The restaurant is located in Prenzlauer Berg locality of Berlin. This area is vibrant and full of cafes and restaurants. The restaurant has enough space inside for guests. In summer, one can also sit outside. Their speciality is indian cuisine. The prices are reasonable. However, the portions were a bit smaller. On every second sunday they organize all you can eat buffet and the price is quite low but the quality and variety are not that great as well. Therefore that buffet is not highly recommended. The taste is good and close to the authentic indian cuisine but not excellent. Service is good and the personnel are there very attentive. Cleanliness is okay but can be improved.

Relaxed ambience, good food and attentive staff. Had Scampi masala spicy and it was best. Portion of Rice is also large .

You have to know what to order for a good experience here: samosas, biryani and dal are good. Most sauces are way too bland and creamy and they don’t use a tandoor, like most Indian restaurants in Berlin. Staff can seem probably unintentionally unfriendly. Prices very good.

We were there with Groupon discount for a 5-course dinner. On the pictures you can see what we got. The quality was ok-ish. But as soon as you look around the other tables, you could spot immediately who was coming with Groupon and who not. The portions, the service, the hospitality, and the ambient were way better with non-Groupon tables. We were ripped off big time. I give it a 2-star instead of a 1-star rating because the quality was not that bad. Perhaps good restaurant but they are sending the wrong message with coupons like Groupon.

Specializing in seafood, particularly exquisite sushi and Nigiri, this Korean-Japanese restaurant is a standout. The menu is fantastic, and if you're a sushi enthusiast, this is your safe haven 😊. The drinks and teas are truly enjoyable.

Very nice, tiny restaurant, with great service and romantic atmosphere. I recommend to take the place in front of the bar and see how your food is prepared and chat with chefs. Food-wise, all very good, fresh and nicely presented, yet I didn't get this wow effect to give it all five stars. Good selection of wines.
Last, but not least, reservation is absolutely a must, if you plan your visit on the weekend.
Łukasz Budzisz - 3 months ago
We stayed at the bar and got enough attention and impressions.
The chef cooked himself, attentive to details and gave us recommendations.
The fish was fresh, the combination of flavors was excellent, the rice was of the right consistency.
An excellent choice for those who’s not looking for European version of “sushi” with cheese and so on.
The atmosphere was also good. Love the diy look of it, while being very well taken care of. The stuff was friendly, fast and respectful.

The place is very nice, candles and low light…apprently there is some sort of club downstairs…an no one at the restaurant. So we were confused if maybe its more like a club/tapas place or what…only one person serving at the restaurant but very friendly and the food came very quickly…in general i did not like the quality/flavour of the tapas, tortilla was dried and overcooked, hummus with lack of tahini and garlic flavour…my favourites were the dateln with bacon and the chicken. They accepted card payment!

lovely restaurant near my Airbnb for the holidays in Berlin. Food was authentic and delicious, I highly recommend the Seafood Paella! Prices were fine. Service was utterly funny and charming as well.
صابرينا - 5 months ago
The food quality was excellent. We ordered 3 different tapas and a Paella for 3. Everything was delicious. Service was impeccable
Only negative side: it’s very pricey, especially if you are used to “Berlin prices”. Paella was 16.90€ each. Other than that, really nice experience!

Service was friendly and good, rather chummy than professional.
Food was tasty. Just the octopus was a bit dry.
Paying by card was only possible after discussion.

Small vintage and cute café managed by a sweet woman who sees to care about her business.
Food is good, although it came a bit slower than expected. Definitely a place to go a bit in advance before you start feeling hungry, but a wonderful place to spend an hour or two hanging out, drinking coffee / tea and enjoying the company of others.
It's not a place to be using your phone or wifi (there's none).
I ordered some pancakes, which were very tasty (different to what I'm accostumed to. Crunchier and more "eggy"). The marshmallow spread was overly sweet to my taste.
Price: 17€ for pancakes + Tea (not on the affordable side).

I recently visited Cafe Zuckerstück, a small and cute cafe, and I have to say it was a delightful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.
As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! I ordered the pancakes and was pleasantly surprised by the large portion size - it was so big that I struggled to finish it! My friends also enjoyed their orders, and like me, they had trouble finishing them too.
The atmosphere of the cafe was really nice, and it was the perfect spot for a relaxing brunch. The small and cozy interior of the cafe added to the overall charm and made for a very enjoyable experience.
If you're looking to try some traditional German bread, I highly recommend this place. The quality of the food is exceptional and the service is top-notch. It's worth noting that the cafe also accepts card payment, which is always a plus.
Overall, It's a lovely little cafe with delicious food, great atmosphere, and friendly staff. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

Fantastic breakfast options, prepared with passion and love for good food. Count in some waiting time, though. Reservations recommended as the are only four tables inside.

Incredibly cute and cozy spot in Prenzlauer Berg - I cannot recommend the freshly prepared and delicious food enough (especially the pancakes, which are just heavenly). Especially the intimacy of the Café (only about 10 seats) is fantastic. In winter, this is a charming place to spend time with friends and partners.
Secret tip: order the Karamelissimo Tea and add some milk.

Awesome place! No matter how busy it gets, and they get super busy over lunch time (12-13h), the staff always tries their best to be fast and efficient! The salads and bowls are fresh and worth their money! In case you are one of these impatient people, stay away from their peak hours or drink a juice to calm your nerves ;-)

I was feeling lazy so decided to order take out (which I hate doing because it’s never as good is eating at the restaurant) but Dean&David delivered these delicious large full salad bowls. I really enjoyed this spot!! I had the vegan avocado bowl and my friend had chicken bowl which he said was good. I felt sorry for the chicken tho 😢

I’ve been to so many different Dean & David in Berlin and I always ordered the same menu - salmon avocado bowl + matcha latte. I feel like I’m doing A/B testing for them just to figure out which branch has the best quality for this menu set. This one is the closest one to my place, but somehow it’s just my first time to pay the visit. I guess I just don’t know how to appreciate the things that can be reached too easily. Anyway, back to the food, I think they served a very decent salmon avocado bowl, but the matcha latte still has some room to improve compared to the one I tried in another brach. Nevertheless, still a very fulfilling meal. I’m just trying to be picky here to pretend I have a high bar. After all, I am a local guide level 6! Too much talk, conclusion: highly recommend!!!!!

Good place for fresh and healthy food but on the pricey side for what you get, shrimp slightly overcooked and heavy on the dressing, but still a pleasant place for a meal. The wraps are tasty as well, the whole range including cakes and desserts available. Inside and outside seating, currently no Wifi unfortunately.
Naomi Reich - 4 years ago
Absolutely recommended. We came in and received excellent service with a lot of patience. We're vegetarians and had no idea that they actually added Planted Chicken to their menu, allowing us to order also salads and bowls that are not strictly defined as vegan or vegetarian. We took their wraps and their 'chicken' bowls and enjoyed every moment. Everything was fresh, tasty, everyone there was kind and patient.

Actually serves dishes with meat now as well. Delicious healthy food at reasonable prices. Limited selection. Friendly and attentive service. Very little seating. Good smoothies. Still mall food, but the best you will find at this mall.

Quality Huaiyang cuisine in Berlin, very different menu from most of the Chinese restaurants here. Some special dishes are required to pre-order 1 day in advance.
MY BRE - 5 months ago
Nice place with excellent food, but will require patience and customer is not the king.
Food is overall good, with a quite distinct taste. Tried a couple of dishes, especially the hunan beef was excellent.
Drinks menu is OK, but some improvement potential on the services side: They forgot my drinks order completely (or they just came with it when I had already finsihed all) and English speaking level is clearly below acceptable.
So all in all food is 4.5 stars, but service only 3, so this time I have to objectively settle for a 4 as the food weighs higher.

Can't remember how many times I had been here for the never disappointed dish - beef ribs. This time tried the big pot of soup, it was amazing good.
We were very satisfied with the great food and friendly services just a bit long waiting time after ordered. Will come again.

Authentic Chinese food with specialty in spicy food
We went there because I wanted some specific Chinese food, such as spicy dock blood with intestines and green bean jelly.
We ordered 5 dishes- goiza (fried dumplings) with beef filling, green bean jelly with sesame sauce, fried beef in Hunan style( spicy) and the spicy duck blood with intestines.
Almost all the dishes are very strong flavors and well spiced. Definitely very authentic without adjustment for western taste.
I was very satisfied with the food and so was my 1-year-old son. He had a very good mood through the dinner. He loved the dumplings and the rice. The staffs there were very friendly. They interested with my son and it entertained him for sure. They also offered child chair.
They might be a bit under staff so the serving and the service was less efficient so be prepared when going there.

I passed by many times but never paid attention and didn’t even think about dine in. I guess the looking of the restaurant from outside is a bit mediocre. (Just my own unsolicited opinion) my friend suggested to have a dinner here today and surprisingly, they are very good. Food is tasty. Service is great. The price is also reasonable. Basically everything is on the spot. Definitely come here more often later!!!!

Lovely little gem for tapas in p-berg. Food is tasty with a good collection of meat and vegetables. I recommend the mushroom tapas, very delicious.
The atmosphere here is romantic but it's a tiny place with small tables, so it's quite difficult to move around.

Ate the New York Style pastrami croque. One of the best meals I've ever had. Staff was super nice also!
Sami Vuorinen - 5 months ago
I really like this place. I've been here multiple times. I prefer meat options: the pastrami and pulled ones are best for me. I've checked the avocado vegi alternative and it was good as well. (I didnt like gyro though). It's a very small place with usually single person in the kitchen, thus it takes quite a time to be prepared. You can play Mario on authentic dandy meanwhile.

The sandwiches are well put, they're firm and not collapsing, yet packed with fresh ingredients. The waiter was super friendly and glad to help with information for the order, spoke great English. He recommended iced white chocolate latte which was awesome, not too strong, not too weak with soft flavour. Would visit again if I'm around the area some day. (:

One of my favourite French restaurants in Berlin. The steak frites is in particular is delicious. I was also happy with the two red wines we tried. The staff were friendly and the food came quickly.

My favorite restaurant in Berlin. Cute French bistro with great wine selection and amazing food menu. The menu is very small but every meal is special. Their steak is heaven on earth, that sauce makes me cry every time 💔 The fries are to die for! If you want to feel like you’re in Paris for an evening, come here, you won’t regret it (but better book a table in advance because it gets very busy in the evening)

First time at La Buvette Winebar and it was simply amazing!
The staff and the location is something else, the food 3 course menu is also of high quality and very affordable. The fries in particular are the best I tasted in a while.
Thank you very much, we will certainly come back again.

Wow. This takes you to the best bistro in Paris without traveling. Everything from the place itself and the impeccable service, to the food and wine was absolutely perfect. What a gem in Berlin!

A cozy place where my French friends seem to really enjoy. Good cheese, good wine, good service. The staff was very friendly. He explained and recommended different wines in a very nice and professional manner. The food was also very tasty. The portion is not big but it was packed with flavors. The price was reasonable.
