A great experience with vegetarian high quality fine dining. A unique location sets the mood and the service is great, friendly and open. Surprisingly unpretentious. The food was great with lots of care for detail. My favorite was probably the asparagus soup that has such a depth of asparagus flavour in its broth. The non-alcoholic pairing was really nice overall, some where great and others were interesting. The dessert was a bit of a disappointment, it was unbalanced with to much sharp rhubarb and not enough sweetness to balance it with. The other components was great but not enough of it. Overall a great experience with great food, but not quite enough for 5 stars.

It was wonderful. The staff is incredibly nice and the atmosphere is really cool. A bit hard to find but once you are there everything goes smooth and perfect. We will come back for sure for our 5 years anniversary :-)

(Short version—run, don’t walk, to Cookies Cream) Being a vegetarian, I usually stay away from tasting menus because they are almost never worth it (at least for non-plant-based restaurants). I’d been to one highly-rated vegan restaurant in the US and the tasting menu pretty good, but gimmicky. I don’t regret going, but I wouldn’t go again (given the cost). I’d heard great things about Cookies Cream, so when I went to Berlin for work I had to check it out. OH MY GOODNESS!! WOW WOW WOW. I have been raving about it ever since I got home. It was all DELICIOUS and some of the dishes were downright mind-blowing. (Whatever that egg thing with the seafood caviar was sumptuous—and that was just one of the delicious things!) The service was wonderful. In addition to being great in the traditional sense, my waiter heard that I was trying to plan my one day for sightseeing and gave me suggestions I had not heard of. I did them the next day and was so happy I didn’t just do the “greatest hits” of Berlin. I never have had a desire to be wealthy, but eating here made me want to be. I could definitely splurge on this several times a year (or every other month?), but if I were wealthy I would eat here every day!!

We absolutely loved our 7 courses menu with pairing dinning experience at Cookies Cream. It was our second time dinning here and it was phenomenal. I highly recommend it to anyone living or traveling to Berlin looking for a unique, cozy atmosphere with delicious vegetarian delights. The best food experience I’ve ever had, and I’m a very picky person. A special thank you to Armen, whose warmth and sincerity added so much to the evening. Fine dining can sometimes feel a little stiff or intimidating, but he was genuinely approachable and lovely. My grandpa is Armenian, so that ended up being a nice coincidence as well. By the end of the meal, we felt completely blissful. There was a sense of lightness that is hard to describe. I just wanted to giggle and dance. I don’t think I could really grasp words anymore. 😂 The food genuinely had that effect on us. And as a vegetarian, I left feeling spoiled, which is not something I get to say very often.

We had dinner here as part of a large group celebrating a future wedding and really weren't impressed. Firstly, the service was similar to McDonald's. Just "what do you want", "here's the food", "ok". For a fancy restaurant this is not acceptable. Even for a regular restaurant this is bad service. Then, the food wasn't great either. The Caesar Salad had chicken that was still pink inside. The steak tasted like nothing. The Wiener Schnitzel was good, but Figlmuller would probably not serve it. Even worse, there's no air conditioning, so it felt like we were eating in a sauna. All of these for insane prices. €38 for a Schnitzel. €18 for a Caesar Salad. €8 for a small bier and the water was similar. €16 for a basic cocktail. If you're going to be a white tablecloth restaurant and charge crazy high prices, then the food must be amazing, the service top-notch and the atmosphere pleasant. This was definitely not the case here so I would absolutely NOT recommend this restaurant - Berlin has much much better.

If you are into schnitzel - just go there. Don't hesitate. The schnitzel is huge and super tasty and crispy. The other dishes were also really delicious

Have been here before but never wrote a review. The Schnitzel has always been excellent, and if you come for lunch you won’t need any more food afterwards. I would replace the potato salad with fried potatoes; the cranberry sauce goes perfectly with the Schnitzel. The waiters are very friendly, but the service, for a restaurant of this kind, lacked professionalism (no napkins, no butter knives, and the second beer order was forgotten). Still, I will be back next year.

Their knuckle of pork is one of the best and the portion is quite generous, it can be shared up to 3 persons. Crispy skin and tender inside. Cooked to perfection. We had a glass of Rose Prosecco and it was great. Lovely dining experience. Would recommend it definitely.

We found this place via a google search and it was such a find! Great traditional food and great prices. Beer was brilliant - the difference of a proper wooden barrel is huge! We enjoyed our first visit so much, we came back every day and worked our way through rhe menu. If you want a good honest bar/restaurant with authentic products, in a great location, run by efficient and polite staff then this is for you. Recommend - The knuckle is huge, the 6 sausages with mash is so tasty and the strudel is really Blimin good.

Great place to enjoy traditional German food. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The 1L beer is pretty unique and adds to the experience. The food was very good and came out very fast. The terrace is calm and very relaxing during the summer, with a nice breeze almost all the time. I especially enjoyed the beef goulash.

My Spouse and I enjoyed dinner this evening and we were surprised when the server added 10% gratuity to our final bill. He said that was customary. We haven’t had any other restaurants or cafés automatically add gratuity. We would understand if it had been a larger table. But it was just the two of us. We had planned on leaving a generous tip however we don’t appreciate the server, adding the tip without our permission. Otherwise, the dinner was good. Generous servings. We sat outside so a pleasant evening and very enjoyable.

Nice place to have german traditional food. Most dishes are not super expensive, you ate well for what you are paying. We went with friends and every dish was delicious. The restaurant is big and you can go there with a large group, but make a reservation first in this case.

It's a fine dine restaurant and I was initially very skeptical about the service as it could them long to come and take our order, but after that everything smoothly. Their bread was fresh and tasty. They brought our order on time and the portion sizes were good too. I ordered Gnocchi which was nice and enjoyable, but I have had better before. My wife ordered tagliolini with fresh truffle which was absolutely delicious. We also ordered a white chocolate dessert to end our meal and that was nice too.

This place is recommended in the Michelin guide and it did not disappoint. I think it was the best meal we had on our trip, and maybe one if the best meals we have had in a long time

It was one the best dinner with my husband! We had a wonderful time together in Bocca di Bacco! The staff is very friendly, helpful and always around. Our waiter Giovanni was amazing! Excellent service and attitude! The food itself is more than tasty! You really want to try as much as possible! We really had a feeling that we are in Italy!

Next to the Westin grand hotel. Nice lunch set menu. The service is friendly and attend to detail. The food is well prepared with freshness bread with different selection. Melon cold soup to open the taste buds. The cod fish is grilled and then baked with the right seasoning to reach the right tenderness. The service makes the overall experience nicely presented. With the espresso as the finale, The smile of the waitress also beautifully endorsed the Italian style of service. Well done!! 😉

I was in the area enjoying the nice weather and decided to stop by the café for a quick coffee. I had heard earlier that the place might be expensive, but in my opinion every café should be evaluated by its taste, aroma, and overall atmosphere. I ordered a coffee and a croissant, both of which I enjoyed. At the time of my visit, the place was quiet and had a pleasant vibe, which made the experience relaxing.

Everything was absolutely delicious and very filling. Even though the prices are on the higher side, the quality and portion sizes made it completely worth it. The food was fresh, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service was excellent. We left very satisfied. Highly recommended!

Hands down the best veal schnitzel I ever had! The meat was so soft inside and the outter batter was thin and flaky. The side of postatoes were extremely buttery and soft. Would definitely come back to this venue. Their coffee was well prepared too. You can see when a venue takes care of coffee, and they definitely did. Service fast and efficient, no frills. I also strongly recommend the apple strudel, which was devine. We had it with vanilla sauce that was so good, runny, vanillaey and gentle. Definite would reommend this restaurant. PS. It is a bit on the expensive side, but I believe it is worth it when visiting Berlin.

Atmosphere is very nice, the interior looks historical and their apfelstrudel is authentic. Prices are a bit high but considering the location it makes sense. If your around Unter den Linden and need a break, a visit here is recommended. Coffee and a desert here was a very nice plan during our visit in Berlin. Their coffee was tasty and they offer oat milk option too.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent food and an even better service experience. The roast pork was delicious, and the beer was great as well. What made our visit special was a friendly older gentleman with a round face with glasses who provided outstanding service. He was warm, welcoming, and much friendlier than the host at the entrance. His kindness made us feel truly welcome. The location is perfect on Unter den Linden, only a 1–2 minute walk from The Westin Berlin. Highly recommended for both visitors and locals.

Nante-Eck is a lovely German restaurant on Unter den Linden and definitely a place worth visiting. We’ve been there a couple of times and always had a great experience. The staff are very welcoming, the service is excellent, and the whole atmosphere feels warm and inviting. We tried a few traditional German and Berliner dishes, including the schnitzel and the Berliner meatball, and everything was absolutely delicious. You can really enjoy the local cuisine here. Typical Berliner restaurant with Berlin style food. The food at Nante Eck was absolutely amazing! We had the schnitzel and the Prussian kebab and the Charlotten, 3 different types of sausage. AMAZING and all were so delicious. And the beer was wonderful too, served in glass steins. Win! We were far too full for dessert, but we loved every bite. A fantastic authentic Berlin dining experience!

I went on a mission across Berlin to find a proper apple strudel. Places like Cafe Einstein came highly recommended, but their version was dry, stingy on vanilla sauce and honestly made me question popular opinion. Then I found Nante-Eck. Their apple strudel is about as close as you’ll get here to a proper Viennese one. The rest of the menu holds up too: from seasonal dishes like asparagus soup to classics like the Charlottenburger Wurstparade (sausages with mashed potatoes), everything was genuinely tasty. The beers didn’t disappoint either. Add cozy old-school decor, friendly service and reasonable prices, and you’ve got a spot that’s well worth a lunch or dinner stop.

Easy to book a couple of hours in advance. Delicious burger and really friendly happy staff. We brought our 4 year old with us and had a lovely meal. There's a kids menu and the lovely waiter brought over Haribo sweets for our son after our dinner. Very kind!

This was the best meal I had in Berlin. Our server Amir was fantastic - so personable, friendly, and honestly the bright spot of my visit here! Really made my night! The food was decent and the atmosphere was casual but also nice ( just a bit noisy due to the acoustics). I’ve attached “Before” and “After” pics of our tomahawk steak, which we finished on the hot stone! (FYI we requested the steak rare so we could cook it to our taste, so don’t be alarmed!) Meal was 180 including a bottle of wine, tomahawk ribeye and three sides

Burger was really delicious, lots of items inside and on the side. Crispy onion, carameluzed onion, bacon, herbs, cheese and sauce, also chips on the side. Portion was big enough for an adult, could not finish. The only point is with the steak we ordered, there was *no side veg, sauce, etc.* with fillet steak. No mushroom sauce, no veggies, nothing, and steak must go with sides. But it was very soft and juicy.

The meat options are great and delicious! I took the flanksteak medium-rare 350g and it was very juicy. The beer could be a bit colder. The 4 stars is because they made some mistakes eith the cooking level of the meat and prices, but I guess It's also because you are in one of the nicest areas of Berlin. The restaurant is quite cozy and the staff was very kind.

A very convenient and somewhat hidden neighborhood canteen: for two people, it cost €17 for two courses and two drinks. It's mainly frequented by local employees (the Federal Ministry is in the next building), but it's also ideal for visitors on a budget. Three main courses are available at lunchtime, and there's a small salad bar.

A canteen that only got a new operator in 2024. Unfortunately, the prices are somewhat higher than at other canteens in the area. The food preparation is also rather average. The meatballs with Balkan-style sauce were nothing more than frozen gypsy dumplings. Hardly anything is cooked fresh here. The staff changes frequently, but is usually quite friendly. The canteen is used by employees of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, but can also be accessed by anyone from outside. Ministry employees receive a small discount. Otherwise, the canteen makes a clean impression from the outside. However, I've tried several different dishes now and haven't really been impressed. Even though there are four different dishes daily, one of them is soup. My conclusion: you can eat here, but you don't have to. It's sufficient if you need a hot meal in a pinch.

I'm a bit shocked that all the applications from the previous owner, Intermezzo, have now been merged???? That's not right and it's misleading for customers! Not fair. Well, I can't agree with Mr. Gr.! I'm there regularly during my break and have to ask for smaller portions (for pasta and rice), and the prices are reasonable, like lunch specials everywhere...fish and meat dishes are 7-8 euros. Anyone can see for themselves. Some people are just not fair in their reviews...sad. It's a nice canteen with a café atmosphere...that's the impression of me and my colleagues from the company next door 😉 Google doesn't make it easy to update! Intermezzo-Berlin has been permanently closed since the end of 2023!!!! The current canteen has a different name! Maybe someone could change that.

Atmosphere is a little lacking, it's just a basic café, but the food is very good! The lunch menu is fairly priced and you get great Russian home cooked food 😊 Reservation at lunch time is recommended, especially if you're a group of 4+, the place filled up quickly. A selection of Russian cakes, such as Napoleon or Medovik, would have been the cherry on top - maybe they have some on other days?
