, warm and friendly, remembering our drinks orders and offering helpful advice!
Definitely a spot to visit for breakfast/brunch.

I visited George's several times during my recent trips to NYC, and honestly, it never disappointed. It's a great little spot, perfect for breakfast or lunch—simple, consistent, and exactly what you'd want from a place you're happy to keep returning to. Staff were friendly, the food was always good, and I genuinely looked forward to going back each time. Definitely recommend George's if you're in the area.

this has exceeded my expectations especially in terms of what diners are. normally dingers are a little dingy and food is scrumptious and delicious but you just take it as it is- George’s is homey and warm, it makes you comfortable and is just absolutely delightful.
Never in my life have I had a pancake served to me where my syrup was warmed with thought and care like? I was ??? Oh?? And the pancakes actually were made with strawberries and not just strawberries on top?
I feel safe and cared for- the staff, who were mainly middle aged to elderly were absolutely the sweetest too?
10/10 would recommend, maybe even 100/10 LMAO. but a note- just stick to diner menu cause that’s their specialty honestly

My family and I saw this place on our visit in New York and decided to give it a try. One of the worst decisions ever. The food was bland. My son in-law had the patty melt and sent it back because there was no type of seasoning. My daughter and I had the chicken wings. They wings were pre-breaded that they must had cooked in the oven and then tossed in sauce. My grandson had the burger and a milkshake; which tasted kind of good, but he was extra hungry. The one good thing I can say is the staff was extra nice. As we got through the door we pre-ordered chicken tenders for my granddaughter who is autistic and she doesn't understand waiting for her food; the staff was kind enough to get her food out quickly.

I stopped by Pret a Manager at 5:00 pm, which apparently is equivalent to arriving at a party after the music has stopped and the snacks are gone. I mean, I've seen more extensive menus on a fridge magnet.
But hey, I wasn't entirely unlucky! I scored a delicious yogurt without sugar - because, let's be real, who needs sugar when you're already feeling bitter about the limited options?
In all seriousness, I'm sure Pret a Manager is a great spot...in the morning. Maybe I'll try my luck then. Until next time, I'll just have to pretend I'm on a sugar-free, option-less diet.
P.S. If you're a morning bird, go for it! If you're a afternoon snacker like me...well, may the odds be ever in your favor.

Reserve Cut is known for its steaks, but what really caught us off guard—in the best way—was the sushi. As an appetizer, we had a sushi selection that was truly exceptional: fresh, balanced, and beautifully presented. Honestly, it was the kind of sushi you'd expect from a dedicated Japanese restaurant, not a steakhouse. Major kudos for that surprise.
For the main course, we shared two tomahawks, and they were done perfectly—juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The overall experience was fantastic, with attentive service and a well-curated menu.
The only downside was the acoustics—it's a bit noisy inside, which makes conversation slightly challenging at times. But if you’re going for the food (and you should), it’s well worth it.

This place is big, and basically gives off a fancy, classic steakhouse vibe. The service was overall pretty good, except I felt like the servers could be trained to be more friendly and professional. One server came by to give what turned out to be an incomplete list of the special menu items. Another server overall seemed like he didn't want to be there.
The food was good, but the temperature was medium on the ribeye when we asked for medium rare. Not a huge deal; I actually think ribeye should be at medium, given its high fat content, but still a technical error from the kitchen staff. The sides we got, fries and broccolini, were excellent.
Overall, we enjoyed the meal. Would come back!

The happy hour is good! Relatively cheap food and drinks. The service can be a bit slow and uncoordinated, especially given the number of individuals flooding the place after work; it's a hot bed for finance. It tends to be on the loud side, so it can be a little hard to hear even those across the table.

an awesome place to eat with a large or small group of people. there are ample amounts of seating and a variety of different foods to choose from. great location near the world trade center to grab a quick bite to eat that has good quality. would highly recommend!

We stumbled across this little foodcourt while walking back to our hotel room near the world trade center, and got soft korean tofu stew + brown rice for takeaway dinner. The meal was delicious, and the portion was huge and hearty, especially since it was raining outside the whole day. Not too spicy, well seasoned, and pretty balanced with tofu, beef, egg and veggies! The price was also quite reasonable, so nothing to complain there. Highly recommended!
The location also has other food variaties available — japanese, poke bowls, mexican etc, and can cater to most dietary restrictions and budget. There’s also plenty of seating areas! Good for groups to hang and have a quick meal.

☕️💬 Bean & Bean – Had potential, but didn’t quite warm our hearts
Today my husband and I were walking through the Financial District 🏙️, enjoying the day, and looking for a quiet place to take a break and have a coffee. We found Bean & Bean, and while it looked promising from the outside — simple, a bit nostalgic — the experience inside left us feeling a bit disappointed.
When we walked in, the first thing we noticed was how old and untouched everything felt — from the front doors to the furniture. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, and I understand some might call it “vintage charm,” but to us, it felt more like the café hadn’t evolved in years. Even the cups were the most basic takeout kind — no brand, no detail, no personal touch 🥤
We ordered our drinks and took a seat. But then… nothing.
❌ No one asked for a name.
❌ No one explained the pickup process.
❌ No one let us know our coffee was ready.
We just sat there, unsure of what to expect. I eventually went up to ask, and our drinks were already sitting there — cold. No one called us, no one brought them over, and no one checked in. Even though it was clear we were waiting.
It may sound small, but these moments matter. When you go for coffee, especially in a city like New York, you’re often craving not just caffeine — but a little kindness, a bit of energy, some warmth.
The coffee itself? Honestly, forgettable. Just… okay. And that would’ve been fine, if the experience felt more connected. But it didn’t.
💡 So if you’re just grabbing a quick caffeine fix and don’t mind an impersonal vibe, this might do the job. But if you’re looking for atmosphere, care, and attention — you may want to look elsewhere.
⭐️ Rating: 2/5 — we wanted more than just coffee

Bean & Bean on Wall Street is a rare quiet pocket in the middle of the Financial District rush. The coffee is overall fine although the temperature of the cappuccino was not optimal. Staff are friendly without overdoing it, and service moves alright. Seating is limited, so it’s not ideal for lingering, but for a thoughtful cup of coffee and a short pause, it really delivers.

Great location whether you’re a coffee nerd or just looking for something yummy to sip on. The baristas are knowledgeable and friendly. The gesha espresso was actually reasonable priced. (I paid $10 for something similar in another shop in the city and wasn’t nearly as good.) Definitely check these guys out!

A coffee temple in the heart of Wall Street
Amid the financial rush, tailored suits, and hurried footsteps, there’s a sensory sanctuary that redefines what it means to drink coffee. This Wall Street café doesn’t just serve coffee — it serves history, terroir, and excellence in every cup.
There’s no improvisation here: the menu is carefully curated with beans from Cup of Excellence winners — the most prestigious competition in the world of specialty coffee. Each origin is a distinct jewel, with flavor profiles ranging from floral Ethiopian lots with jasmine and bergamot, to washed Central Americans offering bright acidity and a crystal-clear finish.
The extraction is flawless. Baristas here don’t just prepare coffee — they interpret it. Service is refined yet warm. The space is elegant and minimalist, like an urban temple for true lovers of the bean.
If you’re in Wall Street and looking for more than caffeine, this place is a must. Here, coffee isn’t a beverage. It’s art, science, and liquid culture.
Serious advice: Ask the barista for the Geishas available, mind blowing 🤯
