A friend of mine and I went for a couple of drinks to TAUSEND and it war surprisingly the first Wednesday that they were opened. Very chick place with a 10/10 on the service. We just had a couple of drinks, but the staff were super friendly and cool with us. I would defo recommend it and I’ll be back when I visit the city.

Great little tucked away speakeasy. Was recommended this place by a friend and it didn't disappoint. Tucked away under a bridge behind a non descript door. The inside feels like a tastefully decorated bunker with two main seating areas, a large bar and a booth space with a reflective wall that adds greatly contributes to the vibe. The drinks are solid and well priced. The staff are welcoming and kind. The DJ that started off the night was a blast. The music was loud but not so much that you were screaming to be heard. The bathrooms were also very clean. FYI you can smoke indoors so for those not accustomed to that experience please be aware.

Me and the lads went out to this bar. DJ Mr Confuse was absolutely smashing – tunes were unreal. Drinks were decent, and the vibe was proper mint. Cracking night all round.

Here we tried several steaks and we loved it! The place is itself spacious and clean. Well decorated and gives the vibe. The staff is really friendly and helping. The service is top ! The starters and side dishes are great as well as main courses. There are several alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. It is suitable for dates or business evenings.Recommend!

We set outside but was a little cold. Thankfully there was a blanket and heater. It was very busy night and the service was rather slow & can be a bit more friendly. The atmosphere was lively. It would be good if you visit on a nice summer night.

The service is super professional. The way they treated the customers was very cozy and warmhearted. This is the best service I had over two weeks in Berlin. The food is excellent. Authentic yet mix nicely (the meat and Vegetables). I loved it! I am so much willing to offer tips!

After a Spree river cruise, we stopped here for drinks and absolutely loved it. The menu, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and couldn't stay for a main course, but I can highly recommend the appetizers. A special thanks to our waiter, Georg.

A bustling Japanese spot full of energy despite being tucked away on a quiet street. The space feels very communal, and the menu is extensive, with a wide range of nigiri, small bites, donburi, and steamed dishes to choose from. What a great lunch I had here with my friend, one of the best makis I've tried, it was so good I ordered twice! And the chicken,wow, delicious. They welcome us with a hot tea and we were served quite fast. I'm definitely coming back!

The quality and taste to price ratio here is unbeatable in Berlin. The service is always friendly and efficient and the green tea on the house is a nice touch. The atmosphere is always cozy despite the large space and canteen style seating - I enjoy sitting at the sushi bar and watching the chefs do their thing. One of my favourite spots in Berlin for sure.

One of my favorite go-to sushi places! The quality is surprisingly good for the price, and they offer great deals with happy hour and happy day specials. Fresh ingredients, tasty rolls, and fast service every time I visit. It’s affordable without sacrificing quality — I find myself coming back regularly. If you want to try authentic Japanese food, this place will be the best for that kind of experience. This place reminds me of a typical Japanese fast food place with quality products, very fast work and friendly waiters. The big plus point of the place is the speed of preparation and the taste of the food. Also, the food here is quite hearty. It may seem like you won't get full, but actually even a small set of sushi rolls is quite hearty. The average price is more than affordable, especially for Japanese food. You can order a set for €10-18 and you don't need to take drinks because the green tea is free.

This is a fine German tavern. We had made online reservations and were quickly taken to our reserved table upon arrival. The beer choice here is fantastic, not the usual single brand of many taverns in Germany. The waiting staff were very friendly, taking time to chat with customers and making everone feel welcome.. Good English spoken by all the staff we met. The food was very authentic and really tasty without being expensive. This informal, riverside establishment is well worth seeking out.

Great place for lunch! They just really have to do something about the yellow/ black wasps in that area, especially if you sit outside, it’s pretty bad. The service was amazing and the food was great! We loved it and couldn’t finish it.

Berliner Republik is a nice spot by the river with a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a casual drink or meal. I had a beer and a wurst, which were okay, nothing too special but satisfying. The staff were fine, not overly engaging but polite enough. The main highlight here is definitely the location and vibe, making it a pleasant place to sit back and enjoy Berlin.

Visited Berlin at the start of February and stumbled across this gem just down the road from our hotel. We absolutely loved everything about it. The whole concept of the beer prices changing like the stock market was brilliant, and the atmosphere was lively and friendly. We didn’t have a table booked but they still managed to fit us in. The food was great — the chilli sausage was mega — but the real star of the show was the rice pudding. We couldn’t get enough of it. We ended up visiting three times, and each time we were served by Marky, who was absolutely wonderful. So friendly and welcoming. We just really loved this place.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Our waiter was very friendly and elevated the entire dining experience to the next level. The food was flavorful and tasty. I particularly loved the Gambas al Ajillo and sole. The roasted rack of lamb was okay, but my favorite was the sole.

Went for a valentines special with champagne and wine pairing. The food was good. Nothing out of the ordinary. Waiters were attentive and all. They did charge 20 euros for a refill on the champagne for a 0.1 ml glass. The whole bottle of that brand costs 27 euros in retail. That left a bad taste on the evening. Up-pricing is ok but come on guys, your customers are paying good money on the wine pairing, give them a free refill of your not so fancy champagne. Otherwise it would habe been 5 stars

We had a very pleasant dinner here. The staff welcomed us warmly and seated us by the window, which made our experience even better. The pasta was excellent, and the shrimp appetizer was fresh and flavorful. The escargot was good as well. The mixed grill for two was extremely delicious. Our server was lovely and very polite. The only issue was that the main course took longer than expected to be served. Overall, a delightful evening!

Nice genuine French restaurant close to the Spree with a lot of tables outside. Easy way to enjoy the river, people and city life. Food is fast and presented well. Service is a bit slow but food is served fast. Menues are on the smaller side, but it should be enough. There were a lot of wasps here, so sitting outside was a problem.

Glad i had the chance to try Restaurant Nolle. Had the Berlin style potato soup with veggies/sausage & the Homemade meatball with fried potatoes & coleslaw. Soup was hearty & delicious. Meatball tasted more like a meatloaf. It was decent. The fried potatoes were a good choice. Waitress Sedenia was welcoming & friendly. Relaxed atmosphere. Met with busy dinner crowd. The decor gives a 1920's vibe. You definitely feel the vibration of the train passing through every 5 minutes or so. It's different & gives the restaurant some character. Overall, i enjoyed a pleasant dinner here.

The Nolle is one of our go-to places whenever we are in Berlin. Excellent food. (Huge portions) Good service. Smiling staff! The rattle of the trains overhead certainly add to the atmosphere! Love it!

Fine place, fine menu. Fast friendly service. Food is delicious, BUT you for sure can feel it was all cooked some time ago and warmed up for you. It’s delicious, but you don’t feel like they cooked for you. Also loud place. There is a train station and building shakes every 5 minutes but we liked it.

We popped in on a cold, busy day without a reservation and were offered a seat at a shared table. We are usually somewhat "to our selves " type of people, but the arraignment, and the warm feeling of this place gave us no hesitation even though we don't really speak the language. The employees were proficient in English. We started with a gorgeous latte and milk chocolate hot cocoa. You can choose between white, milk, and dark cocoa so that tells you what kind of place this is. My husband raved about the cocoa and he is not easily impressed. I splurged and ordered the poached egg with ricotta and thyme on bread. I was very happy they agreed to substitute croissant for the bread . The combination of egg with ricotta never entered my mind previously, but it will never leave my mind after having the privilege to taste it. If I am near any Zimt und Zucker in the future I will gladly come again.

Cosy place to grab a bite and have a good cup of coffee. Good portions and excellent food . Scrambled eggs with goat cheese and walnuts is a must. If you just drop in you will probably share a table . If you like privacy make a reservation.

We did not have a reservation and were lucky to instantly get a table! The waitress was professional and attentive. The coffee and hot chocolate were very good, apart from the fact that the hot chocolate was mildly warm instead of hot. Preference maybe? We shared a blue berry cheesecake which was gluten free, light, not too sweet and very delicious. The cakes and items on the menu are all labeled with "vegan" or "gluten free", which was helpful. The prices, however, are a little expensive.

At the entrance there was a sign asking to stop and wait for the waiter to let you in and to check for a reservation, but it was fine even if you didn’t have one. Inside it was great — a very local spot for morning breakfast, and it was just perfect

Very nice place located near the river. The stuff is friendly and with stylish outfit. The food is very delicious. Visited it twice. Highly recommended. Try making a reservation in advance or visit early in the morning.

Ignore those Einstein Kaffe chain establishments. This has a feel of an old Berlin cafe right in the heart of historical surroundings. Very respectful service and excellent food. This was a brunch worth the search.

Einstein Unter den Linden is truly a gem in the heart of Berlin! The atmosphere is both classic and cozy, making it a perfect stop after exploring the boulevard. I ordered their famous Apfelstrudel and it was absolutely incredible. Freshly baked, perfectly balanced in sweetness, and served warm with cream. The portion was enormous, honestly big enough for two people to share, so keep that in mind if you’re not very hungry. Another highlight was the tea service. Instead of just a single cup, they brought a whole teapot which easily filled four cups. The staff were attentive and professional. Overall, it’s not only about the food and drinks but also the authentic old-Berlin atmosphere that makes the experience so special.

The Austrian restaurant was wonderfully welcoming, its service attentive yet relaxed, just as you would hope for in a place of this standard. Each dish was delicious, but the true highlight came at the end — apple strudel, served with cream, that felt like the perfect sweet memory to carry away. Best I have eaten.

I visited Block House at Friedrichstraße yesterday as a solo guest without a reservation and was seated without any problem. I started with the creamy potato soup, which was nice, but the bread that came with it had a bit too much garlic and salt for my taste. For the main course I chose the monthly offer: sirloin steak with fresh green beans, French fries and an orange sauce. I was happy I asked for the sauce on the side, as it wasn’t really that good and this way I could fully enjoy the pure taste of the meat. The fries were also a bit over-salted. However, the steak itself was perfectly cooked and very tasty – definitely the highlight of the meal. The service was welcoming and professional throughout. With two beers, the total came to about 40 €, which feels fair for the quality and location. Overall a good experience, with small details that could be improved.

Service and food is great. Perfectly kept ordered rawness. I would recommend taking smaller sized steaks (up to 200g). The larger ones does not get the same great taste.

The fillet Mignon was cooked exactly to my order and was very enjoyable. The 160g was big enough for me. The garden salad came out first and was fresh and light. There was a potato in its jacket with my meal and a lovely piece of toasted bun. I would recommend this steak house.

They gave us tables for a 31 people-booking just 2 hours in advance. We were thinking of sitting outside to see the bridge and the water but it was windy, so they fixed tables inside instead. I had tagliatelle con filetti and that was a great dish.
