We dined here for the first time based on recommendations from friends and they were not wrong - what a great place. The service is great, the staff is actually very friendly, and professional throughout. We tried bone in NY strip, ribeyes and filets and all were cooked exactly like we asked for. The menu is great, many options, also on the appetizer side. Book well in advance - this place is popular!

A little bit fancy place to go out for dinner, with something for every taste. The food is good, but to be honest, the steak is always a bit over-seared on the outside for my liking—it’s just not my style. However, my friend enjoyed it, so it might depend on personal preference. Still, it’s a nice spot to go out, have a relaxing dinner, and chat with friends.

When we made the reservation, we weren’t given the option to choose a table by the window. Upon arriving at the restaurant at 5:00 PM—our reserved time—we asked for a window seat. Unfortunately, after an hour and 40 minutes of being there and already having paid the bill, we were pressured to leave because the next guests had arrived, despite several other empty tables being available.
That said, the food was very good. The meat portion was quite small and took 45 minutes to arrive, likely because I ordered it medium-well. The lettuce salad was incredibly fresh and delicious. However, the sides and sauces to accompany the meat are charged separately. There’s no music, and the service is just average.

AMRIT in Berlin is hands down the BEST Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to – and I’ve tried quite a few around the world! The food is a solid 10/10: bursting with flavor, perfectly spiced, and so satisfying. Plus, the prices are super reasonable, which makes the experience even better.
Service? Also a 10/10. Everything came out incredibly fast and the staff was friendly and efficient. A special shoutout to Dev, our server – he was absolutely amazing! Friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed with a smile.
AMRIT ranks among the best restaurants I’ve ever visited. If you’re in Berlin don’t miss this place. Big up to Dev and the whole AMRIT team!

We had a nice meal at Amrit! Can recommend. Delicious food, good hospitality, and cleanliness. The "spicy" food isn't that spicy, though. It's really aimed at the German tongue.
The heating is up REAL high though😂

We loved dining at Amrit! We ate here on two separate occasions during our 5 day trip. The customer service was lovely and the food was delicious. We highly recommend the samosas, eggplant curry and plant based butter chicken!! Would definitely come back next time we are in Berlin!!

First hot pot experience was successful. Fair prices for the (at least) 2 person hot pot and very delicious broths to choose from. We picked curry and hot chilli, which were both very tasty. Good accommodating service made for a great experience here

price-to-food ratio is really good! the flavours were really close to home! the waitress was so nice! very English speaking friendly
portions are medium-large, would recommend to share if you‘re not a big eater

The staff deserves 10* and they were extremely attentive and helpful. Great hotpot that runs as a buffet that you can keep on ordering from the different options. So far the best hotpot in Berlin that is worth trying and returning. Credit card payments are possible and reservations are possible although not necessary

Really nice, original Chinese food. We highly appreciated the friendly service and that all allergens were listed properly in the menu. Also our request of gluten-free version of a dish was taken care of with consideration. We highly recommend this place. We will be back.

Food taste is consider good in Europe country as some essential ingredients is not available. Services is good. Pricing is reasonable especially for set lunches that is available during Tuesday to Friday. Been there many times during my stay in Berlin.

Food is very nice - especially the Dada platter which contains a little bit of everything. Friendly staff, fast service, no pressure to leave. Only minor point that may put some people off is their choice of music (electro with quite a beat).

Wow now i tasted their Shawarma! Handmade and sehr lecker !! Also
This is by far the best falafel I had in Berlin even though I often eat this in Berlin. But this place was unexpectedly so good, clean , super fresh, no smell of oil and the restaurant is very cosy and well presented. Quite a surprise to find such a place in Mitte!! Bravo!

We were sweating in 30 degrees and the sun was baking on our fur. And as much as I like the kebab, there is no room in my stomach for meat in this heat. When I took the first bite of this sandwich with my shaky teeth, I immediately knew that it was a good decision and definitely not a mistake. Fresh ingredients and a little cheese as a meat substitute. Some part of the food should have lived in some form... the whole thing was prepared with joy, all good, thank you!

Filled to the brim with vegetables, but lucky I like my greens 😂
Beef steak cut used, and falafel is very tasty when freshly fried. Flavourful food overall.
Edwin - 9 months ago
For 5€, not worth it. Falafel itself tastes good, but that was it. The tomato slice was 1/3 of a huge tomato, the carrot raw and the veg fridge temperature. The bread didn’t taste fresh and for 2 thin slices of aubergine you pay 0.50€ on top. Much better and cheaper options around. Go to Baba next door.

We went here today as a treat for a special birthday and we couldn't have asked for better service and more delicious food. It was evident that every aspect of the dining experience had been considered. We would like to extend a special thanks to Falco, who was super responsive prior to arrival, and took the time to find out that it was a special occasion for us and arranged for a personalised menu. We had the 6 course menu with wine pairing mixed with non-alcoholic pairing, which featured seasonal ingredients such as wild garlic and rhubarb. Leeks and lamb also featured which, with us being from Wales, were appreciated. A genuine thank you for making this special occasion a memorable one.

"The spring menu at Rutz is truly exceptional. Having dined at several Michelin three-star establishments, I can confidently say that Rutz stands out as the finest. The menu showcases remarkable creativity, and the chef demonstrates extraordinary skill in balancing and elevating the flavors of each dish. Ingredients that I might typically overlook in everyday life were transformed into delightful surprises. Every cut of meat was impeccably prepared—juicy, tender, and exquisitely aromatic. I would rate this experience a 10 out of 10. The chef’s talent is nothing but genius. The restaurant itself doesn’t look luxury, instead it is small and intimate.

Me and my wife had an amazing dinner at Rutz last night, one of the best we've ever had. Food was delicious in every bite, and the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Totally recommend for all who have the chance.
Gregório Santos - 2 months ago
Rutz takes such a different approach to food from other Michelin places, all in Bavaria, that I have been to on my current trip to Germany. They say that they are into preserving food and being sustainable. One of my waiters also told me that the kitchen is not into making anything sweet. The techniques that they use on their food are quite interesting, and that leads to a somewhat unique dining experience. For example, the usual table-side saucing is replaced by table-side sprinkling of freeze-dried sauce droplets. The flavors of each element in their dishes seem to be intense on their own, but are quite harmonious when experienced together. The food is borderline ingenious vs self serving. My favorite of the menu were the bitter salad and the kohlrabi. The caviar can be skipped; even though, the Berlin royal caviar is quite different from the Thomas Keller one that I am used to in California. Oh, and they served cat fish... Service is top notch. Ambience is quite interesting with a display of jars which are full of preserved ingredients. Tableware has this earthen tone that intends to give out a more sustainability and demure vibes.

Dining at this three Michelin star restaurant was an unforgettable experience. It was indeed very expensive, but for us worth every penny. The service was impeccable, with incredible attention to detail. The sommelier was fantastic, enhancing our dining experience with expertly chosen wines. The food was outstanding—each dish was not only delicious but also had a remarkable texture, showing the chefs' dedication to the textural experience of each meal. The restaurant's focus on local products was evident and added to the overall quality. While the price is significant, the exceptional service and exquisite food made it a night to never forget.

Please don't be put off by the pictures of the seating. They look like small sofas but are firm and comfortable, the restaurant interior looks fantastic.
But do go for the food. Loved the food in this restaurant, very tasty with lots of interesting flavour combinations that elevate the dishes.

Food is on the expensive side but this is a place where you probably go to have a special dinner, so given the quality and presentation, it's worth having the experience.
Great place, would definitely return :)

The food is good not the best. The waiter is so kind. They have vegan food which is our favorite.
The decoration and the atmosphere was really beautiful. But they are thieves! They charged us 9 euros for water that is from the Tap, not even a bottle! In all restaurants we were at, we always never paid for water that is from tap! Never. This is the first restaurant that charge this much for it! Never coming back here again.

Even the owner looked helpless in front of this guy !! i only think they should put signs up that when we have no one around u smoke anything but otherwise the white strange guy makes new rules !

Food was just ok. I expected more flavor and spice. Had the lunch special with the vegetarian option, which came with lentil soup. Also ordered the mango drink and didn’t like it since I’ve had much better. Not bad for the price but I won’t be returning.

We stopped by Bombay Restaurant for lunch while touring Berlin and were impressed by their Business Lunch deal. As vegetarians, we appreciated the two options available—Dal Tarka and Palak Paneer. We went with the Palak Paneer, which came with rice, and the flavors were incredibly authentic and well-balanced.
The Lunch time deal also included a delicious lentil soup, a small Bhatura, and a fresh salad, which made for a satisfying and wholesome meal. If you’re looking for a great vegetarian meal, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Every time we visit Berlin, we find ourselves returning to Boulevard Friedrichstrasse—again and again! For us, it’s one of the best places in the city to enjoy typical Berlin and German dishes. The food is always fresh and delicious, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the cozy corner-restaurant vibe makes it feel like a local gem. Highly recommended if you want a taste of true Berlin!

Some of the best German food I’ve eaten - I was staying nearby and read reviews and it did not disappoint! Staff were really friendly also and welcoming to a single traveller. Would recommend for great eats and good atmosphere!

I wanted to try really authentic German food and this place happened to be within a walking distance for us as we walked around Berlin to see the touristy spots.
I ordered the kassler. Lovely cut of meat and the mashed potatoes were served well to even things out between textures. I wasn’t a massive fan of the raw fermented cabbage as it was very tangy in my opinion.
Service was good, prices aren’t cheap for food, but it was worth a try. Nice pub within the centre of Berlin.

Walked into this authentic German spot and it did not disappoint!
Amazing currywurst and salat with large steak fries.
Had my first ever Berliner Weiss grön and it was wonderfully refreshing.
Large outdoor patio and intimate dining room.
I ordered a starter, beer, and a main. Take into consideration my 20-30 euro range.

Came here for lunch and our waiter was friendly and the food was delicious. Got the beef pho and tofu summer rolls. The menu was so creative; resembling a boarding pass and a passport. I got the ginger apple drink and it was phenomenal.

Our food was so good and the atmosphere was lovely. We ordered the fry pho with tofu and seitan, as well as the tofu skewers and everything was delicious! I also got a lychee cocktail, as per the waiter’s recommendation, and it was the perfect addition.
We were sitting out on the patio and halfway through our meal it started raining. The staff made sure we were safely hidden from the rain + gave us blankets to stay warm! Would go again!

I didn't understand the rather low rating. We had a great time there, although it was quite stuffy inside, but you can sit outside. The service was perfect, ordering was immediate, helpful, food was on the table within 15 minutes. And perfect. Pizza´s dough BRAVO, salads were all seasoned, pasta as well. The portions were enormous. But simply the best staff
