I was surprised in such a touristic place to have such a good restaurant and good service. The food was very tasty and big portion and not just looking fancy. The indoor area is very cozy and plenty of space. The reason why I put 4 star was because the bathroom was not very clean. Otherwise everything else was perfect.

Tasty food, portion size is good too, a little towards pricier side. Has indoor and outdoor seating available. The servers speak English

We went by a group by 10 poeple. The staff are nice and the service is good. But, the food was not great and the cheesecake was just bad.

Beautiful cafe and delicious breakfast options. The presentation is top notch so it the taste, it’s so difficult for dishes to taste good when they are so pleasing to the eye. But nothing disappoints!!!
Loved the flavour, portion size. But items are not cheap by any means, sure you can get the lunch menu but who wants to have chicken curry at a non Indian restaurant.
We got waffles, blueberry pancakes, paleo salad everything tasted great.
Highly Recommended!!!!

Their salad is fresh and tasty. French fries is well seasoned and very crispy. Beefsteak dishes are quality. You can either sit inside or outside with great view.

I love Germany very much, und Berlin in particular this city is incredibly dear and precious to me.
This time, I invited my friends to visit me in Berlin, and honestly, I was a bit nervous because I really wanted everything to go perfectly for them
But my worries were completely unnecessary.
We had an amazing experience at Block House! The service was truly exceptional. We were served by a German lady with glasses, so unfortunately, I forgot her name, but she was incredibly polite, genuinely cultured, and full of energy 🥰
Ja, she welcomed us so warmly n made sure everything was perfect from start to finish
The food was absolutely delicious, the restaurant was spotless, and the atmosphere was cozy and family-friendly.
To top it all off, they even gave a small toy gift to our child 😍- such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture that made our visit feel even more special.
We were genuinely impressed and deeply touched by the entire experience.
We’ll definitely be coming back again.
Highly recommended!!!

First time ordering the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. The potato gratin was also a nice change from the usually amazing baked potato and sour cream. My friends loved their steaks as well. Our waiter was also a breath of fresh air. Always a good experience at block house
Tamara Saif - 2 months ago
This steakhouse offers excellent, tender, and high-quality meat with delicious side dishes. I highly recommend the filet paired with creamy potato—absolutely fantastic! They also have a great variety of vegan options, making it a perfect choice for everyone. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service attentive, creating a wonderful dining experience overall. Definitely worth a visit!

Taste is really good! Both the tacos and burritos have amazing flavours. I ate vegan and really liked it and my boyfriend ate meat and he did too. One of the best burrito’s in Berlin. We will for sure come back. Staff is very nice too.

Bowls are delicious, and the people are really nice. Sizes are good, but I would make the spicy options, more spicy because I ask for the salsa verde with jalapeños and couldn’t feel the jalapeños flavour. I absolutely will come back.

Careful: no cash accepted, ONLY cards. They have Californian burritos. Note that this is not real Mexican food but a fusion between American and Mexican style. Still good but missing the Mexican love 😆
There are seats inside and outside. All orders are to pick up (no waiters). They have nice and refreshing home made lemonades. The staff is friendly and they speak English and German.

The best burritos I’ve had in Berlin! 🌯 The food is always fresh and delicious, and the service makes it even better. At this point, they already know my order before I even say it. The female cashier in particular is always so kind and accommodating. It’s one of the reasons I keep coming back. Prices are a little on the higher side, but totally worth it for the quality and experience. Highly recommend!

Portions are joke never seen a this stingy restaurant before, there were literally 2 tablespoon of rice and meat. Even the salad is too little. Rice and eisberg is cheap you know?
How a grown person supposed to fill with this portion?

Overall, it is a good experience as a visitor from the other side of the Atlantic.
Cool bouncers, cool customers who offered me free drinks and cigarettes.
Only negative is one waitress who tried to give me an attitude as they had thrown my drinks away while at restrooms; but they replaced the drinks. To me, fair enough despite the incident.
Yves Benimana - 2 months ago
When visiting Berlin, this club is centrally located. Their mixed drinks are good and strong. Everyone there was having fun. Lot’s of English songs in the mix, was a nice plus. Songs that bring you way back.
Nathalie Gil de Rubio - a year ago
I don't know about people complaining about bouncers being rude and not being friendly guys I feel the problem was with the attitude you had when you were entering. I am from India and I went all by myself and the bouncer was so polite and he asked if I'm here for the first time
- He told me they accepted only cash and he guided me to get to ATM and I came after an hour when the place was full but he did not deny my entry and he was so helpful. I don't remember the name but he a (Bald guy who stands at the entrance) sorry about my language but "owner" you really have to know that he is fantastic
I am coming to your place again today
My previous experience with you guys was fantastic

A great wee bar in Berlin. Had a really great time here back in October and will certainly be back next time I am in the city. Got really drunk but not super drunk and didn’t spend a lot of money because the other patrons were really cool and took pity on me as a foreigner. The staff were unbelievably helpful and courteous and were one the highlights of my time in Berlin. When I got up on one of the tables and started belting out Eternal Flame I only got one complaint and only had to be asked once to get out - that’s what I call friendly. The banger I brought in with me was very great too and I regret leaving it in the middle cubicle, will definitely be looking for this on my next visit. All in all, 5 stars ⭐️

I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant, everything I had was delicious, and overall the service was okay.
However, I was quite concerned about a hygiene issue. One of the staff wiped a nearby table and, instead of properly cleaning and disposing of the cloth, wiped it directly on the floor right on my belongings. This made me uncomfortable, as it didn’t feel hygienic. I didn’t address it at the time because other staff were present and didn’t seem concerned, but I hope the restaurant can improve on this.

Really enjoyed their Piña Colada ~ perfectly balanced and refreshing! Loved having a drink outdoors with the group, soaking in the lively city vibes. Great spot to unwind and catch up!

Good food, good value for money. We went twice in a day. Once because we'd just arrived in the city and had been travelling over lunch, so we had the Currywurst nachos as a snack to put us on and then we returned after checking out the area for a cheeseburger each. The food was fantastic on both occasions. The only negative on the atmosphere was that it was a bit too smokey (too many smokers), but this seems to be common everywhere where there is outside seating in Berlin. The service might have scored higher if the waiter on the service visit hadn't decided that he would add a 10% tip before handing me the card machine. I took the tip off, and he asked if he had done something to upset me. He had. Any tip is at my discretion. He might have had a tip if he hadn't tried to add it himself.

Great Food and great ambience. Dropped by and ordered a take away as the restaurant was full. Recommend reserving in advance as it is a Berliner favourite.

An Italian restaurant with very good atmosphere. There are many tables at the restaurant kindly order with Italian vibes.
We ordered the gnocchi and pasta with mushrooms. Both were delicious and big size. The service was good and the price was fair. Recommended.

We went for the pizza but were most impressed by the Bruschetta. It was flavourful and delicious.
The pizza on the other hand was pretty plain. Granted, we did have a salami pizza, but still we were unimpressed with it. It tasted bland and quite simple put… average.
On the other hand, the size was quite large so it could be shared by two and the crust was nicely crunchy and thin.
So I guess if you want a normal salami pizza, it’s the place to go. However, if you appreciate flavours (even in classic pizzas) then maybe try a different pizza or different place altogether.

We ordered a pizza and a calzone. The calzone was meant to have no mushrooms and onions instead. It didn't. It was as on the menu. I don't have any allergies, and I can eat mushrooms it's purely a preference, so when it arrived and looked and smelled amazing and I cut in to it and it had mushrooms, I ate it. It looked enormous, but thankfully, it had just swollen with the hot air within. Amazing food. Highly recommended!

We found ourselves near the TV tower on our first night in Berlin with no plans of where to eat. Piazza Rossa popped up with good reviews so we went here. We went on a Wednesday evening in October around 8pm. We were greeted promptly and seated indoors straight away.
We had a couple of pizzas which were huge and tasty. Staff were very friendly and service was efficient. Overall very good value for pizza and a couple of drinks.

A great Italian restaurant at Alexanderplatz. Very fast service, friendly people, and portions with very good size. Issue tô pay attention is the price for the desserts that is quite high.

One of the best Thai Restaurants I‘ve EVER been to. The Green Curry is hands down the absolutely the best I’ve had so far.
They also have extremely fresh seafood.
I really don’t understand why the rating is only 4.3..

Very good sushi bowl( fresh).
Good price. and good location.
But this is in a busy area and tourist.
I really like this place, you can order Thai food and Sushi in the same place with Thai chef.

The food was delicious. The prices are quiet high for the amount of food you get. The portions are quiet small. The food arrived quiet quickly. We didn’t have to wait 10 minutes for the food to arrive. They have some typical thai dishes on their menu. Staff is friendly and you can pay with card.
Jacqueline Kraft - 6 months ago
I'll start by saying that I'm not a fan of Thai food but I had a lovely dinner with my friends, the staff is very kind and speaks English well, they offer Thai cuisine and sushi except for the Sunday. The food was good, the waiting time was right but the prices were a bit high. The atmosphere is quiet and the place is close to the center.

Great Thai food and a cute little restaurant inside. We got pad see ew (called something else here), pad thai and mango sticky rice. Resturant was clean, small, and the staff were nice. Had decent bathroom too. Nice outdoor seating but it was drizzling so we sat inside.

Great experience visiting the Berlin TV Tower — the view from the top is spectacular, and the whole visit is smooth and well organized. The elevator ride is surprisingly fast, and the observation deck gives a beautiful 360° view of the city.
However, compared with similar landmarks in other countries, the ticket price is a bit on the high side. Still, it’s worth visiting at least once when in Berlin.
Alfred Ng - 2 weeks ago
You can see the 368m high television tower from almost everywhere in the city.
It’s definitely a major tourist attraction and costs a whopping €32,50 to the 203m observation deck. Be prepared to queue for tickets, security and then the lift.
There is a small bar area, two uninterested staff and an expensive drinks menu. €24,40 for a beer and a glass of wine were probably the most expensive drinks we had during our entire holiday.
However the views are fabulous so it’s worth a visit.
linda - a week ago
Wow it’s a breathtaking view. You can get a tremendous view of the city and beautiful buildings and colourful streets from the top. If you take a view after sunset it’s added beauty with lights . The restaurants is closed in the evening
Bus tram is nearby and well connected routes making it easy to reach others parts of the city
It’s advisable to booking your tickets early that helps you avoid long queues and crowd.
Enjoy your trip

Great location to view the whole of Berlin. You can see all Berlin's iconic buildings. This tower reaches 368 meters high (tip of digital TV antennas), 207 meter high for the restaurant, and 203 meter high above sea level the panoramic viewing area. The lift/elevator speed going up is 6 m/sec, and going down is 4 m/sec. Therefore, you will be on top in less than a minute. Great view from the top. You can buy drinks from the viewing deck.

So the beer is very good, but that doesn’t make up for the fact they are very understaffed. We wanted to order the tasting flight but apparently you can’t choose your own beer, it’s a fixed mix of beer of their choice. Disappointing because why have so many beers that would be enjoyable to try but they are not part of their flight. Food was mediocre for the price, definitely room for improvement.

a lovely restaurant I’m Berlin for some delicious and authentic food!
We were brought here at the end of our food tour by our guide and it did not disappoint.
The ambience is lovely, and the is both indoor and shaded outdoor seating available. Great place for beer too! Many many varieties.
We ordered a beer flight and cherry spritz, as well as Cherry juicy for non -alcoholic preferences. Lovely drinks!
We ordered a popular dish called tarte flambe , would definitely recommend, it’s think and topped with cheese and meat.
The swarian cheese spatzle was amazing, so cheesy and indulgent.
To top it off, we got the “pork knuckle ”, I haven’t had this delicious meat in a while. The quantity is really large so perfect to share.
Overall a wonderful experience , would come again .

A friend of us, recommend this place as a local attraction. The place it is not really appealing but it is a good place to have a rest after a day of tourism. Roasted pork with souercrout is a hit. Beer is good. Go for it but do not expect gourmet food

We signed up for a brewery tour as one of the excursions which Viking cruise took us here!
When we arrived at 7:00 PM, it’s almost full house already. So do make reservations if you like to come!
The pork knuckles they served was one of the most tender one we had for my wife and I been in the Germany for over 10 days now!
We drink Pilsner beer and bocks beer, both are pretty good!
Then we have a brewery tour and beer testing which I am not too fond of their dark beer!
I it was a very interesting evening. If I come back to Berlin again I will definitely come here to have a few beer and a meal.
