The service is attentive, yet light and not overly serious. The food is delicious. Evidently, the steaks are their best menu items. Came my last night in Berlin to have a nice dining experience. The food was nice and it was served in good timing. Would reccomend. The only thing is that I came with my partner who speaks German but I don’t and they didn’t adapt.

We dined here for the first time based on recommendations from friends and they were not wrong - what a great place. The service is great, the staff is actually very friendly, and professional throughout. We tried bone in NY strip, ribeyes and filets and all were cooked exactly like we asked for. The menu is great, many options, also on the appetizer side. Book well in advance - this place is popular!

i come here a lot and just noticed ive never left a review this is one of my favourite indian spots in the city! they have several locations but i think this one is my favourite their vegan/vegetarian selection is fantastic and every dish is well rounded in flavour i also think everything always looks very pretty, they make all of the dishes look very appetising :) my favourite from back in the day when i discovered the place is no longer available but they have added new dishes over the years that i'm also very fond of the vegan butter chicken is life changing and i usually don't eat a lot of vegan meat substitutes, so this is high praise coming from me even my meat-eating friends love it i would also recommend the homemade ice tea on a hot summer's day and the sizzling brownie as a sweet treat :)

AMRIT in Berlin is hands down the BEST Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to – and I’ve tried quite a few around the world! The food is a solid 10/10: bursting with flavor, perfectly spiced, and so satisfying. Plus, the prices are super reasonable, which makes the experience even better. Service? Also a 10/10. Everything came out incredibly fast and the staff was friendly and efficient. A special shoutout to Dev, our server – he was absolutely amazing! Friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed with a smile. AMRIT ranks among the best restaurants I’ve ever visited. If you’re in Berlin don’t miss this place. Big up to Dev and the whole AMRIT team!

Lucky Star is a must-visit in Berlin! The dim sum are fresh and perfectly steamed, and the all-you-can-eat hot pot (€22.80 per person) is outstanding—tender meats, crisp veggies, and rich broths full of flavour. The staff are fantastic, the service is fabulous, and the value is unbeatable. Sadly we were only visiting, but if you’re staying central it’s absolutely worth it. We’ll be back next time we’re in Berlin.

First hot pot experience was successful. Fair prices for the (at least) 2 person hot pot and very delicious broths to choose from. We picked curry and hot chilli, which were both very tasty. Good accommodating service made for a great experience here

The staff deserves 10* and they were extremely attentive and helpful. Great hotpot that runs as a buffet that you can keep on ordering from the different options. So far the best hotpot in Berlin that is worth trying and returning. Credit card payments are possible and reservations are possible although not necessary

Food is very nice - especially the Dada platter which contains a little bit of everything. Friendly staff, fast service, no pressure to leave. Only minor point that may put some people off is their choice of music (electro with quite a beat).

Great vegetarian platter bursting with various flavors that all pair well with each other. You could eat the same platter 10 times and choose different orders and combinations of food and come out of it happy and full. Also, the falafel is fried to perfection and has a distinct taste of coriander seeds, which is great for my palate.

A very small and humble looking restaurant famous for its falafel. They had only outdoor seating at the moment. We were little late for lunch so were lucky to get a sitting place without wait. The service was quick and our wraps were ready very fast. However, the pitta falafel wrap were extremely tasty and full filling. They have very limited dishes, mostly vegetarian on menu. A must try restaurant for falafel in Berlin.

We were sweating in 30 degrees and the sun was baking on our fur. And as much as I like the kebab, there is no room in my stomach for meat in this heat. When I took the first bite of this sandwich with my shaky teeth, I immediately knew that it was a good decision and definitely not a mistake. Fresh ingredients and a little cheese as a meat substitute. Some part of the food should have lived in some form... the whole thing was prepared with joy, all good, thank you!

I had the pleasure of dining here in April of 2024. They were accommodating of my 6 year old son. He has joined me on many dining experiences and is very well behaved. The food was creative, and expressed amazing flavours. The wine pairings were fantastic I will definitely return.

We went here today as a treat for a special birthday and we couldn't have asked for better service and more delicious food. It was evident that every aspect of the dining experience had been considered. We would like to extend a special thanks to Falco, who was super responsive prior to arrival, and took the time to find out that it was a special occasion for us and arranged for a personalised menu. We had the 6 course menu with wine pairing mixed with non-alcoholic pairing, which featured seasonal ingredients such as wild garlic and rhubarb. Leeks and lamb also featured which, with us being from Wales, were appreciated. A genuine thank you for making this special occasion a memorable one.

Rutz takes such a different approach to food from other Michelin places, all in Bavaria, that I have been to on my current trip to Germany. They say that they are into preserving food and being sustainable. One of my waiters also told me that the kitchen is not into making anything sweet. The techniques that they use on their food are quite interesting, and that leads to a somewhat unique dining experience. For example, the usual table-side saucing is replaced by table-side sprinkling of freeze-dried sauce droplets. The flavors of each element in their dishes seem to be intense on their own, but are quite harmonious when experienced together. The food is borderline ingenious vs self serving. My favorite of the menu were the bitter salad and the kohlrabi. The caviar can be skipped; even though, the Berlin royal caviar is quite different from the Thomas Keller one that I am used to in California. Oh, and they served cat fish... Service is top notch. Ambience is quite interesting with a display of jars which are full of preserved ingredients. Tableware has this earthen tone that intends to give out a more sustainability and demure vibes.

Please don't be put off by the pictures of the seating. They look like small sofas but are firm and comfortable, the restaurant interior looks fantastic. But do go for the food. Loved the food in this restaurant, very tasty with lots of interesting flavour combinations that elevate the dishes.

Worth every Euro. I highly recommend that you dine at The Pantry at least once in your lifetime. The staff were incredibly welcoming, the food was phenomenal and the decor was intriguing.

Food was okay. Not AS close to having authentic Indian taste and spiciness as it claimed. Paneer Jhalfrezi was way sweeter than it was supposed to be, while the chicken pakora was too dry. The menu could have a better spread as well. The staff was very polite and I might go back just for the ambience there.

The food is good not the best. The waiter is so kind. They have vegan food which is our favorite. The decoration and the atmosphere was really beautiful. But they are thieves! They charged us 9 euros for water that is from the Tap, not even a bottle! In all restaurants we were at, we always never paid for water that is from tap! Never. This is the first restaurant that charge this much for it! Never coming back here again.

We stopped by Bombay Restaurant for lunch while touring Berlin and were impressed by their Business Lunch deal. As vegetarians, we appreciated the two options available—Dal Tarka and Palak Paneer. We went with the Palak Paneer, which came with rice, and the flavors were incredibly authentic and well-balanced. The Lunch time deal also included a delicious lentil soup, a small Bhatura, and a fresh salad, which made for a satisfying and wholesome meal. If you’re looking for a great vegetarian meal, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Full traveller review! Travelled from the UK and tried this place looking for traditional German food. 1) Service in the main was good. The young gentleman was helpful, attentive and quite happy to have us there. The older gentleman on the till wasn’t hugely helpful when paying, but nothing problematic. 2) Ordered the pork schnitzel and my partner had pasta. The schnitzel was huge, but wasn’t anything to about. It had a good flavour, was crispy but could have more flavour. 3) Price - two main meals, plus two diet cokes came to around 46 euro. Not cheap. Overall, food was traditional, good service, fast and attentive - worth a try.

Every time we visit Berlin, we find ourselves returning to Boulevard Friedrichstrasse—again and again! For us, it’s one of the best places in the city to enjoy typical Berlin and German dishes. Our go to in Berlin for good German cooking. Love the people and the fabulous music too. I recommend the Solgnka, Feines Ragout and the Ghoulash. There bread dumplings are delicious 😋

I was a little disappointed with this as it had quite the high reviews. The food was average and didn't really have much flavor. The soup was a little too watery for my taste and needed salt, the bread was very dense. The Spätzle was very salty and was filled with onions - fried and spring onions and chives. It was really hard to finish cause the onions were overpowering everything else. Bratwurst was also underwhelming, could've used a little more flavor and little less water. Service was fine, nothing special. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. You can pay by card. Overall, okay experience but will probably not be back.

This is one of the best Vietnamese places I've been to outside Vietnam 🇻🇳 where I visited in 2022. So surprised a place like this in Berlin. Its so good I went 2 times already and wish I was staying longer to go again. The service is top notch and extremely friendly on a personal level, you get menu's right away and shortly after the drinks than your amazing food to be enjoyed preferably outside or inside in this cute place with great staff. Came here for lunch and our waiter was friendly and the food was delicious. Got the beef pho and tofu summer rolls. The menu was so creative; resembling a boarding pass and a passport. I got the ginger apple drink and it was phenomenal.

Our food was so good and the atmosphere was lovely. We ordered the fry pho with tofu and seitan, as well as the tofu skewers and everything was delicious! I also got a lychee cocktail, as per the waiter’s recommendation, and it was the perfect addition. We were sitting out on the patio and halfway through our meal it started raining. The staff made sure we were safely hidden from the rain + gave us blankets to stay warm! Would go again!

I didn't understand the rather low rating. We had a great time there, although it was quite stuffy inside, but you can sit outside. The service was perfect, ordering was immediate, helpful, food was on the table within 15 minutes. And perfect. Pizza´s dough BRAVO, salads were all seasoned, pasta as well. The portions were enormous. But simply the best staff

Really good food, service was a little slow today as I think they were short staffed, only two members of staff taking orders, and probably extra busy due to it being marathon weekend. Food still came out very quickly after being ordered and was very good. Nice little place with friendly staff and good selection of dishes to choose from, worth making a visit if you are in the area.
