I was surprised in such a touristic place to have such a good restaurant and good service. The food was very tasty and big portion and not just looking fancy. The indoor area is very cozy and plenty of space. The reason why I put 4 star was because the bathroom was not very clean. Otherwise everything else was perfect.

Absolutely amazing food, super hosts and extremely accomodating. We were walking past and asked if they were open. An hour before their normal opening time they welcomed us and made one of the best brekkies i have had.

Wanted to come to this place for breakfast before we left Berlin. Glad we did. Wide range of breakfast choices and I had a decent cuppa latte.
Would recommend this place to anyone looking to have more than a croissant for breakfast.

Tasty food, portion size is good too, a little towards pricier side. Has indoor and outdoor seating available. The servers speak English

I called in her while in Berlin, was greeted by a lovely smile and shown to my table, I ordered the ribeye mastercut which came with a jacket potato and garlic bread and a side salad. I then had the lovely soufflé for dessert. Reasonably priced, great flavour and service.

First time ordering the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. The potato gratin was also a nice change from the usually amazing baked potato and sour cream. My friends loved their steaks as well. Our waiter was also a breath of fresh air. Always a good experience at block house

Their salad is fresh and tasty. French fries is well seasoned and very crispy. Beefsteak dishes are quality. You can either sit inside or outside with great view.

I love Germany very much, und Berlin in particular this city is incredibly dear and precious to me.
This time, I invited my friends to visit me in Berlin, and honestly, I was a bit nervous because I really wanted everything to go perfectly for them
But my worries were completely unnecessary.
We had an amazing experience at Block House! The service was truly exceptional. We were served by a German lady with glasses, so unfortunately, I forgot her name, but she was incredibly polite, genuinely cultured, and full of energy 🥰
Ja, she welcomed us so warmly n made sure everything was perfect from start to finish
The food was absolutely delicious, the restaurant was spotless, and the atmosphere was cozy and family-friendly.
To top it all off, they even gave a small toy gift to our child 😍- such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture that made our visit feel even more special.
We were genuinely impressed and deeply touched by the entire experience.
We’ll definitely be coming back again.
Highly recommended!!!

This steakhouse offers excellent, tender, and high-quality meat with delicious side dishes. I highly recommend the filet paired with creamy potato—absolutely fantastic! They also have a great variety of vegan options, making it a perfect choice for everyone. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service attentive, creating a wonderful dining experience overall. Definitely worth a visit!

Taste is really good! Both the tacos and burritos have amazing flavours. I ate vegan and really liked it and my boyfriend ate meat and he did too. One of the best burrito’s in Berlin. We will for sure come back. Staff is very nice too.

Bowls are delicious, and the people are really nice. Sizes are good, but I would make the spicy options, more spicy because I ask for the salsa verde with jalapeños and couldn’t feel the jalapeños flavour. I absolutely will come back.

Careful: no cash accepted, ONLY cards. They have Californian burritos. Note that this is not real Mexican food but a fusion between American and Mexican style. Still good but missing the Mexican love 😆
There are seats inside and outside. All orders are to pick up (no waiters). They have nice and refreshing home made lemonades. The staff is friendly and they speak English and German.

The burrito is really tasy, and filling considering the price.
Ate here twice, the easybchicken and the pork one (vut substututed the spicy sauce to a lighter one)
Would come again

Overall, it is a good experience as a visitor from the other side of the Atlantic.
Cool bouncers, cool customers who offered me free drinks and cigarettes.
Only negative is one waitress who tried to give me an attitude as they had thrown my drinks away while at restrooms; but they replaced the drinks. To me, fair enough despite the incident.

When visiting Berlin, this club is centrally located. Their mixed drinks are good and strong. Everyone there was having fun. Lot’s of English songs in the mix, was a nice plus. Songs that bring you way back.

A great wee bar in Berlin. Had a really great time here back in October and will certainly be back next time I am in the city. Got really drunk but not super drunk and didn’t spend a lot of money because the other patrons were really cool and took pity on me as a foreigner. The staff were unbelievably helpful and courteous and were one the highlights of my time in Berlin. When I got up on one of the tables and started belting out Eternal Flame I only got one complaint and only had to be asked once to get out - that’s what I call friendly. The banger I brought in with me was very great too and I regret leaving it in the middle cubicle, will definitely be looking for this on my next visit. All in all, 5 stars ⭐️

I don't know about people complaining about bouncers being rude and not being friendly guys I feel the problem was with the attitude you had when you were entering. I am from India and I went all by myself and the bouncer was so polite and he asked if I'm here for the first time
- He told me they accepted only cash and he guided me to get to ATM and I came after an hour when the place was full but he did not deny my entry and he was so helpful. I don't remember the name but he a (Bald guy who stands at the entrance) sorry about my language but "owner" you really have to know that he is fantastic
I am coming to your place again today
My previous experience with you guys was fantastic

Great Food and great ambience. Dropped by and ordered a take away as the restaurant was full. Recommend reserving in advance as it is a Berliner favourite.

Good food, good value for money. We went twice in a day. Once because we'd just arrived in the city and had been travelling over lunch, so we had the Currywurst nachos as a snack to put us on and then we returned after checking out the area for a cheeseburger each. The food was fantastic on both occasions. The only negative on the atmosphere was that it was a bit too smokey (too many smokers), but this seems to be common everywhere where there is outside seating in Berlin. The service might have scored higher if the waiter on the service visit hadn't decided that he would add a 10% tip before handing me the card machine. I took the tip off, and he asked if he had done something to upset me. He had. Any tip is at my discretion. He might have had a tip if he hadn't tried to add it himself.

An Italian restaurant with very good atmosphere. There are many tables at the restaurant kindly order with Italian vibes.
We ordered the gnocchi and pasta with mushrooms. Both were delicious and big size. The service was good and the price was fair. Recommended.

We arrived about mid afternoon it was really quiet in this restaurant. We had done a fair bit of walking and we were hungry and needing a rest. We had a window seat and we could watch the world go by. I had Ricolo Pizza and it was lovely, I really enjoyed it. The place did fill up while we were in and soon there was a good buzz. We were now ready for some more walking and sightseeing. This was a great choice for us.

We ordered a mixture of Thai and Sushi. California wrap was excellent. The Papya salad had hardly any Papaya but overall we had a great time. Our waiter who is a university student was polite and helpful. They do serve set menus before 4 pm but they didn’t accept to do it for us though the time was well before 4. Make sure you ask them before seating that you can have the set menu option

One of the best Thai Restaurants I‘ve EVER been to. The Green Curry is hands down the absolutely the best I’ve had so far.
They also have extremely fresh seafood.
I really don’t understand why the rating is only 4.3..

Very good sushi bowl( fresh).
Good price. and good location.
But this is in a busy area and tourist.
I really like this place, you can order Thai food and Sushi in the same place with Thai chef.

I'll start by saying that I'm not a fan of Thai food but I had a lovely dinner with my friends, the staff is very kind and speaks English well, they offer Thai cuisine and sushi except for the Sunday. The food was good, the waiting time was right but the prices were a bit high. The atmosphere is quiet and the place is close to the center.

Nice little place. Anytime I travel to a big european city, I seek out Pad Thai since the options in Prague leave a lot to be desired.
This one was pretty dang good. LOVE the chilis on the side. The Pad Thai was good, only gripe was the portion size. Would have liked 30% more 😅

The Berlin TV Tower (Fernsehturm) is an absolute must-see attraction for anyone visiting the city. Its impressive height and modern design immediately catch the eye, and seeing it in person is even more spectacular. It is one of the most iconic landmarks in Berlin and truly worth the visit.
The view from the top is breathtaking. On a clear day, you can see the entire city and even far beyond, which really helps you understand the scale and layout of Berlin. The observation deck is well organized, and the informational panels make it easy to recognize the most important landmarks.
One of the biggest highlights is the restaurant located at the top of the tower. Dining there is a unique and unforgettable experience. The restaurant slowly rotates, allowing you to enjoy a 360-degree view of the city without leaving your seat. The food is very good, the service is professional, and the atmosphere is elegant, making it perfect for a romantic dinner or a special occasion.
I highly recommend buying tickets in advance. The queues can be very long, especially during peak tourist seasons, and purchasing tickets beforehand saves a lot of time and makes the visit much more enjoyable.

I booked the breakfast experience for my partner and I. It wasn’t as full as we were expecting and we were totally blown away with our window seat. It was a clear sunny morning and the changing view over the 1 hour 40 mins. The breakfast was well presented and service was excellent. It’s a unique experience. For the extra cost over just going to the viewing platform it’s worth every extra pound/euro! You get a clearer extremely relaxing view and no crowds. We were lucky with the weather on a November day and noticed that it got more hazy later in the morning. There is a system for letting people in to the building which mixes those going to viewing deck and those got the restaurant. It might be better to give priority to eaters as they have specific time slots. I wish I’d taken my binoculars. All in all I’d highly recommend the restaurant experience for breakfast time views. Even though it was ‘just’ breakfast it seemed nevertheless quite romantic for our little celebration.

A great visit as part of a stay in Berlin.
Be mindful when planning your visit as you'll have to book in advance and select a time slot to get in.
There are stairs and no lifts to get to the elevator that gets you up to the tower. You'll have to leave any prams in the coats room.
Lightning will have a great impact in how you see Berlin from above, dawn and sunset are special times. Plan ahead if you want to visit during those slots.
And don't miss the view of the inside of the tower from the elevator.
Javier Cano - a month ago
A little pricy however you will get the best views across the city, you can see for miles. You go quickly up the elevator to the point where your ears pop on the way up. If you take photos of the views be prepared to alter the white balance as the viewing windows tend to have a green tint. Would be nice to see the views at night.

Iconic View, But Manage Your Expectations
As a Berlin resident, I finally took the plunge to visit the TV Tower with my guests from abroad. I booked the Standard Ticket with the bar reservation included, and I have to praise the overall organization: getting in was incredibly efficient, and the elevator ride was impressively fast.
The 360-degree view on a clear day is, of course, absolutely phenomenal and gives you a panoramic understanding of the entire city.
The Major Downside: Overcrowding
Unfortunately, the experience at the top was quite disappointing due to the severe overcrowding. It was so crowded that it was difficult to move, and we could barely get close to the windows to view the city in a relaxed way. It felt hectic and rushed, which really diminished the beauty of the experience.
Bar Service Saves the Day
A huge positive was the bar. They have great drink options, and the barman was very generous with the portions of wine, which certainly helped make the visit more enjoyable despite the crowds!
Verdict: While the organization and bar service were excellent, the sheer number of people allowed up at once is poorly managed. If the tower better controlled the number of visitors allowed per time slot, this experience would be world-class. It’s worth doing once for the view, but be prepared for a very crowded and potentially frustrating experience if you visit during a busy time.

Cash only pub that brews there own beer. Food and beer was amazing. Staff are so welcoming and accommodating. Menu has English description under eat choice. Really good place to visit for authentic German food and beer.

We truly enjoyed the homemade red beer—it was delightful! The pork knuckle was quite good, and the sausage was satisfying as well. However, I found the goulash a bit too chewy and lacking the rich, savory flavor that goulash should have.

Food was good and hearty, beer was basic. I’d give them 4 1/2 if was a thing in google reviews.

We had a slight heads up with Marcus's Brewery, my brother who lived in Berlin for a few years said if you want well priced traditional German food (and beer) then Marcus's is a must! It didn't disappoint. Food was great, Pils was also great, service was prompt and friendly (to two non German speakers). When in Berlin make a point of going to Marcus's, one of our many great experiences! May thanks
