I visited this place on a quiet day, so I couldn't fully experience the lively atmosphere it might have when crowded. The menu is short but offers typical and tasty German food. I recommend trying it on a busier day to get a better feel of the place.

**MOST POWERFUL TOILET FLUSH - DO NOT MISS**
Must see Berlin attraction. Flush roared louder than a Ferrari V12 engine, with water cascades like a German Niagra falls. Left me with significant hearing damage, but *definitely* worth the pain. 5/5 stars, would recommend.

Not there for the food but the beer is out of this world. Had 7 glasses and amazing enough that I’m able to drink so much in less than 2 hours. Had flat bread and was good too

Unfortunately the food options are limited and from the limited options some where not even available. Long line for drinks.
The place and the whole setting is really nice.

It's one of the best indian restaurants in Berlin, I would say. They serve authentic mutton and chicken dishes with real indian Spiciness. Definitely recommended!!!!
I ordered mutton rogan josh and garlic naan(it had lots of garlic 😍), It completely satisfied my taste buds! The staff was so polite during the service.

A magical experience with excellent service and amazing food in Meena Kumari.
I would highly recommend the Channa Masala,Bindi Masala as it is one of the best in Berlin. The food is very authentic and a lot of care if given for the presentation.

Really love this place. One of the best authentic Indian restaurants in Berlin. My go to for take-away, but dining in, as I did tonight, was even better. Service was excellent, food was exquisite. 10/10 would come again.

Nice vibe and atmosphere, music is decent and location is great.
The drinks are strong, but don’t taste that good and we had to wait about 30 minutes to get our drinks and it wasn’t that busy.

Funky atmosphere, loads of laptops open, they have a smoking room (very surprising). Go for the vibes, coffee is fine, nothing special.

We had a few drinks during our stay in Berlin. Super friendly staff, good music and great vibes.
Magnus Trøften Hagen - a month ago
I visited only as bar at night and the vibe is really cool with good music and an eclectic and interesting decoration, same as the public that goes there.
I leave a 3 starts review because it's evident the bar is understaffed. Only 3 servers and 1 bartender for probably 100 people at peak hour on a Friday. That's just non-sense as you had to wait ridiculously long times to order, to get your drinks and then to pay. You could see how the staff (who also happen to be very very young) were completely exhausted by midnight :(
It felt to me and my friends as a bit of worker's exploitation, taking advantage of teenagers or students to do really hard work.
Prices are not necessarily cheap, so the owner/manager could definitely afford to put 1-2 people on busy nights and not being so greedy.
Daniela Sanhueza - a month ago
Lovely bar with a great atmosphere. People working there can range from unfriendly to fairly friendly depending on the day, but some of them definitely suffer from the "Berlin attitude" of acting as if they are better than you, and will be outright rude if you dare to order in English.
The place itself is still great though if you can overlook the moody staff, and has a DJ playing most nights. Recommended!

A bit biased about my experience: loved the starters, the duck and the meat but didn’t like french fries a homemade mayo as much. Nice vibrant atmosphere and good service in general.
Noise level was way above average, we could hardly have a conversation and it felt like you’re surrounded by a cloud of voices coming from neighbor tables. This was the first time I ever had a problem with it since I’m not very sensitive. Might come back and just pick a table in the front room next time

Best french restaurant in Berlin! The food is very delicious and authentically french as well. Everyone who works there is either french or at least speaks the language. I highly recommend the entrecôte steak that is served with a generous portion of fries (which are homemade style and not the frozen type!) and a side salad. I tried both the pepper sauce and the blue cheese sauce, I would definitely recommend the second! The mussels are also served with fries, and they are super good as well. Even their house wine is good and very cheap!
The price to value ratio is great. The service is amazing: very fast service and super friendly.
Overall: highly recommended. Make sure to reserve a table in advance.

Good food and great wine list - all well priced. Service was good and the seating is comfortable.
Asked for a steak cooked medium and specified "no red". We were told they refuse to cook the tenderloin in that manner and we would have to order the entrecote instead. Steak arrived with a deep red center and had to be sent back.

Amazing evening last night. The food was delicious, the team are the most lovely people in the world. They celebrated the last day of my job so generously with my friend and I!
Special shout-out to the razor clams and the baked prawn special and the desserts. Oh my god heaven.

What else is there to add?
This place is always a treasure to the neighborhood.
If it’s either celebrating a special occasion, or satisfying the hunger before it’s time for a drink, I can always recommend this place.
Even if you come by yourself, the team is more than welcoming!
You don’t have to be a wine experience to enjoy their wide selection. They are happy to consult and offer perfect matching wines; wether traditional or natural.
Although known for the traditional steak frites, don’t be afraid to try out the new dishes in the changing menu.
DO NOT MISS OUT ON THE FRIES!
Also the mussels!
And to end…a cognac? A calvados?

Visited this Korean BBQ Restaurant and had an amazing experience! The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting.
The meat was fresh and flavorful, and the DIY grilling at the table added to the fun. They had a great variety of sides and sauces to complement the meats. Would recommend.

The food was great, good option for diversity, the waitress was nice and the price is reasonable, would give this place 5 stars but it ended on a really bad note, when we finished our meal I drank the last of the water I had left and to my unpleasant surprise there was a piece of glass at the bottom of the cup, when we confronted the waitress about it she was very sorry and went to speak with the manager but instead of offering a compensation the manager was simple sorry and said she doesn't know how this happen, we instead that this is not alright and could of ended very badly if the glass piece was swallowed and the response was an offer of a soujo shot or a soft drink, we did not want to have another drink from a place that had a glass in their water and had to continue insisting on a compensation until they gave in and offered to take off a small amount of the price we needed to pay for the meal, personally I was still not happy with that but arguing with the manager wasn't appealing to me, especially after we had to insist on any kind of actual compensation.
Very sad and disappointed that this is how the evening ended, very poor handling of the manager with the situation, especially considering how dangerous it was.
Bottom line you can eat here but be careful of what your drinking or don't drink here at all :(

On Saturday, the young man who served us was extremely charismatic and good-looking, which made our experience very unforgettable. The dinner was pleasant, but it did not blow anyone away, and it was served rather fast. However, the flavor of the food was significantly enhanced by the presence of this charming young man. It is the responsibility of the boss to offer him a raise. In addition, we ordered beverages and the main course. The kimchi pancake turned out to be quite tasty. The selection was limited, which makes it ideal for folks who have no prior exposure with Korean culture as it will not be too overwhelming for them. Would give a score of 4, but because we were served by this charming waiter, we awarded a score of 5.

went for a quick dinner and for that it works well The stew was spicy and hot, enough rice and sidedishes. Very relaxed and laid back atmosphere during my visit. I think the owner recently changed so they were still getting used to serving and the cash machine didnt work while I was there. Recommend the Kimchi stew!

They have a varied selection of items that make it more likely for everyone to find something that they will enjoy here. The food was good, and the portions were sufficient as well.
Service was friendly.
The only thing is that I am not a big fan of the interior or atmosphere of this place. They would benefit from changing up the indoor tables and chairs (which were not so comfortable). But obviously, that’s just a matter of personal preference.

Great little restaurant serving traditional East German DDR food. Everything was delicious, hearty and tasty! We had the soups, beef roulade, currywurst and the goulash.
Initial greeting and showing to tables seem a bit curt but very friendly and great service once seated!

I am a recurrent customer, the restaurant is very traditional German food. They have a good variety of plates, good taste but not something exceptional. The service is very good, not long waiting. Last time we were there we noticed the quality was reduce, portions were reduce, the Veal Schnitzel was very small. All the other plates too. I hope this was a one time thing, because a like to go there eating.

Lovely little German spot on the corner about a two minute walk from the U2 Eberswalder Straße stop. Was craving some schnitzel so we stopped in here and got a Schweineschnitzel and a Kapernklopse. The schnitzel was wonderful and the Klopse was delicious, although maybe a bit too sweet for a full meal. Both had potatoes which were cooked to perfection. I also got a Schusterjungen Pils and man oh man it went down easy. Fantastic beer vom Fass! The service was super friendly and since they didn't have a table without a reservation (Friday night), we took two spots at the bar. Typical German atmosphere and a great price for the quality! Definitely on the list to make a return visit or several.

Great restaurant/ pub in Berlin serving traditional German food and beer , the waiting staff are friendly and service is quick and efficient in a typical German manner. Well worth a visit .

I'm of German descent and was looking for a restaurant that would serve meals like my grandmother used to make. This is that place. I had the beef rouladin with dumping and red cabbage. Everything was amazing. On the beef was tender sliced thin and wrapped around a center of cabbage onions and something else I couldn't identify but the tasted wonderful. The noodles were light and fluffy and went perfectly with a gravy. The red cabbage was lightly seasoned with clove and again something else that I couldn't identify but was fantastic. I also had an order of the cauliflower soup and that was amazing as well. Top it all off with the house beer and it was a well-priced and fantastic meal.

I went out for a chilled meal for my birthday and fancied something sweet. On our walk home we stumbled across this place. We asked if we could come in for dessert only. I’m so bloody glad we did, because oh my days…we paid 20 euros for the 2 person dessert sharing plate. God almighty was it delicious. It comes with a crème brûlée (that is burnt at the table), a chocolate mousse, biscuit mousse (one each) on a cherry compote. The best dessert in Berlin so far for me. I’m a Brit with a deadly sweet tooth 🦷! I will be baaaaack!

Nice service, great wine and dessert. the steak I ordered was unfortunately not good, quite chewy (I got the steak special they were offering, with a pepper sauce), and sinewy. It could've been a one-off / random accident, so I would come back again and try something different.

+: nice service, good wine and starters were nice, i recommend the bone marrow
+: fried were above average
+: portion sizes
-: honestly not that good of a steak, needs a better sear and was not medium rare but might have been a one-off fluke so i‘ll definitely have to give it another chance
-: the sauces were unfortunately bad! peppersauce was just bitter and bernaise flavorless
-: you‘ll smell like grease after sitting in the restaurant

Great Sushi Bar! Good location next to a tram and a subway stations. There are a lot of tables, low and high - plenty of room. The variety of drinks is huge, aswell as the food choices, which are plenty. Some sushi sorts are pretty exotic and may seem as not very authentic. Still, they all taste great!
Have been there for a private event with ~100 people.

Zaza employs two Asian chefs, one Chinese, the other Thai, who deliver up absolutely delectable, authentic meals using the freshest ingredients. We focused in on their specialties: homemade dumplings and noodle dishes. The meals came beautifully laid out. Having lived for years in Asia, we can attest to the outstanding flavors and preparation. Service is personally overseen by the owners. Zaza's atmosphere is sleek, modern bistro style, with contemporary tasteful furniture and subdued lighting. You can also sit at a small table on the sidewalk. Prices are in line with the competition. Give Zaza a try. You won't be disappointed!
