A great location in a historic site dating back to the late 19th Century. They definitely play to that as the menu and atmosphere here is set up to take you back there with very authentic and period dishes throughout. Nice touch having the tax added to the prices on the menus....very detai orientated. Service was exemplary, fast, and courteous. We had the enormous Schnitzel, the liver specialty, the Bavarian meat roast and the Currywurst. All of them were really well prepared and arrived very quickly. Drinks menu is extensive and reasonably priced with lots of genuine German drinks on offer. A very authentic and welcoming German experience that is a must for any tourist looking to try some German food at decent non tourist prices. Absolutely loved it, and as a Berlin resident, I will be back again. Highly recommended.

Absolute world class. Very clean, great atmosphere, all managed by fast, friendly and professional staff. Food was fantastic, everyone in my group was really suprised. If you are comming from far away, it would be a big waste not to try what this place has to offer. Great beer, dishes full of flavor. One of the best restaurants i've been to.

Highly recommended German restaurant that serves delicious dishes. Enjoyable atmosphere by the river and on the terrace. The restaurant is quite spacious & accommodates large groups indoor & outdoor.

Great place by the river to catch some drinks and even better to dine with family or friends, calm atmosphere and good service, food was great and served fast. Staff was friendly and the price is average for what we ordered. Highly recommend if you're near Central Station and advise to reserve table if you have a large group.

Great, really great service, was the best. The place also is nice, with a good vibe, and bathrooms are impecable. About the food, I order the pork knuckle with dumplings, and was good, but the meat a little dry.

They didn't have many options on their menu in the shop, but the food was surprisingly good for this type of place. The portion was quite large, and we ended up ordering way too much. We sat down by the river, and the atmosphere was really nice. The only issue was that there were quite a few people smoking in the outdoor area, so we had to keep changing our tables to stay away from them.

Food Quality: surprised at the amazing pizza. The dough was fluffy, the ingredients were fresh, real cut up salami. Calamari rings were very greasy though. French fries also very good. Portions: quite decent. Drinks: biergarten style plus coffee Price: $$ not expensive, get good amount of food. Service: nothing outstanding, decent, and quick. A bit of an order mix up, but fixed quickly. Atmosphere: beautiful location by the river. And if you are lucky (or not) there could be some event happening and have some cultural music playing in the background. Highlights: location and pizza Things to improve: could use a little bit more shade during the summer. Payment Method: CC, cash

A restaurant located inside an art museum, situated in one of Germany's most upscale areas. Surprisingly, the prices are quite reasonable, and the atmosphere is pleasing.

Great atmosphere for a cold beer by the water at sunset 🌅 it’s a super underrated place and even not many Berliners know about it. They do decent pizza with a self-service bar, what I like the most about this place is the atmosphere - it almost feels like being on vacation, 10 minutes away from the Central Station.

Nice restaurant / beergarden in a remarkable place in Berlin! Next: the "schwangere Auster" and the house of cultures, next to the Spree channel. The place is more or less a huge beergarden with half of it as a self service area. Food and drinks are good. Teas and lemonade are fresh, wine and beer are chilled and tasty. The waiters are relaxed. Some of them are quite new to the job but I guess that's because everything just opened up again. Please mind: the serviced area offers almost no shadow during the late afternoon. But as the Terrasse is facing to the west you'll have quite a nice sunset and long sun hours. That place is nice to have a short break ore meet with a couple of friends for a few hours. Guests are more tourists and/or conservative. You may book your table vie "open table".
