Got an "American" Breakfast. Farmers and Arizona omelets. Might have been 3-4 eggs in each. Comes with a side salad, which had 1000 Island dressing, which is usually to see in Germany for us. Brotchen was very fresh, omelets were very good. Fluffy interior and slight crisp on the outside. One down side is the lighting for us, pink and green fluorescent.might be better looking at night. Don't know if the jukebox works.

This is a unique place! This is built as an American diner in the 60s and they have taken this theme really really seriously! And yes I’m talking about the huge portion sizes and they are American portions sizes! We were naive to order starters but there was absolutely no need! If you are really hungry you would love it even more and also they already tell you you can pack it if not able to finish! For the portion sizes it’s actually cheap! I recommend the chicken with mushroom sauce!

Very good Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, my companion found her food slightly too big. Mine was perfect size and was absolutely worth the price.
Quick and friendly service. Tolilet was okay, closed booths.
The mayo bottle was leaking on the side.

Not for vegetarians. Fries partly not done, 1 vegetarian burger on the menue with half the weight and half-raw slice of zucchini on it. Medium dome burger still dry. Staff seems nice, bathroom floor will try to keep your shoes.

I visit Das Lemke from time to time. Its a stable craft brewery without any unnecessary pretension. The beer is fresh and well balanced. The interior is industrial, spacious and noisy during peak hours -a typical Berlin atmosphere. Its a great place to come with friends or just have a drink after a long journey. The service is polite and professional. A good place if you want quality beer without any unnecessary pretension.

Lemke, a craft brewery in Alexanderplatz, sells a variety of delicious beers. I particularly enjoyed the Berliner Kante, Weizen, Original, and IPA. The Crispy Pork Knikle and Berlin Currywurst were good food choices. But my favorite was the Rye Whiskey Barrel Age Vinum, a barley wine. This top-of-the-line 13.5% alcohol drink can't be called lambic or beer; it's definitely a must-try for those who are into craft beer. I could come back just to taste it. The only downside is that the staff could have been a little more cheerful and polite.

I had an amazing experience at Lemke Beer House in Berlin! The place has a great atmosphere, the food was really good, and everything felt well thought out and welcoming. A special shout-out to our waiter, Ivan — such a lovely guy! He was friendly, attentive, and truly made the evening even better. We had the best time there. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing experience here on our one-month Europe Trip! Had a superior beer flight and enjoyed the outdoor patio. The food was super delicious. Super cool ambiance with the train tracks right overtop of the restaurant!
Marina R - 3 months ago
I didn’t know this brewery before. It’s not new, but it’s also not a truly traditional one. First things first: the Pils and the Helles are excellent, and I noticed they’re also available in supermarkets. That said, I won’t return. The place feels like a tourist trap, and Berlin has far better, more typical German beer venues. While the ambience is pleasant, the food is clearly overpriced (15Euro for a Currywurst?). Service was very inconsistent—not because of the waitstaff’s abilities, but due to poor management and insufficient coverage during the high season, especially with staff off sick.

What a beautiful restaurant this is, with a wonderful atmosphere.
The tables are a bit close together, making it quite crowded and difficult to hear each other.
The food is excellent; every dish was exquisite.
The service was also very attentive, and you could tell they took pride in what they served.

Fantastic Spanish tapas bar in Berlin! Everything was delicious, fast, and full of interesting flavor combinations - the authentic presentation really transports you straight to Barcelona. Excellent product quality, great wines and an impressive wine selection overall. A fun, warm atmosphere and truly great service. It’s best to reserve a table on weekends. Highly recommend!

Attentive quick service, delicious food like in Spain 👍
I had paella. Wine is not served by glasses, only starting 0.25L
Nice view on a street from the inside.
Subtle soft pop music.
The only thing about the atmosphere that for price tag candles on tables could be real, or there could be fresh flowers
Marina Moshnogorskaia - a month ago
I love tapas and this restaurant is definitely a very good one for it!
Very nice and friendly service with a great environment and a huge variety of good tapas options on the menu.
The size of the portions could be a bit bigger tho, to serve more people on the table in a better way.
As usual and not necessarily a complaint about this restaurant, the bill may come a bit expensive as it is normal to usually order multiple tapas to share with the people on the table…
If you get the restaurant full, it might be a bit uncomfortable as the space between the tables is quite narrow.
But it is overall a very nice experience and i will definitely come back next time in Berlin!

Yosoy is a lively Spanish tapas bar right in the heart of Berlin, and my visit there left a really good impression overall. The atmosphere is vibrant and warm, just like a real tapas spot in Spain—lots of happy chatter, clinking glasses, and communal energy. It can get quite crowded, so a reservation is smart, but even when busy, the service feels attentive and genuinely friendly. The menu has a big range of both classic and inventive tapas, including plenty of vegetarian options. The ingredients are fresh, and most dishes deliver on flavor—standouts were the padrón peppers and the tortilla. The wine list has nice Spanish selections, and the staff are knowledgeable about what pairs well with the food. I especially appreciated the multilingual service and small personal touches, like a complimentary digestif at the end.The only real downside is the tight seating, which makes it a bit noisy and sometimes hard to linger. Some dishes, while tasty, weren’t quite as memorable as the best tapas in Spain, and prices are slightly on the higher side for Berlin—but the quality and experience justify it.All in all, Yosoy is a top choice for a fun evening with friends if you’re craving authentic Spanish vibes and good tapas in Berlin. Four stars: not perfect, but very close, and absolutely worth a visit for a great night out.

Found this place after looking around in the middle of January for something like a normal, atmospheric bar in Berlin. There's German football on as well all the British and Scottish games, beer on draft is good and it is a decent Guinness and I consider myself quite the conisour 😂 the food is typical Irish/ bar food and hits the spot around the drinks and sport. Asked some Irish and English lads that lived in Berlin and they rated it as one of the best in the city and I would agree. Berlin is a place geared towards either quiet bars for a cocktail or dirty techno, this place fits the bill generally for anyone looking for a regular lively bar, worth a visit and always busy.

Great place for food, drinks and music too. Had a few pints of the black stuff and got a full Irish which was great .And the bangers and mash were next level. Amazing.
Luke was a fantastic guy pleasure to meet you sir 🫡 and all the staff I found to be very pleasant. They had all the football matches on great place to watch the games. Slán Leat agus Go raibh maith agat.

I was at Kilkenny in Berlin for the first time tonight on Saturday night!
Live music, great atmosphere, great people, super super good vibes! It matched exactly my expectation! I have been many times in Irish pubs in Ireland, and this Is what I was looking for now that I move to Berlin!
A special thanks to Martin & Alecja that made me feel home with their warm welcome, kindess, and good hint about what to drink!
Already my fave place in Berlin!

All right, you step into Kilkenny and feel instantly transported to the UK or Ireland. The interior design and the bar itself feel very authentic. (Only the German Schlager music completely confused me when I walked in—anyway, nobody was singing.) A few lost Germans and other Europeans, but if you’re looking for an English-speaking crowd from north-western Europe, this is the right place. It gets really busy, yet remains very pleasant and peaceful.

I loved the place. It was a very cold day outsde and the delicious Kilkenny hot chocolate made me warm before I could settle my mind to make my choice for my meal. The meat pie was just perfect, and the whysky selection absolutely fair. The atmosphere was relaxed, and beautyfull. The waitress was a doll: helped me think it through, shared comments on the whysky and very sympathetic even talked to me about the book I had by me. I will definetely go back there in my next stay in Berlin.

At the beggining the service was not overwelming. The food was ok. Nothing remarkable. The disappointment was the tiramisu.. not even close. Just wipped cream ,cocoa powder, (chocolate syroup?!!- orange peels?!) Mascarpone probably is not an ingredient for their tiramisu

I called in her while in Berlin, was greeted by a lovely smile and shown to my table, I ordered the ribeye mastercut which came with a jacket potato and garlic bread and a side salad. I then had the lovely soufflé for dessert. Reasonably priced, great flavour and service.

I love Germany very much, und Berlin in particular this city is incredibly dear and precious to me.
This time, I invited my friends to visit me in Berlin, and honestly, I was a bit nervous because I really wanted everything to go perfectly for them
But my worries were completely unnecessary.
We had an amazing experience at Block House! The service was truly exceptional. We were served by a German lady with glasses, so unfortunately, I forgot her name, but she was incredibly polite, genuinely cultured, and full of energy 🥰
Ja, she welcomed us so warmly n made sure everything was perfect from start to finish
The food was absolutely delicious, the restaurant was spotless, and the atmosphere was cozy and family-friendly.
To top it all off, they even gave a small toy gift to our child 😍- such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture that made our visit feel even more special.
We were genuinely impressed and deeply touched by the entire experience.
We’ll definitely be coming back again.
Highly recommended!!!

I recommend american tenderloin and mr. Rumpsteak flavour is great and served with baked potato and garlic bread , potato is great bread is also great but i would love to see more crispy bread. Steaks are good however my perspective salmon is medium not special.

ATMOSPHERE:
Elegant decor inside, nice outdoor seating in a courtyard setting.
BEVERAGE:
Berliner Beer
Good with a light taste.
FOOD:
Ravioli
Delish. Chantrells, truffle oil & pecorino cheese.
Risotto
Avoid. Done with arborio green peas, leek, broad beans, parmesan cheese & pig. It was tasteless, sauceless, and the risotto was undercooked.
OVERALL:
We had a nice time with our local friends. Maybe we ordered the wrong food, but that's what we were craving and were disappointed.

Outstanding food in an exceptional space, it feels like Vienna. Very, very quiet for lunch, really a good place for working meetings if you need to impress someone. Haven't been in the evening yet. Vegetarian starter & main with only sparkling water as drinks was just under 40 euro without tip per person on the lunch menu (though there is also a somewhat cheaper 3 course menu.)

Oxymoron is a fantastic spot for brunch in Berlin. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, with a relaxed but lively vibe. The food is consistently excellent, with generous portions and creative, well-executed dishes. Everything tastes fresh and carefully prepared. The service is friendly and efficient, even when the place is busy. It’s very popular for a reason, so there can be a wait, but it’s absolutely worth it. A great place to start the day.

Trattoria Peretti is exactly the kind of Italian restaurant where you can feel that love for food and genuine hospitality come first. The dishes are flavorful, well-prepared, and full of authentic Italian taste, clearly made with care rather than rushed. Whether you choose a classic or something a bit less traditional, the quality comes through from the very first bite.
A major highlight is the service — outstanding, friendly, and truly helpful. The staff are attentive, happy to offer recommendations, and create an atmosphere where you feel genuinely welcome rather than like just another customer.
The menu is varied and packed with tempting options, making the choice itself a pleasant challenge. It’s an ideal spot for both a relaxed lunch and an enjoyable dinner where you want to take your time and savor the meal.
That said, the restaurant is located in a very tourist-heavy area, so it often gets quite busy. Reserving a table is highly recommended, especially in the evening, as walk-ins may face a wait.
In the end it is a excellent Italian cuisine, wonderful service, and a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re looking for a reliable Italian restaurant in Berlin, Trattoria Peretti is a safe and satisfying choice.

Very quaint in the old-fashioned but charming way. It was empty when we went, but started to pick up as we were leaving. Service was great. The food was good as well - lots of different options to choose from. Outside seating was available as well. I would recommend going right when they open or at least not during rush hour.

In the mood for a hearty German meal? Then this is the place to be.
The restaurant has a nostalgic, no-nonsense feel to it. There’s a clear menu featuring several classic choices, as well as seasonal recipes.
The food is equally no-nonsense: simply good, traditional, and without unnecessary fuss. The Wiener Schnitzel was delicious. However, in our opinion, the half duck was a bit too deep-fried; it would have been better if it had been oven-roasted.
All in all, I’m giving this restaurant a solid four stars!

We ended up at Sophien 11 based on a tourist guide recommendation. The place itself is small and cozy, with a nice, intimate atmosphere.
The service was fine, nothing to complain about but nothing particularly memorable either. As for the food, it was average overall.
The spätzle lacked flavor, and the schnitzel wasn’t the best we had during our trip.
One thing to keep in mind is that the restaurant is cash only.
Overall, an okay experience, but it didn’t really stand out compared to other places we tried in Berlin.

Kaiserschmarrn was not good. Inside of it was still wet, there was no jam/marmelade, it was more like a syrup. Vegetarian special was horrible. Potatoes were way too greasy, onions were completely burned. Vegetables were cooked way too long that it got mushy. The vegetable schnitzel was just a fried vegetable (I expected a vegetarian schnitzel so maybe thats my fault for misunderstanding). The meat dish was good tho, could have had a bit more flavour. Service and vibe was good!
Shannah Chalmers - 2 weeks ago
The restaurant serves traditional German cuisine, featuring dishes like pork knuckle, schnitzel, and goulash. While the food is hearty and satisfying, it leans towards the classic rather than the exceptional. Complementing the meals is a good selection of wines, served at the perfect temperature, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Eggs Benedict with avacado and bacon was delicious. Italian chef owned and operated. Fresh squeezed OJ. Top notch.

Wow, that really hit the spot! I had a pesto lasagna, which I didn't even know existed up until this point. It was so good and served with a bunch of salad on the side. Top!
I also had an espresso and really liked the fact that it didn't have a sour aftertaste and was very tasty, just like it should be.
I'm looking forward to coming back to try other things on the menu!
