Family were in town and wanted to treat them to some good steak. I definitely found the steaks and overall menu very good as we ordered a bit of everything. We created our own surf and turf with a selection of steak and seafood mains. Can recommend the fennel and tatare as starters. The star of the show was the entrecôte. Service was pleasant and welcoming despite last minute reservations. Setting is one of the better environments in town with a view of the spree:river. Quite lively once the evening rush hits however our table structure are a bit odd and very rectangular booth style, not very comfortable. All in all recommend this spot for steaks

A fantastic spot, especially if you’re a steak lover. The location is very romantic, right by the river, which makes it ideal for a relaxed dinner or a special occasion. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, particularly in the evening. They also have an impressive wine collection, with a huge variety to choose from, which pairs beautifully with the food. Overall, a great dining experience.

3.5 STARS I visited for dinner on a special occasion. The food was very good , and I had high expectations, especially since the restaurant is so popular. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food.and restaurant. Our waiter was not very friendly, and for a high-end, prestigious restaurant, I expected a much warmer and more attentive experience. The disappointing service left me unsure about returning, even though the food itself was amazing.

Not only is it a very elegant place with perfect service, but it also offers excellent quality ingredients, perfectly cooked, and an endless wine list. Sometimes I think I invented a job in Berlin just so I could come here to eat.

We had a wonderful evening at Grill Royal – one of those nights you remember for a long time. We will definitely return the next time we are in Berlin. The food was magnificent, and the service attentive and genuinely warm. Sebastian took care of us throughout the evening, and his open, friendly manner won us over immediately. Even the welcome at the door was exceptionally professional and heartfelt. We especially want to highlight the impressive wine list and our sommelier Nancy. She did an outstanding job at our table. Her recommendations matched our taste perfectly, and her professionalism as well as her intuitive sense for guests are remarkable. We could have watched her for hours as she poured the wine with such elegance – a small work of art in itself.

If you wish to have great tasting indian food in Berlin Mitte then this is the place to go for.. Great Food, Excellent Service and wonderful atmosphere. We were served by a pleasant young man Shivam who made sure we had a good experince at the restaurant. The menu has a good selection cocktails and mocktails. The restarant was full and we were amazed at the speed at which our orders reached our table. Maybe 5 mins from the time our order was placed. The curry tasted very authentic. Each curry was different in its own way and taste.. Just like the ones you get in Mumbai-India. Good portion sizes and resonably priced. Above all they accept berlin welcome card offering 25% discount on the final bill. Would highly recommend this resraurant and will visit again if we visit berlin again

What a cuisine, unbelievable food. More than expectation. We had Navid take care of us. What a delight he was. We asked for his recommendation on the dishes and what a recommendation he came up with. We were a family of seven with 2 children under 5. He even took care of the food for them. Such a helpful person. Pankaj and Pandey the other staff on site were also very friendly. If we lived in Berlin I would be eating here on a regular basis. Not only was the food good , the icing on the cake was Navid looking after us. Thank you very much.

I recently enjoyed a lovely dinner at this restaurant with group of my friends. The complimentary rice served with every meal is a thoughtful touch and added to the overall experience. We ordered Dal Makhani, Kadhai Paneer, Sabz Bahar, along with garlic naan, tandoori roti, and a fresh green salad of lacha onion, tomato, and cucumber. The food was well-prepared and satisfying. The service was excellent from start to finish. The team was polite, attentive, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived until we left. Their hospitality truly enhanced our visit. The only aspect that fell slightly short for me was the level of Indian spices in the dishes. As someone who specifically came to enjoy authentic Indian flavors, I felt the spice profile was milder than expected. I understand that many international guests may prefer less spice, so I completely respect that. However, it would be great if the staff could ask guests about their spice preference mild, medium, or spicy so the dishes can be tailored accordingly. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I appreciate the effort the team puts into their service and food. I look forward to visiting again.

As an indian, i was very excited to taste the authentic indian flavours here but it didnot really reach my expectations. The taste was not really good. We asked extra salad and the service department completely forgot about it and till the end we didnt receive any salad. We were group of 30 people and i really thought of making my collegues taste the best indian food but failed. Anyways we ended up giving huge tip for serving food to our group of people on time. Thanks.

My God, what can I say about Amrit in Berlin?! It truly is the best Indian food I have ever had—an absolutely impeccable experience from start to finish. The service was attentive, the decor was beautiful and inviting, and the food and drinks were flawless. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Butter Masala (definitely request it spicy—it was fantastic!), paired with warm, fluffy Garlic Naan, a rich Mango Lassi, and finally, a perfect Masala Chai. I was so full in the end and left as one very happy camper.

Lucky Star is a must-visit in Berlin! The dim sum are fresh and perfectly steamed, and the all-you-can-eat hot pot (€22.80 per person) is outstanding—tender meats, crisp veggies, and rich broths full of flavour. The staff are fantastic, the service is fabulous, and the value is unbeatable. Sadly we were only visiting, but if you’re staying central it’s absolutely worth it. We’ll be back next time we’re in Berlin.

First hot pot experience was successful. Fair prices for the (at least) 2 person hot pot and very delicious broths to choose from. We picked curry and hot chilli, which were both very tasty. Good accommodating service made for a great experience here

The staff deserves 10* and they were extremely attentive and helpful. Great hotpot that runs as a buffet that you can keep on ordering from the different options. So far the best hotpot in Berlin that is worth trying and returning. Credit card payments are possible and reservations are possible although not necessary

I have been going to Lucky Star for almost 10 years now. It’s still the only place in Berlin that charges very little for all you can eat hotpot. All this time they have only changed the price once. The hotpot is delicious, everyone who works there is great, kind, polite, and honestly the best. As a foreigner in Berlin there aren’t many restaurants where you are treated well, but here I always have been. They can speak many languages so you’ll be well taken care of. I highly recommend it.

A very small and humble looking restaurant famous for its falafel. They had only outdoor seating at the moment. We were little late for lunch so were lucky to get a sitting place without wait. The service was quick and our wraps were ready very fast. However, the pitta falafel wrap were extremely tasty and full filling. They have very limited dishes, mostly vegetarian on menu. A must try restaurant for falafel in Berlin.

Food is very nice - especially the Dada platter which contains a little bit of everything. Friendly staff, fast service, no pressure to leave. Only minor point that may put some people off is their choice of music (electro with quite a beat).

Great vegetarian platter bursting with various flavors that all pair well with each other. You could eat the same platter 10 times and choose different orders and combinations of food and come out of it happy and full. Also, the falafel is fried to perfection and has a distinct taste of coriander seeds, which is great for my palate.

Rutz is just great! Very nice staff, super friendly and always a smile on their faces. We took our kids for dinner and it was no problem at all, they even made special food for them. The wine service was super friendly and very attentive. Food was simply amazing, we chose the Berlin Size Menu, wich was perfect in size and amount of dishes. We loved the easy going atmosphere which made it very easy to enjoy 3 star Michelin with our small kids. The ambiance is modern but not cold. It’s highly recommended, we loved it and we will come back. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing experience. I was super sick that day but couldn’t cancel on time, I’m glad I didn’t. Even tho I wasn’t at my 100% the flavours in every dish were amazing!! Technically perfect, not much they can improve tbh. All the temperatures, textures, techniques were executed perfectly. Service super friendly and attentive, timing between every dish was long enough to enjoy the company and the place but not to long. It took us 4 hours to go through the tasting menu, but time flew! Nice detail with the soap, every time I use it and smell it, reminds me the restaurant. Amazing experience! Thank you!

It was an amazing experience! Can really tell that the chef put their hearts into creating something different for the guest. A mix of interesting taste and texture. And as the staff explained, the food was not heavy. Definitely recommend! (Forgot to take a fish dish photo…)

I had the pleasure of dining here in April of 2024. They were accommodating of my 6 year old son. He has joined me on many dining experiences and is very well behaved. The food was creative, and expressed amazing flavours. The wine pairings were fantastic I will definitely return.

Please don't be put off by the pictures of the seating. They look like small sofas but are firm and comfortable, the restaurant interior looks fantastic. But do go for the food. Loved the food in this restaurant, very tasty with lots of interesting flavour combinations that elevate the dishes.

Worth every Euro. I highly recommend that you dine at The Pantry at least once in your lifetime. The staff were incredibly welcoming, the food was phenomenal and the decor was intriguing.

Truly a superb balance between food, ambience and service. The convivial leather 'banquette' seating and the feeling of cool space sets the tone. Reading the menu, you realize you made the right choice. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly and present when needed. The first course selections were varied and all presented beautifully. Oysters were a nice addition as well, and very fresh. The "200", their 200g steak offering, was very good, and the correct size after our arrray of starters. A solid listing of cocktails, traditional and otherwise, and a very decent wine list meant all of the food was well paired. Last but not least, the 'Death by Chocolate' dessert was outstanding, and offered several flavours of chocolate offerings on one plate. A great evening, and worth the visit.

Food was okay. Not AS close to having authentic Indian taste and spiciness as it claimed. Paneer Jhalfrezi was way sweeter than it was supposed to be, while the chicken pakora was too dry. The menu could have a better spread as well. The staff was very polite and I might go back just for the ambience there.

The food is good not the best. The waiter is so kind. They have vegan food which is our favorite. The decoration and the atmosphere was really beautiful. But they are thieves! They charged us 9 euros for water that is from the Tap, not even a bottle! In all restaurants we were at, we always never paid for water that is from tap! Never. This is the first restaurant that charge this much for it! Never coming back here again.

We stopped by Bombay Restaurant for lunch while touring Berlin and were impressed by their Business Lunch deal. As vegetarians, we appreciated the two options available—Dal Tarka and Palak Paneer. We went with the Palak Paneer, which came with rice, and the flavors were incredibly authentic and well-balanced. The Lunch time deal also included a delicious lentil soup, a small Bhatura, and a fresh salad, which made for a satisfying and wholesome meal. If you’re looking for a great vegetarian meal, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Food was just ok. I expected more flavor and spice. Had the lunch special with the vegetarian option, which came with lentil soup. Also ordered the mango drink and didn’t like it since I’ve had much better. Not bad for the price but I won’t be returning.

Full traveller review! Travelled from the UK and tried this place looking for traditional German food. 1) Service in the main was good. The young gentleman was helpful, attentive and quite happy to have us there. The older gentleman on the till wasn’t hugely helpful when paying, but nothing problematic. 2) Ordered the pork schnitzel and my partner had pasta. The schnitzel was huge, but wasn’t anything to about. It had a good flavour, was crispy but could have more flavour. 3) Price - two main meals, plus two diet cokes came to around 46 euro. Not cheap. Overall, food was traditional, good service, fast and attentive - worth a try.

Every time we visit Berlin, we find ourselves returning to Boulevard Friedrichstrasse—again and again! For us, it’s one of the best places in the city to enjoy typical Berlin and German dishes. The food is always fresh and delicious, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the cozy corner-restaurant vibe makes it feel like a local gem. Highly recommended if you want a taste of true Berlin!

This is one of the best Vietnamese places I've been to outside Vietnam 🇻🇳 where I visited in 2022. So surprised a place like this in Berlin. Its so good I went 2 times already and wish I was staying longer to go again. The service is top notch and extremely friendly on a personal level, you get menu's right away and shortly after the drinks than your amazing food to be enjoyed preferably outside or inside in this cute place with great staff. Dairy allergy safe ✅!!! I went here for my birthday and ordered the vegan pho. Mine was very flavorful, loved it. The drinks were also great. It’s always nerve wracking eating out with a severe dairy allergy but the staff were very helpful and told me what food options were safe. Would definitely recommend coming here!

As someone who really enjoys Vietnamese food, If I have the chance, I would definitely love to come back again and I’ll be bringing friends next time. From the moment I stepped in, I felt a warm and genuine welcome from the team. The atmosphere was inviting, and the service stood out right away. The two staff members working during my visit - a young man and a young woman - were absolutely amazing. It felt like hospitality comes naturally to them. They were kind, attentive, and made the whole experience feel special. I had the Pho, and it was absolutely delicious — easily a 10/10 for flavor, freshness, and presentation. As for the customer service? 20/10 — truly outstanding! Highly recommended if you're looking for authentic Vietnamese food with top-notch service.

Had a nice light dinner: chicken pho & spring rolls with Tiger beer. Visited on a Saturday night with no reservation. Sat outside & enjoyed the fresh air. They have heated lamps & provide blankets so it was cozy. Seating is limited. Best to reserve esp if you're dining with a group.

Outstanding food served by lovely people! Every dish can be chosen in a vegan way, which is quite nice. Their pho tastes particularly good: the name of the place is well earned. The place is crowded, be prepared to wait a little bit to get a table. We waited only 5 minutes at 19:00 on a Sunday night tho. The beverages are original as well as they propose a sugarcane lemonade for example.

I didn't understand the rather low rating. We had a great time there, although it was quite stuffy inside, but you can sit outside. The service was perfect, ordering was immediate, helpful, food was on the table within 15 minutes. And perfect. Pizza´s dough BRAVO, salads were all seasoned, pasta as well. Food is okay nothing extraordinary but it’s spacious and fast. Menu are all in Italian so be ready with your google translator. Servers can’t speak english well.

Overall, food is good. We ordered lunch special, soup, bread, pasta, soft drink and espresso with a price less than 9 euro. Good bargain.
