Great experience with Hard Rock cafe in Berlin. Excellent exhibition of rock stars and pop star’s items, brilliant, very professional staff. Our waiter brought us ill sorts of local bear to try before we make a choice, and it was for free.
The food was tasty, alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks had quality in them.its an only cafe of the whole chain where we saw Rammstein’s items.
But on the he other side it was the smallest Hard Rock Cafe I’ve ever visited, the isles between the tables were narrow and it’s affected our privacy at a busy evening time. Also, I couldn’t find specialities of Berlin on the food menu.
The music was mostly pop unfortunately.

It’s in a great location for taking a break while shopping in Berlin. Compared to other Hard Rock cafes, it was calmer, not so much crowded which made me happy. Mr. Recep gave us great recommendations about what to choose from the menu, and many thanks to him for his hospitality. I’m also adding photos of what we ate — everything was delicious, but the nachos were my favorite.

We stopped by for a short break during our city tour. Thanks to Mr. Recep, this short visit turned into a culinary experience. The coffee, cheesecake, and atmosphere were fantastic. I felt right at home.

On my visit to Berlin, I was sick of having the traditional buffet breakfast at hotels, so I decided to try the Hard Rock for a made to order breakfast. It was a great decision. The music and videos were fun to watch while waiting for my customized ordered breakfast, including a gluten free roll (they use for burgers).
Cosmin at the bar was super nice and friendly and looked after me to ensure that I was having a good experience. I felt very welcomed, so much, that I returned the next day and had breakfast again and brought a friend with me!
I would highly recommend breakfast at Hard Rock Cafe, the food was delicious!

The beautiful indoor seating, many photos on the wall that create some fun entertainment to look at. Quick service but great food! Beautiful outdoor seating with lots of bit tables for big families to sit at! Dog friendly outdoors. Indoor bathroom available.
I got the hot chocolate with whipped cream. And the Gourmet Salad, the Turkey Dish, the people were so nice here and accommodating!

Tried this restaurant on our last night in Berlin and couldn’t fault it. Had the Peppered Steak and it was great. Decent portion size, good price and tasty food.

The man at the counter wasn’t friendly. The toilets were really dirty. The food was not good. It took a very long time to bring the food. Absolutely NOT going here again.

had one of the best dining experiences at this schnitzel restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt incredibly cozy and warm, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming, and they truly made us feel at home throughout the entire evening.
The schnitzel was absolutely amazing, perfectly cooked, crispy, and full of flavor. Even the salad and potatoes served on the side were delicious and surprisingly memorable. Honestly, I’m still dreaming about the whole meal. Everything we tried was excellent, and the quality really stood out.
It ended up being the perfect final meal for our trip to Berlin and made the experience even more special. I would definitely love to come back again.

My first time at an Austrian restaurant and it did not disappoint. The goat cheese appetizer was quite flavorful with the gherkin sorbet and beet root…excellent pairing. The schnitzel was thin, piping hot and crispy, didn’t leave me to “heavy feeling”. I went with the smaller serving.
The recommendation came from a local, and I would happily pass this one on.

We had an amazing dinner there
Last night. The cordon blu schnitzel was just perfection with the cucumber potato sallad. We have tried alot of schnitzels and this is so far one of the best. We also tried the traditional ”pancake” Kaishersmann, it was to die for!!!!! Very nice and kind service. Sasha was so lovely and inviting to us, we would definitively go back there!

If there’s one thing I would eat again in Berlin, it’s the schnitzel at Ottenthal. Honestly, it was incredible. We had one, and it was so good that we immediately ordered another. The staff were also incredibly kind and welcoming. Make sure to book a reservation before you go, as it gets quite busy.
Betül Sözen Özalp - 2 months ago
Dinner was immaculate, with a Wiener Schnitzel that was light and crisp, the crumb delicate and buttery, served simply with white asparagus and potatoes. We had a younger diner with us and the staff were warm, engaged and thoughtful, offering colouring pencils without fuss. Desserts were restrained and very well judged. We ate here while staying round the corner from the excellent Hampton Berlin City West. Calm and confident about food and wine, Ottenthal fully earns its reputation.

Business dinner with 20 people in the heart of Berlin Ku’damm area, nice choice of French Bordeaux and sancerre, a light appetizer followed by either the perfectly cooked venison or risotto, immaculate finish loaded with multicolored antioxidants I gradients, dessert was tiny but yummy. Comfortable and casual ambience.

A quick lunch with work colleagues and my first visit. On arrival the first impression is a friendly, comfortable, nicely appointed, relaxed and non pretentious. All staff were super friendly and helpful adding to the experience. The business lunch had a small but diverse selection of options and I cannot fault anything and neither could my two colleagues. Fantastic across the board. Will be back on my next trip. Thank you.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Diekmann, and it was an experience to remember. This restaurant offers a signature cuisine that truly stands out, with each dish crafted to perfection. The menu is small, but it works in their favor, ensuring that every option is of the highest quality. Each dish was delicious, leaving me eager to try everything on future visits.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a foodie or just looking for a great meal, Diekmann is definitely worth a visit

Although it's located in the touristy area near Ku'damm, this place oozes authentic German vibes. The service is extremely friendly (they speak English) and took care of me while I waited for my date to arrive. We got a Pfefferlinge soup to start (tasty!) and my date also got a Goulash soup as her main, which she reported was also delicious. I ordered the Schnitzel as my entree of course, and when they brought it out, the waitress noted how small it was and brought me a whole other cut for free! How nice is that?! The Schnitzel itself was good and comes with Preiselbeeren and a vinegar-based potato salad, which I liked a lot. We were tempted to get dessert, but sadly the only traditional option they have is the Apfelstrudel, which I'm not super fond of. But overall, I really liked this one! With the super friendly service in a convenient area and a solid menu, I can definitely see myself coming back for more. Maybe I'll see you there! Prost!

From the moment we walked in, the restaurant exuded an authentic German vibe that set the perfect tone for our dining experience. It was exactly what we were looking for, and the staff only elevated the atmosphere, particularly our waitress, who was über nice and attentive.
The food itself was a highlight of our visit. We indulged in classic German wurst, served with mashed potatoes and cooked sour cabbage. The flavors were well-balanced, rich, and satisfying, capturing the essence of traditional German cuisine. It was amazing, a meal that left us both content and eager to return.
For anyone seeking a genuine taste of Germany, this restaurant is a must-visit. The warm ambiance, friendly service, and delectable food make it a standout choice. Highly recommended!

Very nice atmosphere and food! The waitress was very kind and helpful. I didn't think that German food may be delicious. Berliner Teller🤤😋

The authentic decorations really set a wonderful atmosphere at this restaurant. Their gulassup was absolutely delicious - so good that I couldn't help coming back the very next day for another serving! Definitely a place worth visiting if you're looking for both charm and great food.

A traditional German restaurant, full of wonderful paintings on its walls and of course, tasty food. The schnitzel was really good and the Riesling tasted great. The atmosphere in the interior is something else, really beautiful. The service was a little bit slow, evidently due to the sheer amount of people dining at the restaurant. We were the only tourists dining among them, which means that Krombach is truly a German restaurant, frequented by the Berliners themselves.

I can't say enough about this restaurant. It's absolutely top notch on every level, down to picking up your coat before you sit at your table as and bringing a purse 👛 hook 🪝 to the table for your convenience.
The flavors are carefully paired in every course. The atmosphere is warm, luxury and inviting. The Italian speaking friendly waitstaff bring authenticity to the beauty and of this restaurant gem.
We were dining with our USA friends, their 1st time in Berlin. They were raving about the restaurant and were beyond grateful for the introduction to Nuovo Mario!! She said it was the best salmon she ever had!!

Had a fantastic company dinner there tonight. Service was great and gold incredible! It’s the best salmon pasta I ever had. I really enjoyed the chunks of salmon and the scallions inside and the sauce was excellent. We had a fantastic evening with my colleagues. I appreciated how you can tal and hear eachother and at the same time you don’t hear the other tables. We didn’t have room for the desert but the sabayon desert really looked exceptional!

We ordered a Käsespätzle, but we got pasta with tomato and walnuts instead — definitely not what we ordered. Nobody told us that they didn’t have the right ingredients, which was really disappointing. We were looking forward to trying the real dish, so it was quite a letdown.
We’re attaching a photo — you can judge for yourselves if this looks like a Käsespätzle or not.

The only good part is the food. It's simple and it's nice. Though not so cheap.
But the rest is bad. The waitress in "biersalon" can't answer question about taste of beer on menu (is it more into sweet, o more into bitter side? - I don't know, I don't drink beer). And the are only a few beers on the tap. And whole beer menu has only big, casual brands.

We visited Alt-Berliner Biersalon on the day of the Berlin Marathon and couldn’t have chosen a better spot to sit. The restaurant is centrally located with a great view of the lively street life. We enjoyed cold beer, a glass of wine, and some warm tacos – all tasty and relaxed. The atmosphere was vibrant and authentic, and the location makes it a great place to take a break and soak up Berlin. Overall, a good experience
Palle Schwanenflügel - 10 months ago
This is a good value Biersalon. It is not a fine dining experience, and doesn't pretend to be. As a Brit, I'd compare it to a good city centre pub.
The bar is attractive, the prices are low, the service is good. For a place in such a central location it could charge much more - so I think it is excellent value for money.
Highly recommended

The Khee Mao noodles were undercooked (rubbery) and everything was too salty. The portions are ridiculous. For 17-19 € a plate, you shouldn't have to share one individual portion of rice among everyone at the table. There were 3 of us adults trying to stretch a fistful-sized portion of rice. I've never had that experience in a Thai restaurant. The portions should more or less match what you pay. Plus they served warm water with no refills. Typical Berlin table service, but not typical Berlin prices. You used to be able to eat well in this city for a third of the price. After we left, we were still hungry.

I went there for couple of time and ordered M7 and chicken noodle it was really tasty and spicy loved it after a long i had something really good. Only that their portions are little small for main course.

Very nice Thai food not far from Ka De We. Prices as expected for the location and for how much we ordered. The homemade Peanut sauce was really tasty with the skewers. The Pad Thai Noodles were also really good. The staff were efficient but not full of smiles and would not let us spend less than a €10 euro on card. Language barrier was a problem as my friends food turned up with bean sprouts despite asking for it to be without.
Antony Ross - 2 years ago
Great service. Rice portions were huge. I ordered Panang Curry with chicken and it was the worst Panang Curry I’ve ever had in my life. Instead of the sweet flavor it came salty. I think they used salted chicken for my dish.
Sebastian Kociolek - a month ago
Good food, fair prices. I’m a big fan of spicy food, and I think I finally found my match! Usually when I ask for spicy, I get medium, but here I got the Tom Yam soup so hot that I could barely finish it (and I even do challenges sometime!) The only 2 reasons I gave 4 stars is that the service tends to be on the slow side and I wish they had some more authentic Thai beverages. Otherwise, very nice.
