The steaks here are truly almost the best in Berlin. At least my Top 2.
🥩 In terms of the cuts, you can't go wrong: the NY Strip, T-Bone, and American Porterhouse were all fantastic.
🍷 A special shoutout to the sommelier (the lady with the bob haircut)! Her recommendations are spot on and she has never let us down. What I appreciate most is that she suggests wines based on taste, not just expensive bottle on the list.
🥗 The Kopfsalat (Butterhead Lettuce) is a must-order every time. One portion is huge-plenty for two people to split, and honestly enough for three.
🍟If you’re a fan of carbs, their bread is solid, and the sweet potato fries are absolutely delicious.
🧆The Beef Tartare is superb! highly recommended! The portion is quite generous, so 2 people can easily share it as a starter.
🤑Price:100 -120€ per person (including drinks).

Had been wanting to go to this place for a while and finally made the time.
It was a bizarre experience, first of all, service is great, no complains there. Food was fine, I was expecting amazing or enebro great, but it was just fine, does not justify the price for me. The aubergine ‘meatballs’ were quite good, the t-bone was ok, the sides (potatoe gratin and Broccoli) were disappointing, and desert ok.
What was most off putting was the atmosphere, it’s supposed to be classy place, but they have neon signs as deco.

A fantastic spot, especially if you’re a steak lover.
The location is very romantic, right by the river, which makes it ideal for a relaxed dinner or a special occasion. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, particularly in the evening.
They also have an impressive wine collection, with a huge variety to choose from, which pairs beautifully with the food.
Overall, a great dining experience.
Dimitrios Tzelepis - 6 months ago
A perfectly cooked steak of super high quality. The beef tartare with caviar is superb - immaculate balance. Mistakenly got the wrong wine, nevertheless a wonderful bottle of Amarone.
Arsen Abrahamyan - 5 months ago
Family were in town and wanted to treat them to some good steak. I definitely found the steaks and overall menu very good as we ordered a bit of everything. We created our own surf and turf with a selection of steak and seafood mains. Can recommend the fennel and tatare as starters. The star of the show was the entrecôte.
Service was pleasant and welcoming despite last minute reservations.
Setting is one of the better environments in town with a view of the spree:river. Quite lively once the evening rush hits however our table structure are a bit odd and very rectangular booth style, not very comfortable.
All in all recommend this spot for steaks

Great restaurant! We ordered a few starters and main dishes and everything was delicious. The sauces were especially amazing and packed with flavor. The cocktails were great too, and the dessert with ice cream was the perfect ending. Definitely recommend!

I recently ate here and had a really pleasant experience overall. The garlic bread was excellent — full of flavor, perfectly toasted, and clearly made with good quality ingredients. I also really enjoyed the starter with the three sauces; it was a great way to begin the meal, and one of the sauces in particular stood out as absolutely delicious.
The restaurant itself is very spacious, which makes it ideal for larger groups or gatherings. Despite its size, the atmosphere still feels well thought out, refined, and carefully designed, with attention to detail that makes the space comfortable rather than overwhelming.
Service was smooth and the overall vibe of the place made it easy to relax and enjoy the evening. It’s definitely a spot I would recommend, whether you’re going for a casual dinner or meeting with friends in a bigger group.

We stopped in for a quick lunch and it turned out to be a great choice. The business lunch menu is a great deal, but what stood out was the quality. I went with the Goan Lamb Masala and it was excellent. Rich, slightly spicy, and full of depth without being heavy. The lamb was tender, and the sauce had that “slow-cooked feel” to it being balanced, not rushed. Paired with the rice and fresh naan, (especially the garlic naan) it came together really well. The interior is beautiful, well decorated, clean and the atmosphere felt so relaxed and comfortable for a midday stop. Overall, a very solid lunch spot. Would absolutely come back and work through more of the menu. Highly recommended.

🤩Loved the lunch here! 🇮🇳✨ perfect ambience + ordered naan, butter chicken, paneer jalfrezi, mango lassi, and a ginger mint drink — everything was flavorful and really satisfying. butter chicken 🍗 was rich, creamy, and comforting - perfect balance of tomato, spices, and smooth sauce. The naan was soft and great for scooping up every bit of curry. 🤤
The paneer jalfrezi was also delicious — colorful, nicely spiced, and packed with flavor. I really enjoyed the mix of paneer and vegetables; it felt hearty but not too heavy. 👏
In drinks, the mango lassi was creamy, sweet, and refreshing, while the ginger mint drink was light, cooling, and perfect with the spices. 🌿🥭
Overall, a very enjoyable Indian meal in Berlin Mitte. Great food, warm flavors, and a nice place to visit when you’re craving Indian comfort food. Would definitely come back!

I entered the Restaurant and it was like magic. The flair, the vibe, the culture & everything just came over me. I was so fascinated and flashed just by the look and the welcome of the wonderful waiters. All of them were kind and made you feel good & welcome. When the Food came it was like I had Birthday so much on our table and the lava stone plate it was awesome. Everything I ordered tasted so good & fresh. The spices were on point. The place was beautiful and "Rahul" our waiter, he just made my day. Brilliant Person, lots of respect for the whole team and especially him, his energy made you enjoy it even more. Overall it was a 10/10 experience for me. I felt like I paused my life & entered a Bollywood Movie.
I had nothing to complain, the food came fast, it was delicious. Secret tip even when you walk by, take a Mango Lassi To-Go. You won't regret, trust me.
Only Love for the whole Team. Thank your for this evening. Great experience I'll come back soon for sure!!

Food is the best thing I’ve had in Germany out of the three years I’ve lived here. Staff was very kind and polite. Atmosphere was a calm and lovely environment a dude had a medical emergency while we were dining in and the staff helped get him to the hospital while still providing excellent service. 10/10 would come here again.

Lucky Star is a must-visit in Berlin! The dim sum are fresh and perfectly steamed, and the all-you-can-eat hot pot (€22.80 per person) is outstanding—tender meats, crisp veggies, and rich broths full of flavour. The staff are fantastic, the service is fabulous, and the value is unbeatable. Sadly we were only visiting, but if you’re staying central it’s absolutely worth it. We’ll be back next time we’re in Berlin.

First hot pot experience was successful. Fair prices for the (at least) 2 person hot pot and very delicious broths to choose from. We picked curry and hot chilli, which were both very tasty. Good accommodating service made for a great experience here

I was recommended this place by a local. It did not disappoint. Had the spiciest chilli I’ve had in Germany which was great cos I was missing it. I was told to request for the delicious hot chocolate which you have to specially ask for. It was velvety and rich. Perfect way to end the meal. 🌟

Superb falafel, halloumi, etc. Friendly and helpful staff. When a little girl on the next table dropped her fork the waitress immediately came over and replaced it without needing to be asked. Excellent atmosphere too!

Food is very nice - especially the Dada platter which contains a little bit of everything. Friendly staff, fast service, no pressure to leave. Only minor point that may put some people off is their choice of music (electro with quite a beat).

Beautifully decorated restaurant, full of colors and decorative details left and right. Very cozy. Falafels are huge and tasty and served with a fresh and diverse salad. Prices are very reasonable for the atmosphere.

We were sweating in 30 degrees and the sun was baking on our fur. And as much as I like the kebab, there is no room in my stomach for meat in this heat. When I took the first bite of this sandwich with my shaky teeth, I immediately knew that it was a good decision and definitely not a mistake. Fresh ingredients and a little cheese as a meat substitute. Some part of the food should have lived in some form... the whole thing was prepared with joy, all good, thank you!

It was a beautiful and very interesting gastronomic experience with sophisticated dishes and truly attentive, professional service. The trout dish was definitely the highlight for me absolutely incredible, although it tasted quite similar to the rabbit course, so there wasn’t much contrast between the two. I also really enjoyed the sand carrot, the dessert, and the wine selection, which was thoughtfully curated and paired very well with the menu.
On the other hand, the oyster course was a disappointment for me, and the presentation with the plastic decoration didn’t feel like the best choice either it came across a bit distracting considering the otherwise elegant concept of the entire experience. The lamb course also didn’t really stand out and felt like the weakest dish compared to the rest of the menu.
Overall, it was definitely an interesting fine dining experience worth trying for the atmosphere and excellent service, but personally, I probably wouldn’t return for a second visit.

Dining at Rutz was one of the most memorable culinary experiences I’ve had in Berlin. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt special but still relaxed and welcoming. The restaurant has a modern, elegant design, and the staff made me feel comfortable right away.
The tasting menu was truly impressive. Each dish arrived beautifully presented, almost like a small piece of art. What stood out most was the creativity of the flavors. Many of the ingredients were local and seasonal, yet the chef transformed them into something completely unique. Every course felt carefully thought out, with surprising combinations that worked perfectly together.
The service was outstanding throughout the evening. The staff explained each dish in detail and were very knowledgeable about the wine pairings. Their passion for the food and wine really added to the experience and made the meal feel more personal.
What I loved most about Rutz is that despite its three Michelin stars, it doesn’t feel intimidating. Instead, it feels like a place where you can truly enjoy food, discover new flavors, and spend a special evening. It’s definitely a restaurant I would recommend to anyone who wants to experience one of the best fine-dining restaurants in Berlin.

Absolutely amazing experience. I was super sick that day but couldn’t cancel on time, I’m glad I didn’t. Even tho I wasn’t at my 100% the flavours in every dish were amazing!! Technically perfect, not much they can improve tbh. All the temperatures, textures, techniques were executed perfectly. Service super friendly and attentive, timing between every dish was long enough to enjoy the company and the place but not to long. It took us 4 hours to go through the tasting menu, but time flew! Nice detail with the soap, every time I use it and smell it, reminds me the restaurant. Amazing experience! Thank you!

It was an amazing experience! Can really tell that the chef put their hearts into creating something different for the guest. A mix of interesting taste and texture. And as the staff explained, the food was not heavy. Definitely recommend! (Forgot to take a fish dish photo…)

Rutz is just great! Very nice staff, super friendly and always a smile on their faces. We took our kids for dinner and it was no problem at all, they even made special food for them. The wine service was super friendly and very attentive. Food was simply amazing, we chose the Berlin Size Menu, wich was perfect in size and amount of dishes. We loved the easy going atmosphere which made it very easy to enjoy 3 star Michelin with our small kids.
The ambiance is modern but not cold.
It’s highly recommended, we loved it and we will come back. Thank you!

Really great place!

We had a wonderful dining experience at this Mediterranean restaurant and would gladly return again. From the moment we entered, the atmosphere immediately stood out. The dining room is dark, cosy, and very elegant, creating a warm and intimate setting that feels perfect for both a relaxed evening and a special occasion. The lighting, music, and overall interior design all come together beautifully and give the restaurant a sophisticated but comfortable vibe.
The food was delicious throughout the evening, with fresh ingredients and authentic Mediterranean flavours in every dish we tried. Everything was well presented and clearly prepared with attention to detail. The menu offers a great balance of classic Mediterranean cuisine with modern touches.
One of the highlights of the evening was definitely the cocktails. They were exceptionally well made, balanced, creative, and beautifully presented. It is clear that a lot of care goes into the drinks menu, and they complemented the food perfectly.
What truly completed the experience, however, was the excellent service. The staff were attentive, professional, friendly, and always available without being intrusive. They made us feel genuinely welcome and ensured that everything throughout the evening ran smoothly.
Overall, this is a fantastic place for anyone looking for high-quality Mediterranean cuisine in a stylish and cosy atmosphere. Great food, outstanding cocktails, and exceptional service made this a memorable evening for us.

A really nice food and service experience in Berlin!
➕ The vibe was really chill and comfortable.
➕ The service was on top, and we had a really tall and kind waitress!
➕The food was super good and just about right portions.
➕ The prices matched the service and food we got.
➖ Really nothing to complain about, but if I have to say one thing it is that my plate (the seetrough) moved quite a bit when cutting my food. Other than that nothing bad to say!
We would definitley come back another time!

Please don't be put off by the pictures of the seating. They look like small sofas but are firm and comfortable, the restaurant interior looks fantastic.
But do go for the food. Loved the food in this restaurant, very tasty with lots of interesting flavour combinations that elevate the dishes.

The chicken and lamb served on the hot platter, arrived steaming, was fabulous. Would definitely order again. Service was very friendly and attentive. Ipanema mocktail was great and refreshing. Coconut Kiss could use more juice and less cream in my opinion. Overall can recommend.

The food is good not the best. The waiter is so kind. They have vegan food which is our favorite.
The decoration and the atmosphere was really beautiful. But they are thieves! They charged us 9 euros for water that is from the Tap, not even a bottle! In all restaurants we were at, we always never paid for water that is from tap! Never. This is the first restaurant that charge this much for it! Never coming back here again.

Food was just ok. I expected more flavor and spice. Had the lunch special with the vegetarian option, which came with lentil soup. Also ordered the mango drink and didn’t like it since I’ve had much better. Not bad for the price but I won’t be returning.

Food was okay. Not AS close to having authentic Indian taste and spiciness as it claimed. Paneer Jhalfrezi was way sweeter than it was supposed to be, while the chicken pakora was too dry. The menu could have a better spread as well.
The staff was very polite and I might go back just for the ambience there.

Good classic German food.
Soup with lemon was banging the same I can say the same about Schnitzel and duck.
Comfy food after cold night of exploring Berlin.
Staff was very friendly and promtp:)!

I was a little disappointed with this as it had quite the high reviews. The food was average and didn't really have much flavor. The soup was a little too watery for my taste and needed salt, the bread was very dense. The Spätzle was very salty and was filled with onions - fried and spring onions and chives. It was really hard to finish cause the onions were overpowering everything else. Bratwurst was also underwhelming, could've used a little more flavor and little less water.
Service was fine, nothing special. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. You can pay by card. Overall, okay experience but will probably not be back.

Every time we visit Berlin, we find ourselves returning to Boulevard Friedrichstrasse—again and again! For us, it’s one of the best places in the city to enjoy typical Berlin and German dishes. The food is always fresh and delicious, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the cozy corner-restaurant vibe makes it feel like a local gem. Highly recommended if you want a taste of true Berlin!

Nice, classic German food. I stopped by this place on the way back to my hotel, and enjoyed the local vibe. I ordered the bratwurst with sauerkraut and potatoes. Would recommend!

Perfect. I would say this restaurant serves the best German cuisine that I have ever had. We ordered dishes of sausages, beef, and beef balls, and they were all well cooked. There were two of us, and we were already full when we finished the second dish, because the dishes are just so large. There is also a quiet and clean washroom indoors. I really like the food and the people at this restaurant.

Food is good, but my Kurisupi dakku ramen has too much fat, almost no meat (pic. 1). The waiter was informed about that, but didn’t do anything, just recommended to order something else from the menu.
Of course ramen was included in receipt :)

Delicious food and plenty of vegetarian options to choose from. We started with edamame as an appetizer – it was good, but a bit fibrous / possibly overcooked (?) as it was somewhat difficult to remove the beans from the pods🫛
For the main courses, we chose vegetarian ramen and curry. The ramen was very tasty, with lots of toppings and noodles. The veggie chicken was a bit soggy, but still okay 🍜
The curry was better – a wonderful nutty sauce, lots of vegetables, and a fresh side salad. The dishes were not spicy 🍛
The teas could be served differently, as the current infuser is too small for the mug and the leaves are not fully covered with hot water, which results in a weak brew. However, the flavors themselves are really good. A plus for using real loose-leaf tea instead of tea bags 🍵🫖
The interior is very nice and atmospheric. The waitstaff were friendly :)
Overall, a very pleasant visit.

A little small and well packed, meant a little too much noice, but not a real problem.

OMGGGGG!!! It was sooo good. We reserved a table on the website, so it was very easy. We arrived on time but the table needed 5 more minutes to be ready. We were fine with the wait, the server who was incredibly polite, attentive and cool served us some hot tea during our wait. The atmosphere is cozy even if it’s a little cramped inside. The food was good and authentic-feeling. Portion sizes were nice and we enjoyed the cocktails. They had two deserts, my boyfriend loooved the mango one, but I really enjoyed the sticky rice. Overall there is something for everyone.
Again I’d like to sing the praises for the service staff. They were absolutely incredible. We would definitely come back next time we’re in Berlin.

Great spot for a light Chicken Pho (€14). The broth is very refreshing and won't leave you feeling sluggish. Big plus: unlike other places nearby (looking at you, Cô Chu), they finally removed the €20 card minimum. Super convenient and highly recommended for 2026!

The best pho place in Berlin and maybe also in Germany.
I always go there when I am in Berlin. They have other 2 branches as well. However, I don't know how or why but the pho in the other two branches is not as great as pho here. The pho here has very deep flavour (and I am talking about the vegan pho). The ingredients are fresh. They serve pho with tofu, mushrooms and vegetables. They are always ready to give extra lemons or chillies. Also they have recently changed their chilli sauce to a home made one. This is much better than the Sriracha.
Also their tofu skewers are excellent.

This is one of the best Vietnamese places I've been to outside Vietnam 🇻🇳 where I visited in 2022. So surprised a place like this in Berlin. Its so good I went 2 times already and wish I was staying longer to go again. The service is top notch and extremely friendly on a personal level, you get menu's right away and shortly after the drinks than your amazing food to be enjoyed preferably outside or inside in this cute place with great staff. Loney stood out the most with her gracious smile and genuine voice, see in the future
