I went to celebrate my birthday and it was fantastic! They really pay attention to the details and make you feel really special! I highly recommend a visit to Hard Rock Cafe and be amazed by the food, the people, and the atmosphere.

Visited twice in the past week—once for a business dinner and once with a co-worker. We sat both indoors and outdoors, and the service was excellent on both occasions.
We actually returned specifically for the nachos and shrimp appetizer—they were that good.
Convenient central location makes it an easy choice.

Chicken fajitas were on the small side but tasted fine.
Server was very nice. Atmosphere was the normal HRC one, I would have liked the music a lot louder though.

I visited this place with my mother and a friend and though they were vegetarians...we found something to have.
The server was very very helpful with us wanting only vegetarian options and even though his English was broken he helped us out.
We had a good time here...visiting the shop as well and ended up having some chilled beer and loads of fun.

Great food and service! Everything tasted fresh and was hot! I had the chicken fajitas and they were delicious! The waiter (from Poland) kept checking on us constantly and was very nice! He even asked if we had any food allergies. The place is small & looks more like a diner but was cute!

A wonderful, traditional Austrian restaurant in Berlin, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and fantastic service. The Wiener Schnitzel is spot-on—light, crisp, and puffed up perfectly—exactly how it should be. The Apfelstrudel is also excellent, with a flaky pastry and just the right level of sweetness.
If you’re after classic Austrian food done well, Ottenthal is a great choice. The team really knows their craft, and the service makes the whole experience feel extra special.

I really enjoyed this place, the atmosphere is really nice and the staff were very kind and helpful and spoke English. I think this would make a very cute date spot. I love that they make an effort to avoid using plastics and aluminum in their kitchen (mentioned in menu). The food was delicious and you could tell they used high quality ingredients. The portions were generous, as an American, I was stuffed! The cost was very reasonable and they take cards. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in Berlin.

It was the best Wiener Schnitzel I’ve ever had. My German husband is still talking about how it was the best :) It’s probably the best Schnitzel you can find in Berlin. I also loved that you could choose between a small and regular size, for me small size was enough. The potato salad served on the side was perfect as well. The other dishes looked great—we had a pancake dessert with homemade jam. It was quite sweet, but the buttery taste perfectly filled the remaining space in our stomachs.

Excellent Austrian restaurant. Very nice atmosphere and service from the staff. Spotlessly clean place. The schnitzel was really amazing and that was the reason we went. Everything we ate was very tasty and well prepared. The variety of ice creams at the end also very tasty. The cost is relatively high but it is proportional to the quality.

Ottenthal was a wonderful dining experience for our whole family. The food was absolutely excellent — Austrian family members commented it was the best schnitzel outside Austria :). The Tafelspitz was tender and delicious, and the palatschinken were tops. The service was so warm and attentive — this was top notch and I’d love to return when next in Berlin.

A quick lunch with work colleagues and my first visit. On arrival the first impression is a friendly, comfortable, nicely appointed, relaxed and non pretentious. All staff were super friendly and helpful adding to the experience. The business lunch had a small but diverse selection of options and I cannot fault anything and neither could my two colleagues. Fantastic across the board. Will be back on my next trip. Thank you.

Stopped for drinks and oysters for Bday lunch.
Worth it, good variety and selection oysters to choose from (size/salt).
Chucked to order, good wine pairings and oyster accompaniments that are more BERLIN local as opposed to North American style wine vinegar and Tabasco.

Beyond their renowned oysters, Diekmann offers delightful seasonal lunches and dinners. Tucked away just steps from the vibrant Ku'damm, it’s one of my absolute faves in Charlottenburg.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Diekmann, and it was an experience to remember. This restaurant offers a signature cuisine that truly stands out, with each dish crafted to perfection. The menu is small, but it works in their favor, ensuring that every option is of the highest quality. Each dish was delicious, leaving me eager to try everything on future visits.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a foodie or just looking for a great meal, Diekmann is definitely worth a visit

İt's not easy to find food and service worth the price in this city. But Diekmann is a big exception. İt's the first time here, having lived close by for the last three years but it won't be the last. The food was exceptional. Everything was well seasoned and presented. The service was also great. Something else I also value that they did is that there was a pleasant amount of time between courses. Nothing was rushed. We have tried: oysters, ravioli, Lupe de Mare and the pulpo. Plus the white asparagus. Very happy. No complaints.

The authentic decorations really set a wonderful atmosphere at this restaurant. Their gulassup was absolutely delicious - so good that I couldn't help coming back the very next day for another serving! Definitely a place worth visiting if you're looking for both charm and great food.

Oh my! The food and service were impeccable, delicious German sausages and beer. Looking forward to trying some of the other dishes on the menu in the future.

The price-to-portion ratio wasn’t the best—too pricey for what we got. I brought my friend, who was visiting, to try German food after our first choice was fully booked and required a reservation. The food was okay; my friend had the bratwurst, and I had the Königsberger Klopse. The portions could have been better, and while the taste was decent, it wasn’t particularly memorable.
Simon - 3 months ago
Beautiful German atmosphere with excellent and kind service. The food was great, the portions were big, totally worth it for the price which is just slightly a bit on the higher end. They often give things "on the house" and agreed on making smaller portions on demand or pack the remaining food for a takeaway. Beer was excellent too. Highly recommend having a lunch there, as it may be full in the evening.

It's everything you expect from a German department store: good/average quality products at very advantageous prices, varied offer. Ideal to lose 2-3 hours when the weather is bad. I never miss it when I come to Berlin.

Hopefully this department store with its friendly staff and diverse offering will remain with us. The food department with its eating and drinking options is also inviting. Then relaxation is the order of the day.

We wanted something good to eat before seeing a very long film. We also didn't have too much time. The service was very efficient and friendly. Both of our main courses were excellent, and the open wine was very well selected. That atmosphere was fancy, but not stiff or unfriendly. Will happily return with a little more time

Quality Italian meal in a beautiful setting with friendly service.
The menu is large and features many great pasta, beef and fish options, and a nice selection of wine to compliment each type of dish. I also recommend the outdoor seating area when the weather allows is nice.

As advertised, the schnitzel was great... Super crunchy outside, tender inside, delicious mushroom sauce. Also had the goulasch which was great for dipping the soft bread. Add a couple draft beers and voila! Service was fine as well, I'm just stingy with my stars 🙄😁. Atmosphere was a little dark, but very cozy. Would definitely return.
Dave Whitney - 6 months ago
Traditional beer salon/room, in German style. You can enjoy a drink and a meal while enjoying top football. The food is not top class, and the service is partly cold and dull. If you are looking for a quiet place to eat or socialize, this is not the place.
Jii Aalto - 5 months ago
Everytime we passed by the restaurant is always crowded so we got curios and tried it out.
Food: The schnitzel was delicious! Crispy coating with tender, moist meat underneath. Probably the best schnitzel I have ever had.
Service: Friendly staff. Serving was very quick.
Atmosphere: Very big restaurant and since the outside seating is famous during the summer, the inside was a bit dark. We sat inside to avoid smokers while eating.
Joy Gumbsch - 10 months ago
It is a beer salon and not a restaurant. The live music on Saturday was super entertaining. The local draft beer is a must and the service was excellent.
Ersan Engin - 2 months ago
My daughter and I went in and didn't know what to expect, the staff were friendly, the food was nice and traditional and the atmosphere was fun. The football was on and we had a good time. The locals were friendly. It's not a posh place, and you may find better but we loved it there.

Very nice Thai food not far from Ka De We. Prices as expected for the location and for how much we ordered. The homemade Peanut sauce was really tasty with the skewers. The Pad Thai Noodles were also really good. The staff were efficient but not full of smiles and would not let us spend less than a €10 euro on card. Language barrier was a problem as my friends food turned up with bean sprouts despite asking for it to be without.
Antony Ross - a year ago
Good food, fair prices. I’m a big fan of spicy food, and I think I finally found my match! Usually when I ask for spicy, I get medium, but here I got the Tom Yam soup so hot that I could barely finish it (and I even do challenges sometime!) The only 2 reasons I gave 4 stars is that the service tends to be on the slow side and I wish they had some more authentic Thai beverages. Otherwise, very nice.

Made a reservation easily online. Food was very good. Good portion. Nice selection of food and definitely a good selection of drinks. This restaurant completely exceeded my expectations in every way—location, food, and service were absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortlessly elegant yet welcoming.
The Grace Dessert Platter for Two is an absolute must-try! It’s worth every bite and perfect for sharing. Special mention goes to the cheesecake, which was simply out of this world—creamy, flavorful, and truly unforgettable.
The location itself is stunning, set within the elegant Hotel Zoo Berlin. The sophisticated atmosphere perfectly complements the dining experience. Just in front of the restaurant is a chic bar with great music, making it an ideal spot to grab a drink either before or after your meal. Definitely don’t miss it—it’s a wonderful addition to the evening.
Every detail, from the ambiance to the impeccable service, was executed flawlessly. I can’t wait to dine here again—it’s a place I would recommend without hesitation. Grace truly delivers a five-star experience!

We stopped by the restaurant before heading to the rooftop. The interior design is incredible, which got us excited, hoping that the food would match the decor. We opted to sit outside, but the first disappointment was the cheap metal chairs with barely any cushion—30 minutes in, I wanted to leave.
My cod arrived, along with a side of rice. The marinated salad was quite unpleasant, and the rice had an odd taste, like plain rice cooked in a dirty pot. The fish itself was just okay. For €45, I expected much better. My girlfriend's crunchy avocado salad, on the other hand, was pretty good.
The service was very poor: dirty knives were not replaced, plates were not changed, service was slow, and the overall experience felt far from high class.
Next, we had a reservation upstairs in the lounge. When we reserved, we were informed that the minimum spend was €120, which we figured was nothing between six people. However, after an hour and a couple of drinks, around 11 pm on a Thursday night, we wanted to go home, only to be told that the minimum spend was €120 per person, not per table. This felt like a scam, so be cautious about the lounge.
Out of the four high-class places I visited in Berlin, this was by far the worst. Very disappointed, we ended up spending €150 in the restaurant and another €100 for just two drinks in the lounge due to the misleading €120 minimum.
