At first glance, it seems like a tourist trap, and the area also gives that impression, but the food was very tasty, the service was good, and they speak English here. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Stumbled across this place on foot and we were craving some Asian. Came in and let us seat outside. Ordered Peking duck which is pricy but recommended. Also got the chili wontons which was delicious. Services was quick and friendly. Good location.

Tried chicken fried rice and taiwanese chicken noodles . Both are very tasty and perfect flavors. Nice ambiance.

Bright and cheery restaurant with lots of light. Food is well prepared and delicious and the portions are large.The eggplant vegetarian appetizer is as good as anything, with great textures and flavors.

Really lovely sushi here on our trip to Berlin. Myself and my partner returned a second time during our visit because of how nice the food and the staff were. We complimented a dish and were brought out two complimentary rolls made just for us. We couldn’t have asked for better service here and it truly made our experience in Berlin. We hope to visit again soon. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere and music were lovely too.

Nice concept of sushi running around. However, the quality is super bad. It’s a lot of rice, everything tastes the same. Also you are asked to buy min 1 drink, so overall experience is very expensive.

The kaiten sushi comes with a well-balanced rotation and very good quality. The Argentinian beef was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The fruit juices are well-chosen and chilled. The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere with a variety of seating arrangements. The service is very professional. We highly recommend it.

We went for All-you-can-eat option and, honestly, not worth the price. 26 euros + a mandatory drink for person can amount to much better quality in the area. The sushi were mushy, monotonous and very basic, rice wasn’t properly boiled and didn’t feel fresh. Too many rolls were with surimi, because why not :) There was no salads/edamame/starter options on the trail whatsoever, so for a variety also big - The concept is meditative though, looking at them move was much more enjoyable than eating 🙂

I really loved the chicken Korma I got. It was juicy and flavorful. The portions were big. I saw reviews and I know I am a white lady but I do eat Indian food often. I really enjoyed it.

Came here for Iftar starving because I was too tired to cook, picked it at complete random. Halal-certified and wow, wasn’t expecting it to be this good Edit: I ordered the coconut curry chicken and got the buhna (?!) chicken as well, courtesy of the staff as I had a hard time choosing! Forgot to mention the generous service as well

The personnel was nice but the food was mid and barely any chicken in my plate while the dish was about chicken (it was 10 euro). Very expensive rice plate.

I’m not at all familiar with Lebanese food, but I stumbled upon this place in the food court and decided to give it a try — and I’m so glad I did. The tabbouleh was incredibly fresh and bright, the meat was perfectly seasoned and tender, and both the hummus and the green dip were absolutely amazing. I cleared the entire plate without even trying. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something flavorful, generous, and satisfying.

Fantastic food it’s so fresh and you can tell the owners really take pride. I had rice and chicken Shawarma which were gluten free and a mango honey smoothie which was fantastic. Lots of options for those who are not gluten free too!

Honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had, ate here multiple times before returning to the States. The staff was wonderful and the food was all fresh, highly recommend their food if you want a taste of U.S. cuisine and just overall fresh food.

Limited menu but decent options with great taste. Service was also very quick and fresh burgers prepared and served within 10 minutes. Price-wise found them to be very good too. A single burger for around 7€ and menu around 11-12€. Patties used were good, but a bit more sauce would be good. Fries were amazing.

My experience at Pizza Hut was quite average. The service was adequate, but nothing remarkable. The pizza itself was decent, but nothing outstanding in terms of flavor or quality. The crust was okay, but lacked that desirable crispiness. The toppings were standard, without any unique or memorable combinations. The atmosphere in the restaurant was typical for a fast-food chain, with a casual and bustling vibe. The cashier did try to sell me more than required. Overall, it was an average dining experience, suitable for a quick and convenient meal, but not something I would rave about or go out of my way to visit again.

It is good that we have such American style pizzas here in Berlin, that are definitely yummy and thick. One problem of many Pizza sellers/pizzerias in Germany is that they charge extra costs for sauce or adding ketchup on the pizzas!! It does never make sense as the sauce or dressings are free in many countries or included in the food.

A very convenient and somewhat hidden neighborhood canteen: for two people, it cost €17 for two courses and two drinks. It's mainly frequented by local employees (the Federal Ministry is in the next building), but it's also ideal for visitors on a budget. Three main courses are available at lunchtime, and there's a small salad bar.

A canteen that only got a new operator in 2024. Unfortunately, the prices are somewhat higher than at other canteens in the area. The food preparation is also rather average. The meatballs with Balkan-style sauce were nothing more than frozen gypsy dumplings. Hardly anything is cooked fresh here. The staff changes frequently, but is usually quite friendly. The canteen is used by employees of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, but can also be accessed by anyone from outside. Ministry employees receive a small discount. Otherwise, the canteen makes a clean impression from the outside. However, I've tried several different dishes now and haven't really been impressed. Even though there are four different dishes daily, one of them is soup. My conclusion: you can eat here, but you don't have to. It's sufficient if you need a hot meal in a pinch.

I'm a bit shocked that all the applications from the previous owner, Intermezzo, have now been merged???? That's not right and it's misleading for customers! Not fair. Well, I can't agree with Mr. Gr.! I'm there regularly during my break and have to ask for smaller portions (for pasta and rice), and the prices are reasonable, like lunch specials everywhere...fish and meat dishes are 7-8 euros. Anyone can see for themselves. Some people are just not fair in their reviews...sad. It's a nice canteen with a café atmosphere...that's the impression of me and my colleagues from the company next door 😉 Google doesn't make it easy to update! Intermezzo-Berlin has been permanently closed since the end of 2023!!!! The current canteen has a different name! Maybe someone could change that.

One of the best steaks restaurants in Berlin with great variety of regular and dry aged meat. Halal too which is amazing ✨ Service can however be warmer, I gave a 10 euro tip to the server and he was still not happy. He tried to force me to tip 30% through the machine which is crazy 😆

Really nice place, not a lot of people at the time i visited. Customer service is really nice, attentive and accommodating. The food i ordered was really tasty, the meat was soft and well seasoned. The wine was really good as well. Although the prices were a bit on the high side, it's understandable due to the area being located and the quality/cut of the meat. I can see myself returning here.

A great piece of meat… but a bitter aftertaste. We booked a table for 5 at Beef GrillClub, a Berlin steakhouse with quite a solid reputation and clearly positioned in the “high-end” price range. From the very start, disappointment set in: no real sense of welcome or personalization. We were seated hastily, with two tables quickly pushed together — without even checking the name on our reservation. The tone was set. The meal started with a few mishaps: a corked bottle of wine (it happens), quickly replaced. But when it came to the food, the starters were sadly bland: a tasteless carpaccio, a flat vitello tonnato, parmesan lacking any character… and table salt only — quite surprising for a steakhouse aiming for this level. As for the meat, credit where it’s due: the cooking was perfect, and the products were high quality. But beware: here, everything comes at an extra cost. Want a side dish? Expect to pay between €5 and €10. Fancy a sauce with your steak? That’ll be an additional €3 to €5. At this point, the experience starts to feel dangerously close to a Ryanair-style restaurant menu. To make things worse, their water policy is highly questionable: tap water is mysteriously “unavailable,” bottles are emptied without asking just to encourage you to order more, and the staff oscillates between cold indifference and irritation when you don’t follow their consumption script. The grand finale was almost comical: no printed bill at the table, just a card machine showing pre-selected tips starting at 15%. When I asked to see the detailed bill, it was shown to me reluctantly, before the machine reappeared immediately. Declining to leave a tip (given the service) seemed to trigger visible annoyance: the receipt was practically thrown on the table, and we left without a single thank you or goodbye. In short: yes, the meat is good. But that’s the bare minimum for a steakhouse charging these prices. Everything else — the service, the pushy commercial strategy, the complete lack of warmth — completely ruined the experience. You leave feeling less like a guest… and more like a walking wallet. I wouldn’t recommend it — unless, unlike me, you believe that good food should come without any notion of hospitality.

Visited here on 19/01/2026. 10/10 recommend if you wanna try local German dishes and beer. You've got to wait at the door to be seated at first. It was a Monday and thankfully they had free places because I didn't have a reservation. The staff is friendly. Dishes are big and very filling. Place is cozy and nicely decorated. I really liked the vibes. There are variety of tables so you can fit as a big group or a solo traveller.

We loved this place so much that we visited it twice during our stay in Berlin! The first time was by chance, but the second was a conscious choice because the food was simply too good to miss. However, the best part was the incredible honesty and helpfulness of the staff. We accidentally left two bags of souvenirs under our table and only realized it after we had already returned to Italy. We contacted them, and they were amazing: they found our bags, kept them safe, and patiently cooperated with us to organize a courier pickup. It’s rare to find such integrity and kindness. If you are looking for great traditional food and a team you can truly trust, this is the place to go. Thank you again!!

We had a great experience as tourists looking for a typical German restaurant with high-quality food. We were a group of four people and were comfortably seated and very well attended by the waitress. The food is wonderful and generously served. I definitely recommend it.

Service was great and the fastest. 5 minutes after ordering my Schweins Hax it was being served! Schweins Hax the pork was really crispy and juicy. The sauerkraut that I'm normally not the biggest fan was cooked to perfection. To finish the Apfelstrudel was cruncy, warm, as it shoukd be, perfect combination with the cold icecream.

We loved it! Run by Italians, and you can taste it in food. We had pizza bufala and it was really tasty. The sauce had a lovely, a bit deeper, “as it should be” flavour, no cheap replacements. You could say the same about other ingredients - thank God for Italians and their seriousness about quality of ingredients. The staff were warm and lovely.

If you’re looking for an authentic Italian place in Berlin, this is definitely the right spot. It’s exactly what you imagine a small Italian restaurant to be: cozy, charming, with just a few tables and a lovely Italian chef preparing genuine food with Italian ingredients. There are only two people running the place, so the food can take a little longer, which is completely understandable. But it’s worth it — it really feels like a little corner of Italy, something you probably won’t find everywhere in Berlin. Highly recommended!
