Had a great dinner here last night and we were really happy with everything, from the location, vibe, to the staff and especially the German traditional food! We recommend the wurst platters and charcuterie board, as well as the strudel for dessert! A must try it you want to get the German experience and make sure you book as it gets really busy for dinner.

We visited it saturday evening. Of course, it was full. We had a reservation (recommended). In the first 15 minutes nothing happened. For example nobody asked the drinks. Afterwards everything went well. The food was similar like in other bavarian pubs. Tasteful, enough but really nothing special. Close to us was an airfreshener, its smell was terrible. We didn’t understand why it was needed.

Solid classics. Schnitzel, sausages, sauerkraut, and good beer, all prepared properly and served hot. No gimmicks. No overthinking. Just honest German cuisine. The location is a big plus. Close to the Reichstag and Spree, but it still feels local, not touristy. The outdoor seating is great when the weather allows. Service is efficient and professional. Staff know the menu, move fast, and keep things simple. Atmosphere is relaxed and authentic. A mix of locals and visitors, which is usually a good sign. If you want a dependable German meal in Berlin with character and history, this place delivers. I would come back without hesitation.

Very popular place. Been in business since 1855. Came here late around 8:30 just to have asparagus, soup and 250gm of it. Excellent meal.

We arrived here for dinner after traveling from Toronto, Canada. The staff were very friendly and accommodated us despite no reservations. The food was very good and there are non alcoholic options of the drinks. I would come again to taste German cuisine.

ok wait this place is actually really cool I love the vibes, they speak English, and the food AND drinks are good. And the vibes and aesthetic are cool— I literally chilled here for a few hours unexpectedly. seriously go here. get the share platter with goose pate. It’s good

The place is not bad, honestly, especially Biergarten, you can go there with friends and grab some drinks with a beautiful view on Spree, but that's it. In the cafe the food is pretty bad, we ordered a pizza and it was dry and lacking of filling, also the desserts there are bad, we ordered a chocolate ganache with cherries and it was disgusting cause they put salt and pesto oil in it. Then I didn't really feel good after their Latte. It was my birthday, but we didn't get any discounts or special offers, waiter just wanted us to buy a pannacota. I can recommend this place only for Biergarten with a good view.

They didn't have many options on their menu in the shop, but the food was surprisingly good for this type of place. The portion was quite large, and we ended up ordering way too much. We sat down by the river, and the atmosphere was really nice. The only issue was that there were quite a few people smoking in the outdoor area, so we had to keep changing our tables to stay away from them.

Food Quality: surprised at the amazing pizza. The dough was fluffy, the ingredients were fresh, real cut up salami. Calamari rings were very greasy though. French fries also very good. Portions: quite decent. Drinks: biergarten style plus coffee Price: $$ not expensive, get good amount of food. Service: nothing outstanding, decent, and quick. A bit of an order mix up, but fixed quickly. Atmosphere: beautiful location by the river. And if you are lucky (or not) there could be some event happening and have some cultural music playing in the background. Highlights: location and pizza Things to improve: could use a little bit more shade during the summer. Payment Method: CC, cash

An under the radar biergarten with lovely views and chill atmosphere. The food was nice and we found tables in the sun with no difficulty. I’d also like to return when it’s also a bit colder as the restaurant inside looks beautiful.

I wish I could give more stars for service! It was incredible and I'm definitely going to be back. Food was amazing, decorations were nice and staff was just wonderful. We got personalized recommendations and a free small dessert. When they noticed we were sitting and chatting for a while we were brought a free glass of water without prompt as well. I've rarely ever had such an amazing dining experience!

We were a party of four and visited here on around 16:30 of a Thursday. We were served kindly. The food was good, the tables were kinda old or old looking (idk!) The chicken and the duck had a not really pleasant taste. We are not tip payers, so we didn’t choose any percentage that appeared on the machine for card payment. They were nice after we chose not to tip, too! The place is a bit pricey, due to location I suppose. Overall I’d recommend this place if you are hungry and can’t walk any longer!

Bit pricier than other Vietnamese restaurants but i prefer to pay 3-5euro more and have better food. Quality is good. Service is depends on the staff members. But it’s simply so good. Better quality in every point. Ingredients, chef’s cooking skills and decoration, cleanness of restaurant. They have another restaurant In potsdamer platz. They have sushi and so on, that place’s sushi menu is better than Vietnamese food in my personal opinion. But dont get it wrong, I also like their food. Food, quality matches the price. Here as well. I would prefer this one more for Vietnamese food.

Lots of veggie options, I had the Early Sun (vegetarian bao bun with coconut spinach cream) and the Mountain Sunrise (wok-fried baby corn and seasonal vegetables served with jasmine rice). The service was brilliant. I would go back!
