Loved the Christmas market with curated stalls with a focus on handmade, local and/or organic products. A very nice small selection of foods, I v much enjoyed the Bio-Bratwurst. My faves are the artisan food producers. The farm shop is also open. Plus, the museums are open too and they’re included in the ticket price. Great fun!

A lovely farm! The culinarium was especially fun and interactive and full of interesting facts and exhibits! I could spend hours reading the books there too! It's a day well spent at this historic farm! Such places are the need of the hour ♥️

I fell in love with this place. The entrance is free. It’s peaceful spot in the middle of the city . You can watch the animals, read your book. There is a museum and other attractions. Great to educate your kids about agriculture. I’ll come back for sure!

I use to go there since my grandchildren were very young. It was the first time I visit it before Christmas 🎄 The Christmas market was full but not too much. We enjoyed anyway

We went on a Monday, it seemed that all the extra facilities were closed (restaurant, beer garden, museum, etc) which was a little disappointing as I was looking forward to a beer. The farms walk is easy and good for little kids as they get to see some of the animals (chickens, horses, sheep, goats and cows). It was a nice day and relaxing. It is a little tame and I think would be disappointing for anyone who came far for the visit, at least when the value-added services are closed.

Very nice place. Old German atmosphere. It was full and very loud . One could hardly hear each other. The food was great ! Tasty, well cooked and large portions. Service was friendly and efficient.

I got vienna schnitzel and a kostriser dark beer. Little pricey but it worths. It was really delicious especially the anchovy goes very well with schnitzel. Beer was perfect

This was possibly the best experience I have had dinning during my Berlin trip. We had a special needs woman with us and the staff was very accommodating by setting up our table for 14 people early, so we could move out of the sun. The Schnitzel Master Brewer was very delicious. The best part is the fond memories Luise has left. My friends and their German Family are all in their late 70's and earl 80's, this meal was the last time the 9 cousins all sat together, and this was the last trip my friends will make to Europe. They say no one notices when everything goes right but if one thing goes wrong it leaves a bad impression. Well, looking back at the experience everyone enjoyed the food, the company and the service. Plus, we sat on the patio which gave us a front row seat to a very small rainstorm that had adults and kids alike moving for shelter in laughter. I highly recommend this dining experience.

We were with kid, it was nice that they have Spielplatz. Atmosphere was great, I also liked beer, food was normal not so good not so bad. I did not like service actually.

Food is average,, 3 stars is already too much for it. Basically boiled potatoes, boiled Spargel, Rührei , and hollandaise sauce for 26€ . No creativity whatsoever. Service is good and fast. Problem with card payment because their system was too slow. Wi-Fi didn't work either, therefore 4 stars. The atmosphere looks good. 4 stars for that. Overall 4 stars

Surprising find. Friendly service. Very down to earth German "Kneipe" but nice tablecloths, super soups and hope to come back for good sounding/looking food and beergarden in summer Update: came back but food was a bit disappointing. Rindsroulade (a classic) at 28€ had soggy cabbage & potatoes, with hard meat (clue: added knife) but sauce was great. Apple cake looked better than it tasted. Beers were so-so

I ordered the Wiener Schnitzel but apparently the cook lost his hammer because what i got had not been pounded thin but was a thick piece of meat. I was too engaged in conversation to say anything but really you'd think the waitress would have said something.

I had dinner at the beer garden section of the Alter Krug and I had a great time. I ordered Schnitzel, nothing special, but it was good. I would recommend to come here for the cosy atmosphere in the summer time. The cuisine of the restaurant is mostly German, but this week's menu had BBQ burgers also, so make sure to check their website before your visit.

Excellent burgers and friendly staff. Every time, without fail. I'm a regular. I'll try different burgers and extend the review with my opinion on them. Burger: I usually go for this. A great, juicy patty with some salad and a lightly toasted bun. The meat is really the star of the show, it's well a balanced burger. Chilly-cheese burger: burger with cheddar cheese and jalapenos. The cheese does not make a big difference in my opinion, the jalapenos on the other hand make it slightly hot. It's a great burger. Goat-burger: burger with goat cheese and almonds. The goat cheese is creamy and tastes great, the almonds are crunchy and caramelized. I wasn't the fan of the pockets of sweetness added by the almonds, although it is certainly interesting. The cheese had a pleasant taste, but I felt like the extra flavour is fighting with the patty. It's interesting, but the regular burger is still my go-to.

I come here everyday for daily dose of cappuccino and my favorite homemade butter cookies with jam before uni classes. Though the place is very crowded, it doesn’t make it worse, and you still can find a place to sit. I enjoy sitting on terrace which is very beautiful especially in autumn. The staff is extremely friendly and understanding, even though at first I struggled with my German. Sometimes you have to be a bit patient and wait for your order, but I think it’s understandable when there are so many visitors.

A great Cafe, with freandy staff, nice location near to FU, and descent coffee. And the best cappuccino in Dahlem; triple shot is also an option! The pastries are always fresh, specifically the croissants and cookies with marmalade!

I truly enjoyed my business lunch at this Italian restaurant. Staff are very friendly and efficient without having to ask several things. Grilled sea bream was very delicious. Antipasti for 2 people came in a huge portion which was more than enough for 3 people. Would surely come back again

I had the pleasure of being the first breakfast guests at the country inn on the Dahlem estate with my family, and I was thrilled with the experience. Despite its urban location, the inn is located in a beautiful rural setting and offers magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. The atmosphere in the inn is very cozy and inviting, and I immediately felt at home. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the regional products served at the country inn. Despite visiting early on a Sunday in October at 10 a.m., no reservation was necessary. The country inn is self-service and is characterized by a large, light-flooded guest room. As a child-friendly place, it is quite lively at times. The food is good, but unfortunately the coffee specialties aren't really hot. Tip: it's better to order a large glass of tea for €2.80. There's more in it and it's hot.

I finally had the chance to try this little Imbiss, and I'll not do it again. The soup was basically a bowl mit hot water, some oil, floating pieces of tofu and overcooked rice noodles. I can do it better myself.

Was in the area early on a very sunny Sunday morning and had a lovely Earl Grey tea and pecan croissant. Staff are very friendly and helpful, though service is a little slow considering how many staff were on duty. This is the ideal place to have a cuppa and cake with options for sitting outside or inside, and a it was lovely to sit and read here for a while on a sunny Sunday morning. It seems to be very busy and well supported by the locals. Will visit again when in the area and would highly recommend to others.

Amazing asian food! My favorite dish is "A2" - crispy chicken with salad, rice and mango curry sauce. Highly recommended for the students of the Free University of Berlin and everyone else.

Have been coming here for years, and quite like it! Some dishes don’t taste that good, especially chinapfanne is underwhelming most others have been nice and usually food comes fast.
