This is a bit of a tourist trap. It has plenty of fun things from the 60ies and 70ies, but the place is pretty old and warn out. The food is eatable but not great and the staff seem very unenthusiastic. So unless you are looking for something to post on social media I would suggest that you go somewhere else.

The place is nice, good service, big portions. The food was nothing special. The sauce is pretty generic and too sweet. Again, nothing special. We ordered ribs, burgers and some chicken. If you don’t have high expectations, this place might suffice.

Went here on a Viator food tour and was pleasantly impressed with the amount of food we received and our two pints! Lovely interior and the staff were nice. The beer was magnificent. The food portions are generous.

Been there to have some drinks and dinner as I was in Berlin and this place has good rating on Google BUT all in vain. Me and my friends request for a table the the staff show very rude attitude. There were more than half tables empty but they said sorry go somewhere else.
After hard request they were let us stay for drinks which we had. So disappointed about their service. No doubt there was nice atmosphere. Hope never try that place again and must not recommend. Wish I can give 5 stars

First night in Berlin and really enjoyed this place. Ordered the beer tasters, good fun, and pork knuckle for food. It was huge and delicious. I couldn't finish it. Highly recommended to come here and experience this.

Very friendly young barman. Great selection of beers to be enjoyed in a peaceful beer garden. I didn't have any food but from what I could see, it looked good. I will definitely visit again.

Craft beer brewpub central in Berlin. Lots of their own craft beers which was very decent. The west coast IPA was mostly bitter, but the hefeweizen was good! We only had some French fries as a snack but they were pretty good. The first waiter was quick but seemed a bit annoyed. Later on we got another younger waiter who was very kind and service minded.

We were 2 people for lunch on a Sunday, we ordered a portion of Paella along with 6 or 7 other tapas orders along with 0.25l of wine. It's safe to say it was a tiny bit too much! The Tapas with this many side dishes can feed 3. We ended up packing the leftovers to go. The food was great, the service as well and the ambiance was just right! Would definitely go back 🤩

The food was delicious, the staff really friendly! The tables were tiny though and we were afraid to knock the food out drinks down the whole time. As no other table was available we couldn't get a bigger one, while right next to us sat a couple with only drinks at a table for four. That was a little disappointing, but we managed not to knock anything down ;)

this tapas bar will transport you to Spain 👍 we love the vibe and food here. The prive was also very affordable. Our recommendation is 1) to reserve esp. for Fri dinner and 2) order the chistorra 🤩

It is a really nice Tapas Restaurant. The service (thanks Mo!) was kind, fast, attentive and professional. The food was great, we were reminded of our Barcelona trip. The location itself is a bit narrow, so that the chair of my friend was hit a few times by other guests. However a very good experience.
It is a tourist spot, you should reserve a table.

Delicious, great wine selection, highly recommend patatas bravas, bondiola, olives and manchego. Potato tortilla was dry through :( (they have an amazing olive oil that helped with that though 💜)

Loved the atmosphere and cheers for the friendly service. At the bar and table service were amazing. The beer mix was interesting. Tried the Guinness and Kilkenny. Then tried stowford. The mix chip basket was ok but deep fried so can’t have solo. Good vibes

Fun spot tucked under the train rails. Loved the design and the food was fantastic Irish fare. It gets pretty crowded so the earlier you can make it the better.

What a lovely pub, great service from the Irish bar tender. The bar itself is really cool, high stools and a fabulous copper ceiling feature and pipes which is functional to the set up.
Visited the ladies, sadly that left a lot to be desired. I can’t say I enjoyed the experience.

Adorable place! Amazingly delicious food for a reasonable price! And with this level of tastiness, when you just can’t stop eating, the size does matter! And the size is actually really big! 😉 Everything cooked just perfectly! The tastiest fish and chips! Wonderful roast-beef! Very good Guinness and Kilkenny beer! And very friendly staff! Btw, Karina is simply the best! And the live music is really good as well! Strongly recommended place!

Average pizza - very dry, like a sheet of paper, definitely too thin. The place itself seems quite old but feels cozy. Service is too slow during busy hours.

The restaurant was a last minute decision and really worth. The food was tasty, staffs were friendly and there's a big collection of wines. I ate Tortellini alla chef (pasta with chicken and mushroom) and my friend Spaghetti Bolognese. The portion Was also huge, even that we were hungry. I totally recommend this place.

Everything was great. The food was prepared according to our wishes, served quickly and most importantly - very tasty. You'll be completely satisfied with one serving. The bread served on site is incredibly good, and when eating a steak you can immediately feel the grill. We were served by a blonde woman with glasses - a very nice and positive woman. Additionally, we received a small gift, something that has never happened to me before in a restaurant. I recommend and will definitely come back!!

I love this place. I love the beef cuts, garlic bread, burger and all of it .The team is very friendly and are very nice to kids. It’s a very busy place and is a good idea to have reservations. It’s very near to Alexander Platz and is centrally located. They also have a great collections of wines and drinks . Chocolate lava cake with ice cream is also yummy.

Great experience, food very good and prices were reasonable enough. Staff were very very friendly. Nice place to go for a well cooked steak. Would go again

Enjoyed the steaks at this venue, though my order for medium rare arrived more on the medium side. While the sides lacked extravagance, the overall experience was pleasing for a casual yet satisfying dinner. The ambience adds to the charm, making it a decent spot for those seeking a straightforward, enjoyable meal with well-prepared steaks, even if the precision of the doneness was a slight miss.

I just had some drinks here on a warm evening, but walked past it on earlier occasions, snd it seems to be a good hangout based on the amount of people.
They have a good drinks selection, with some variety in beers that are decent. The views are excellent and the location is very Berlin.

The name wouldn't lead you to think this, but the pizza here is about as authentic Italian as you can get. The service is excellent and in the Summer you can sit on the terrace and watch Berlin strolling along the banks of the Spree. They offer a good selection of wine and the prices are more than fair. One thing you should note is that it's located under a railway, so you will hear (and feel) the occasional train rolling by. But that certainly doesn't spoil the experience. Well worth a visit!

Excellent prices and really tasty Italian food. Don't let the branding fool you! It's a great place for food and drink, especially when the sun is shining and you can sit outside.

It's a place with very nice feel, good service and tasty food. Service was pretty quick and portions were quite sizable. Both pizza and pasta were great, so we went for dessert... aaand it wasn't as great. But overall experience was excellent.

Very good service, short waiting time. The food was very good. Tomato soup was delicious, Parma pizza very good and quite large, with lots of rucola on top. Panna cotta was heaven in my mouth. Everything cost less than 30€. It was lovely to sit outside. There was a nice fountain nearby.

The food is better than what one expects from a very touristy part of the city. However, the menu had mold in it (see pic)… no soap in the bathroom, glasses were dirty. Hygiene is really questionable

I've been there yesterday with 10 other people. The service was surprisingly good. The waiters were super kind, helpful and attentive. We neither couldn't complain about the food. It was served quickly, at the same time, looked good and tasted good as well. I'd definitely come back. Tiny improvement suggestion would be the bread that was served in the beginning :) more crispy and fluffy would be awesome!

Nice restaurant, a lot better than expected in a densely touristy part of town. We had pizzas with a good well baked slightly chewy (that’s a good thing!) crust and a few bottles of wine. Very friendly and welcoming staff, not very expensive. Overall a very relaxed nice evening, will come back next time I’m in the neighborhood!

We spent New Year’s Eve at the Oxymoron. Arriving at the restaurant is already an experience. Embedded in the „Hackeschen Höfe“ the Jugendstil environment the restaurant follows with certain elements in its interior which contributes to a unique experience. From the very first moment the whole concept lives up to its promise. Service, food and ambience are almost perfect. The 5-course-menu was delicious. A remarkable evening
Thank you for a great dinner, Oxymoron team!

Upon my visit to Oxymore, I wore more casual were then expected dress code and arrived solo without a reservation. Despite my casual attire, I secured a seat. However, an initial discomfort arose when two waiters exchanged glances and laughter upon seating me, which I found disrespectful.
Throughout the dining experience, two servers assisted me. One treated me what i felt like different, while the older gentleman treated me accordingly.
Transitioning to the culinary aspect, the Moonfish Salmon Carpaccio was great. The diverse flavors melded good with one-another, creating a delightful and light dish. The execution was also good.
Moving on to the main course, the Linguini Noodle with Lobster. The pasta absorbed the lobster's rich flavor, which was nice. The lobster was moist and juicy. Which i really enjoyed
For both dishes and a chardonnay + tip i paid €60

We visited Oxymoron for my Son's 14 birthday and it is such an elegant venue and the food is of the highest quality.
We will be visiting Berlin again after such an amazing first impression and we will be looking to return to Oxymoron during our next trip.

We randomly walked into the restaurant, and despite being fully booked they found a table for us. We had excellent service, the food was outstanding, the drink recommendations (wine and beer) were well paired, and the atmosphere was perfect to allow dinner conversation and still feel like you were park of an exciting group of diners. While we may not return to Berlin anytime soon, we have recommended this place to several friends who have since visited and enjoyed the same experience as described. Thank you!
