The food is delicious, albeit greasy. American style large portions. The atmosphere is also very good, in the style of Hollywood of the 60s It's perfect for spending a holiday there

Very good Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, my companion found her food slightly too big. Mine was perfect size and was absolutely worth the price. Quick and friendly service. Tolilet was okay, closed booths. The mayo bottle was leaking on the side.

This is a unique place! This is built as an American diner in the 60s and they have taken this theme really really seriously! And yes I’m talking about the huge portion sizes and they are American portions sizes! We were naive to order starters but there was absolutely no need! If you are really hungry you would love it even more and also they already tell you you can pack it if not able to finish! For the portion sizes it’s actually cheap! I recommend the chicken with mushroom sauce!

Got an "American" Breakfast. Farmers and Arizona omelets. Might have been 3-4 eggs in each. Comes with a side salad, which had 1000 Island dressing, which is usually to see in Germany for us. Brotchen was very fresh, omelets were very good. Fluffy interior and slight crisp on the outside. One down side is the lighting for us, pink and green fluorescent.might be better looking at night. Don't know if the jukebox works.

Fantastic restaurant with beautiful interrior and decorations. We had bbq burgers there and they were amazing. The portion size was very good, and the burger was really tasty with cheese. The fries were also great, and came very fresh and hot.

The perfect biergarten with amazing German food and beer. The pilsner is the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the cheese spaetzle. They don’t sell their beer outside of their breweries, so drink up while you can.

I visit Das Lemke from time to time. Its a stable craft brewery without any unnecessary pretension. The beer is fresh and well balanced. The interior is industrial, spacious and noisy during peak hours -a typical Berlin atmosphere. Its a great place to come with friends or just have a drink after a long journey. The service is polite and professional. A good place if you want quality beer without any unnecessary pretension.

Lemke, a craft brewery in Alexanderplatz, sells a variety of delicious beers. I particularly enjoyed the Berliner Kante, Weizen, Original, and IPA. The Crispy Pork Knikle and Berlin Currywurst were good food choices. But my favorite was the Rye Whiskey Barrel Age Vinum, a barley wine. This top-of-the-line 13.5% alcohol drink can't be called lambic or beer; it's definitely a must-try for those who are into craft beer. I could come back just to taste it. The only downside is that the staff could have been a little more cheerful and polite.

Nice tapas restaurant. Very friendly waiters. Overall the food is good, the paella was particularly great, I could have eaten a bowl full of it. The croquetas de jamon were also very good. If there is one weakness I would point out are the spanish tortillas, which were just ok / average. All in all it is a nice place to eat in.

This place feels overrated and nothing particularly special. We specifically came to try the paella, but when we ordered, we noticed that the photos shown for the restaurant don’t match what is actually served. We understand it’s a tapas-style concept, but almost everything is tapas, and for those prices, there are plenty of places in Berlin offering better taste and more satisfying portions. The food itself was just okay—nothing memorable. The service was also quite slow, and it didn’t seem to be because the place was crowded; it felt more like a lack of attention. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place, and I don’t see myself returning

Attentive quick service, delicious food like in Spain 👍 I had paella. Wine is not served by glasses, only starting 0.25L Nice view on a street from the inside. Subtle soft pop music. The only thing about the atmosphere that for price tag candles on tables could be real, or there could be fresh flowers

Fantastic Spanish tapas bar in Berlin! Everything was delicious, fast, and full of interesting flavor combinations - the authentic presentation really transports you straight to Barcelona. Excellent product quality, great wines and an impressive wine selection overall. A fun, warm atmosphere and truly great service. It’s best to reserve a table on weekends. Highly recommend!

I love tapas and this restaurant is definitely a very good one for it! Very nice and friendly service with a great environment and a huge variety of good tapas options on the menu. The size of the portions could be a bit bigger tho, to serve more people on the table in a better way. As usual and not necessarily a complaint about this restaurant, the bill may come a bit expensive as it is normal to usually order multiple tapas to share with the people on the table… If you get the restaurant full, it might be a bit uncomfortable as the space between the tables is quite narrow. But it is overall a very nice experience and i will definitely come back next time in Berlin!

Had a fantastic time at the Irish Kilkenny Pub in Berlin. The Guinness was excellent—fresh, perfectly poured, and one of the best I've had outside Ireland. The atmosphere was warm, lively, and welcoming, with friendly staff and a great crowd that made the evening even more enjoyable. Great spot! Stopped by with a friend because it was one of the few places open before 5 PM, and it didn't disappoint. The interior is huge and incredibly cool to look at. The Kilkenny red ale was fresh, crisp, and hit the spot. Definitely worth a visit

Great selections of beers. The New Castle Ale was perfect. Foos was good too asn the staff very friendly. The pub is amazing and really it was a pitty we did not visit it at night.

Great place for food, drinks and music too. Had a few pints of the black stuff and got a full Irish which was great .And the bangers and mash were next level. Amazing. Luke was a fantastic guy pleasure to meet you sir 🫡 and all the staff I found to be very pleasant. They had all the football matches on great place to watch the games. Nice pub with a good assortment of drinks. The staff is very nice and could even speak dutch (my native language) a bit. If you don't speak german, i believe all staff can speak english pretty well. Some guys got aggressive and started fighting but it was resolved very quickly. All in all good experience.

My sister and I had a wonderful experience here. As visitors from Hungary, it was such a nice surprise to meet a waiter from Slovakia who spoke a little Hungarian. That small gesture made us feel especially welcome. The service was professional and efficient, the food was delicious, and the coffee was excellent. Thank you to the entire team for your warm hospitality—we truly enjoyed our visit and would gladly return.

At the beggining the service was not overwelming. The food was ok. Nothing remarkable. The disappointment was the tiramisu.. not even close. Just wipped cream ,cocoa powder, (chocolate syroup?!!- orange peels?!) Mascarpone probably is not an ingredient for their tiramisu

I’ve had five mains and two desserts and they were all great. As well as the food, the staff are also very good and the place is well located. One waiter in particular, Genti, was very warm. Can’t recommend enough.

A really impressive place, good atmosphere and good food. Not fully familiar with the preparation and cutting of meats, we tried to explain to the waiter, he argued with us and in the end we paid for a piece of meat that was cut incorrectly by the chef. You can still say that the food is delicious

Absolutely delicious food from start to finish! The steaks were amazing and cooked perfectly, and the chips, focaccia, salads and desserts were all equally fantastic. Everything tasted fresh, high quality and full of flavour. The service from our waiter Max was honestly the best we experienced whilst in Berlin, so friendly, attentive and welcoming, which really made the evening special. The restaurant also had such a lovely vibe and atmosphere throughout. We would definitely recommend Block House and would happily return if we ever come back to Berlin.

A truly amazing experience, from the friendly, warm welcome to being looked after by the amazing wait team. I had the beef carpaccio to start, followed by the well prepared rib-eye mastercut, all paired with a glass of red recommended by the waitress. The salad, garlic bread and french fries on the side were also a delight. Great food, great chef, great service, a big thanks to the lady wearing glasses who looked after me along with the red wine recommendation!

Had such a nice meal at BLOCK HOUSE Am Alexanderplatz 🥩 The food was really good — the steak was cooked perfectly, super juicy and full of flavour. Everything came out fresh and well presented, and the portions were very satisfying. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and the service was great — friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a great spot if you’re in Berlin and craving a good steak. I’d happily come back! ✨

The location is great. The outdoors space is quite nice, but prices feel like a bit of a tourist trap location - paid €40+ for 1 Caesar salad, a coffee, a tea, and a water. Waiter also demanded a tip and refused to let us pay without one Edit: added pictures to my review so all can see there is no incorrect information and also the size of the €20 Caesar salad (+€€ for adding chicken). Please view other 1- and 2- star reviews to understand this place’s approach to tipping

ATMOSPHERE: Elegant decor inside, nice outdoor seating in a courtyard setting. BEVERAGE: Berliner Beer Good with a light taste. FOOD: Ravioli Delish. Chantrells, truffle oil & pecorino cheese. Risotto Avoid. Done with arborio green peas, leek, broad beans, parmesan cheese & pig. It was tasteless, sauceless, and the risotto was undercooked. OVERALL: We had a nice time with our local friends. Maybe we ordered the wrong food, but that's what we were craving and were disappointed.

Small unassuming german restaurant on the edge of a popular shopping area in Berlin. The hostess was pleasant, the menu has a modest number of choices. The food is good, home style, not fancy, I had the pork schnitzel and a local beer. Both were good, and I'd say if you're wanting some simple german fare in an old style cafe, this spot fills the bill.

In the mood for a hearty German meal? Then this is the place to be. The restaurant has a nostalgic, no-nonsense feel to it. There’s a clear menu featuring several classic choices, as well as seasonal recipes. The food is equally no-nonsense: simply good, traditional, and without unnecessary fuss. The Wiener Schnitzel was delicious. However, in our opinion, the half duck was a bit too deep-fried; it would have been better if it had been oven-roasted. All in all, I’m giving this restaurant a solid four stars!

Kaiserschmarrn was not good. Inside of it was still wet, there was no jam/marmelade, it was more like a syrup. Vegetarian special was horrible. Potatoes were way too greasy, onions were completely burned. Vegetables were cooked way too long that it got mushy. The vegetable schnitzel was just a fried vegetable (I expected a vegetarian schnitzel so maybe thats my fault for misunderstanding). The meat dish was good tho, could have had a bit more flavour. Service and vibe was good!

Wow, that really hit the spot! I had a pesto lasagna, which I didn't even know existed up until this point. It was so good and served with a bunch of salad on the side. Top! I also had an espresso and really liked the fact that it didn't have a sour aftertaste and was very tasty, just like it should be. I'm looking forward to coming back to try other things on the menu!

Called in whilst sightseeing in the area. Was on the quiet side but it was Monday and it does look like it would be a place to be when busy. Decently priced and portion size was very generous. Very attentive waiter. Food and drink came quickly. Playing some good music too

Only had a few Drinks here and we loved the cocktails. We did not experience the stories about the tip being added. But that could also be because we spoke German. Server was very friendly and I liked the atmosphere. Music could be a bit better with less Indian sounds if you'd ask me. Overall 4 stars because being fully honest the atmosphere did play the experience down a bit.

We stumbled into Palm Beach to get out of the rain after another restaurant nearby was closed, and it turned out to be a great find. The atmosphere is unique and really does make you feel like you are somewhere tropical, which was a nice break from the weather outside. The service was excellent, and the staff did a great job keeping up with our table throughout the meal. I really enjoyed the food; my currywurst and fries were delicious and hit the spot perfectly. It is a welcoming place with a great vibe and quality food. Definitely a solid choice if you are in the area and looking for a relaxed meal.
