Just completely incredible; had the 7 course and mixed wine and non-alcoholic pairings - both were amazing. The non-alcoholics ones were insanely matched too (I was blown away). The service and information about each dish and pairing was impeccable. I had the vegan version of all, my partner had the vegetarian version. Possibly the favourite dish was the enoki (mushroom) but very hard to pick a fave from all of them. Never thought I would get to have this kind of eating experience as a vegan. Can’t recommend enough, is a fine dining experience (regarding cost to be expected), but experience is the word. I would give this 6 out of 5 stars if possible.

Absolutely loved my experience at Cookies Cream, dishes were surprising (in the best way) and full of flavours. Crazy how they can make mushroom feel meaty and expensive. The staff was also very helpful, and they make amazing cocktails. Would come back for a special occasion.

Vegetarian tasting menu and non alcoholic drinks flight for me this time.
The food was sensational and the pairings were perfection.
The service was excellent and the place had a great vibe. Fantastic team.
Get a taxi there as the door is not obvious!

We had so much fun! I highly recommend the wine pairing. I am sober and was thrilled to see that they had a full non-alcoholic wine pairing (which included many homemade NA wines). It was an absolutely beautiful and delicious dinner. The service was top notch and the atmosphere reminded me of a NY speakeasy as we arrived at the bar. The upstairs dining area was much more vibrant and festive. Everyone seemed to be smiling and enjoying themselves. All of my dinner companions were not vegan/veg but raved about the whole dining experience. Being a vegan and sharing such a lovely experience with them felt amazing. 10/10 will go again!

*5/5 Stars*
Cookies Cream exceeded all expectations! The 7-course vegetarian menu was a culinary masterpiece, with innovative dishes that delighted every sense. The wine pairing was exquisite, perfectly complementing each course.
Michel, our waiter, was phenomenal - knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. His passion for the food and wine shone through, making the experience even more special.
Returning to Cookies Cream was a thrill, and it lived up to its previous wonderful experiences. Can't wait to come back and indulge again!

Have been here before but never wrote a review. The Schnitzel has always been excellent, and if you come for lunch you won’t need any more food afterwards. I would replace the potato salad with fried potatoes; the cranberry sauce goes perfectly with the Schnitzel. The waiters are very friendly, but the service, for a restaurant of this kind, lacked professionalism (no napkins, no butter knives, and the second beer order was forgotten). Still, I will be back next year.

We made a reservation at this German restaurant for lunch. The service was okay, but our main dishes were left out initially.
The tartar and schnitzel were delicious, and the portions were generous. However, the seasonal menu of the deer was average.

Well, it's okay place, for us it was just fun to meet some 'famous' people in Germany. Otherwise it's just a huge canteen with open space, with not bad food. It's very little space between tables. Prices are okay. I took a steak argentine and veggies, steak was ok but not super, veggies was not well prepared.

Borchardt is an exceptional place to celebrate special occasions or have a date. Perfect german food, made of high-quality ingredients, in combination with sweet cocktail and freshly-made bread will gift you one of the best gastronomical experiences of your whole life. Atmosphere is quite fancy, and the food prices are higher than in ordinary places in Berlin, and it is totally justified, given the history of the place and the level of service.
And all I would say — it is definitely worth every spent euro! I would like to visit this place one more time (or ten times more)
Would definitely recommend!
P.s. highly recommend to book a table in advance

Borchardt is a true Berlin classic! We had the Wiener Schnitzel – golden, crispy, and absolutely delicious – and the steak tartare, which had a fresh and original flavor. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, perfect for a relaxed evening. Prices are a bit high, but for the taste and experience, it’s definitely worth it!

We found this place via a google search and it was such a find! Great traditional food and great prices. Beer was brilliant - the difference of a proper wooden barrel is huge! We enjoyed our first visit so much, we came back every day and worked our way through rhe menu. If you want a good honest bar/restaurant with authentic products, in a great location, run by efficient and polite staff then this is for you.
Recommend - The knuckle is huge, the 6 sausages with mash is so tasty and the strudel is really Blimin good.

I have been visiting this restaurant for many years, my first visit was about 12 years ago. It used to be one of my favorite places in Berlin. Unfortunately, over time the quality does not feel the same as before. Maybe it was just an unlucky day, but the overall experience was not as smooth as it used to be.
This time the service was somewhat disappointing. There is a tall, bald waiter who seems to be in charge, and the communication felt unnecessarily harsh. We asked a couple of simple questions about table reservations, but the interaction did not feel very welcoming. It is not a major issue, but it does affect the overall impression.
What disappointed me the most was the pork knuckle. I came to Berlin specifically to enjoy the knuckle here, and this was already my second recent visit for that reason. Unfortunately, the meat was very dry and almost tasteless, as if it had simply been baked without proper seasoning. In the past it was juicy, flavorful, and much better balanced. Maybe it was just a coincidence, but the expectations were definitely higher.
The sausages and the beer are still very good, no complaints there. However, considering the long history and reputation of this place, both service and consistency in food quality could use some improvement.
I truly hope the restaurant can return to the level it once had.

Nice place to have german traditional food. Most dishes are not super expensive, you ate well for what you are paying.
We went with friends and every dish was delicious.
The restaurant is big and you can go there with a large group, but make a reservation first in this case.
Edel Coradi - 2 months ago
We were super happy to find this traditional informal beer hall. It was exactly what I was looking for in Berlin - lively recorded German music, good beer, decent goulash and beef consommé and moderate pricing. However, when we went back the second time, the waitress chose the tip percentage for me which I did not appreciate. I felt taken advantage of due to the language barrier.
Tina Chen - 6 months ago
A typical German - Berlin restaurant! Food was tasty and the portions were huge ! It’s really a value for money in case you are looking for something traditional and not special . Service was rather slow (you needed to really look for a waiter and try to make your presence visible!) . The atmosphere was good although it was very noisy due to the number of people in the place . I would suggest it if you are looking for something simple , traditionally German-Berliner and value for money place to eat in Berlin

Easy to book a table
Friendly welcome and they had considered our additional requirements that where mentioned in the booking info. Thanks !
Perfect service by all staff and most importantly great food perfectly prepared We will return for sure!

Bocca di Bacco is a powerhouse of consistency. It avoids the "reactive" trap of chasing fleeting culinary fads, instead focusing on a top-tier execution of Italian luxury. For anyone who has spent time navigating the corporate or high-stakes worlds of Berlin, this is a reliable headquarters for a dinner that demands both quality and discretion.
Perfect for: Business dinners, high-end celebrations, and those who value quality over hype.

My partner and I visited this lovely place last week, it was quite late so we didn’t have high hopes of getting served but had such a lovely welcome. Very minimal and chique setting. Food was fab, started with the special starter of the week which was veal spices, they were fab and for mains we had ox tail rigatoni and chorizo risotto, both equally as amazing. The drinks were great. To top it off the waiter was lovely, he gave us some great recommendations for our first time in Berlin.
Reasonably priced for the quality of food, would reccomend.

It was one the best dinner with my husband! We had a wonderful time together in Bocca di Bacco! The staff is very friendly, helpful and always around. Our waiter Giovanni was amazing! Excellent service and attitude!
The food itself is more than tasty! You really want to try as much as possible! We really had a feeling that we are in Italy!

The vibe of the restaurant is really nice, perfect for date night or a romantic dinner. The food, I find it quite average compare to the price. The ingredients are very fresh and top quality but the taste is quite generic, salty and nothing special. My spaghetti dish, the noodles are a little too firm to be al dente. In general, this place offers excellent service and good quality food but I just have a higher expectation when it comes to the taste especially for a restaurant like this.

Hands down the best veal schnitzel I ever had! The meat was so soft inside and the outter batter was thin and flaky. The side of postatoes were extremely buttery and soft. Would definitely come back to this venue. Their coffee was well prepared too. You can see when a venue takes care of coffee, and they definitely did. Service fast and efficient, no frills. I also strongly recommend the apple strudel, which was devine. We had it with vanilla sauce that was so good, runny, vanillaey and gentle. Definite would reommend this restaurant. PS. It is a bit on the expensive side, but I believe it is worth it when visiting Berlin.
Joao Pimentel - a month ago
Atmosphere is very nice, the interior looks historical and their apfelstrudel is authentic. Prices are a bit high but considering the location it makes sense.
If your around Unter den Linden and need a break, a visit here is recommended. Coffee and a desert here was a very nice plan during our visit in Berlin. Their coffee was tasty and they offer oat milk option too.

Einstein Unter den Linden is truly a gem in the heart of Berlin!
The atmosphere is both classic and cozy, making it a perfect stop after exploring the boulevard.
I ordered their famous Apfelstrudel and it was absolutely incredible. Freshly baked, perfectly balanced in sweetness, and served warm with cream.
The portion was enormous, honestly big enough for two people to share, so keep that in mind if you’re not very hungry.
Another highlight was the tea service. Instead of just a single cup, they brought a whole teapot which easily filled four cups.
The staff were attentive and professional. Overall, it’s not only about the food and drinks but also the authentic old-Berlin atmosphere that makes the experience so special.

20 bucks for a club sandwich is legit if you deliver an amaizing sumptuous sandwich. . . . Sadly we did not get that experience .
It's not bad by any means but very far from a reasonable price point.
Paul Prime - a month ago
We came for the apple strudel and it absolutely delivered. Served with vanilla sauce, ice cream, and whipped cream, it was delicious- easily one of the best in town. The atmosphere and service were also excellent.
However, I’m dropping stars due to pricing transparency. The menu lists two different prices for the strudel (€13 on the all-day menu vs. €15 on the dessert menu) with no clear distinction between them. It leaves you feeling a bit ripped off.

The warm welcome at entrance was really appreciated. The staff were nice and attentive, portions of food really big. The pork knuckle was a bit dry, overcooked or maybe warmed after too long cooked. The snitzel was ok but too oily. Overall nice atmosphere and staff, but the food 3 out of 5.

A solid place for a city center with reasonable prices.
The service and atmosphere were excellent: a very friendly waitress, nice and attentive.
The venue is very cool: a combination of classic pub, but with big windows and nice views on the streets
But due to the food, cant rate higher. The food is not bad - we ordered crayfish soup (interesting flavour, but only one(?) piece of crayfish inside), liver with apples (simple and delicious) and a currywurst (main offender). The sausage looked sad on a big plate, was not cut and was served alongside cold potato salad. I’ve tasted better sausages in random markets of Germany. Big disappointment.
Overall, a pretty good pick, if you are looking for Berliner classics.

This is my favorite German restaurant in Berlin! The last time I visited the city, I knew that if I ever returned, I would absolutely come back here to eat. The service is wonderful, and the food is simply delicious. Every single dish is flawless, prepared with care and full of authentic flavors. I’m so happy to have such a special place on the map of Europe, a place I want to return to again and again for its impeccable taste. Next time I have the chance to come to Berlin, I will definitely visit again! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making every visit feel truly memorable. It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience I cherish.

Changed plans last minute and found it excellent. Service was good, they even accommodated my young child with a high chair after he woke up. I loved the cherry juice, just slightly tart and real cherry taste. Dinner was filling and the steak was perfectly seasoned. Was sad that I had no room for dessert.

Easy to book a couple of hours in advance. Delicious burger and really friendly happy staff. We brought our 4 year old with us and had a lovely meal. There's a kids menu and the lovely waiter brought over Haribo sweets for our son after our dinner. Very kind!

This was the best meal I had in Berlin. Our server Amir was fantastic - so personable, friendly, and honestly the bright spot of my visit here! Really made my night!
The food was decent and the atmosphere was casual but also nice ( just a bit noisy due to the acoustics). I’ve attached “Before” and “After” pics of our tomahawk steak, which we finished on the hot stone! (FYI we requested the steak rare so we could cook it to our taste, so don’t be alarmed!)
Meal was 180 including a bottle of wine, tomahawk ribeye and three sides

Burger was really delicious, lots of items inside and on the side. Crispy onion, carameluzed onion, bacon, herbs, cheese and sauce, also chips on the side. Portion was big enough for an adult, could not finish.
The only point is with the steak we ordered, there was *no side veg, sauce, etc.* with fillet steak. No mushroom sauce, no veggies, nothing, and steak must go with sides.
But it was very soft and juicy.

Cozy little place, 11.50€ for every dish. The portions are filling, the presentation is nice, the staff is super sweet. Don't expect the crispy duck or chicken you'd find at an Asian buffet type of place, they boil it here, but it still tasted good. The noodles my parents had weren't proper stir fry noodles but more like those cheap Ramen packets, so maybe get rice instead. Also there was no music or anything playing, so all you'd hear was the buzzing of the drink fridges while you ate, which was a bit grating.

A really lovely spot not too far from the city center. Upon walking in, was greeted by the very friendly owner, ordered my food and sat down. Not even two minutes later, my food was on the table ready to eat. It was very tasty and I was stuffed afterwards.

The breakfast selection is great, tastes good and is reasonably priced, unfortunately I'm only there three times a week.

A canteen that has only had a new operator since 2024.
The prices are unfortunately a bit higher than at other canteens in the area. The food preparation is also rather average. The meatballs with Balkan-style sauce were nothing more than frozen gypsy dumplings.
Hardly anything is freshly cooked here.
The staff changes frequently, but is usually quite friendly.
The canteen is used by employees of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, but is also open to anyone from outside. Ministry employees receive a small discount. Otherwise, the canteen appears clean from the outside.
But I've tried different dishes several times now and haven't been particularly impressed. Even though there are four different dishes daily, one of which is a soup.
My conclusion: You can eat here, but you don't have to. It's enough for a hot meal in a pinch.
Henker von Spandau - a year ago
I'm a bit shocked that all the applications from the previous owner, Intermezzo, have now been merged???? That's not right and it's misleading for customers! Not fair.
Well, I can't agree with Mr. Gr.! I'm there regularly during my break and have to ask for smaller portions (for pasta and rice), and the prices are reasonable, like lunch specials everywhere...fish and meat dishes are 7-8 euros. Anyone can see for themselves. Some people are just not fair in their reviews...sad.
It's a nice canteen with a café atmosphere...that's the impression of me and my colleagues from the company next door 😉 Google doesn't make it easy to update! Intermezzo-Berlin has been permanently closed since the end of 2023!!!! The current canteen has a different name! Maybe someone could change that.
