This Burgermeister is worth a visit for sure. The burgers and fries were really good and staff very friendly. It’s located under a bridge in an intersection so you are surrounded by traffic, which is cool and the restaurant is an old public bathroom, so that’s pretty special.
Pernilla Snethlage - a month ago
The Burger deserves a 5/5 but it gets a 4/5 because the cookie was horrible!
Cheeseburger = 5/5
Delicious, good size, great taste and texture, everything about it was great
Cookie (blueberry cheesecake) = 1/5
Super hard and crispy, barely any filling, it’s all dough and not in a good way and the taste is quite poor too. How can a cookie go so bad?
Venue and atmosphere = 5/5 very cool location under a bridge
Service = 5/5 guys working there were all cool and spoke good English.

Burgermeister at Schlesischer Tor in Berlin is a solid spot for a quick meal. The burgers are very good, with plenty of flavor, and the fries are also worth trying. The personnel are friendly and keep things moving efficiently, even when it’s busy.
One of the more interesting aspects is the location itself, as it’s set in a former public toilet, which gives it a unique and slightly unusual atmosphere. Overall, it’s a good place to grab a burger if you’re in the area.

Hey guys, and greetings to all the girls at this amazing place!
I visited you today with my lady, who had driven 230 km from Poland to see me. This morning, she even hopped on her bike and cycled 15 km each way just to have one of your burgers!
She said it was totally worth spending three hours on the bike since 9:30 a.m. because the burger was that good. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Thanks and see you again soon! 🍔

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Very affordable for the quality, and the fries are excellent too. Great service and very friendly attitude from Adith

In my quiet quest for the perfect Wiener schnitzel, I’ve made the rounds: from the brasserie-style plate at Borchardt to the classical, souffléed crumb of the all-time favourite at Nußbaumerin, and the crisp, restrained rendition at Ottenthal. Jolesch, of course, demanded its own inspection.
Portions here are generous and well fried, served with either crisp potatoes or the traditional potato salad. Their schnitzel lands slightly heavier, though it suits the setting: convivial, busy and steeped in Austrian nostalgia.
A Kreuzberg institution, Jolesch delivers a solid, hearty schnitzel. While it may not rank highest in technique or refinement, it compensates in theatre and gemütlichkeit.
The apple strudel, bathing in vanilla sauce with a side of ice cream, is a fittingly indulgent way to close the evening. Come for the schnitzel, stay for the atmosphere.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely amazing experience at Jolesch! The best Kaiserschmarrn and schnitzel I’ve ever had — truly outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself is beautiful, with a warm and cozy atmosphere. The gentle heat from the fireplace made it even more special. Perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a birthday celebration with a larger group. Highly recommended!

Great Austrian food; we tried their Schnitzel and Goulash which was absolutely delicious with a big portion. The chocolate soufflé was also very tasty, although the apple strudel was a bit over stuffed but still very tasty.
The interesting part was where my husband and I entered with a flower bouquet and there was a vase ready on our table before we even notice (it was so surprising that at first I thought it was tap water haha), very considerate and thoughtful.
The only negative point was that it looked like they were understaffed with only two personnel and they didn’t check on us for our next orders on time and we were so tired at the end. But one of them was very polite and friendly
The rest of our experience was totally positive :)
Indoors was very peaceful and quiet with a very romantic atmosphere and beautiful decorations, very authentic
Totally recommended if you’re looking for a good Austrian dish in Berlin

Excellent Mexican food and a great overall experience. The tacos were full of flavor, made with fresh ingredients, and tasted very authentic. Everything we ordered was well prepared and satisfying. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the service was friendly throughout our visit. If you’re craving good Mexican food, this place is definitely worth trying.
Rana Samir - a month ago
Our food took more than 30 minutes to arrive and even then it wasn't cooked properly. The chicken in the tacos was very chewy and undercooked.
We also had to wait more than 20 minutes for the drinks. Maybe they forgot about our order due to the evening rush.
I'd a bit higher expectations of this place given that they're quite an old establishment.
Darshan Gajara - 2 months ago
Loved the food and very friendly staff. A place I would love to come back to if I lived in Berlin. You can only pay in cash which isn’t a problem but is good to know.

Ready for a story? 🙈
As a Mexican, I can say that the tacos and enchiladas I tried are very similar to those in Mexico City.
The seasoning, the accompanying sauces and the selection of Mexican beers are all very good.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the service. 😒
1. Problem 1: We made a reservation by email, but when we arrived, they told us they hadn't made it. They looked at the email (in Spanish) and, well, for some reason, it wasn't done. Luckily, there was a table available. Fine, we
2. Although the waitress and I both speak Mexican Spanish, she didn't understand that I wanted three tacos, each with a different filling. She said, "Nine?" And I said, "No, three." A few Doritos later: OK.
3. I pay. "Everything okay?" asks the employee. I honestly say yes, but that the enchiladas could have had more sauce. She rolls her eyes. (Then why ask?).
I mean, a little piece of my Mexico is worth a lot, but if they treat me like crap and don't give a damn about my opinion, Ta, really Cabrón. 😩
Thanks for reading.

The best ingredients and great care in presentation i have found outside of Mexico. I have been here twice and leave wanting to order more or thinking about when i can return.

Family business has been operating for more than 22 years, delicious traditional German homemade food. The owner is super friendly and he is happy to introduce the best food of the shop. And the menu will change every day.
If you looking for transitional food 100%. This is a right choice.

Tasty food and an easy going atmosphere. I would recommend picking the 4-5 course meal. Different soups are prepared on a stove in the middle of the restaurant. The guests are free to go and try some. Drinks and food are reasonably priced. even though the placed was packed, the staff was friendly and funny.

This was the first place we wanted to visit in Berlin and it didn't disappoint!
Great selection of local Berlin craft beer on tap, and the amazing girl on the bar was really helpful and knowledgeable about all the different beers. She explained in English to us all the variations and flavour profiles and the prices were a hell of a lot less than we pay for back home!
Definitely going back there there whilst we're here!

I really like dark, cozy rough around the edges bars where you can crash into a dark corner and just start plowing down drinks with your favorite binge drinking friends.
We came here two times over our week stay in Berlin and really enjoyed.
We did not eat any food other than the homemade pickles that came with the shots of Beluga vodka. Really good. Only order doubles, you know you want to tie one on!
Highly recommend. We will be back!

I advise this bar, homemade food! Good atmosphere, we were on Friday and played live music, delicious cocktails and beer, cheap bar, if we are talking about Berlin, the dumplings are amazing, friendly staff, the bar and its owner support Ukraine and oppose the war!!

One of my favorite Kreuzberg bars. Chill and vibey atmosphere, authentic and slavic - which feels like home.
Came 30 minutes before opening and the bar man poured me a nice cold beer.

The cosiest bar I found in Berlin.
An old wooden bar vibe with a great range of beers, snacks and food.
I came across the bar by accident but, after walking in the cold for a long time, it was the perfect remedy.
Highly recommend.

This might be the coziest spot in Berlin, with some of the friendliest and most attentive staff you'll find. They really know how to provide great service. Sometimes things on the menu might be missing, but there’s always something else that’ll make you happy. Definitely worth a visit for a warm, welcoming experience!

Excellent Turkish breakfast options, gorgeous sidewalk seating area, and friendly service, though a bit distracted. Reasonably priced.

I had a lovely breakfast at Sumak! The place itself has a very nice and welcoming environment – perfect for a relaxing morning.
I ordered the Sumak breakfast(13 Euro) , which came with a pot of tea. Everything was absolutely delicious! The tea was rich in flavor, and the bread was freshly baked, warm, and soft – a perfect match for the rest of the meal.
You can really taste the quality in the ingredients. I enjoyed every bite and will definitely come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great breakfast experience!

One of my favorite Turkish breakfast spots in this city. The hot tea and menemen were delicious and well-spiced.
However, outdoor seating in summer or spring is distracting due to bees; indoor dining is preferable during bee season.

I‘m a bit angry at myself I didn’t come this place earlier. It was on my list for a long time.
Beautiful place with outstanding Italian dishes.
Fresh ingredients, well-balanced and healthy. I‘ve been to a lot of Italian restaurants in Berlin, but this place is top. Not only the food, service was very friendly and attentive. Can‘t wait to try another dishes.

Cozy little Italian restaurant that offers mostly pasta dishes and with a solid wine selection. We had tagliatelle with truffle and linguine with pesto, burrata and guanciale on top, plus some bread and oil to have as an appetizers, since the other choices were in my opinion too expensive. My linguine were amazing and perfectly cooked, same for the tagliatelle!
Just a small tip: the second floor/room has a bigger table and if it occupied can make the room pretty loud and difficult to have a conversation.

Had an amazing dinner at this place, the food was incredible, warm and fresh, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come back and enjoy more of their plates. I really love it when restaurants have a short menu of really great options.

Drinks and pasta are too expensive. The staff was polite, but you can find better pasta at a cheaper price in Berlin (I’m Italian, by the way). It didn’t leave any lasting impression, but I had a good evening and the food tasted good and the place looks cute.

Salumeria Lamuri is a hidden gem that brings an authentic taste of Italy to the heart of Berlin. The moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by a cozy, intimate atmosphere that feels effortlessly charming. The decor is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal.
The food is exceptional—fresh, high-quality ingredients shine in every dish. From perfectly made pasta to delicious cured meats and cheeses, everything is prepared with care and authenticity. The flavors are rich and satisfying, just like a true Italian meal should be. Their wine selection is also excellent, complementing the dishes beautifully.
Service is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall experience. Whether you're here for a leisurely brunch, a romantic dinner, or just a glass of wine and some antipasti, Salumeria Lamuri delivers every time. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates great Italian food in a laid-back yet elegant setting!

Nice beer garden but wow, the worst bartender ever! I ordered two cokes (€7) and he gave me the card reader with suggested tips. I couldn't see where to press skip and he took it off me to do so. He had put two bottles in front of me and walked away. I stood and waited for him to come back and said "sorry, can I have glasses and ice?". He literally rolled his eyes! Ha. It was pathetic. He came back with just one glass and plonked it on the bar without looking me in the eye. Complete loser who probably should work in a different job. We left after that drink and would not return.

What better place to catch up with a friend after work than in a hidden little beergarden with an interesting food option. 👌🏼 Probably only beer and potatoes would be more German but we were in a wine kind of mood and loved to calm down in this little paradise so close to one of the vibrant busy part of the city. The fries were delicious and the dumplings are great! You have a lot of options (approximately 4 different dumplings that you can mix and match with 4/5 different sauces) where you can create your own „dumpling experience“. 😁 So good to be back outside exploring these kind of places! 👌🏼
