Came here as every time I walked past I saw a queue. Ordered currywurst here, have to say it was fairly average. It was nice, but I had high expectations based on the queue. But customer service was outstanding! Very cheerful bloke that served me. 5 star for customer service.

Better to eat here than in center. The portion is much bigger and tastier. For 5 euro definitely recommend!

The sausages and the curry sauce are great, but the chips very often could do better. They're either a bit "wobbly" or a bit burnt.
The staff are usually friendly even in hectic situations.
The atmosphere is... You're right in the middle of an overcrowded pavement with beggars uncompromisingly asking for change or food. Expect annoyingly long queues.

No crazy sausage, sauces good, fries crispy. A tasty snack to go further into town, but no revalue.
Adam Zieliński - 4 weeks ago
This place is right around the corner of our airbnb, and currywurst is on our Berlin food bucket list. I half jokingly call this fate. The atmosphere is a little rundown but honestly it adds to the charm. The currywurst, fries with mayo, schnitzel and chicken nuggets were tasty. I would visit again, and I would like to visit somewhat inebriated next time because I feel like it would be even better. 10/10 would recommend, even sober.

If you are a hard core punk fan or looking for cheap beer, this might be the place for you. It is a bit tricky to find. It has a stage so I assume there is live music some days of the week. There is also a small and cosy biergarten.
We were there late in the afternoon, so It is hard to rate the atmosphere. I guess evening would have been better.
One odd thing was a couple who clearly had a LOT of amphetamine in their systems. The guy was running around like a ball in a pinball machine. His irratic behavior made people feel uneasy, but the barkeeper seemed to know him so he was left alone. It was not really threatening, but we could see a lot of other customers feeling uneasy.
I have no pictures from inside, because It was not allowed.
Anyway, if you love punk rock and don't mind a bit of odd behavior, this might be the place for you.

The place looks so underground, just how I would imagine a pub in Berlin. I love the music playing inside, the people and the bartenders are really friendly, the beers are fairly priced and they're the best ones I had in Berlin. You can also play pool, foosball and pinball inside, it's a really good addition to the atmosphere

Great bar, hidden away off the main street. Punky vibe, no photos allowed inside, don't really understand why.
Decent beer selection, outside terrace as well as a cavernous interior. Worth hunting out.

If you want to experience real Berlin bars, you should visit Clash. It’s an authentic and unique place with Berlin vibes. There are nice and still cheap beers, table tennis and good music.

When the line was only 8 people - we had to join and try this amazing food!
Very fresh, grilled veggies are so good - had potatoes and even eggplant in the mix. Chicken was not dry but very juicy and purely delicious!
Would definitely eat it again!
They do take credit cards too.

Patience is definitely required, but in return I was rewarded with the best kebab I have eaten until now. The staff puts great care in balancing the ingredients. It is also enjoyable to watch them make kebab once you actually get close enough to see it. If I ever return to Berlin, I wouldn't mind waiting in line again. It's worth it if you have time.
Patrik Glavan - a month ago
Been there a few times, I had always been lucky to having wait on line, not more than 30min; until this time … waited exactly 2 hours and 9 min. Thankfully quality never changed. It’s still the best kebab in Europe, well, depending on your tolerance level for waiting time. Still worth it lol
William Shim - a month ago
I have to admit, the kebab was probably the best I’ve ever had — full of flavor and really fresh. However, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. I waited in line for over an hour and 20 minutes, which is just way too long for street food.
For the €8 price, you only get the kebab — no fries, no drink, nothing included, which felt a bit steep. The guy who served me was really friendly, which I appreciated, but honestly, I wouldn't go through that wait again. Great taste, but not worth the time.
Álvaro Godino Ramos - a month ago
Staying in Berlin without trying one of the best kebabs in town… I couldn’t do that. 🙂
I was near Checkpoint Charlie and realised I was close to Mustafa’s one (I had a few other adresses in my pocket though).
So 1h15min of waiting is not nothing, I can give you that. Now all depends on how bad you want it hein 🤣
I stayed and the verdict is… 🥁
It’s totally worth it.
An excellent quality of chicken, slices are slim but juicy, savoury. The bread is amazing, it made this delicious “crunch” sound each time I bit in. Veggies - excellent, I would not have minded more aubergines but… chef’s choice after all. Mint and goat cheese in it, wow amazing. 🤩
I also appreciated the service. They are quick and it’s nice to see them relaxed and not nervous or speedy but rather smiling and cool.
I totally recommend.
PS don’t take a takeaway, eat it right there to have the better taste and for a better presentation of kebab 😉

Great hookah/shisha lounge, super friendly staff. The gentlemen who helped us were very kind through a slight language barrier, and made sure we were comfortable. Two stories, but they brought out chairs and a table for us to sit outside. Had a very good experience here for a late night smoke sesh.

We had lunch here on a Sunday. The food was quite good. The restaurant was very full, with all tables inside and outside being completely occupied, which overwhelmed the staff. We waited a long time to get drinks and then the food. Apart from that, the staff was friendly and tried their best. We sat outside by the street, which was extremely loud as the restaurant is located on the cross section of main roads. Police cars, cars horning, etc. tainted the atmosphere.

Tempering my expectations is a lifetime endeavour. Just back from Torino, I had to judge this place based on Berlin standards. Those who know me will know that's an oxymoron to me. But hey, I came, I ate cleanly and left having eaten hand made, real food. That's an achievement in the par bake capital of the world (no joke, it makes Singapore look like regional France.) So, yeah, if you need a quick carbon fix at a decent price, it fits.

It was pretty good but the food was a little bit too spicy. They have a very delicious bread with great olive oil. The staff was very nice and friendly.

I am pleasantly surprised by the newly renovated Kindercafé. It is clean, bright and has a variety of toys. Everything looks great! Prices are fair and considering all the facilities, I highly recommend it. We had a good time with a friend of mine and her baby. Service was quick and friendly! ❤️✨️

We went there with my child upon a friend’s recommendation, and we really liked it. The play area for kids is spacious. It was 32°C outside, so stepping into the café was a real relief — the inside was cool and airy. The staff were also very friendly. I definitely recommend it to everyone.
Mirmesud ABBASOV - 2 months ago
Food is fairly basic but good enough for snacks whilst visiting ( don't expect a hearty meal by any means ) good place for the kids, only one staff member on hand for food and service so can get bit chaotic at peak times, but would definitely come back again, only main critique is that more sofas / comfortable seating would make this place ideal. Note that no buggys inside so plan ahead if having a small one :)
Natalie - 3 months ago
I’ve visited many Kindercafés, and this one stands out for its spacious layout and variety of playrooms. There’s plenty of space for kids to explore, and the different play areas keep them engaged for a long time. I’ve been here twice with my child, and we both had a great time. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, making it a perfect spot for parents to relax while kids play. The café offers a good selection of food and drinks. I’d definitely love to come back again!

Amazing place! There should be more cafes like this. My son had the best time and I enjoyed delicious drinks and food. On Sundays they have a huge brunch offering. It’s not cheap but for what you get it’s worth paying a bit more than the usual. I have a lot of respect for the staff too who manage to dodge tiny people while carrying hot drinks and plates. I’m not sure why there are some negative reviews here, would you expect staff to constantly smile while working in such a loud and busy environment? They do very well. I will happily come back

One of the better doners that I had in Europe! Very good classic doner. The only down side was that it was smaller than other doners I’ve had. I was use to getting a huge sandwich and this one was a bit smaller, but, the taste definitely made up for it! It’s a small place where we just walked up to the window to order. I’m not actually sure if you can dine in. So for that reason, I gave the atmosphere three stars.

If you’re in Berlin and craving a proper kebab, skip the endless line at Mustafa’s and head straight to Yorker’s Kebab. This place is hands-down the best kebab I’ve had in the city—juicy, perfectly seasoned meat, fresh crisp veggies, and sauces that balance everything just right. Unlike the tourist traps, Yorker’s delivers fast, authentic quality without the wait. Whether you grab a dürüm or a classic döner, you’ll walk away satisfied and probably planning your next visit. Yorker’s is the true Berlin kebab experience.

Second visit, overall nice, the roasted veggies with carrots is a nice touch. Bread was good, meat isn’t greasy, will relate anyone I’m in town
Christopher Sherman - 3 months ago
Try to avoid this place. 10.5€ a kebab is definitely not worth it. Also, the desperados cost 4.5€ and all of them were expired
Carlos - a month ago
Disappointed with my experience this time. The bread was barely toasted, the meat was extremely greasy, and the overall flavor was lacking. I couldn’t even finish it. I was also charged 8€ with the cheese on top — it’s the first time they made me pay for it — and they even tried to charge me twice.

Our favorite restaurant in Berlin. We probably eat here 10 times per year. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, great food. The Lammhüfte in a creamy pepper sauce is my favorite, but I sometimes can't resist ordering the Fischplatte or Gyrosteller. The homemade Tzatziki is always our starter. And when they come back from their summer break, they bring with them Opa's Schnaps. Five stars is not enough!

Very nice restaurant. Good food, big plates! The servants are very nice. Only downpoint is that there are a lot of people in one room so it can be very noisy. Very affordable (16,- for gyros and fries and 17,- for the oven plate with gyros and rice).
Overall good experience :)

I’ve often ordered food here from apps to eat home but this was the first time I went to the restaurant. My mum is in town and she loves Greek food and this was a certainty in term of tasty food. We were really pleased by the charming restaurant, big and comfortable chairs, and friendly staff. Our dinner wasn’t rushed, service was good. We had time to enjoy each dish. We got the aubergine dip (Melitzanosalata), the fried aubergines and courgettes with tzatziki (Tiganita), the meat soup. For mains we ordered the lamb chops — sooo good. Big portion and a lot of meat to work on, I loved them. Mum got a gyros plate, the meat was tender and juicy. Definitely recommended. Thank you Taverna Dionysos!!!

Incredibly delicious vegan dishes! Waiter was friendly, service was surprisingly quick given the many clients and single waiter. They play fun music to make for a good vibe. I wasn't expecting much of this place. But I ended up very impressed and happy with the service and the food. They have amazing, huge, filling vegan thalis. Also comes with a little yummy dessert! And the price is excellent for what you get.
On top of that, they sell a wide range of south Asian food produce, at good prices.

Great atmosphere and drinks place! I wasn’t sure about the food and service… at first the staff forgot about our order so we sat with our drinks for 30mins, and drank on empty stomach. Then they let us know the order was forgotten, when we got the food I was confused because the fajitas and tacos were served same way, which I’m not used to. Then the server dropped food on my purse. While this is ok, this should not be the standard for service
However the drinks were fantastic, amaretto sour was absolutely delicious. Cosmo was a little too sweet but so well made. Will be back for cocktails and vibe

Really lovely place! The vibes are really cute, there was Spanish music playing most of the time - it was tasteful albeit not original! The food was also very nice and came extremely fast! The seating is comfortable with diversity of options - the space is really big!
Amazing value for money
Last but not least, the staff are so sweet, they offered free shots after we paid! I definitely recommend this experience.
Extra note: the bathroom was very clean!

Was there last evening. Honestly the best Mexican food i have eaten in a long time.
It was perfectly spiced and fresh.
Ordered a mango daiquiri and it was absolutely delightful fruity cold and a perfect drink on a hot summer evening.
The service was brilliant. our server was very prompt, kind and friendly.
Will definitely come back to try more stuff again next time.

Fine for a beer, but the chips and salsa are profoundly disappointing to me as a native of Southern California. But that's an incredibly high bar that a chain restaurant on a different continent isn't trying to hit.
John K. Lunde - in the last week
We visited on a very quiet Sunday evening and specifically chose this place based on its high rating on Google. The food, although not totally authentic was close enough and was very tasty!
There were only three groups in the restaurant, us included. The setting was dark and intimate although we did struggle reading the menu. The food portion sizes are enormous! The cocktails were very good.
We paid with through card and although the waiter was a little deflated when we asked, they were happy with this. We asked if we could put a tip on but they don’t seem to get the tip if it’s on a card so we handed over a couple of notes. He really worked hard for us together with his fellow waiters.
I’d say go for it!
