A very nice place, but the food is far from good - there is not a single cooked meal on the lunch menu. If you like pizza and burgers though - that is your place. As for the the prices - they are too high for a self-service restaurant.

I've never been disappointed by the food here; it's delicious, has a good selection, and is reasonably priced. There are also a few vegetarian dishes and a small selection of drinks. It's not big: a few seats inside and three tables outside. Even if I want something just before closing time, I get friendly service and the food is still delicious. Parking is a bit difficult.

We've been going there for a few years and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. You can usually even get a huge portion for little money. We really enjoy eating there with the children. It's just a bit small and narrow.

Still siting in the restaurant and writing this. The owner/guy on the register was unfriendly over a situation of a four season/four cheese misunderstanding while he took my order and insisted on telling me that he wrote it down as of ut means thats what I ordered. Low service and hopitality.

An absolutely pure, high tier izakaya experience. Reminded me so much of my time in Japan. From the way the ordering happens, to the way the menu is set up, to the selection of the drinks, and the chefs & front of house welcoming and greeting in the same way. To knowing their menu & ingredients well, and specifically, not holding back on presenting pure Japanese cuisine. I went here thinking I'd have a casual little dinner. To basically trying to order most of the menu and consider it a little holiday. Their recommendations are top tier. The whiskey and Sake was incredible, it's so nice to have warm and sparkling sake, served nostalgicly. The food is fast, the simplest things, like the umami cabbage salad, made me question why on earth I've been making French or steak house style salads and wasting my damned time no having sesame oil (and I think sesame paste as the emulsifier) in my salads. This is in my top 10 memorable spots for just being a resturant that feels like I've been dropped back in Japan. So grateful it exists here.

A superb Izakaya! Not common to find this quality and authenticity in Europe. Really enjoyed all the dishes we tried, and the sake was very nice as well. Will definitely come back next time I’m in Berlin.

(Visted on June 2025) Phenomenal. Everything tasted amazing. The ambiance is as authentic as you can get for an izakaya in Berlin. All people working there are Japanese and super friendly. There's a good selection of Sake bottles. Highlight for me was the pressed sushi with the seared mackerel. I'm already planning my next visit.

I had only heard good things about this place and I was pleased to experience these good things in person myself. I booked a table for 2 for my partner's birthday and everything was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we walked in and took in the restaurant and its wonderful ambience, to the staff being incredibly friendly, and then the food being served quickly, everything was perfect. The dishes were not only beautifully presented but also tasted exquisite, each bite bursting with flavor. The drinks were just as, if not more, impressive. They offer a plethora of drinks from japanese highballs, to longdrinks and a variety of wonderful sake. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience! Also dare I say, quite a rare experience at this pricepoint in Berlin. I'll personally be coming back more frequently and I recommend anyone who enjoys food to come and experience it themselves too!

A small casual Izakaya, that has a set menu, and a changing menu in terms of dishes. Out of the set menu, highly recommend the cabbage salad, and the miso pork. Whatever specials they have will be great. Had the teriyaki eel and it was succulent and flavorful, the beef croquettes were so tasty, and the monkfish salad while it was good, the portion of the monkfish was rather little. There is a variety of sakes available, which get served traditionally. The overall vibe is just nice, you can have a conversation and privacy, while the place is packed. The only criticism I have is the price/portion ratio, you get very little food for a high price tag, especially for the specials. I understand that there aren't many places like this, but this would be the only drawback. Definitely make a reservation. I highly recommend the place! We'll be coming back!

At this restaurant, we experienced genuine hospitality. The chef recommended the special meat meze, allowing us to savor a variety of meats. We also tried the sauces, which were absolutely delightful. The meat was expertly prepared and perfectly seasoned. The sauces, including tzatziki, offered unique flavors, and the bread was fresh and warm. It was an extraordinarily delicious experience. Prices were affordable. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Reis Mama provides best food that you will ever have. Food is really delicious with very reasonable price. The owner is very kind and sweet, welcomed me with smile. This restaurant warmed my windy day with super good vietnamese soup. You will never regret, just try! Oops and don't forget Berliner beer. Super good combination with soup.

The food is nice on a budget, but I feel that it was somewhat lacking in flavor. I got their green curry, which didn't feel particularly flavorful and was made up of mostly lettuce. I also had sushi which was also not particularly flavorful, but the rolls were quite cheap. Ps. They don't accept credit/debit cards. Only cash
