5 Star Rating Yamas! Took my friends whom were visiting Berlin and we had a really fun evening here. Overall dining experience was excellent. The atmosphere is low key elegant and dimly lit. It’s family owned so the space and service provides a intimate yet personal touch. Food quality portion and size + value were all very good. Star dishes: grilled anchovies, walnut cake, moussaka. Highly recommend if you love Greek food and Ouzo.

3 Star Rating I had a great experience overall at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. If you're looking to try tasty Greek dishes, it's definitely worth a visit. However, the only downside was when we tried to pay with a card. The waiter seemed reluctant and was unwilling to split the total amount, so we had to figure it out ourselves. It was a bit disappointing, as the reason for this behavior was unclear.

4 Star Rating This place has above all a very cool atmosphere and clientele, thanks to the HAU. There are also not too many nice options around... Salads are nice, though last time it was served in a smaller portion than before. Pizza is the flag dish, but we enjoyed both pasta (with beef stripes) and cold soup.

3 Star Rating We ate outside and the waiter didn’t bother cleaning our table, he just picked the biggest leaves on the table with his hand and just brought us menus. The food was ok, not the best Ethiopian I’ve had but decent enough. The portions were very small and expensive. The vegan platter for 2 people +2 soft drinks came to 40€!! (Apparently a Diet Coke is 5€… and an apple juice is 4.50€) Also, green salad were two of the dishes on the platter, and it wasn’t even fresh! It would have been just about ok if we hadn’t be so ripped off on the price for the whole thing.

If you're looking for some gentle time out and tasty natural nourishing food ( Cottage cheese is yum yum ) in a loving warm divine atmosphere then this is the place for you. The herbal tea is amazing too and worth a try. I hope to come back one time again. The staff don't hassle you either. They leave you to enjoy the ambiance. Thank you for the experience I will not forget.

4 Star Rating Visited this cozy restaurant on a Saturday evening. Location is a little far from our hotel but we felt like eating Ethiopean food and this one had good reviews. The food is indeed well spiced. We chose the menu for 2 which consisted of beef goulash, lentils, 2 chicken drumsticks, feta, cabbage and salad. We paired it with South African white wine and Djuju Mango. Good service, nice ambiance with the candles.

4 Star Rating I really like this Ethiopian restaurant as it is close to my house. For the first time I ordered a salad and was a bit disappointed as it was nothing special, could have been done better at home and for the price it is not worth it. However, the main dish was super good. I took the mix plate with lamb curry and 3 vegetarian dishes. It was super good and really filling.

2 Star Rating Respecting the owner's request in the comment, I'd try to describe my experience. I really like the fresh produce and the warm atmosphere that is typical of a well loved neighborhood cafe. I also really like the owner who is really friendly and cheerful. However I've had 2 experiences with 2 different staffs that have made me feel uncomfortable to come again. The first one, I was refused to pay by card by saying "It's just three Euro" with an irritated face. After I paid with cash, the change was then slightly thrown on the table that I need to pick the coins one by one. Although at that point, I did see that the staff looked a bit apologetic but it still made me feel uneasy. I feel like I have been polite and thankful for the service but felt that I was treated noticeably less friendly compared to other customers before me. The second one was when one staff asked me several times if I have paid. I would understand if they asked once just in case the customer accidentally forget to pay, but the second and third questions were deffinitely to make sure I don't lie. I had to search the Rechnung from the Müll to prove that I have paid. Which finally made the staff stopped questioning me. Turns out that my order was noted as "haven't paid". Which means, that is the staff's error. While my friend who is German actually haven't paid and was not even noted nor questioned. It was reasonably humiliating. There were other things that day that also made me feel uncomfortable before the bill incident. I live across the street from your cafe. I come here often before the last incident. Usually to buy bread, fresh fruits and vegetables. It saddens me to not be able to buy the wonderful produce anymore, but I just don't want to experience these incidents that have made me feel very small.

4 Star Rating Nice place. Classic Croatian. Friendly, efficient, and accommodating servers. Good selection of Croatian classics and the food was tasty. Sarma and mashed potatoes were great. 4 Star Rating Delicious coffee, friendly people but the food is a bit average. Been here twice and found the flavours a bit random together. It taste individually good but not as one dish. Also the cake was quite dry last time I went. I’ve been here now 2 times for lunch and 3 times for a coffee and it always feels too rushed. Good point is that you’re able to make a reservation.

5 Star Rating 5 stars are not enough to judge such perfection. This Döner might be the reason I love Berlin that much. It represents everything the city has to offer ! It reminds me of my childhood memories discovering food for the first time and falling in love with it. It was a sunny afternoon in Ohio, grandma was napping while grandpa was cooking the meat with spices, garlic and cream : the three sauce you can find in this Döner … Thank you Mac for this pleasant trip in the past, love.
