I fell in love with this place. The entrance is free. It’s peaceful spot in the middle of the city . You can watch the animals, read your book. There is a museum and other attractions. Great to educate your kids about agriculture. I’ll come back for sure!

A nice farm with a market, good for a walk for adults when the weather is nice. Blue and clear sky, feel the nature.
Kids would like there, cute animals, riding horses, and some amusements.

Went there on a weekday evening when the place was closed around 6:30 pm. Still was able to take a walk around the green fields and relax a bit under the trees. Great place to spend some time in nature. Also good if you want to take your kids for some animal watching when it’s open

A nice farm in the middle of Berlin, feeling like you visit a vilage. And we can see a lot of animals there (cows, lambs, ducks, chicken horses).
We can see how farmer take care the vegetables there, it's interesting place to visit with family. It's free to visit the farm but you have to pay to get into museum.

You can normally walk through the farm and museum grounds for free. It's a decent and quaint atmosphere with a cafe, seating, and short trails. The Domäne Dahlem held a Fall festival last weekend, which required a ticket/entry fee. It was quite busy and still nice, although the museums and exhibitions each cost an additional entry charge of a few Euro. It's a nice little farm in Berlin - I recommend.

Very nice restaurant and kind staff. We arrived around 9:30pm, kitchen was already closed, but you can still order a pizza. Pizza was GREAT! IN 10-15 minutes on the table, tastes excellent, price on average 12€. Not a lot of tables inside, but plenty outside, really nice garden. I would go there again for sure.

The beer, the flowers, the food, everything fresh and tasting fantastic.
The staff was specially great given the amount of people and chaos, helpful and patient.
The toilet was impeccable, almost looked like a small church.

Great food and drinks. In the summer it's great outdoors as there is a playground. The normal menu has a lot of options and I've never been disappointed. Then they also have seasonal options as well which were all great. Highly recommend

Positive rating for nostalgic memories from college times and friendly service, even though the food itself might not be worth it's money. I got a chicken salad that I couldn't really enjoy due to a lot of wasps that followed us around, even after switching tables. Will return sooner or later, but again, more for memories and not for the food itself.

Great tasty classic German restaurant with a nice interior. All the classics are here and the staff is kind and friendly as well which I’d you know berlin service staff this is a rare treat! Enjoy!

Surprising find. Friendly service. Very down to earth German "Kneipe" but nice tablecloths, super soups and hope to come back for good sounding/looking food and beergarden in summer
Update: came back but food was a bit disappointing. Rindsroulade (a classic) at 28€ had soggy cabbage & potatoes, with hard meat (clue: added knife) but sauce was great. Apple cake looked better than it tasted. Beers were so-so

To be honest I expected better. There were dirty napkins and pieces of food on the floor near our table from previous guests. I ordered Liver and onions with mashed potatoes and I was impressed with the quality of it but there simply wasn't enough of it. I therefore ordered a second meal of Chicken Curry with Rice and to tell the truth I wish I hadn't. It was basic and could have came straight out of the microwave. The decor is dated and the menu is overpriced. 3 Stars is being a little generous on my behalf but I will visit again in the hope that this experience was a one off.

I had dinner at the beer garden section of the Alter Krug and I had a great time. I ordered Schnitzel, nothing special, but it was good. I would recommend to come here for the cosy atmosphere in the summer time. The cuisine of the restaurant is mostly German, but this week's menu had BBQ burgers also, so make sure to check their website before your visit.

These burgers were so good! The fries and drinks were greate. In this place there is just place for a few people inside we where lucky there was place for the 4 of us.

Excellent burgers and friendly staff. Every time, without fail. I'm a regular. I'll try different burgers and extend the review with my opinion on them.
Burger: I usually go for this. A great, juicy patty with some salad and a lightly toasted bun. The meat is really the star of the show, it's well a balanced burger.
Chilly-cheese burger: burger with cheddar cheese and jalapenos. The cheese does not make a big difference in my opinion, the jalapenos on the other hand make it slightly hot. It's a great burger.
Goat-burger: burger with goat cheese and almonds. The goat cheese is creamy and tastes great, the almonds are crunchy and caramelized. I wasn't the fan of the pockets of sweetness added by the almonds, although it is certainly interesting. The cheese had a pleasant taste, but I felt like the extra flavour is fighting with the patty. It's interesting, but the regular burger is still my go-to.

Delicious hamburguer! I was visiting this place For the first time and the girl on the counter was kind enough to pick For me... It was amazing! She recomended a goat cheese hamburguer with caramelize almonds, rugula, red onions, pickles and side potatoes + the house tea
Definetly go back and try another one🧡🧡

It was a good burger 🍔
I think a bit to expensive 17 euros for a burger fries and drink
But good atmosphere
Aurelio Cuervo - 10 months ago
Very pricey for what it really is, we payed almost 40€ for 2 burgers with fries and 2 drinks (which can be justified if the product is really good). I had the Californian burger and it was very dry and simple, it had a very hard avocado inside and the patty was somehow broken inside the burger.
Sauces were acceptable and there was nothing that really stood out. A disappointing experience. Staff were very nice and the place itself very comfortable and cozy.

I come here everyday for daily dose of cappuccino and my favorite homemade butter cookies with jam before uni classes. Though the place is very crowded, it doesn’t make it worse, and you still can find a place to sit. I enjoy sitting on terrace which is very beautiful especially in autumn.
The staff is extremely friendly and understanding, even though at first I struggled with my German.
Sometimes you have to be a bit patient and wait for your order, but I think it’s understandable when there are so many visitors.

It's a really buzzing cafe. And generally it's quite quick service.
I just couldn't stay long since the teenagers keep smoking multiple cigarettes, at their crowded and loud table. Other than that, it's a good place to just stop for a coffee or pastry.
It could just be such a fabulous place, but you have to order at the till, and it usually takes quite a while, since they also have a coffee window. So you better bring time and maybe get a table outside.
I go here regularly because I like the coffee and my daughter eats the tomato soup or cold pasta snack they have. Bagels are also quite nice and in terms of hearty food, that's about it. Of course you can get pastries and cakes here as well, as well as ice cream.
For an hour stay, reading, or a quick catch up with friends, it's quite good. Packed on weekends.
I wished they would extend their menu to salads and do table service.
I can appreciate the students or owners young adults working there is a good experience and they are definitely polite, but when it's busy, they struggle.
Do go for a coffee, it's good.

A great Cafe, with freandy staff, nice location near to FU, and descent coffee. And the best cappuccino in Dahlem; triple shot is also an option!
The pastries are always fresh, specifically the croissants and cookies with marmalade!

I truly enjoyed my business lunch at this Italian restaurant. Staff are very friendly and efficient without having to ask several things.
Grilled sea bream was very delicious. Antipasti for 2 people came in a huge portion which was more than enough for 3 people.
Would surely come back again

Nice garden, but food was pretty average (avoid the lasagna) and the service grumpy... We were a large group, which I know is not easy to serve (people talking, not listening when orders come out etc), but the up side is you are getting a big boost to income, but instead we didn't feel all that welcome. Maybe in a smaller group the service is more friendly?

Domain Dahlem has this wonderful country inn in the middle of a kind of farm. Very nicely located and great food. It's all local and a lot of vegetarian/vegan. We had Hungarian lecho and salads. Everything was lovely and local, so all the better. It was all self-service and the food wasn't particularly well presented, unfortunately, but that shouldn't stop me from giving it 5 stars. The vegan ice cream as a dessert next door was also very wonderful with very nice staff :) Greetings.
Highly recommended :) The exhibition next door is also interactive and worth a visit.

I had the pleasure of being the first breakfast guests at the country inn on the Dahlem domain with the family and was thrilled by the experience. Despite its urban location, the inn is located in a beautiful rural setting and offers wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. The atmosphere in the inn is very cozy and inviting, and I immediately felt at home.
I was particularly impressed by the quality of the regional products served in the country inn. The food was fresh and tasty. It's obvious that the inn places a lot of emphasis on using local and seasonal products, which I really appreciate.
I was also impressed by the variety of the menu, which had something to suit every taste. The staff was very attentive and friendly and ensured that our stay at the inn was unforgettable.
Payment by card is possible and prices are very fair.
All in all, I can warmly recommend the country inn on the Dahlem domain. If you are looking for a cozy and authentic restaurant with local products, then this is the place for you. The relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food make this inn a real gem.
I'm already looking forward to summer!

You could make so much of it, but nothing is organized, the tables and benches are dirty, there are dirty dishes everywhere, the cappuccino is carelessly slammed onto the counter without a saucer, no structure, no hand to organize anything and certainly no feeling for it Ambiance that the domain offers. There is a clientele here that likes to sit and eat comfortably and is willing to pay for it. But that won't happen soon given the train station bar atmosphere and cafeteria level.

I finally had the chance to try this little Imbiss, and I'll not do it again. The soup was basically a bowl mit hot water, some oil, floating pieces of tofu and overcooked rice noodles. I can do it better myself.

Was in the area early on a very sunny Sunday morning and had a lovely Earl Grey tea and pecan croissant. Staff are very friendly and helpful, though service is a little slow considering how many staff were on duty. This is the ideal place to have a cuppa and cake with options for sitting outside or inside, and a it was lovely to sit and read here for a while on a sunny Sunday morning. It seems to be very busy and well supported by the locals. Will visit again when in the area and would highly recommend to others.

It's a good place for a pocket-friendly decent portion of meals.
As you get most of the plates a bit cheaper than in other Asian places, don't expect high quality. The portion is good, but taste-wise it's just the same as street food. And they are very quick to deliver your orders.
