Reviews
I think there’s a reason why this Dean&David has the lower review among all other branches. Most of time I got my rice warm in the bowl but only this time I had cold one. I don’t know what is the standard. Maybe the rice is supposed to be cold but I was just lucky before in other branches. The matcha latte is very normal. (Close to bad because it tastes also cold but it’s supposed to be a warm drink right?) I feel a bit sorry that I had to leave comment like this cause I can feel the staffs there are friendly and trying to make their best effort. It’s very busy shop as it’s in central station so you can imagine it can be chaotic sometimes. I can’t give 5 stars because of the low food quality but I will still give 4 stars just kudos to the employees there. Keep it up yo 💪

The seeet potato wrap is a lot bread, sweet potato and rice with traces of spinach and onion. Unsavory combination. To make the matter worse, it was yesterday’s and I could not properly remove the packaging paper. The salad was with dressing, although it was written in the menu that the dressing is recommended (not comes by default). The service was quick.

Always perfect and you know what you will get. I get the Vitality salad, again and again. Clean and inviting little spot.

Amazing smash burger — juicy beef, perfect brioche, and great toppings (avocado, egg, truffle). One of the best burgers I’ve had, definitely coming back. 🍔🔥

We had a great experience at this café at the main train station. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing, and the service was fast and friendly. We ordered draft beer and chicken bowls — everything was very tasty, fresh, and reasonably priced. The food was served quickly, which is perfect when you’re traveling. Overall, a great place to stop for a meal at the station. Highly recommended!

Nice place with interesting menu, but the prices are high. The staff is young and friendly. My burger 🍔was good, but a little bit dry. Many different places for sitting, there is a summer terrace. The service was fast, but they forgot to give me cutlery.

We had dinner at Hans im Glück at the main train station and were seriously impressed by how cool and professional the team stayed under a lot of pressure. The place was busy and it was already late, but everything ran smoothly.
Service was relaxed, friendly, and well organized, and the food quality was still on point—fresh, tasty, and well prepared. You’d never guess how stressful it must have been behind the scenes.
Big respect to the whole team for keeping it together and delivering such a great experience. Definitely a well-earned 5/5.

Who knew the highlight of my Sunday at Teufelssee would be Fred’s Food Truck. My hubby and I were exploring the towers and this food truck just happened to be there.
Hands Down the best wings I’ve had in Berlin!!! The Chicken burger was solid but the Bourbon wings were fabulous, star of the show. The flavor was tangy and just melted in your mouth. It has a kick to it. Also, his fries are really fresh crisp and pairs perfectly with the wings and burgers.
Let me just say there should be more food trucks in Berlin in general and it was just good to see it here. Secondly, service was really friendly just two dudes enjoying themselves on a sunny day with music in the back ground. Lastly, the prices are so reasonable for how tasty it is. 8 euros for wings and fries combo.
Highly highly recommend so happy to find this Food Truck gem !!!!

This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted some warm Asian style food where I could sit down as I had been walking all day. My train was still a few hours away. Very yummy and friendly service. Limited seating though but in Germany everyone shares.

I recently visited Rice On!,
an Asian restaurant located in the food court at Berlin Central Station. We tried a few dishes, including:
Chicken with rice, salad, beans, and cranberries – a healthy and flavorful combination with a nice balance of sweet and savory.
Vegan chicken with rice, salad, and Thai green curry with vegetables – a hearty and satisfying plant-based option, rich in flavor and very filling.
We paid around 30€ for three items, which felt a bit expensive for a food court meal, but the quality and freshness of the ingredients made it worth it. Everything tasted healthy and well-prepared.
The staff was extremely polite and welcoming, and you can tell the team—many of whom are Indian—work very hard to keep things running smoothly. Their service really added to the experience.
Overall, a great spot for a quick, healthy meal in Berlin—especially if you're passing through the station.

What a delicious treat! I had a bowl and was able to eat gluten free. Staff was really friendly, the portion was really large, I was barely able to finish it, and I can eat a lot and haven’t eaten all day. Looking forward to the next time.
I totally forgot to say that this place is also really authentic, compared to my food experience from travelling 2 months in Southeast Asia and my regular Asian cooking. They have tamago onsen, I’ve never been anywhere where they serve onsen eggs. Also people, remember that you build your own bowl. What you order is what you get. You can’t complain about your bowl only having rice, sauce and broccoli, when this is literally what you ordered.

As good as it can get inside a main station... prices are high but that's the location. Really good service, they actually understood/knew what was glutenfree and what wasn't (most places don't). Friendly staff, too.
The only nitpick for me was that the spicy sauce wasn't spicy and that it was a liiittle bit too salty maybe. But then again, they probably do that because of German customers.
I generally avoid eating at Hauptbahnhof, but if I ever am in a rush again, I know where to go.

Located at the right spot at the very entrance of Food court in Berlin Central train station, this Asian food joint is more than awesome for its food quality, taste and price! Service is courteous and quick and the meal portions are great enough to fill hungry tummies either before the journey or after! The taste is one of the true definitions of fusion with all overlapping on one another like Indian, Chinese, Thai and Malaysian, suiting all types of taste buds. We bought their chicken ball bowl and tofu bowl and both were simply great! There is a great differentiator in the name of various sauces they carry like green sauce, red sauce, peanut sauce and tamarind sauce and all sauces are great! I would certainly go back again whenever I cross the station! Highly recommended.

Delicious vegan burger at Berlin Central Station. I had the cheeseburger menu with fries and a Coke Zero. The burger was really tasty! It was nicely topped, not like what you usually get from other fast food chains, and also very fresh. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned too. The only downside was the Coke Zero, which came in a plastic cup and tasted a bit flat. I am also not a fan of charging extra for sauces for the fries. I would rather pay more for the fries and get a sauce whit it. If you are eating in, you need to look for a spot in the food corner nearby. All in all, definitely one of the best burger spots in the station.

This place was a challenge to find! It is on the ground level on the outside of the Station Food (court) above track 3.
The vegan chicken burger was fun as well as the nuggets.
Seating is in a food court. I’m all for any vegan/vegetarian fast food option.

I can absolutely not tell that the burgers are made without meat. Love especially the Cheeseburger, VeggieNuggets and the deep fried Cauliflower. Sauces are delicious and the high price of the sauces is justified, in my opinion. Chips with toppings are my highlight. Haply to finally have a good restaurant in the station.

My burger was actually delicious. The ‘meat’ was juicy and the ‘cheese’ was creamy. The fries were a bit dry, but still nicely seasoned. In a combo, i thought it was a good deal.

Great vegan fast food to buy take away. The burguers surprised me, they were really good. The chilli cheese fries were nothing special, but still OK.

Irecently stopped for a kebab at Berlin Hauptbahnhof, and it was a surprisingly great experience, especially for a busy train station location. The portion sizes are absolutely huge – honestly, it was so much food that it was hard to finish everything. If you’re traveling and really hungry, this place will not disappoint.
The service was very friendly and fast, which is exactly what you need when you’re in a rush between trains. Despite the constant flow of customers, the staff stayed polite, efficient, and well organized. You can tell they are used to handling big crowds without sacrificing quality.
There is a large variety of options available, so everyone can find something they like. I personally tried the lahmacun with meat, and I can highly recommend it. It was fresh, well-seasoned, and generously filled. While waiting, I noticed that the kebab box with fries was extremely popular among other customers – almost everyone around me seemed to be ordering it, and for good reason. The portions looked massive and very satisfying.
The price was 9.50 EUR, which is very reasonable considering the location, the portion size, and the quality of the food. For a central station, this is great value for money.
Overall, this is an excellent spot for a quick but filling meal at Berlin HBF. Big portions, fast and friendly service, lots of choice, and solid prices. I would definitely stop here again and can easily recommend it to others.

Great service al well!!

I’d give it a 4.5. I wasn’t expecting much since the reviews were mediocre, but I was waiting for my train and thought I’d give it a shot. The kebab was excellent and the bread really stood out for me. It was warm and crispy, and it just elevated the taste of everything else. There was a queue but it moved fairly quickly. Price was decent too.

This kebab shop offers much more than a quick meal: the french fries were a real masterpiece, some of the best fries i have ever eat.
But the experience extends beyond the food, the staff was funny, witty, and welcoming. Their jokes and lively banter make the wait, which is very short, a pleasure. The positive energy is contagious!
I absolutely recommend it!

I have been here every day during my stay in Berlin. The food is delicious and filling, all for a price that does not put much of a burden on your wallet. While I mostly went for Doner plates and have tried the Currywurst Meal as well, both slightly over 10 euros, there are definitely a lot of dishes that are much cheaper and are just as good. Highly recommend this place, as it is close by to both the station and many hotels around said station.
