Fresh ingredients, nicely presented, and lots of choices to satisfy almost anyone. The smoothies are organic. Both the Blue Moon, and Chocolate Beast were excellent. The Avocado Egg Drop is fresh, perfectly cooked, and enough for 2. My son had Crispy Eggs Benedict, and really liked it. He added avocado, which was served warm. The Caesar salad was described as a classic, with the addition of tomatoes, but it also had green olives and lime. I thought it had too much dressing, but it was my bad - i should have ordered dressing on the side, since I almost always want less. We asked for water, and it came in a carafe with 2 glasses, so there was plenty. Our server, Mohi, was attentive, but not intrusive. And was very agreeable. The food arrived promptly. As usual in Germany, there was no pressure to leave, a leisurely meal is I didn't expect such a pleasant experience as Alexanderplatz is a really busy and touristy area.

Very nice and cozy restaurant with plenty of space and life. The restaurant has a nice interior and really great food. We had breakfast there which was very delicious and decent portions and all the food was beautifully prepared.

They have a big, open space for dine in. I went there for my brunch at 11AM; a bit hot because of the heat wave but they had some fans in the restaurant. I ordered a canadian buttermilk pancake and a strawberry iced matcha latte. The portion was so big that I couldnt eat anything else after finishing the meal

The other day I had the best coffee on the go, so today I thought I should pay another visit. I ate a deliciouse aspargus soup with a boiled egg, and drank a ginger tea. Both are generouse servings. Enjoyed a lot from the cozy atmosphere and the attentive care of the servers

A really impressive place, good atmosphere and good food. Not fully familiar with the preparation and cutting of meats, we tried to explain to the waiter, he argued with us and in the end we paid for a piece of meat that was cut incorrectly by the chef. You can still say that the food is delicious

Absolutely delicious food from start to finish! The steaks were amazing and cooked perfectly, and the chips, focaccia, salads and desserts were all equally fantastic. Everything tasted fresh, high quality and full of flavour. The service from our waiter Max was honestly the best we experienced whilst in Berlin, so friendly, attentive and welcoming, which really made the evening special. The restaurant also had such a lovely vibe and atmosphere throughout. We would definitely recommend Block House and would happily return if we ever come back to Berlin.

A truly amazing experience, from the friendly, warm welcome to being looked after by the amazing wait team. I had the beef carpaccio to start, followed by the well prepared rib-eye mastercut, all paired with a glass of red recommended by the waitress. The salad, garlic bread and french fries on the side were also a delight. Great food, great chef, great service, a big thanks to the lady wearing glasses who looked after me along with the red wine recommendation!

Had such a nice meal at BLOCK HOUSE Am Alexanderplatz 🥩 The food was really good — the steak was cooked perfectly, super juicy and full of flavour. Everything came out fresh and well presented, and the portions were very satisfying. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and the service was great — friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a great spot if you’re in Berlin and craving a good steak. I’d happily come back! ✨

As someone who ate countless burritos for four years of undergrad in the U.S., this one is not good at all. I took one bite and wanted to put it down. The chips are greasy and the dip is not proper seasoned salsa. It might be safe to say that it was very much below every Mexican restaurants I’ve tried in the states. This review is about the food only and not about the staff. The staff was friendly.

A great option for a family looking for a fast casual Mexican option in Berlin. The rice was good and the chipotle chicken had nice flavor. They could learn from Illegal Pete's and mix the ingredients in the burrito to avoid the bite of all one type of food in the bite.

When visiting Berlin, this club is centrally located. Their mixed drinks are good and strong. Everyone there was having fun. Lot’s of English songs in the mix, was a nice plus. Songs that bring you way back.

A great wee bar in Berlin. Had a really great time here back in October and will certainly be back next time I am in the city. Got really drunk but not super drunk and didn’t spend a lot of money because the other patrons were really cool and took pity on me as a foreigner. The staff were unbelievably helpful and courteous and were one the highlights of my time in Berlin. When I got up on one of the tables and started belting out Eternal Flame I only got one complaint and only had to be asked once to get out - that’s what I call friendly. The banger I brought in with me was very great too and I regret leaving it in the middle cubicle, will definitely be looking for this on my next visit. All in all, 5 stars ⭐️

Overall, it is a good experience as a visitor from the other side of the Atlantic. Cool bouncers, cool customers who offered me free drinks and cigarettes. Only negative is one waitress who tried to give me an attitude as they had thrown my drinks away while at restrooms; but they replaced the drinks. To me, fair enough despite the incident.

Carambar is a decent spot if you’re looking for a casual atmosphere in Berlin. It’s a solid, average place with a good selection of cocktails and classic dishes like burgers and currywurst. The DJ music adds a nice vibe to the space. It’s a fair option for a relaxed evening, though nothing particularly stood out. A fine experience overall

We both had a eegular cheeseburger along with a large soft drink and paid 15,90€ each. The service was great and the food was good and came out really fast! The atmosphere itself is more on the casual side, but we enjoyed it. The prices were more expensive from what we found online beforehand, sadly. If you want a quick meal we'd definitely recommend it, there's a large variety of dishes available.

Was served by Nancy (sorry if i cannot remember the name correctly its been a while since I been there, lovely lady with black hair) and was she an absolute angel, me and my friend initially went in because we were getting harassed by a man but we asked to be seated while we waited for him to leave and had some food in the mean time, I genuinely look forward to coming back here on my next berlin trip, lovely environment, professional, kind service decpite the language barrier, and the food and drinks were top tier, cannot recommend this place enough, absolute gem we found by complete accident but I enjoyed having dinner here in the end ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🧡

I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant, everything I had was delicious, and overall the service was okay. However, I was quite concerned about a hygiene issue. One of the staff wiped a nearby table and, instead of properly cleaning and disposing of the cloth, wiped it directly on the floor right on my belongings. This made me uncomfortable, as it didn’t feel hygienic. I didn’t address it at the time because other staff were present and didn’t seem concerned, but I hope the restaurant can improve on this.

We had a wonderful experience at Piazza Rossa! We ordered pizza and gelato, and everything was excellent. The pizza was fresh, delicious, and perfectly cooked, and the gelato was creamy, rich, and full of flavor. An Italian restaurant with very good atmosphere. There are many tables at the restaurant kindly order with Italian vibes. We ordered the gnocchi and pasta with mushrooms. Both were delicious and big size. The service was good and the price was fair. Recommended.

We had a really good experience at this restaurant! We all ate pizza and it was very good, although some of us thought it needed a little more tomato sauce, but over all a super tasty pizza. The restaurant was very cute and cosy, not at all tacky or uncomfortable. We received good service, the waiters were friendly. The only downside was the unreasonably expensive still water. One of the best things about the whole experience was the bathrooms. Super fresh and clean!

We visited this restaurant with my family on a very cold day after walking around the Christmas market. We did not have a reservation, but we were shown a table, which initially felt welcoming. We placed our order in English and chose four different pizzas. After the food arrived, we noticed that every table seated after us was served complimentary bread and olive oil before their meals. This was done by the same waiter, yet we were deliberately skipped. It was quite obvious that this was noticed by the staff as well, which made the situation uncomfortable. As for the food, the pizzas were very average and lacked any distinctive flavor. There was nothing memorable or special about them. Overall, the prices seem to be driven purely by the location rather than the quality. If you are only looking for a mediocre pizza in a touristy area, this place might be acceptable, but nothing more. The most unpleasant part was at payment. When paying the bill, the waiter selected the tip option himself instead of letting us choose, and processed the payment that way. This was inappropriate and unprofessional. I will not be returning. Unfortunately, this restaurant goes on my list as a place that left a bad and uncomfortable impression.

I've been coming to Tuan's Hütte Tai & Sushi in Berlin Mitte for many years, and it has remained one of my absolute favorite restaurants in the city. Whether I order sushi, Thai curry, noodles, or one of their fresh stir-fried dishes, everything is always prepared with care and full of flavor. The sushi is fresh, beautifully presented, and tastes like it's made with high-quality ingredients. Their Thai dishes have the perfect balance of spices and freshness, making every meal satisfying and memorable. Over the years, this restaurant has become much more than just a place to eat. It's somewhere I enjoy returning to with friends, family, or even by myself after a long day. The staff are always friendly, attentive, and make you feel genuinely welcome. The service is fast without ever feeling rushed, and the atmosphere is cozy, relaxed, and inviting. One thing I really appreciate is the consistency. After visiting for such a long time, I've never been disappointed. It's comforting to know that every visit will be just as enjoyable as the last. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick and efficient. The menu is extensive, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. We ordered several items, including fish, salad, fried dishes, and Tom Yum soup, and everything was delicious and well-seasoned. The drinks were excellent as well. I had Thai tea with lemon, which was especially refreshing on a hot summer day. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I would definitely come back.

We ordered a mixture of Thai and Sushi. California wrap was excellent. The Papya salad had hardly any Papaya but overall we had a great time. Our waiter who is a university student was polite and helpful. They do serve set menus before 4 pm but they didn’t accept to do it for us though the time was well before 4. Make sure you ask them before seating that you can have the set menu option

The food was delicious. The prices are quiet high for the amount of food you get. The portions are quiet small. The food arrived quiet quickly. We didn’t have to wait 10 minutes for the food to arrive. They have some typical thai dishes on their menu. Staff is friendly and you can pay with card.

The Berlin TV Tower is such a cool landmark and honestly unmissable when you’re walking around Berlin. It towers over Alexanderplatz and you can spot it from loads of places across the city. We didn’t actually go up to the top, but we still spent ages just standing there looking up at it — it’s seriously impressive in person. If you want the best view, head to the hotel opposite and try the highest swing in Europe… the view of the tower from there is unreal. There’s also loads to do around the area, with plenty of places to eat, shops, and things going on nearby, so you definitely won’t be bored around Alexanderplatz.

I thought it was just okay. Having already been to the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, this experience didn't really feel that special to me. Considering the price, I found it quite overpriced. You simply go up, look around, take a few photos, and that's about it. The views are nice, but there wasn't much else to make the experience memorable. If you've never been to a tall observation deck before, you might enjoy it more, but for me it didn't quite live up to the cost.

Me & my son (British), came here in in the daytime for food and beers in the evening in June 2025. Everything about the visit was great - The service, the beer and the food. The lady (I didn't take her name) that served us made us feel welcome and spoke great English. It never took long to get her attention for more beer - of which we tried a few, which were all excellent. The food was excellent. I would recommend.

Gatekeeping this place should be a crime. This is an absolute gem of a place. Been coming to Berlin for a few years and never even knew it existed, but now we know it's here we will be back. Berlin has a distinct lack of places like this and when you find one you treasure it. And we do. Food, drink, service, alles gut! Plan to come here for a drink or two and you will leave with a belly full of ridiculously tasty food and a few glasses of their own beer, check out the 'tower' or the 'metre' of beer for a bit of fun. 10 out of 10.

Cash only pub that brews there own beer. Food and beer was amazing. Staff are so welcoming and accommodating. Menu has English description under eat choice. Really good place to visit for authentic German food and beer.

We truly enjoyed the homemade red beer—it was delightful! The pork knuckle was quite good, and the sausage was satisfying as well. However, I found the goulash a bit too chewy and lacking the rich, savory flavor that goulash should have.

The pub with it is own brewery. The pizza was simple. The beer was good and fresh. The interior is nice but the place wasn’t absolutely clean. I can’t say that I recommend the place for everyone. But if you are a beer geek you are looking for the opportunity to visit every micro brewery in the city.
