I was in Hard Rock Cafe last Saturday. It was absolutely an AMAZING experience! Me and my gf had Mac&Cheese and veggies which were tasteful. But more than that, the waiter Recep was really accommodating and friendly all the time. My gf has gluten allergy so we were so lucky to be informed by Recep. thanks to him, we had a special gluten free food and left the place satisfied.

Ganz ehrlich: Ich vermisse den Flair der alten Location! Essen + Service mögen ähnlich sein, doch das Ambiente fehlt mir. Hello Joao Thank you so much for your reply. It is the interior design that I miss. The new place is less cosy/ comfortable + more noisy. Being so much smaller, it is also less spacey + hence more crowded. Your staff was making an effort to make me feel welcome, however they had to juggle too many people in too little space on a regular weekday afternoon. I guess the buzz is good for business - but I prefer to spend my money elsewhere. Angelika

Food is actually not that bad, but service can be much better. Had to go to the bar twice. First for a drink they didn't serve, but we could not contact any waiter because they just don't look if anybody needs service. And the second when we wanted to pay. Again no staff to reach/contact.

On my visit to Berlin, I was sick of having the traditional buffet breakfast at hotels, so I decided to try the Hard Rock for a made to order breakfast. It was a great decision. The music and videos were fun to watch while waiting for my customized ordered breakfast, including a gluten free roll (they use for burgers). Cosmin at the bar was super nice and friendly and looked after me to ensure that I was having a good experience. I felt very welcomed, so much, that I returned the next day and had breakfast again and brought a friend with me! I would highly recommend breakfast at Hard Rock Cafe, the food was delicious!

Great service, a little Taste of “Americana” just couldn’t miss it while in Berlin. I really recommend. I am such a big fan of the Hard Rock Cafe. I always hit it at some point when I travel for work. Always brings me back to childhood and college memories.

The beautiful indoor seating, many photos on the wall that create some fun entertainment to look at. Quick service but great food! Beautiful outdoor seating with lots of bit tables for big families to sit at! Dog friendly outdoors. Indoor bathroom available. I got the hot chocolate with whipped cream. And the Gourmet Salad, the Turkey Dish, the people were so nice here and accommodating!

Dinner was immaculate, with a Wiener Schnitzel that was light and crisp, the crumb delicate and buttery, served simply with white asparagus and potatoes. We had a younger diner with us and the staff were warm, engaged and thoughtful, offering colouring pencils without fuss. Desserts were restrained and very well judged. We ate here while staying round the corner from the excellent Hampton Berlin City West. Calm and confident about food and wine, Ottenthal fully earns its reputation.

We were first served bread and cream while waiting for our food, which was a nice start. I tried the small Schnitzel and quite liked it. The portion was filling and the meat was tender, almost melting in the mouth. For dessert, I had the strudel and the lovely smell of cinnamon filled the table as soon as it arrived. The only slight disappointment was that it did not come with a scoop of ice cream, which I had expected. Although maybe there was an option on the menu that I missed. To finish, they treated us to two small pieces of cake when we paid the bill, which was lovely. Overall, I really enjoyed my dinner at Ottenthal.

Stumbled across this restaurant while out looking for dinner one night. Was the best schnitzel I’ve ever had. Very friendly pleasant staff. Had bread and mashed potato/sour cream whilst waiting, chicken schnitzel, wine spritz and then apple strudel with home made ice cream for desert. Super busy in the restaurant but heaps of tables. Would recommend to book but we managed to squeeze in. Sooo delicious and deffo would come back. Highly recommend. Lovely toilets also!!

A wonderful, traditional Austrian restaurant in Berlin, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and fantastic service. The Wiener Schnitzel is spot-on—light, crisp, and puffed up perfectly—exactly how it should be. The Apfelstrudel is also excellent, with a flaky pastry and just the right level of sweetness. If you’re after classic Austrian food done well, Ottenthal is a great choice. The team really knows their craft, and the service makes the whole experience feel extra special.

Business dinner with 20 people in the heart of Berlin Ku’damm area, nice choice of French Bordeaux and sancerre, a light appetizer followed by either the perfectly cooked venison or risotto, immaculate finish loaded with multicolored antioxidants I gradients, dessert was tiny but yummy. A quick lunch with work colleagues and my first visit. On arrival the first impression is a friendly, comfortable, nicely appointed, relaxed and non pretentious. All staff were super friendly and helpful adding to the experience. The business lunch had a small but diverse selection of options and I cannot fault anything and neither could my two colleagues. Fantastic across the board. Will be back on my next trip. Thank you.

Traditional German food at its finest. The wait staff was so helpful with recommendations for both beer and food. Their suggestions were perfect! We were full but made room for apple strudel with ice cream and whipped cream... I would highly suggest you do the same. Look it up on Google maps as it is slightly off the beaten path in Berlin.

Although it's located in the touristy area near Ku'damm, this place oozes authentic German vibes. The service is extremely friendly (they speak English) and took care of me while I waited for my date to arrive. We got a Pfefferlinge soup to start (tasty!) and my date also got a Goulash soup as her main, which she reported was also delicious. I ordered the Schnitzel as my entree of course, and when they brought it out, the waitress noted how small it was and brought me a whole other cut for free! How nice is that?! The Schnitzel itself was good and comes with Preiselbeeren and a vinegar-based potato salad, which I liked a lot. We were tempted to get dessert, but sadly the only traditional option they have is the Apfelstrudel, which I'm not super fond of. But overall, I really liked this one! With the super friendly service in a convenient area and a solid menu, I can definitely see myself coming back for more. Maybe I'll see you there! Prost!

It's everything you expect from a German department store: good/average quality products at very good prices, varied offer. Ideal to waste 2-3 hours when the weather is bad. I never miss it when I come to Berlin.

Really good place with delicious food. Had a surf and turf with Primitovo - really good food. Helpful service, but the menu could be in english. During the dinner someone had birthday so they brought a cake and candles.

I can't say enough about this restaurant. It's absolutely top notch on every level, down to picking up your coat before you sit at your table as and bringing a purse 👛 hook 🪝 to the table for your convenience. The flavors are carefully paired in every course. The atmosphere is warm, luxury and inviting. The Italian speaking friendly waitstaff bring authenticity to the beauty and of this restaurant gem. We were dining with our USA friends, their 1st time in Berlin. They were raving about the restaurant and were beyond grateful for the introduction to Nuovo Mario!! She said it was the best salmon she ever had!!

Had a fantastic company dinner there tonight. Service was great and gold incredible! It’s the best salmon pasta I ever had. I really enjoyed the chunks of salmon and the scallions inside and the sauce was excellent. We had a fantastic evening with my colleagues. I appreciated how you can tal and hear eachother and at the same time you don’t hear the other tables. We didn’t have room for the desert but the sabayon desert really looked exceptional!

We ordered a Käsespätzle, but we got pasta with tomato and walnuts instead — definitely not what we ordered. Nobody told us that they didn’t have the right ingredients, which was really disappointing. We were looking forward to trying the real dish, so it was quite a letdown. We’re attaching a photo — you can judge for yourselves if this looks like a Käsespätzle or not.

⭐⭐⭐½ / 5 We visited Alt-Berliner Biersalon on the day of the Berlin Marathon and couldn’t have chosen a better spot to sit. The restaurant is centrally located with a great view of the lively street life. We enjoyed cold beer, a glass of wine, and some warm tacos – all tasty and relaxed. The atmosphere was vibrant and authentic, and the location makes it a great place to take a break and soak up Berlin. Overall, a good experience

Everytime we passed by the restaurant is always crowded so we got curios and tried it out. Food: The schnitzel was delicious! Crispy coating with tender, moist meat underneath. Probably the best schnitzel I have ever had. Service: Friendly staff. Serving was very quick. Atmosphere: Very big restaurant and since the outside seating is famous during the summer, the inside was a bit dark. We sat inside to avoid smokers while eating.

A good place for watching football. Food was just decent and the servings were large. Good selection of beers as well. The service from the young waitresses was excellent, given the crowds that were in. Prices are in keeping with the location. Overall a good experience and I would visit again.

The Khee Mao noodles were undercooked (rubbery) and everything was too salty. The portions are ridiculous. For 17-19 € a plate, you shouldn't have to share one individual portion of rice among everyone at the table. There were 3 of us adults trying to stretch a fistful-sized portion of rice. I've never had that experience in a Thai restaurant. The portions should more or less match what you pay. Plus they served warm water with no refills. Typical Berlin table service, but not typical Berlin prices. You used to be able to eat well in this city for a third of the price. After we left, we were still hungry.

I love this restaurant! Beautiful decor and ambience, amazing robust menu, and the food was delicious! My only complaint is that it was a bit heavy on the salt for my taste, but otherwise this is a new favorite restaurant in Berlin for me

Very nice Thai food not far from Ka De We. Prices as expected for the location and for how much we ordered. The homemade Peanut sauce was really tasty with the skewers. The Pad Thai Noodles were also really good. The staff were efficient but not full of smiles and would not let us spend less than a €10 euro on card. Language barrier was a problem as my friends food turned up with bean sprouts despite asking for it to be without.

We stopped by the restaurant before heading to the rooftop. The interior design is incredible, which got us excited, hoping that the food would match the decor. We opted to sit outside, but the first disappointment was the cheap metal chairs with barely any cushion—30 minutes in, I wanted to leave. My cod arrived, along with a side of rice. The marinated salad was quite unpleasant, and the rice had an odd taste, like plain rice cooked in a dirty pot. The fish itself was just okay. For €45, I expected much better. My girlfriend's crunchy avocado salad, on the other hand, was pretty good. The service was very poor: dirty knives were not replaced, plates were not changed, service was slow, and the overall experience felt far from high class. Next, we had a reservation upstairs in the lounge. When we reserved, we were informed that the minimum spend was €120, which we figured was nothing between six people. However, after an hour and a couple of drinks, around 11 pm on a Thursday night, we wanted to go home, only to be told that the minimum spend was €120 per person, not per table. This felt like a scam, so be cautious about the lounge. Out of the four high-class places I visited in Berlin, this was by far the worst. Very disappointed, we ended up spending €150 in the restaurant and another €100 for just two drinks in the lounge due to the misleading €120 minimum.
