Very nice, Italian restaurant. Felt genuine, the waiter was funny in an obtuse manner, which was kind of charming. The food was amazing, very loud and hot inside the restaurant, but still great atmosphere! Would absolutely come back, and totally recommend! The only thing that surprised me was that the water cost 7€, being from Sweden I'm used to water being free in a restaurant, so probably just a culture clash, nothing negative, just surprising.

Great Al Fresco pizza and cocktail. Inexpensive and friendly staff
Liz Coombes - 3 weeks ago
It is a very cute little Italian restaurant and very busy. We were lucky to get a table on a Saturday evening, but I would recommend that you book a table in advance. The lighting is dimmed and the mood is cozy.
We had the lasagne and pasta with Italian sausage and eggplant. Both were not up to the Italian standard we’ve experienced before, therefore only 3 stars.
I wish I had tried the Parmesan truffle pasta, as it is made exactly like it should be by the table. With the big Parmesan cheese wheel and grated truffle.
All in all is was ok, but nothing more.

As italian I can say it's a great pizza. Very fresh and good ingredients, excellent service and nice atmosphere. We went on a Thursday night without reservationsm and they managed to give us a table last minute although the place was full. I can only recommend it
Madia Nitti - 4 months ago
We went there a busy evening, with 3 children, with out a reservation, and they helped us to a table within minutes. Fast service and we didn’t have to wait for long before the food arrived. The food was what you could expect. Nothing extraordinary, but good food for a good price. The Gnocchi was really good!

10/10 would recommend!
Hands down the best pizza i have had in Germany, and the pasta was even better! The dough was delicious and cooked to perfection, and the creaminess of the pasta was just superb.
The service is exquisite with a very hospitable and friendly workers!

Best scampi pizza I ever had. The quality of the cheese and olive oil is insane and the dough is perfect. The people there are super friendly as well and all in all it was a very nice cozy experience

I went this establishment twice .The first time was ok , Nothing to write home about,I had a pepperoni pizza, Unfortunately it had a soggy bottom .I was able to pay by card
The next time I had spaghetti Bolognese, literally no meat to be seen. Was not great .
The man demanded cash ,Said he only takes cash here,No card ,Very hostile. I said you took my card the other night ,He then said give me your card and quickly did a payment very sneaky , Without the other customers seeing.
Very dodgy would not go again. Tables not very clean ,The food on the last occasion was served on a chipped plate .

Good basic Italian food at a reasonable price. Really good portions sizes. Service could be friendlier, but this did not stop us from enjoying our meal. I would recommend the calzone!

Great restaurant with high quality gourmet food! The service is outstanding as well. We took the 3 courses menu and there was a lot of fantastic food, including caviar.
The prices are not cheap, but the experience is worth every penny. The view is also very beautiful and it adds to an overall atmosphere. Highly recommended!

This was one of the best experiences I have had in Berlin so far. The food was amazing, atmosphere was amazing and the service was also top notch. ' Mr. Loris ' who was serving us was the coolest guy, we ordered the chef's special menu where I wanted vegetarian and my partner wanted the normal with meat. Mr. Loris made this happen for us and every course had atleast 5 different items and every item was a bust of flavors in the mouth. This was the best vegetarian food I've had in Germany till now, that too with all these varieties. The cherry on top was that the whole staff came singing happy birthday for my partner with the cutest most delicious cake ever and the whole restaurant sang along , this was a very special moment for my partner. Thanks a lot to the Solar team for making my partner's birthday so beautiful.
P.s. we went at 8:30 pm in the summer, this way we were able to see the view in sunset and in the dark. This view of Berlin is the prettiest.

The food at Solar was exceptional — every dish was bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. The chef is truly talented, and the staff went above and beyond to make our evening special.

Stunning experience at Solar Bar in Berlin! The rooftop view is absolutely breathtaking — perfect for watching the sunset. Cocktails were creative and expertly crafted, while the staff struck the perfect balance between attentive and relaxed. Chic atmosphere without feeling pretentious. Ideal for an intimate date night or a casual evening out with friends. Can’t wait to return!

This restaurant is owned & run by a Vietnamese family, so the food is generally authentic, with some tweets for the locals. The food was good and tasty for a reasonable price. A great little local restaurant full when we arrived and some collected food to takeaway.

Mango Curry with chrispy chicken waa just ok. The sauce was tasteless and very liquid, and there was not much chicken. The service looked unmotivared, the weiter even did private calls loud.
Karina - 3 months ago
We ordered the chicken pho, vegetable spring rolls and the salmon curry and some drinks.
The pho broth was just okay....not really tasty. We could taste the fish sauce instead of the broth being boiled long. The portion was good.
The salmon was really dry and the curry sauce was okay and not really tasty. The portion and presentation was good.
Spring rolls were crispy but there was barely any vegetable filling inside. I would rate their spring rolls a 1/5.
Service was good.

Very tasty and cheap lunch menu. I had M5. Beef was tender and flavorful. I would recommend if you are nearby. Basically self-service. You order and pay at the front with cash. When the food is ready, you will need to go get it. Lunch time is very packed. I don’t think they have enough people to work there. I would wash their dishes because the food was so tasty.

Best value for money!
Authentic Indonesian curries, low wait time, and at a lunch price of 6€ per meal between 12:00-15:00.
Don’t expect the greatest food ever here, but if you want a cheap Indonesian meal with authentic flavours, this place is perfect.
Will be coming here often to support this restaurant.
Cash preferred but do accept card payment.

After the big change, I scarcely find anything related with Indonesian cuisine here. Two dishes we ordered didn't come close to anything Indonesian. It tasted OK but the authenticity couldn't be delivered. I think they might be better with Indian cuisine, but a big No from me if you would seek anything Indonesian. What a pity. This place used to serve a very good meal before.

When I discovered its location, I wasn't sure about this restaurant. Despite its location under an old and sketchy apartment building, the food turned out to be quite good.

I spent over 12 euros on two scones and an XS cappuccino. The scones were hard and the cappuccino lukewarm. There aren’t a lot of good cafés in potsdamer platz.
Cierra Martinez - a week ago
Was there just at the beginning of spring, got a beautiful place where we could soak up the Sun, such beautiful decor and of course nowhere near the least - the cappuccino is really a mood lifter.
I just wish they accept cards though 🥲

We tried the Scandinavian breakfast, chai tea latte, cappuccino, orange juice and toasted sandwich. My husband said it’s the best chai tea latte he has had. There was a little mix up with our order however the servers were very apologetic and gave us a muffin as a good will as well as quickly rectifying our order. The atmosphere was also great and the servers were really friendly.

Reviews
This review is based on staying at a number of Accor brand hotels .
This hotel met all the benefits of the Movenpick brand, except for the bathroom design. To shower, you have to climb over the 19 inches high bathtub sidewall - I measured it for this comment. This may be ok for young folks but for older folks it is hard to get in and out, besides the hazard of falling.
A minor issue is the 8 inches step into the bathroom and the hard to use sliding door.
The plus features are:
Right around the corner from the S train and bus stops.
A short train or bus ride to Potsdamer Platz: this area is close to two malls and a lot of restaurants.
Breakfast area is comfortable with natural lighting. The breakfast variety was a notch above Mercure and Novotel brands.
Receptionists are very cordial and helpful.
The room is L shaped and has a sofa and chair with a coffee table on one side. It loos and feels spacious.
Brandenburger Gate is only two stops on the underground.

Affordable menu prices, would definitely visit here once again. No waiting, a great new spot to try for supper. Great service and atmosphere, would recommend the food and good for kids too. A good selection of food within the menu, always has plenty of meals to choose from and new dishes added by the chefs constantly. Service was fantastic and absolutely adored the food, will be returning.

Went here recently with some friends and family and had such a great evening. The vibe is super relaxed and welcoming, and it’s the kind of place where you can take your time, enjoy good conversation, and just feel at home.
This time we had some great steaks, but I’ve been here before and tried the schnitzel with potato salad🤤and honestly, it really stuck with me. You can tell the kitchen puts real care into what they serve and the waiters were super friendly .
Also, a little bonus: after dinner we went upstairs to MoeGreene, the bar just above the restaurant, and it’s such a cool spot. Great drinks, cozy lighting, good music🤩definitely the kind of place you want to end your night at

Boxing Day in Berlin meant evening eating options were limited. This place was open so tired and hungry in we went.
As others have said in reviews, it's aimed at tourists. The food is good, not exceptional. Service very good though and serving staff very friendly.

Really good food and huge portions.
We had a wiener schnitzel that came with potato salad and fresh salad and we also had a pork knuckle with sauerkraut - both were real home food vibe and tasted really good.
Nice and friendly staff- recommend!
Spacious room. Music - a good christmas playlist as we visited in december, perfect volume too. Maybe a bit weird decor, but who cares if food is good, right?

I went to this café last time I was in Berlin with my father and sister, we were a little bit undecided as everything seemed delicious.
They helped us quickly to make our choice and we were delighted.
The presentation of the dishes was very appetizing. The staff was kind and welcoming from the beginning to the end.
It's a place not to miss if you want a great breakfast in Berlin. Thanks a lot for the positive atmosphere :)

Very tasty food and really good coffee! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating at this smaller cafe vibe eatery. The staff was all very friendly and delivered excellent service. We enjoyed a mix of avocado toast, eggs with Sucuk, coffee, fresh bread, and pastries. Definitely recommend for an easy, delicious breakfast at reasonable pricing.

You know when they say it’s the little things that matter, well I got scrambled eggs w Gouda and it came w side of veggies and WARM bread. The orange juice came from a magic garden that made it taste oh so delightful and frothy. Breakfast was excellent and portion generous all for 14 euros!! I saw they had some special beans which must be good as so many people got their Java

10/10 for this gem! We have been served by Emilia and it’s was great. We felt that she has just so much passion for what she is doing! She gives the best client experience. An amazing experience at Bertha! The food was incredibly delicious, every dish bursting with rich and refreshing flavors. The service was outstanding – Mai and Costa were friendly, professional, and always with a smile. Any question or request was met with warmth, making the evening unforgettable. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Berlin!

It was a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get a table here on March 8th for a festive dinner. We weren’t offered any seating options or alternatives—no suggestion to come later or sit at the bar. The man at the entrance didn’t seem happy to see us for some reason. However, we came back on the 9th, this time booking a table in advance.
The atmosphere is beautiful—I love this kind of intimate setting with candles and lots of small details. The service was excellent; the waiters explained the restaurant’s concept and helped us choose the best dishes and wine.
We had an octopus appetizer, and they also gifted us a salad. For the main course, we ordered chicken and risotto—everything was incredibly delicious. The seasoning, flavor combinations, and textures were just amazing. The wine was also excellent, and for dessert, we chose the chocolate mousse. The mix of sweet, rich mousse with slightly salty, brownie-like crumbles was simply wow!
Highly recommend!

The aubergine crème brûlée was mindblowingly good 🤯, creative & tasty! Steak with bone marrow was amazing, and the desserts as well 😋 . And, thanks to all the staff for their hospitality 🫶🏼 . Definitely a place I would return to try other dishes when visiting Berlin again.

Berta guarantees an outstanding experience. The restaurant exudes a family-like atmosphere that perfectly blends with professionalism, creating an excellent mix. The dishes served were fantastic and reminded me of my trip to Israel. They were creatively crafted, aesthetically presented, and generously sized. Not every dish was perfect, but each one offered a unique experience for the palate. I recommend trying several dishes to fully appreciate the chefs' capabilities.
The service is another incredibly positive aspect. Despite the busy atmosphere, I felt completely taken care of, including complimentary dishes we received to further explore the menu while waiting. As we were the last customers, we ended up closing the restaurant much later than the official hours. No one minded, and on top of that, at our request, we were served espresso even though the kitchen and bar were already closed.
I was also impressed by the decor. Traditional and family elements were brilliantly combined with modern, raw concrete and large glass windows. The open kitchen was adorned with traditional dishes, adding to the atmosphere—very charming! During my next visit to Berlin, I will definitely come back!
