Absolute recommend. Came here with a friend and had the beef tartare to start and the tender sizzling succulent bone sirloin.
Thanks to George who gave a one of a kind service that is honestly starting to become rare nowadays. What was most notable was how he really took the time to explain the food items on the menu, to ensure we were all good, to check on us after the food arrived. Never felt abandoned. As a former waitress myself, he truly followed the steps of service with a genuine, professional and warm attitude!
Im very impressed! Would have tipped him even more if I was not a student!
Thank you once again George, be blessed 🙏!

Dining at Midtown Grill in the Berlin Marriott was an excellent experience. The restaurant has a modern and elegant atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed yet sophisticated meal. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making the evening even more enjoyable. The food was prepared with great care, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The open kitchen adds a nice touch, allowing you to see the chefs at work. Overall, it’s a top choice if you’re looking for a high-quality dining experience in Berlin.

Very polite staff. Attentive. George our waiter shared they had just remodeled. It was beautiful and clean inside. Food was delicious and 100% comparable to steak houses in the US.

The Midtown Grill is inside the Berlin Marriot and has a pleasant interior and isn’t very noisy. The staff is attentive and professional. The menu is fairly extensive with a bias towards pricier dishes. The wine menu is decent but nothing exceptional. We enjoyed the food and wine, albeit a bit expensive, but after a long trip it was a relaxing and pleasant experience. We will come back.

Secret jewel for all steak lovers!
We’ve spend a memorable night: the food was amazing from starters to dessert. The steak did melt like butter and the taste was perfect. The staff was great and well-trained. You should give it a try soon!

A fantastic place to sit, a stonethrow away from the loud (and ugly) Potsdamer platz. It is quiet, space around the tables, you can actually sit outside with the sound of the water ornaments. The service is very good although some of the staff are very young and lack a bit of experience. The sommelier made nice suggestions. The food is amongst the very best you can find in Berlin. It is relatively refined with excellent products, but no goosebumps materials here. The amuse was a joke and not worthy of a Michelin star kitchen. Starters and mains were ok. Two stars in Berlin is not two stars in Paris, Tokyo, Copenhagen or Belgium. Berlin has a long long way to go to become a culinary hub, but clearly many restaurants in Berlin would benefit from working a few months in facil s kitchen. The lunch prices are on the other hand very reasonable for a 2 star restaurant. I will come back.

Facil, Berlin, Germany. A modern European cuisine with a French influence. With two stars under its belt one should be prepared for some experimental aspect. While some dishes are memorable signatures, others may not be. The items are presented beautifully and eye catching. The atmosphere is chic and elegant. Ingredients are of high quality. Service is professional and attentive.

For years, consistently the best place for me for a relaxed, outstanding dining experience and wine pairing. Empathetic, friendly, and highly knowledgeable service that makes shared thinking and conversation genuinely enjoyable. And the bright spaces exude a sense of freedom and relaxation. Here’s to the next 25 years!

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Facil restaurant Berlin. Delicious and artistically presented food and impeccable wine selection. We went for 8 course menu with wine pairing. The sizes of portions are actually quite good and large, everything was just fantastic. We do recommend to visit this restaurant when you are in Berlin.

Staff is super attentive, kind and a delight to talk to. I joined them for the buffet breakfast included in my hotel stay, it did not disappoint, the view from the dining area is secluded and so peaceful. It does not even feel you are in the middle of the city.

Very cozy and friendly restaurant! All the food and beer were delicious, especially the sausages and goulash. Great place for families too 😊

The location at Potsdamer Platz is nice and the atmosphere is lively, but overall the experience was average. The beers were good, and the pretzels and sausages were fine, but nothing outstanding. Service was slow and not very attentive, which took away from the experience. It’s okay for a quick stop if you’re in the area, but there are better options around for German food and beer.

Lindenbräu is a spacious and well-organised restaurant right at Potsdamer Platz. The venue is spread over three levels and offers plenty of seating, which makes it feel comfortable even during busier hours. When we arrived, the restaurant was almost empty, which created a relaxed atmosphere.
The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, and the food was served quickly. The menu focuses mainly on Bavarian and Austrian cuisine, complemented by a small Berlin-style selection, which is a nice and thoughtful mix. The menue card is available online via a digital scan.
The food quality was solid. Portions were reasonable but not particularly large. Flavour-wise, everything was fine, though not outstanding.
The currywurst was okay, but not a standout in terms of taste.
The potato soup with bread was decent, though the portion felt a bit small.
The pretzels were good and enjoyable.
A highlight was definitely the beer selection. We tried all the draft beers as a 1-meter beer, which is a fun experience and highly recommended for anyone wanting to sample different varieties. All beers we tried were very good. I like that they brew directly their own beer in the restaurant thats great!
Overall, Lindenbräu is a reliable choice for traditional food, good beer, and a pleasant setting in a central location. While the food doesn’t reach exceptional levels, the atmosphere, service, and beer make it worth a visit.
Recommended.

We visited Essenza to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant has a refined fine-dining atmosphere, and the service was professional and attentive. However, it felt quite formal — the staff were polite but rarely smiled, which made the experience feel a little cold to us. Coming from Australia, we may simply be more used to warmer, more relaxed service, so this could be a cultural difference.
In terms of food, we shared the octopus as a starter, which was nicely presented but lacked depth of flavour. For mains, my husband had the lamb chops, and I had the duck. Unfortunately, the duck was quite dry and difficult to eat due to the bones, which took away from the enjoyment of the dish. Overall, the flavours across the dishes felt a bit underwhelming for a restaurant at this level.
Essenza is elegant and technically well-executed, but for us, the experience missed some warmth and richness in both service and taste.

First time here. Quite expensive probably due to prime location - had high expectations 😬
Was quite taken aback when I tried my tagliatelle to be tasteless and very bland - did not/could not finish half. My wife had the ravioli which was not so better. I don't know if its always like this or was this evening an outlier, will never probably know since I won't be coming back for this price/value
The lamb rack, however, was quite well cooked.
Important to note that the service was excellent

The restaurant was expensive but wrapped up a wonderful evening at the Philharmonic. There is a feeling of sumptuousness there, with excellent quality food and wine, with authentic regional food, e.g. from Napoli, which is hard to come by. Attentive, helpful and professional service. A great choice for a special occasion.

We made a reservation in advance and had a wonderful experience. The staff were very pleasant, attentive, and welcoming. They were always ready to help with the menu and even offered a wine tasting before we ordered a glass, which was a lovely touch.
The location is great, and the café stays open late, so you can sit and chat with a friend for as long as you like without feeling rushed. The interior is very pleasant — not ultra-modern, but elegant and classic, which creates a cozy atmosphere.
The pasta was absolutely outstanding. We truly had an exceptional gastronomic experience and enjoyed every moment.

I used to love Maredo, but after stopping by for lunch today for the first time in years, I left with mixed feelings. The experience was a tale of two extremes.
The Service Gap: There were only two waiters. One was working tirelessly, sprinting between tables and doing his absolute best. The other stayed behind the counter, seemingly indifferent to everything happening around him. It feels unfair that two people with such different work ethics likely earn the same salary. I'd give one waiter 5 stars and the other 1 star.
The Wait: Despite the restaurant being nearly empty (only 13 customers across 5 tables), the wait times were poor. I had to get up and grab my own menu after waiting for 8 minutes.
The Food: Surprisingly, the steak arrived in less than 5 minutes. However, the quality didn't wow me—I remember the meat being much better in the past.
Conclusion:
I’m giving 4 stars to balance out the effort of the hardworking waiter, but would I recommend it? No. The lack of coordination and the decline in food quality make it hard to justify a return.

We liked the food here. The BBQ Burger was so, so good, even with the caramelized onions I didn’t like that were actually delicious! Great fries and condiments too. The waiter was friendly and there was plenty of seating inside and outside. The atmosphere was great and great service overall. Worth a bite to eat here for dinner!

Indian restaurant a bit over rated.
Very nice interior design and decor providing Indian atmosphere.
inside and outside seating providing more then 100 places easily.
Great service, patient and welcoming.
Food was a bit disappointing, samosas were very taisty, no traces of oil although fried.
Birani lamb was a bit dri and with small amount of lamb.
Expected for a bit more after all the high raiting.

Excellent! The food was delicious and the staff was fantastic. The waiter Niki served us and, with a pleasant conversation, made this place even better. :)))
The interior, the music, and the whole atmosphere create a really welcoming vibe.
Cocktails were great!
We stumbled upon this place by accident and we didn’t regret it!

I had very high hopes as it was hyped to be the best indian restaurant in Berlin.
If this is the case, boy do they have a lot to catch up to.
Food was very bland, especially the palak panir - literally had no taste.
The butter chicken was also nothing to write home about - also bland and watery.
We tried one more dish with shrimp, but they were seriously overcooked to the point they were rubbery. It was nice and spicy though.
We were served two big bowls of rice, but the amount was a lot more than necessary, seems like a waste.
The salad we tried barely qualifies for such. Just because you put some vegetables in a plate does not make it a salad.
I don't think i'll visit again.

We were here for a family lunch and were blown away by the interior, the service and the food. This was the best butter chicken I have ever had. At the end we were offered coffee on the company's account and they were willing to recharge our phones, which we appreciate. We really liked it here. The staff is hardworking and very nice.

We had a great experience at Amrit. The food was full of flavor, well spiced, and clearly prepared fresh. The curries were rich without being heavy, and the naan was soft and perfectly baked.
Service was fast, polite, and efficient, even though the place was busy. The staff knew the menu well and gave clear recommendations.
The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, suitable for both a relaxed dinner and a quick meal. Portions are generous and prices are fair for the quality.
If you are looking for reliable, well executed Indian cuisine in Berlin, this place delivers. Would definitely return.

We went there to celebrate my birthday at 6pm on a Sunday. The ambiance was cozy and quiet. They have multiple seafood and alcohol-free options and they also changed the sauce of one of the dishes for us. The food was SO good! And the service very friendly. They brought the dessert topped with a sparkle candle for my birthday.

Its a little posh bar by the Mantra hotel, it share the hotel entrance and it's a staircase that guides you. The service is very welcoming, the prices are very reasonable for a luxury bar. The wine menu doesn't have a good selection but cocktails are very good. They serve peanuts and wasabi nuts with the drinks. The interior design is interesting in the details not loud and quite nice in size, meaning small and cozy.

Lovely place with good service and nice food. The waiter was attentive and took good care of us, even gave us some extra bread. The cheese platter was lovely with selected cheeses and what appeared to be home made bread and rhubarb-cherry jam. We enjoyed some more dishes along with selected beer, cocktails and wine. A nice evening!

Totally recommend Caffè e Gelato at Potsdamer Platz. The gelato is genuinely good — rich, creamy, made with natural ingredients and you can actually taste the difference. Huge variety too, including lactose-free, gluten-free and sugar-free options, so no one gets left out.
Staff are kind and patient, never rushed you even when it's busy. The vibe inside is nice — proper sit-down place, not just a counter you grab and go from.
Fair warning though: the portions are no joke. I walked 3–5 km after just to feel human again — and I'd do it every time. Honestly one of the best gelato spots in Berlin.

BEST. VANILLA. GELATO. EVERRRRRRR. I'm not one for vanilla anything, but it came with the strawberry sundae I ordered. I was blown away. I would eat that vanilla gelato all day everyday if I could. That vanilla is what the clouds in heaven are made of. I cannot recommend Caffè e Gelato enough! 🍦

I was surprised by the prices but is COMPLETELY WORTH IT. We had a mango cup which is just amazing and the pistachio sandwich. Mangoes pieces were actually good, not something cheap or flavorless. The ice cream is also quite good.
I definitely recommend this place.
