I saw a location at the Main station in the morning and figured if I saw another one I would try for lunch. I have been eating currywurst for over twenty years and one of my goto places when in Germany. As both places had a long line figured it was good. Sadly for me the curry sauce tasted more like ketchup. The wurst was good but the sauce is what makes the dish. My fries were good but the mayo was bland. I have had better jarred curry sauce from Kaufland so not sure who is buying the sauce. There are some that will like this but having had different curry from all over Germany this missed the mark. The prepackaged in the store for me tastes better. The brotchen while does not look like much was good. I am used to a larger and more brown crusted brotchen but this was better than it looks. However, customer service was great and if that is what you are looking for this place has it just wish the sauce had more curry flavor and the mayo was not bland.

Came here as every time I walked past I saw a queue. Ordered currywurst here, have to say it was fairly average. It was nice, but I had high expectations based on the queue. But customer service was outstanding! Very cheerful bloke that served me. 5 star for customer service.
Phai Dip - 5 months ago
Maybe I’m unlucky since the place is mainly crowded ! But honestly, this was the worst of the worst. The so called German curry sausage was dry, tasteless, and nothing close to what it should be. If you’re looking for authentic currywurst, this is definitely not the place. Truly the worst worst ever.
Daan - 2 months ago
Good place nice both sausages cut up into pieces. suagsges and fries. Think they put too much ketchup but curry sauce was good. Fries very crispy had long
The long sausage was okay, served on bun with mustard.
The pork pieces in red sauce and onion were okay,

As Germans say, „kann man essen“.
Not expected too much, hadn’t disappointed too much.
Regular sausage, sauce like ketchup and curry.

If you are a hard core punk fan or looking for cheap beer, this might be the place for you. It is a bit tricky to find. It has a stage so I assume there is live music some days of the week. There is also a small and cosy biergarten.
We were there late in the afternoon, so It is hard to rate the atmosphere. I guess evening would have been better.
One odd thing was a couple who clearly had a LOT of amphetamine in their systems. The guy was running around like a ball in a pinball machine. His irratic behavior made people feel uneasy, but the barkeeper seemed to know him so he was left alone. It was not really threatening, but we could see a lot of other customers feeling uneasy.
I have no pictures from inside, because It was not allowed.
Anyway, if you love punk rock and don't mind a bit of odd behavior, this might be the place for you.

I bet they play great music when it’s not trivia night. Went for the pinball - it was nice to find a well maintained machine. Younger + older mix of humans.

Had a great time playing cards, drinking beer. Very good atmosphere and good music

The place looks so underground, just how I would imagine a pub in Berlin. I love the music playing inside, the people and the bartenders are really friendly, the beers are fairly priced and they're the best ones I had in Berlin. You can also play pool, foosball and pinball inside, it's a really good addition to the atmosphere
Xyrn - 4 months ago
This classic old-style pub in Berlin is a cool spot with a vibrant crowd. However, the loud music can make conversation a challenge, requiring you to practically scream. The tables could use some more attention as they are often left uncleared. The presence of billiards and table soccer is a plus, and the mix of middle-aged folks, bros, and punk individuals adds to the unique atmosphere. The bar itself is good, and the beer is both nice and reasonably priced. Just be prepared for the high volume of the music, and don't expect a quick game of billiards, as the queue can get quite long!

Mustafa’s Gemüse Kebap is probably the most famous döner spot in Berlin. The Durum is tasty packed with grilled vegetables, fresh salad, and flavorful sauces. The portions are generous and filling. The main downside is the long waiting time; lines can easily stretch 30–60 minutes, especially in the evenings. It’s worth trying once for the experience, but if you don’t like waiting, there are plenty of good alternatives around the city.
Hasham Qazi - 3 months ago
It’s one of the most famous Döner shops in Berlin - and when you try it.l, it’s easy to see why. They’ve kept up the quality over the years. I first had their döner 8 years ago and it was still so good today 😊
Must have. You can usually find a spot outside to sit and enjoy it.
Karan Tibdewal - 3 months ago
One of the very best Döner I had ever had since settling down in Berlin. Though we have to be patient enough in a Q, its really worth the hype. You would be lucky if you are to have a smaller Q. The way they make the Kebap, the extra care they show in placing the right amount of ingredients is something new. Döner is really delicious and love every juicy bite.
Adi Adil - 3 months ago
When the line was only 8 people - we had to join and try this amazing food!
Very fresh, grilled veggies are so good - had potatoes and even eggplant in the mix. Chicken was not dry but very juicy and purely delicious!
Would definitely eat it again!
They do take credit cards too.
Irena Nowak - 4 months ago
We had a nice time standing in line for an hour and a half on Wednesday at lunchtime. The prices are slightly above average — about 10% higher — but still reasonable. The doner and dürüm were tasty, though nothing extraordinary. Each of us has a place near home that makes doner just as good. Still, it was really delicious. It was an interesting experience to try the most famous doner in Berlin. This place really lacks logistics and customer flow optimization, because the waiting time is way too long. That’s probably the only downside. I’m unlikely to come back because of the queue

Great hookah/shisha lounge, super friendly staff. The gentlemen who helped us were very kind through a slight language barrier, and made sure we were comfortable. Two stories, but they brought out chairs and a table for us to sit outside. Had a very good experience here for a late night smoke sesh.

We were very lucky to get a table on a busy Friday evening, thanks to some fantastic service. The team here really is brilliant!
The food was great, we ordered two pizzas (bresaola, funghi) a salad (insalata tonno) and a pasta dish (pappardelle al ragù), as well as some dessert (limoncello sorbet, tiramisù). We will be back!

Tempering my expectations is a lifetime endeavour. Just back from Torino, I had to judge this place based on Berlin standards. Those who know me will know that's an oxymoron to me. But hey, I came, I ate cleanly and left having eaten hand made, real food. That's an achievement in the par bake capital of the world (no joke, it makes Singapore look like regional France.) So, yeah, if you need a quick carbon fix at a decent price, it fits.

We had lunch here on a Sunday. The food was quite good. The restaurant was very full, with all tables inside and outside being completely occupied, which overwhelmed the staff. We waited a long time to get drinks and then the food. Apart from that, the staff was friendly and tried their best. We sat outside by the street, which was extremely loud as the restaurant is located on the cross section of main roads. Police cars, cars horning, etc. tainted the atmosphere.

We recently celebrated our daughter’s 4th birthday at Kindercafé Kreuzzwerg, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience for both kids and adults!
We booked the birthday package for 8 kids and had about 14 adults. The package cost €185, and adults could order anything from the café and simply put it on our bill — in total, we spent around €400. The value for what we received was absolutely worth it.
Although it wasn’t a private booking (there was another birthday group at the same time), we were lucky that it wasn’t too crowded that day, so everything still felt relaxed and enjoyable.
The birthday tables were already nicely decorated, and we added our own unicorn rainbow theme, which made our daughter really happy. The staff were kind and helpful throughout.
Included in the package were a marble cake, a fruit plate, and Margherita pizza — and honestly, the food was a pleasant surprise! It wasn’t just “kid-friendly” — even the adults really enjoyed the cake and pizza.
Not only did the kids have a great time playing, but the parents could also relax and enjoy good conversations in a stress-free environment.
We definitely recommend Kindercafé Kreuzzwerg if you're looking for a cozy, fun place to host an indoor birthday party!

I am pleasantly surprised by the newly renovated Kindercafé. It is clean, bright and has a variety of toys. Everything looks great! Prices are fair and considering all the facilities, I highly recommend it. We had a good time with a friend of mine and her baby. Service was quick and friendly! ❤️✨️

The best atmosphere for a kindercafe in Berlin i ever experienced. This place is really calming, unlike other loud, rowdy, stressy variants, here i felt almost like home and while the kids had a great time i could read and enjoy my drink. The food was also perfect, we all enjoyed then, prices are alright.

Amazing place! There should be more cafes like this. My son had the best time and I enjoyed delicious drinks and food. On Sundays they have a huge brunch offering. It’s not cheap but for what you get it’s worth paying a bit more than the usual. I have a lot of respect for the staff too who manage to dodge tiny people while carrying hot drinks and plates. I’m not sure why there are some negative reviews here, would you expect staff to constantly smile while working in such a loud and busy environment? They do very well. I will happily come back
Martha Boxley - 3 years ago
We went there with my child upon a friend’s recommendation, and we really liked it. The play area for kids is spacious. It was 32°C outside, so stepping into the café was a real relief — the inside was cool and airy. The staff were also very friendly. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

If you’re in Berlin and craving a proper kebab, skip the endless line at Mustafa’s and head straight to Yorker’s Kebab. This place is hands-down the best kebab I’ve had in the city—juicy, perfectly seasoned meat, fresh crisp veggies, and sauces that balance everything just right. Unlike the tourist traps, Yorker’s delivers fast, authentic quality without the wait. Whether you grab a dürüm or a classic döner, you’ll walk away satisfied and probably planning your next visit. Yorker’s is the true Berlin kebab experience.

A tasty kebap in Berlin. 100% recomended.
Braulio Larios (bullstrapkid) - 3 weeks ago
One of the better doners that I had in Europe! Very good classic doner. The only down side was that it was smaller than other doners I’ve had. I was use to getting a huge sandwich and this one was a bit smaller, but, the taste definitely made up for it! It’s a small place where we just walked up to the window to order. I’m not actually sure if you can dine in. So for that reason, I gave the atmosphere three stars.

Try to avoid this place. 10.5€ a kebab is definitely not worth it. Also, the desperados cost 4.5€ and all of them were expired

Our favorite restaurant in Berlin. We probably eat here 10 times per year. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, great food. The Lammhüfte in a creamy pepper sauce is my favorite, but I sometimes can't resist ordering the Fischplatte or Gyrosteller. The homemade Tzatziki is always our starter. And when they come back from their summer break, they bring with them Opa's Schnaps. Five stars is not enough!
Scott - 3 months ago
Very nice restaurant. Good food, big plates! The servants are very nice. Only downpoint is that there are a lot of people in one room so it can be very noisy. Very affordable (16,- for gyros and fries and 17,- for the oven plate with gyros and rice).
Overall good experience :)

I’ve often ordered food here from apps to eat home but this was the first time I went to the restaurant. My mum is in town and she loves Greek food and this was a certainty in term of tasty food. We were really pleased by the charming restaurant, big and comfortable chairs, and friendly staff. Our dinner wasn’t rushed, service was good. We had time to enjoy each dish. We got the aubergine dip (Melitzanosalata), the fried aubergines and courgettes with tzatziki (Tiganita), the meat soup. For mains we ordered the lamb chops — sooo good. Big portion and a lot of meat to work on, I loved them. Mum got a gyros plate, the meat was tender and juicy. Definitely recommended. Thank you Taverna Dionysos!!!

Was very much looking forward to eating here, it smelt amazing and the one staff member seemed very friendly, however he seemed very stretched and busy, serving the shop and all the restaurant customers. Also, we got there about 1 hour and 20 minutes before closing time to find most food sold out. We waited about 20 minutes to be served but left. I recommend if you are thinking of going, to get there before 19:00 on a Saturday night.

Incredibly delicious vegan dishes! Waiter was friendly, service was surprisingly quick given the many clients and single waiter. They play fun music to make for a good vibe. After a long day of exploring the streets, art, and hidden corners of Berlin, my friend and I stumbled upon this gem and instantly knew we’d found the perfect start to our night out. We were craving something a little indulgent, a little lively, and that’s exactly what we got with their espresso martinis.
The drinks themselves were absolute perfection. Smooth, rich, and expertly balanced, with just the right amount of espresso bitterness cutting through the sweetness. The creamy texture made each sip feel like a tiny celebration in a glass, and the three little coffee beans on top weren’t just decorative, they were the perfect accent to every sip. We were so impressed that we both ordered a second round immediately, and honestly, it didn’t disappoint.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Neither of us speak German fluently, but they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, double-checking our orders and even chatting with us despite the language barrier. It added such a warm, human touch to the whole evening.
The atmosphere itself was lively but cozy, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing while gearing up for the night ahead. We found ourselves laughing, sharing stories, and soaking in the energy of the place, all while enjoying one of the best espresso martinis either of us have ever had.
If you’re in Berlin and looking for perfect cocktails, an inviting vibe, and genuinely friendly service, this spot is a must. We left with happy hearts, caffeinated spirits, and a definite plan to return before we left the city. Truly an unforgettable start to a Berlin night.

Great atmosphere and drinks place! I wasn’t sure about the food and service… at first the staff forgot about our order so we sat with our drinks for 30mins, and drank on empty stomach. Then they let us know the order was forgotten, when we got the food I was confused because the fajitas and tacos were served same way, which I’m not used to. Then the server dropped food on my purse. While this is ok, this should not be the standard for service
However the drinks were fantastic, amaretto sour was absolutely delicious. Cosmo was a little too sweet but so well made. Will be back for cocktails and vibe

Really lovely place! The vibes are really cute, there was Spanish music playing most of the time - it was tasteful albeit not original! The food was also very nice and came extremely fast! The seating is comfortable with diversity of options - the space is really big!
Amazing value for money
Last but not least, the staff are so sweet, they offered free shots after we paid! I definitely recommend this experience.
Extra note: the bathroom was very clean!
Hunadah Alhariri - a year ago
Disappointing. Aside from the names of a few Mexican dishes, it has nothing to do with authentic Mexican cuisine. The flavors are bland, the dishes don’t follow traditional recipes, and the atmosphere doesn’t convey the true vibe of a Mexican restaurant.
As for the service, the experience was just as unprofessional: slow, inattentive, and with very little engagement from the staff.
I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a genuinely Mexican experience.
