One of the best burgers I’ve ever had, we nick named it the ‘toilet burger’ given its location but it is genuinely a 10/10. Don’t bother with the other variations, go for the cheeseburger and you can really taste each and every ingredient in balance. Maybe we got lucky I don’t know but we went right at opening and the burger was made perfectly. The bun is perfectly sized, soft and slightly sweet, the patty was cooked to perfection with a crispy crust, the cheese adds the melty savoryness, the lettuce, onions and tomatoes are fresh and the pickles deliver the crunch and acid that you need. Last the sauces hit the palate and the flavours come in layers. Truly a 10/10 experience, even on coming back layer in the trip it didn’t taste as good as the first one we had but it was a perfect burger

I had cheseburger and it was delicious. In addition to pork choices, you can easily have beef. It was definetely good but I had a lot better different burgers, so if you want to try something in Berlin, give it a try but don't expect to have the best burger :)
Cheseburger w/o any fries or dring is 6.4 EUR, very good.

Amazing burgers, loved this place, the meat was so good and juicy.
I highly recommend this place if you are in the zone and want something quick.

Came on Thursday around 11:50 and it wasn’t busy. Ordered a cheese burger and it came out after ~15min. You can either order at the front or online via a QR code.
Burger is solid. Nothing special, but satisfying nonetheless. Cool store front. Seats at the table are a wooden pole.
Good spot to go to after a night/morning of partying.

Amazing burger!!! Super tasty!!
Location is amazing, in an old public bathroom under the train lines. Graffiti’s, the traffic just next to you, the sound of the trains…. Can not be more BERLIN! Also very well located if you want to party after

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely amazing experience at Jolesch! The best Kaiserschmarrn and schnitzel I’ve ever had — truly outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself is beautiful, with a warm and cozy atmosphere. The gentle heat from the fireplace made it even more special. Perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a birthday celebration with a larger group. Highly recommended!

Loved the dishes. Duck and schnitzel were fantastic. Apfelstrudel changed our lives. Highly recommended. I would make a reservation.
St L - 2 months ago
Great restaurant with lovely tafelspitz, schnitzel and some of the best Kaiserschmarrn and apfelstrudel I’ve tried. However, when paying the bill, the waiter guilt tripped me into tipping by saying “you forgot to add a tip” which is absolutely not done and ruined the experience for us. You’ve taken advantage of peoples awkwardness and politeness. The service was not the best and somewhat slow, if it was any better I would’ve absolutely tipped on my own accord.

Amazing place and great service! The staff was very professional and I have got to try the veal schnitzel and the kaiserschmarrn both gluten free and super delicious!!

Ready for a story? 🙈
As a Mexican, I can say that the tacos and enchiladas I tried are very similar to those in Mexico City.
The seasoning, the accompanying sauces and the selection of Mexican beers are all very good.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the service. 😒
1. Problem 1: We made a reservation by email, but when we arrived, they told us they hadn't made it. They looked at the email (in Spanish) and, well, for some reason, it wasn't done. Luckily, there was a table available. Fine, we
2. Although the waitress and I both speak Mexican Spanish, she didn't understand that I wanted three tacos, each with a different filling. She said, "Nine?" And I said, "No, three." A few Doritos later: OK.
3. I pay. "Everything okay?" asks the employee. I honestly say yes, but that the enchiladas could have had more sauce. She rolls her eyes. (Then why ask?).
I mean, a little piece of my Mexico is worth a lot, but if they treat me like crap and don't give a damn about my opinion, Ta, really Cabrón. 😩
Thanks for reading.

Came for the horchata, stayed for the service. Incredible food! Mole is a must-try. Shout out to the lovely waitress who recommended a wonderful karaoke place. You deserve nothing but good things!

Food was delicious, 3 tacos for 10 euro was very reasonable- and the flavors were the most authentically Mexican I have had in Germany! I will be back.
FYI 🇲🇽 it is a small restaurant with limited seating and self-service.

Plenty of vegan options that are labeled accordingly. The soya mole ist really good!! Cozy atmosphere and it smells amazing as soon as you walk in.

This is a must try spot. Friendly and absolutely delicious food.

Like the homecooked feel on the foods. The owner and staff are very friendly and warm.
A surprise find to us and definitely a pleasant one.

Family business has been operating for more than 22 years, delicious traditional German homemade food. The owner is super friendly and he is happy to introduce the best food of the shop. And the menu will change every day.
If you looking for transitional food 100%. This is a right choice.

Such a beautiful little restaurant. Staff were so lovely and welcoming! The food was absolutely delicious and were massive portions.

Tasty food and an easy going atmosphere. I would recommend picking the 4-5 course meal. Different soups are prepared on a stove in the middle of the restaurant. The guests are free to go and try some. Drinks and food are reasonably priced. even though the placed was packed, the staff was friendly and funny.

This was the first place we wanted to visit in Berlin and it didn't disappoint!
Great selection of local Berlin craft beer on tap, and the amazing girl on the bar was really helpful and knowledgeable about all the different beers. She explained in English to us all the variations and flavour profiles and the prices were a hell of a lot less than we pay for back home!
Definitely going back there there whilst we're here!

didnt try the food. service was good. atmosphere as well, but the choice of beer was a bit lame. i mean cmon pilsner urquell on the card … thats so not special. but we had a good time.

Excellent craft beer bar with a good selection of beers on tap. A wide variety of beer types and breweries are offered. The staff is professional and friendly. The interior is terrific, except for the restrooms which are Berlin-nasty. Nonetheless we keep coming back to this place for its great beer.
Bull Dogg - 3 years ago
It is a beer place and it should be treated accordingly. The atmosphere is simply awesome, the vibes are so cool and it just feels good here chatting over a beer. It is a disruptive place with good beer, nice staff and good people. They allowed us to bring our own food and I believe the combination of their beer and Burgermeister burgers has added to this experience being hard to forget. Highly recommended

I really like dark, cozy rough around the edges bars where you can crash into a dark corner and just start plowing down drinks with your favorite binge drinking friends.
We came here two times over our week stay in Berlin and really enjoyed.
We did not eat any food other than the homemade pickles that came with the shots of Beluga vodka. Really good. Only order doubles, you know you want to tie one on!
Highly recommend. We will be back!

One of my favorite Kreuzberg bars. Chill and vibey atmosphere, authentic and slavic - which feels like home.
Came 30 minutes before opening and the bar man poured me a nice cold beer.

Came on a Monday during a really fun stand up comedy night. The food is delicious, the service is super fast. So many kind faces. Would recommend you come and support this bar. The neighborhood is really cute and close to so many more nice restaurants and bars.

I advise this bar, homemade food! Good atmosphere, we were on Friday and played live music, delicious cocktails and beer, cheap bar, if we are talking about Berlin, the dumplings are amazing, friendly staff, the bar and its owner support Ukraine and oppose the war!!

The cosiest bar I found in Berlin.
An old wooden bar vibe with a great range of beers, snacks and food.
I came across the bar by accident but, after walking in the cold for a long time, it was the perfect remedy.
Highly recommend.

One of my favorite Turkish breakfast spots in this city. The hot tea and menemen were delicious and well-spiced.
However, outdoor seating in summer or spring is distracting due to bees; indoor dining is preferable during bee season.

I had a lovely breakfast at Sumak! The place itself has a very nice and welcoming environment – perfect for a relaxing morning.
I ordered the Sumak breakfast(13 Euro) , which came with a pot of tea. Everything was absolutely delicious! The tea was rich in flavor, and the bread was freshly baked, warm, and soft – a perfect match for the rest of the meal.
You can really taste the quality in the ingredients. I enjoyed every bite and will definitely come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great breakfast experience!

Drinks and pasta are too expensive. The staff was polite, but you can find better pasta at a cheaper price in Berlin (I’m Italian, by the way). It didn’t leave any lasting impression, but I had a good evening and the food tasted good and the place looks cute.

Had an amazing dinner at this place, the food was incredible, warm and fresh, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come back and enjoy more of their plates. I really love it when restaurants have a short menu of really great options.
mathifonseca - 4 months ago
Cozy little Italian restaurant that offers mostly pasta dishes and with a solid wine selection. We had tagliatelle with truffle and linguine with pesto, burrata and guanciale on top, plus some bread and oil to have as an appetizers, since the other choices were in my opinion too expensive. My linguine were amazing and perfectly cooked, same for the tagliatelle!
Just a small tip: the second floor/room has a bigger table and if it occupied can make the room pretty loud and difficult to have a conversation.

One of the best places I have been in a while. The service was excellent, with such attention to detail and also how they made us feel welcome, just amazing.
The food was just exceptional. You should definitely try the Bruschetta, the combination of the tomatoes and the stracciatella cheese is unbelievably good.
The pasta was superb, and the wine that we got recommended suited the pasta al tartufo perfectly.
I highly recommend going there. But reserve a table, to be sure that you get a spot.

Molto buono! 🤌🏻
The food was delicious! We started with a bruschetta — fresh and full of flavour.
For the main, I had tagliatelle al tartufo — rich and well-balanced. My friend got the octopus, and it was amazing!
We finished with a tiramisu — perfect if you love a strong coffee taste.
Friendly staff, great atmosphere. Totally recommend!

Just a five-star. Charged my phone without asking. I ate my food from another place. I was with a dog. We were watching CL final, and everything was smoove. No one said any word. Great bar and nice friendly staff, nice snacks and great draft beer.bcat's say less or more. Recommend definetely.

Nice beer garden. Good food from Nice Fries.
The bartenders from the beer garden are not very friendly and don’t seem happy about their job..
Maybe hire people that bring a better vibe to your business.
The place has a lot of potential
Maximilian Graf - 7 months ago
What better place to catch up with a friend after work than in a hidden little beergarden with an interesting food option. 👌🏼 Probably only beer and potatoes would be more German but we were in a wine kind of mood and loved to calm down in this little paradise so close to one of the vibrant busy part of the city. The fries were delicious and the dumplings are great! You have a lot of options (approximately 4 different dumplings that you can mix and match with 4/5 different sauces) where you can create your own „dumpling experience“. 😁 So good to be back outside exploring these kind of places! 👌🏼

Good food, friendly service and a nice vibe inside the restaurant .
Prices are a bit on the higher side (for Berlin) as we ended up with 45 eur total plus 5 EUR tipp - 25 pp, but we had a nice time.
We had the chicken Tikka as well as a creamy tomato sauce and a flatbread.
Mango lassi was also very nice!
Overall: recommend!
Enjoy 😊

Authentic and bursting with flavor, this Indian-Pakistani spot serves perfectly spiced dishes that feel both traditional and freshly inspired. A true taste of the subcontinent in every bite.

After a long day of roaming Berlin, we ended up at the East Side Gallery. Nearby is the sprawling area of Kreuzburg. We randomly selected Sadhu while on our way to another restaurant and ended up changing our plans once we saw people enjoying their meals outside.
Our waitress Shivani was patient with our questions and helped us pick exactly what we wanted. As you can see in the pictures below, the serving sizes are generous - we had to take a few home. The food itself tasted very authentic and favorable. The service was excellent as well - making this a must visit for anyone visiting the eastern side of Berlin.
