That is my third beer garden in Berlin, and I believe it is the best one. First of all, it is big yet cozy. There are plenty of shaded areas for lunch during the summer. Secondly, it is located not in a park but in the city center. The place is really nice, and the beer is extremely good. The service is fast and friendly. You can also enjoy traditional bratwurst along with sauerkraut and chicken with potatoes. The most unexpected delight is the wonderful pretzel. I have never had a better pretzel. I would love to come back here in the evening; I bet the atmosphere is magical.

a proper beer garden atmosphere, lots of people and a nice shade. Unfortunately their Helles is very thin in taste. I can understand that this beer style is more a Bavarian thingy, but still I hoped for something more well crafted.

Prater Beer Garden is a large and expansive beer garden in East Berlin. There are tons of tables and plenty of mature trees for shade. They have several beers available which are all great. Food and Bavarian Pretzels are also available. The food and beer are both great. Prater is good spot to relax and enjoy the city.

Visited this place on Monday afternoon. I knew it will be empty but to my surprise there were few people having the beer in quiet environment, enjoying themselves and having nice conversations. We asked the people working there and they said Mondays are like this. But I really like the beer. Would love to go here over weekend to see the louder ambiance.

It's difficult to find good Indian/Pakistani curry in Berlin (the bland German palate does not allow for much flavour or spice) so I'm pleased to have found this place!
Full flavour, delicate combination of spices and not at all greasy ✨
The service felt considered and careful and the space is comfortable.
The only reason I give 4 stars for the food is because the starter was more like onion rings than an onion bhaji, but all things considered, I'm happy to go back and try other dishes :)

Had a main (which included rice!) cheese naan and water- it was reasonably priced and fresh. However we were not aware it was cash only until the bill came- I wish we had known sooner. Still, it was delicious. Would recommend- just come cash in hand.

I was visited with my friend i experienced there delicious dish butter chicken and mango lasi .everything was amazing and cool.

Good service, reasonable price.
Taste is definitely made for Germans, not spicy enough. To my taste, it was kind of watered down.
18€/person for two mains and 2 mango lassis.

CLEAN place, clean toilet. Not very smelly inside which is very important.
Good portions, amazing food and I think reasonable prices! The staff really likes to check on you and values feedback, I really liked the hospitality.

I really like this place. The vibe is nice, pleasant, with this vintage and casual look. You can have coffee if you want, tea, beer, wine, cocktails, you name it! As for food, I once had a cake/pie and it was good. Service was also nice, I feel they are a bit understaffed sometimes (not a criticism, just an observation), nevertheless, everyone from the staff is nice and efficient. Perfect place to meet a friend, friends, date, or just have a date with yourself. Google says it accepts cards, but it was cash only last time I was there.

The best place I Found like India home here in Germany. Rich culture through the food. Could've been a wee bit less expensive but for me it's worth evey byte

The place has a nice vibe, staff are always friendly but overloaded, most of the times you have to wait for at least 15min for your drinks to come but sometimes the waiters do reward you with an extra luft shot 🥃

Such a lovely cozy place!
I love that cocktails in the pictures with vanilla absolute. So five stars unconditionally!!Lol
(But there is actually a certain bartender in the picture makes really really good cocktails. So If you see the bartender, try a cocktail! You won’t regret. Definitely!:-D )

Beautiful café&bar with a good range of drinks. We found the majority of staff to be extremely kind and helpful but I must agree with other comments that service is wonky. The atmosphere was great and I’d definitely return for a cocktail when I’m next in Berlin !

Limited choice in menu but they are of great quality and quantity. French frites is top - it’s not industrial style but authentic one. The broccoli soup was a little salty for me. But other dishes compensated :-)

Dined here alone tonight, got the 300g entrecote steak frites, which was amazing, but the highlight of dinner was most definitely the dessert; get the chocolate lava cake, out of this world. Service was also impeccable, would definitely come back here.

Lovely restaurant. We had the escargot, rabbit skewers, duck and steak and each plate was delicious. Despite being pretty full, we ordered the creme brûlée for dessert which finished the meal perfectly. The staff were friendly and attentive with offers to help translate the menu, should we need.

I always come here with my French friends when we want a good meal, good wine, and a catch-up. The quality of food is incredible, the staff are friendly, and we always have an amazing night.
It's a small menu, but perfectly cooked.
The fries are the best in Berlin

Food was extraordinary good, everyone in the family loved it.
Female waiter was great and super attentive, the other waiter could’ve been a bit more so e.g. when we asked for ketchup and an extra drink when we already had food on the table. Dont need ketchup when the food is eaten x)
Other than that everything super lovely! Thank you!

Friendly staff and great service, we had a really good experience trying Korean BBQ in Berlin. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the meal very much.

Visited this Korean BBQ Restaurant and had an amazing experience! The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting.
The meat was fresh and flavorful, and the DIY grilling at the table added to the fun. They had a great variety of sides and sauces to complement the meats. Would recommend.

On Saturday, the young man who served us was extremely charismatic and good-looking, which made our experience very unforgettable. The dinner was pleasant, but it did not blow anyone away, and it was served rather fast. However, the flavor of the food was significantly enhanced by the presence of this charming young man. It is the responsibility of the boss to offer him a raise. In addition, we ordered beverages and the main course. The kimchi pancake turned out to be quite tasty. The selection was limited, which makes it ideal for folks who have no prior exposure with Korean culture as it will not be too overwhelming for them. Would give a score of 4, but because we were served by this charming waiter, we awarded a score of 5.

I ordered Mandu, Samgyoebsal, Kimchi jigae, and Bibimbab. They are so good and taste the same as in Seoul! 😍 I highly recommend Sangyoebsal and Bibimbab. The staff is also very kind and high standard of hospitality. This would be my first favorite Korean restaurant in Berlin. Don’t forget to order some Soju or Makgeolli to stay in the vibe.

I asked the food without mushrooms, came with, ask to remove and still found one, I have allergy, good that I saw it
We also had a NeoTaste ticket but expired because we stayed long and the person in the cashier was not very flexible and a bit rude

The creamy peanut curry with crispy duck is and was just out of this world, not many restaurants in Germany do creamy curries it's always watery.... the service is always friendly and fast... always coming back

Noodle was a disappointment and they put too much sugar to everything. I usually like hot and sweet soups but we could not eat this one because it was too sweet

Ordered the smoked pork loin to share and it was well seasoned and soft with a good bite to it. Beer was good too and went well with the pork loin. Classic rustic design in the restaurant was welcoming and interesting. Service was friendly and spoke good English; tended to us promptly despite there being many other customers.

Very welcoming and friendly lady greeted us the first time we came. She recommended us the goulash and wow - it really was amazing.
We also tried the Apple Strudel, very very tasty.
We went for a second time and ordered a schnitzel this time. Also very tasty, but I think schnitzel is same everywhere in Germany more or less. I’d definitely recommend the goulash! Prices are very reasonable for the food you get. Make sure to reserve a table.

Very traditional german restaurant, from exterior, interior, the uniform the server wears, to the food, exactly what we’re looking for. Just like the decor and the atmosphere, there is nothing pretentious about the food, it tastes homemade, comforting and delicious. 5 out of 5. Cash only.
vennisa huang - 6 months ago
A nice restaurant serving authentic German food. The building has existed since the 1920's and has some information about it in the menu folder. I had pork schnitzel served with creamy mushrooms and potato with bacon and onion in it. The portion size is great,I kept uncovering more potatoes when I moved the schnitzel!
The restaurant is cash only,so people need to remember to take some with them.

Although we found the portions a bit on the smaller side, the flavour was phenomenal!
Absolutely delicious schnitzel and gnocchi.
The beetroot gnocchi was filled with a cream cheese, something I would definitely go back for.
Service is so friendly and nice, we were really happy with that too.
I would consider this one of the best veal schnitzels in berlin.

So good. Our family of four all agreed that this was our favorite meal of our entire time in Berlin. Be sure to order the beer they brew. We got the Gold and Bronze and both were awesome. The lamb was amazing. The risotto was sooo good. Definitely recommend.

Lorbeer is a cozy and stylish restaurant with a warm atmosphere and truly delicious food. You can taste the quality in every bite! fresh ingredients and thoughtful preparation. The service is friendly and personal, thanks to the passion my friend puts into every detail. Definitely worth a visit!

This is not the restaurant it used to be. The food was appalling. No seasoning and flavour, the pasta was cooked so carelessly that much of it stuck together and didn't cook properly, The cocktails were way too sweet and the wine was chilled so cold it didn't taste like anything. A disappointing experience and really pricey as well.

Great Sushi Bar! Good location next to a tram and a subway stations. There are a lot of tables, low and high - plenty of room. The variety of drinks is huge, aswell as the food choices, which are plenty. Some sushi sorts are pretty exotic and may seem as not very authentic. Still, they all taste great!
Have been there for a private event with ~100 people.
