Simple food, well presented and served at a reasonable price. Keep some pizza crust back to feed the sparrows if eating outside. Nice atmosphere in the garden area.

Pizza was good, lasagna was tasty - but it’s more “Italian style” than the original Italian receipt.
Riccardo Dg - 3 years ago
Guys, the waitress was awesome, so 5 score for service, but the lasagna was the worst I have ever tried:( *the frozen pizza in my fridge tasted better than it... I hope you can improve on it..

Quiet and elegant restaurant with lovely food, altho a little bit pricey. No problems accommodating group of 14 without prior reservation.

Solid 4. Was ok, to overcome hunger
They have special lunch prices for some dishes (the drink is not included)
The portion was gigantic
They accept only cash.

It is a comfortable place to take a lunch during the week. The place is opened to the public even when it looks like a business restaurant. They have different menus every day and the prices are reasonable. The prices show in the entrance vary if you pay in cash. I think the people who work in the surrounding seem to have an especial price.

Nice place to eat. However as I recall, they weigh the salad with the porcelain plate which was like 3 times the weight of the salad I had picked and the price turned to be exorbitant.

Good location.
Nomad 97 - 4 years ago
Really friendly staff and a fairly balanced selection of three meals a day, plus a few desserts and a salad bar.
Unfortunately, I have to deduct one point because my food was quite cold, which I found a shame. Otherwise, it tasted very good, and if you want a little more seasoning, salt and pepper shakers are available.
All in all, a good cafeteria for a small price and large portions.

The Pho with Beef was pretty tasty. The broth could have been a bit more stronger and deeper for my taste. Beef was falling apart and very tender and tasty. Wan Tan were average, would rather recommend the spring rolls as an appetizer. Sticky Mango Rice rounded it up nicely.
preyforlust - 2 weeks ago
We ordered pad Thai with chicken, red curry with chicken and pho with tofu. Everything tasted delightful!! The service was also very fast and the place was clean. It’s under 20 minutes walk from Berlin Hbf. If you like Vietnamese food, this restaurant is definitely a must try!

Great food, incredibly tasty and good value for money. Had a beef salad to start with a mango duck curry for main and a mango lassi to drink. Total €34. Portions are generous too which makes it highly recommendable.

I had pumpkin curry with vegan duck. The curry itself was very delicious and creamy, but the vegan duck was on a whole another level 🤤 It was exquisite, could be the best vegan "something" I have ever tried!
They have other vegan options as well and the atmosphere is really nice. Totally recommend 💯

One of the best PhoBos we had (and we had a lot of them!), such an ambient place, helpful waiters, nice style and such an interesting food serving. The sticky rice dessert with coconut and mango is beyond tasty! Come here for a yummy satiating meal

This is a good Subway location. We had a vegetarian sandwich with onion and avocado sauce, and it tasted fresh with the classic quality you expect from Subway. The outside area was not very clean, so we chose to sit inside. It is conveniently located near the M train and U-Bahn.
Volkan Oğuzorhan - 5 months ago
I had a generally good experience at this Subway. The staff were friendly and the service was quick, which I really appreciated. However, I was very disappointed with the Nacho Chicken Bites. They clearly hadn’t been in the oven long enough they were barely warm and had a limp, unappetizing texture. Definitely not what I expected. Hopefully next time more care will be taken in preparing them, or the whole product gets an overhaul because otherwise the visit was pleasant
Prince Altair - 4 months ago
It's Subway, so the food is pretty much standard for the franchise. But when you need something with a bit of veggies in it and you can't afford the fancy things, Subway is a good choice. Plus it was literally across the road from where I stayed so I couldn't beat it for convenience.

Not expensive, very good value for money as the food was the best sushi I've ever had. So tasty. We were served quickly. I recommend the Akito 2 platter and gyoza for starters. Also, get the fresh lemonade! We would definitely go again.
Tracie Williams - 6 years ago
Nice hidden gem of a place. Cozy Sushi joint. The miso soup was delicious, especially since it was a rainy night in Berlin. The chicken gyoza was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, it was very flavorful. I had selection #7. The maki rolls were wonderful all around and the nigiri tasted so fresh. The staff was very pleasant and kind. The prices are not bad for the quality of the sushi and nigiri.

Decent Italian food and pleasant outdoor patio seating. Our waiter was pushy, and at the end, added a tip to bill all by himself without asking (!). We were unfortunately seated at a improvised table with wood planks next to a vent with cold air, a unpleasant experience, specially since there were plenty of other open tables. Would not go back.

A delightful piece of Italy with gorgeous food and friendly staff. We had a mix of dishes which all went down very well and I found the Argentinian beef pasta to be exceptionally tender. Tiramisu was perfect. Atmosphere was spot on, relaxed and not too noisy. Will definitely be visiting again.

Cozy place in Berlin with good service, speaking at least three languages (German, English, and Italian), with fair prices and good quality pizza.

Fantastic meal. Would 100% recommend the beef filet in red wine sauce. Was to die for! Overall experience was lovely, staff were friendly and helpful, and it course the table...

It’s quite a big place with some standard asian food. Service was very friendly and also very fast. Had the curry with duck and it arrived very fast, which tell you some things about the food. It is good but not out of this world. I had difficulties with the menu because it is so extensive and makes it difficult to choose a dish.
Otherwise prices are okay for the good portions.

I hat sot lac with chicken, very tasty. My friend had beef dish, but the beef was a little like rubber. Sushi was okay. Cozy atmosphere, menu also in english. Overall, I recommend

Vietnamese food in Berlin never lets you down!
We tried a couple and this is one of the best. Prawns are so large - I ate them like chicken, and portions are big too.
Teapot with a side handle and tiny cups were a nice touch.

Dinner alone, 22€ for fried rice with crispy Duck, soup with salmon. Owner discount me 10% cause i can speak Vietnamese (I paid 20€). If u speak Vietnamese here you may have a discount as well 😂

Amazing food experience!
Not so far from the center, this restaurant is really a great place for you. The food is delicious. The staffs are helpful and friendly. The food has discount on some dishes for lunch from Mon - Fri.
The atmosphere and decorating are warm, cosy.
The price from 7.5 to 18.5 euro for each dish. It’s affortable! Besides, we didn’t have to wait long for the food.

Fantastic coffee, service and atmosphere. The staff speak very good English and were very welcoming. I visited three days in a row - lovely place to sit for an hour with a coffee and a pastry and watch the world go by. Order an extra chocolatey mocha! It is the best!
Christina Greenway - a month ago
Breakfast sandwich with egg, avocado and pesto cream was very tasty. Staff was very freundlich. It was 33 degrees Celsius and they had iced coffee and electric fans. I am grateful they took credit cards. Atmosphere was nice with great music but not too many customers there mid morning. Bathroom was clean and had cool flyers. Since it was a bit expensive I only visited twice during an 8 day stay in Berlin.

Nice location just near the train station. Stopped by for a quick drink and snack. Not too pricey but good service and friendly. Many seats for you to relax with variety of menus. Toilet is available and free of charge. WiFi is available with a good speed. I like hot chocolate, good smell and creamy. There is no parking but easy to access.

Food was very good. Coffee, hot and strong. But they were very busy and it took a long time for us to order. Toilet door had no lock. Owner was also not wearing gloves when handling some cake. No one wore masks. Quite surprisingly.

Great food
Great service
Great atmosphere
The perfect place to enjoy a great Italian dinner with family. The best Italian so far in Berlin for me

We loved it. We were there for a couples dinner, service was quick, polite and attentive. Food -> absolutely delicious, their seasons menu had a great selection. We had a bottle of rose that was very yummy and their overall wine selection was great, there’s definitely something for everyone.

This is a lovely Italian restaurant tucked away in a quiet area and yet worth making the effort to find. It's the kind of traditional place that offers a small but well selected menu along with daily specials which match whatever is in season.
We dropped in for lunch on a sunny day and were immediately given some lovely sourdough bread and olive oil to munch on while we made our decision. This was a good start and matched our nicely cooked meals: my pasta with tuna dish had just the right amount of bite in the pasta while the sauce was both light and fresh.
So Petrarca turned out to be an excellent find. The staff were very friendly and helpful while the food was top notch.

Lucky to have a really really good Italian restaurant just next to my house. Friendly staff good food. Elaborate wine list. Menu is concise. Staff speak English and are friendly. Only drawback is this venue does not accept credit cards or PayPal or any other means of payment except cash. But the food and customer service being good I would definitely come back.

A standout Italian dining experience in Mitte! The place was elegant and the service was truly awesome — it felt less like being served and more like being hosted.
The food was exceptional across the board. The Linguine con Gamberoni was perfectly cooked with massive, juicy prawns. The tableside preparation of the Truffle Tagliatelle in the Parmesan wheel was a delight to watch. Even the medley of grilled vegetables was incredibly fresh!

Just back from my Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad there ( yes, I know, but I have not had one in years ) and it was so good, I will be back. Pal got Pizza and gave me a slice. Loved it too.
It's definitely not fast food, one has to wait a bit. But you will be rewarded with a treat. I for one can only recommend it.

my friend had her birthday dinner, the food was great but the service was not. the older server, something with an s, was visibly annoyed by us being there.
apart from the unwelcoming service, the food was amazing, i had the rigatoni, my friends had the pepe y cacio, risotto and pizzas, all delicious. they also serve a pretty good hugo if that’s your thing
slightly pricey, but id say it’s worth it. would recommend if you don’t mind a disgruntled waiter

Went alone on Valentine’s Day. Service was nice but could be improved. I like the food in general but median+ for black Angus fillet was a bit too hard (my bad). Wanted to have dessert but didn’t have the stomach. Loved the wines I had. ❤️
