My husband and I came here for a date night dinner. Our waiter, Mansoor, was very attentive and very kind. The appetizer, our meals, our desert, were all phenomenal. No complaints at all. All the staff were wonderful as well. 10/10 would recommend!!

Absolutely loved this place! The food was great, the staff was friendly and the prices were more than fair. I recommend the schnitzel and a Berliner Pilsner on a warm summer evening.

Grilled Chicken on pepper sauce w/ basmati rice was grilled to perfection and delicious! Veal schnitzel with roasted potatoes and cranberry sauce was superb!!! Service with a smile which we truly appreciate!

Amazing restaurant. I had the spaghetti bolognese on my first night in Berlin (I wanted some comfort food). I was late from my flight and this place was close to my hotel. I was so impressed, it was delicious. Because it was so good I went back again on my last night in Berlin. It was even better than I remembered. Incredible food, incredible service, this steak and potatoes and Peppercorn sauce was the best meal I had in Berlin. Thank you 😊

This was the best schnitzel I’ve had in Berlin just wonderfully seasoned and so flavorful. I also tried their pasta which was delicious as well. They can cook and have a cute patio

Great quality pastries and food. A very extensive selection for breakfast, perfect for brunch. The staff was quick and very attentive. For dine in is cash only, but m for takeout over the counter you can pay both cash and card.
My favorite were the cookies, all of them just melt in your mouth. I’m happy I bought so many, so I could bring back to the Netherlands.
I must give a compliment to the Lotus cheesecake which was very delicious, a bit too big for me, not prefect size if you have big appetite.
I cannot recommend this place enough! Would go back in a heartbeat! 🙏🏻

Sweets are good and they taste nice but the Turkish coffee, oh my god one of the best coffees I ever had

Unique experience with Turkish style breakfast. Came along way from center just to give a try.
Products are fresh, tasty and place is easy to find.
Also staff were very friendly, I should admit. I will come again for breakfast for sure. There are many options to taste and try.
I liked their muffin as well as it could be a suggestion for a start.

Less stars for cash only. Can get super busy at lunch, so expect waiting a bit. A huge choice of breakfasts , also great desserts, food was super fresh , coffee also super good, in general it’s a great place to have your brunch, I recommend!

This place is within 5min walk from Gesundbrunnen train station, it is usually crowded in the weekends, recommend to come for Turkish breakfast, their simit is the greatest in Berlin so far, they also offer lots of traditional Turkish dishes and sweets, beautifully decorate cakes. In some days the lady doesn't feel like smiling much, but it won't affect the taste of the food :)

Take away ordered, rice dish with a lot of sauce, looks good, package not sealed and given in a paper bag, after few steps walking sauce was everywhere and also on my shoes, not transportable (paper bag was wet and destroyed), food not very enjoyable without sauce, shoes ruined, everything was dirty with sauce. PLEASE SEAL THE TAKE AWAY DISHES!!!!!!

I got there way before lunch but it was open so I'd expect what I ordered or a thumbs down for not having my dish. None of the ingredients except rice and chicken were served. No cilantro, no lemongrass, no special sauce. It was a loveless dish made by busy people preparing for lunch. I didn't even feel like complaining because surely they would have served it had they had the ingredients. I hope that isn't how they run their business.

Extremely good curry wurst! Much better than what I had in a ‘famous’ restaurant. Sauce is nice, like the spice! With fries only cost you 3.6€ (1.8€ each).

This place is perfect for a quick meal at the station. You can either grab your food and go, or take a break inside. It's quieter compared to the surrounding area. The staff is friendly, and the food is slightly above average in quality. The prices are also reasonable.

Meh! Only cash (21st century guys), frozen french fries, flavorless sausage, didn't speak English... Meh!

Lovely place. Super delicious traditional Turkish food. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

This is one of the best Turkish places I have tried so far. The food is well marinated/spiced and flavourful and the ambience and service are also great. The staff is courteous. Unlike many places that only add salt to their marination, their chicken is done well. Lahmacun and Tavuk Kulbasti (Chicken) are our staples whenever we visit this place. Their Ayran (buttermilk) is good too. Just a few meters walking distance from Gesundbrunnen Central, the place is lively and enjoyable with friends/family. Do check out!

Just in the midway from S-bahn Gesunbrunen to U-bahn Pankstraße. Most probably Turkish shop but everything Halal. We ordered M2 and M3 item which are Durum Döner costed 9.00 euro and Teller Döner costed 10.00 euro respectively. Those were kind of set menu including Pommes and Cola. Döner were perfectly rolled and toasted, Pommes were fresh and crispy. I would say one of the best döner I have ever had. Definitely will recommend it.

This is a good place to taste traditional Berliner curry sausages. The food itself is not really special but the shop owner is quite nice and ambitious with his business!
Tiep Pham - a week ago
Visitors in the market for currywurst are often directed to big names like Curry 36 or Konnopke’s Imbiss. But locals prefer Curry Baude, little more than a window tacked on the side of the Gesundbrunnen U-Bahn station. The sausage attains the perfect equilibrium of crispy yet juicy, the ketchup-to-curry ratio is near-perfect, and the pommes are perfectly portioned to balance out the meat. Sure, the service may be especially gruff, even by German standards, but that’s part of the charm. [$]

I had read about this place in alot of forums and absolutely wanted to try it.
It was just outstanding... undoubtedly the best currywurst ever tasted!
What made it extra special was the discussion with one of the owners. He was super nice, smiling and very professional. When i told him that we have come from far to try their currywurst as they are very famous. He laughed loud and said... I know that !

Extremely good curry wurst! The bread could be a bit better, but the the sausage and sauce is amazing. Get the "Haussoße" and sausage with skin ("Darm"). The chef is also super friendly :)

Extremely friendly staff. Good prices. Quick service. The taste was alright. I've had better pizzas. If you're looking for a quick lunch/dinner, go for it. But if you are interested in proper italian food, try somewhere else and be prepared to pay more as well:).

Friendly staff. Comparatively cheap (not high quality though) but good for a quick bite. They also offered a piece of garlic bread which is a nice gesture.

2019-04-22 current offer: 1.50€ for a Döner :-O
Sven Guckes - 4 years ago
2€ for a Döner... I didn't expect good taste nor friendly service. I was curious how it can be so cheap? I was very skeptical, thinking oh it cannot be really good 😅 but I was so wrong!!! The man was so sweet and kind and the Döner was as good as some other places where you pay 5€!😍 I wouldn't say it's the best in the world, but it is tasty 👍🎉 I read some negative comments here, I cannot relate to... Hmm... maybe the quality is unstable, or maybe recently they improved 😊
Tingting Wang - 2 years ago
quality is not the best - salat is basic but fresh, soßen excellent (spicy is decently punchy unlike many places), meat feels lower quality than other places.
but other places charge 50% more, so this quality is good enough, and I find it really good value at 2.50 a Döner. I could eat this every day.

Too much sauce, sauce is bad

Most probably you will find the cheapest Döner in Berlin Herer. Döner cost only 2 Euro (last year it was 1.50€). Ofcourse the test and quality is also as it preis.

Friendly staff, we don’t speak german, but they understood and talked english, which was so nice. Breakfast selection was big, we were not sure what to get, but ended with scrambled eggs and a dish starting with M. Delicious! Hearty! We got very full and ready for the rest of our day 😍

It was an acceptable place to have breakfast. Everything including food and service were in middle range. Nothing special. Prices were affordable. For a full breakfast for three persons, we paid 55.

“We love sushi” ? I thought the name of your restaurant is “Ryu”. Some sushi weren’t made accurate and didn’t match the photos published in the delivery app. The taste was 6 out of 10, so I’m quite confused why are there so many nice reviews.

By far and hands down the best sushi I have ever had delivered. Great fish, grand Tuna and Salmon quality and actually really well balanced rice. Amazing 👏
PS: I actually had to come back: that lemon special sauce is insane!!

I ordered delivery from Ryu Sushi and absolutely loved it. In the past year I have tried my way through multiple different sushi delivery restaurants, never finding the perfect one to stay loyal to. I think I've found it!

I got spring rolls and Ryu Sake Inside Out. Both were soo delicious. I am so glad that I have found a good sushi place to order for home delivery. This would be my go to place.
