Big variety of flavors, delicious and very reasonable prices. They also have a lot of space in front of the store to sit and enjoy your ice cream.

Above-average, self-made ice cream with a wide selection and varied flavors. Very popular with the local families and children, since this is the only ice cream parlor in the quarter. The queue can be ridiculously long though, which definitely detracts from the atmosphere. It's a bit overrated compared to the best in Berlin (lack of local competition), but you're not going wrong here.

I will recommend the Pizza and Poretti Beer. Pizza is so good, it's hard to finish one Pizza alone. 😅😅 It's so big. I love the food.

Good food although the amount of meat tends to be over the top: If you already have two kinds of meat, why add a third one? The portions are big, so you have to think twice if you really want to have a starter. Great service. Plenty of space and, in summer, you have two outdoor areas as well.

Great ambiance, polite staff, and really good food. The eiscafe closes by 8 though, but otherwise a great place to dine out. Would definitely be in my list of top 5 Italian places in Lichtenberg and Karlshorst.

Having just moved to Berlin 2 months ago and temporarily staying in Karlshorst, I ventured out for my first restaurant meal here and it was so good...I had the schnitzel with pfifferlinge and those perfect potatoes...I was hooked. I came weekly after that, not just for the amazing food, but for the wonderful, friendly service as well. This became my home away from home away from home and I'm a bit sad leaving the neighborhood now, though I would be happy to make the trip out here for the wonderful schnitzel, perfectly crisp flammkuchen, heavenly roast duck and friendly smiles. Thank you, my friends, for making me feel so welcome here in Berlin!

Went to KaWi for the first time with my boyfriend for lunch today. We were not waiting so long for our food to arrive and it was really delicious. Unfortunately a big misunderstanding happened between us and the young black hair waitress. When we were in the middle of ordering our food, a menu card fell from the counter, which the waitress who was taking our order went to pick up. In the split second she was doing this, another younger waitress came to ask if we wanted to order. We told her we were still not finished ordering with her colleague, who quickly came back to finish taking our order after picking up the menu card. My boyfriend pointed out that this young waitress seemed offended by our response as she made an angry face when we said this, and my god, did it show in her service!! She slammed our plates down when bringing our food, and as I was asking her for a glass of tap water, she didn't even stop to look at me, she simply kept walking and nodded. When she came with the water, my boyfriend and I tried to explain to her that we believe she is misunderstanding us, and that we were in the middle of ordering our dishes with her colleague when she asked what we wanted to order. She just said repeatly "it's fine, it's fine", and walked away. We felt sooo uncomfortable so we just ordered with the other staff not to annoy her anymore than she already was. I do not know if the young waitress was having a bad day or what made her so upset, but it was a very strange reaction and even though the food and cakes were great, we wouldn't return because of this. Such a pity as it did seem like a cute cafe but I've never experienced such a hostile service before :(

It’s a love and hate relationship with KaWi. I fell in love with their food, it’s very tasty and comforting. However the service was slow, we had to wait at least 40 minutes (sometimes more) for the food to arrive. My desired outcome would be for the owner to add more staff in the kitchen, so that the food can come out quicker.

Super tasty lunch dishes at very fair prices. There is something for every taste, from German home cooking to delicious curries and great desserts. You can either eat on site in the small, cozy bistro or have the food delivered. Local pickup is of course also possible.

Very good catering service, tasty, fair prices, very flexible in terms of timing, well before the actual operating hours (the standard opening times are currently very short). Billing is also very straightforward. Highly Recommended!

I live near this restaurant and had been wanting to try it for some time. I visited on a friday evening around 7pm. Our party was 2 adults and one young teen. Almost as soon as we sat down we were given a menu, which also included a version in english which was really nice (all though the english version seemed to be missing the egg fried rice and egg noodles page). In terms of looks the restaurant is nice, we sat outside and the tables and chairs are comfortable and spacious. We took a while to decide, the young asian waiter was very nice and gave us some time. I ordered the egg fried rice (Nasi-Goreng version), the egg noodles with chicken, and also some egg rolls (spring rolls). The spring rolls were extremely good, I had never tasted this type of preparation before, they were a little spicy and had a little plate of sauce on the side which was transparent and somewhat sweet, if you ate the rolls with the sauce it changed the flavour significantly in a good way. Very very good with and without the sauce. The experience with the rice and noodles was also very similar, amazingly good, also with a touch of spice for the Nasi-Gorent). I would say food presentation was also great, food looks appetizing, you want to dig in as soon as it arrives. Service was friendly and food arrived quickly. I will for sure visit again.

Super tasty food and nice staff. Specialized in sushi but everything is delicious. Lemonades are also amazing. I’ll leave you here the menu so you can check before going ;) (pics taken in sept 2022) Super recommended place!

Fairly wide range of Thai, Vietnamese and Japanese food, all done to a decent level especially considering the price. Vegan options also which isn't always a given with such cuisine. Excellent wait staff who were very friendly, courteous and helpful. Highly recommended.

Food was okay, I ordered a Tofu gebraten with yellow curry for 6€ and it was nice, not a lot to eat though. 🍚 I had to wait a bit at lunchtime because multiple people were already waiting and it took a bit of time to prepare the food. Don't mind the plate in the photos, it's my fault, I asked to eat there too late, instead of takeaway.

Good opportunity to quickly get something on hand. Short waiting times and the food was still very warm. In terms of taste, the food is in the middle range, but it's by no means bad. Prices are okay at €3-4 for a noodle box. I can recommend number 4 here, even though it doesn't contain a lot of chicken, the taste is very tasty. This shop is good as a quick snack. The employees were polite and met my expectations. I can definitely recommend this store and give it 4 stars. I have to deduct one star because of the amount of chicken and the average food.

It's a nice place to spend Saturday evening. Friendly staff, good shisha, a beer with free nuts. There was Dj making music inside. You can also choose to sit in outside terrace. :)
