4 Star Rating I was surprised in such a touristic place to have such a good restaurant and good service. The food was very tasty and big portion and not just looking fancy. The indoor area is very cozy and plenty of space. The reason why I put 4 star was because the bathroom was not very clean. Otherwise everything else was perfect.

5 Star Rating Wanted to come to this place for breakfast before we left Berlin. Glad we did. Wide range of breakfast choices and I had a decent cuppa latte. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to have more than a croissant for breakfast.

5 Star Rating We found this place randomly on our walk through the city. The place is modern, with a very nice quiet yet lively vibe. The staff is super nice and welcoming. The food is tasty and very reasonably priced given the location. We had pasta for the main course and hot chocolate afterwards which was a lifesaver in this weather. Definitely recommended!

4 Star Rating A really impressive place, good atmosphere and good food. Not fully familiar with the preparation and cutting of meats, we tried to explain to the waiter, he argued with us and in the end we paid for a piece of meat that was cut incorrectly by the chef. You can still say that the food is delicious

5 Star Rating Absolutely delicious food from start to finish! The steaks were amazing and cooked perfectly, and the chips, focaccia, salads and desserts were all equally fantastic. Everything tasted fresh, high quality and full of flavour. The service from our waiter Max was honestly the best we experienced whilst in Berlin, so friendly, attentive and welcoming, which really made the evening special. The restaurant also had such a lovely vibe and atmosphere throughout. We would definitely recommend Block House and would happily return if we ever come back to Berlin.

5 Star Rating A truly amazing experience, from the friendly, warm welcome to being looked after by the amazing wait team. I had the beef carpaccio to start, followed by the well prepared rib-eye mastercut, all paired with a glass of red recommended by the waitress. The salad, garlic bread and french fries on the side were also a delight. Great food, great chef, great service, a big thanks to the lady wearing glasses who looked after me along with the red wine recommendation!

3 Star Rating Took Spicy chicken bowl and Corn chips with dips. Portions are big, wait time is small, but the food itself is not tasty, unfortunately. Dip cups are made of paper, so they become wet quite fast and it became very hard to dip the chips inside. Bowl was just not tasteful, don't know how to comment on that further. Overall: I wouldn't recommend to visit that place and go somewhere else instead.

4 Star Rating Careful: no cash accepted, ONLY cards. They have Californian burritos. Note that this is not real Mexican food but a fusion between American and Mexican style. Still good but missing the Mexican love 😆 There are seats inside and outside. All orders are to pick up (no waiters). They have nice and refreshing home made lemonades. The staff is friendly and they speak English and German.

5 Star Rating Overall, it is a good experience as a visitor from the other side of the Atlantic. Cool bouncers, cool customers who offered me free drinks and cigarettes. Only negative is one waitress who tried to give me an attitude as they had thrown my drinks away while at restrooms; but they replaced the drinks. To me, fair enough despite the incident.

5 Star Rating A great wee bar in Berlin. Had a really great time here back in October and will certainly be back next time I am in the city. Got really drunk but not super drunk and didn’t spend a lot of money because the other patrons were really cool and took pity on me as a foreigner. The staff were unbelievably helpful and courteous and were one the highlights of my time in Berlin. When I got up on one of the tables and started belting out Eternal Flame I only got one complaint and only had to be asked once to get out - that’s what I call friendly. The banger I brought in with me was very great too and I regret leaving it in the middle cubicle, will definitely be looking for this on my next visit. All in all, 5 stars ⭐️

4 Star Rating I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant, everything I had was delicious, and overall the service was okay. However, I was quite concerned about a hygiene issue. One of the staff wiped a nearby table and, instead of properly cleaning and disposing of the cloth, wiped it directly on the floor right on my belongings. This made me uncomfortable, as it didn’t feel hygienic. I didn’t address it at the time because other staff were present and didn’t seem concerned, but I hope the restaurant can improve on this.

2 Star Rating We visited this restaurant with my family on a very cold day after walking around the Christmas market. We did not have a reservation, but we were shown a table, which initially felt welcoming. We placed our order in English and chose four different pizzas. After the food arrived, we noticed that every table seated after us was served complimentary bread and olive oil before their meals. This was done by the same waiter, yet we were deliberately skipped. It was quite obvious that this was noticed by the staff as well, which made the situation uncomfortable. As for the food, the pizzas were very average and lacked any distinctive flavor. There was nothing memorable or special about them. Overall, the prices seem to be driven purely by the location rather than the quality. If you are only looking for a mediocre pizza in a touristy area, this place might be acceptable, but nothing more. The most unpleasant part was at payment. When paying the bill, the waiter selected the tip option himself instead of letting us choose, and processed the payment that way. This was inappropriate and unprofessional. I will not be returning. Unfortunately, this restaurant goes on my list as a place that left a bad and uncomfortable impression.

5 Star Rating We arrived about mid afternoon it was really quiet in this restaurant. We had done a fair bit of walking and we were hungry and needing a rest. We had a window seat and we could watch the world go by. I had Ricolo Pizza and it was lovely, I really enjoyed it. The place did fill up while we were in and soon there was a good buzz. We were now ready for some more walking and sightseeing. This was a great choice for us.

Our waiter who is a university student was polite and helpful. They do serve set menus before 4 pm but they didn’t accept to do it for us though the time was well before 4. 5 Star Rating The Berlin TV Tower (Fernsehturm) is an absolute must-see attraction for anyone visiting the city. Its impressive height and modern design immediately catch the eye, and seeing it in person is even more spectacular. It is one of the most iconic landmarks in Berlin and truly worth the visit. The view from the top is breathtaking. On a clear day, you can see the entire city and even far beyond, which really helps you understand the scale and layout of Berlin. The observation deck is well organized, and the informational panels make it easy to recognize the most important landmarks. One of the biggest highlights is the restaurant located at the top of the tower. Dining there is a unique and unforgettable experience. The restaurant slowly rotates, allowing you to enjoy a 360-degree view of the city without leaving your seat. The food is very good, the service is professional, and the atmosphere is elegant, making it perfect for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. I highly recommend buying tickets in advance. The queues can be very long, especially during peak tourist seasons, and purchasing tickets beforehand saves a lot of time and makes the visit much more enjoyable.

2 Star Rating While the Berliner Fernsehturm is an iconic part of the skyline, the actual visitor experience leaves much to be desired. For a ticket price of 28€, the lack of basic amenities is frankly unacceptable. The Main Issues: • Zero Storage: There is no cloakroom (Garderobe). Even after paying a premium price, you are forced to carry your heavy winter jackets with you throughout the entire visit. • Not Family-Friendly: There is nowhere to sit and absolutely no designated area for breastfeeding mothers or those traveling with small infants. • The Wait: The "experience" involves a lot of standing. There is no seating at the security check, and you should expect significant wait times at the elevators. • Poor Climate Control: Despite it being winter, the interior was uncomfortably hot due to excessive heating. Combined with carrying heavy coats, it becomes physically draining. • Dirty Windows: The most disappointing part? The view. The windows were quite dirty, which significantly blurred the panoramic city views you’re paying to see. Final Verdict: Save your money. There are plenty of other spots in Berlin (like the Reichstag or Victory Column) that offer better views and more respect for the visitor's comfort. A quick tip for your next view: If you're still in Berlin and want a better experience, the Panoramapunkt at Potsdamer Platz is usually cheaper, has an open-air terrace (no dirty glass!), and the elevator is one of the fastest in Europe.

5 Star Rating The Berlin TV Tower is such a cool landmark and honestly unmissable when you’re walking around Berlin. It towers over Alexanderplatz and you can spot it from loads of places across the city. We didn’t actually go up to the top, but we still spent ages just standing there looking up at it — it’s seriously impressive in person. If you want the best view, head to the hotel opposite and try the highest swing in Europe… the view of the tower from there is unreal. There’s also loads to do around the area, with plenty of places to eat, shops, and things going on nearby, so you definitely won’t be bored around Alexanderplatz.

5 Star Rating A Spectacular 60th Birthday Morning. We visited the Berlin TV Tower to kick off my 60th birthday celebrations with my family, and it was the perfect choice. From the ground, you can't quite grasp how spacious it is inside the sphere, it’s deceptively large!. The 360° panorama is absolutely fascinating. We were surprised by how quickly time slipped by as we walked around; there is so much to see. It was especially fun to point out the parts of Berlin we had already visited during our trip. We used the Magnicity app while at the top, which was incredibly helpful for identifying landmarks and learning more about the skyline. We finished our visit with a lovely glass of Champagne, a great way to toast to the day. Well worth a visit for anyone in Berlin.

5 Star Rating Gatekeeping this place should be a crime. This is an absolute gem of a place. Been coming to Berlin for a few years and never even knew it existed, but now we know it's here we will be back. Berlin has a distinct lack of places like this and when you find one you treasure it. And we do. Food, drink, service, alles gut! Plan to come here for a drink or two and you will leave with a belly full of ridiculously tasty food and a few glasses of their own beer, check out the 'tower' or the 'metre' of beer for a bit of fun. 10 out of 10.
