Tiergartenquelle leaves a wonderful impression! The interior creates the feel of an old tavern. The service is top-notch — the staff is polite and attentive, ready to assist with choices.
The menu offers a variety of dishes, and everything I tried was very tasty! I was especially pleased with the portion sizes. The beer from Brauerei Lemke always leaves a nice impression.
It's also worth mentioning the excellent location of the establishment — right by the Tiergarten. The restaurant is located under the S-Bahn line.
We come here with colleagues to celebrate the end of the quarter at work. Be sure to reserve a table in advance. On Thursday evenings, it gets so crowded that there's hardly any room left!

This place is mostly set up in the open-air garden across from the main building, where there are all kinds of flies, bees, and small insects constantly flying around me. If you like bugs, this must be your paradise. Being close to the road, there’s also a lot of dust in the air. Many guests around were smoking, which I found really unpleasant. The pork knuckle had a very hard outer layer, was difficult to chew, and tasted bad.

Good food, especially their goulash soup and currywurst. My husband says go for their crispy pork knuckle (if you like pork knuckle, because no amount of good cooking can make me like pork knuckle as a dish). Our server spoke English and was very energetic. Really appreciated his service despite the fact that it was a very busy evening. Speaking of busy, I highly recommend you reserve a table because it filled out ENTIRELY in a blink and we had to share a table with another group mere minutes into our dinner, that too on a random Monday at 17:30!

A charming restaurant and pub, The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is very good and the portions are generous.
We don’t even know how we ended up here, we were just passing by and decided to give it a try, and we’re so glad we did! Highly recommended .

We came for dinner and beers, of course! and we were not disappointed. The summer terrace was open, the weather was nice and since it was our first time here, I asked a cool guy at the beer tap station how it works. So, if you only want a beer, you pay at the station and go sit wherever you find a free table. If you want to eat, you need to first choose a free table and then make your order and tell your table number. Beer you bring yourself and the food will be served to your table. Overall everything was good. Be prepared to pay tips, starting with 7% and up, but you have an option not to pay, if you want to :/ Also, prices are typical for here, beer is about €6-7 per glass, food is about €20 per dish. Finally - do recommend to visit. The overall experience was good.

If you want a different atmosphere in the middle of the city, then this restaurant is your choice. Boat restaurant in Spree river. Friendly service. Great food. We did try fish dish which first time i saw stingray being served in EU so i ordered it.

Honest cuisine, kind service, very pleasant surroundings.
As a French i may have higher than average standards regarding quality/price ratio hence the 4/5. But for a Parisian this ratio would be a 5/5. But it's good without being show off and not too expensive.
German people have something with asparagus that are kind of a puzzle to me, like they would make asparagus ice cream if that was ever possible, so there was a whole menu filled with asparagus as if Bubba Blue had making an asparagus menu instead of shrimp menue. Amazing.
Anyway the place on the water is really cool and relaxing. The veranda/greenhouse is very nice when it rains. We had a good time.
Thanks guys.

Capt'n Schillow was a wonderful find. The food was amazing and the staff even better. The location on the boat was a refreshing change to a traditional restaurant, great ambiance and authentic atmosphere. We can't wait to go back.

A really nice restaurant…. Food is very good as fusion food goes… not super authentic though - had the thai red curry
Was served by a very polite waiter and the place was nice and clean - albeit a bit empty

Food was absolutely delicious but they were understaffed and made the experience frustrating overall

This was a very agreeable evening. We decided spontaneously without any plan. We were a group of 4 with 1 person on a severe diet.
The service was flexible and very friendly. The food was excellent and so were the drinks. Not a single thing to complain about.
We had
Spicy beef rolls 😋 highlight
Duck rolls 😋
Black Tiger shrimps both, starter and main 😋
Thai coconut soup 😋
Wok vegetables😋
Thank you.

High quality Asian fusion food. I am a fish and seafood lover as well as asian flavour fan, so I enjoyed it to the fullest. We ordered 4 starters and 2 dishes for the main course as well as many different🍸cocktails. The signature designer plates by KPM ("Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur" - The Royal Porcelain Factory) are fantastic in a combination with the carefully selected and tastefully decorated Asian fusion dishes served with a sense of creativity. Will definitely go back again! I recommend the 🥥 Coconut Milk Soup "Sup Sua Dua" and the Grilled Tuna Yeriaki as well as Teryaki Sashimi.
They have great coffee ☕️ (Andraschko coffee beans).

Never ate a pho in so fancy decoration restaurant. The restaurant was crowded but I saw no Asian here which is not a good sign for me. Outside was rainy and we didn’t want to walk in the rain for another 15 mins or sth so we kind of had no choice but stayed here. At the first thought I was like it might be some type of place that for white, but the food turns out very tasty and the service is also very good. I am so sorry that I was so wrong. The price is a bit in the high end for a pho, but we are satisfied. I might not come here again but I will remember this night. Thank you 🙏

Booked a table for the second day of Eid and was hesitant due to the not so nice reviews, however we gave it a chance...
from the minute you enter until the end we had the best time and we are glad to finally have a beautiful elegant a spacious restaurant with a huge Terrasse and bomb music playing..
Let's not talk about the authentic food , which I was craving for ages and the prices are super reasonable.... I think I find me a new spot..
Also the waiters are super attentive and polite.

Great Biergarten with the best chips I've had in a long time, delicious beers and friendly staff. Can be loud depending on how full it is or what's happening on the street right next to it.

Amazingly spacious beer garden next to the tram, the scent of blooming elderberries wafted over from the neighboring farm. Great.
You get your drinks at the booth, and the food is brought to your table.
We simply had currywurst with fried potatoes; two portions for three people were perfectly adequate and really tasty. The beer is highly recommended.
It's a shame we don't have anything like that back home in Kiel.

Sweet and cozy place to have a quick and delicious meal. I’m vegan and I truly enjoyed their vegan options. I also love the way the restaurant is designed. It’s right by the Spree river where you can enjoy the beautiful view while eating your yummy food. The owner and the staff are really friendly and welcoming and the food is made quickly too. Overall, I’m really glad I found this beautiful place. I’ll definitely come back. Thank you! 😊

We were 4 people, 3 of us ordered 2 meals each and one person ordered only 1 meal.
The food came chaotically, they brought all the meals for 3 people (so we had 6 plates on the table), some meals were cold like Vareniki.
The 4th person got the meal ONLY when we finished all our 6 meals standing on the table. So 3 people finished their complete dinner while one was still waiting for his food.
As a gesture for waiting we got a piece of cake which was not very good. It also had a dried out piece of strawberry on top.
The food was Ok, some dishes better some worse. But the overall feeling was off. Feels like the kitchen staff doesn’t know how to proper work in a restaurant, what you need to bring first and so on.
Won’t come again.
